I wanted to force myself to love this , but it was finally time to let it go. I did not get a lot of coconut, mainly smokey vanilla. It reminded me of wearing a vanilla fragrance, as I walked out of a bar filled with cigarette smoke. Others love and rock this scent. I just did not love it enough to keep..

Sexy as hell if you don't like this try Disumano!

AkaNeri

It's so close to Vanilla woods right after the application! Very beautiful scent!

Just like the reviewer below, I had to sample this twice because I thought something was off with the first sample I received. The only notes I get are wood and light vanilla with a tiny hint of sweetness. I smell no caramel or coconut. On me it sits very close to the skin and has no projection at all. This one is a major disappointment.

I tried it twice because the first time I thought the sampler was off, but no, also the second time I disliked it. Similar to Golden Sand but worse and way more expensive. The woody notes in the background make it a little bitter (smells a bit like bad breath or brand new tire rubber). No coconut, no caramel. It’s an unsophisticated fragrance, there are much better gourmands out there.

To be honest, I don't really agree with the reviews below. On my skin, there is no coconut and the caramel note is there for less than a minute, and then the fragrance immediately turns very woody, slightly dusty and not overly sweet. Not groundbreaking by any means, but it's rather lovely to wear on colder days.
Baroqu3 mentioned a tobacco note that is not listed, and I totally get what they mean! I think it contributes to the dryness that I mentioned, but I don't think the fragrance itself leans masculine. I actually find this perfectly unisex.

a really yummy vanilla fragrance!!

Kaylovely

Gooey syrup cocco cream with a sudsy vibe. Better than Leisure in Paradise.

i love this, looking for someone in uk who has samples/ bottle

Magifera

It's a lovely, yet basic gourmand on me. Caramel vanilla, that's it. Pretty, but too simple for my taste.

wow... I REALLY wanted a full bottle of this scent. I plotted and planned to buy, however I already have it! Its called Perlier Caribbean Original Vanilla!!

Upon first spray testing, I was a bit taken back, and thought to self, wait a second, I have this scent! It took a second, but then it hit me - this is Perlier Caribbean Original Vanilla. So I tested side by side.... Here is the difference: Caldo Gourmand is wee bit stronger and woodier. It also seems like its more refined, quality scent.

This is a nice scent. Not too spendy. Highly recommend. I am going to wait on buying a bottle, since I do have the Perlier.

Caldo Gourmand is somewhat boozy vanilla, woody, creamy. Longevity is fairly good. The scent does not really change at all throughout the wear, no development, dry down, etc. Its the same, which not a bad thing at all.

First time I smelled it in the shop, I forgot about it but came back the next day as could not stop thinking about the smell. It smelled so lovely. Purchased the tester and now it reminds me of Angel- which I sincerely dislike- by Thierry Mugler .

This is unique and beautiful, right up there with Hermes Narguile, It's that good.
This comes across as an elegantly mild coconut woods with a sensual 'come hither' caramel/musk . Very sexy, very hard to find :(

Jnn

No coconut here for me. Only sweet wood, caramel, some fruits. At the beginning I didn't like this fragrance, but in an hour or so wood notes became weaker. I like caramel fruits. Yum!
