Not sure how to fully explain it, but this scent immediately takes me back to the memory of that old Pixar short “Knick Knack” LMAOO.. you know the one where the snowman is desperately trying to get out of his chilly snow globe and join the hotties out in the sun by the pool having fun?? Do you remember the girl he was crushing on?? I feel like this is EXACTLY what she’d smell like lol. I loveeee when a perfume takes you back to a certain memory, time, or place. Literally just smells like a beautiful, nostalgic day of having fun and living life!

calcalidota

LOVE this scent! Can't really capture 100% what the smell is, but its a nice bergamot and jasmine mix, last a long while and I have gotten many compliments. Would recommend!

Make_It_Make_Scents

I wanted to like this fragrance so badly. They said it smelled more in line with the original Alien which is one of my favorite fragrances of all time. But alas, the jasmine or jasmine tea? note in Alien Goddess Intense is too loud and indolic, borderline stinky on me. Which is crazy because it's a similar complaint people have about OG Alien, even though I don't find the jasmine notes to be similar at all between the two. I will say after a few hours it calms down and the dry down is a lovely coconut vanilla and cozy cashmere. But still not worth the wait. I am going to give Goddess Intense another chance but so far a no for me.

Diari

I noticed something I can only call a "neon floral accord", and it's everywhere in popular feminine releases now: Valentina Born in Roma, this one, The Only One Intense, and even the recent Burberry Goddess. It's brash, loud, syrupy, and drives me up the wall. Nope.

scarlettcupcake

This is 1000% a summer scent. Coconut vanilla sun tan lotion. I'd mostly wear this on a Florida vacation or even going to a pool party.
I can still smell it on my clothes days later

Foxzilla

Blind bought this. Became addicted after first wearing. Have only been wearing this day & night since then (about a week, but that's a lot for me).

I just can't get enough of this, it's sooo good! It's dense, lush, sensual, and unique. It's like the love-child of Alien and Alien Goddess, with added bergamot and jasmine tea to help brighten it up. On my skin, this scent leans more Alien than AG, which I'm happy about bc coconut notes usually become rather suffocating on me. In the drydown, the vanilla and cashmere notes help give this a sensual twist, and that's where it stays for the rest of it's duration. Performance-wise, it's pretty average. For me, it lasts about 5 hrs on skin and until the next day on clothes, with about medium sillage.

Overall, I am very happy with this. It's pretty mass-appealing, but different enough to be interesting. This is supposed to be a summer scent, but it definitely works for all seasons (if not better in the fall). For the same reason, I don't feel bad about its mediocre performance -- bc if this were to be more intense, it would be difficult to wear in the summer. If you're on the fence, try to test it first. However, for me, this was a very successful blind buy, and I don't regret it one bit.

I do not understand the hype on this perfume unfortunately. I was really looking forward to the coconut note but this whole scent is a miss for me. There is a note here that just doesnt sit well for me (its not skin chemistry, the whole perfume I feel is ruined by this note).

I sadly dont get coconut or beachy at all. Smells very synthetic and plastic-y from initial spray to dry down.

Sadly I am just not impressed at all. To be fair, I have never enjoyed a Mugler scent. There is something so off putting about them and I cant figure out what it is. There seem to be so many fans of this one, so definitely test it yourself and see!

Cloverdosee

Omg I love this!! 100% hands down my fave Alien I’ve ever tried. Not even sure how to begin describing it.. the first thing that seems to come to mind is “ethereal bliss.”

I feel like I’m on vacation in 2005 or something lol. Very much giving Kodak moment.. just smells like the memory of a really nice, nostalgic day. It immediately makes me happy and relaxed. I envision the sun shining down on me and these cute little palm trees that are dancing. Everything around me feels enhanced and full of life, like the animation in a 1930’s cartoon.

The scent itself is so beyond delicious and downright mesmerizing. It all just seems blended to perfection. The vanilla, jasmine, benzoin and cashmere wood all mix together as if they’re soulmates and then the coconut helps round it all out without ever smelling too “coconut-ey.” Creamy perfection.. I really really like it lol can u tell.

I love all the perfumes in my collection so far (still very new to the perfume world), but this is one of the first ones (besides my #1 girly Aura) to genuinely evoke the feeling of pure bliss for me. The past and the future at the same time….. waittttt holy shit I think this perfume just made me realize the value of the present moment... it’s actually not the past nor the future, it’s right now. My love for goddess intense grows exponentially the more I smell it. Brb I’m gonna go zone out watching the palm trees dance 💃🌴☀️💗

Omg I am in love! Alien goddess is really good, alien goddess intense is even better. I'm now tempted to get hypersense

TJJ

Radiant and captivating! Lush jasmine, coconut and vanilla grounded with cashmere wood - notes that last all
day on my skin and project nearly equal that amount of time. Goddess Intense mimics the jasmine bomb that is Alien but to my nose provides more complexity with expert blending. I have received many compliments on this and I rarely get complimented on my fragrance - probably because I spray sparingly. Two sprays of Goddess Intense on my skin is enough for others to notice and I love it. I also enjoy layering this with Valentino Born in Roma Intense. There are enough similarities between the two to make an even more interesting scent trail.

sezbez124

Absolutely gorgeous, staple perfume, if you can afford it. However, the longevity is a bit of a let down, given the price and the quality of the ingredients. But again, if it's within your price range, it's very versatile!

elenagr22

Very nice perfume! Another successful launch by Muglier

The perfect balance between sweet and floral and dare I say a very sexy perfume! Much better than the EDT and a safe blind buy if you are into the notes!

I prefer this to Alien 100% (lets be honest, Alien is good but frickin everybody wears it also it makes me dizzy)

@CosyCattleya try Vanille Coco by Comptoir Sud Pacifique

CosyCattleya

As I'm hunting for a nice coconut perfume, I am disappointed by Alien Goddess Intense. I don't smell coconut in here at all. It's just sweet, floral, and fruity. Funnily enough, I smell more coconut in the original Goddess, but both still smell pretty average, not worth the price imho.

MeditativeRose

I am a massive fan of the OG Alien and even own the new EDT which I adore despite not being keen on the patchouli note but I must say that I was a bit underwhelmed by this when I bought it a few months ago. Lo and behold, a few months later as my bottle got a chance to be macerated and turn into a deep bourbon like concoction, I am in love! This is one of those slow burn kind of loves and so worth it.

Aeternitas

I could not warm up to the original Alien (I tried for years to like it to no avail), but Alien Goddess Intense has very quickly become a favorite in my collection. I reach for it daily!

Jasmine is my favorite flower for sentimental reasons, as my nonna grew jasmine on her balcony, which was very much a part of my childhood. And this, my friends, is a sunny Jasmine bomb. I'm happy to say it doesn't smell synthetic on me, as most jasmine-forward perfumes tend to do. It's a true, radiating Jasmine smoothed out and warmed up by comforting vanilla and a touch of coconut. It was love from the moment I tested it!
This one's worth having back-up bottles of, I'll be wearing the hell out of it for summer.

I want to mention that I generally am not a fan of coconut, but it's done very well in Goddess Intense, and it stays in the background for me.

The projection and longevity is average, but I'm okay with reapplying this one. Every spray is a moment of happiness and comfort. Couldn't love this one any harder!

Saveria

Here is a nice surprise and a very nice scent!

To my nose, it's jasmine, vanilla and amber (more like benzoin!) which take precedence over the rather discreet coconut. The result is a very feminine and sunny perfume that I could see myself wearing during summer, but not only ; I think it's quite wearable all year round.

The staying power is very good, the sillage moderate.

I find Alien and this one very different. The first is a very imposing whiff of jasmine and has a fresh, luminous side. This one is much more focused on vanilla and amber (even if you can also smell jasmine) and is much warmer and solar. I also find it sweeter.

LunaFortuna

Imagine that the original Alien and YSL Libre had a baby. This is that baby.

Letmeregister

It just smells intensely artificial, tropical scent with chemicals.

piahellgren

Stunning. Very attractive. Absolutely lovehow creamy the vanilla is and how there is just a smidgen of coconut. I like contradictions in fragrances and here it is creamy AND fresh/almost aquatic at the same time. Cashmere and jasmin tea. Genius. Move over summer scents, here comes Alien Goddess Intense!

jillvee

I blind bought this during a recent mugler sale figuring it may be worth a shot based on the notes, for the price. I was a bit surprised when i got so much jasmine up front when i first sprayed it onto skin. After about 10 minutes, the other components started to come out and I got more of the coconut, vanilla and jasmine tea. I'm glad that the coconut in this doesn't lean cheap kitschy pina colada or sunscreen but rather adds a little more of a lactonic creaminess together with the vanilla. It is still a little bit stronger on the floral in the opening for my personal taste but I do like it at the drydown with a warm vanilla cashmere that is a little more mature. Would be a great summer scent in warm weather.

ribbonnn

pretty, sweet, basic, lovely. mmm, coconut vanilla and jasmine, i love this.

Laura2979

I’m not sure if this was reformulated in 2022-2023 because when I tried it in 2021-2022 it had a beautiful dry down of sexy vanilla . My new bottle that I just got Just screams overly floral strong screechy jasmine and it’s too much for my nose, it needs to be a bit softer . The original alien dna is definitely very much there but I think I prefer the original alien to this as this one is way too strong and leaning towards bathroom freshener on me ; too bad if it’s been reformulated.

KimberMoon

There’s a bit too much OG Alien in this one for me. I wore the original years ago until I just wore myself out on it. I do love the original Goddess, the Alien DNA is not so present to my nose and the coconut is so well done. I don’t even get coconut in Intense. This does have the weird profile, (iykyk, it’s kinda cool and funky but I don’t mean that in a negative way), that Aura and OG do for sure and if you like that, you will like this one as well.

BCBH

Vanilla, coconut, and jasmine notes are easy to pick out. Could have sworn I smelled something similar in the early 2000s. Smells slightly like daffodils. If you've tried 7 Virtues Coconut Sun, this smells like a "warmer" version to me.

kiaoi

Reviewing a sample and I totally get who said that this scent smells like the early 2000s! To me, it smells like Versace woman, a perfume from the same era that I bought but I didn’t like it. I have been collecting perfumes for about 20+ years and this doesn’t feel unique, nor is long lasting. I am glad samples exist, so I don’t take the plunge on something that looks and sounds good, but that’s not really for me.

FreshieFrance

I got a sample of this and honestly hated it so much. Smells of cheap Macys perfume from the 2010s. I scrubbed it off. Generic and cheap, scrubbed it off after 4 hours because it wouldn’t go away, lol. Not a fresh smell on me.

tarajane91

I wore this a several times last summer (over 2-3 months), and I simply couldn't understand everyone's reviews that Goddess Intense was sweet, vanillic and coconutty. It was overwhelming jasmine for me, to the point it kept making me sneeze, and no vanilla or coconut. I decided that I would declutter it and it's been sat in a box since autumn.

Today I randomly decided to spray it - it has transformed! Sweet vanilla, gorgeous coconut on a bed of jasmine - so THIS is what everyone was talking about! It only took 6+ months to get there. Needless to say I'm definitely giving Goddess Intense another go this spring/summer...

Morale of the story is that if you're having the same experience as I did initially, let your bottle sit for a number of months.

HippyDippy57

On me, this is a coconut, tropical, banger. This is still going strong 8 hrs after I put it on. I can smell the coconut, vanilla and jasmine quite clearly. Although I can't resist wearing this at any time of year, the way this smells on me, it is very much a summer, late autumn perfume. I think any age group could wear it. Absolutely love it.

Anfissa

This is a bit different from Alien Goddess. If you were frustrated with the balmy beach like qualities of Alien Goddess, and thought it was a far cry from the original Alien, you might really like this one. In the dry down and the middle it gets into some serious jasmine. This is jasmine and more jasmine and then some more jasmine tea. I was a bit frustrated with this one because on my skin it was pulling just the very strong jasmine note, no variation. But everyone's chemistry is different. It is a very beautiful, good quality perfume that should appeal to the lovers of jasmine, vanilla and coconut. On the other hand, I fell absolutely in love with Alien Goddess Supra Florale. It was definitely sweeter, more glamorous and had very interesting notes, such as cactus blossom. And the jasmine in it was sweeter, rounder and more fragrant rather than the really strong jasmine that you get in its sister goddess, the intense. But to each, its own goddess :) and its own alien. So far I love my Alien!

Missjojoh

I wasn't sold on first sniff but having learnt to give perfumes a chance and wear them a few times rather than judge straight away, I'm loving this especially the dry down. Only issue I have is it doesnt seem to last long... I use the word 'seem' as I'm unsure whether I just go nose blind to it or whether it does just fade very quickly...

Ellyloveswednesday

Okay so I tested this, loved it, bought a bottle and now I hate it. It turns a weird creamy soap on me. I'm not sure why, if its my skin or my nose or the liquid. I'm gonna let it macerate and come back to it in a few months.

cassandragood27

Nice step up for me for vanilla scents. Seems boring and like all of the others until the very last second where im left with the essence of what I want to smell like. A bit to much for a super hot spring and summer but maybe evenings

etherealwitch24

I don't think this cologne live up to my expectation which is full of coconut and vanilla scents. This one and Valentino Voce Viva bear a resemblance to each others as they all start with a linear bergamot note. While the bergamot scent in Valentino is stronger and spicier (maybe because of ginger scent), I could only detect the mild coconut note if I sniff this perfume carefully. All in all, I'd say that this works best in winter and men can also wear it. If you're a woman, I can envision a somewhat powerful and attractive one. To teenagers or girls who pursue a feminine or coquette style, this one might not be for you.

jenzel4381

I loved the smell on paper...but it must not go with my body chemistry because the scent changes once its on my skin...and not in a good way :(

fairypond

I already reviewed the original alien goddess a while back, and while I though it was pretty good I can't believe how much better this is! I'm a huge fan of anything jasmine, and here the jasmine tea note really shines. In the og scent I barely detect it. Super smooth and sweet, with that typical white floral intensity, like a hot, humid summer night on a tropical beach.

MissGirly87

Coconut! Jasmine! Vanilla! Tea! This is really bright and also very deep, sweet, and rich. I like wearing it in the winter, to remind me that brighter, tropical days are ahead.

erika.isme.98

I'm here to get help because is this one of the best smells I've experienced? Yes. Does it have unbelievably bad performance on my skin and is it gone in literally MINUTES? Also yes.

Before you tell me to prime my skin... No other fragrances are this quick to evaporate on me. I already use lotion/oil and I don't even have dry skin. A lot of fragrances last 10+ hours on me!

Any dupe suggestions with better lasting power? Please DM me!

Faverinsky

Attention Kiwis and Aussies! I have the 60ml version of this perfume, I bought it on a whim and I cannot stand the overpowering jasmine in it, I'm interesting in trading it as I've sprayed it on twice and I'm always on the hunt for the next thing! Please pm me if interested and let me know what you have to trade :)

Morgan45

I asked for this for Christmas and got it (finally). I've wanted it since first sniff. It's like a winter coconut/vanilla. A tiny bit sunscreeny, but just barely, not nearly as much as Alien Goddess original. There's something about this fragrance that smells to me like a freshly ironed shirt that's still hot. I can't explain it better than that but I love it.

Ellyloveswednesday

This is such a beautiful scent on me! It opens up nice and bright and sweet with the coconut and bergamot. Then the jasmin comes through(yes jasmin is very prominent so beware), and blends the slightly tropical opening with the warm and sweet vanilla benzoin base. This stage lasts quite a while on me before it fades into a warm vanilla skin scent.
It is definitely heavier, more jasmine and more grounded than the original Alien Goddess, which I prefer. The original was a bit too bright and light for my taste. (Although I must say I tested it in winter; it might be better in warm weather).
I love Alien Goddess Intense, and the combination of the bright opening and the warm sweet base makes it wearable in all seasons in my opinion!
Very beautiful and elegant on me.

LisaJane97

Had a sample and used it. This smells almost EXACTLY like Elie Saab Girl of Now Shine. Almond/pistachio smell, very intense, for gourmand lovers. A fall/winter scent. Kind of yummy but kind of overwhelming as well. But crazy that’s it’s just the same as Girl of Now Shine.

amanda0727

Typical suncreen coconut beachy type scent but this is very rich and sweet. While it smells nice, I don't know if i can stomach wearing this for long periods of time as it is super heady.

YonaNachev

I was looking for something out of the Alien collection. My favourite perfume was Alien Absolue which was discontinued. It’s by no means a substitute for it. However, when I first smelled it, I loved it. After a few days, I bought it. I don’t know why but as time passed by I liked it less and less. I am usually looking for that intoxicating scent and it’s just not it. I am not completely sure what it smells like after a few hours but I hate it. I feel like it has nothing to do with Alien. I definitely regret this purchase.

Madzmadz

Brought this from a tiktok recommendation.
Definitely hink this one leans more unisex than the standard Alien Goddess fragrance and I think this one smells nicer than the original Alien Goddess. I actually think it would smell quite nice on men rather than women. You can definitely pick up the coconut, vanilla, floral scents but feels slightly more musky that standard AG. Would not encourage anyone to blind purchase.

ambervxyjul

I thought this would be alien goddess with more intensity. Alien goddess is a coconut vanilla almost sun tan lotion scent. It’s a great scent but the projection and longevity is non existent. I blind bought the intense version hoping it would be a more elevated longer lasting original (I have a vacation coming up and wanted alien goddess to be my tropical perfume), but it is completely different! I get a complete white floral bouquet. I smell Jasmine mostly but almost a tuberose as well? It’s making me nauseous. Reminds me of a less green Gucci bloom! So different from the original! It’s dried down on me now for about an hour and I get a slight coconut but not much. It’s definitely a full white floral fragrance! I will keep testing in hopes it eventually agrees with my skin.
I also think projection and longevity isn’t the greatest with this one. After Mugler sold the brand, it seems the fragrances defaulted in quality.

Update: lesson learned. Always test for days and weeks to get a full opinion. I love this now, the coconut shines more through and I am getting an even balance of notes. Delicious!

Dani91

Wow, I'm surprised by the reviews. I thought based on them that this would be a vanilla forward scent with creamy notes of coconut and amber. But all I'm really getting is loud jasmine. I love jasmine but based on the description it was just not what I was expecting when I blind bought this. It also doesn't last long at all on me and for an intense line, that's disappointing. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't smell bad. It's a pleasant jasmine white floral. But that's all I get sadly. Wouldn't repurchase

moonsunstars

Wow, this is beautiful! I could immediately detect the Jasmine the first time I sprayed this on my arm. Where the original Alien Goddess lacked the Alien DNA, Goddess Intense more than makes up for. I do kind of get a tea like freshness with the jasmine, which I find very refreshing - although this is not a refreshing fragrance to me. In fact, I find it to be rather warm and cozy. I pick up the coconut as well, which translates to lightly sweetened coconut flakes on my skin. The warm vanilla/benzoin drydown adds a slight booziness which really makes this perfect for sweater weather. Overall, I am super happy I decided to get this - it's stunning!

sendiri.87

its interesting to read that some of the comments find it more gourmand than floral...I think its the body chemistry which reacts differently because on my skin it was heavily floral for the first 2-3 hours, by 5-6 hours when floral notes wore off completely, the vanilla notes were prominent.

Scissorslizardspock

I ignored the hype, found the original to be pleasant but nothing I needed to wear, thought this would be another in the endless sea of flankers…

I was wrong.

This is coconut and jasmine and vanilla, all at once. I have no idea if I’ll actually wear this in the heat, but it’s delicious in the cold weather. Sometimes I get more of a coconut/vanilla vibe, other times Alien grape-y jasmine peeks out, and tropical florals sort of float in and out. I get the hype, it’s a really good release.

Bachi

Alien Goddess Intense smells as if Alien OG and Dior Poison OG had a child. It is pretty and flowery, with a vintage touch. I get no coconut, no vanilla. I get lots of flowers and juicy, sweet plum. It is strong and a little goes a very long way. This is not a perfume I'm interested in but I can see its appeal.

SSolstice

Dense, creamy, coconut dream. Heavy on the amber, so I definitely think it pairs well with colder weather. I’m always obsessively sniffing myself when I have this on but I loathe the fact that it disappears after a couple of hours, a shame as it’s been on heavy rotation for me. Delicious though!

pixiemist

I don’t know how to feel about this one. I think i might love it but also maybe not? The jasmine note is what peaks my interest and on paper it’s perfect, earthy, herbal jasmine. On my skin, I can’t always pick up the florals, in fact on my skin it smells like praline…which i’m not mad about but it’s not what i expected or want from the scent. But then I will get a wiff of the jasmine again in the air and blended with this resinous praline scent and it’s stunning. I just wish there was more consistency in this fragrance but maybe that inconsistency is part of the appeal? Definitely one you should try on your skin. I think I need time with it before I decide whether it’s a keeper. If you are a gourmand lover this might lean more toward your side of the spectrum. If you’re a jasmine lover like me, I definitely recommend testing it out first. Jasmine is there but it’s fickle.

WitchyStarlight

Sooo scrumptious and warming on the skin. This is my emotional support perfume, literally. It always makes me feel so much better.

I layer this with either Cheirosa 62, Bare Vanilla by VS, or Warm Vanilla Sugar. It always ends up being a mouth watering combo. Even on its own its so yummy and creamy and has that warmth to it that I love. That amber vanilla coconutty warmth is actually what makes this so pleasant to wear before bed for me. It feels like a warm hug on chilly winter nights. The only issue is that the longevity is quite weak because it only projects for 1-2 hours and is nonexistent after that. You're paying a hefty price for this, so..... is it worth repurchasing? I don't know. It's such a shame because its a divine scent I quite like. But its quality is on par with a bodyspray thats 90% water and is just way too diluted to even last at all. I'd like to also note that ''Meet Me in Miami'' by Bath & Body Works can work as a dupe for this, its exactly the same scent, though it doesn't last (like every single bodyspray from there....... sigh)

babypong

Tried this on a whim at nordstrom. Made a little tester vial and brought it home. Love to apply this before bed. Alien Goddess intense is soothing and playful. She reminds me of the G harajuku lovers perfume I had when I was younger, and perhaps that nostalgia is why I like alien goddess so much. This perfume has strong coconut and vanilla notes for me. If you look for it some balsamic notes come out to play too. I get slight bergamot whispers, which I guess is the cashmir wood note. Silage is truly moderate. Lasts about 6 hours. I love this. I will not be adding it to my collection at this time because I'm just not looking to add a coconutty vanilla fragrance. But, maybe some day when I've collected everything else this will stand out as my coconut/vanilla star.

scent.2go

This is fall/winter fragrance guys. Under 15 degrees use only. In spring/summer it is so innocent, boring and simple. Fall/winter is bold loud, sexy, warm and cold at the same time (warm-cashmeran, cold- jasmine). I looooove it!

BoutiqueLove

Disappointing like soo many perfumes in the last 5 years.... generic, sickly sweet, cheap tuberose, aspartame, sticky, 90s body spray waste of time.
This one is strong with coconut to begin with and dries down to the non descript grave yard of trash fragrances....... What a waste

Atomikbomb_

Mugler is getting warmer with this one...not hot, or red hot like they were in their glory day...but warmer. This is passable.

And by "passable" I mean, it's a "C", not a B and certainly not an A or A+ like their original full-strength, pre-reform pillar fragrances.

It has a shamelessly artificial coconut. That's cool, Mugler never did try to smell naturalistic, I don't mind it. It projects and has a certain tropical sensuality about it.

It has LARGE jasmine, but it sadly isn't the skanky, sexier-than-life-itself indolic sambac jasmine of the original. My head doesn't swim when I smell this, though it is beautiful in a more conventional way. Many, many people are probably going to love this. I would actually go as far as to say it might even be gorgeous, it's very *pearlescent* smelling.

But I'm never going to be satisfied as an oldschool Mugler fangirl until things strike me deeply on the level of the notoriously glorious fragrances of the past. I'm just super biased, please forgive me...or don't. Doesn't matter really, we all have our tastes. This just doesn't have the same magic, I'm not sure we'll see another Mugler that will. Though I'll probably keep trying...trying, and hoping.

Finka227

I’m surprised to see coconut as a note in this one because to me it doesn’t come through at all. it’s mainly vanilla but ala Alien DNA. Fresh type light scent, not overly sweet or overpowering outgoing day/night a good staple to have if you’re into the Alien perfumes. Definitely beautiful scent ✨

Maailman Katselija

I got my small bottle today and I can say this perfume is a "like", not a "love" for sure. Why is that?
1) the balance of the fragrance has moved too much towards the too well-known OG Alien jasmine, which makes it rather an OG Alien flanker than an Alien Goddess one.
2) I do not find it sexy and loud at all, but rather quiet, elegant and down-to-earth. Demi Rawling and Jus de Rose say it is a great date night scent, but I do not agree with their view at all. It seems way too innocent for a date. White flowers should be bold and intoxicating, Actually, I see it more as a daytime scent! I even went outside for a walk with my baby and he was not bothered by the fragrance in any way (he usually cries if a perfume is too strong). Draw your own conclusions.
3) the 30 ml bottle is very cute, maybe in my top 5!

Jezeleah

I’m finding that early fall is the right time for this gem, despite there being a coconut note. I really dislike those sunscreen, tropical summer fragrances, and this does not fall into that category for me. It was too cloying in the summertime, so I tried it now and the compliments keep coming.

selinacat

Great amber, but there is an unusual almost oakmoss tinge at the base of this that I'm unsure about. It comes off musty. So, musty coconut. The jasmine here is the same type used in Alien, but that's where the connection ends. Its not as distinctively related the way good flankers should be.

I'm not a coconut perfume lover but I wanted one because I love eating it. This doesn't scratch that itch, but it doesn't not scratch that itch. I'm in the mood in warmer weather and this feels very wintery. I'm on the fence.

For reference, I can live in Alien, Dior Addict, etc all year round. Femme fetale perfumes are like skinscents on my chemistry.

Mshapiro2115

Blind purchase as I purchased the original Goddess blind and loved it. This intense version is just that. More intense. More vanilla, more amber and more warmth. Still a coconut beachy scent but this one pulls more warm vanilla on me. Scent lasts a decent 4-5 hours on skin and even longer on clothes. A safe blind buy if your a warm vanilla lover.

scent.2go

So much better than og goddess 😍 longer lasting, more depth, stronger, and that cashmeran note in dry down is to dye for!

Kuty22

This is intense intense.
I've sprayed once in my arm, its been more than 10 hours now. I feel it only becomes a skin scent after 7 hours.
This is great for fall and winter

Beeboss

I feel like you layer Alien the original and Narciso Ambrée you get this scent. Absolutely lovely !

AlliCat1215

Much better than the regular alien goddess. This one actually smells like a cross between alien and alien goddess. It’s a rich creamy coconut vanilla jasmine and lasts much better than the original.

Cherry Bloom

Gorgeous dense vanilla. Just lovely

Kuty22

My second Mugler, I love it 😍
Not Angel Nova love, but I'm going to rock it when the weather gets a bit colder

russ0975

I expected better. This is just a pass for me. Sample it first!

Cynthia30

I got fruity Floral with a gourmandy coconut.
Crowd pleaser.
The dry down is kinda soapy like a designer perfume.
Not bad for the price.
Good dumb reach for any occasion.
Men will like this on a woman. Great first date scent.

PerfumePixie87

This is distinctly designer. A good option for those days you don’t want to smell niche or unusual. This is a flanker well done, as it does contain a flicker of the signature Alien jasmine. Combined with that suntan lotion feel from unctuous vanilla and creamy coconut. While it does have that beachy feel of a high summer scent, I think the sweetness would cut through colder weather, although I’m not sure the performance would.

If Alien had a baby with Guerlain’s Terracotta or Bronze Goddess from Estée Lauder, Alien Goddess Intense would be born. Super feminine, creamy and likeable. The only drawbacks are it feels a little young for me (a woman in my mid 30s) and I don’t find it to be especially long lasting, especially when compared with the original, pre-reformulated Alien which was eternal.

Parfymegal

Meh.. I love the original Alien, but this one is a pass for me. Probably because of the coconut.

shoujomarina

smelled gorgeous at the top but like within 2 minutes turns into donna born in roma

eelii

My gosh, this is a beauty! An enchanting jasmine grounded by some warm amber-y vanilla. Very feminine and intoxicating, I’m obsessed!

Great for the summer (although I think it might get cloying if oversprayed) but I think it will shine in the colder months as well, and I can’t wait to try it out then, too!

Longevity is very good, and sometimes it comes back to play after a while - just when you thought it was gone. Sillage is not enormous but I prefer it that way. It projects pretty well in the first hour or two (without filling a room, but enough to get you noticed), then it settles more close to the skin but it’s pretty detectable (especially if you spray a bit in your hair as well).

Plus, the 30ml bottle is so cute!

Jessiebaby

This perfume is just meh. It’s definitely got a tropical/dessert vibe to it but it’s nothing special and I wouldn’t purchase.

Ryanml29787

The jasmine tea in this one remind me about jasmine boba black tea xx

bajablast

Like a sweet dessert. Be warned, the jasmine may be sharp at the beginning, but after a few minutes, it settles into a delicious coconut milk rice pudding, with vanilla beans on top. Some days, I notice the jasmine tea note more. It's very realistic. So special. Much better to me than the original Alien. Sometimes I layer them to make Alien more wearable. I get about 4 hrs wear.

Phbe

I’m so obsessed with this!! It’s such a delicious mix of vanilla, jasmine and coconut. When I wear this I feel like I’m laying by the pool in the sun, or walking through a park eating a vanilla ice cream.

Lotte_Liese

The absence of heliotrope and a more intense take on coconut and vanilla have caused me to prefer this iteration to the OG Alien Goddess. Although it lacks that bit of powdery nuance in the normal version, this is rather beautiful (coming from an anti-fan of Alien).
It is wearable, not light on jasmine but I find that there is more balance between the jasmine note and coconut note in the intense version. Vanilla overpowers the coconut note in the dry down and it becomes a lightly sweet vanilla-jasmine white floral. You can just imagine how cosy this smells on clothing.
I do like the dry down, a lot actually, but still not enough to purchase a full bottle as it is very strong and the opening does not agree too much with me. I will revisit this decision in the winter.
Two or three sprays are enough. Longevity for me is superb and the scent cloud persists for the first few hours of wear.

pinotos802

I pick up this hidden unpleasant note which makes this fragrance smell like gasoline to me

Malka92

so so good. so strong and captivating. If you don't like loud, warm florals, then this isn't for you. But i love the obnoxiously "in-your-face" white florals with warmth of the other notes that make this so addicting and sexy. I can see this being just as sexy in the winter on a fluffy sweater as it is on sun kissed skin by the beach. so good.

bringprivateaccordback

received a mini bottle of this from a friend who didn't like it and this is very nice! it's not as heavy on coconut as plain AG is, which makes me believe this flanker will be more suitable for autumn/winter.

I'm not a fan of original Alien (too strong, gives me a headache + nausea) or jasmine/benzoin for that matter, but in this scent they're actually a nice touch. this isn't as strong as regular Alien, but the longevity is still very good as is the sillage. I'd recommend testing this a couple of times before buying since I can see this being too strong for some.

this is not as much of a vanillabomb as I hoped, but still a very pleasant mix or florals, spices and vanilla. later on I'll layer this with vanilla body cream and Sol De Janeiro 71 - I'll most certainly feel like a goddess then! ;)

edit: this just keeps getting better as the air gets colder. layering this with vanilla fragranced lotions or bodymists elevates this a lot for me.

lmnsvgz

A bit deeper and spicier than Alien Goddess. I smell coconut in both tbh. Better scents out there.

um4224

A gorgeous scent, my absolute favourite. It sticks to clothing for weeks, but to skin not as much... which is a shame. Perfect balance of coconut, benzoin, BOURBON vanilla and lovely hints of white flowers. I definitely prefer this over the normal alien however that is also lovely. This is a CREAMY, WARM scent, a buttery vanille with drops of rum.
It does not have that "candle vanilla/coconut" smell at all - I am very very picky on these scents and alien intense captures it so nicely. Just a shame it doesn't stick to my skin.

realitygreene

I love jasmine, I love amber, and I LOVE vanilla, but I just don't love this fragrance. It's pretty basic in everyway.

Sreza7

on first spray it’s a beautiful vanilla/coconut cream and jasmine opening but then as it dries down the woodyness comes out and this is when it starts reminding me of black opium. They are cousins not twins. This is really beautiful and I would consider this an all year scent, safe to wear in any weather.

Craytrans

way more complex then the original i like sunscreen scents time to time but this is way more then that.new love for summer, if you want a classy version of a sunscreen scent i would pick this over the Original

ArlissLux

goddess intense is an amber-foward, jasmine, vanilla, light coconut scent!
the coconut is barely noticeable-- and i love that!
some coconut fragrances (like the OG goddess) just reminds me of sunscreen :/

longevity is about 6 hours on me and as the day goes on, it becomes more of a skin scent. i think it may perform better during colder months and as a fall/winter person, i'm happy with that!

had to get myself the 1 oz bottle because it's cuter than the bigger bottles.
it reminds me of some type of transformation talisman/brooch xD
power rangers/VR troopers/sailor moon... YES I AM WEIRD but 90s babies get it LOL

betheljaviles

This version of Alien Goddess far surpasses the OG, which is more of a youthful coconut sunscreen scent, in my opinion. I love the deep, jasmine tea and floral opening--it's so calming and luxurious. This dries down into such a lovely, creamy bourbon vanilla that is suitable for even the warmer months. I absolutely love it!!! The overall performance and projectivity are pretty powerful as well, even after a day of sweating in humid weather.

Lauren_Loves_Perfume88

I blind bought AGI as I adore the original Alien Goddess so I *assumed* this would be a somewhat stronger version...it was not love at first sniff sadly. The Jasmine is the only thing I can smell for the first 15-20 minutes which smells very mature to me. The dry down is much nicer as it gets a little sweeter but imo it is not AT ALL similar to AG - AG and AGI are totally different. I don't smell any coconut at all either, and the vanilla is subtle. I think the jasmine overpowers all the other notes.

EDIT
Only a day later I am coming back to edit this review…I have worn it a few times since receiving it and it’s actually really beautiful. I’d say it’s a grown up, sexy, date night version of Alien Goddess. It definitely smells more like original Alien than Alien Goddess so if you love the OG you’ll love this! I sprayed this on a jumper I have draped on the back of my office chair and I can still smell it a few days later - beautiful deep vanilla. 10000% backup bottle worthy. I definitely jumped the gun with my original review! give it a few days and it just gets better

brandybasisty

This one initially smelled like basic brown sugar body spray, and I only started noticing other notes after a few wears. Now I get a lot of bright fruit with caramel in the opening- the fruit has a green vibe because it's a little sharp smelling like an underripe but juicy guava with a bit of spice like pink pepper. This part reminds me of Tiziana Terenzi's Kirke, but thankfully less intense because Kirke gave me headaches. I don't get any jasmine or tea that people mention, but the Alien DNA is recognizable in the vanilla, amber, and cashmeran in the base. As the fragrance settles, I get a salted vanilla with a bit of beachy coconut. The fruity accord stays fresh, keeps the drydown from smelling flat like suntan lotion and pushes the scent off my skin- perhaps what I'm smelling is the "jasmine tea"? . This stage last several hours and I keep getting delicious wafts. I think I get around 6 hours of wear, but maybe she'll last longer as the fragrance matures in the bottle. A serious contender as my favorite beachy fragrance, and that includes TF Soleil Blanc. They are not the same though- Soleil Blanc has a more expensive beach lotion + coconut cream vibe and Goddess Intense is more salted suntanned skin + tropical fruit.
Edit July 21: It's now gone back to Brown Sugar Body Spray from B&BW, what the heck
Edit Aug.8: I'm on decant #2 and can now smell the indolic jasmine. The nose is a funny thing!

Sreza7

Creamy coconut, woody vanilla and jasmine heavy. Really pretty!

Moonshine_Strawberries

This is by far the most legit Alien Flanker, given that it’s still primarily a cashmeran and white floral scent. Both the vanilla and the coconut are pretty muted and well blended in this and I appreciate that a lot. However, there’s something about this particular coconut that I really don’t like after maybe the first hour, and it stays on the skin for a very long time.

If anyone wants my sample I’d send it for only the cost of shipping.

Ahump55

I love the original, and I love the intense. But they aren’t the same. The Jasmine is much stronger in this. The fragrance is more of a statement. It’s beautiful. I get about 5 hrs worth of wear with it too.

Autumn_Moon

Having tested both Alien Goddess and Alien Goddess Intense, I have to conclude that yes -- they are quite different!

Alien Goddess Intense leads with a rich, heavy, slightly indolic jasmine note. (It wasn't *quite* as carnal as Lush's Lust, but it was definitely "that" type of jasmine. The opening notes were attention-getting, to be sure.) This marks a distinct departure from Alien Goddess; AG was mainly about vanilla bourbon and coconut water, to my nose. AG Intense didn't really feel like a coconut-forward scent to me, nor did I detect bergamot; it seemed to focus squarely on jasmine and the vanilla bourbon that I could catch whiffs of in the background. Had the opening lasted longer, I might have been tempted to buy it on the spot!

Alas, I discovered that the projection and longevity of this fragrance left much to be desired. AGI felt fairly strong during the first hour of wear... after that, though, it became more of a skin scent. The rich jasmine note faded quickly; even the vanilla seemed to struggle to stay on my skin. The entire experience, "skin scent time" included, lasted about 4 hours.

I'm willing to continue to experiment with AGI, as I really do appreciate the fragrance (thus far, it's the Alien that suits me best), but until I find a way to prolong its wear time, I'm not likely to invest in a full bottle. I might be inclined to buy a travel spray, though, if one exists...

drugstore classics

Rich, sweet, likeable. There is a bourbon vanilla element here that Goddess the original lacks, with what smells like berries.... I personally don't like berries very much but enjoy vanilla based, balsamic scent immensely. So it's a toss up! But a very enjoyable fragrance.. Despite the lovely bottle, reminding me of layered vanilla/coconut body spray and a (good) celebrity scent. ;)

Likilichi

This perfume is my soulmate.

Upward_Falling

LOVELY!

I wasn't the biggest fan of this on first wear. It just smelled woody. I couldn't detect coconut or even jasmine. It just smelled of cashmere wood with a hint of fleeting vanilla. However, I have learned that fragrances most times take more than one wear to fully experience them.

So it was on my second wear that I picked up on ALL the notes and really got to experience the magic of Alien Goddess Intense. What a gem! It's well-balanced and smooth. I wore it in 80 degree weather and think this would be beautiful all year round. It's soft and warm, perfect for cozy days wearing flannels and fuzzy socks, but also sunny and inviting for warm spring and summer days spent outdoors in the sunshine. It transforms itself lending to the weather - how cool is that!?

A very versatile perfume that makes me feel put together and a little like a trust fund baby :) One that likes to spend my days in leisure - out in the sunshine having fun during the day and sitting by the fireplace with a blanket on my legs at night.
I love it!

Update 7/15/23: this has become one of the most complimented frags in my collection. Everywhere I go someone is asking what I'm wearing and saying how wonderful this smells. So glad I purchased the refillable bottle because this one will always be on tap for me 😁

katiesimpsonhair

This is sweet and syrupy with a boozy vanilla base pretty much the same as Elie Saab girl of now edp. It’s warm and spicy and very sweet giving a thick pudding like smell. Ideal for autumn winter and evenings.

fyre92

This is a coconut perfume not a vanilla one. Absolutely no relation to regular alien or essence absolute. It reeeeaaaallllyyy gives me Tom ford orchid soleil without the hazelnut with slightly different flowers.

vibrant.girl

AG Intense is what I expected AG to be - a coconutty version of Alien. Honestly, this one bridges perfectly between the two. Where Goddess doesn't feel related to the OG because it has so little of the signature jasmine, AG Intense brings the jasmine back *with* the creamy bourbon vanilla of Goddess. It's a 10/10 for me - it performs well (nothing now is as 'beast mode' as it was in the 90s...) and makes me happy. I highly recommend sampling, since the reviews are all over the place!

perfuMEOWW

I ALMOST GOT THIS, SO GLAD I DIDN'T!

I considered getting this for more than 2 months, went to the counter, tried many times on my skin, on different days too making sure I like it all the way from opening-dry down. It's alluring coz of the warmth from benzoin, creamy coconut, but definitely more jasmine (which I like).

There's just something I don't like that's not smooth and I couldn't put my finger on it, this smells like a fancy sunscreen! Not in a bad way though. This smells like my own skin at the beach after sunbathing so I realised, I don't need this! But yes it'll make you smell like a goddess at the beach, but only if someone comes very close to sniff you. Other than the beach, I can't see myself wearing this anywhere else, it reminds me too much of how I smell after spending a long time under the sun, I'd much prefer to wear something else for daily/etc.

fleurtje0

I love this scent, it’s a lovely luscious vanilla and summer vibes through and through. The coconut is not very prominent though sadly. And for an intense formulation I find the longevity and sillage a bit disappointing. But I still recommend giving this a smell if you might be interested, especially if you like bergamot, jasmine, benzoin and vanilla.

fyre92

This is ORCHID SOLEIL WITHOUT HAZELNUT 😳
Drops of alien jasmine sprinkled in.
If you didn’t like orchid soleil get this

Controlledbyscent31

My scent of my vacation Summer 2023 have just purchased it after falling in love with it last year when released. I was torn between this and soleil blanc tf,
This won!
She is a beast, which I personally love, when your constantly layering your body with suncream this is just perfect to stand out and over shadow the smell of that.
Soleil blanc just blended in too much.
Great memories of beach, cocktails and sun.
My husband said its more mature smelling than I usually wear and I can get what he means by that but still I am 32, kind of have my life together 😛 so I think I can pull this off.

marmalady

I've been wearing this for the past week after getting a 30ml spray on Mercari for a good price. It's only upon coming here to it's fragrance page that I am realizing that it's supposed to have a coconut note; I don't smell any coconut whatsoever. There's a coconut feel or texture in the creaminess of it, but I don't detect an actual coconut note. I do smell jasmine (of the Alien variety), bergamot, vanilla, and benzoin. I have really been enjoying this much which slightly surprises me. Then again maybe it shouldn't be surprised as those are all notes that I love in Shalimar, and in fact in the far dry down I caught a whiff of the bergamot and vanilla that really reminded me of the far dry down in Shalimar (edt or Philtre.) No this doesn't smell like Shalimar, but if you like the jasmine vanilla combo in Shalimar but not the more challenging notes in it, you may like this. This perfume is potent like all Muglers, so I do 1-2 sprays at the belly button, so it doesn't suffocate me. If you spray this on your neck/ chest you might be disgusted by this, it's just not for that type of application. Stick to spraying it at your belly or back of knees, back, etc or do a walk through to more widely disperse it. This is a fun and yummy scent to me that is just nice to wear when you want to just smell good.

Adjr1087

Ambery Jasmine overdose. I hate it. I do not get coconut or tropical summer vibes out of this... But I believe I hate jasmine in general. So if you like jasmine, you may enjoy this one.

AlaskanAngel

This is the first fragrence from the Alien line that I can't even wear. It's positively piercing. Headache, toothache, jaw clenching. And I wear the OG Alien do I know about bold scents. This is just thick jasmine drowning in a sticky, syrupy, synthetic swamp of amber sadness.

At least with Alien Goddess I can layer with Alien to use it up. This Intense version is just going to continue sitting next to all the other Mugler crystals in my collection and be completely neglected as I can't find the will to ever try it again. The experience of wearing it is literally painful.

mben086

AGI has strong initial opening but lasting power is terrible! Not even 30 minutes and I finished a 30ml bottle within a week!

Secret recipe:
Sacrifice by ajmal (similar to OG alien) + kayali utopia = AGI but way better perfoming!! Thank me later

Update: this only projects in HOT weather

Update: performs better after macerating few months

xorosexo

I picked up a tester of this from Sephora a while back, sprayed it on paper when I got home and it was an immediate no. Threw the rest of the tester in my drawer and moved on. Had nothing to do today so I pulled it back out on a whim and sprayed it on my skin figuring I could scrub it off if needed. I seriously have not been able to stop smelling my wrist since this afternoon! This is so comforting, addictive and sexy all at the same time and I'm purchasing a FB ASAP. If you spray this on paper and are on the fence, try it on your skin, the difference is night and day.

mvddies

Smelled this on a friend, it's a fairly straight-up coconut and vanilla scent. Super sweet, creamy and yummy I love it

LittleMissBlasian

Once we get past the jasmine opening it becomes so sexy and sultry 😭

brightsun2205

The scent from Mugler's Alien Goddess reminds me of the Vietnamese Pandan Jelly dessert.

Thanks to this note from Jasmine, the creamy combination of vanilla, benzoin and coconut notes aren't so overpowering and makes it subtle.

This fragrance is wearable all year round, especially living in Australia.

silthrill

Alien (the original) was my signature scent for a number of years. I was looking for a tropical fragrance and thought this might be a good option. Unfortunately the vanilla overdose make it cloying and unoriginal. This would have had great potential without the vanilla.

risarii

I tried this today despite not being a huge fan of the regular Alien Goddess (the coconut is too VS body spray for me) and I actually really like it. It’s better blended and more bold— almost like this is how it was intended to be and the original AG was just put out as a preview.
I don’t like this whole “Intense/Elixir/Supreme” flanker trend designer houses are doing now but I do see this as an improvement upon the original. Now, watch them discontinue this 🙃

nonijan

I tried this on paper today and it smelled like pure coconut cream. I'm regretting not trying it on skin now but I didn't smell anything floral and was put off.

Controlledbyscent31

I just have to have this I can't wait to buy it for my upcoming vacation that fluffy, coconut and vanilla jasmine is to die for it smells like a holidays sipping on pina coladas in the sunshine just imagine it will pair amazing with salty skin.
I was testing jlo glow on the left wrist and this on my right and this is just what I was looking for I thought jlo was gonna be summer in a bottle but this wins me over 🥰

Linnsim

A very addictive vanilla-jasmine-coconut scent. I’m a huge jasmine lover but not the type of indolic jasmine like in the Alien OG. In the Goddess Intense you get a more creamy jasmine, I get the coconut, vanilla and benzoin. Perfect for all year round but best in summer. I’ve tried many with this DNA but for now my top picks are Guerlain Terracotta and Alien Goddess Intense. Really beautiful scent and very safe, I wear this when I want to smell good and don’t want to smell “niche”

Catmo

I get mostly jasmine in this- similar to the original Alien. If you don’t like Alien then you won’t like this. Lots of the reviews talk about coconut, vanilla and it being beachy. It’s none of those things to me. I get zero coconut and very little vanilla. Basically just the regular Alien with a twist. I don’t hate the regular Alien but I also don’t love it.

Zoeanne

A lovely warm but versatile scent. It is reminiscent of both a sunny day in a beautiful garden and of snuggling in a cosy blanket in a freshly cleaned room. The jasmine is very similar to the original alien but with a slightly fresher note due to the tea and bergamot. The coconut, benzoin, cashmere combination is just delicious, it's fresh but also deep and cosy. You could wear this all year round and it's definitely in the running for being my signature scent as I think I like it more than the original alien.

gospogjicata

I recently got this perfume and wore it in the colder winter months and the warmer spring days as well. It is a good all-year-round scent, which can be worn on every occasion, perfect signature scent according to me. It has good longevity, sillage, and projection, and it is not that much overwhelming (as the OG Alien can be sometimes).

Regarding the scent, this is a creamy mixture of jasmine, vanilla, and coconut. The jasmine is similar to the one in the OG Alien, and the coconut & vanilla is a similar mixture of the OG Alien Goddess perfume. In my opinion it is the best of both worlds. It reminds me of both perfumes, and it is way better than the both of them (I own Alien Goddess, Alien edt and I have sampled Alien edp multiple times). It is a soft blend of the notes described above, and you can feel the warmth when you spray this on your skin.

In my opinion this is not a safe blind buy and it is not everyones cup of tea, but I love this scent, and I am already half the bottle. Gonna repurchase this for sure.

Bottle: 8/10
Longevity, sillage, projection: 9/10
Scent: 10/10

ap528

Sooooo much better than the regular Alien Goddess, and I actually find the 2 to be very different from one another. The regular Goddess smells cheap, like and just like Softsoap's body wash - shea butter and almond oil. While the Intense version actually have all the promised and listed notes. Very beautiful, soft, creamy and just an amazing fragrance! If you disliked the regular Alien Goddess, you will really appreciate this!

Nora805

The minute I smell coconut tanning oil. I run away. I love it by the pool but not in a perfume. With that said. I love this version. It must be the bergamot and benzoin that keeps it from going too far to tanning oil. Reminds me of Viva La Juicy original. For an intense version it is very light except for the color of the juice. It stained my white tshirt. Hopefully the stain comes out.

zefragrancec

the most long lasting coconut-vanilla ive ever tried!!

Halucynacja

I agree with the review added below by Rach2star - I've blind bought this perfume and I'm so disappointed - it smells much weaker than the Alien Goddess. This has no intensity whatsoever, it smells light and soapy, even lighter than Goddess. This for sure is not a fake one, I purchased it from Sephora.

ingrid.superstar

Coconut, jasmine sticky-rice! Or like a fantasy in which the best qualities of tanning oil (rich, warm, sweet coconut) and sunscreen (fleshy white florals) are combined. I would not wear original Alien, but I have tested it several times, and deep into the dry-down there are bitter woods that I dislike. In spite of this, the stamp of Alien is firmly planted on Alien Goddess Intense, but I don’t mind the resemblance — I like it.

After sampling a bunch of photorealistic sunscreen scents, I realized what I was looking for in a beachy scent was really a playful, tropical vibe, not sunscreen as such. This fits the bill. To me, this fragrance is all about warmth: warm skin, toasted coconut, rich vanilla, solar radiance. It is somehow pleasantly heady and frothy at once, and very feminine. The scent bubble it creates smells like a breathy, musky jasmine sambac with banana’s creaminess and ylang-ylang’s balminess present. Madagascar vanilla whipped cream also comes to mind. Late into the drydown, cozy vanilla and cashmeran are still smoldering.

HannahRosesAreRed

I shared my thoughts on "Alien Goddess," which, while sweet and fun, was perhaps too sweet and shallow and safe–and despite the white floral notes, a far cry from Mugler's original "Alien." So far a cry in fact, that it almost didn't feel like a real Mugler. However, I consider it a decent "training wheels" kind of fragrance, a sweet vanilla-coconut concoction for those just getting used to perfume.

"Alien Goddess Intense," however, is an improvement, at least to my taste. If "Alien Goddess" is the training wheels stage of perfume, then "Alien Goddess Intense" is the first step to taking the extra wheels off. It's a happy midpoint between the original "Alien" and "Alien Goddess," and thus much truer to the Mugler brand. It's a warm, dusky combination of vanilla, coconut, white floral and warm benzoin–though it reads more as amber to my senses. However, the scent profile comes across as deeper and more mature than "Alien Goddess." There is a hint of the mineral, metallic jasmine of the OG "Alien."

I think the addition of jasmine tea as a heart note makes all the difference. There's a mild herbal quality to this perfume that tones down the sugary sweetness of the vanilla and coconut. It also makes this fragrance a lot more versatile–I can see this being used for all seasons and transitioning from day to night, though I would personally use this for fall and winter. I compare "Alien Goddess Intense" to a more mature and rounded version of Bath and Body Works' "Warm Vanilla Sugar" from the 90s. While I don't normally use "Alien," I might just be tempted to add this to my rotation for the cooler months.

HaileyAppleKins

Can't lie I tried this perfume because of the name and the woman on the advertisement...I love it though and so do my parents it's very Beachy to me but I have to be in a certain mood to wear it.

Dfineapple88

Ok I love this, it smells like the beach cashmere coconuts but more feminine and not so sunscreen-ish. I don’t really like the straight up sunscreen perfumes. Like I can smell the sunscreen in this one but it’s likeable and feminine idk how to explain it 😂 I’d wear this any time of the year I can see it being worn in the cold and on the beach.

Kotikina

So, it seems that the creators heard our 'No Alien DNA detected' and 'this is weak' when Alien Goddess got released. They acted upon it and created a much better version - Alien Goddess Intense. After all the reformulations of OG Alien, there are only two Aliens worth having: Alien Goddess Intense and Alien Fusion (probably even better).

What I like about this one (apart from very detectable Alien DNA) is how non-linear it is, at least on my skin. One minute is jasmine, then it is vanillic jasmine tea, then there is coconut. It is also very versatile, and if I was to choose just one season for it, I would say summer nights, but I believe it could be worn any season.
Compliment getter with an outstanding performance.

beautiful jasmine perfume, i did pick up a lot more vanilla in store, which confused me initially, but it has really grown on me. i saw this on a friend's vanity and it's been a dream purchase for me ever since!

AnneKirby

Creamy and dense coconut vanilla scent backed by the same beautiful sensual jasmine as in the original Alien. Good for any weather, though it has major tropical vibes with the dominant sweet coconut scent. Doesn't smell like sunscreen, it's just a sweet likeable ambery and more intense take on the original Alien goddess. It has the same salty vanilla vibes as Olympea by Paco Rabanne and the dense vanilla heart sometimes reminds me of YSL Black Opium. Performance is a decent 5h with moderate projection. The dry down is disappointing though : generic synthetic sweetness. Would have been a love if it wasn't for the dry down.

Make a

Yummy….I love this! It’s very sexy! It reminds me a bit of Manifesto L’elixir (Ysl)! I get complimented all the time on how good I smell!

Tony Shades

Very sexy mature seductress version of the first playful girly beachy Goddess. It's actually closer to the original Alien, inheriting only a few elements of the previous one. I would skip the initial Goddess and go straight for the Intense flanker.

Rach2star

What a let down as I love the original Goddess perfume, it was the opposite to intense. All I got was a cheap soapy smell 😔
I seen alot of great reviews on this one so definitely worth a try but I prefer the original and the floral one

Kucemi

it starts with the signature Alien jasmine scent with a sensual twist, only to be quickly transformed into a creamy mixture of vanilla and coconut. The jasmine stays there, lingering around in the background. After around half an hour in, the creamy vanilla with coconut start to be pushed back and the jasmine starts taking over again but in a more sensual mysterious way than at the beginning. It is a nice blend of gourmand/coconut/floral scents. There is also something dark to it which makes it resemble a little the YSL Black Opium, but only if you concentrate on that dark note.
Edit: around 90 mins in, it turns into a skin scent, you only get random vanilla-leaning jasmine whiffs of this and only when you get really close to the place of spraying, quite a disappointment!

Elfin Will

I always have an immediate crush when a fragrance contains Cashmere Wood and Vanilla. And now enhanced by the sweetness of Coconut, and the creamy Jasmine... A killer! The Benjoin comes to give an oriental amber side to the perfume, which makes it even more seductive...WOW!

I tested it on my wrist before going to bed, and the smell accompanied me all night long; I often got up bewitched by this beautiful scent.

While testing it, I directly thought of "The Only One Intense" and "Olympea". No surprise, Jasmine, Vanilla, Coconut and Cashmere are present in all 3. However, Alien Goddess Intense is a little more overdosed in Jasmine and more ambery (because of the Benjoin); It is therefore more oriental.

Note that I hate the original Alien, it's very heady and nauseous to me, but fortunately, Alien Goddess has no resemblance to it (very minimal at least). It is much better worked! HOWEVER, sometimes I do get some OG Alien vibes, and sometimes a very synthetic feel, so I am still unsure if I'd ever consider bying it.

8.5/10

AkaNeri

It's creamier on my skin than Alien Goddess and richer, and deeper, but what's more important - it's not as salty on me. I'm not sure what gives that saltiness in Alien Goddess, but it presents there. I prefer Intense, though it's not as vannilic as I'd like

memorialea

Really wanted to like it but gives me a headache. The scent is difficult to get rid of too.

Brokenose

I have mixed feelings about this one. I like the original Goddess but not love, because it has a play doh feel that bothers me a little.
This one, doesn’t have that and is a bit deeper and night time. It is closer to Alien the Original but still very far away.
Paradoxically, it smells more generic to my nose than the original Goddess. It reminds me of Black Opium.
Still a nice fragrance.

LMD

This is a nice jasmine and vanilla combo, nicely done and blended. It could be headachey if you overspray and it smells a bit sickly next day on clothes. But I did enjoy wearing it, and reapplied when it faded. I like it but it's not a wow so far. Will enjoy using the rest of my decant but don't think I'd look to get a full bottle afterwards. I think it would be too much in hot weather but suitable for everything else.

RobynCrabtree

Such a beautiful, warm, cozy amber! This is a very huggable/snuggly, comforting scent to me. It is refined and well-blended, with the jasmine really flourishing - my favorite Alien by far. I would classify this as more pretty/beautiful over sexy, but it's still quite alluring. I expect it will be a bit too much in the Alabama summertime, but otherwise has potential to be all weather, all time of day scent.

Quest1107

I love the intense! This is what I imagined the OG would smell like. Beautiful jasmine

East River Pearl

Warm, powdery amber vanilla florals. I get hints of Goddess but it doesn't have the same suntan lotion vibe. Pleasant for a winter scent though nothing game changing. It reads a little more mature/older than I am looking for personally but it's a very cozy scent.

Caseystewart64

This is beautiful, I feel like people’s expectations are too high.. this is a designer fragrance made my L’Oréal (we all know how they absolutely butchered Mugler fragrances) this scent to me, in my opinion is sexy warm summery (but can absolutely still be warn in the colder months if you want too) i can smell the creamy coconut the jasmine that we all love and adore in alien and the warm vanilla and cashmere in the base. I think the performance is fine it’s nothing CRAZY but I’m not mad at how long it lasts (or the silage) Id say your absolutely getting 4 hours out of this, after that it will be lingering on clothes and as a close skin scent… if you like alien and you liked alien goddess there’s no way that this perfume would be a disappointment because it’s the alien goddess we all expected and wanted in the first place! Try it out it’s sexy warm and fun :)

stephanienwc

Argh why do Designers keep coming out with variations of the same fragrance?! I guess it's more profitable to make a perfume out of a crowd-pleasing, tried and tested DNA and slap a well-known name on it than to do something more creative and risky.

As for the scent itself - it's quite nice but if you have any other white floral-ambery perfume, you really don't need this one. Also, the sillage is disappointing.

Pashmina95

Generic, quite synthetic, but well balanced enough. I regret a more audacious positioning from the nose/brand. For exemple to amplify a note like jasmine tea, sweetened with the coco milk of the original A. Goddess would be far more interesting and intriguing. L’Oreal again does’nt take any risk or bias, and that is sad. Because before Mugler sold its soul, almost every release was an extravagant surprise!

mirrorghost

i am not a fan of alien but i got a free sample of this and wanted to try it hoping it might work better. i get something familiar from original alien along with a a ton of benzoin and coconut that gets sweet and plasticky smelling. i get florals but this is so far from anywhere near a realistic jasmine that i do not understand why you would call it jasmine. it doesn't seem to give me a headache like the original but is also not pleasant to wear either. smells like florals made in a lab and plastic dolls. i don't get it. maybe i'm too old, but thankfully so i guess.

Latetothescene

Hmmm....This is a first impression on skin. Ample sprays. I hate it. Not even a little. It's not because it is a bad alien flanker, it's just bad. To my nose it smells cheap, very Screechy, way too sweet and nausiating. I don't know what was worst. The opening or drydown. There is a note or notes in this that is just off. It smells like a solvent. I actually Prefer original goddess over this. Atleast that one was tolerable. Way too sweet and synthetic but atleast it wasn't muddled with a stinky chemical note. This was just something they use to clean barrels used for paint or something. If anyone has any idea what i'm smelling please do share. Thanks 😉

MademoiselleMaya

Well, this is what churning out pre-planned money grabbers does to a reputation of a brand.
This is what employing & giving executive power to middling intellect that studied economics or marketing just to be a student does to art forms.
Turns everything into a laughingstock.
I cannot be more liberal or kinder and yet this offended even me.
First offence: they abused, the one of the kind, Alien reputation by creating something forgetable.
Second offence: they added Goddess to the name and created bleak and unoriginal follower of some Olympea-sparkled trend. To name it Goddess is like spitting in the face of a sacred concept
Third offence: they churned out an "Intense" version of it, not even giving the Alien Goddess any time to sink into public consciousness - this must be the doing of useless marketing people and their deadlines, soulless numbers and stupid, unoriginal ideas stolen from others.
Fourth offence: it is bad.
Fifth offence: it smells cheap, I suspect production of white soap bar is more expensive.
Sixth offence: it does not even smell different to the first Alien Goddess
Seventh offence: it is weak, not intense.

The scent on itself is not disgusting - it's a bit of bergamot, some bleak jasmin tea, some coconutty facet, a bit of sweet vanilla.
It's however impotent, unoriginal, forgettable, bleak, weak, does not project or last.
It also makes close to no impression, apart from first spray. It is stealing from other(better) scents the time, sure initial impression "oh, this new Mugles in golden Alien bottle seems pretty nice". Now, let's look at that reaction - it is a testimony that it parasites on Alien bottle shape, colour of gold and Mugler name to win time it does not deserve from some consumer. Half hour later - and I experience chemical dust and desintegration of the formula... Some "noses" signed it with their name? Must have been hating the employer then.. or the reorganization of their work.

Only the most unsophisticated consumer types will enjoy it, though even they surely know a more interesting deodorant, toilet spray, soap or laundry detergent...

After 3 hours jasmin tea starts to dominate -and this thing turns bearable.
This scent turns into Alien Eau Extraordinaire, if someone is interested in this phase. Seems like they added a drop of it to this abomination. Was it selling poorly?

If someone wants the beach type scent - there are now countless of them: Olympea and its siblings (this awful scent is twin to Olympea Solar) , Beach Walk by Margiela, Holiday by Mancera and its twin Coco Vanille by Mancera, Bvlgari Goldea etc. Each much better.

Total waste of time & money.

cocodust

I got a tester with alien goddess. It is denser, heavier and more vanilla than OG- has more in common with my alien essence absolute. I also feel more of a play doh and unisex note, which isn’t as pretty for me. The lightness and effervescent and more happy feel of OG alien goddess is preferable to me.

Edemay

smells so cheap and doesn't last
I've tried this twice in attempts to appreciate it but no

if you want a nice coconut scent go for coco vanille by mancera instead

this honestly smells like a $5 fake of black opium you'd find at a random chemist

NDL

Bought this when it first came out and it was an instant love for me. However I have also purchased more perfumes since and haven’t used this one much.

Just sprayed it today and oh my goodness. The scent has become richer and more intoxicating. I don’t really get the coconut anymore but it still has that liqueur vibe to it. The creamy base with slightly spicy woods and a background of jasmine/florals shine. I flipped my bottle upside down to look at the juice and it has darkened to a very dark brown juice. It was more of a dark golden colour when I first got it.

I’m glad I came back to this one after it’s had months to sit as the scent has deepened and it’s even more intoxicating than when I first got it I’m in love again!

Dee97

This is a more tolerable version of the original alien to me, but I still wouldn’t purchase it. Just not my kind of scent.

YourFragranceFriend

This intense version of Alien Goddess stood out as different enough from the original for most people to choose a preferred version. The intense takes that creamy coconut and vanilla jasmine scent and amps up the florals. I noticed that it was distinctly more floral and less creamy than Alien Goddess. Because of that, I don't enjoy it as much, but I think it's more cold weather appropriate. I got good longevity as I could smell it on me at night when I applied in the morning. You'll probably only need one or the other unless it's your signature scent and you're looking for a more cold weather version.

ChocoLei

It's pretty. But it's not as provoking as Angel, Alien or Aura.

It's more faithful to the original Alien's DNA contrarily to the first Alien Goddess--- the opening is a beautiful, powerful but fresh coconutty jasmine. But as the frag progresses to the bottom of the pyramid, the loud jasmine bouquet gets quieter (maybe for the better ?).

The jasmine tea accord adds freshness to the mix. If you're unfamiliar with Alien's jasmine, it's not green nor innocent-smelling-- it feels a tad bit synthetic but not in a bad way imo--- more like a futuristic, fantasy-like approach to jasmine, I would say ? I may be influenced by the whole extraterrestrial imagery....

Personally, I would still recognize it as the Alien DNA at this stage, if I were to smell this on someone. But I feel like this flanker would feel incomplete for an absolute Alien fan. I'm an Aura & Angel girl but I've always been sensitive to Alien's magic. I don't feel it in neither of the 2 Alien Goddess.

However, if you enjoy Alien but feel like it's too overwhelming and headache-inducing, Alien Goddess Intense is the best, lighter alternative in my opinion. I don't feel like the coconut makes it only suitable for summer--- this could easily be an all year-round scent. On the other hand, the 1st Alien Goddess is a disappointment if you're in for the jasmine. It's waaaaay in the back.

Fuegogo

Sprayed two sprays on my neck earlier while in a perfume store. Got an intense blast of jasmine which reminded me of the OG Alien. Later it went nice and vanilla-y. I’ve been wearing this about 3 hours and now can barely smell it. It’s nice but there are other Alien flankers that I have that are much more special (and they last longer).

Nicyoung

To me, it smells a lot like black opium, I am so surprised no one else has mentioned this

scent.2go

I love this one! And I dont think this is sunscreen scent. Alien goddess is sunscreen scent but intense is heavier, richer. Im not sure if it will be good for hot summer day(did not try yet) but for sure is great for winter! So warm and cosy. Beautiful jasmin with coconut and little bit of vanilla.

sunflowergirl

Rarely does a fragrance proceed seamlessly through its three phases - tropical (coconut) floral, white floral, floral vanilla. It is a transportive fragrance to wear now in winter (to the tropics), and should function equally well as a beachy summertime scent. I'm not a fan of screechy white florals, and while Alien Goddess Intense teeters precariously on the edge of screech, the coconut, vanilla and woods temper it nicely. While reminding me of Goutal's Songes and Guerlain's Terracotta Le Parfum, I find that Alien Goddess Intense avoids the pitfalls of each. Wearably well done!

chyan

Goddess Intense smells kind of like a sweet jasmine vanilla latte - you can def smell the original Alien DNA, but it's way toned down and the ambery vanilla brings it into this super warm and comforting space that I don't get from other Alien flankers.

This is way better than the more generic suntan/coconut original Goddess. But I also see clearly why some people still think this scent is boring. Nothing groundbreaking here, just a nice and safe wearable vanilla with a burst of jasmine, maybe a little synthetic smelling, but that's not unusual for Mugler. It takes awhile to settle in and gets better as it matures on your skin. The jasmine is a little sharp at first but dries down to a very delicious vanilla in short order with jasmine working in the background from there. There is the slightest hint of something dirty also, maybe the benzoin. It lasts for hours, has a very pleasant scent bubble that is noticeable but not overbearing, and the next day you can still smell the caramelly vanilla on your skin.

My kids randomly bought this for me for Christmas, we have been traveling, and I didn't bring any perfume with me, so I have been wearing this pretty much daily the past 2 weeks even when I didn't really want to, and have been really enjoying it as each day progresses, never really getting tired of it or regretting having sprayed it which is a surprise for me as I am very moody with my scents.

This is an easy choice for anything - date night, lunch, work/office. Inoffensive and reserved, appropriate for many ages.

Denu

To me this is a lovely combination of creamy coconut in the opening, settling into a pleasing jasmine, tea and vanilla scent. It takes a while to warm up on my skin - with 4 light sprays on wrists and neck it was projecting at arms length this morning but not overpowering. After a couple of hours it seemed to re-awaken and I was getting lovely whiffs of jasmine and vanilla as I walked around - it created a lovely scent bubble.

Now 4 hours in it’s more muted but still detectable. Having worn this a couple of times now, I think on my skin I’d need to overspray to get strong projection and longevity.

I really enjoy wearing this - it’s comforting and soothing.

gambito

I read a lot of hype about this perfume but I was unfortunately let down. I'm not sure if it was my own fault misinterpreting reviews but I did not get the scent I was expecting.

This is a sunscreen scent on me. Slightly deeper with that Alien jasmine bomb compared to a Soleil Blanc, but overall when I wear it I feel like I spritzed on something of that ilk.

I don't get any vanilla from this which is what I was hoping for from other reviews. Also find the performance unimpressive for a Mugler scent.

I will use up my travel size bottle but I won't repurchase. Beware if you're not looking for a sunscreen scent!

kyrakirana77

Warm and rich ambery jasmine + vanilla perfume. But not overpowering
A hint of spiciness and creamy coconut in background
Lasted max 9 hours on skin
It projects really well for 2 hours
And the sillage is around arm length
Somehow, it's kinda giving me kinda YSL Libre vibe
(minus the orange note)
I would prefer this over j'adore

mizz_g0at

This is far more jasmine than it is vanilla, and even on dry down it didn't really warm up or settle down. Definitely a perfume for those that like white florals.

Khelish

this is THE jasmine scent for me. it's my jasmine perfume. i loved alien goddess and i was rationing out my little sample when i went to macy's and got a whiff of this - it is everything i love about goddess but....even better. it's a creamy jasmine. while i love alien goddess, i did wish it had more jasmine. et voila ... here we have alien goddess intense. i kind of sense the coconut, but much like goddess it doesn't come off "beachy" to me. i gave goddess a pretty glowing review on here, and for me this scent has that one beat. this is exactly the jasmine i'd been looking for.

delyci789

I am a vanilla fragrance lover, and this is one of my favorites so far. It does not smell buttery at all, its a crisp fresh jasmine vanilla. I do not like the OG Alien or any other Mugler fragrances but I really like this one! It weirdly works for all seasons due to the coconut/bergamot note being perfect for warm weather, whilst the vanilla/amber is perfect for the cooler weather.

If you have YSL Libre, you probably do not need Alien Goddess Intense as they read very similar on my skin. However, if you're deciding between Libre and Alien Goddess Intense, and you gravitate towards sweeter/sexier fragrances i would go with this one!

I have received many compliments on it already and I only got it for Christmas! This is an attention getting fragrance, but it is not unpleasant or too much at all!

I recommend the Intense version over the regular Alien Goddess as there is def more complexity to the notes and it lasts much longer w/ better silage.

violeteme

On my wrist and on the blotters nearby I have three newer vanilla centered fragrances of the popular market - Alien Goddess Intense, YSL Libre Le Parfum, Prada Paradoxe. They all seem similar to my nose - very warm, sweet, dense like honeyed and addictive. Some sort of citrus, white floral, vanilla and something reminiscent of amber/warm spices/resins. This note profile is, I think, the new generation of gourmands, changing the popular species, which long stood the ground, La Vie Est Belle and alikes.

First of all, I have to mention I much prefer Alien Goddess Intense version, as Alien Goddess is just a beachy, coconuty perfume, similar to Lancome Tresor Nude. Very different from this one. The Goddess Intense version smells like a mellowed down Libre Le Parfum. I think, could probably suit to people who are after that category of warm, sweet perfumes, but find Libre Le Parfum too much. That one has enormous silage and performance overall. Paradoxe on the other hand smells brightest and almost freshest. I suggest, if you like one of these, try the others, also Valentino's Voce Viva, and decide for yourself.

Alien Goddess Intense also has a minuscule animalic tone, something like indoles, I can definitely sense that same exact jasmine as in Alien. Goddess Intense is, ironically, a much lighter version of Alien EDP in the violet bottle. It smells somehow round, almost linear and sort of calm in comparison to Voce Viva.

wyrdlam

The opening is soft and flowery, almost powdery. It’s jasmine forward, and I like that the coconut isn’t really noticeable but adds a nice creaminess.

After an hour, the vanilla breaks through, which is my favorite part. I adore that vanilla dry down; it smells so heavenly—very warm and delicious. However, the longevity is on the weaker side, lasting maybe 4 hours.

Overall, I’m really tempted to get a full bottle, especially for that yummy vanilla. Alien Goddess Intense has the depth that I’ve been wanting in Alien, but I’m still on the fence. I recommend you give it a try if you enjoy jasmine and vanilla.

raycyj

smells EXACTLY like Victoria's Secret's Coconut Passion ... it's uncanny

StopHammertime

Opens with a really nice vanilla, amber, jasmine combo. Dries down quickly to a soft vanilla but mostly jasmine smell. Surprisingly I don't really get coconut with this one, with the original alien goddess I get a lot of sunscreeny coconut. What I find the most interesting about this perfume is that it comes out pretty oily. One spray on the top of my hands and they look shiny and feel moisturized, almost feels like washing off lotion when I wash my hands. I usually spray perfume on clothes but I think this would cause a problem if I did that.

20Diamonds

I really like it, it just gives me YSL Libre vibes. It's very nice for these New York cold days and nights.

GiulianaC

I am an Alien Goddess religious wearer and this was my boyfriend's gift for my 25th birthday. Stunning fragrance and rendition of both Alien Goddess and the original, iconic Alien. This one does certainly lean more on the OG Alien DNA, with a much stronger jasmine and a powdery/velvety feel, which I think comes from the amped up cashmere in this flanker. Alien Goddess, compared to the Intense, is clear, juicy and less faceted. The Intense took the same coconut/jasmine accord and refined it, making it less yummy, rekindling it with that very specific amber heavy Alien jasmine we all love.
Lasting power and projection are great and absolutely in line with the other flankers of this line. Lasts days and days on clothes.
If Alien Goddess is an imperial Topaz, the Intense is the textured, frosted gold band the gem would sit in.

Scentsibility85

L’Oréal tried it but, did not succeed for me with this one or any of the fragrances made under their name for that matter.

Yeah, it has a jasmine accord making is different from the first Alien Goddess but, the jasmine that was used in this is not the same jasmine that I smell in the original Alien that should tie the two together. Something is missing from the jasmine I can’t figure it out. I was taken aback a little on how loud the jasmine was when I first tested this. It’s beautiful but, the Jasmine in this smells like a jasmine oil or something…
The Intense is indeed stronger in scent but, it doesn’t last any longer than the Original. All I get from this is a blast of jasmine in the beginning, then is melds into a decent jasmine and vanilla dry down. The longevity is probably on me 4 or 5 hours and that’s being generous with and an hour or two.
That’s only from a couple of test sprays. I’m an oversprayer so I’m betting if I do overspray, I’ll probably get 7 hours tops.
I read someone’s review below liking the dry down to LIBRE intense and I can wholeheartedly agree with that. I have LIBRE intense and love it for it’s uniqueness. The use of lavender gives it a masculine edge but, still feminine in composition. Goddess Intense smells like LIBRE without lavender in the dry down.
The direction that L’Oréal is going with this once originally UNIQUE house seems to be the same direction that 95% of other designer companies in this day in age is going. The road the BLAHHHH 😒😫😩 . Everything smells the same!!!
It’s sad to see THIERRY MUGLER’s name and legacy turn into this. When I discovered this house I delved deep into that rabbit hole. I discovered some gems and stones but, all were different and unique and I appreciated that. I guess I will just appreciate the whole weird culture (90’s- 2010’s ish) of this once cherished, avant-garde fantastic fantasy, House of THIERRY MULGER.

Bought from Ultra yesterday. Will be returning tomorrow.

Rest In Peace MR. THIERRY MUGLER and his legendary House. May the memories of what was LIVE ON! 🥺

alanalikesperfume

basically a grown up and sophisticated version of VS coconut passion

so, i expected to LOVE this - on paper, this is like my perfect fragrance, and i’d seen many people hype this up online. i had very high expectations!

this isn’t quite a 10/10 on me, but it’s a solid 8.5. on my skin, this has a STRONG opening of straight sunscreeny coconut, with vanilla and a hint of amber that reveals itself after dry down. it is a bit overwhelming at first, but i really like the dry down. i don’t get any of the other notes, at all. it’s pretty much just straight coconutty vanilla.

it’s more of a sunscreen-like and creamy coconut than an overly sweet coconut. so this isn’t cloying or nauseating. it’s very summery!

like the original alien, the projection and longevity of this are great. however, that’s where the similarities to the og stops. i have no idea how this is considered a flanker of alien, i think it’s a different fragrance entirely!

Keiman2005

love it so much, the white tea makes jasmine more acceptable than other alien. Anyone use white tea with jasmine is genius. the dry down is very sexy and yummy though

banjerine

Alien’s silky, otherworldly jasmine swirled into a golden chalice of warm vanilla cream. Bare, sun-glazed shoulders, intricate braids, a gilded temple strewn with velvet pillows.

anna222

Test papers don’t do this justice. I tried it on my skin another time while shopping just to give it another chance and at first…hated it. Smelt bitter and just bad at first but then as it settled down and i re smelt my arm it began to smell really nice. Can definitely smell the coconut too. Honestly think the dry down is worth it as the bad scent at the start doesn’t even really last that long. ALSO it did last overnight, I could smell it strongly even in the morning after spraying it the day before, one spray as well!

chicagogirl

A very cozy jasmine and vanilla. I smell zero coconut. It's honestly very linear. When first sprayed the jasmine is kind of cloying strong and it resembles original Alien. It's a very pure jasmine oil kind of scent. It reminds me of jasmine attar, which is South Asian and Middle Eastern perfume oil...very potent stuff. Luckily it dries down so wonderfully. The drydown is pretty different than initial spray, it's a really pretty light cozy vanilla. It smells pretty generic IMO, not unique at all and smells like the drydown of so many perfumes (jasmine based with hints of vanilla). Really beautiful, nice perfume but not unique. You probably already have something super similar if you're even a casual fragrance collector. The drydown reminds me a lot of DKNY Be Pure Vanilla which is also a really pretty, clean vanilla jasmine. Also reminds me of La Vie Est Belle L'Eclat. Same white floral vanilla.

paulinefrance

I find this oh so boring, feels like I have smelled this 100 times before. It is pleasant, but I find it somewhat a bit on the cheaper-smelling side and definitely not recognizable like the OG Alien is.
After I read the note, I kinda was waiting for something different.

I will give it another chance though because I'm confused, I really was expecting to be blown away after hearing about it.

I must say though - longevity and sillage on me were quite impressive - 24h and 2 showers after I can still smell it on my skin!

peonylust

Signature scent worthy. Yummy sweet coconut and jasmine opening, that settles down into a cashmere vanilla scent. I'll admit it isn't crazily complex, I personally wasn't able to single out anything in particular, but the blend of notes is what makes it so good. It's delicious, feminine, long-lasting without being juvenile or cloying. 10/10. Sillage is ok

MargieRoo

On first spray, I really like this even though I’m not a big fan of the Alien line. What I prefer about Alien Goddess Intense is the coconut. Cashmere is a note I find dominating and I tend to get sick of after a short period. The coconut (and maybe the bitterness from the tea?) cuts that cashmere down and makes it more sustainably enjoyable to my nose. This surprised me bc I usually avoid coconut and don’t enjoy that sunscreen vibe.

louiee

Divine Alien goddess! Sweet benzion/vanilla, coconut and lingering jasmine. I got quite fond of the original and this one joins in. Sexy gourmand with a dirty look in the eye.
As with most Mugler creations this one has very good longevity and an excellent silage.
Not much more to say. I love it for what it is, an intense alien goddess.

sisii

I love this!!! It is a Jasmine, coconut and vanilla fragrance and has that alien dna which the alien goddess lacked. It is delicious and sexy. Also a huge compliment getter if you care about things like that. Overall, I love this and will definitely be wearing it often.

miarose847

I really like this scent. It was what I wanted out of the original Alien Goddess, more Alien dna and recognizable jasmine. This is like Alien went to the beach. Sexy, aromatic yet still floral and sweet. I definitely get the coconut and vanilla from this but I won't buy fragrances (especially more than $100) that are straight up vanilla and coconut cus let's face it, you can buy that at Bath & Body Works. If I didn't work at Macy's and had a 50% off sale on fragrances and $50 in Macy's money to make this fragrance 20 something dollars then I wouldn't have gotten it. Yes it is a good fragrance, I wish it had beast mode longevity for 7+ hours like Alien has on me but I'm still gonna keep this one and use it heavy during the summer. 7.5/10

Softpeacelily

Beachy, jasmine heavy with strong notes of vanilla, coconut and amber. I prefer it to the original. Nice and strong. i will buy it next summer.

Tinybluejacket

Very disappointed. I saw the notes here and was so excited to try it out. Also saw so many video reviews of people loving this and getting so many compliments. To each their own but this has to be one of the most overpriced, basic scents I have ever smelled. :) The undernotes are barely there it is basically all vanilla(men LOVE vanilla, so I'll pass). If you love vanilla, you'll like this. If you like unique, signature scents that you want to be recognised by, absolutely do not spend money on this.

AshBud

Pleasantly suprised I like this! I am usually a fan of delicate, light florals. Quality, rich vanilla almost like vanilla extract and slight jasmine to lift it up. I would not have picked up on the coconut without reading the notes. I sampled this on one arm with CH Good Girl on the other, and they pair exceptionally well together.

Unchat123

On me this smells like Rouge Malachite went to the beach. I quite like it and can't stop smelling my wrists but I fear it's one of those scents that if I got a full bottle of it, I would get sick of it pretty quickly.

Scentflower

So I decided to purchase this even though I wasn't the biggest fan of Alien. Alien was ok but seemed just like one noted perfume to me. I have one of the Alien flankers but never use it.

I've tried the original Goddess and it didn't work for me. I loved the coconut idea, but it kinda smelled like a mixture or shampoo and tanning oil when it fully dried. Seeing reviews of Goddess Intense, being deeper, vanilla and amber I decided to go for the blind buy. I'm not disappointed. On initial blast I got Alien, lots of jasmine. Then on the dry down the warmer amber and vanilla notes come out and stay out. I completely agree it smells like Libre Intense which is a perfume that completely grew on me. With Libre Intense I get zero lavender but I get the vanilla and amber notes. Since I'm a fan of vanilla and amber I'm going to keep it even though I have Libre Intense. You could probably pass on it if you already have that perfume. Unfortunately, it was beyond a skin scent at 2hrs for me an non existing by 5hrs.

Tested it in store. Synthetic. But yummy. Solar fragrance. Coconut. Vanilla. White florals. Benzoin.

But not for me. Too synthetic. Madagascar Vanilla NEST fragrance oil is better.

I like this scent and it smells pretty nice, but it doesn’t suit me. It kind of smells like cat piss or stuff. I think it’s the jasmine which is highly concentrated in this perfume

Congrats L'Oreal. You made Lancome La Nuit Tresor Nude. I find Nude more refined and beautiful. Come on.. your fans deserve better.

I blindly bought a 60ml bottle of this Perfume, and at first I tought it was too strong for me. But when the drydown came: I fell in love😍 It keeps getting better and better by every hour I’m wearing it. My hubby think so as well. I can smell it on my skin for 2 whole days🙏🏼 This Perfume is now in my Top 5👌🏽

It has a cozy fall/winter vibe. But the coconut also makes it wearable for summer.
With its bergamot, jasmine and vanilla it reminds me a bit of YSL Libre Intense. Delicious.

Long lasting, but the sillage is moderate.

Nice one. I dont like jasmin but this jasmin its just different. Oriental, creamy, so cosy. I dont know original Alien and I never liked Mugler because of angel. When I worked in the hotel 12 years ago, every woman used alien. Every room and every corridor was filled with that smell. It was horrible. Alien goddes intense its nice (and goddess OG too!) and I really love it. I know mugler is loreal now and I know lots of people are mad because this is no mugler any more, but Im happy about that 🤗

Ps...why there is no refill bottles on the market?

This is the only perfume that draws compliments every single time I wear it. I feel like a Carribbean queen when wearing this scent. Not overly sweet, comforting, warm, coconut and most of all the balmy powdery dry down. I'm in love.

Where is this? I spray it and 10 minutes later it's gone. How is that "intense?" Ugh. I was one of the OG Angel wearers and stopped wearing it when it became over-popular. I keep thinking another Mugler will live up to it, but alas, none has.
