COMPLAINT

1. There is always somebody at my appartment to receive packages !
2. There is a working (!) doorbell for my appartment.
3. There is a working (!) elevator in the house ! =Nobody needs to climb the staircase up to the 4th floor if they don't want to.
Clever postmen even use doorbell & elevator to direct packages up to my appartment on their own, from where I pick them up !

4. THEREFORE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY
NO REASON WHATSOEVER FOR DPD POSTMEN TO HEAVE HEAVY PACKAGES ONTO THE DOWNSTAIRS BLOCK OF LETTERBOXES (which is as high as 2 meters) AND TO LEAVE THE HOUSE IN SILENCE WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME !
THIS BEHAVIOUR DOESN'T SAVE ANY "TIME" AND MUST NOT BE TOLERATED.
IT IS NOT ONLY R U D E , BUT ALSO U N P R O F E S S I O N A L !!!

The WORST

If I could, I would give 0 starts. Delivery guy just decides not to come, sends my package to a shop, 30 minutes away from where I live (30 mins with public transport!!!!)
You are the WORST
I don't remember a time you actually attempted to deliver my package. 91% 1 star review says it all, good you are cheap so that someone decides to use your service

No actual delivery attempts and horrid customer service!

Both my spouse and I work from home, and thus are present all day. No knocks. No rings. Just a singular "delivery attempt" with a note left on our door, and the package (a wardrobe!!!) taken to a packet shop several kilometres away that we are unable to get to. Called support and tried to get them to redeliver. After going in a circle for several minutes with one of the rudest support people imaginable, they simply said "Sorry, it's quite literally impossible to get them to redeliver once it's at a packet shop." and hung up. Horrible, horrible delivery service and I'll steer clear of buying anything from anybody who ships with them in the future!

Delivery person didn't follow "Abstell-Okay" instruction

The "Abstell-Okay" option doesn't seem to work with DPD despite their confirmation that they received the request and... already delivered the package to the specific place. It already happened twice. The delivery guy/s was/were too lazy to bring the package/s (with the elevator) up to the 4th floor, leaving my package/s at the main entrance of the building and risking it/them to be stolen.

Katrastophaler Service! Catastrophic service!

Zunächst wurde das Paket trotz abgestimmtem Wunschdatum nicht zugestellt, es wurde gemeldet, dass niemand angetroffen wurde. Nachweislich waren alle zu Hause. Dann beim 2. Wunschtermin kam niemand von DPD. Schließlich wurde es kurzfristig für heute angekündigt, wir also: großen Zettel an die Tür: Bitte unbedingt klingeln. Fehlanzeige: Paket wurde einfach in unbeaufsichtigtem Bereich abgeworfen und im Netz als 'zugestellt' gemeldet. Unverschämt.
Catastrophic service!
First, the parcel was not delivered despite the agreed requested date, it was reported that no one had been found. Demonstrably everyone was at home. Then on the 2nd requested date, no one from DPD showed up. Finally, it was announced for today at short notice, so we put a big note on the door: Please ring the bell. No answer: the parcel was simply dropped in an unattended area and reported as 'delivered' on the Internet. Outrageous.

DPD theft

I placed my first order with Lidl - 4 bottles of alcohol on the 10th April. I waited at home all day (Lechausen) on the 15th for the delivery. The DPD driver claims he came and I refused delivery - I never saw or spoke to the driver, why would I refuse delivery?!?! Lidl puts it down as a return from me!! The package finally gets returned to the Lidl warehouse minus 1 bottle. I get a refund of €20 less as I am penalized for the delivery of €6 and the bottle that was stolen by either the driver or warehouse. Tons of emails sent by me go unanswered. People say it’s only €20 but it’s pure theft!!! DPD or Lidl?!?!

Tracking said that the package was…

Tracking said that the package was delivered half an hour ago, my son and I both were at home, no one came, no package delivered!
Update: it seems that the driver delivered to our next door neighbour. House number 30 and 30a were in his opinion the same....

Second time this happened

Second time this happened. They did not deliver at all. According to their records, they tried to deliver twice. Total lie. My husband and I were at home both days they claimed they tried to deliver. They just did not deliver at all and left it at a pickup place which I couldn't get to anymore because it was too late. Same thing happened to our neighbors. Sellers, don't use this courier at all.

The worst delivery company ever

The worst delivery company ever. I'm sorry to even leave one star.
It's the 4th day i recevie a message that the parcel is out for delivery and the 4th day i'm waiting at home like an idiot because no delivery van with my parcel shows up. I have managed to get a contact number for their Italian subsidiary. When i contacted them, despite receving a message early today that the parcel is out for delivery today, i get told that on their system they see the parcel out for delivery tomorrow and that was just an automated message and that the delivery person couldn't deliver the parcel for some technical issues. This at 9:00 am in the morning?
When challenged i get told that if i want to collect the parcel today i can go to their depot (50km away from me) and collect it myself.
The company should NOT be used by any serious reseller because it ruins their reputation.

Stay away from this delivery service.

I was at home whole day no one came to…

I was at home whole day no one came to deliver my parcel and suddenly I got message that we couldn't meet and my parcel is at pickup point where I should only go and collect. I am paying delivery fees for something and still I need to go and collect my items. Unfortunately rating starts from 1 otherwise it doesn't deserve 1 also

Absolutely the worst delivery courier…

Absolutely the worst delivery courier service! The site should have the option of giving no star at all. DPD lost two of my parcels. The status showed parcel delivered when it wasn’t. For one of them, I even changed the date of delivery which they accepted by confirming over email. Yet they delivered it the same day when no one was home. Both the parcels were not found. It is almost like they’re keeping the parcels with them and just saying that they are delivered. The customer service executives are of no help at all, and on top of that they are rude and disrespectful. Horrible service!!!

Where is my package?

They said, that the package was dropped off at a neighbor, the name they gave me was a combination of two of the neighbors that live here... When I tried to get more information from their website, it told me, that my package was dropped of in my neighborhood... B!tch where? And u expect me to get an account so I can see who has my package? Why would I ever do that? Worst service ever!!! Thanks for nothing! Oh and of course I tried calling u... Hung up after 10 minutes... Disgusting!

Absolutely not safe to have them as…

Absolutely not safe to have them as delivery service. If you have any other options go for it. I believe it is even better to give up from a purchase than to have DPD delivering something.

No service at all

No service at all. Unreliable. We were expecting a package, which was not only delivered, but according to driver, he attempted but nobody was home. We were taking time off and he never even tried. Four adults in the home and he just documented nobody was available. Total lie. This is a dishonest company.

Not reliable and no way to contact them.

The worst delivery company by far. First time they deliver my parcel to wrong address without seeing the name of the person living there, which is right there on the name plate. There is no contact them and if by luck you get a hold of them they, please contact your company from which you ordered your item.
Second time i did not take the risk and selected the option to deliver to the DPD packet shop and guess what they were unable to find their own DPD paket shop. I dont know how they are delivering the other orders because i did not get my any order from them.

That should be 0, unfortunately it's not on the scale.

I had multiple situations with DPD so I stopped using their service. Ordering something on Amazon I had no idea that the shope was using this delivery service and of course I didn't receive the parcel.

I have received the information that the parcel was delivered to me while it clearly wasn't. Their Customer Support is not existent so they took the money for the service that was not provided and they don't answer the emails....

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. They lie that I was not at home which I was. Then they sent a notification that my package was in pickup center, which was not. Then the next day the same story again. I called the customer support but they were very ignorant and repeating the script. I had to go take 15 kg package myself and carry it 1.5km with my bad leg.
The rate should be 0, not even 1.

Missing package and no answer

Well where do I start, the level of incompetence you have to deal with. Twice now my package was delivered when it wasn't.
The second of which has happened today, I changed the delivery day to this day and I got a notification that it was on the way between 09.30 and 10.30. On the live map I could see the driver was still a bit away from my area then all of a sudden the status changed to delivered at 09.51 which is interesting as the time it changed to this status was 10.36.
Apparently delivered to me, well DPD where the hell is my package, you just lost an item i paid over 200 euros for, no customer service cause no one will answer the phones as they are all busy apparently, an automated answer from the form service and im left here out of pocket 250 euros wondering who the hell has my package.
They are literally the worst service imaginable.
What's hilarious is another package I ordered only yesterday shows up with DHL, Top marks for DHL, DPD can go fly a kite DO NOT USE DPD people.

Packages delayed but arrived

DPD tracking said that my package was delivered but nothing arrived that day.
I was worried that my package got lost or stolen, but thankfully it arrived after 2 more days.
