The King, Patron, and The Queen this morning visited the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, 62-64 Gower Street, London WC1, to celebrate its One Hundred and Twentieth Anniversary and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), Mr. Marcus Ryder (Chairman of Council) and Ms. Niamh Dowling (Principal).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Chairman and Principal, viewed a performance in the black box theatre, visited the design studio and met students, alumni and members of staff in the cafeteria.

Ms. Samantha Mostyn (Governor-General designate of the Commonwealth of Australia) was received in audience by The King this afternoon.

The Queen, Patron, SafeLives, this afternoon received Mrs. Suzanne Jacob at Clarence House upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive.

Her Majesty, Patron, National Youth Orchestra, received Mr. Christopher Satterthwaite at Clarence House upon his appointment as Chairman of Trustees.

Ms. Sarah Alexander (Chief Executive and Artistic Director) was present.

The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary Member, the Oxford and Cambridge Club, and The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon attended a Lunch at the Oxford and Cambridge Club, 71-77 Pall Mall, London SW1.

The Prince of Wales, President, the Football Association, this afternoon attended the Cup Final between Manchester City Football Club and Manchester United Football Club at Wembley Stadium, Middlesex.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force Foundation, this afternoon travelled on a steam locomotive from Wansford Station, Stibbington, Peterborough, to mark the Force's Centenary and was received by Mrs. Gillian Beasley (Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

His Royal Highness, Royal Patron, afterwards visited Nene Valley Railway at Wansford Station.

The Princess Royal later opened the Admiral Lord Cochrane Room at the Royal United Services Institute, 61 Whitehall, London SW1, and was received by Mr. Stuart Shilson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Princess Royal, Patron, this morning visited Hornet Services Sailing Club to mark its Sixtieth Anniversary and, having been received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson), opened the Army Sailing Association Offshore Centre at Haslar Road, Gosport.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, held an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Royal National Lifeboat Institution's Bicentenary.

The Duke of Kent was present.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The Band of the Royal Marines (Portsmouth) played selections of music during the afternoon.

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, this evening visited the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London SW3.
