Plumeria Theodoros Kalotinis for women
Perfume rating 3.36 out of 5 with 88 votes
Plumeria by Theodoros Kalotinis is a fragrance for women. Plumeria was launched in 2020. The nose behind this fragrance is Theodoros Kalotinis. Top note is Bergamot; middle note is Frangipani; base note is Sandalwood.
"I remember my mother holding plumeria blossom in her arms in summers. Its perfume causes peacefulness and calmness, as she said. This is how this idea was born. A sensitive blossom that is so strong at the same time, just like the woman’s soul. An addictive and powdery perfume that leads you to exotic beaches with golden sand. This perfume can awaken your senses, lift your mood and boost your confidence." - a note from the brand.

Unfortunately this is a hate for me. I wanted to love this fragrance as I love plumeria flowers so much but this smells like straight up nail polish remover with a touch of soap 😭
Thankfully I didn’t order a full bottle and sampled it first.

Stunning perfume, not because it is innovative or who knows what, but because it gives me a feeling of well-being, its aroma (essentially it smells of Frangipani) smells clean, soapy, a reminder of clean laundry, the thing that struck me is its longevity…. It lasts forever, you don't have to overdo it with the sprays otherwise it could annoy those around you, so for me it's an absolute 10/10

Very interesting scent. Whatever it is this smell belongs to, I just enjoy it. I don't understand why people say this is soapy: I personally don't smell a hint of soap here. Soaps can have lots of different smells, whatever is added -- is this meant by the comparison? In this case this is just not valid. But if many people smell pure non-perfumed soap then my nose is just different :) And there are scents where I have smelt something soapy, no question about it. This scent is very unique, something I had never smelt before I sniffed a sample. I got my first sample from a travelling sample box (EU) thread that is being done in a forum of Fragrantica. Later I bought even more samples to get a better picture of it. Maybe one day I'll take a full bottle because nothing else I have is any way close to it.

Not like an plumeria I’ve ever smelled. This is soapy and aldehydic, in a dirty rest stop bathroom kind of way, not a luxury soap kind of way.

Frangipani on wood! The Sandalwood in this perfume is intense and beautifully worked with Frangipani adding the creamy floral touch.

Smells like handsoap. High-quality handsoap. Smells slightly like Dirty Flower by Kerosene, but that one is a lot better and has more depth and character.

It's ok... Just a clean scent without a lot of wow in it..

A soapy scent, which smells like freshly washed clothes with a hint of baby powder. It’s clean and fresh, you can’t go wrong. Nothing remarkable , great for everyday use if you like this kind of scents. Suitable also for any age.
On me, it doesn't smell floral at all, I don’t even get the Frangipani - It’s a nice one to have in your collection though, it has quality and it’s not pricey.

Sampling Thedoros Kalotinis Plumeria, from the Eau de Parfum collection, a very easygoing floral scent featuring the plumeria flower, with additional notes of sandalwood and bergamot per the website. It’s fresh, a tiny bit sharp, a bit sweet, with a very reasonable center, not screechy or overly floral for a floral fragrance. I like it and regard it as a nice floral scent for those that are usually not fans of floral scents. And it performs pretty well.
As with the rest of the EDP collection, Plumeria is priced at 45 euros for 50ml, very reasonable. Free worldwide shipping is available for orders of 100 euros or more.

Probably one of the bigger let downs for me I found from perusing this site. The copy ad sounded so good and it is a great deal for price and the sillage. But it is just not my cup of tea as a Frangipani lover. This is a very soapy, zesty, high pitched bergamot with very little creamy yellow tropical floral as the name would suggest. It is not realistic to the flower. It is also not creamy. I was not hoping for a sunscreen smell either and it is not this (just to let the sunscreen smell searchers know). I could smell the perfume even sitting in the box several feet away in a small room. It is very strong and great value if soapy, bergamot non-descript white floral is your thing.

It 's nice and cozy, but not very special. Just nice perfume. I like fragrances with more longevity. But not bad.

One would expect this to be a tropical flower bomb but no no no no… this is soapy, clean and cozy like freshly washed linens on a crisp white bed. Sensation similar to Byredo Blanche or Coton Egyptien, flower notes are there but not too present, just not Tiare flower, this one was a surprise but a nice one!

This is a nice clean fragrance. Floral, soapy and a little powdery clean on the dry down. I wear it with ScentWorx Aloha Coconut & Lime Body Lotion which has a strong dose of lime rather than a heavy beach coconut. So it blends well with the bergamot that you get in the opening. I don’t get a predominant sandalwood, it’s just there to give it a base. I like to wear it on those hot, humid and sticky summer days. Good longevity. Wear this with Kai and you are in for a heavenly delight.

This smells straight up soap to me. Nothing tropical about it at all. Not bad but not unique either.

Just received Jasmine and Plumeria through the nice discount offer. Although I don’t usually look much at this, the package come so nicely in 2 boxes wrapped with beautiful black ribbons. Now for the perfumes. Very nice discovery and pleased with the try. Plumeria is a very powdery soapy frangipani, almost frangipani soap to be honest, so some will have a hard time with it but summer is coming and it will be for sure a go to easy breasy perfume. Actually I think both perfumes have something in common which is that the flowers are interpreted likem after you pick them from the tree and after they stay a bit in the sun. They lose the greener scent when still on the tree and gain a creamy sweeter cashmere note, without passing however into any indolic space. Also the great thing is that they have staying power, they are dense and present.

I was expecting a tropical floral. But this is very very soapy. Not tropical or floral or anything like Plumeria/Frangipani.

Not my style. Selling on an app that starts with M and ends with i.

Such a great well simplistic, but still quite well-rounded spring and summer banger. TK has a great style to his perfumes that is so rare to find. I love the control you have with the distribution. Spraying less gives you something light and airy, but spraying more transforms it into something much heavier with stronger silage! That's what you'd want to happen in a fragrance, but it usually doesn't. Weak fragrances usually stay weak and the strong are just strong no matter what you do. The frangipani here has a fleshy, light coconut feel that I enjoy smelling on myself. I feel I'm on an island lying in the sun somewhere in the middle of springtime! Although I do have other scents that contain coconut/frangipani, I love how the scent profile isn't similar in comparison. Probably because of the addition of the woodiness from the sandlewood.

A very interesting perfume : almost pure frangipani, very solar but not a hint of Ylang, Tiare, Coconut or vanilla usually associated in such solar juices. Amplified by a touch of gentle sandalwood. Simply great, I love it !! Easy to mix with other florals as the vapo is screwed.
II should better have ordered 2, as one only won't last....

Fresh, but not citrusy. Clean, simple. Very unusual smell.
I like it a lot!
