A unsweetened tropical vacation. I’m picking up pineapple, citrus and coconut in the opening, then saffron which is a challenging note for me in this composition. I’m thinking I would’ve loved it without, but I also recognize that it’s the addition of saffron that makes this beach scent unique. A good vanilla rounds out this, for most people, an easy to wear scent.

Tropical, clean, dry coconut, realized I’m not a huge tropical scent fan, or just coconut? I love the smell of coconut oil though.

Fantastic brand and bought a few bottles (Citric is to die for - better than Eau Sauvage) and grabbed a sample of Marinis and this).
Very impressed. Gourmandish natural peachy opening dries down to a lush creamy sandalwood. A few minutes later a vanillic presence establishes itself with a natural sweet coconut - the coconut arguably more dominant giving a beachy tropical vibe and the saffron giving it depth with body.
What’s also delightful is the ‘fruits’ note which for me past the peachy apricot opening is a subtle accent of the darker bitterness of the peach or an apricot and an occasional waft of the brightness and acidity of the juice.
Very well done and natural as opposed to say Amouage Beach Hut which I enjoy but is so synthetic I have to be in the right mood. For me this is the class leader if you like the sunscreen, beachy, tropical vibe with a natural gourmand twist. ALL the alternatives I can think of are pretty much now in the bin...
Great for the ladies or for men wanting a beach vibe in summer...

This is so insanely good to me. Instant full bottle worthy. Clean coconut if there is such a thing. The saffron gives it a warm leather vibe. Clean, but creamy, warm, dry leather and coconut with a touch of supporting fruits and white floral. I love it!

No no no! I got a sample from Lucky Scent because the notes sounded promising and when I got it, it smelled like a church! It has a strong amber scent and something else (frankincense?) and it lasts for HOURS. However, I know that dabbing smells different from spraying, so I went to smell it in person at a fragrance shop (C.O. Bigelow) and yep, same effect. The notes are VERY misleading.

- Tested this scent out today from a store in Melbourne. It was recommended by a sales assistant bc I told her I enjoy woods and white florals. I immediately identified its masculine edge although I do think it’s unisex and leans Feminine. My initial rxn was “it smells like tea.” I’m not into tea scents at all. I really can’t stand them but this is gorgeous.
Smells like sweetened black tea with coconut creamer. The note breakdown on fragrantica surprised me. I’m not getting much fruit but it’s does smell sweet. I like it bc it’s interesting. Sweet vanilla coconut saffron with sweet notes and green notes.

A great unisex scent. I agree it might not attract the attention of a bee but it is infinitely more wearable as a scent. I get coconut, some tonka, vanilla and dry saffron. The saffron is what makes this summer dream quite unisex and I love all the more for it. There is a natural sweetness but it's not particularly feminine which I think comes from the Tonka.
I like the bit of kick from the lemon leaf which stops this getting too soft and flabby. The lemon leaf seems to intensify along the timeline as the coconut fades.
Coconut definitely reigns here and it is ably and flatteringly supported by fruits, vanilla, saffron and white flowers. The saffron gives a dry quality to the scent.
I really love it. It's not too flowery but it smells exotic. I'd definitely take this with me on holidays to tropical places.
I get good sillage and longevity.

So lacking in sweetness. A bee would not be attracted to this one.
