Infusion d'Amande by Prada is a Amber Vanilla fragrance for women and men. Infusion d'Amande was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is Daniela (Roche) Andrier.

Infusion collection from Prada began in 2007 with Infusion d'Iris edition. The fragrances of this collection were launched as limited editions. In 2015, Prada returns this collection as permanent. It presents 6 fragrances: the re-launched Infusion d'Iris, Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger from 2009 and Infusion de Vetiver from 2010, and three new editions Infusion d'Iris Cedre, Infusion d'Amande and Infusion d'Oeillet.

Perfumer Daniela (Roche) Andrier collaborated with Miuccia Prada to create this collection of six elegant and sophisticated unisex fragrances. Each fragrance is an interpretation of natural ingredients and the contrast between traditionalism and modernity.

Infusion d'Amande consists of bitter almond, heliotrope, tonka beans, musk and essence of anise.

If you are here because you read that this resembles the L’Occitane almond shower oil then you might want to test it first, To me they are not even close, this has a floral powdery note and, and the almond note is very different. I really dislike this one and I love the L’Occitane.

Zahraa555

The opening is a sparkling fizzy drink with bitter almond, then it dries to a powdery nivea cream. soft snow fairy scent 🧚🏼❄️ Not sweet, not gourmand thankfully. Light and close to the skin. Love it! Very similar to FM l’eau d’hiver.

Kots_Tanya

Still one of the best Almond Iris compassion to date. This airy, slightly woody, and fresh, yet powdery and somewhat sweet. Its clean, unoffensive, perfect for work in the office setting. This will always be in my collection.

It‘s actually kind of crazy how good this smells. It evokes really strongly positive emotions for me, I had to contain myself in the store as not to gasp when I sprayed this on a tester! I originally wanted to try out the carnation one from this line but they did not have it so I just went ahead and tried this as I do generally like actual almonds, I use almond oil after my showers and some of my favorite scents ever actually have almond notes; hey, wait a minute… I love almonds, actually! This scent is just sooo comforting and beautiful; reminds me of a baby‘s head, a mother‘s hug, anything vaguely soft and beautiful, really.
I might (urgently) need a full bottle.

This is such a special fragrance, but it's not going to be for everyone. Infusion d'Amande is a soft, effervescent, slightly powdery, almond musk scent. It is perfectly balanced and quiet but with immense depth. It's floral, perfectly sweet, and creamy enough that it never veers into baby powder territory for me. It's just how it goes with musk—you have to wear it to see how your chemistry is going to combine with it. I absolutely love the fizzy opening that smells like gently gingered yet refined root beer bubbles on your nose. I sampled an older bottle before purchasing and this quality was magnified and longer-lasting, so I imagine that as my bottle macerates, it will only get better. Infusion d'Amande is a delicate scent but that's precisely what makes it magical. If it were beast mode, It would be far too heavy and cloying. It's a gentle embrace, not a bear hug. It is fairly long-lasting though and perfect for after the shower, before bedtime, or when you just want to smell beautiful without the fragrance being intrusive. I can't imagine not always having this in my collection. I adore so many fragrances created by Daniela (Roche) Andrier because she creates wonderfully expressive yet soft perfumes.

Dracaena

I sadly dislike it. I really like almond as a note, and I tried it in store and I thought I liked it (not fully convinced but husband really liked it). So I bought it at a very nice discount in a Spanish shop (discount perfumes, you can find it under 70 Euros). I don't use it because I don't really like it, and the reason is that I find it very very DRY. It has made me realize that a common theme in all the perfumes I like is that they are more balanced. I am not into overly sweet perfumes, but can't do very dry either, and this one is.

I will review it in the summer, maybe macerating and the heat will help. But so far, I have found it too dry to enjoy it. Makes me think of a harsh disciplined nurse or teacher, very not the vibe I was hoping for.

Whyyyyy oh whyyy would i pay $200 for this fragrance 😭
THIS LAST 10 MINUTE ON MY SKIN
They don't have decant for this fragrance and i had to blind buy a full size bottle
I'm looking for a clean but lactonic notes in fragrance but this smell exactly, straight up BABY POWDER
One of my WORST purchase

I am partial to almond scents, and was keen to try the Prada Infusions take on almond. Another simple, subtle Infusion, its named note dominant, Infusion d'Amande doesn't disappoint. It is of the typical high quality I associate with this house, and is a lovely example of an almond-led scent. A dialled-down iteration of almond that doesn't skimp on its hazy, nutty, cosy sweetness, IA is satisfying and comforting.

IA opens with smooth, nutty almond, becoming increasingly hazy as it progresses, perhaps thanks to the heliotrope. It becomes powdery as it develops, wearing close to the skin.

Soft tonka adds body as it emerges, a seamless progression from the almond opening. It enhances the nuttiness, as well as adding a sweet-spicy nuance alongside the anise. IA becomes cleanly musky as it fades, soft and cosy as a feather pillow. Sillage is intimate and longevity is moderate. It is feminine-leaning in my opinion, and is a transeasonal daytime scent.

Less sweet than I expected - I don't get any vanilla - but this only makes IA more versatile, and places the almond note firmly centre-stage. Not the definitive almond scent for me (personally, I would prefer dry vanilla and more intensity), but IA is a lovely example of a soft, cosy almond scent. 4/5.

freshperfumer

Th drydown reminded me of Xerjoff Lira and I loved it. So powdery and lemony almond for me, performance is weak but based on the notes, this is expected. Anyone could recommend a more performanced perfume like the Lira and this one? Drydown is soo similar and amazing. Love this series with the Iris one.

jocing

This is soft, powdery, elegant and the almond stand out like after a fresh shower with L'occitane almond shower oil. You can use this after the shower oil.
Even thought is a soft scent but the longevity is great on my skin. But you need min 6 spray each time to ensure the staying power get better.
Is daily use perfume and very skin scent like perfume. You can use any where and anytime even it very aromatic for bedtime perfume.
I love this Prada line as most of the scent is more a daily use perfume and easily accepted by everyone. I have Prada Iris. Love this too.
Another one I am interested is the Prada Mimosa.

The only thing is pricey for a daily scent and the juice run out very quick due to number a spray each time.

Elle's Bells

Ohhhh, this is scratching an itch that I've had for a very long time. Upon first spray, I instantly get whiffs of the original Infusions d'Iris (pre-formulated) and I was happy as a clam!!! This fragrance is exceptionally well-done! On my skin, I get iris, for sure, but it mellows out to a feminine almond scent that vacillates between powdery and soapy.

Tres chic and sophisticated.

Wow, I'm so glad I blind bought this gem!!!!

amieelwhite

I am usually left quite underwhelmed by the fragrances that come described as 'baby powder' and 'soapy' but I think this is divine. The almond really comes through and although the scent on the whole is subtle and quite close, it's still rich and rounded. I voted this as an Autumn/Fall scent - perfect when the leaves are drying and the air still lingers with the damp warmth of the Summer.

Luilind

Clean and flowery. I get a vague almond note for a couple of minutes during the dry down, besides that it’s all white flowers and baby powder. I don’t get any vanilla either.

UPDATE: it’s been macerating for a couple of weeks and now I get such delicious almonds, it’s like sweet marcipan gelato with powdery vanillacoated white flowers on top.

ievaid

it is a truth universally acknowledged that all hot girls suffer from birthday blues, but this is almost good enough to snap me out of that inevitable, existential sort of disappointment. i gambled on trying it for the first time today and won big time. it's as powdery as they come, just how i like it, reminiscent of the great vintage classics of perfumery — or baby wipes, depending on your personal frame of reference. it smells clean in an androgynous, delicate and elegant way: almonds (not bitter, marzipan-like benzaldehyde; more like warm almond meal) and anise and lots of coumarin make it smell addictive but not heavy.

the heliotrope is what seals the deal for me. it's probably one of my favourite notes in perfumery, also present in my signature scents (après l'ondée and l'heure bleue by guerlain), and it characteristically expands into a luminous and intoxicating golden floral aroma when the fragrance is warmed on the skin (i.e. by someone's breath, in a warm room, or in the shower), giving it a responsive and intimate profile that i just adore. i thought i had sworn off buying full bottles, but this is extremely tempting. you know what, this might well be 26-year-old me's new signature scent.

Emerald615

This is so soft and comforting. Quite baby powder like, which I love. Makes me think of a nurse/caretaker, I love catching a waft of this when I’m moving around. This would be great for cozy days, when you want to feel clean and lovely.

ledossa

Soft, gently sweetened powdery almond… and that’s all there is to it! I admire it for its simplicity… this is what you wear when you don’t want to bother nobody <3 just want to smell good for you and your partner.

To the office, to the grocery store, taking a walk, taking a nap etc. Same vibe as “fresh out of the shower” and “your skin but better” but for the marzipan freaks. Even if you don’t care for marzipan, it still makes you smell effortlessly good in a way that’s natural. If someone were to smell you up close, they’d be drawn to you and mistake the perfume for your pheromones.

Ridiculous price though… I paid a third of its original retail price so I spray generously. Four sprays does the trick for four hours of longevity IME.

Juhhcarneiro2

Clean, fine, definitely a classic young woman, another perfect infusion from the infusion line. Gourmand and powdery, the worst lasting power in this line.

Reminds me a bubble bath with L'Occitane's Almond Shower Gel, It's easy wear perfume with very realistic almonds, safe blind buy.

I'm in love with this infusion line, this one, fleur de orange and the iris one are the best perfumes I've ever had.

natk

The sillage is not poor, it's non-existent :-( I don't mind it when others can't detect my perfume (most of the days that's what I'm going for) but I myself want to be able to detect and enjoy the fragrance with a starting price of $200USD for a little longer than 5 minutes. Longevity is bad on skin but sort of OK on clothes. Which doesn't matter because you won't be able to detect any scent in the air anyway. It's one of my most used fragrances, I love the scent so much but will not repurchase because Prada needs to do something about its performance. Nowadays when so many people love and appreciate good perfumes it's simply not enough to create a wonderful scent, it has to be accompanied by decent performance otherwise it's simply not good enough.

doono

amazing, more for winter but super light, i think this one you need to overspray

Erincess

Not so vanilla, not so powdery, cant scent any almonds or nutty, a bit musky? Yes

raesmells

I love almond and Prada Iris is probably the closest to a signature I have. This is lovely but do not expect it to be like almond over iris (which is what I was hoping for). It is very nice almond but soooooo close to the skin. I will use it up but it needs to be put over the original iris if you are looking for that combo and any sillage at all.
EDIT:I have been using this with a just one spritz of Eclats D' Amandes and it really helps the longevity.

Elenar10

Nice and comforting almond powdery scent, most suitable for winter. A bit old-fashioned though.

DieT CroaK

@Kuty22
I believe it is MSK 004/NTL and yes, they are really close. Amande has a bit more depth and sweetness while MSK is more synthetic and powdery to my nose but not much noticeable difference in the dry down. Unfortunately, MSK is discontinued and really hard to come by, at least here in America. Hopefully they rerelease it 🤞

Kuty22

This is a lovely scent indeed.
I cannot place my nose on which perfume but I know Zara has duped this and I've tried it.
Unfortunately I cannot recall the name.
Either way it's a cozy scent perfect for cuddling.
Almost baby-powder type of scent, but fresh

Candylover666

This is so so lovely!
It smells like a very expensive hotel soap in the best way possible.
It smells clean but also gourmand at the same time. It soft and so so pretty, definitely a unisex fragrance.
I only have the small 15 ml bottle of this that I cherish dearly but I do plan on getting the full bottle when I get the chance.
It’s a very cozy and clean smell, it evokes very positive emotions for me.

Kimberly917

Infusion d'Amande takes me back to the days when I used L'Occitane's Almond Shower Gel and Body Milk. It would work very well with both. I also used the Almond Skin Oil from L'Occitane. After awhile I was ready to move on to a different scent profile. I do like the almond in d'Amande and it's a pretty perfume. Heliotrope and tonka bring a bit of powder and soften the bitterness of the almond. The musk adds some sharpness and keeps it clean. I'm enjoying my .27 oz sample. I would recommend Infusion d'Amande if you are looking to add an almond perfume to your collection. L'Occitane's Almond Body Milk is a best seller and still available. I might have to revisit it.

It is unlikely that I will buy a full bottle of Infusion d'Amande. I have a lot of perfumes in my collection that need to be worn. I want to give a shout out to Prada though for making their Infusion sample pack available to the consumer. I received seven 9ml fragrances and had enough perfume to wear each one for a week. They came in splash bottles but I decanted mine into spray bottles. I really appreciate being able to try out the collection in this way. I wish more perfume houses would follow suit. A lot of them sell 1.5 to 2 ml samples and they are costly. I can barely get to know a perfume with such a small amount.

Susi.312

This is a pretty, soft and powdery scent. Like a baby dusted with almond powder. A light touch is all that is needed, otherwise it is too much! Good all year round.

CanadianBeauty

Looking for this if anyone has one to swap.

markvel

This one is my favorite from Infusion line
I was looking to find it at some discount because at my local Sephora it was quite expansive for designer perfume at around 170EUR. That would be ok because I love it how it smells but performance of this perfume is really weak so I don't think it worth the full price.
Anyway it's clean bitter almond smell with star anise. Those two notes are the most prominent to my nose.
It's easy wear perfume and if you love almond note I think this would be a safe blind buy for sure

Pat_Chouli

If you're a woman OR man and you just want to smell inexplicably GOOD — not in a "perfumey" or "cologney" way but rather a hard to describe/indentify clean yet warm and comforting, just-showered way, this is the fragrance for you. It's really really pleasant, mild, inoffensive, but not sweet. And it's not a nighttime going-out fragrance that's for sure, instead it gives me a serious professional/medical personnel/studious vibe.

amanda0727

So soft, powdery, comforting. Smells like a newborn baby. I can quite literally bathe in this!

Lili1105

I absolutely love this scent. I feel like after a bubble bath covered with almond body lotion and enjoy the softness and comfort of the bathrobe. In terms of comfort, it reminds me of my beloved Pure eVe, but this one is not sweet, but rather SPA. A wonderful sophisticated fragrance.

Murmur123123

A good scent for a quiet rainy early winter day. It is mostly almond powder with very little sweetness, with the powderiness from the heliotrope. A bit of tonka and musk in the dry-down but overall it is a creamy powdery but not sweet scent.

liberty111

Yes, the fragrance has indeed been reformulated. I bought my bottle yesterday at Bloomingdale's, the inscription on the box is a little different, the pyramid has also been changed and is also made in France. But in my opinion, the flavor has not changed. Became a little more persistent, perhaps. The old formula was painfully quiet and unstable. As for the rest, the sound, the disclosure, everything is the same.

DT953

Love, love, love this one and have ever since I've tried it. It's so hard to find at the moment. Creamy (tonka, vanilla), powdery, musky and a heliotrope note to die for. Very apt comparisons to L'Instant Magic. Purple, nutty... yummy. Glad I have a decant. As others have mentioned, it suffers a longevity issue.

likesleet

very realistic to almonds / almond flour. gets powdery and sicker in the drydown

takema

Infusion D'Amande is a beautiful easy to wear fragrance. The almond is a clean soapy almond. It is fragrant and not at all gourmand. The heliotrope and tonka give a lovely soft powderiness and the musk in the base is clean and fresh. This fragrance is pretty uncomplicated. It is unobtrusive and linear. What I smell on application is what i smell at the end of it's wear. I wear this when I just want to smell clean and fresh and when I am going to be in situation that I want my fragrance to be a little more subtle.

This is a beautiful and elegant scent that I find works in any season. It is a lovely fragrance for most workplaces since it has a soft projection and a reserved and slightly serious (but not stuffy) feel to it. This is marketed as a unisex fragrance and I agree, but it does lean just a little feminine.

I have heard a lot of complaints about the performance of this fragrance. That has been far from my experience. My bottle is a few years old (2019, I think), so there may have been a reformulation. Infusion D'Amande lasts forever on me. I get whiffs of it all day when I am wearing it, even as the projection settles. I find it has moderate projection for a few hours, around arms length, then settles and stays closer to the skin. I can still smell it on my skin 12+ hours later. In my hair and on clothes, it stays until they are washed. I have had similar experience with Infusion D'Iris. I tend to use what I feel is a pretty average application, 4-6 sprays.

I love the packaging of this line. It is the definiation of elegant and understated. Everything about it feels like excellent quality. Heavy glass, an embossed metal plate with the Prada logo. Even the textured paper label on the side feels of excellent quality. It is a simple and elegant design.

CeeTee

The good:
This is such a dreamy, heavenly scent. I don’t know if it was reformulated because mine is an old decant. Gorgeous, well blended, “old money,” inoffensive, sweet almond oil and powder. The richest, most elegant, finely milled “baby powder” type of powder. (I’m not even a fan of baby powder.) So delicate. So sophisticated. Pure class, but in an approachable way. Seasonally agnostic to my nose.

The bad:
I rated it as ‘love’, but sadly, it’s a non-starter for me, based on my personal price-to-performance ratio needs. If I could afford to douse myself with it after work, I would get it. Too bad.
——
EDIT:
I just got a large decant. It’s so damn good, I’ll probably get a FB. It’s just so clean and comforting. I can see myself showering, spraying this, and reading a book or watching TV and all being right with the world.

EDIT:
Just bought a FB. 🤣 I love it, and surprisingly, it’s not as weak as I thought. It’s kind of deceptive. My husband notices this one more than my other perfumes, so…?? Zero regrets. It’s 100% worth it.

Tenae

Reformulated? Can't really compare with the older batches but got one produced in April 2022. The packaging is slightly different without Heliotrope and Musc mentionned on it. Instead there is Bergamote and Santal. I indeed don't smell Heliotrope at all inside of it.

To me it smells like sweet almonds with woodsy notes in the background, it's pretty natural smelling and it stays quite long on my skin (for about 8h), though becomes a skin scent quite fast. Really unique to my nose, it's not agressive, easily wearable and comforting :)

Nougasaur

This is such a special perfume. It's very unobtrusive and fresh, no matter how much you spray on. It's great for going out, but also delightful if you're just out of you shower and sitting at home. It's also the scent I get asked about constantly

fleader

I was wearing this at the dentist and one of the techs told me, "You smell nice... like, I don't know, perfume." That pretty much is how this smells. It doesn't communicate much other than a desire to smell nice. That's why I love it.

It is very much a powdery soap smell, but it's so well executed, and so simple, that it doesn't come across as smelling stuffy or unfashionable, it just smells comforting and clean.

I also love the Prada Infusion des fleurs d'oranger—also a powdery soap scent—but I chose to get a bottle of this one first because I think it smells more comforting.

It's something I would just as soon wear on a night at home just to enjoy the smell myself as I would wear it in professional contexts. I wore it on vacation in the bleeding-hot Italian summer and it felt perfect.

Probably wouldn't wear it on a night out though.

Deppaholic

I loved this fragrance so much from the sample, that I bought a bottle. I dang near used up the whole bottle within 2 weeks. So I put it away.

It's so almond and powdery delightful, and yet it is light. It doesn't bite my nose like Alessandro does. Which I still love even though it smarts at the beginning.

I am a fickle fan of fragrance, but I do wear them all.

This is so soft you can wear it all day, anywhere. Very appropriate if you work around people or children. It's also very watery. Not the liquid itself, but the vibe it gives. It really isn't too complex with tons of notes, but it does give me an uplifting light feeling. I did try a few others from this line, and I think one was orange, it was very nice also. Almonds are my thing though, oh yes, and I do love heliotrope also.

strongerwithglue

I like powdery scents, I love almond and heliotrope. I also really enjoy the original Infusion d'Iris. Based on the notes, I was hoping this would be an alternative to Iris Dragees, but no, this is nothing like that in the slightest. Almond-y of course, but there is a significant "baby product" aspect to this that really puts me off. Baby wipes, or diapers, I can't pinpoint exactly, but I certainly am reminded of a baby's bottom. I don't find it very sweet, and it comes off as "cold", rather than a warm scent.

I do find it to be similar to the OG Infusion, just with almond, and no citrus.

betsyglez8

One of my favorite almond scents ,
This is a powdery fresh almond scent
Im loving how well balanced this is and how the nut stays fresh , along the evolution of this fragrance

jeannebelmondo

If you're looking for a nice and creamy "expensive hotel soap" smell, this is a very strong candidate! It's elegant, very squeaky clean, but the soapy white floral feel of it is really nicely rounded out by a cozy and not remotely cheap feeling almond and vanilla.

Because I'm not a fan of soapy notes, and it's not exactly groundbreaking, this misses the mark for me, but fear not -- it is really easy to like! It's just a bougie take on the scent of lotion. You could spray this on your bedding or fabric and smell very clean and well put together.

violeteme

Could this be the most beautiful, dainty, ethereal almond perfume ever? It smells like almond milk with a hint of anise. Absolutely beautiful. +

Tropicat28

I love the sillage of this fragrance but when I smell it close to my skin I get something a little too spicy for my liking. It’s not a deal breaker like pink pepper. Maybe black pepper? Maybe the Anise and or in combination with an unlisted note? I think it would smell great on a man but my husband refuses to wear it because it reminds him of Shea butter which he strongly dislikes the smell of. Layers perfectly with Hypnotic Poison, I have the edt but surely it would work with the edp. Also layers with A Drop d’Issey or Pink Sugar.

Edit: Turned into a love. A great bed time scent.

The Wolf

Based o scent alone, this is a perfect 10.
Beautiful. Smells of almonds and flour but not gourmand. Unique! You have not smelled anything exactly like this before. Very clean, delicate, soapy, white musk, powder, with a delicious sweetness. Unisex but it's borderline feminine. I love Prada and I love almonds so I love this one.

The problem is projection. I sprayed on a dozen sprays of d'Amande and it sillage and push is poor. Prada D'iris Cedre is much better in that department. Longevity on Prada d'Amande is good as I can detect it on clothing a couple days later.

If you want an almond that others can smell on you, try initio high frequency. If you're looking for an intimate, powdery, soapy, almond skin scent then check this one out. Sillage is a deal breaker for me, I need to smell it and I'd like others to as well if they're in my immediate vicinity. A real mood lifter that smells devine.

Best in class scent, with worst in class projection and sillage.

Scent 10/10

purplenoon

Prada's Infusion d'Amande certainly delivers on its promise: this is an almond infusion designed for those who are partial to the note. That said, it is not without its surprises: the opening is unexpectedly refreshing, giving off barbershop vibes before the more predictably creamy almond comes in. The vanillic drydown is soapy, gentle and intimate, not at all musty but in fact rather bright. An easy reach, this is a friendly and likeable scent that still maintains its own distinct identity. While Infusion d'Amande flirts with tradition, the entire composition is remarkably youthful, robust and unisex.

With excellent longevity and polite sillage, this is a wonderful white T-shirt fragrance for spring and summer days, but I can also see it as a cozy interior fragrance in fall and winter. Between the stunning scent, excellent performance and impeccable presentation, Prada has truly hit it out of the park with this one.

antoniov

This smells like a nice almond fragrance on my skin but unfortunately the longevity and sillage is not good. The infusion of iris is better on me.

lemonsandroses

Squeaky clean powdery powder, highly reminiscent of my grandma's beauty products. Great for layering with musks.

upk

The ideal almond perfume that I finally met! !!
It has a very nice scent. The powdery heliotrope and tonka bean gently wrap the almonds, giving it an elegant, clean scent like a fine soap.

RisingChaos

Atop the Infusion line's signature very soft powder, slightly soapy base, this is a sharp, piercing heliotrope bomb. Exceptionally bright white musk with an almondy-vanillic floral flair, very much an "unscented clean laundry" smell. It's got serious bite to it, which is further accented by the anise. Like stripping Parfums de Marly Pegasus down to its skeleton. It smooths out slightly as it dries down but is more or less linear. Moderately soft projection for 2-3hr, longevity 12hr+.

MagdalenaM

I really like this because its so different, but for me it would be a sleep scent. Its a powdery, almondy, kind of a skin scent. This whole line is more so on the subtle side. Its a soft, dreamy, fairy tale type scent, not for everybody and just for relaxing days. Id call it comforting and innocent. Makes me think of baby angles resting on clouds.

ScentedPlaza

I wanted to blind buy it as I love perfumes with an almond note, but.. luckily tried it in the store today. It's so faint! Maybe I am anosmic to the particular musk in this perfume or there are Iso E & Ambroxan in large dosages. Yes, I feel powdery almonds and musk, but the scent is so fleeting, so faint, so watery. The scent was gone completely after 40 minutes. Oh well.. maybe more suitable for a bedtime scent, as it feels fluffy & serene.

A Little Perfume

TL;DR: if the whole journey smelled as good as the opening, I would buy a bottle for sure.

I recently repurchased Infusions d'Iris and was excited to see the Infusions collection had expanded. Infusion d'Amande was the first sample I picked up, as I love anything with a prominent almond note.

The opening of this fragrance is divine candied almonds, a dusting of powdered sugar and light florals. It really makes me think of those pastel candied almonds people used to give at weddings, but fresher and more modern. I love it. It's fun, angelic but with a little wink that stops it from being too pure.

However, the dry down on this scent is VERY soap-y and the candied element is lost to a soft, ultra-clean musk. It's very comforting, but ultra soapy clean musks are not my vibe, generally. So if you like really powdery clean scents and almonds, this might be a total winner for you! For me, a FB is not in my future but I will happily use up my decant.

This fume is incredible by itself, but when you want to Spike up it's sweetness or want a little more coziness to it, try layering with a linear, uncomplex vanilla fragrance such as fresh cream warm cashmere from philosphy or kayali vanilla 28. Trust me you will love it!

saccitygrl01

This was a blind buy and I love this fragrance. Very unique. At first spray I mostly noticed the star anise note rounded out by the almond and tonka notes. As it dried down it became a warm tonka type scent with a slight anise note in the background. Its not powdery or particularly soapy. It's definitely a unique fragrance to me and something I think could be a signature scent. i think this is most suited for an adult woman--definitely not girly girl type of fragrance.

diaanz81

Amande to me feels like a hug in a bottle and is my personal favorite from the infusions line. While I like the original (iris), I find it somewhat sharp which is neutralized by the combination of almond and powdery vanilla in this flanker. In the opening, I get a short lived licorice note along with vanilla. Vanilla while prominent and noticeable in the opening, fades to a very subtle note by the dry down and is more powdery than sweet. Maybe it's a tonka note where the vanillic nuances have been amplified? The almond is present throughout and in my opinion, is what takes the edge off the iris (which is not listed but I definitely get it) that makes the original smell sharp to my nose. I also get a clean powdery musk which helps lighten the tone of this fragrance and so overall, to me this is a powdery, clean but cozy scent. Almost all the notes in this fragrance has powdery traits be it iris, tonka, heliotrope, almonds or musk, yet surprisingly it is not a powder bomb and the blend of all notes is like harmonious music. This unisex fragrance has average performance, about 4-6 hours but has a lovely, enveloping scent bubble for the first few hours. A total love for me.

EmeCé 81

Soapy, angelic, musky.... the almond is barely there to be noticed. It is an easy to wear conforting fragrance. Like smelling a newborn baby who is peacefuly taking a nap. Adorable non ofensive and perfect year around, specially when you want to feel serene and calm.

Sanrio

Loccitane Amande products + the yellow Baby Magic lotion + a whole lot of white musk, very similar to the white musk in l'Instant Magic.

Smells like the mother of a newborn in my opinion. Soft, sweet, delicate, clean, an undeniable undercurrent of baby products.

I suppose I like it, very much a "second skin" fragrance, but it's just not me and I find it a bit boring. There's a whole world of powdery sweet fragrances out there, this is far from my favorite and the musk in the dry down does begin to irritate my sinuses after awhile.

ilayda

I dont know why most people find this springtime. I really find this scent more for fall and winter. Its a soapy marzipan and reminds me of the colder weather but it also smells super clean soapy and fresh. Definitely in my top three of the prada infusions line.

Kroko

Smells like marzipan on a powdery base. Sweet yet sophisticated.

ggdan

It's a soapy base (very similar to Iris Cedre from the same line) with some powdery almond and tonka on top. At first, the almond is kind of a dry, whole one, and on the dry down, it's more of an unsweetened marzipan. I like it, it's creamy and nutty without the sweetness that nutty fragrances often have. I do understand the comments about a Lysol/medicinal note here but personally it doesn't bother me as it's not sharp. It's definitely a skin scent, rather weak. This whole line gives me spa vibes - clean, calm and expensive.

ayken

I somehow expected this to be more outstanding, but it is very subtle and simply boring. More on the soapy side than powdery. It is a fresh almondy type of fragrance.

LuckyDay27

I love this perfume!!! It is in my top 5 either #1 or 2 . It just smells so wonderful and relaxing to me. The best of almond softness out there for me!!

clintjr82

The freshest powdery scent for a man to date, since Prada amber. Clean and Fresh . Almond powdered soap. Slightly generic but in phenomenal way. The notes are blended very good. Iris, almond, tonka and orange blossom is what I get. I found and bought a 3.4oz authentic bottle on ebay for $70. Its a skin scent with moderated projection once sprayed. I received compliments and was asked to write the name down by both women and men. Daniela Andrier the master of iris and powdery scents. I recommend to buy or try.

clairesque

I hated this on the first wear. It literally smelled like baby powder and Lysol for a good hour. On second wear, there's none of the harsh Lysol note. This is a very mild, low projection scent that smells like you just showered with almond-scented soap and there's also a strong powder accord to it. But it's not overly powdery or too mature. However, there's also a faint medicinal note in this that I keep getting whiffs of and it reminds me a lot of the medicated Gold Bond lotion. For that reason I would never purchase or wear this myself, but overall it's a great everyday or bedtime scent.

aljalex

It's a very pleasant clean powdery almond scent, definitely the perfect everyday cozy fragrance for when you want something comforting and very wearable.
It makes me think of a small French village in Provanse, where there's fresh white linen drying in the wind and a scent of fresh marzipan croissants wafting from the local bakery. Simply stunning.

JessVanEgg

It smells like almonds and freshness, and kinda soapy but in a good way. It is definitely perfect to wear on a fresh and sunny day.

The sillage is fairly intimate and it lasts for no more than 6 hours. The scent is slightly more on the feminine side imo. It is a tad bit overpriced.

The scent alone makes it a 8/10 but the price and the sillage/longevity drops it to a 7/10.

Andrina72

If confetti (Jordan Almonds) and Infusion d'Iris had a baby and then heavily powdered it's bum, you'd have Infusion d'Amande. The dry down gets it closer and closer to Infusion d'Iris, but the hint of almond is still in there, so it's not identical in my opinion.

The silage isn't huge, which makes it great for the office, the theater, restaurants, etc. I actually love skin scents - only I and my partner know how good I smell.. and that's all that matters. ;)

Update: Several hours later I have to add that the longevity of this fragrance is impressive. What it may lack in projection, it’s definitely making up for in staying power. Every time I move my arm I get a gorgeous whiff of almond & iris powdery goodness. Love it!

lillybethholmes

I'm working my way through a gift set of all the Infusions, and ahhhh man, this is a wrist huffer! It sits so close to the skin you have to get your snout right in there and huff, but when you do it's a delicious almond delicacy. Soft, powdered, sugared almonds. Not a smack-you-in-the-face almond like Ellie Saab Girl of Now (or GoN Shine) or Poison Girl, but a warm cuddly waft of non-sickly lemon cake made with ground almonds. I know there's no citrus in the notes but there's definitely something fresh there at the opening. Like others say, there's definitely a clean baby powder quality to it, but we're talking expensive finely milled talc, not Johnsons. The heliotrope keeps it light and lively. I really really really really like this one. A whispering gourmand.

Aveline

Everything here should be up my alley, but in all fairness, it just isn't that interesting. Sometimes I pick up the almond extract, sometimes I don't; must either be a hormonal or a temperature thing. Otherwise I'd say this is primarily a powder perfume. Not sweet nor too baby-ish, more musky and clean. I do agree with the other reviewers that it starts out surprisingly sharp. This is one of those scents that while one could not exactly call it strong, you do get surprising whiffs of it out of nowhere or after many hours. I don't need Infusion d'Amande, although I do find my small sample vial enjoyable enough to dab on here and there.

NicoleET88

Edited for brevity, with an added update:
This scent has very little substance. And this is coming from someone who likes my scents to whisper. But after a few minutes there is not much left to listen to.
After posting my initial review I doused myself in another sample vial and 2 hours later was horrified to discover my clothes smelled exactly like fresh baby wipes. Strangely, a little later on there was a lovely, faint almond sweetness and spice coming from my skin. The baby wipe effect was still minimally present, but much diminished, and what was left read as more of a Halo of Cleanliness and purity, then a wet wipe for infants.
Let it suffice to say I have found appreciation for this, but it seems to require slightly warmer skin in order to not fade away to complete nothingness. When it's "working" though, it's very delicate and refreshing, especially when compared with some of the denser, sweeter, vanilla-heavy perfumes I wear. But it really does have *such* poor longevity. And after a brief while there is absolutely no sillage to speak of.

The Prada Infusion DNA runs throughout, but I think the particular notes in this composition just don't have much sticking power in and of themselves. They're all very ethereal, and diaphanous. It makes for a lovely veil after a hot bath, or on a day when other perfumes might prove oppressive. I sprayed some on my pillow a little while before bed the other night, and was gently comforted when I finally laid down to rest. I like it. But if you're looking for a fragrance that will make any kind of statement, this probably is not it.

taylorcake1

Ok this one threw me off at first. I bought a sample because I’ve been blind buying full bottles way too much.

I sprayed it on paper and smelled it with my boyfriend and we both thought diapers, baby wipes, and he even joked that it smelled like adult diapers.

So with his comments I was scared to try the sample on myself but tonight I gave it a try. Instantly on my skin it doesn’t smell how it did on paper. No diapers here thank goodness but maybe a slight baby powder vibe. I definitely detect the almond note being in the forefront. The vanilla and musk are gently standing behind but are noticeable. The powder is swaying in the back softly to an Enya song.

It’s inoffensive, soft, and sophisticated. Creamy and airy. I feel like the bottle suits the juice. Innocent. I think this would be good for someone who prefers fragrances that aren’t too much or too out there. It’s a skin scent with minimal projection and I can tell it won’t last long on me.
I as a consumer love bold and in your face fragrances. My favorites are Decadence, Pink Sugar, and Insolence... So this one just doesn’t hit that excitement factor for me. I probably won’t even use up the sample.

It’s a beautiful and well blended fragrance.
If you are angelic, sophisticated, and soft this one is for you. This is for the angels of the world, and I’m not one of them.

Enjoy Infusion d'Amande my sweet angels, she’s all yours 👼🕊

miarose

I've had this for a while, but am pulling it out now because I feel this works for the winter-to-spring in-between weather. This is soft, powdery almond. I really love that Prada can pull off scents like this. Candy is gourmand, but it's a soft gourmand. Amande is almond heliotrope, but softer, almost a skin scent on me, probably because of the musk base. It actually is the gentler, less gourmand version of Etro Heliotrope, which projects more strongly, particularly with the powdery heliotrope note, and is sweeter due to vanilla (and that one, I believe, is now discontinued). I've not had problems with these lasting on my skin for hours, though I know some people find them fleeting.

Schmellin_Good

Meh. Really disappointed with this one. To me it just smells like original Infusion d'Iris with a soft powdery almond note added. Was hoping for something a bit richer and deeper.

Fleurie20

Share the same ADN with the rest of the Infusion line: light, bright, calm with poor longevity and super poor sillage, which surprisingly does not bother me that much as is usually the case w other fragrances. Maybe it is the fact that I'd spent the first 30 years of my life living in a country located right where the equator is that I come to appreciate these airy, crowd-pleasing Infusion babies so much despite their poor performance in terms of longevity and sillage. On me it is a clean, soothing baby powder kind of scent and it stays that way till I need to reapply (after 30 mins).

I can't think of anyone who would be offended by such calming fragrance.

viannesvs

definition of ‘sophisticated innocence’

fawneyed_sita

I'm ambivalent toward this after sampling it multiple times on my body. The opening has a strong baby powder association, but somewhat sharp/acidic. Then it settles down a little and a subtle sweetness comes out, and this vanillic sweetness, when my nose can actually detect it, is nice. I wish this scent was grounded with more sweet vanillia/tonka notes because I can't seem to enjoy how acidic, sharp, light and airy it is. The chemicalness/sharpness also induces a headache in me. My boyfriend also detests this, as he does most powdery scents. This is not a scent I would invest in a full bottle of and I somewhat struggle to understand its high praise.

5/10

clebermaximo

It has the same powdery quality and makeup-like smell of all the Les Infusions line but the almond is there, creamy and fresh in a certain way. Not too creamy going gourmand, but some controled sweetness and not fresh as citric but maybe a light herbal freshness.
It is not offensive to other people, has limited projection and silage; must be reapplied frequently if you want to keep it alive. Drydown is the same as the Infusion d'Iris.
It goes very well to both sexes.

Coquita

This one's very pretty and relaxing, but not particularly nose-catching. The opening smells like marzipan but then settles to something muskier, with the almond in the background and the heliotrope in command. It didn't last too long though, maybe 6 hours or so. It works on any weather and for every occasion, but I'd recommend it as an autumn scent.

7/10

giakerr

This is not at all what I expected. There are no citrus notes listed, but there is definitely some lemon or bergamot when this opens. Perhaps even some spice like anise. It’s very zesty.
The only almond I get is the dry kind of almond, which is overpowered by the citrus and clean musk, but it’s still whispering in the background somewhat. I get an occasional waft of something reminiscent of heliotrope every now and then. This scent becomes rather powdery and reminds me of Nivea cream. If you like L’Instant Magic, you’ll like this. Overall, it’s kind of ‘meh’ to me. I don’t think it’s deserving of the name as it’s more of a citrus scent than an almond one.

Coquettecrescent

This was my second perfume from the "Infusions" series. I was hoping to find something similar (in delicacy) but also more interesting than the Iris. However, Amande disappointed me. I agree with the L'occitane almond similarities. This is for sure a nice, easy, unisex scent especially for warm weather. I also smell a sharp heliotrope which I find a bit irritating. Very little longevity. Iris is much better.

Klytameistra

Can not smell anything at all on my skin after five minutes. Too bad, the other one infuision d’iris is beautiful.

Kots_Tanya

I love this scent, the most beautiful soft feminine almond. Its creamy and fluffy like a cloud. Soft sillage, longevity isnt too bad for infusion line. I find the whole line being very poor on longevity, but this scent is fully worth it. i cant stop smelling my arm. Its gorgeous. I think its a great bedtime scent.

RosieRose16

I love this scent. It starts out a little bit sharp, almost like a citrusy note but quickly settles into a beautiful creamy almond that I can't get enough of. It's very pretty and feminine - it smells friendly.

It lasts well on my skin but even better on my hair - I can still smell it the next day if I don't wash my hair! Sillage isn't great, but I have been complimented many times so people can smell it.

It smells much better on warm skin - I don't tend to wear in winter as it seems to stay a bit sharp and disappear more quickly in the cold.

Allisonmsmith22

Okay, this is beautiful. I wasn't expecting much but I'm actually in love. Infusion D'Amande is clean, warm and cozy. The almond is not dominating like I thought it might, it is very well blended. The longevity is impressive, lasting on my clothes all day and still on my skin after a shower. Easily likeable and would be acceptable at work.

I'm blown away! I want this scent in a candle, on my sheets, my hair, my clothes... Needless to say I highly recommend!

Swedelish

Very nice. It's clean and LIGHT, like an Eau De cologne rather than an edp really, on a Prada Infusions base. I smell the almond, but it quickly dissipates. In a nutshell it's a clean musky sweet scent, like fresh laundered cotton. It's uplifting & smells of quality like all the Infusions. Not much development beyond that initial burst, but I actually really enjoy it. Feels like Prada Infusion D'Iris modernized a little bit. A very good everyday perfume for those natural beauties who think less is more.

Edit: I think I'm gonna need.a bottle now that I've drained my sample. It's even lovelier than I initially thought and performs better than I thought. It no longer seems appropriate to liken it to Eau De cologne. I am surprised it's EDP though, to me it's like a solid EDT. It projects well the first couple of hours and hangs on the better part of a day. It's extremely pleasant, which is exactly the kind of thing I go for lately.. It marries beautifully with my skin, to the point some might think this is my natural scent several hours after having a shower and applying body creams or oils.

Pixiedust2

Wish I was getting the creamy, powdery almond everyone else is. I bought an 8ml splash and have been testing for two days. It opens very tart and citrusy on me. I get a blast of lemon, not bergamot. And then...a vague nothingness. I'm starting to fear I'm anosmic to some almond scents. Others I smell immediately and get wafts throughout the day. This one has been disappointing. I really can't detect anything but lemon. I get a very slight powder after dry down. I'll keep trying, fingers crossed something magical happens.

Edit: I've tried this two more times and nothing has changed. This smells almost identical to Ellen Tracy Bronze on me. I'm wearing both and the only difference is the Prada is smoother. Considering I paid $7 for the Ellen Tracy, you might seek that one out first and see if you like it.

ronin.jose

It's quite an interesting soft, nutty almond scent. It's lightly sweet because of the almond note, but it never goes toward a gourmand category. It's that soft, clean, powdery, almost cologne-like, synthetic musky base that prevents it from being almondy gourmand. The whole effect kind of reminds me of like a baby smell. But it's not a specific baby product, like say baby powder or baby cologne or lotion. That almond note also suggests an almost woody play-doh smell. The smell also reminds me of a perfume that has been worn on someone. Like when someone's perfume has been stained on their clothes or scarf or jacket, or hair after regular wearings. It smells lived in and worn in. In the end, the dry down smells like a make-up product. Cosmetic-powdery that is vaguely sweet.

musenkata

Dainty, powdery and beautiful. Use it to my bed time usually.

mimette11

The scent is wonderful but sillage is so extremely poor that I can hardly notice it after few minutes, even spraying heavily, so I am not buying it again. Infusion d Iris has a better sillage. It 's a pity.

camden-girl

Daniela Andrier is one of my favourite noses, Prada Candy, infusion d iris edp / absolue... Just to name a few, shes got huge talent...
She has created another charming and beautiful fragrance here ,
A right little wrist sniffer :)
As others say it’s very soft , and I think certain musks I just can’t smell after a while.
My hubby can smell it still long after I can’t however , good news :)

D’Amande ( almond) is sensual and a wispy soft fragrance, a fragrance an angel should sptitz on her wings ...beautiful and sheer.

It makes me think of sugared almond sweets , I’m sure they were whole nut of almonds with a crisp sugar shell that I remember as a child. That’s exactly the scent here.
The advertising is picture of a pretty bottle , soft florals and a watercolour type painting exactly what this comes across like, transparency and a light fluffy sweetness, crystalline like , translucent and shimmering.

I’m not sure it will ever beat my lovely infusion d iris edp, I love the crispy notes of iris, a favourite, but prada infusion d Amande is shining with a soft slightly wavering light and I can’t stop
Spraying and smelling this beautiful wispy fragrance, I just wish it spoke a touch louder , why oh why does it have to be sooo quiet, stillness can be dreamy , this definitely is !

Do try this ! It’s a gem , perfect summer scent :)

Camden-girl.

Edit, oh what a favourite this has become, it’s just lovely, quite addictive,
This has become a top used favourite ! It’s soooo good.

aishmiqru

Ah lovely creamy vanilla, almond, and heliotrope, in a concentration that's delicate and understated.

It opens a bit tart, I detect some bergamot, like in Iris Cédre. The contrast of the bergamot with the rest of the composition is LOVELY. The fragrance is at its best when the creamy vanila-almond sweetness starts to peak out of citrus.

Towards the dry-down, it becomes cozy, sweet and powdery. Like a watercolor veil of comfort. Lasts insanely long. It also seems to withstand the shower.

cocofluff

Lovely one! It has the prada infusions DNA underneath a nutty blend of almond and tonka. I also smell a creamy musk and a dirty mimosa. I think the mimosa note I'm smelling is just a bit overripe and indolic. This one is definitely the most unique of the line. Very feminine.

It's tranquil and silky. Very cozy and fluffy somehow. After a while it gets powdery. Low silage and longevity. Smells fantastic. It's just one the not for me. You MUST love MIMOSA to enjoy this perfume! -

pnw_pluviophile

Overall this is a positive review, and I'm writing it because I wear this enough that I feel compelled to review it. I like to wear this scent when Lolita Lempicka seems too heavy but I want a hit of sweet & spicy star anise with luscious almond and Tonka Bean. The heliotrope doesn't always come through for me. Sometimes I smell it in the dry down, and sometimes I don't. The price isn't bad for the quality; right now it sells for around $75 at Walmart for 3.4 oz. I don't own a full bottle but have a ton of free samples and once/if I run out of it I wouldn't pay for a full bottle regardless. The notes are so simple, and it is one of those 'safe' fragrances that I can reach for when I'm at a loss on what to wear. I am a strong believer though that interesting fragrances are so abundant now with so many niche, smaller houses and most are reasonably priced and just as good of quality. Just do a search on Etsy, or Lucky Scent for almond or vanilla and get a bunch of samples from houses you've never tried before, and spend your money expanding your perfume knowledge rather than on a safe, big name label perfume like this one.

nika21

It's a perfect creamy-powdery blend. It starts with a marzipan, sweet and a bit bitter and continues in the Infusion d'Iris-like way. On the drydown there's a slight playdoh smell - but not synthetic (probably heliotrope), which I love. Sillage is very soft as mentioned before, lasting power depends on how much and where you spray it. I used quite a lot and still get whiffs of it 8 hours later.

MixedTastes

This opens with strong almond and anise on my skin. The effect is like some sort of Italian biscuit: buttery, lightly spiced - I almost smell ginger - and definitely gourmand. This stage is short lived on me, though.

The dry down comes quickly and is where it’s at it for me. Almond & heliotrope, rich and creamy, yet soft and light. I wouldn’t say this is a particularly powdery perfume, as others have noted, although that may be because I’m desensitised to subtle powdery notes, being a lover of powder bombs such as Teint de Neige and Love, Chloe.

This feels lightly creamy rather than powdery to me, and has a quality I love in some fragrances, which is that although it’s quite shy and stays close to the skin it lingers and lingers like a delicate cloud around the wearer. I have a small dab bottle of this that I use to perfume my hair and scarf and the scent lasts for days, albeit very gently.

Lovely, lovely fragrance. I would immediately buy a full bottle of this, but it seems only to be available in 100mls, which I fear I would never get through with my growing collection to choose from. I hope to always have a little decant, though.

kumquat2

Oh my God....this is simply everything I could want in a perfume. It's cuddly, soft, tender, sweet but just barely sweet, elegant, long-lasting, and absolutely gorgeous. It's as if Infusion d'Iris and Guerlain L'Instant Magic had a shy child together that in spite of its lovely lineage made both parents look insipid in comparison. And I love both those perfumes a lot! But this one is less sweet than the Guerlain and less cold and powdery than the D'Iris. it lasts a good six hours or more on my skin and while it sits close to the skin you get whiffs of it as you move. Understated, elegant, and smile-inducing. Incredible.ǹ

Mooniq

I love D'Amande. I also love Infusion D'Iris and Amande does remind me alot of D'Iris. Amande is a bit sweeter, a bit softer, a bit more skinclose but my clothes smells good also day after. I think some people think Amande dissapears after a short while - but Amande gets in to your clothes and skin and its there, like a ghost around you, and I love scents that behaves like a ghost - its there, it gone, and there again.

Emma92

I had the exact same experience as the reviewer below! This was love at first sniff for me and unusually I bought it on the spot. I am not disappointed. It is heaven for me! I adore heliotrope and this is the right level of sweetness. It is really unusual and comforting - a very favourite of mine. I adore it!

Papavero0

Incredible. It was one of those rare few that I just had to buy on the spot. Infusion d'Iris is one of my favorite scents and I love almonds so I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. It is so calming, soothing, relaxing feel-good... like an experience of aromatherapy...

clintjr82

Prada is number one in the powdery fresh scent category, this one is super fresh and clean gourmandish like no other. Its very low key catchy. I like it as a man and my lady agrees. Its more for a woman. This smells sexy and fresh on her and equal on me according to her. This is the best one in the line. Buy it or try it.

ariaxu15

This smells really pretty... At first. It was like a floral kind of almond at first then it quickly turned into a disgusting powdery mess on my skin. It's probably just my chemistry. ☹️ Really wanted this to work for me but unfortunately the smell turns unbearable in a matter of minutes.
It lasts long on the skin though.

lmwimsatt

This is a truly beautiful perfume. I love to mix this with infusion d rose, the result being somewhat of a non sweet poison girl. Prada must use the finest ingredients ever, as they just can't seem to go wrong

DulciusExAsperis

Still on the hunt for my #1 almond.

The almond note in Amande is pretty, but it's just too powdery for me. In fact, after about 20 minutes it's just straight ahead baby powder. Not my jam.

mocou

Why, why, why, why?!
It is soft and perfect, but soo faint, it is so close to the skin-
I get that it's yummy- but Skin please don't swallow it up before I can catch a proper whiff! That's selfish!
I don't know if the tester bottle had turned, but for it's price I wish it would last a little longer on me.
A really elegant soft almond.

Sevparfumaddict

Perfect pillow scent. Like hugging arms.

Lilacs&Lavender

Cuddly, sooo cuddly. This is the perfect fragrance to wear to bed on a cold rainy night and snuggle down with a good book, or an even better lover.

_christine_

The almond is very clear in the top note, but the dry down is Infusion d'Iris + Heliotrope. This is very delicate and soft, but it still has some projection. Long after I think it's gone, other people can smell it.

I always forget how much I like this one until someone mentions it on the forums. It's forgettable somehow.

tessture

Very much Infusion d'Iris, but with marzipan and soft powder. I REALLY like, even though it's really not that different from IdI and I normally hate powdery notes. It's like my beloved IdI in mood mood and feel but softer and more cozy. That being said, it can change depending on probably weather, diet and chemistry, because on some days it develops a hairspray note as well that ruins the cozy comfort. I've purchased a mini. We'll see how fast I go through that before I commit to hunting down a full bottle. I suspect it hasn't been a huge hit for Prada; for the price, it's not fantastic and it's so very similar to Infusion d'Iris that it's almost redundant, except for the strong powder notes (talc, not baby powder, luckily).

emi_artist

Very similar to Les Nereides Fleur Poudree de Musc, and a posh cousin to the Body Shop's White Musk, this is a musky, slightly sweaty, powdery vanilla with a 1990s vibe. Cute if a bit done-to-death, Prada could have arguably done better.

Cellophane93

I blind-bought this because I like Prada's soapy-minimalistic fragrance ethos and was also intrigued by the heliotrope note. I'm so glad I picked it up! This one works so well for me. It starts a bit sharp, cold, and powdery, and then quickly dries down to the most wonderful - almost marshmallow-y - dusty sweetness. Not at all candy-sweet or sticky. This is elegant, cool, and cotton-like, completely unisex, super long-lasting but also unobtrusive. I get about eight hours of soft sillage from it and wear it whenever I want to smell starched and freshly-bathed but not perfume-y. Definitely great for the office or all-day professional events.

Rising_Phoenix

I bought a tiny little sample bottle of this with another purchase not too long ago. I finally got around to trying it, and I love it! I'm a very big gourmand woman and so anything with edible notes automatically draws my attention. I love almonds, I love almond milk, I love almond pudding and I also love marzipan. So this really was a no-brainer. Also, may I add that the combo of tonka bean and musk can elevate any perfume into ecstasy. They're another kind of perfume-power couple. I reviewed Tous Bonjour Señorita yesterday and listed passion fruit/coconut as a perfume power-couple as well.
When I first sprayed it on, it was very powdery. Like, as in I got flashbacks two actual baby powder. Which, was not really a bad thing, since it's a very pleasant smell. Then, about five minutes later once the alcohol had all evaporated, I was left with this very soft and gentle deliciousness on my skin. The almond and the vanilla are just beautiful together. I'm going to say it...I smell like a gourmet amaretto cupcake with marzipan icing...and I'm TOTALLY okay with that.
I highly recommend this perfume if you want something that's a little bit sweet but not overpowering. If you want a touch of gourmand without ending up with something stronger than you can stomach. I'm going to play around with this one a little bit in try layering it with some of the other ones that I have. I'll let you know if I come up with some fantastic combos.

peeachediva

This is a truly beautiful perfume. ON me, the almond starts really strong, but then goes to the background during the day. It seems to change/evolve in the course of the day. This is a PERFECT perfume for Fall, but for me, must be used sparingly. For some reason, this DOES last through the day.

Delightfully, I can smell it during the day, and it's very gentle. I don't smell the anise as itself, but I think that it tempers out the scent to give a mysterious ambience to the overall atmosphere.

When I wear it, I receive many compliments and I have been told that it has a gentle sweetness- not cheap, as well as a powdery gentleness ( not like baby powder).

As mentioned by Babygia,, I think that the iris balances it out, too. I don't think of this as a gormonde on me, but more of changing atmosphere. I love it!!!

I thought I reviewed this, but turns out I just talked about it on the forum.
Basically I just want to say that this became my most complimented fragrance, and it is unbelievable.
I purchased it because I love Prada and it has everything I love in a fragrance: Is not sharp, is feminine, not loud but still people notice it.
So very happy with this one. Very classy

You know that almond marzipan note, almost cherry-like and sometimes synthetic? Well, this is none of that.

This almond is green, bitter and inviting; cool and mouthwatering. More than anything I'm reminded of Galliano on ice especially with that bite of spicy anise lending a licorice like edge, but this whole composition is less sweet than a liqueur. Tonka adds a bit of bittersweetness as herbal haylike coumarin.

Infusion d'Amande is aromatic and cool, refreshing but with a sensual heart, contrasted with the smoothness of heliotrope. This is aloof and sexy for either male or female. It reminds me of my old friend Krizia in the white conical bottle but without the vanilla. This, Infusion d'Amande, I do like better. Additionally, as pepperoniann observes, this is reminiscent of an unsweetened Lolita Lempicka.

Like Krizia, this is a little haunting, alien like. It reminds me of the cosmos and quiet in an alluringly sterile way. Minimialist architecture features in the composition of this fortifying tonic.

Sugandaraja

A very delicate almond, heliotrope, and iris scent, with a cool, frosty quality nicely balanced against powder. The dry down is a clean, white musk with a slight latex-like quality.

Like most of the Infusions, a fairly simple scent, but well made and easy to wear.

Prada's Infusion d'Amande is a delicate and powdery almond scent which is perfectly unisex and very easy to wear. It shares a few similarities with the original Infusion d'Iris, however it is more nutty and dusty than floral.

I love the scent of almond. It adds a gourmand feel without going overboard with the sweetness. Infusion d'Amande is a very well blended fragrance which is neither overbearing nor synthetic. It reminds me a little of the now discontinued Jour de Fete from L'Artisan Parfumeur.

Although this fragrance has good projection, it settles almost like a creamy skin scent. I found the top notes to be very carefree and powdery, however the drydown was a little richer with spicy anise, musk and tonka bean.

If I happened to own a bottle of Infusion d'Amande I would tend to reach for it most during Autumn or Winter. The almond sits a little too heavy on my skin for me to consider wearing it during the warmer months. The longevity was also superb lasting a full eight hour day on my skin. I even caught subtle wafts of Infusion d'Amande as I had my evening shower.

I was curious about the series of Prada Infusion perfumes as I absolutely love the original Prada Iris Infusion and the extrait formula of that as well. However these ones are expensive so before splurging on a full size bottle, I bought a sample vials set that included, this Amande, Fleur d'Orange, Vetiver, Iris Cedre. These are tiny vials, like the already small short vial was only 60% full, so I had to spray sparingly and sniff my arm very often to judge accurately. Amande has a delicate almond contained in a light bergmot background for the top notes. Then the signature powderiness of Iris Infusion comes through and lasts for a while then it warms into a warm skin scent. I love the delicacy and refinement of the almond in that it never becomes gourmand but is a wispy ethereal note on top of the powdery base. I love this but it is very similar to iris infusion in the background all the other ones are too. I feel that people who don't necessary like Iris infusion or powdery perfumes might not like this as the almonds might not be as dominant as they might like.

This is a brilliant composition. I wasn't expecting myself to be flattered at all means, but I am sold.

The opening is a cool, unsweetened powder of almond and heliotrope. Like its older sister Iris it's got an airy quality, making this the opposite of say Shalimar L'Initial, which is dense, sweet, and more "puffy" than "fluffy" per se.

As Amande dries down musk shows up --- still not the warm type, but cool, abstract layer of musk that is neither animalic nor vegetal. Just when I think the overall effect is too "cold" as a perfume, the anise note surfaces, and oh my is it lovely. The soft spicy anise note matches perfectly with the musk and allows the powder to quietly land on your skin.

This is a very quiet scent, but it says more than it appears to be. I find it more expressive and complicated than L'Eau d'Hive in terms of development, however you have to notice its whispers.

EDIT: after a day I just realized it smells like unsweetened Lolita Lempicka! That's what it is.

άρωμα

Lovely, nice, very soft. Someone would say it is feminine, but I wouldn't.
To me it is genderless because it's so tender. It's more like a baby's scent. The only cont is that it's sillage is minimale, but the longevity is actually great.

It's more like a cologne with a perfume longevity. If you dislike almond or amaretto notes you should try it.

Pretty!

Not earth shattering, which is not what you expect from the infusion series.

It's a lovely light, almondy/marzipan, nutty woody scent. Slightly powdery, slightly but not too sweet, very gentle and soothing. I like it!
To me it's the perfume equivalent of goat's milk soap - gentle, caressing.

It's not a patch on Infusion d'Iris, which I've loved since 2008, but Amande comes in 3rd after Fleurs d'Oranger. I find these excellent daytime, easy to wear scents which have a light elegance, of course it depends on your taste, for some these will seem too light, or lacking distinctiveness (and I would go for something more distinct for evening). I may buy this one too. The only one I haven't tried is Infusion d'Tubereuse though that seems to be discontinued.

Infusion d'Amande seems vaguely similar in mood and feel to Narciso Poudre or Iris Prima - it has a certain delicacy without being too simple. These elegant slightly retro powdery scents seem to be a trend these days.

Sillage light to moderate, longevity - skin scent if sprayed lightly, though would probably project more if also sprayed on clothes and hair

After reading some reviews I was hoping for a lovely, delicate almond fragrance but instead all I can smell is a lighter version of Infusion d'Iris. I find it a bit soapy and and unisex, quite disappointing.

Edemay

Fell in love with this as soon as i smelt it.
Innocent, soft and sweet.
But only after 5 min that initial magic disappeared, and this because a very weak, dry heliotrope.
The scent lingered but was very close to the skin.
Asked my boyfriend to smell it. Unfortunately he thought it smelt like old lady.
Guess ill be passing on this one, the first spray is beautiful, but dry down in not.

Almond lovers gather 'round!

I got to smell this today and fell in love! It's not easy coming across almond perfumes and many are very understated. This is a gourmand that is light and not heavy; a gourmand for those who usually do not like edible fragrances and will find this delightfully satisfying. The almond note is very pronounced and slightly bitter like real grounded almonds. It smells powdery, milky, and slightly fresh with a soft floral touch. I don't find this overly sweet so if you are looking for a candied almond this is not it.

Reminds me of L'Occitane Amande body line and a lot of Guerlain L'Instant Magic except L'InstantMagic is sweeter and more baby powder.

Quite long lasting on my skin. Strong almonds, classy and everyday wear. Must have!

Chelsea1605

Mmm powdery, almondy and something in there that keeps making me come back for more. Must be the heliotrope note that I haven't smelt before. Lovely!

ellina1984

Blast of bitter almond at the top, then Infusion d' iris with a heliotrope note. The family resemblance is so striking! Safe if you love Infusion d' iris and bitter almond.

Miciwoo

I can't smell it within 10 minutes but colleagues can smell it all day...Apparently! Love it!

cologneblanche

Love this so much. Such a beautiful transparent scent that is very comforting.

Lucy Peach

Absolutely love this crisp, fresh fragrance, especially in the beginning when the almond is prominent. It has anise and the cool classic Prada Infusion. Softest musk and light spiciness in the dry down. It's pricey considering it doesn't last too long and scent remains quite close to the skin but this is definitely a purchase for me in the near future! Gorgeous.

ruski-lady

I tried this today and really love the scent - smells like warm almond meal or almond cookies. Very cozy and inviting, with the distinct prada quality about it. It does seem to be very much a skin scent and is quite faint after 6 hrs of wear. That would probably be my only hesitation in purchasing this. Would be incredible if the sillage was a touch stronger. Perhaps a good work scent.

Babygia

Beatiful, creamy/powdery very sophisticated creation. Very citric fresh sensation at beginning- i guess , the Anise gives this vibe - follows very quick with almond and gorgeous, cotton soft heliotrope. But there is much more, and i know, the creators unveil not exactly whole " recipe", just a few key ingredients. But this one has a clear signature of the classic infusion. There is undoubtfully a generous amount of powdery iris too , for sure .
Drop dead gorgeous , gourmandy dragee , but high class Prada quality.
This is soft, whispering fragrance, elegant and cozy, but longevity is- at least on my skin and by almost + 40 celsius really good.
Worth every penny.

Jasminalia

No sillage, but lovely !
