I rarely say this but I find this fragrance nauseating. I scrubbed it off imediately. It is waaaay too sweet, I smell nothing except some weird blueberry jam scent? No salt, no vanilla. Such a shame! I love the OG so much.

perfumefixation

This was an instant 10/10 on the spray card I was so excited and immediately sprayed on my skin. This is the first perfume that went sour & stale on me & im crushed. She dries down to an off wine scent mixed with cat pee but still smells delicious on the card😩😩

My nephew, when younger, was a bit fussy about his food, so when he visited I checked with my sister, and presented him with a dinner that included ingredients he had eaten before with no bother. He hesitated before eating, and when I told him that his mother had said he would be ok with it, he said he liked all of the ingredients, but didn't know if he liked them all together. And I find myself, after testing this perfume, agreeing with him. I find that the plum and apricot notes, are cloying and heavily syrupy and, unfortunately, stay with me the whole time I am wearing this perfume - it just doesn't change. I have tried, after leaving it for a month or so, to go back to this and wear it again, but I just can't. I really don't like it at all.

Long time fan of all Olympeas! At the time of the release, Olympea was a standout scent in designers world. Nothing quite like her to my knowledge.

Olympea Legend is a more intense, spicier, fruitier, amberier version of OG Olympea! It’s strong, it’s different, it’s bold and it commands attention. It’s your fall and winter Olympea.

Also, as a funny fact, there were a couple of times when people smelled me wearing Olympea Legend and said that I smell like plums compote. Which I adore eating, by the way! So it certainly has a major gourmand accent, unlike the original Olympea.

Does Olympea Legend really smell like plum compote? Not in my opinion. It’s too salty, spicy, tangy, vanilla/amber heavy and nuanced to be reduced to something so simple. If I need to compare it to something food related, I would say it smells like boozy plums, like a delicious plum macerated in some sort of whiskey! Besides the star of the scent for some, the plum, Legend has a beautiful apricot note, tonka beans, ginger, salt and lots of amber. Smells like it had some resins in the base, but that’s my personal assumption, there’s nothing resins like listed as a note.

Unlike 90% of designers released in the last ten years, Olympea Legend has a very recognisable, distinctive scent DNA. It could be as simple as opposing some intense fruits against salt and ginger, or it could be something in the way it’s blended and balanced.
Whichever it’s the reasoning, it’s a great fragrance, reasonably priced, with phenomenal performance, good sillage that gets me all sorts of compliments!

If all this sounds interesting, give Olympea Legend a sniff, it’s easily accessible in most perfumes shops and Sephoras. Paco Rabanne might surprise you in a positive way every once in a while! This designer scent smells like a mass appealing niche perfume!

This is my third time wearing this and I find the dry down of this is quite nice- a sweet warm vanilla floral with a touch of saltiness that I find very comforting. BUT that opening is rough, and it lasts about 30 minutes to an hour- with a thick, full bodied, overly sweet fruitiness. This is my first time trying an Olympea, I think I might need to check out the original and the other flankers.

SnowIce

This is heavy stuff! Thick caramel salt vanilla. Not for everyone. I love it! Great value and longevity.

Vicky Medrano

This is VERY boozy. I'm shocked there's no wisky or rum listed here. I get coconut, apricot, spicy ginger, powdery sweet vanilla, and lots of wisky or rum. The boozy aspect of the fragrance is what defines it, in my opinion.

Rozalina

Dried fruit overload! I mostly sense lots and lots of plum, a little bit of apricot, and not much else. I wouldn’t be able to tell this was an Olympea flanker if it wasn’t in the name. I almost blind bought this so many times, I’m glad I found a travel spray because it’s not for me. The original Olympea is sexier, more feminine and more unique.

Fruit-chan

This reminds me Cheirosa 71 and Un bois vanille, but more tolerable than those. This is actually pleasant.
Powdery vanilla and dried plum.
Long lasting.Ok projection.

kznvq

Really sweet apricot scent. Had this for awhile but ended up giving to my grandma lol

Queen_esther

I wish I could experience again smelling this flanker for the 1st time. It was the exact scent I had always been seeking but never actualized. I had the og olympea and felt like it was lacking. This is the dreamy warm beachy salted caramel of my dreams. This is what got me eternally hooked onto the tonka amber vanilla notes and I seek them out in every fragrance. There's always a backup in my drawer and I've noticed the 80mls are always out of stock. Its devastating that they discontinued this gem. The only perfume I've been chased around asking what it is multiple times. We're basically married 😂

nukleo777

One of my favorite perfumes. The opening is nicely blended, plum and salt are first you smell. Vanilla is base note but I can smell it for hours. Literally, 15 minutes after spraying until it disappears. All my scarves smell like this fragrance as I like to wear it in winter. It is so comforting. Sweet, sweet, sweet!!

Kalimi

Olympea legend is a sweet sweet perfume and for some strange reason reminds me of Lataffa Nebras

Magnapinna

Salted caramel pretzel-vanilla-cupcake-pastry-thing. Simple but cute. Definitely wouldn't be able to stand it if it wasn't for the saltiness, but with it it's made it to my collection. Well balanced and comforting, provided you don't overspray.
A lot of people call it sexy and I'm not sure if i see it that way. I do see how other people would call it that but i don't know if i myself would put that word on the table... it's more "cozy cuddling" than "awooga bang bang" to me i guess?

Technically this is not a gourmand, but i would put it in that box without thinking twice. I've never been one to appreciate gourmands but this worked. It reminds me of VS Coconut Passion, but it lasts much longer of course and is less coconutty, better blended, warmer, deeper.
I always thought that coconut passion was pretty mellow on the coconut either way, I mean it's in the name, it should be more prevalent, but it's mainly warm vanilla.

Back to Olympea, there's some fruitiness that i just can't identify wafting a little throuought the day, some kind of red berry? I suppose it may be apricot. But it's not a main character at all anyway.
There's also a little booziness. I Wouldn't be able to describe it further, i just drink carton wine. I'm an economy flyer in alcohol airlines. And i'm not so sure i can smell the "sand"...

It's Christmassy in a sense. I would like a little (or a lottle) gingerbread to complete the cliché.
I don't believe fervently in tying perfumes to specific seasons, but i would be very afraid to put this on if the weather's any higher than 23C...
This is quite long lasting, i can smell it over 24 hours most of the time i wear it. Proceed wisely.

Beagn

Please like my comment if you smell coconut in it cause I do and it’s not listed.
I can’t be going crazy??

Leiryan

I love this scent so much, is so warm and comforting. Unfortunately is discontinued here in Europe :(. If someone is selling it I would love to buy it :)

Sticky Sweet Syrup-y Apricots, Salt & Tonka...

This flanker is a sweeter, denser and less floral version of the original Olympéa. Opens with a burst of syrup-y apricot & plum, accented with salt and faint sunscreen-coconut nuances. As it transitions to the heart, soft floral tones emerge along with ginger-flower, but already the vanilla & tonka are swelling through. Tonka here leans to its powdery, fruity-tobacco/fruity-pie nuances. In the base, additional amber ties everything together, along with a sand note. For me the sand note has a slightly grainy texture along with a beachy sunscreen-coconut nuance that can be detected from the opening. Overall, this is a sticky sweet fruity vanilla with faint beachy tones which give it versatility for year round wear. The performance is excellent, and could even cut through cold winter air. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

isa_priore

ilnomedelliris

smells like overly sweet apricot-plum jam

canabena

First impressions its very Jammy, warm, sweet fragrance. I get the vanilla and the plum is very heavy on this one. While I prefer the OG Olympea its more my vibe but I do like this flanker. This has not wowed me but I believe it would make for a nice date night scent. It's too jammy for warm or day time wear in my opinion. To me it pulls a bit more mature but with a modern twist so all in all its nice but not a love or need. I don't think I would repurchase when this bottle is finished but it could grow on me I will update my review accordingly.

KillerBee123

Beautiful!
This one was a bling buy, the perfume is slightly confused as having 4-5 tequila shots at midnight for no reason.
It is sweet, yummy, warm and sensuous.
Strangely enough it stays close to the skin, at least on me.
Rabanne have discontinued this one as well so if you like it - look for it before it is gone.

Perfect Beach Fragrance, I live by the sea, so I know! Stunning in hot beachy weather. Sun kissed skin and Olympea Legend, one can't go wrong. Simply the best beach fragrance, oh and yes, I smell coconut too 🥥🥥🌴🌴🌴👌❤️

WifeyPink

What happened?? 💔 I absolutely loved & adored this beautiful warm plum perfume when I first got it about 2 years ago, I even got a backup bottle. Well now it smells like someone poured a bottle of cheap tequila in my legend bottles.. like straight up liquor when u spray it now with maybe a drop of the legend perfume that I loved so much. I had other perfumes stored next to my olympea legend (in a dark closet) none of the others have turned, just legend and it seriously smells like I'd get arrested for a DUI or Public Intoxication if I dared to wear this out in the world. The word boozey doesn't do it justice. Curious...Has anyone else had this most disappointing unfortunate experience with their Legend bottles?

Nish97

Omg! This is so delicious. It’s such a unique gourmand. Nothing like I’ve smelt before. A very warm and inviting sexy perfume.
The plum is very prominent with a dense, sticky, slightly salted vanilla. (smells like salted caramel) and soft florals in the background. The added tonka note in the base makes it smell so sexy. It opens boozy and quickly settles to a creamy, rich vanilla and tonka sweetness. Completely different from the OG and the other flankers.

I don’t understand all the hate for this perfume.
Yes, it is very sweet and I can’t stand extremely sweet, thick, honey-dense type of scents but this is not intolerable. Just don’t keep digging your nose into your skin and please use your better judgement while spraying this perfume. Don’t spritz 10 sprays all over and complain about how it’s nauseating. The way you spray this fragrance can make or break it. And ofc, if you’re someone who hates sweet fragrances, don’t buy this.

It’s also very strong and has a monstrous projection. Two sprays and you’re good to go.
I love it so much.
10/10.

lickroicevanille

Absolutely repulsive. Not similar to the OG or any other Olympea flankers.
Smells like something old, rotting fruit and vodka. First perfume ever that really made me gag.

haus0fXI

I absolutely love the OG Olympea, and decided to explore the flankers. I’ve smelt Solar but don’t own it but I’ve been eyeing this for awhile and finally got it. This was a blind purchase.

This fragrance is not similar to the OG at all.
Legend is so much more complex, boozy, warm and sexier.

Think of OG Olympea as the young, bubbly sister that is super girly and Legend is a mature sister that is mysterious, very opinionated and sophisticated.

If you’re not a fan of syrupy or boozy scents, steer clear. I get plum, apricot and sand notes on me while my boyfriend smells coconut.

Legend makes me appreciate the Olympea line so much because while the OG is salty, fresh, floral and playful— Legend is the total opposite: Warm, boozy, fruity, mature.

Edit: 9 hours later and this is still strong on my skin and shirt. Sorry OG Olympea, but Legend is my new signature scent.

perfume_angel

This is amazing and so unique! It’s a very syrupy summer gourmand fragrance. If I smelt this blindly I would assume it was a niche fragrance because it’s so creative and not your ordinary everyday scent😍

It smells like salted caramel (emphasis on salted) with dried fruits ontop. Maybe dried apricots or dried plums. Delicious! It’s so sweet and delicious but also salty at the same time. It also has a waxy syrupy salted caramel candle vibe! I also get whiffs of a sandy smell. So imagine you are sitting on hot sand next to the waves eating a vanilla ice cream cone that has a generous amount of salted caramel sauce on-top, and you’re eating canned peaches or apricots on the side. If you love sweet and salty you will love this one! 🍮🧂🍑🏖️

Also, this is VERY potent and long lasting. 2 sprays will have you smelling like a snack all day long. And the projection is crazy everyone will smell you.

Again, gorgeous gorgeous fragrance and so delicious and polarising. I would say this is definitely not a safe blind buy so test it out before you commit to a full bottle. It’s reminiscent of the original Olympea, but only with the salty vanilla aspect. Otherwise, they are VERY different. So if you love thick syrupy sweet fragrances with a salty touch, then try this one.

Ps. Probably my favourite Olympea flanker

jadeypink19

I can’t smell any vanilla in this at all and it doesn’t smell floral, sweet or fruity either. On me it smells like a salty, sandy, ginger and amber fragrance. I would describe the smell as sharp. It doesn't smell ‘bad’ but a bit meh.

JenAvery

I purchased this Parfum on a trip to Mexico, it smells like jammy salted plum on my skin. It’s a bit spicy in the beginning, it’s warm and luscious. It’s different then most perfumes I choose so it’s a nice change every once in a while when I’m “rosed” out. It was great in the warm salty air of Mexico and it reminds me of a tropical vacation while I’m at home in the gloom of Seattle.

joeyj0jo

I love this! I picked up a tester for a very good price -- the batch code indicates it's over four years old, so perhaps my experience will be slightly different from those with a fresher batch. The longevity is good but doesn't project as much as I anticipated. I'm pretty sure you could get away with wearing this all year round, day or night.

I don't own the OG Olympea but I have tested it in-store. I like Legend a lot more -- it is a more complex, sophisticated scent. I don't find it overly sweet, the plum is noticeably boozy, and the sand note adds a dryness that grounds the fragrance. I have worn it constantly the last couple of days, and only once did I randomly notice the coconut note some other reviewers have mentioned -- it came out a few hours after spraying, and it was a pleasant surprise.

I'm pretty sad this is discontinued and will probably get harder and harder to find. I am considering getting a backup bottle.

AnlisaC

Love this! Any time of year! Smells amazing, niche quality!

SereneWerewolf

This opens very similarly to the Victoria’s Secret perfume Love which also mixes a dry, fresh note (cotton) with a stone fruit note (apricot). In the case of Olympea there is the addition of plum and the dry, fresh notes are salt and sand.

It doesn’t smell immediately beachy in the beginning. Just pleasantly sweet and pointedly fresh and clean in a fruity dryer sheet type of way which I’m finding I am quite partial to. With wear, it begins to bloom. The ginger warms things up and mixes with the deep, rich plum. The warm, spiced plum becomes syrupy to the point of being almost boozy in purely evocative manner. The salt note is strong and permeates the fragrance thoroughly. Creamy vanilla blends everything together.

Ultimately this ends up smelling like having been out at the beach all day sometime in between the changing of seasons from summer to fall. You’ve come home and showered and dried off but the smell of salt still clings to you. You wear a soft, clean, cozy robe and you’re enjoying some sort of warm plum sangria as you watch the sunset. As a chill develops in the air, you remain feeling warm and at ease.

I like this a lot. It’s a specifically darker take on a beachy fragrance and is best suited as an easy reach for summer nights or as a transitional summer to fall fragrance. I’ve been really enjoying wearing it lately to keep up the summer spirit despite the June gloom my region has been experiencing. I expect I’ll make many fond memories with this one.

prerana20

Olympea Legend was my first ever designer perfume and for that it has a special place in my heart. I knew I wanted to buy an Olympea, I just couldn't figure out which one. So I started off with Legend and let me tell you, it kick started my passion for perfumes.

It opens into a slightly spicy, smooth boozy plum. Right after, I get a whiff of the sea salt. Quickly, it dries down into a creamy, salty vanilla. The amber deepens the scent and it's a beautiful harmony of the notes.

This will remain in my collection forever. It gets noticed by my friends and colleagues when I spray it on and has great longevity. I can't get enough of this one <3

bloodyheartofparadise

i blind bought olympea legend after reading lots of reviews describing it as a dark boozy syrupy fruity gourmand with excellent strength and performance and to be honest i'm quite disappointed. i get sweet sticky tropical and almost coconut like fruity plum liqueur notes at first with a warm slightly salted vanilla/amber in the background and whilst it's very pleasant and interesting this perfume is let down by its dreadful performance. i have absolutely no idea how people are describing this as a beast mode perfume because it lasts on my skin less than an hour and i'm having to really shove my nose to my wrists to smell anything at all after 20 minutes. thankfully it lasts much better on clothing if over sprayed but i'm not impressed with the performance at all, it's definitely one of the weakest in my collection. if you're wanting an olympea that truly is beast mode then definitely go for the intense, i can still smell that on my skin the following day!

Kiwigoddess

This fragrance is absolute beast mode on me. It projects well and lasts longer than your ex! I put it on at 10am and could still smell it at 3am when I went to bed and then when I woke up at 11am. No need to touch this perfume up throughout the day...unless you're planning on suffocating everyone around you.

Very gourmand, I detect a strong coconut smell in the opening. Although the note pyramid doesn't list it, it is either definitely a note in the make up of the fragrance, or else the combination of the tonka bean and another note are creating a coconut-like note scent. Once it dries down, it is an extremely sweet, predominantly tonka bean gourmand. Don't be fooled by those who say it is a beach scent as I cannot imagine anything worse than how cloying this would be in the peak of the midday heat (unless of course the whole idea is for it to wash off when you go swimming), I strongly suggest getting a sample first and if this perfume works for you, then price wise, it's relatively cheap because it has fantastic performance.

scent.2go

Such a nice one! I love it! That plum is so sweet, almost sticky and that why it is so beautiful. Then wanilla join the party and little bit af salt. Love this combo. I smell it all day on me

silverlocusts

While I liked the overall scent, with its smoky-fruity-vanilla vibe, I couldn’t not smell vanilla custard vape juice. I gave mine to a friend and they like it. If you’re into frags like Fenty and LDBS, you need to smell this as it could be a nice daily driver.

vinegarsyndrome

I expected to like this and I do, but I was hoping it would be a daytime plum perfume. It's extremely heady to the point of drunkenness - I'm drowning in tart, sweet plum syrup. On first sniff the fermented malt note reminded me of an old bar that's absorbed a thousand spilled drinks. After 2 hours it's become a warm salty caramel vanilla. Recreates the sexy, loose experience of downing a delicious fruity cocktail then feeling the warmth spread throughout your body.

bringprivateaccordback

I absolutely love this - just might be my favourite scent of all time. the sweetness of vanilla and fruits mixed with the edginess of amber, ginger and tonka bean makes this intoxicating. suits any weather and season, giving luxurious vibes for any occasion. love!

edit: this has become my favourite fragrance of all time. undeniably luxurious and elegant but still comforting in its sweetness. incredible during summer time, but still suits any season. was so sad to find out this was discontinued and thought that I'd have to be very sparing with the partial bottle I have. but stars aligned today and I just picked a full 80ml bottle with original box for 20€. couldn't be happier - if you have this beauty in your collection don't take it for granted!!!

ArsinoeHelena

Olympea Legend seemed like not being up my alley: too much vanilla, combined with tonka, I thought. Surprisingly, I like it a lot! I love the lush fruityness, touch of salt and sand. I don't know how they are created, but this is a summer beach scent for me, despite all the vanilla. It smells like Mediterranean.

RRouge23

Creamy salty plum coconut and vanilla. It doesn’t say coconut in the notes but I can smell it!!! It is surprisingly beautiful in warm weather. It smells very edible. Very rich and luxurious as well, and it projects like crazy! I didn’t like it at first sniff but it grew on me fairly quickly. Now I crave it randomly. I love sweet and plummy fragrances. It’s the strongest of all the Olympeas I have (the original, intense, Aqua legere and this one), and it dries down to the most delicious vanilla and Tonka bean scent with sand notes. Definitely a beach night scent for me. But be warned, this is not for everyone. The salt note is LOUD in the beginning and it cuts the heaviness of the plum. Some people don’t like that, but I love it. And the dry down is sooooo worth it even if you don’t like the opening. This is an easy 9/10 for me. Not a big fan of apricot but it is barely there in the opening and it fades away later. This one is also sadly discontinued, so I have purchased a backup to keep because I find myself wearing this one for summery evenings and taking it to the beach.

DolceValkyrie

Deep, dark, ripe plum rounded into voluptuous fullness by salted caramel and amber. What’s not to love? This is gorgeous and an effortless easy reach gourmand.

rg.flux

Smells like a seltzer or cooler drink 😞 to some that may be appealing but it’s quite sickening to me. Good thing I only bought a sample. I would’ve been so sad to be stuck with a full bottle of this. The fragrance certainly has it’s time & place (beach, boardwalks, parties, vacation) but not suitable for daily wear, office wear nor dates (IN MY OPINION) all if that is to say, do nit blind buy this.

ekrapf

I got this as a sample to try. IMO it smells like very sweet, spiced vanilla, and very much like an alcoholic drink, maybe like a spiced rum. To me this is for wearing at night out to dinner while on a tropical vacation. Skin scent after about 4 hours. It’s a nice fragrance it’s just not for me.

KatyaSokolova1992

I don’t really like it much, for me it’s all about tanning oil thats all. That’s exactly how ur skin smells while getting tan under the hot sun on the beach. OG Olympéa is much better in my experience. I blind bought the 80ml and regretted immediately so you better try it before purchasing the full size.

Pashmina95

I’m afraid this little gem is dicontinued 😶🌫️
RIP our loved perfumes, sad victims of business.
I don’t understand why they stopped Olympea Intense neither.

Nerva

I adore it. Vanilla and powdery any time for me please! I like the orient twist. Coconut and salty vanilla make it intense and sexy for me. Then the plum takes over and like magic it changes it completely. After couple of hours it is very discreet.

Gyps

I don’t rate this at all. Thought from the reviews it would be really nice but I prefer the OG Olympea, which is gorgeous. All I can smell in this is faint coconut, and it burns my neck when I spray it on me. I can’t smell anything else apart from a faint rancid dripping type scent. Not impressed.

Edit: after nearly a year I’ve come back to this to re-evaluate. I’m smelling more of a sweetness, a plum scent. Still don’t think it’s like the OG, and I can still smell that dripping type note. I’ve no idea what is causing that. Still not long lasting or strong (on me). I’d probably rate it a little better than a year ago. It is not burning my neck now, however I wonder how it would go if I was to wear it daily. As far as the note of ‘sand’ goes, that’s taking things a bit too far I think. Gotta be a marketing gimmick I say. This bottle will last me quite a while as it’s not something I will grab for often. Might sell it on.

Priya Iyer

Bought this recently after one of my friends was wearing this and it smelled like a really nice gourmand on her. Even on the blotter it smells nice and plummy but unfortunately it smells very weird medicine like on my skin. In case anyone likes this I will be happy to swap/ give away. Not a blind buy, donot buy without trying on your skin.

Jennswen

Olympea Legend to my nose smells like bee's wax and honey. I really like it. It is a soft scent and comforting. I must address the "pee" or "olive" that some people are getting. In my experience this happens when the juice is stagnant in the sprayer. I had the same experience with this perfume and also Goldea the Roman Night absolute. I just spray it out a few times, then it is good to go. I would like to know why that happens in some perfumes.

Arwaiq

One of the rarest genius perfumes in the world
Heavenly blend

ykarnavusha

The most long-lasting Olympea on me. If I didn't know the notes, I'd say it smells like cacao and coconut. Very similar to Tobacco Rich Warm Addictive by Zara.

rezlem

Very syrupy and plummy.
If you are brazilian, smells EXACTLY like the desert manjar branco com calda de ameixa.

didsthecat

I asked for this perfume for christmas having never smelled it before. The notes intrigued me, and I’m glad that I ended up liking it. It’s a very plummy and chocolatey, yet floral smelling perfume. If Chloé met God is a Woman by Ariana Grande, and they had a baby.

Maddiec1999

Oh my god I love this soo much! Very Vanilla, syrupy and plumy. Nothing like the original Olympea IMO. It’s fruity & delicious 🍑 😍

Rhillaryleite

sou apaixonada pelo olympéa legend, com certeza um dos meus importados favoritos! Adoro o cheiro de baunilha e o cheiro de ameixa salgada na saída. Nunca consegui sentir côco como vejo muita gente falando

JuanitaChristensen

Word of caution: spray this on sparingly! It's a strong perfume mix of vanilla and plum. I've had people say it smells great, some didn't comment. I'm keeping it anyway!! If you prefer your vanilla to be somewhat.. Salty, then this is one you could try.

i bought this one last year, initially for my daughter, without testing it first. she loves original Olympea, so i assumed this will be similar but sweeter, which would suit her very well since she is into sweet vanilla scents. she appreciates good longevity and isn't scared of projection (which i am). she didn't care for the fragrance at all, and the bottle gradually came to me. i happen to love the fragrance, which makes sense, since me and my daughter have very different tastes. this isn't similar at all to the original Olympea, neither to Olympea Intense. For my nose this is a totally different perfume at all, and not a flanker of original. it isn't as salty in the way Olympea is, maybe just a slightly indication, but i wouldn't call it salty. for me it is mostly fruity vanilla, a bit tart, maybe because of plum, but i do not smell plum directly either. this is very well blended. this is not as sweet as i would expect reading other reviews and not as heavy as it may sound. for me it is cuddly vanilla cloud, deep and grown up vanilla in best way possible. it lasts long and has projection, i use one tiny little spray and smell it all day. it is one f those scents that equally summery and wintery. deep and vanillic enough to be cuddly winter scent, but solar and happy and bright to be summery choice. i do love this fragrance a lot, though it is a bit too much for me for everyday use, but this is very good fragrance. i have really hard time to understand why is it not so popular and why it is mentioned so seldom here in the forum. for me, it is much better than original Olympea. it just doesn't get the love it deserves.

I’m really enjoying this with its juicy plum and a warm vanilla that’s tempered with the salty notes. It settled down beautifully on my skin and retained the plum notes throughout. Can’t specifically detect the floral and ginger notes but whatever is there blends beautifully with the plum, with the salt and sand notes stopping this from being overly sweet for me. Eight hours later I can smell it on my arm and it’s still delicious.

I think it’s a pretty versatile scent but if using in the day would only do a light spray; I’d be more generous with application in the evening or if going outside. A great choice for fans of vanilla, fruity fragrances.

Sunshineandsmiles

I've figured out what this smells like. Bitter almond oil, sweetened.

I also get the smell of a females fluid down below, when it's clean that is. No fishiness. Lol

This and jean paul gaultier are rival signature perfumes for me currently.

Got my father to smell both side by side and he said this smelt honey like which I was surprised by.

voupa

Quite weird, but sniffing this perfume on a paper, I was able to detect the smell of olives. my friend said the same, did anyone else smell it or the juice of it went bad in that branch?

MahaS

I am glad that I gave this a try. My nose doesn't detect none of the crazy comparisons this perfume has gotten. The main note here is plum, it's strong. I get the comparisons to Cheirosa 40', as a matter of fact I layered them together today and to me it feels like it's almost the same fragrance. They go perfectly together so if you enjoy that 40' you may enjoy this. I say "may" because the perfume when is just sprayed is very strong. I don't recommend this for hot days (I haven't tried it but I can tell that it will be too much).. The weather has to be at least slightly cool to wear this. I own the original Olympea and the intense and I don't get the salt that these two have. I do get the sand note but it's very slight, I get mainly vanilla, amber and plum. I can see how the perfumes are related but this one is definitely different it does give a tropical vibe but when it's cold.

To me it's a keeper!

First spray: Euw 🤢🤮
Early dry down: Honey & booze 🍾🥳
Final dry down: Creamy, cozy vanilla 🥰

I will update about sillage and lasting power.

Update 1: Why did I buy the BIGGEST bottle available of this 😭 it smells like pee in the same way as Musc Noir. I think it's the plum... I can't wear this outside right now. I'll try another season 🥲

Joani_Cheddar

I can see how it may be off putting to most on first spritz - the fruity zing. In general, the fragrance smells like a Sangria spritzer. I smell wine and fruit with fizz = Sangria Spritzer. Arriba!

shannfernando

Having tested the entire Olympea line, except the Solar which annoyingly has evaded me, I can safely say this is the best one. It's fruity, SUPER sweet but not too much. Don't overspray - you need very little of this as it performs great. I find this far more nuanced and interesting than the og. The og, for some reason, smells like an armpit with vanilla deodarant. Not pleasant. But this - this stuff is gooooooood.

coffeebean83

One of my absolute favorites for summer. Smells like a golden goddess coconut(the sweet kind)suntan lotion on the beach when one has been sun bathing with aquatic sea salt on the skin. Or walking into a suntan salon years ago with all the oils and sweet tropical lotions in the air. Not for everyone but I'll always have it in my collection as long as it's available and reasonably priced.

Esse cheiro me inebria e me faz imediatamente voltar no tempo! Divino! 🥰
Bjo licoroso,doce,perfumado e irremediavelmente conquistado! 😉🥰🥰💃🏽😘

The sirupy apricot mixed with the ginger and the sand give me some bad vibes. Not my favorite Olympea- I prefer the original, the intense and the blossom versions.

blake.lee

This is absolutely repulsive on first spray. I literally recoiled at the weirdness. I can’t even explain it. Maybe black earth and rotting hay and fruit fermenting in the sun? Then it morphs into this extremely sticky sweet, boozy, suntan lotion, dark fruit thing and I love it! I was ready to toss this out the window the first 5 minutes. Glad I waited. This is gothic meets beach and I like it.

Gemsense

P.s. I like to layer this with Giorgio. it makes it soooo sexy and smoldering! Aaaahhhh love it, in your face sultry hot summer sexiness 🍹💋

Gemsense

You would never think that a fragrance so sticky, fruity, intensely sweet, syrupy, so cloying would work for hot summer heat --- but, this is that syrupy sweet fragrance that needs summer heat to perform and it performs beautifully! It's deep dark suntan lotion, beachy sand party, rum cocktails, on top of original Olympea. I'm an avid over sprayer but with this I don't need much because it's potent. It's delicious if used properly in the correct weather... Many won't know how to appreciate this one but if you enjoy original Olympea but want a more in your face version, I'd go for legend. It's totally tropical 🍹

wondervalley666

Blind Buy - Upon first spray I was a bit repulsed, what did I order? What am I smelling? This scent requires a few minutes to dry down, and a few more to develop before I could make sense of it. Boozy alcohol, then figs? Spicy figs? Then I realized - it smells JUST like a proper EDP version of Sol de Janerio Cheirosa '40 body spray - the pink/reddish bottle with the plum scent. It even smells like the same coconut thats in SDJ fragrances is in this as well. I did end up selling my SDJ sprays as they seemed a bit too young and fruity for my aging self to pull off, so unfortunately I'm going to have to part ways with this one as well. I love the original Olympea, I hoped Legend would be a more summery beachy version, but I'm just not that into fruity plum scents. I can see this being a very popular fragrance though, it really does smell just like that SDJ fragrance but better, more expensive.

ScentedPlaza

In winter it was giving me a headache, the sweet boozy plum felt too synthetic & sharp, however now, in hot summer weather this perfume gives me boozy plum jam w suntan vibe. I prefer the original though. That salty plum with ginger somehow doesn't work for me after all.

Sully92

The longevity on this is absolutely terrible which was a shock considering the original lasts great on me. I'm fine with having to respray during the day but this gives me an hour tops!
The opening does smell a little like fermenting fruit and alcohol but that only lasts a minute and then it's plum and apricot for the rest of the opening. The drydown is a little hint of the original olympea but with plum, apricot and a whole tonne of tonka added. I'm not sure if I smell sand, does sand even have a smell?
I quite like the scent but I really don't like the performance. It does project moderately for around half an hour.
I think this is a little too sweet for super hot days but works fine for summer nights and cooler weather. Just note that you will need to respray often.

Robinbird90

Based on the great reviews here, I am wondering if I got abad batch because I find this to be absolutely disgusting. The first perfume that has ever made me actually gag. I was so shocked at how bad it was that I actually had friends and family sniff it too in case it was just me, but they screwed up their faces in disgust too. It is warm and sweet and boozy but not in the usual yummy way. It smells like rotten fruit left out in the sun that then had some kind of rum poured on top so all you get is this heavy, rotten, sweet garbagey smell. It so thick and sticky, syrupy and cloying that my stomach turns just thinking about it. I usually love syrupy sweet scents. I love gourmands. Nothing is ever too much or too sweet for me, until this. It's an overipe, vile, mish mash of ingredients that apparently don't work well together. Dirty and suffocating. I wish I smelled what other people do because to me this is just putrid.

H0neybee

Imagine a sour plum and apricot pie with candied ginger and sea salt sprinkled on the top, a glass of fruity wine or a fruity, boozy cocktail on the side and the sweet smell emanating from both these things…, that’s what I would describe if someone asked me what it smelled like.
You need to seriously love sweet and fruity fragrances to like this one! I absolutely love gourmand fragrances but this one can be too much for me at times as well.
One spray is literally enough. More than one and you’d surely choke somebody, that’s how sugary it can get. I reckon it’s the combination of vanilla and tonka beans that makes this fragrance a sweetness explosion.
Not something I reach out for that often; I really need to be in the mood for this specific one. Lovely fragrance nonetheless.

Update: was way too sweet and overpowering; passed it on to a friend.

Kotikina

It reminds me of an apricot/plum jam, a boozy homemade plum liqueur, but most of the things it reminds me of a dessert that is very popular in Eastern Europe - a dark chocolate covered plum.
I might smell a tiiiiny bit of salt and those sand notes that only appear after a long time in the dry down. I really don't understand where do people find coconut in this one, I cannot smell it even if I try to use my olfactory imagination very hard. I can understand how people find it 'too much' - it is a no joke syrupy sweet fragrance, I find it very delicious and seductive kind of sweet, gourmand. I would say it is fine for all seasons, but I see it more of an evening perfume.

Vanillastorm40

This and La Nuit Tresor are sisters. They are so similar. I've had LNT for some time now and I received my latest blind buy fail, Olympea Legend, today...they smell so similar. I feel like if you have one, you may not need the other and that is why buying Olympea was a fail for me. Not a fail because I don't like Olympea because I do like it, it's really beautiful actually. It's a fail because they're so much alike that I feel like I wasted money that could've been spent buying something else on my long want list. I think I prefer LNT. But they seriously smell so much alike. I'll be putting Legend on Mercari. Edit: A few days later...nope, not going on Mercari. I'm keeping this beauty. Plum, apricot, vanilla. This is a keeper. I actually might like this more than LNT.

Kanutten

This changes A LOT according to temperature. In colder temperatures this smells strongly of alcohol with synthetic fruits. Not exactly great. I was pretty decided on selling it, and why I bought Legend in the first place was sort of a mystery. Along comes warmer weather and the fragrance changes character completely. -Warmer weather turns this into a boozy summer scent with delicious plum and apricot with just a hint of salt on a bed of tonka and amber. The boozy fruits are nicely balanced by the rest of the notes. - I'm keeping it!!!

glamgrl

I do not like it at all it smells like a hair grease called Dax ....sigh I guess I can wear it in the house.

Yessamin

As charming as a modern goddess. Salty-vanilla, watery jasmine and ginger flower wrapped in cashmere.

EdP

Mennaa

I really used to like this now I barely reach for it. It’s too much in the heat or even in the coldest winter days. This is headache in a bottle. I like some other fragrances that give me headaches but still I appreciate them i.e. Lancome Idole l’Intense. But this one right here smells like rotten fruits not even dried ones. No matter how many times I give it another chances by wearing it, I always regret it and stay the whole day upset. Used to like it -not even love it- now I despise it.

strawberryswitchblade

After trying out a sample I received I was ready to screw up my eyes and file it under another generic, banal, run of the mill brew. Boy, was I wrong! This is absolutely delicious. Immediately after applying I get coconut (although this is not mentioned in notes) and peach mixed with sea salt. Then vanilla makes its entrance. Since I'm on a vanilla/coconut binge for the past two years, this little gem is right up my alley. Yes, it is sweet but never in an overpowering or nauseating way. And I say that as someone whose signature scent has been old school Ô de Lancôme for eons. Legend smells so unusual it could be a niche fragrance. Whats nice is that it isn't bound to a season but can be worn all year round. At least I will

WifeyPink

Today I finally got my nose on Olympea Legend and I absolutely love this fragrance. It will be the perfect fall winter fragrance for me, I could easily see this being my Signature for that time of year. It's beautiful. Boozy vanilla with a rich plum 💕

mavi8

Honestly, I love this perfume! It is very different from the other sweet perfumes on the market, where they are all very similar to each other and at the end of the day they smell like vanilla and nothing else. Nowadays, many sweet perfumes are just imitating La Vie est Belle, which makes many people end up having the same smell and getting a little sick of sweet perfumes. Legend has unmistakable authenticity, in addition to being possible to build layers with it, going from a soft and sweet smell to an explosion of aromas, very different from what you see daily. If you like sweet scents but you're looking for something new, I recommend this perfume.

PinkRainbow

This one is so unique. Vanilla and plum rule here giving it an earthy darkness that is broken by a bright salty sea spray under a full moon. Rich and distinctive. An absolute love that has it hands down over the original. Longevity and silage are perfect-- making it a must have! So perfect for a mid-summer night.

Diana21

this perfume is so sweet that it reminds me of syrup. I usually like sweet scents but this one makes me feel nauseous if i spray any more than twice on my neck. It’s definitely too much for spring and summer but i’ll give it another try in winter. Will use it but probably won’t purchase again. Not the best match for me but if you like sweet,STRONG and long lasting perfumes you might like this. Definitely not a safe blind buy.

euge_prieto

At first sniff, on my wrist, I didn't like it. But then I gave it another try and applied it on my neck....I fell in love. It surrounds you with a smell of buttery vanilla. I find it addictive and comforting. It's also different than any other perfume I ever tried. It projects and lasts.

sophie sanderson

This is just so rich so deep so cosy yet intoxicating it near enough takes yr breath away it's such a lovely fragrance and yes even though it is a strong fragrance it's pleasant to smell and it should last as well because you would not need to use more than one or 2 sprays of it as a little goes a long way

Catmo

Just blind bought this. I adore Olympea and Olympea intense. This was AWFUL. It’s soo syrupy and sweet that it’s nauseating. You cannot smell any of the original Olympea DNA in this because it’s so sickly sweet and dense. It reminds me a lot of Armani Si Intense with how syrupy it is. It has almost a fake sweetener smell to me. Like apricot syrup sitting in a bowl of stevia. I sprayed it once on the back of my hand and I feel like I dumped a packet of sweetener in my mouth and it’s stuck in the back of my throat. Just terrible. Do not blind buy this whatever you do.

Ashminxie

Sampled this in Superdrug UK store, Both myself and the woman serving me gave each other a look of disgust the first spray was so offensive and it smelt terrible the scent improves slightly as it drys down but absolutely not for me, Others have compared it to La Nuit Tresor or La vie est belle 2 of my all-time favorites but I tell you right now they do not smell like that to me at all.

The smell was like salty coconut mixed with ginger and fruit

Do not blind buy this... you have to test it first

angieiles1

OMG this is so deliciously good, salty deep vanilla so seductive and intoxicating, my favourite scent ❤️

CatieK

This has the most gorgeous vanilla and amber dry down ever. I really like the opening too, reminiscent of red wine. It reminded me somewhat of both Kayali Elixir and Kayali Invite Only. I can't wear the original Olympea something just doesn't work with my skin but this is definitely on my wish list

hellebelle

Imagine a “tobacco” scented Yankee Candle fit for Godzilla. More precisely, the scent is that of peach flavored Skoal chewing tobacco. A wax pillar at least 10 stories tall emanates as if by magic right out of the Pacific. Godzilla emerges from Tokyo Bay and fishes a huge cigar out of his pocket; a grape Swisher Sweet the size of an oak tree. It is safe to assume that incredibly sweet, artificial-fruity tobacco is the Big Guy’s very favorite aroma, and there’s no accounting for taste (as I’m sure we can all politely agree). This artificial peach and grape tobacco miasma absolutely makes Godzilla’s mouth water. The odor has a quality similar to radioactive nuclear waste, and it reminds Godzilla of the sweet, sentimental days of his youth.

Godzilla stomps up to his special candle and inhales deeply a few times, appreciating the pungent, shrill aroma for a while. His nostrils flare, and on his next exhalation Godzilla unleashes a huge stream of fiery breath and ignites the wick of the candle. He then places his cigar in his mouth and lights it off of the candle flame, taking a number of quick pulls from the cigar, puff puff puff! (He looks *really cool* when he does this btw) Then Godzilla holds the smoke in his mouth for a few moments, his yellow eyes narrowing a bit in contentment as the nicotine hits his lizard brain. He draws in the smoke, then exhales it slowly through his nostrils. The acrid smoke rises upwards and is quickly dissipated the ocean breeze.

Despite that breeze, Godzilla’s 100 foot tall Yankee Candle is really going now. And because of the breeze, it is now wafting gales of fruity tobacco compote fumes, so powerful you can see it in the air like a heat mirage all over Tokyo. People all over the city start to faint and/or vomit en masse. Chaos ensues. Godzilla takes another hit from his cigar and shrieks noisily with delight! A jolly day at the beach.

Olympea Legend by Paco Rabanne.

julso22

Something about the sand and salt note does not work on my skin. Beautiful fragrance though

cocodust

I tested this and original Olympia recently. The original I much prefer-is softer, lighter, more juicy and joyful. There is a heavy synthetic syrupy, depressive aspect to this which I don’t like, won’t be going on my wish list.

Atilola

This perfume is not a safe blind but in the slightest . It’s so unique . The plum in it is dense and potent . If I spray too much it can become extremely nauseating . It has a good projection and silleage. I love it , definitely a headturner and signature scent worthy. It’s a very syrupy fruit mixture that’s almost boozy, with a beautiful vanilla dry down you just have to be careful not to spray too much 4 sprays is ok.Sometimes I can smell it on me for over 6 hours at other times 3 hours it depends.

applejack78

This Olympea flanker is really nice! I had low expectations because I don't like salt as a fragrance note, but I don't smell it at all. This is a lovely vanilla fragrance with a tropical floral vibe. It's feminine and sweet. Definitely fb worthy. I'll be happy to have Legend as my first Paco Rabanne.

Annie Vides

This perfume it's a delicious gourmand sweet vanilla with that salty touch which makes it unique,on me skin lasts for about 7 hours and on clothes can last up to 24 hours and I must add that this perfume was a blind buy for me and I ended up falling in love with it ❤🖤

princessblanket

my signature perfume! the first one i got obsessed with that has made me get into it ❤️
it's so different to the rest of the olympeas, the salt plum and vanilla notes make it so unique 💌 i love it for the winter, it gets me so many compliments

Nanalvzpink

I purchased this because someone said it smells like dulce de leche.

To me, it smells like coconut, vanilla and pineapples. Very tropical, similar to Sol de Jineiro Bum Bum cream.

I will be keeping this in my collection but don’t find the need to repurchase it.

nymlaxy

There's something so special about this fragrance. Reminds me of a hot day in the desert. The opening smells spicy and warm, but also fruity and salty. You can get some comforting vanilla as time passes, and it leaves a pretty smell. I don't think this perfume is a mass pleaser though, it's not the typical fruity/sweet vanilla. My main recommendation with this perfume is to don't overspray it, just one is enough. With this perfume less is more ;)

Tracyj87

In the top smells like a strong red wine, and the middle and dry down are soooo yummy, the top fades and it becomes creamy, sweet, yummy and unique. It is one of the best progressions I have smelt. Beautiful beautiful fragrance and good longevity. On me it lasts about 5 hours, it’s still able to be smelled but I like refreshing to keep it stronger. I love it so much.

jensyr

Drydown is pure love ❤️ Saltied creamy caramelcake, mmmm... So delicious! So, wait until you get the drydown! Beginning with this baby could be hmmmm... Little difficult.. Just breath. And wait. And suddenly! magic happens... 🌟

GUADELUPA

The best salty sweetness among frangances! Plum and tonka bean are also very beautiful here. Longevity and sillage are perfect. After trying it in duty-free, I can smell it some weeks on my clothes. The best Olympea ever!

Alicjade

A strong, rich vanilla scent. Boozy and nauseating. Headache in a bottle

shiningyuzu

This is way stronger than anticipated! Please be careful with this fragrance, don't overspray!

If you want to buy this, you should know you're going to get a syrupy wine-like vanilla (ie: La Vie Est Belle, La Nuit Tresor, etc.) plum & apricot with some salt. If that sounds like your jam, then go for it, but I'd stay away if you wanted a lighter sweet fragrance. Compared to the original, this is a fruit wine with salt, while the original is just vanilla, sand, and salt. Unfortunately, this smells too much like an alcoholic drink and is too intense and syrupy for me, so I'll pass on this one. Sillage and longevity are just as strong as the fragrance itself.

Scent: 3/10

Longevity: 8/10

Sillage: 8/10

Price: 6/10

Not School or Work Friendly! Wear this going out instead!

Would not recommend a blind buy! Sample first!

Yours Truly,
Yuzu 🍊

isyvirgin

Finally got my hands on this perfume!
I've been obsessed with the drydown of this perfume for months now 😍

It doesn't smell like anything I've ever tried before. The top notes are very prominent.
I also get the vanilla of course and the ginger.

This smells like a beautiful plum/apricot pie with salty ginger candy. It is potent and I know for sure it will last since I've already tested it on my wrist in store. EDIT : well damn it's still on my wrists almost 48 hours later and it almost smells better😅

The batch code I got is from January 2019, but it smells exactly like I expected so know that this perfume can last at least 3 years without any changes and that I don't think it has been reformulated yet :)

soumayaela

A rubber
Nauseating
Makes me dizzy

Extra sweet creamy syrupy thick coconutty plum

Ripe fermented plums with alcohol
Boozy, like a liqueur

Very potent and rich
Unpleasant to wear

Damn! Over 35 blind buys this year, this one is the woooooorst!

3/10 just because it's an olympéa flanker! I love the original and the intense, signature scents worthy

STAY AWAY FROM THIS
NOT A SAFE BLIND BUY

Kathy Reed

Smells amazing such a creamy vanilla 😍 it’s a warm and sweet gourmand, when you first spray it you can smell that apricot it’s quite noticiable mixed with the vanilla, this perfume has the prettiest dry down 💕, the salt in this perfume it’s not like “beach” salt it’s more like salt added to desserts, it helps bring out those yummy notes, I wouldn’t see myself wearing this on summer cuz it can be a little bit heavy.

The dry down is so pretty and sexy at the same time, I love to wear this to bed, I apply it an hour before bed so that those base notes can appear and omg it smells amazing, men are so attracted to this fragrance, it’s just so good

Lasting power - 8+ hours (no need to overspray)
Bottle - 5/5 so pretty! ❣️
Scent -5/5 (perfect for vanilla gourmand lover)
This scent is more suitable for cold weather and also the sillage is pretty good! People will smell you for sure! ☺️

08310831

A beautiful salty caramel vanilla with sand notes. It's an anusual smell for gourmand lovers, which lasts for hours and projects like crazy, so overspraying wouldn't be a good idea IMO. Worth trying.

sashazor

I feel like Legend is definetly saltier than other flankers, at least on my skin. I didn't really like the opening much, as the salt just overwhelms the other notes rather easily. That said, it has a lovely, warm drydown. I would say the most noticeable fruits for me are vanilla, salt, amber, and plums! It's definetly a cooler climate scent.

It's very intense, and likely to be noticed by others. It can be a tad overwhelming, so spray sparingly. While I do like this scent, it's definetly not for everyone. It's very, very strong.

Sillage is massive, and it's very long lasting. I don't recommend you buy this blindly.

Update: 12 hours and it's still going strong! I catch whiffs of it by just playing on my phone, and I only put it on my wrists!!! It's amber, vanilla, fruity goodness. Really sweet and flirty. I love it.

h_fallata

Smells like a salty Popcorn with syrup and a baby . Not bad, not good

SummerRose

I am on my second bottle of Olympea but never tried any of the flankers. Recently, I came across Legend, tested it on paper and then my skin. Love at first sniff. I smell a salty, creamy vanilla with a hint of freshness. It develops lovely on my skin. I had to purchase that day in store. It is a love for me. I think I may even prefer this over the original maybe because I wore the original a lot in the past. I think they are different enough for you to own both. I am happy to have them both!

emi2000

It smells like.... expired almost. very sickeningly, and the one I tried was completely new. nothing like the og or the intense versions which I love

LMD

Unfortunately I am not a fan of this. It is long lasting and quite strong, so it is good quality. I just don't like it. It is far too sickly for me. All I can smell is sickly sweet and sour plum and apricot layered over a thick, overly sweet vanilla. To me it comes off kind of juvenile, it feels like it would suit a much younger than me woman. The only other Olympea I have tried is Blossom and that one was much lighter and nicer. Legend is not for me but if you like a super strong fruity vanilla it might be for you.

bebban

I would not say that this is a bad perfume, but it is not the best either. I would recommend to test it in a store before buying, as I blind bought. It is a good everyday fragrance (at least for me). I smell mostly a salty vanilla with coconut :)

Dulcette91

An unforgettable scent that is always noticed by others. Beautiful combination of salty vanilla with ripe fruit. Extremely long lasting (and my skin usually drinks up perfume). Excellent sillage, you can smell it from afar. Very seductive, noticeable, special and demands attention. Even though it’s a classic floral fruity gourmand, I think it’s very unique. Out of all the perfumes I’ve had (as in, ever) this one has gotten the most compliments, including from strangers. Legend seems sweeter, more intense and long lasting than Olympea EDP. And the plum is more noticeable in this one for sure.

Enchanted77

So sweet and scrumptious. However, be very careful how much you spray because this one is very thick. Absolutely no more than 2-3 sprays because this beauty has monster silliage. I made this mistake the first time I wore this and I was at an outdoor event ( chilly night) and everyone within 30 feet ( or more) could smell me!! Don’t get me wrong, all the men loved it but it was a little embarrassing for me to smell that strong. So, since then, just a small squirt here and there will definitely due. This smells very little like the original and Olympea Legend and is definitely not a safe blind buy, although it was for me. Thankfully, I love it but it’s definitely not an everyday perfume.

fairymeist

I find it crazy that no one has mentioned it but this smells just like strawberry or cherry chapstick, LITERALLY
Smells like chapstick and I love it!! Altough I can understand why some people may not like it, it has a very sweet lipsticky plasticky vibe, which might be overwhelming for some, but I LOVE ITT !!!!

Tropicat28

Reminds me of Backwood cigars at first. I blind bought it and was hoping I didn’t make a mistake but as it dried down I got the apricot, plum, Tonka, Amber, Vanilla and a little bit of sand. Also smells like the pool to me when I sniff the bottle or cap. I’m glad it’s not strong on the salt. The original Olympea was a no go for me but I like this one. Diva mode. I definitely think this one will depend on chemistry so if you are not familiar if most of these notes work for you then I definitely don’t recommend blind buying unless you are will to take the risk.

sdiannas

This is so yummy on my skin, like a desert with fruit amazing, a favourite for sure. Even if it is summer here this does not get too sweet on my skin.

M429g931

I really wanted to like this. But this smells horrible. It could be my body chemistry, but it smells like plastic berries and salt. I also can get the pencil shavings reference. It’s heinous. I’m so disappointed because I was hoping for a show stopping summer nights scent but I just can’t do it.

Bouquet Bleu

No plum, no apricot. The first thing I though is of dry coconuts and pencil shavings. And home fragrance poutpurri. Some ikea scent with coconut. What a shame! Smells nice but not for a perfume.
Rate: blah.

bianca_11106

Sweet, thick, syrupy plum, dipped in boozy vanilla with a bit of a salty vibe in the background that dries down to a rich and warm vanilla/tonka sponge cake - this is what I mostly get from it.

I don't find it too similar to the original Olympéa (which I prefer), but it's nice and I enjoy wearing it, especially in warmer weather, during the evenings or the nights.
For me it's a strong like, not a love-love, but I really like it and I find it quite different from all the other mainstream gourmand fragrances out there.

This is a fragrance you shoud test on your skin before getting it, because reading the comments is so misleading ( from sweet rich heavy plum/ apricot, to coconut, to vomit and rancid, salty, ambery, nauseating, cake, marmelade, masterpiece, etc) so you can't really know what you're going to get from this one if you'd blind buy it.

Marie76

Hallelujah. A good, potent best selling perfume with something new to say and a bit of personality. A sweet, well blended plum and vanilla opening note that does not disappear, it still has that cocacola amber note that I am not a fan of, but it is a masterpiece, there's nothing out there like it, it still retains the vanilla-salt accord and the tonka bean makes it so sweet and smooth. The village and longevity are exceptional, which again is so, so rare these days. The only thing that surprises me is that this is selling so well, and marketed to the younger women. It is a very mature scent to me, and something that can "wear you" rather than you wearing it. I'd recommend it spraying it very sparingly and wearing it only at night. Another thing, very sexy to men, from the amount of compliments attracted!

sphknght

Smells like literal vomit, as agreed by my mum and auntie. Not a safe blind buy at all & I really hope the original is nicer but I can’t see it happening. I had to bin my sample card, at least it’s a strong scent though 🤢🤢🤢

Annelota

First time that I blind bought a perfume! 🍑

I'm huge fan of the original, and I saw a YouTuber (Ángeles Parfum) loving this version so much that I decided to blind buy it!

Has nothing to do with the original Olympêa. But this smells amazing! Sweet! Sexy! Juicy!
Smells like my childhood candies, the soft suggary apricot gummies 🍑

For me this is a very unique and sweet apricot parfum. I've never smelled anything like this before, and I'm so happy I discovered it now 😍

esmeralda999

Complete impulse buy at 50% off instore. Sooo strong and syrupy sweet like everyone else has said - I don't think I've ever smelled anything this sweet. I absolutely didn't like it at first, the opening when sniffed up close is a LOT and wearing it would absolutely make me feel self conscious in the wrong environment (eg work).

However. It's oddly delicious? Getting whiffs of it not up close it's 100x yummier and more addicting. My (very) amateur nose just gets syrupy fruits, vanilla, salt and a little coconut. I'm really looking forward to wearing this when I'm dolled up for date nights or going out, it feels flirty, sexy, ridiculously feminine.

kittymoon

So unusual, very addictive and comforting. It smells a bit vintage, with a modern (salty) twist. Direction "Casmir" by Chopard +plum +salt. It's mainly vanilla and overripe fruits. The plum seems enriched with a hint of rum, it smells heavy and syrupy and the salt gives it that little something. I get the comparison, but to me Rich Warm Addictive is more woody and not as deep as Olympea Legend.

jpaton96

I bought a dabber of this after reading a review on here that said this was a good fragrance for a summer night, something I've been looking to add to my collection. I found a large bottle for resale at a great price so I blind bought it before I even got the dabber. With the dabber you miss the opening notes and it immediately dried down to a warm caramel vanilla by the beach (to me, it has beachy BonBon vibes). When I first sprayed it, I was hit with the scent of wine with a strong alcohol content which turns into a plum syrup and eventually you hit the vanilla/amber/tonk combo that I find to be reminiscent of caramel. There's something odd but hypnotic about this scent.

Mariana Arias

This is a super syrupy plum scent. It gives me the same vibe as La Nuit Tresor only lighter. Yes, there is a vanilla undertone but the plum is the protagonist here. Not a fresh, juicy, tart plum, think more of a sticky dark fruit jam

Natabeth

After purchasing Dolce Garden I knew I had smelt something similar somewhere and it was Olympea Legend. However Garden is much ‘drier’ and less fruity than Legend.
This actually smells very lovely on a warm day. It is rather heavy so a light hand is needed when applying.
Some mention a coconut-y note. Despite being heavy, it does smell quite Summer-y - sand, sun, lotion etc.

oncebitten

Legend somehow manages to be cozy, sweet, and heavy without being cloying, and I honestly can't explain it. Ten minutes after spraying and I am suddenly under a beach umbrella, wrapped in a sun-warmed towel, with the salt and the faint sweetness of sunscreen wafting around me. It's so comforting and beautiful and on days when I wear it, I find I can't stop sniffing my arm or cuddling into my shirt, taking big whiffs to immerse myself in it as much as possible. It's heavenly.

MiraScents

This is interesting fragrance. Heavy but airy at the same time. I got some vintage vibes from It.
Sweet. Reminds the smell of very ripe fruits mixed with a bit of salt. It got suntan lotion kinda vibe too. Might be suitable for all year around, but to me its summer fragrance. It got warm and beachy vibes, leaning more in summer nights.

sweetcheex

Not a fan. Too heavy on the plum, and some powdery smelling note. That’s just my opinion. I’m sure it smells good in sillage, but on me, it sort of made me feel almost sick. People say they don’t get the salt note, but it is definitely present for me. Maybe not so much in the dry down.

Arygophe

I tested this in Sephora and it was amazingly sweet and enticing. So I got home and I ordered it. But when it arrived and I put it on, it was extremely stinging. I hope that after a few hours, the inital sting will die down, and I will be left with just that delicious sweetness. Otherwise it would be impossible for me to wear it. Another ideea is to leave it in the sun for a few days to alter its chemical composition, assuming that is what happened with the tester in the shop because of the lights.

Beccyb95

This is really horrible to me. I put on a tiny splash from a mini to test it out and it’s actually making me feel a bit sick, which rarely happens for me. Probably props to the sillage though as I can smell it a mile off! It’s super sweet artificial fruit and vanilla, with a loud, sour undertone. Not for me, I’ll definitely sell my mini. 6mls is too much!

Veronika95

I really hate the “image” of Paco Rabanne brand ... it looks so cheap and trashy. Olympea is probably the only one with really nice bottles.
The scent is really nice but I probably like original Olympea more, because of the saltiness. It’s almost non existent here. It’s really heavy on plum and that’s a note that sometimes I like, sometimes I don’t. I have the same situation with Kenzo World Intense. I really have to be in the mood, otherwise it smells little like a rubber 🤔 besides the plum, I smell a lot of vanilla. The rest is well blended together and I can’t really tell the notes apart, so it’s hard to describe the smell. It immediately reminded me of Pure XS.
I really like the strength, very good for the price, people will smell you.

KylieBooFace

Solid like, maybe love blind buy. I love the bottle and the Greco-Roman/desert aesthetic so much. This fragrance is so unusual and interesting to me. It definitely can be oversprayed, but the drydown is such a beautiful smooth slightly salty vanilla. Someone described this as a rich dessert with plum (and maybe some other dried fruits) and it really is. I'm trying a vial of the original Olympea and the Olympea Aqua Legere soon-- I'm so excited!

Madyana

This scent is a big love for me.
There’s nothing complicated or overly sophisticated here, this is a huge sweet, creamy, boozy plum right on your face and that's that.
One of the laws, familiar from cooking, is also true in this fragrance; Add salt to the soup and so you can add sweetness as well! This must absolutely be the sweetest juice I have ever sunk my nose and I still could swim here without getting sick ...
well, I understand that other people around me could be this loveliness disagree... so I will limit myself to use this reasonably in the evenings or winter days.
I think this would be great for warm summer evenings to cramped smoky clubs, if we ever get them back again. Full score from me!

astrakan

I love this a lot! It's definitly not for anyone who's averse to sweetness, because this is the sweetest thing I've ever smelled. But what I love about it is that even though it is soo incredibly sweet, it's still balanced with the salt and the tartness of the fruits. It almost goes a bit boozy, but in a "half fermented fruit" kind of way, which smells better than it sounds.

To me it kind of fullfills every flavor you would want in a dessert. Sweet, tart and salty. Like a plum/apricot pie, with a salty, vanillic crust.

I would recommend it mainly for autumn, winter and chilly evenings. Because of the boozy aspect, I would personally only wear it on events that feature alcohol.

ScentPoetry

I had it for a long time and recently gave it away. It´s just okay. I feel the vanilla can get quite synthetic smelling in this one, the apricot smells a lot like dried fruits, making it very sweet smelling. I like sweet scents but the combo with the plasticy, synthetic vanilla is not it. It´s only a bit salty, so if you thought that the original was too salty, this might be for you. Longevity and projection are pretty good, as I find that to be the case with most Paco Rabanne fragrances. It´s not the worst thing in the world, but for this price you can get a much better overly sweet vanilla fragrance.

Sparkly32

This one is heavenly! A very, and i mean really very very sweet fragrance with a distincitive plum note. I smell something like rum (or whisky as well). It's not a blind buy and not everyone is a fan of it but boy if you like it, it's so great. Performance is great (at least 7 hours) and projection is moderate-great.

I just can't stop sniffing my arm, it's really a unique fragrance that allures me (and other around me).

KindnessBoo

A beast and definitely not a safe blind buy even if you love the original Olympea. I love the dry down more than the opening, it smells like a delicious juicy coconut even though coconut isn’t listed as a note - it’s probably the plum and apricot doing it’s thing. It wasn’t love a first sniff but there’s a place for this in my collection. Fun, fruity, sunscreen coconut vibes, it’s a great beach, summer cocktails with friends or strolling around markets type of vibe. Beware it is verging sickly sweet. I picked this up at a great price!

winston_loves_fragrances

I loved it when I first tried it in Sephora, and I went back to buy it. Then I wore it the first time just for going out for shopping, 1 spritz and that was good. Then I wore it again the next day, 3 spritz and after that I got nauseous so I had to shower but after shower the smell was still a bit with me. 😂 after 3 days my tshirt still smells like it.
This is a very very very sweet and heavy, plum and vanilla are the scents which dominate. Thickenly sweet. It took quite some time for me to smell other notes after the the plum and vanilla faded out a bit. I also tried the original Olympea, the opening was similar (without plum) but softer and it has changed into more floral, breezy smell later, but this one is nothing like that, it is totally different.
I've never got nauseous from perfume before so this one is indeed special, I used to love it but now I think I just like it, and will surely be my occasional perfume, surely not for everyday use, not even once in 2 weeks.

Mennaa

I blind bought this even after reading lots of somewhat negative comments saying it’s cloying and nauseating, and honestly I am glad I did. This a beautiful coconut scent that it’s very well balanced once you get over the first notes which can be slightly overwhelming, but trust me the dry down is to die for. Most people who don’t like it because it’s nothing like the original one, and I’m glad it’s not. The original Olympea is so generic for me, smells like dove shampoo nothing special. I smelled Olympea intense and it was a big noo for me. It is straight up amber cubes which I used to put in my closet back in middle school and the scent is still haunting me of how cloying it is. Dont get me wrong Olympea legend is sweet but not overbearing. If you’re gonna test it, try it with an open mind rather than comparing it to the flankers or the original.
The longevity is amazing, the silage is strong first few hours then it’s moderate after 4 hours it turns into a strong skin scent I would say.
Overall: 8.5/10

chloematilda

As much as I LOVE Olympea Intense, I dislike this. I don't know why. It's muddled and overdone and the beautiful simple skin scent of Olympea Intense did not need to be messed with. This simply doesn't work on my skin, and that makes me sad, but I had to try it anyway.

rainme

Nope nope nope. I get an extremely strong urine smell from this perfume (might be the loud plum note) and it makes me feel ill. I like the original olympia and this smells nothing like it at all.

JHW1987

Smells like Zara Rich Warm Addictive (2018 formulation) save your money and buy that instead

Zaleska

Do you want to smell like cake, or even gingerbread? Go for this one!
Want a cheaper version? Buy Far Away Royale! They're similar!

froufroudeluxe

How is this related to Olympéa? If anything, this is Olympéa’s annoying colleague. And we just do not get along

Fragranced

I heard a lot about the original Olympéa and while I was doing my research I came across Olympéa Legend. Reading about the notes, Legend seemed to speak more to me but I decided to blind buy both just out of curiosity.

Legend is delicious. Like others have noted, it’s somewhat reminiscent of sun tan lotion on the beach. Coconutty. Vanilla or plum cake. It’s so warm and cozy but not overly sweet. It’s a bit hard to describe but I can see myself wearing this as my signature. For reference my other favorite signature scents are Thierry Mugler - Alien and Viktor&Rolf - Bon Bon so if you like those you’ll probably enjoy this scent.

The original Olympéa doesn’t smell like Legend, I have to agree with everyone else. Olympéa doesn’t catch my attention at all. When I wore it, it reminded me of a generic Alien, heavier on the florals. It smells like a very basic white floral perfume, like something my mom wore in the 90’s but i can’t put my finger on it. I wanted to like it. I will say it has great lasting power and sillage, more so than Legend does.

soumayaela

Oh my god this is disgusting 🤢

This is the worst perfume i smelled in my life
I got rid of it ASAP didn't keep it even for the bottle
I have a big collection of perfumes so i'm used to blind buy perfumes all the time and never get really disappointed! BUT THIS ONE, is the worst perfume i bought in years of purchasing

It smells like liqueur and plume alcohol with a huge dose of amber, i wanted to throw up after smelling this, i'm not this hard usually i like all types of perfumes but this is special (in a bad way)

I'm a big fan of olympea but olympea legend has nothing to do with it

If you see this ruuuuuuun

2/10 (just for the longevity)

moscatomami

I am writing this review with the disclaimer that I love and enjoy the original PR Olympea. I bought my Olympea over a year ago, and it has consistently agreed with me- no cloying or headache days. Olympea and Olympea Legend have nothing in common aesthetically, if they were cousins I'd say there's nothing similar between them genetically. In my experiences, most flankers share a "DNA" where the core concept is kept and a few novelty notes are shifted around. Olympea Original has this bubblegummy flirty dimensionality, where Legend is more 2-D and sultry. Like many reviews have mentioned, Legend is SWEET, syrupy sweet. On my initial few usages I noted the "Play dough" like aspect, but as I have gotten used to it it's faded away. It's replaced by a very unique sand note, which gives Legend a hot and toasted spicy quality. The sweetness comes from the plums, which have a syrupy honey quality. This was not a traditional blind buy for me, as I smelled Legend in an airport a year ago and was waiting for the right time to add to my collection. I will admit, when I finally got it back in my hands my experience was different from that initial smell. Do not buy Legend assuming that it has anything in common with the original Olympea- Legend must be treated as it's own individual. Ultimately, I like Legend for Legend but I'm missing the dimensionality (In either the jasmine or ginger notes) that the original provided.

lorihollie

This is a total fragrance bomb. VERY sweet. Has little to do with the original Olympea which I also own. I'm surprised that this does not have a honey note. Smells like THICK and SWEET plum marmalade with honey. I love it. Have never smelled anything like it. Sillage is huge though. I can get a headache when I'm wearing this. And I'm not the sensitive type.

Krest123

Salty, vanilla and Tonka bean goodness. Only need two sprays and only for a cold evening.

PadreMaronnoLaVendetta

There is something in the line of Olympea that makes me really really sick. Like nauseous to the point I was gagging when I tested it. Never happened before in my life with any perfumes that I hated. And there are plenty perfumes that I hate lol. Olympea wins the Medal for ''Worst perfume ever smelled'' and I went as far as to tell my bf to never buy me anything from Paco Rabanne.
The perfum smells like a salty, sunscreeny, sweet mess. God is awaful. Please smell it before buying it.

Do not blind buy.

beatrix75

Ohhh so magical you have right soooo strange like I never ever before I smelled something like this sweet but salty cherry japp fresh cherry sour and sweet and kinda complex fragrance.

diane.sandra.van.jaarsveld

This scent is Magical. Its Thick, Delicious and Mysterious.
When I spray this, I'm immediately transported into an Aladdin fairytale and if you imagine the smoke that escapes from the magical Lamp, then it will definitely be Olympea Legend!!! It encaptures you like Thick, Sweet Fog!!! Long Lasting and amazing projection. Ps, I didn't like the original until I tried the Legend. Could easily be a signature scent.

GiareDiLuce

Sweeter than the original, I got the feeling it reminds me of another perfume. There's a predominant sweet note (vanilla, but a kind that reminds me of a mix of honey and licorice), with a vague sharp undertone (possibly the sand and ginger notes) I prefer it to the original on me, it's feminine and mature, though I wouldn't necessarily buy it for me. Maybe as a gift for a strong, sensual woman.

Jadetive

This is a STRONG, sweet, salty caramel, I also imagine a plum cake dotted with little bits of dried apricot.

There is a distinct playdoh scent that I also got with Girl of Now Shine.

I would describe it as a loud, unapologetic fragrance. It's interesting for sure. I would imagine a youthful, feminine, authoritative type of person wearing this.

This is not a comforting or alluring or refreshing scent. I might not even finish the sample that I have.

Gemsense

It's way prettier in cooler weather. I layered this with Jadore Lumiere and it's mesmerising 💞

Pastybarbieloves

I am very on the fence about this. I first tested this in sephora where i fell totally in love with it. I went back a few days later and bought it, only to wear it once and then not want to wear it again due to an oily note that i saw mentioned by someone else. Recently I haven’t noticed it too much, but its still not as incredible to me as when i first tested it. My sister loves it and it wears beautifully on her, so I’m gifting it to her, where I can smell it from a distance (as i prefer it).

natfran98

I randomly smelt this one day at an airport duty-free, and remember thinking it smelt awfully sickly and overpowering. But then I kept thinking about it and ended up getting a sample at the shop when I got back home. I'm yet to find another perfume this unique and powerful that I actually like. It's still quite sickly, and still quite overpowering, but totally addictive. The vanilla seems to exacerbate the plum and gives it a really thick sourness, and then the sea salt and tonka bean creates a bitter background. As it dries down the plum calms down and the vanilla stands out and the sweetness that's left behind is the apricot. It has really strong longevity but can't comment on the sillage as nobody has ever noticed it.
I eventually sold my bottle because my taste changed and I couldn't cope with the heavy, syrupy opening anymore. Still a very unique and daring fragrance that I'll never forget though. Maybe one day I'll grow to love it again.

imgeaslan

Ugh such a disaster for me.
I've ordered Olympéa Aqua Eau de Parfum Legere but this was sent me by mistake.
I spreyed and hated it immediately. There are two notes that never blend and very bad together. Like a sweet fruit with a sour and salty touch.
Dry down is better more creamy but the salt always there
Longevity and sillage are very good by the way.
But don't blind buy I'm gonna return it too.

Lollia007

I am not much into Paco Rabanne's perfumes, however Olympea Legend is something I truly like from the first sniff.
When I am willing to have a fragrance that is very into powedery vanilla cloud, this fragrance is exactly what I need. Great sillage and performance. For hot summer days, however, it is way too intense even for me.

NatGab

Well yes, this is not Olympea, and why this is Olympea flanker is still a question for me.
It is very sweet, much sweeter than others Olympeas, even Intense one. Legend does not have this "marine" sort of vibe, which is the most attractive and uncommon thing in other Olympeas (for me).
Nevertheless, Legend still has saltiness. The combintion of very sweet vanilla, salt and sour plum gives me the feeling of a Butter flavoured pop-corn from Estrella, which can be bought across the Europe (cant speak for other continents). Like a feeling of a slightly turned milk butter, which has been left on a table in 30C for a day or so. This sour plum accord doesn't do any good for the scent.
Having said that, I do not think that Legend is a bad perfume. It is wearable, sweet, gourmand. It is just... meh. Not deep, without any development, atleast on my skin. Most "common" one among Olympeas.
Sillage and longevity are quite impressive. I had 3 full wearings, and all three times I had about 10h on the skin and 2 days on hair.
For me, definitely, it is not a summer scent. Pretty sure it will shine late autumn on a rainy day.

Jenniferknowsbest

Paco Rabanne Olympea Legend is salty sour apricot with a touch of plum. The sand note is there too. It smells weird and sour. Like Original Olympea mixed with sweet and sour sauce. I don't like it. The original Olympea smells better, like salty vanilla, but nothing special on my skin. Olympea Intense is salty orange blossom. It's ok. Nothing special either. I wanted to like them all but I don't like any of them. Legend is my least favourite of the three.

gmr1967

in opening, very sweet fragrance, the notes of sea salt are immediately perceived, giving that hint of strange but pleasant salty which is immediately combined with the spiciness of ginger. The fragrance then settles on sweet notes like vanilla and Tonka bean, slightly warmed by amber. The synthetic sand note makes the whole particular .... And the salty scent is felt over the hours. A particular fragrance that must be understood. Master of this mix Loc Dong among whose creations we find YSL Manifesto, CK's Euphoria and Beyonce's Rise.

Kon-nos91

All those reviews, all this 'hate' and the intriguing descriptions of some fragranticans couldn't leave me unmoved, mostly cause recently I found my new signature from Paco Rabanne that I will keep for a long-looong time.

Str8 to the point, if you're a gourmand or vanilla lover, try it! This isn't a boring or ordinary one. I am impressed and I can't hide it to a point I am thinking seriously of buying a 30 ml bottle. Who? Me, that I hated Olympea in general probably due to the person who used to love it. Loc Donc, the creator is a very modern one. Not only responsible for Olympea of the house but for a lot more like Euphoria-CK, Acqua di Gioia-Armani, Manifesto-YSL (vanilla perfector?!).

If you want me to describe you what my fantasy gets is a freshly baked vanilla cake with some plum and salty butter caramel filling. This is the whole idea that brings me in mind Viva la juicy-Gold Couture just slightly lighter and way less white floral-y. Here and there, I get that solar note that reminds me of white pubbles on a hot beach, waves crushing on the rocks giving you that 'salty' droplets you can breath in, here they call it sand on the base. This, let's call it strange (for me unique) effect lasts for a few hours. Then, the cake thing dominates and starts softening the perfume.

I can't call Olympea Legend an aquatic, nor a fruity perfume although this is the idea behind it. I am the one who doesn't believe in perfumes wearing according to season but this one is 100% a summery one. It's a vanilla that isn't too ordinary or too sweet for hot weather. It's like a sun lotion left on your skin after sunbathing and I am sure I said this thing for another perfume that can't remember right now. About the hate, yes, I can get it. The lasting power is very good, it's sexy. The sillage not the greatest one but in the very first hours everybody and I mean everybody will smell you. You will be scared of what people will think of you getting something synthetic and sweet from you but the whiff they get is actually perfect. Don't forget the house is proposing only strong personalities to wear it. We're talking for a Goddess, right? To end with, I really wanna pay some more attention to it but what keeps me from adding it to my collection is the lack of character. Though, I have to admit that it's a masterpiece and I had such a lot time to be impressed from smelling something new. Last clue, think of Dior's Poison Girl EDP vanilla that stays on your skin at least 10 hours after wearing it. Paco Rabanne, thumbs up from me!

Margarita Birda

Omg!!! This is literally thick plum syrup!! Syrupy sweet plum very unique! Nothing I ever smelled before! I like it a lot! Longevity is beast mode! Can make people dizzy so beware! Go easy on the sprayer and don't blind buy.

tandem_4x4

I do not like sweet fruity vanilla perfumes. Seems Legend is the only one I like because it has that salty note. Very unusual and special. This is my top compliments getter (strangely enough). I do not like other Olympea flankers and the original, they are too boring for me.

I read below negative reviews and can quite understand the feelings of those ladies. It should not be bought blindly. Test it, wear it for a while in various time of the day and seasons to understand.

I think it may be discontinued soon as it is a flanker.

Emjokuh

I've had it for a week, only wore it twice because I was only in the mood to wear it twice and I took advantage of it. It made me feel... gross, nauseated when I first smelled it out of the bottle, I refused to spray it on my skin..

It's got a really weird oily/resinous note to my nose that I'm not seeing mentioned. If I could smell the note individually, it would probably make more sense but it had too much of a strange, "oily body" note to it.

I don't smell salt at all (one of the notes I love most about OG Olympea).

I will persist!!! And the REASON I will persist... is because when I wore it, and I wore it to work, I got major compliments, and the scent sillage and longevity was real.

It got easier to bear as the day went on. I don't always get compliments at work, and I got several this day (4 or 5 compliments, from mostly women, one man).

I will say it smells SO MUCH different on my skin than it does out of the bottle or on paper. The development is key if you're willing to bear the top notes. Like I said, if I could differentiate the notes (my fault, not the Legend's), then I would probably better understand the composition.

I will update the review as my opinion matures!

Mona Lygre

It's a NO from me.

I got a sample from my bestfriend, I haven't tested it before, I was very excited about it because of the notes,

but, it was far to sour for my sensitive nose.

It smells okey in the background, but no, I can't wear such a fruity perfume.

I have Olympea Aqua, and, I love that bottle :))

darbyki18.1

This is my least favorite Olympea. I initially just wanted the original and possibly intense, but Legend was recommended to me out of the flankers. The smell is so strong and intense... a buttery, salty and deep scent ..perhaps the plum and apricot, together makes it sickeningly sweet. I literally have to be sure my stomach is prepared to handle this, because it can turn it. Original Olympea is my favorite, with different intriguing notes, light and refreshing. Legend takes it to a whole other stratosphere. I don't have the energy to sell, etc so I'll be trying to figure out how to layer this scent.

keeleybsmith

Got a sample of this and THANK-GOD I got a sample before buying the full thing. It's horrible. The kind of fragrance that literally makes me feel sick and gives me a headache pretty much straight away. I have NEVER disliked a perfume so much.

I cannot put my nose onto what exactly it is (I will continue to wear it here and there to try and figure it out because I am curious), but there is some ingredient that is just soooo strong and unpleasant. I can smell musk but it's not the musk alone that is throwing me off so much and again, I just can't figure it out..

I also don't think it's the plumb by itself as other fragrances I have smelt with plumb don't smell like this. Maybe it's the mixture of plumb to musk but I am unsure..I will continue to edit this as I figure the damn thing out, lol.

It's long lasting which in this case is NOT great. It's just over the top and too much. My partner felt the same way as me but my mum didn't seem to mind it TOO much which is crazy to me because I cannot for the life of me figure out why anyone would like this and if I walked past someone with this fragrance on I wouldn't be thinking 'I want that' and to be honest I probably wouldn't even register it as a perfume.

Anyway, deffo buy a sample first. I would recommend getting a 1.5 ml sample of ebay if you are wanting to try it. I hate bashing a perfume so much especially since I know everyone is different and I have seen some really good reviews but I just can't find any other words to describe how I feel about this scent.

GOOD LUCK (and have fun) SHOPPING BEAUTIES XOXOXOXO

Wolfchild

I just ordered a bottle. Can't wait! Another blind buy!!!

I just received my bottle in the mail. I've been wearing it for about an hour. The note that stands out the most for me is coconut, and it isn't even listed. This is super sweet! It reminds me a little of suntan lotion. I will have to wear it more before I decide if it's a love or a like.

boannika

On me it's a sultry apricot- vanilla, for every season imo. Don't see any resemblance to the original whatsoever(didn't like that one at all). I got a sample that came with an order, and I sprayed it in my freshly washed hair, and got like 5 compliments within the first few hours. Great sillage and longevity too. Interesting that I like this so much, as I'm hardly a fan of gourmands or fruity perfumes.
P.S. The person down below who stated that it smells like caramel liqueur in the opening was spot on!

TattooGypsy

I'm not sure why this perfume seems to get so much hate. It's quite wonderful! I do sense the original in this, but only slightly. I find it to be unique but in a weird kind of recognizable or familiar way (it reminds of something in my childhood I just can't place). It's just different enough to set it apart without being so out there it's not likeable. It is sweet but with a spiciness, it feels very warm to me. I do definitely get coconut out of this, which I really like alot! The plum is there and of course the vanilla. I love this now in the cool weather, but I am very curious to see how it will react in the heat, so I'm anxious to try it once the weather improves.

I am really surprised by this perfume. I did not know what to expect, especially because I prefer fresh notes, instead of sweet ones. However, this perfume is just brilliant! It is best if you need perfume for a long day at work, at a meeting, or even at a date. It's sweet, but not with a heavy smell. You can really feel the fruits, and after a few hours, the vanilla strikes in. The longevity is good as well, did not feel the need to re-apply during the day.

justfloral

It has almost nothing in common with Olympea EDP.

After spraying: alcohol liqueur (coffee liqueur? caramel liqueur? chocolate liqueur barrels?)
After 15 minutes: I ATE it but I can't recall what it was - coconut balls with creamy filling, with alcohol inside, or cheescake with extra creamy filling on it (with punch) and coconut flakes. There is a yeasty, bready note to it, like wet bread with butter. The same butterbread note as in Dolce Garden!
After 30 minutes: I know! :) It smells exactly like dutch "Kokos Brood" - Coconut Bread (white thin slices made of coconut flakes and coconut fat only, without flour). There is also salty cologney note (in the base) but not so prominent as in other Olympeas.

soo very strange in a good way!.... I first sampled this only from the bottle and hated it, few months later it sat out in my local boots (uk) i decided to spray it on the test strips, and my nose couldnt stop sniffing, i then sprayed some on wrist... it is very unusual and diffrent to the other olympeas, its sweet, but at the same time still has the salty/ sandy vibe going on keeps it from being to sickly, but with its added fruits which come out later along with the creamy vanilla, still sweet but never too much (thank god this has no patchouli).

It then starts becoming a little coconutty after hour or so with almond/sandy notes( favourite stage)
Its gorgeous i have orderd myself a sample online to test again before hopefully comitting to a 30ml.

This stuff also lasts amazingly, its still on my coat sleeve from weeks ago!
i think this is more an evening time scent?
A beach holiday in the sunset, warm sand blowing around you, the salty sea is not to far away...

Test again if you disliked it first! It smells like nothing else i have tried, love the salty/spicy/ creamy sweetness, if you enjoy gourmands with salty notes go for it!! xx

I initially tried this in summer and I hated it, I felt it was too sickly sweet and I found the plum overbearing and unpleasant however it’s winter here in the UK now and I decided to give it another go.. what a surprise although the plum note is still there it’s the vanilla that has now taken centre stage, I don’t get apricot at all, mostly vanilla a little salt and a very slight plum in the background, it isn’t as cloying and much more wearable, not a love but a like, It’s very loud so you need to go easy on the trigger. I wouldn’t recommend blind buying this just because you like the original and it’s other flankers this smells totally different imo.

Jasmindee

Wow - this packs a punch. I sprayed this perfume on my wrists this morning, and 7 hours later it's still floating in the air around me. This is very strong. Very heady and intoxicating, but I'm not sure if it's just a little bit *too* much on me. I'd have to be feeling very confident to wear this, and even if I did reach for it, three sprays would be the max. It would be a super cloying mess if it was any more than that.

Ripe salted plum, peppered rose petals, smooth bourbon vanilla... I think on the right woman this could be very seductive and sexy.

This perfume originally reminded me of something I've smelled a long time ago... If La Nuit Tresor Folie and JLO's LA Glow had a love child, this would be it.

Overall, I think It's very sweet, quite dark and very warming. Not sure if I'm keeping this one yet... Will edit when I make my mind up.

Edit: 21/03/2020 - I sold my bottle. It was far too pungent. My friend literally told me I smelt like a bowl of fermented fruits when I wore this to hers on evening and that was that lol...

I got a decant of this, thinking I will love it, as I really enjoyed the original. From first sniff it is definitely recognisable as a flanker as it does smell a lot like Olympea. But Legen is a lot sweeter and heavier to my nose- the plum and apricot made me think of marmalade and a really strong sugar smell. Partner loved it, but I don't think I could pull it off, as all that sweetness start to irritate me a lot. Ended up scrubbing ot off. I was impressed with how the sillage, it is definitely a perfume that will make you stand out, I imagine the longevity is really good too, even though I couldn't stand it for long enough to find out. If gourmands are your thing, Legend is definitely worth a test!

Migalex

Like other recent releases which have this note they now call ginger, it smells a lot of coconut. The molecules they used to call ginger before did not smell like this. Now it is a different molecule these days very trendy. Lots of other recent fragrances strongly smell of it, like boss the scent intense and absolu and 212 VIP for men. Anyway, I like it much better than the original Olympea.

Perfumedsecrets

This is like food. There's some ripe apricots and plums mixed with salt and creamy vanilla. It's a dessert! I mostly get the fruit because it's so ripe without being spoiled.

I’ve never been interested in Paco Rabanne fragrances before I got the sample of this one. Unexpectedly it opened for me like a Xerjoff Cruz del Sur 2, at least I feel it very similar due to plum note that I adore in both. Now I’m thinking why not buying this one since it is veeery nice and much cheaper than Xerjoff. Of course they are not 100% similar, and you might say that cannot be compared. I agree, but I just describe how I feel it. There is also some alcohol note in Olympea, that I am also in love with. It was a discovery in designers fragrance for me.

Nyrahe

Oh, my sweet, SWEET Olympea. It´s almost incredibly sweet how sweet you are. Your sweet scent is everything that those sweet people around me could smell when I walk by them on Sugar street number 57, with you, my sweetie on my skin of vanilla color.

No for real. Did I mention that Olympea Legend is sweet? Becouse it is! What an amateur La vie est belle is compared to Legend. Uf!

But surprisingly, I like Olympea much much more than LVEB. (Don´t get me wrong they are very different). I like it even more than original Olympea. But it´s really...you know...sweet. So if you like it, as well as I do, be careful where, when, and how much you´ll put on :)

This was definitely a grower but still not my favourite. Bought this on impulse and immediately regretted it because it was so sweet but over time I appreciated the fragrance more, it's salted caramel note is definitely strong but it has that apricot note that helps tone it down after a while, it wears down to a soft salty vanilla, nicer than it sounds 😂. People also loved this fragrance on me more than I did haha. I think it would great for younger girls who like sexy sweet fragrances

fillifelle

A fleshy, voluptuous vanilla with a coconutty vibe. Fans of Sensuous Nude or Terracotta ought to try this. Very much in the same vein. I’m not usually a fan of fruity notes but the apricot note here is done very well. Nothing synthetic or screechy. It’s a jammy apricot (without looking at the notes beforehand I was guessing mango) compote, all golden and syrupy, balanced very nicely with the vanilla. Key words: creamy, luscious.

I have smelled a lot of vanilla fragrances and even this adds something different to the mix.

Edemay

Sweet and sour fruits with the 'sand note' is what I smell.
Out of all the Olympea's I like this most, I find the others a bit to heavy on me.
Would make a perfect summer or holiday scent.

Recently sweet perfumes have been giving me a headache so I was slightly apprehensive about testing it. On top of that I am not a fan of Olympea nor of Paco Rabanne but this... this is just too good! Man it's so sweet to the point of making me sick but still I keep craving it. The combination of plum, salt and vanilla is just amazing. It smells cosy, warm and delicious and just hits all the right spots. I love how the salt is offset by the sweet fruity vanilla, just how I like it. It's perfect as a pick me up during these cold months. It's long lasting on my skin but becomes very soft after a while. My bf thinks it's amazing aswell and he usually doesn't really care for my perfumes.

lulu169

i can smell straight up milk chocolate. anything else. which is a good thing though.

candy_hearts_dc

I think this is much better in the cooler weather, in summer I found it a bit too overpowering and stuffy, but now it’s much lighter in the cooler months and I prefer it!

h_fallata

Love it ! Its unique and reminds me of baby powder or new baby diapers (unused baby diapers) if you know what I mean

rogataja

Whenever I wear this perfume to work I get compliments. Girls come up to me to ask what perfume I'm wearing. At the moment I am going through a phase where I crave really sweet perfumes and it definitely satisfies this craving. I find the smell intoxicating.

Annica

What a fruity mess this is and how terribly sweet it is. This is a NO NO for me.
