Super tart. Like mouth puckering tart. The warheads candy of the fragrance world. Fresh and interesting, will definitely wake you up in the morning, but kind of one note and not something I want to smell that often. I like it in a weird way but more as an oddity, I think. Grapefruit, rhubarb, and some sort of hibiscus concoction that is almost sour- this could have gone no other way. I’m assuming the brief for this was “tangy” and that was accomplished.

Aromazeal

Yeah.. ive given up on hibiscus fragrances. They just end up smelling sour!

Oxidia

It's ok, but for the notes that are here, i can smell a very sweet honeydew mellon. I don't like honewdew melon. But the scent is overall ok, sweet but subtle.

Esna

Pine-Sol, purple fabuloso, lemon Pledge, lemon sorbet sugar body scrub, toronja lemonade, pink Fabuloso with a limited edition Barbie premier sticker, accidental lemon squirt in your eye and a six pack of Fanta sodas.

Andreea2906

Jean-Claude Ellena failed me with this one. I just received a sample and unfortunately, all I can smell is pickled peppers :(

At first I liked Aqua Amantia a lot, since I'm getting the rhubarb in addition to grapefruit. I love Rhubarb by Hermes, but this is the sharper and little longer lasting version of that. I would say these are not so much alike in the end and definitely not comparing on the drydown. Aqua Amantia can be very beautiful and fresh. Just like a fruity lemonade! But the longer I have this, the less I like it. I feel it's too sharp for me, since it can give me a headache if I spray even a bit too much... The Hermes one is much more rouned and sophisticated compared to this one.

On me it is very bitter, woody, almost an old apothecary scent. But it’s not overwhelming, so I wear it sometimes.

Flizz

At first spray i get overwhelmed by the strong cedar smell(even tho it's supposed to be a base note?). It takes me to an early summer morning in a cabin in the pine woods. Kind of reminds me of my grandpa, so a unisex scent, almost men's cologne vibes. If this hadn't evolved, I would've pressed "dislike" on this one for use for myself.

I'm not sure what hibiscus is supposed to smell like, but I had an evening tea with it in it and I wasn't a fan of the taste... Sour and flowery, a little bitter maybe.

Grapefruit is noticeable in the drydown, that has a slighty more feminine hint, maybe because of the flowery notes.

I would call this a fresh/refreshingly, green, citrusy and possibly soapy scent suited for warm days in spring and early summer :) something for the calm, nature lover!

lmnsvgz

This smells bitter. The hibiscus flower is nice but the grapefruit note overwhelms it.

Ankvak

It's very stingingly citrusy and I wasn't a fan. But when it dries down it's lovely floral rhubarb and I fell in love!

ibibonica

could have been called "Cedar Water".

LaContessina

Very nice take on a fresh, citrus/ grapefruit / fruity summer scent.
Smells like a lemon sherbet garnished with a cascade of redcurrant (that has an acidic fruity taste and smell) plus grenadine syrup.
But it's not sugary at all... remains acidic tart and somehow crisp.
Screams summer, beach parties and a lot of colourful cocktails.

I don't get the rhubarb others may find (to me rhubarb is bitter and no bitterness here), but I smell the hibiscus, like the one I can find in hibiscus tea (that I really like; in Italy we call this tea " karkadè" a name from the Ethiopian "karkadeb" where such tea is typical ).

This is a very easy, young fresh summer spray, to be reapplied often cause it has 1h lasting power, alas.

PS: very similar to A Girl in Capri for the zestiness and fruity note. AGIC is way more longlasting, though.

To me this is a kind of fruity and herbal bath product type cologne. I enjoy the first sniff but would say if you overspray nausea and headache lurk nearby, the sweetness has an underlying note that is bothering me, maybe the grapefruit is not playing well with my skin. As with many citrus fragrances and colognes my skin throws it off in less than half an hour.

AnitaHendricks

Pretty, sweet hibiscus with a woody warmth and a hint of fresh lemon! This perfume is simple but nice!

Basman

This reminds me of Sugardaddy from Fugazzi.
But a lot more affordable.
I would probably get away with this as a guy if I looked the part but generally i'd see more women wearing this.
A casual fragrance that would really catch my attention if a women wears this.

Reminds very much Rhubarb by Hermes!

Edit: After more of sprays I have concluded that Hermes version of rhubarb is smoother and slightly sweet. Here it is somehow more down to earth and tarty. Hermes smells more tolerable ..but none of them I enjoy))

A floral suitable for the warmer months. Grapefruit keeps the scent a bit crispy, almost soapy, and the hibiscus is very pleasing and fresh. As it's a simple scent, I think it could blend well with some linear vanillic fragrance if one wishes to twist it a bit. It's a light and carefree fragrance for sunny days!

EDIT (11/2023): As I am decluttering my perfume shelf, this is going. I don't reach for this and now that I smelled it as part of critically assessing my perfume portfolio, this has a chemical smell to it that I dislike. It might also just be the grapefruit, I don't know, but it is too Fairy-like. I bought this in 2022 to satisfy my hibiscus graving on a budget, but honestly just invest in Hibiscus Mahajad if you want a realistic and natural smelling hibiscus.

OTA Mom

Intense grapefruit/rhubarb scent with just a touch of hibiscus. From the house website, the actual notes:

Note de tête : Pamplemousse
Note de cœur : Absolu d’Hibiscus & Accord Rhubarbe
Note de fond : Cèdre

haleyscents

Has a rhubarb note not listed here. This reminds me of Tropical Skittles, but more fancy. It's very uplifting, feminine & fruity🍹 Longevity is poor for me sadly

sphynxcat

Very fruity- Grapefruit and rhubarb . A bit too sweet and syrupy for me. It smells like an accord from JCE'S Jour d'Hermes Absolu which was a sweeter version of the original IIRC.

Storí

It's a nice fresh hibiscus heavy scent, but it's definitely not special. I could see this coming from the cheap Russian house, Brocard.

Celestya

For hibiscus lovers, a fresh floral fruity fragrance. Perfect for spring and summer, feminine to my opinion. Compatible with the open space. This can be a signature scent, inoffensive.
8/10

What can I say absolutely stanning performance this fragrance smell expensive so beautiful smells. This smells what I am looking for this summer not too sweet not to Spicy not too overdose. Very unique wow wow wow 10 /10/10 fantastic

Pinja

Starts fruity-woody, then dries down to fruity-woody aromachemicals.
Fizzy, acidic (like mentioned before), and woody.
Quite like Eau Pure by Biotherm.

M.r

It really reminds me Hermes Rhubarbe écarlate. All I can smell it's actually the same impression of rhubarbe smell. It's fizzy, acidic, juicy...
It doesn't wow me.

LenaM

I'm not yet sure what I think if this, but it sure brings back memories. It reminds me of my high school girlfriends, all of them, collectively.
It must be the very sweet – almost sticky – hibiscus/grapefruit juice, laced with something odd that makes me think of cigarette smoke and chewing gum. In the best of ways.
I can't help but sniff my wrist and smile.
