Kenzo World Eau de Toilette Kenzo for women

Beautiful gentle floral perfect for Spring and Summer. First spray is a bit scratchy, as if a distant puff of salty sand tickles your nose, but then the pretty flowers open like a breath of fresh scented air. The blend of peony and rose is soft, pretty, with a lingering ultra feminine touch. It's more creamy in the heat, more powdery in cool weather. Overall this perfume is light but persistent, leaving a beautiful trail . It stays on skin for 6 hours, and clings to hair and fabrics until you wash it off. Projection is moderate for the first 4 hours, then it stays closer to skin, still leaving a soft trail as you walk by. The vanilla darkens over time, changing to a deep amber color, becoming richer, adding better longevity to the perfume. This EDT is different from the original EDP. I own and love them both.

If you like rose soap, that typical lotion scent and sweet powder, all without being juvenile or over the top, this one's for you! This is so softly floral, lotion-y and cute Kind of innocent. The pear is the same as in Irresistible. They have some of the same vibe, but I actually prefer this one. This lasts longer and is more like a "real" perfume. This is perfect for everyday wear or work, I would wear this any season too. I think this would be more suited for people 25+. It doesn't smell amazing close-up, but very lovely if you let it come to your nose instead.

Nothing special but very pretty nonetheless, a sweet, light and wholly inoffensive scent! Could see this as a safe gift for a younger female relative if she enjoys the colour pink, could also see a office lady with a cute manicure wearing this to work.

Much less intense than its version in the emerald green bottle, but at the same level of quality and finish, that's for sure! Although I'm not sure I'd like to have one for myself, for now!

A rather frightening opening, due to the odd combination of citrus touches, pear juice and another oily almond content, with zero flowers and one note trying to overlap the other; It was messy, I must say, but if I can get through his exit, it'll be pure joy!

A garden of living Roses and another bouquet of dewy Peonies stand out in the heart, bringing a sensation of neatness, freshness, absolute cleanliness and, at the same time, admirable joviality; cool this tender feeling of young age that he refers here!

Finally, it becomes a fragrance that is very close to the skin, with a vanilla background, and hints of sensual musk, and a few more pinches of wet woods and a very shy, very exquisite lily and for those people who admire more intimate perfumes, who seek to perfume themselves only for themselves!

I was disappointed. It smells like the soap of Marseille :( I didn't like it at all. I could have bought Allure or Coco Mademoiselle 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

The notes look just divine, I imagined something lovely and softer. It doesn't smell like Nivea at all. Very interesting composition, I find it hard to make my mind up about it. I smell something slightly sharp, it's not creamy and too soft (like Nivea), I think, I would really love it without the pear as something stands out too much and destroys that beautiful soft, flowery, milky undertone, which is felt throughout. It is slightly powdery, I'd probably love it if it was less on that sweetness. It's not cloying by all means, nothing close to LVEB sweetness, but I can't love it as it still annoys me.

My mom owned this one a long ago. Not the best versatile female fragrance, but I still recommend it for you to wear during warm weather. I'm not basically a Kenzo perfumes fan, but I recognize this one as the best pick. It has a wonderful rose smell, gotta love how the base notes provide your girlfriend, wife or best friend with that blameless smell of a musk, violet, vanilla and sandalwood. You also really gonna love the freshness of the perfume. I recommend this one.

Something in this fragrance is off putting to my nose and I really think it’s the rose. To me, this does smell like Nivea body cream/lotion but less pleasant because of that rose. I get the peony here but it’s overshadowed by sharp rose. I’m hoping I can find a way to tone that note down as I’m in love with the bottle and otherwise find the fragrance pleasant.

I think this could be worn as a casual everyday scent. It has decent lasting power and forms a light and airy scent bubble. I could also see this being worn to bed

I was not the biggest fan of Kenzo World EDP, I didn't hate it but found it rather mediocre and kind of messy. Because some reviewers described the EDT as not similar to the original and as a Nivea cream type of scent, I still wanted to try it.

Well, I do think it's similar to the EDP, but less fruity and more floral, and more harmonious all in all. Both have the same lush, humid, syrupy texture that is also found in the My Burberry line, which is no surprise as they're all by the same perfumer, Francis Kurkdjian.
World EDT starts out fruity, I'm not sure if I would have identified it as pear though. It's sweet and juicy, but the floral notes of dewy rose and peony already peek through. I'm glad they left out the red berries that clashed with the peony in the EDP. After I while the scent becomes creamier and a little powdery with the almond blossom, musk and orris, which is quite pleasant. It's clearly almond blossom, not almond, so this is not gourmand at all, but it's much sweeter than Nivea and similar body cream scents. I wouldn't put it into the "clean and freshly showered" category, it's a sweet fruity floral to me. When I once tried it in an overheated mall with a heavy winter jacket on I noticed it turned sickly on my skin, so I'd say this is better suited to mild weather and lighter clothes.
After 6 hours I can barely smell it today, so the performance is nothing to write home about. The whole scent is nothing extraordinary, but it's nice and likeable.

i imagine a flirty, mature lady wearing this - the same lady on the bus that sprayed on too much perfume and is suffocating you.

would recommend getting a tester before making a purchase.

I love this perfume so very much, it's calming and clean, smelling very soapy, and, I love the soapy smell in it, it reminds me of my Black Mexx and my beloved Escada Especially perfumes.

10/10 points, fits everybody in the universe, and I also think this perfume will smell very good on men :))

How bright, uplifting and feminine! This is one of those scents if you want to feel fresh, clean and pretty: then splash this on and you're good to go!

Kenzo 'World' EDT smells NOTHING like the EDP and falls into the same category as Ferragamo 'Signorina' EDT (Except I love Signorina more).
First spray I get that crisp, soapy pear. It's definitely citrusy on me and not sweet (if you're looking for sweet pear go for Katy Perry's 'Meow' EDP). Within 5 minutes the florals come in, they are tart! My skin projects the rose most. As it dries down it's quite linear: Powdery, crisp pears on a bed of tart, soapy roses. I get way more peony in 'World' EDP.

Is it a complex, unique scent? No definitely not. Do I think it's an easy reach for all daytime occasions in warm weather? Heck yes!
P.S. If you're looking for a more mature version of this scent 100% go for Lancôme's Idole range.

I dont Think this is similar to Nivea which I’m familiar with.
But I do Think its similar to Dove soap/lotion.

Nivea skin cream--powdery florals and waxy fruit, with that unmistakable odd sweet musk.

It's nice, but the flashback to all my mid-eighties high school angst hit me like a slap, and I swear my face broke out in sympathetic second puberty.

Peony and pear on top, orris root and Duran Duran on the bottom.

This is very sweet on me, almost in a sickly way. It must be the pear notes. A shame because so like a lot of Kenzo perfume. I really like the bottle and it convinced em to give it a try.

This perfume is very light. Perfect office scent; no one would be offended by this scent. Use it for a tranquil afternoon or to go to sleep at night. Such a delicate scent could even suit a child. I love eyes....so I love the bottle. However, the contents of the kitschy bottle are quite inoffensive.

I would describe this as a clean, fresh floral. Perfect for spring time. Not offensive in any way. Lots of comparisons to Nivea cream fragrance (and body lotion) which I cannot attest to as I have not smelled that one. This is very feminine and pretty. I don't know how much I will reach for this as I have a lot of other fragrances that I like and enjoy a lot more than this one but I am not mad that I own it. It is not very loud - sillage and projection I would say are moderate at best - which for Kenzo is unusual. Usually their fragrances project and last a long time on me.

UPDATE: 12hrs later on my scarf - I can still smell it !! Longevity is awesome !

It is very pleasant❤️Clean, powdery a little bit skin-like sweet. I’m not smelling nivea cream here at all. Opening is very fresh, after some time it’s more powdery but not in bad way. It’s safe blind-buy I guess if you like clean-fresh scents 😊

An eccentric bottle with a special scent inside it! (There should never be lame/generic fume inside a bottle that has this much character.)

I like how the powdery note is combined with the fresh florals. A very pleasant, easy to approach perfume, that is not generic. Pleasant but not boring. I could wear this anytime and I like the eye.

The other day I got a tester of this and I wholeheartedly agree with Albiretu, this smells SO much like Nivea cream!

There's definitely a little bit added fruitiness going on, but the Nivea vibe is super strong.

Longevity in cooler European weather (15-20 Celsius, 59-68 Fahrenheit) is rather weak on me. I can smell it for about 2-3 hours. Sillage is also rather quiet. I guess people will mostly smell it when you move by them, as in getting into /out of the same elevator, moving by their desk closely etc.

It's inoffensive, clean, fresh, feminine, the perfect office fragrance. Might also fit well with a white dress meeting your friends for a spring or summer brunch. Weirdly also I could picture 1980s Steffi Graf (or insert any other 80s or early 90s tennis player) to be promoting it.

I don't think I would go out of my way to buy this, but I wouldn't be mad if I got it as a gift randomly. It's a no brainer pick for the daytime and for settings when you're not sure people will appreciate stronger fragrances or not. I'd definitely use it up.

I remember leaving a rather underwhelming review for Kenzo World EDP some years ago. This one, however, is a whole different story. Very powdery, but in a good way, almond milk-like scent with barely there vanilla and very delicate heart notes. I'd compare it to the smell of skin (not leather, but clean, soft human skin, if you know what I mean).

In love with this, smells to me like Nivea Cream, literally identical to it. Such a calming and soothing scent, appropriate for all occasions, from a work lunch to a family brunch, to even a wedding, really really anything... It makes me feel like I just stepped out of the shower and put cream on, feeling fresh, clean, sexy, and in a good mood.
It has a hint of creamy floral soapiness, it makes me think of thick dense Nivea cream when you lather your hands with it. Great sillage, projection, longevity. I sprayed a couple sprays in the store around 6-7 hours ago and it's still very very noticeable. I will be doing my research to find this for cheap and I will most definitely buy myself a full size bottle. Gorgeous scent, better than the EDP (which is completely completely different), although I like that one too.
Thank you to the Sephora SA for giving me a sample of the EDP, I was not aware of these beauties by the house of Kenzo. Can't wait to get this.

Oh what a beautiful clean fresh and feminine fragrance. Its gentle yet string and smells of pure femininity.
It is not like a bar of soap but it does have a soapy characteristic to it.
I love it .... It's definitely a fragrance that leaves you wanting more

You said it: Nivea in a perfume bottle!

This is a nice, safe and inoffensive scent, different to the EdP - much safer and much more tamed.

Pleasant enough and something I might wear should I not have anything else to wear. Just like I would use my Nivea lotion should I not have any more fancier lotions around.

Normally I love peony and pear notes, but those notes are far too muted in this scent for them to really shine, unfortunately.

For those expecting a pretty pink every day scent this is great. If you are expecting much more, like I was based on the notes and Kenzo's own description of the scent, this may be a slight disappointement.

Kenzo recycled the bottles after La Perla discontinued Eclix.

It's an ok fragrance, not bad but not groundbreaking either. I like it better than the edp, but still smell pretty average. It's not worth buying for me, since there are so many similar scents for a much lower price.

Like many already said it smells pretty much exactly like Nivea cream. Since I love Nivea I love this quite a bit. Finally a smell like the actual cream. I think I need this ! Just smells clean , baby like,Nivea lotion and baby powder. Complete compfort to me :)
Ended up buying this. Love it as a daily out of the shower perfume. It just smelles clean , freshly bathed and like a baby’s but lol. Pure Nivea smell !

Maybe this fragrance is more nice from the line for this moment, imho. Almond powder, peony and pear. Not bad. But not catchy enough.

I don't deny that the shape of the bottle intrigued me a lot.
A bit juicy at first, this scent quickly becomes soft, soapy and powdery. To my nose the main notes are peony and bergamot, along with violet.
Surprisingly I like this fragrance that reminds me of the smell of blossoming trees in spring.

I ended up buying this off of QVC blindly. This is the first time I've ever done that when the reviews have not been so great. The reason I went ahead and did it it's because the notes listed are all things that I love. I am so happy that I bought it. I can really smell the peony but it's kind of muted with what smells like a somewhat soapy Rose. It does not smell like Chloe but it reminds me of Chloe. I really really like it. So much that I'm considering getting the EDP

Floral gourmand dense hand cream with hint of soapiness. Soft, feminine, cozy. In a way powdery and clean scent. Not too serious, potentially can fit most situations.

Why do I smell Nivea lotion?

The packaging promises "a surprising complicity between fizzy pear, glowing peony, almond blossom, and the feminine orris". And it delivers. It's quite potent to begin with - predominantly sweet almond and fruit. The fizz they describe reminds me of sherbert, and the delicate floral notes come out as it mingles with your skin. It's a sweet floral, with a shot of almond and sugar on top. And it's beautifully done.

Unremarkable, pink fruity-floral. Does not have any personality I barely remember it and I was wearing it a couple of days ago. It lasts rather well on me, and I could feel the wafts of its unremarkable smell good 6 hours. There's also a chemical note peaking out here and there, reminds me of dust a bit. Such a shame - these eye bottles and commercial have such potential - if only they would launch something memorable like Flower or Jungle pillars, but no - they went with the easiest possible fruity-floral ...

Weird powdery sweet a synthetic scent... Let's not make this one a huge hit, please.. It gives me headaches on top of all.

I didn't like the EDP and this one is far better, but still not anything I would like.
I definitely sense sweet almond in it. There's also synthetic pear mixed with a floral note that does not smell like peony to me. At least not a natural peony.

This is likeable but nothing new. Fresh, pinkish, crisp, breezy etc. Same vibe as Versace Bright Crystal.

Just tried it, it is very nice. Soft fresh and a bit powdery...if you like soft scents, this is lovely..it is pink like the bottle! Would be perfect if you want to wear something light, non intrusive..to smell pretty on a spring day..

Very mild, perfect office fragrance. Everyone would think that you have just a nice deodorant or you used a scented shampoo in the morning. Wear it if you have a misfortune of working in a fragrance free space.

This is nice, but unimpressive. It is inoffensive, light and quite mainstream. It smells cheaper than it really is. Longevity is disappointing,3 hours and you can not smell anything anymore.
I also don't get any powder.

This is brilliant. I prefer this to the edp. It's a beautiful design in person. Smells lovely. A good mood lifting fragrance.

I prefer this version to Eau de perfume, which I don't like due to the smell of rotten berries I can feel in the dry down. Eau de toilette is much quieter, delicate flowery with a touch of fruit. Nothing extraordinary, but quite pleasant.

OMG, I must have this at some point, I so can't wait, I have the other two Kenzo World perfumes, and the notes to this sound just as amazing!!! I love this line, and could see them doing all colors of eyes!
