When I would put on this perfume it would smell like I stepped in dog poo, same for my mum☹️ which is sad because I really loved the smell in the bottle 😔

Top notes: plum, litchi, grapefruit
Middle notes: heliotrope, vanilla orchard, jasmine
Base notes: roasted tonka bean, benzoin, sandalwood

WHY is there so much misinformation on fragrantica? Ffs.

I’m so in love! I’ve recently tried so many perfumes on the hunt for another signature scent. My current is Black Opium, and was looking for something else I could get away with wearing during the day and at work.
Admittedly I’m someone who loves a warm, strong scent, even in the daytime, and a bit of a gourmand lover. I can’t really stand florals, woodiness, sparkly tones, or artificial fruity scents. So finding something fresh as well as warm & sexy is a little tricky. Is this perfume it? Well, personally again as a strong scent lover, let’s just say it’s pretty damn close. The plum and other fruits make this scent so unique - to me, anyway- without being sickly, and without loosing that rich warmth of vanilla and Tonka. It’s dark and yet fun and yummy.
On first spray it packs a punch and is probably easy to dismiss as ‘too much.’ But let it sit for a few moments and it’s divine and classy.
If you like light, airy, summery scents, ofcourse this isn’t for you. But if you’re happy to make an impact without just being sugary sweet and having a little fruity goodness in there, you’ll like it. And at its price point, you won’t regret it.
And I personally think the bottle is lovely. Not too ridiculous but not boring either.
Yay! I found a new signature!

lilizzie

i so wish this was stronger!!!! it doesn't last even layered up with moisturizer but it's so good

Arina8Sierra

Very sugar like sweet! Unfortunately reminds me of cotton candy. Haha Definitely not for me and would only recommend for younger girls who like sweet perfumes.

Layering combos I love with JC Fever:
+ Vanilla Mocha Martini
+ Ballet Nights
+ Dark Kiss
+ Snowflakes & Cashmere
+ Autumn Shore (VS)
+ Cheirosa 40 (Sol de Janeiro)

I was looking for a unisex Rose 🌹fragrance so I thought I’d try the women’s dept. the sales lady assumed I was shopping for wife and gave me a sample. I LOVE THE WAY THIS SMELLS. Over the next weeks I kept the sample in my jacket pocket & would just randomly smell it. Then I started wearing 1 spray on the back of my hand every now and again just to enjoy it.
Now, 8 weeks later my 2mL is empty ☹️ and I want to go back to the mall and get another one. 😁

I really thought I would like this but I don't lol. There is a sent in this that doesn't agree with me... I bought a bunch f samples to test because of too many blind buys gone wrong. I personally don't think it smells like Black Opium at all. I will not repurchase. the bottle design is nice.

Zeddyteddy

This is beautiful - like a warm hug. But it doesn’t last beyond 2 hours so I’m disappointed. I’ll enjoy my bottle and not repurchase. I’ll wear for snuggly evenings in.

BetsyGH

The plum note is very prominent. I don't smell any other of the notes which would've been nice (coffee). It reminds me a little of a throwback scent from Dior in the 80s Poison line. Definitely a night-at-the-opera scent, for the fall and winter seasons. I probably won't get through this larger bottle and will be giving the rest away.

Katazoufala

Soapy coffee is all I get, nothing gourmand about this + the longevity shi :/

Babyboonme

I love it. Smells like the color purple but warm. I do smell some of the floral notes but its more juicy. For an inexpensive perfume it's great. It doesn't last all day but for 40 bucks who cares.

toosimilar

The version of Jimmy Choo i rather like, but not overly

Gillzathrillza

I’ve had this for a while and it’s not my most reached for, but it’s a nice perfume to get me through the day.

I don’t get a lot of the notes - the plum and vanilla are the most prominent for me. I do enjoy it and the performance is great for what I paid (although I got a very good deal) - if I wear it to bed, I can smell it clearly the next morning.

It’s a decent perfume, very wearable and inoffensive. Not the star of my collection, not distinguishable, but a good option for days when you need an easy choice.

Lucky7z

One of my favorites!!
The main notes I smell are litchi, plum, vanilla, jasmine and I know it’s not listed but a hint spice/pink pepper!!

This is a compliment getter for me and longevity and silage are both moderate on me.

NadiasmellsGorgeous

I bought this as a blind buy at Ross. Upon first sniff, I wasn’t thrilled, it was a little too floral and powdery. But I immediately got “you smell good” compliments, so I kept wearing it. Now it’s an everyday perfume for me (not signature scent tho). My signature scent is Kat Von D sinner (discontinued), so I’m on the hunt for anything with dark fruits as the opener.
All perfumes that start with black currant or plum smell sexy on me. It doesn’t last that long tho and dies down to a skin scent after a couple hours. I would keep getting it if I can find it in discount places.

colorblindlove

I wanted to like this so bad but this lasted maybe 1 hour on me. I got the travel size spray at ulta so I know its authentic but I sprayed it on my wrist and on my clothes and I couldnt smell it on me or my clothes by the second hour. PASS! I took it back to ulta along with the regular jimmy choo perfume asap. I guess me and jimmy choo arent meant to be :( None of them last on my skin.

MistyDayyy

This was another perfume I got without smelling. I ended up liking it. However, I didn’t smell a lot of the main notes listed in the description. I’m getting powder, florals, sandalwood, and a bit of vanilla. When I first smelled it I was immediately reminded of another perfume. In my opinion it smells a mashup of Fame by Lady Gaga and one of Beyoncé’s older perfumes. The lotion smells identical to Fame, but the perfume smells like a mix. In my opinion this is more of a date night scent, but it can work with any season/weather.

wxbycc

I have been searching for something that evenly vaguely resembles Le Preire, Midnight Rain. I received a gift card and was limited on selection. I circled the store a few different occasions and on the last occasion I decided to read the notes and smell some brands I didn’t normally go for. Well, I almost completely excused this fragrance. Then I’m like okay, give it another shot. I was flooded with scent memories and visuals of just the most romantic, rainy, delectable, exhilarating of times in my life. Then I had memories of a similar discontinued fragrance. This is the most similar to Midnight Rain than anything I have found.

Update: at full price I didn’t keep her. I did receive some compliments. However after spraying I went completely anosmic to this unless I pressed my nose into my skin. Definitely a scent that sits close to the skin on myself. I returned, and the search continues.

Also, does anyone else find the connection to midnight rain? Any other fragrances they would recommend that compare?

LEM922

So I’m smelling this off an insert and um… where are all the notes? Lmao! It smells nice, dont get me wrong… but it does NOT smell like its pyramid whatsoever. Pretty, slightly deep linear floral scent to my nose. A little bit mature. Maybe it’s because it’s an insert and I haven’t sprayed it, but this isn’t anything complex. Nice, but would be a pass for me. It literally just smells like nondescript florals with a slightly dark fruity edge on the top (although fleeting).

Tashateex

I was a bit disappointed in this scent as I expected a bit more from reading the notes.

I get the plum, vanilla, and woodiness, but for me this lacks depth to it. I wouldn't say this is an interesting scent at all and it does not project that well and longevity is not that great.

This was a blind buy, but luckily I only bought the 40ml. Once I have used this up I will not be repurchasing.

Milimili

I almost bought this but after several tests decided sadly this one is too powdery for me.

The plum/vanilla combo is very nice. I do not smell any spices, coffee or anything else really, just plum, vanillla and powder. Also I smell more powder on my skin than on paper.
Please keep in mind I might have a weak nose (frequent sinus infections as a child)

Can anyone recommend something similar please, just less perfumey? (preferably no distinct white flowers or masculine notes either)

Lovescents3

I really enjoy this scent.
I mostly find myself wearing it around the house in the evenings.
It is a sweet, very powdery, vanilla to me, with a hint of coffee and stronger hint of hazelnut

It is extremely likable and great value for money. Projects for 2 to 3 hours before becoming a skin scent. It’s quite unique and well blended and I can see myself purchasing it again once I go through my current bottle.

CustardBunny

floral, sweet, vanilla, comforting, like a warm hug from a blanket.
the top notes are all of this, however, the base notes are dull to say the least. alcoholic and just not it.
overall, a lovely fragrance smelling like a fruit cocktail.

Beauty&d'beastmode

I think Jimmy Choo Fever is office friendly, mainly because it is not a strong projector, and a safe blind buy if you like (or love) blind buying like me. If the scent was better performing, on me, this would rock as a date night/going out scent.

At the start I smell some tart fruitiness but I am not able to differentiate the individual fruit top notes. I can also smell a powdery woodiness, with a hint of coffee and soapy florals. I think I’d prefer if the coffee note was stronger. On the whole the combination of the notes is harmonious and well blended.

I find JC Fever mostly linear, after a couple of hours the fruitiness fades slightly and the powdery woodiness, with a hint of coffee, is more prominent.

The performance in terms of longevity and projection is not what I hoped. I do have to overspray so that it lasts 6 to 8 hours and I don’t get much of a scent bubble. Hence why I wouldn’t repurchase.

cl195238

I get a rich plum pie with the perfect light touch of florals, especially in the first hour or two. This stage is addictive. It lasts a pretty long time, but it definitely becomes a bit more of a “generic sweet 2010s perfume" smell in the last few hours of its longevity.

I can understand why some people consider this a “going out” scent, but that plum pie vibe is so cozy to me that it’s more of a staying in scent in my mind. Delicious for fall and winter.

SweetEnigmaticSoul

I received this as a gift the spring of 2022 and I fell in love with another perfume! Very lovely scent that I will always repurchase for thyself and keep in perfume collection!

I love the plum & litchi in this! Extremely underrated heavy hitting fragrance! 🌹💋😘

Loliky

Ch3rrybomb

I haven’t smelt this in YEARS but i remember my grandma used to have a bottle of it and i would always sneak little sprays of it before i went to school to impress my little crush. i occasionally get whiffs of it

AinoKaroliina

I can immediately pick up the coffee and a toasted note, which I believe is the hazelnut. The grapefruit is subtle.

Sweet, but not in a fruity and juicy way, this smells more gourmand to me, like caramel/toffee. Funnily enough with the Jimmy Choo edp that has toffee listed in the notes I don't really smell the toffee note, but with this I do and it's not listed! I can sense the tonka bean in the base too. It goes well with the coffee, nut and vanilla.

Best suited for fall in my opinion.

igalmusic

Such a underrated scent, absolutely stunning! Don't understand comparisons to Black Opium at all... this one is a powdery, juicy plum, heliotrope and vanilla scent.

PlanetGrl

Very yummy gourmand, just shy of too sweet. This is for a date or happy hour.

Feige

(Disclaimer: I blind bought a 4.5 ml version of this as a birthday gift to myself. It doesn’t have a atomiser so it may affect the scent)

- Similarities to Candy -
I agree with Barbarossa’s review below me. Prada’s Candy was one of my first high end perfumes which I loved to wear during winter as a comforting blanket. Jimmy Choo’s fever has those very similar warm and sweet attributes that I loved in Candy as a teen. But Fever has a more grown up touch to it, which I’m very happy about. I get to enjoy my teenage nostalgia of Candy as an adult and make new memories with Fever.

- Description of Fever -
It opens with a yummy rich plum that makes me think of these Polish chocolate covered plum sweets (Śliwki w czekoladzie). The flowers show up about half a minute later or so which compliments the plum nicely. Soon after this stage, the scent makes me think of a sticky plum jam or syrup but it doesn’t last long either. The plum and the florals begin to blend harmoniously which results in this cozy, Prada Candy reminiscent scent. I find that it’s more chocolatey rather than caramel-y though. Could it be the coffee? This stage also reminds me the tiniest bit of Elizabeth Arden’s True Love. This stage lasts the longest. The drydown is a soft and sweet vanilla scent on me.

- Final Thoughts -
I think it’s going to be a lovely scent to wear when it’s snowing outside and I’m wrapped up in a big scarf. It was the best way to enjoy Candy for my teenage self :)

Edit: it smells a little bit more floral on clothes than on my skin.

Edit2: I dabbed a lot this morning and the projection was decent. However the scent almost completely disappeared after about 5 hours. There’s just the smallest trace of vanilla left.

2024-01-13 update: I love this scent so much for cold weather, I decided to purchase a 60 ml version. The rich, chocolate plum is absolutely addicting. It’s a shame the staying power is weak - I’ll have to keep the bottle in my bag so I can respray when needed.

Barbarossa

To me it’s actually more reminiscent of Prada Candy (the dry down of it), but more intense with added plump note, less powdery, creamier, deeper and sweeter.
Very cozy. Has a great lasting power and better protection than Candy has.

safyre

Great fall scent, the dry down when it's cool out is lovely, but it should be noted that this isn't too memorable of a scent, smells like a lot of other smells which makes the price point.... kinda unattractive. I have the travel size so I'm definitely going to look for dupes before repurchasing. I wish I got more vanilla notes off this EDP though, dries down really fruity and sandalwood-ey on my skin.

aflakes

Years ago, I thought this was too syrupy and generic. Now that I'm revisiting it, I love it. No it's not ground breaking, but I can really appreciate it in the cooler weather. The dry down on my skin is similar to Donna Born in Roma but I like this so much more! The deep plum and the sweetness of this fragrance is everything!

imacat88

my package was outside for a few hours, when i unwrap my perfume it was a bit hot, the bottle was a bit hot, i tried it right away but ill need to try it again in a few days.
my first impression was a strange feeling of familiarity, and i quickly got why, i have Zara Gardenia wich is similar BUT not as well blended and not as creamy , i also think this is a little similar to the Black Opium, Wich the 3 really Share the Orange blossom, coffee and vanilla.

im still testing, feels a bit heavy on the sweet for my taste still, i like it, but im not sure ill be reaching for this one often.

Edit: oh its so much better today, the heat must have messed it a bit yeasterday, im so glad i blind bought this one.

chicagogirl

I just realized what this smells sooo similar to!! I've had a small travel spray for about a year and it always bugged me trying to figure out what perfume it smelled like. Well it's Wonderstruck Enchanted!! The Taylor Swift perfume in the red bottle. I still have my bottle from like 2014 when I got it on sale at Marshalls. Totally a dupe. Heavy fruity vanilla perfect for fall. I get no coffee or nuts or really anything else.

spellbook.soaps

I felt like layering this scent with My Burberry Black would make pretty serious Hogwarts vibes so I tried it. I feel like it’s incense in Professor Trelawney’s classroom mixed with that cake Aunt Petunia makes for Mr. Dursley’s boss. K, thanks :)

Cassiano

Officially declared by the company, Jimmy Choo Fever has:
- top notes of black plum nectar, lychee, and grapefruit;
- heart notes of jasmine, heliotrope, and vanilla-orchid;
- a base with notes of toasted tonka bean, sandalwood, and benzoin.

On the skin, the fragrance already opens with a lot of floral content, as if jasmine were at the top, but surrounded by ripe fruits. If Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum brought the pear nectar with great evidence, here it is the plum nectar that dominates and brings a creamy and sensual sweetness, which is only not bothersome because of the fruits with a watery effect. When applied more generously, the presence of grapefruit is even easier to notice at first.

Jimmy Choo Fever was labeled as generic upon its release. Well, we're talking about a fragrance that features two perfumers who, obviously, insert a little of their creative DNA into everything they do. In addition, similar accords are also present in other female creations. Therefore, we will find similarities with fragrances like Poison (Dior), Lou Lou (Cacharel), and even Senso (Emanuel Ungaro).

In any case, Jimmy Choo Fever is not a fragrance with much evolution, and, on my skin, its floral content lasts for a long time and acquires slightly sweet tones, in addition to a sensuality effect that is more familiar to me in compositions with ambery-musk accords.

Even though it is floral-oriental, I really like the way the construction of the fragrance made it versatile. Jimmy Choo Fever isn't heavy for the day, it's not uncomfortable in the heat, it's not exclusive for the night, it doesn't leave an exaggerated trail, but captivating, and it suits many types of women in the most diverse environments, but always leaving an air of seduction. It even works as a signature for those women who don't surrender to the fresh or musky ones that give an air of "taken shower".

Finally, I found the performance to be good, but it deserved a little more durability (about six hours on me). The bottle is beautiful, and the fragrance is the type that appeals to men, in case compliments are an important factor for you at the time of purchase.

Kari L

Pretty nice the plum, tonka, sandlewood, vanilla and florals stand out to me. Floral 60% Other 40%. Smells like Banana Republic Tobacco Tonka without the tobacco. I could see this as a newer Britney flanker, too, that vibe.

profesorahb

This dries down to Christmas spices on me. I'm getting something like clove or mace/nutmeg.

pinkfairygumdrop

I have so many perfumes I forget how good this one is sometimes. It's a nice dark plum with vanilla & hints of coffee. it's a lovely gourmand, definitely one of the favorites in my collection. you can normally find the 3.3 for a good deal on ebay. This one is 100x better than the original. it definitely, IMO, smells more expensive than what I paid for it. really sexy fragrance

nutritionfact

First impression: smells like ant or hornet spray. That’s enough for me.

Andy224

Powdery litchi. Unique nighttime scent with good longevity.

prerana20

This is by far the best perfume I have ever tried on. From the opening to the dry down, it has everything that you would want to smell like on a date night.

It smells delicious, just like the notes. The plum, the tonka, the jasmine, the coffee! All the notes are so beautifully done. I can't get enough of it, and neither can my boyfriend ;)

Candypopinlove

From the moment I smelled a sample of it at the mall, I knew it would go number 1 in my house. Literally my signature and my fave! It's nice and plummy, with a hint of spicy vanilla. It's not too overwhelming, but exudes just enough for you to turn heads. I would say this is a winter scent, it's warm and sweet - but honestly I would wear it anytime.

Toady89

This was a spur of the moment blind buy after I saw it in my local bargain store and was intrigued by it. I was expecting a very heady gourmand, super sweet vanilla scent but I was very pleasantly surprised by how light it was. It's still a gourmand scent but with a lightness to it. I love the coffee/nutty notes. Definitely has a coffee shop date vibe to it. Sophisticated but also wearable enough for daily use. I really like it.

Thranduil

A syrupy and heavy plum with a vanilla base.

Pleasant. Pretty. Polished.

XOXO_marcel

A rich dark nutty scent with a hint of something like caramel. I actually picked up on the base notes first and only got the plum and florals on the drydown. It's pretty, but not for my personal taste...too heavy, too sweet, and not exciting enough to make up for the lack of balance. The bottle is lovely and it would make for a nice gift. Definitely for colder weather; this would be headache-inducing in the heat.
It's nice enough, just not my style.

nickinicole

Warm, smooth, and syrupy sweet. Not my style, but it is a pleasant scent.

Vivus.Laszlo

Burgundy Jayde

🍬🍭 WOW. 🍨 The comment below about baked pie fruit drippings hits the nail on the head . Delicious scent I am floored. I am an introvert and am tired of blindbuying perfume so I worked up the strength Last weekend and I went to the mall and I tried about 50 top notch , designer house expensive fragrances and they all smelled dull except this one and a few others. The mall sold this for double the price on Ebay so I bought it from ebay. It arrived yesterday. This scent is everything that I have been looking for. It is very seductive warm and very thick and plum jammy but not cloying.... for a mature woman. I absolutely love it. The amber warmth is surreal. A cold weather scent. There's a little bit of powderiness to it that rounds it off so it's not suffocating. I have come to learn that I love any fragrance that has warm balmy benzoin in it or the fruit "lychee" in it. It's a mysterious smelling fruit. It's sweet but there's something about it that makes it absolutely gorgeous. This perfume has me wanting to go out and taste a lychee. 💥Jimmy Choo got this fragrance right. It lasts on my skin all night until I take a shower. I really pray that this wonderful fragrance is never discontinued. 🖤💜🖤

Yessamin

I had a small tester of this fragrance. It smells nice but too generic. The vibe I get from this is strongly perfumed baby wipes. Nothing wrong with it but I can’t get past that.

Edlynn

Omg this!!! With a plum body scrub, a plum body gel, and a plum vanilla lotion!!!! Omg !!!!! Yum!!!! 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 dark.. deep.. sexy 😩

Autumn_Moon

I enjoy this one to the point where I have no problems wearing my sample on a whim, but I don't quite picture myself falling in love it. (Then again, stranger things have happened, so... with time... who knows? Maybe I'll change my mind.)

I've come to the conclusion that's it's really the drydown phase of Fever that I appreciate; anything before that smells too "mall-perfumey" to me (if that's even a term). Up front, I get a blast of floral fruitiness (which is a bit nondescript, and perhaps trying too hard to be like everything else out there in the modern market -- it might do better if it strayed from the norm in this regard).

After an hour, though... I can smell a juicy, delectable plum note, with a hint of floral elements and a touch of vanilla in the background. It makes me think of a plum compote, thick and jammy, and it feels like the perfume "settles" at this point... it becomes what it was *intended* to be, and not what others were trying to *force* it to be. In these moments, I really appreciate it and feel at home with it. I wish it would be like this throughout the duration of wear!

Longevity is on the short side of the 3-6 hour range... after about 4 hours, it fades to a soft skin scent on me, and re-application is required (which, of course, starts the opening/mid-phase/drydown cycle all over again). It's interesting... I'm comfortable wearing it... but it doesn't trigger any vivid imagery or wild, imaginative perceptions when I smell it. it's something I'll enjoy in sample form (unless I find a really good deal on a bottle).

Moonwalk Memorie

Opens with a predictable shout of "hi, I'm perfume!" then quickly settles into a thick, dark, gourmand. Honestly, I hoped this would smell special, but it just doesn't at all. At least on me.

limonika

1:1 with bonbon couture

velvetcherry

I bought a very small sampler bottle of this scent for a whopping $18. For me, this perfume feels very predictable. Initially, when first applied and in the bottle I picked up a lot of wild cherry but upon dry-down the vanilla becomes more prominent, creamy and warm. This scent will work for a lot of people who like seductive and sweet scents.
The memory this brings to my mind is some ones cool grown-lady auntie that is always super fashionable, late and, ready to go to the club.
The detectable notes to me were as follows:
TOP- Plum
MIDDLE- Vanilla orchid
BASE- Sandal wood.
Will be a hit for some but for me it leaned a little too sweet which made it smell more cheap.
Overall: 6.5/10

Lailove

Such a deep, stunning fragrance! So passionate and warm. I absolutely love this! I can't get enough of it. It stirs up feelings of long hot summer days, love and mystery. Just wonderful 🥰

laperfumamor

Floral notes aren’t my favorite, but the fruity-vanilla powered dry down is decadent enough for me to overlook the heliotrope and jasmine. I personally think the florals make this scent lean more mature, but the sweet notes tone it to a comfortable medium. This isn’t a safe blind buy.

Occasion: Cool weather
Sillage: Moderate
Longevity: 6 hours

aldinatic

I love the haselnut and heliotrope in this perfume, so nice and girly

amgenus2015

There is something fruity here, like a dark plum but it’s very ripe. The perfume is sweet, warm, and leans toward mature. It reminds me of a fragrance my mom would wear. I think the scent is too rich and jammy for me - I wish it was a more airy.

catriiona

I'm not usually a lover of fruity scents but I cannot get enough of the depth and richness of this fragrance. Dense, jammy plum and vanilla. Sadly it doesn't seem to perform very well. Definitely an evening scent for colder weather, would wear this on a date, or just to enjoy to myself on a cosy night in.

SELFCARE_INTROVERT

Sweet; Dark and Beautiful! I have been wanting this Fragrance for a while found it for $25 so I got it. It’s a very sweet & warm Fragrance. I get the Plum; Lychee; Coffee and Vanilla and I love it. It’s like Dr. Pepper to my nose and I really like it! Great for Colder Weather and Nighttime. I def Recommend!

roxxyg

I was unsure if I needed another sweet scent but bought a smaller bottle on a whim. I am glad I did, on first impression it is a lovely combination of lychee and plum. The scent has quite good longevity and is suitable for night and day in my opinon but will wait till the cooler weather to wear it more.

Can'tstopFragranceAddict

If two words word could describe this perfume it’s…RICH and DECEDENT!
All you get is plum, tonka and a ton of vanilla! It’s a true Autumn/Wintertime fragrance. So sexy and sweet! ❤️

FRAGLORD3000

Wow they really got the name right because this is the warmest fragrance I've ever smelled, I'm intrigued, reminds me alot of Hypnotic Poison, I will wear it and come back to elaborate but so far hot and delicious, I'm not mad

Gyps

The only smell I got was when I first spray it, then nothing pretty much immediately. Waste of money. Not impressed.

Edit: Came back to it. Sprayed heaps on me. It smells nice but you have to overspray. That’s a bummer as the actual fragrance is nice. I can’t really smell plum but a mild fruitiness, floral, vanilla, coffee and powderiness. Black Opium vibe but not as strong.

ash45365

Smells pretty good. I really only smell a sweet floral, not much berry but more like vanilla floral. But it’s very floral on me. It’s not bad, sits pretty close to the skin on me and it’s not super noticeable unless someone is standing close. Lasts a decent amount of time. I bought this on sale and don’t regret the purchase.

jbaby283

Blind bought this on sale. It smells good, just nothing special. It starts off really strong, to the point it can make you sneeze. After 10 minutes, it fades into this sweet, generic, fruity, floral, a bit powdery and spicy scent. This is the best state of this perfume, I quite enjoy it. It lasts around 1-2 hours in hot climate, then quickly fades into this really mild woody scent that is quite difficult to notice, unless standing really close. The thing I love most about it is how smooth and warm it smells, almost like drinking a cup of warm creamy vanilla cinnamon drink next to a fireplace in a cold winter, or a warm hug. Nothing sharp about the scent, it smells... round, until the last few notes. The base notes are somewhat sharp, despite smelling woody and musky, I don't like that very much but it's okay. Overall, okay perfume. 6.5/10

Pros:
- Smell good, sweet, crowd-pleasing kind
- Good price, defo should buy only when on sale
- Pretty good sillage in the first 1-2 hours
- Feels very warm and smooth, which I enjoy. It makes me feel good and loved.

Cons:
- Longevity is not great at all
- Smell very generic (and kinda cheap, but i think the guys will like it on girls), like people defo won't be 'Oh, you're wearing fever right?' but just 'You smell great'. It's good, just isn't special in the slightest.
- Have mild headache every time I use it, i guess cuz it's summer. Will wait till winter time to wear it.
- The scent is very warm so when used in summer, it will feel a bit overheated and suffocating.

Coffeeandscents

Beautiful sweet vanilla, coffee and plum. This is what I wanted black opium to smell like, because it has less white florals, and it’s more fruity with the plum. I love it.

supergirl9412

Nostalgic! My mom is a master pie baker .. the flakiest homemade crust, the freshest fruit fillings. And, as long as I can remember, she’s made the pies for Thanksgiving dinner .. usually a pumpkin, an apple, and a blueberry-apple. I have the fondest memories of waking up on Thanksgiving morning to the smell of those sweet, juicy fruit fillings burning on the bottom of the hot oven, emitting the most delicious burnt sugar/charred marshmallow/roasted fruit scent. (If you’ve baked a fruit pie before, homemade or premade/frozen, you know that keeping the filling INSIDE of the crust is difficult, and there will be bubblage!) JC Fever reminds me of that .. After the citrusy top, the remainder of the wear is a burnt, fruity syrup with creamy floral undertones.

That’s why this fragrance is my Thanksgiving fragrance, and that’s why Fever will always have a special place in my heart.

canabena

This smells like baby powder the powder note should be at the top because I get nothing other than powder. Wondering if I got a bad batch, I thought I could like it after the dry down but upon my fourth time using it and using it how I normally wear perfume a spritz on my clothe and a spritzs on my wrists, I really dont like this. It gave me a headache. Im trying so hard to love this perfume and based on the notes I should but the powder is too much, I cant smell any of the other notes and its drying down powdery. Im going to have to pass this on to my mother in law perhaps she may like it but I wouldnt reccomend this scent for a younger person in their 20's. I prefer sweeter floral scents.
This is also NOT a Black Opium dupe, they smell nothing alike what so ever please avoid if thats what you were looking for.

erika.isme.98

In Nordstrom, this fragrance smelled EXACTLY like Dr Pepper to me. It's good!

Bee-young-ka

Not for me because I'm old and grumpy and I want Jimmy Choo to re-release Star.
..And fever's not being enough like the Original Jimmy Choo in my Opinion.

now that that’s off my chest we can talk about how lovely this perfume is.
The vanilla really is the star here, all the gourmand notes are really well blended
the sillage is good. you will get noticed wearing this, a sweet trail of vannilla and rounded out resins.

I have a young friend (read under 30) who likes to borrow my Cashmere Code, she began wearing this.

a similar "feel" to Code Cashmere and very affordable

I never really liked Code Cashmere, Not for me

brittanyandco

I like the scent. I'd say it's a cross between Nishane Hundred Silent Ways and Viktor&Rolf Bon Bon. I would say it's a not-as-sweet, not-as-headache-inducing, lighter version of Black Opium, but I don't smell the coffee in this at all even though I see it listed as a note. It's a like rather than a love because I cannot get it to last on me. Maybe two hours later and I smell nothing. Sucks because every other Jimmy Choo fragrance I have has great longevity.

Angelamb

Can't believe I put this off for so long! Perfect for Fall, smells like leaves falling around a bon fire, toasting marshmallows, thick drizzled caramel over nougat with nutty almonds, and warmed up by ripe plums for some brightness. Dry down on me is like the warmest vanilla and a hint of a cup of mulled wine. Underrated, and just cozy.

Pumpkin patch, hay rides, Christmas shopping... cool days, chill nights.

buffybases

Loved it in the store. Then it smelt like straight alcohol when fresh out of the bottle. A week later my brother asked me "have you been out drinking" - it's literally that boozy before it dries down.

Anyway after the dry down...

- A dark plum fruity boozy delight. Not much vanilla if any which is fine. 100% for a night out.
- Sillage is out of this world. I actually get self conscious wearing it on the tube/train/office.
- Overall pleasant but does smell cheap. I hate to admit it but it's true. I've been complimented at work once it's dried down.

SOME TIPS...
- You must have patience and spray away from yourself so you don't get pure alcohol
-Spray 1/2 an hour before you leave the house LOL

Overall, I really believe some scents need to breathe and marinate after you buy them. I won't repurchase, but will enjoy over the next year for a night out. I have a feeling over time it will smell just like how it did in the store when I fell in love with it. That bottle was nearly done and probably around 5 months old. This isn't a "popular" fragrance and i can tell not a lot of people buy it.

vistango

it reminds me Christmas season days. don't you think this is similar to Dior Poison?

Yoliyol

I really wish I could smell what everyone else is but I don’t like this on me. On my skin this smells like a sour citrus and became very unpleasant after a while. I’m sad as I really wanted to love this.

Azisai-

Genuinely, I cannot stop sniffing my arm.

I sprayed this on just to try some stuff out, it's been a while since I've gotten a new frag and I've been kinda feeling down lately so I thought I would cheer myself up with tester strip therapy. But I didn't think I'd actually find something I'd like and want to have!

First off, the opening (on me) is a little bit bitter or medicinal, for lack of better words, but that fades away quickly and it becomes the juiciest vanilla eveerrrr! So edible and alluring! I only sprayed it once on my wrist and it took quite a while to fade away too, so performance is a-ok.

It's super addicting. Once you get a whiff it's really not enough, you keep sniffing it again to get more. Maybe it's the creamy/juicy/smokey combo of plums and tonka bean, but it's unique and delicious; totally mouthwatering. Probably perfect for a date during a cool October night, or for curling up inside on a snow day. Perfectly cuddly but also sexy. Right amount of boozey-fruit.

Adjr1087

I can't believe I have been ignoring this perfume for the past few years. I recently got a mini size bottle I bought online and dabbed it on paper the first time I got it, and it smelled so bad on paper I thought the fragrance was spoiled. I put it away. And for some reason this week, decided to grab it again and try it on skin and OMG, this is a GOURMAND DREAM. At first I thought this smelled exactly like Black Opium. I am a BO lover, so I wasn't mad about that. But then I started feeling like a fruity sweetness, like a Raspberry note, which is not mentioned here, but could be the Litchi or plum? This to me smells like 40% Black Opium-60% Ralph Lauren Beyond Romance. This is sweet and changes throughout the day. It gets fresh, and then creamy, and then even lactonic I could say, but it always stays caramely in all its phases. It has an AMAZING projection and Longevity, this lasts hours, and if sprayed on clothes even more. I fell in love so hard that I already ordered a Full size bottle of this.

Texasperumefan

I know my username has perfume misspelled, I cannot change it. :(

Reviews: Smells so similar to Forever Red by Bath and Body Works. Smells like straight up candy. Very long lasting. I sprayed this on a small decorative pillow in a room of my house, and I could smell it from my living room which is about 15 feet away from that room. Smelled very strongly on that pillow for about 6-12 hours. Died down on my skin to a pretty sweet scent, kind of like Britney Spears Fantasy. This happened about 2 hours after spraying it on my skin. I feel this would be nice to spray on a chunky cardigan, its that kind of scent. I like it, but it kind of makes my head hurt. It is almost TOO sweet. And I like stuff like Pink Sugar. I have Jimmy Choo EDP, this smells nothing like that. The other one is a lot more floral, not as sweet, more peachy, and more patchouli strong. This has no patchouli/peach smell. This is candy in a bottle. IF you like smelling like candy, you will like this. Does not smell like mature AT ALL. However, I do not see a teen liking something like this, someone in their 20's or 30's or older might like this. This is candy perfume for a grown/ classy lady. It smells expensive.

boredzoi

Full disclosure, I'm not a fan of fruity & "juicy" vanillas so that bias was already something to fight against. I was, however, surprised by how much I kept wishing for a similar, but lighter scent. It's definitely what I would call a sweet, cozy perfume, but the sillage was waaaay too much imho. It was a bit like suffocating under a purple comforter.

I'd definitely pick this up for myself if it was half as strong. It's has convinced me that juicy vanillas might be something worth exploring, so that's a point in its favor.

SmellyCat85

I never understood what more experienced perfume wearers meant by “cozy” and “best worn in winter” until I was gifted this beautiful fragrance.
It’s absolutely suited for Autumn and winter months due to the heaviness of the scent. Tried wearing it in the summer and it was very sickly.
Beautiful sweet scent and it’s become like a “comfort” scent for me if that makes any sense. I like to wear it when I need to feel a bit better about myself especially at night or on nights out. Strong, creamy and sweet and the bottle is very cute too.

MimesOtto

Sweet fruity feminine warm perfume, it is well suited for colder months, it has a boozy vibe too, it lasts 3-5 hours on me, I really like it!

CatOwned

Wow I am absolutely in love with this smell. It is very sweet, fruity, and warm on me. There is nothing sour about this one on me. Goes to really show how much our individual body chemistries differ- wow.

Andrews22

Jimmy Choo Fever is a warm sweet spicy scent
It’s more ideal for mature ladies but unfortunately this fragrance was not my cup of tea I hate it but might smell better on other people

aqua76239

I got this on spur of the moment. Its sweet floral oriental with hints of plum and coffee. Coffee becomes more prominent on the drydown and it features jasmine and tonka bean, two of my favorite things so of couse i like it. Unlike many I don't think its smells like YSL Black Opium or Bon Bon. What it DOES smell like, I mean almost a literal clone is The Only One by D & G which I have a travel size of. Its a nice scent, I feel like its more of night, date sort of fragrance. I like most Jimmy Choo scents as well as his design aesthetics so for me its a win. I think it would be great scent for the winter but i would wear it in other seasons as well.

AuraAngelMuse

This is a like, but I'm not sure if it will turn into a dislike or a love. It has aspects that I enjoy and aspects that smell kinda gross. When I first put it on, the sourness from grapefruit and litchi really come through, but I still smell plum. This gives the effect of actually smelling just like prune juice. It's not sweet enough to fight off that slightly sour prune smell. This leads the fragrance to smell a bit weird, it reminds me of wearing perfume and then getting sweaty out in the heat for hours to the point that you smell a little sour.

It gets better as it dries down, the sourness gets toned down a bit. It starts to feel a little deeper and richer, maybe a tad bit sweeter and sort of brown sugary mixed with plum and cinnamon. Smells strong enough that I catch whiffs of it wafting around and lasts for most of the day for me. This might be better for colder weather because I like smelling suuuuuper sweet in summer time(and also like 99% of the time tbh). Like I said, sour notes remind me of stale sweat so it's just not something I vibe with in summer time. It has the potential to smell very nice in winter though.

Edit: I kept thinking that I've smelled this before, and it smells like something I didn't like very much. I realized it smells like Cacharel Yes I Am Fabulous which also smelled too sour for me and a bit nauseating. I ended up getting rid of that one so I doubt I'll come to love this one.

Edit 2: Figured out that I have to use a light hand with this. Too much on the skin is what makes it smell sour. The sweet and sour aspects are much more balanced when I use less.

Taliaferro1201

I don't know if my little 4.5ml size of this has gone bad, but all I get is straight baby diaper, diaper wipes, baby powder smell from this.. I'll have to get another sample to make sure because everyone raves about this frag and the notes are soooo good..

Lillianroseanne

If you don't like fruity or boozy scents you won't like this, because it literally smells like a beautifully blended fruit cocktail or drink and it's smoothed out and musky with the vanilla and coffee. Let me tell you she's a power house won't go away till clothes are washed I love this

nateya

This is such a underrated fragrance. This is a sexy, date night type of scent. You’re hit with a burst of plum and vanilla orchid. As it starts to settle in, the heliotrope creeps through making it slightly powdery. As it dries down, the hazelnut, benzoin, and plum are shining here. The hazelnut in this smells like nutty pralines. This isn’t a gourmand fragrance in my opinion but it smells delicious. The type of fragrance that will make you ask “ouuuu what are you wearing”. I’m the kind of person who wears every perfume I own any time of the year BUT this one absolutely turns into a projecting and sillage bomb on cold days. If you like the notes, this is 100% a safe blind buy!

LSAUG

Fever is giving me Black Opium vibes but it is slightly spicier in the middle of the fragrance and a bit fruiter on top. It doesn't last long and smells like a chemical mess. Very weak performance and very cheap smelling. The coffee note is also stale, like stale coffee beans. Just downgraded this to a hate. Bad.

SimonsTux

Cherry cinnamon dry down. I think it's the sandalwood that gives it that spice. This is not blind buy safe, glad I only got a 60ml. ILLICIT is so much better -- if you have to choose, go with that one.

b.a.denney

I wanted this for quite a while, but after I got a bottle I find I don't reach for it that often. I hate coffee notes in perfumes, and I'd have never guessed this had a coffee note, thank goodness! It is a nice scent, just not as special as I was thinking it was. The bottle is really pretty, however.

Catnipple

This is a gorgeous fragrance, if the only one and black opium had a child this perfume is it! lasts longer than the two as well 😍

clairesque

Impression from a paper strip: Sickeningly sweet and very synthetic. The plum note is very syrupy and cloying and it's hard to pick up any other notes.

pweedyadel

Can someone help me out with which note that smells like a creamy coconut? That is what I get when I smell this in the opening.

Juliennne

Fever is way better than Jimmy Choo OG.

joliecat

On my skin, Fever is a sweet vanilla scent with a soft powdery almond flavor. Lightweight, gentle, smooth and soothing, Fever is great to use at bedtime. It lasts about 3 hours, fading into a very close to skin scent. The grapefruit and litchi notes give it a light airy feeling while deep dark plum and toasted tonka bean add a full bodied rich touch. Deliciously feminine, not too sweet, Fever is not offensive. Wearable in all seasons, day or night. Though I have to respray often during the day or evening, I love this perfume ! It's addictive and beautiful.

dovey

Not bad but not BREATH TAKING either
It has no personality

Just stolen notes from black opium, poison girl, & armani Si intense

& agree with other reviews, there is an element of cinnamon in it some where

Nothing unique

Katie <3

I don't think this smells like Black Opium, closer to Sofia Vergara Love but still unique. I smell plum, hazelnut and vanilla. I prefer this of the three scents and will be a nice scent this Autumn and Winter. It is not overly sweet or strong. Very nice scent. I am pleasantly surprised.

Atilola

I bought this perfume after watching reviews on YouTube. The way they described this perfume I expected sex in a bottle . However upon first impression it smellls like cinnamon , which is not sexy to me . It reminds me off autumn and is reminiscent of chai latte . If that’s what your into go for it . But for the price it’s not worth the money for me

Leahdiana

So, first off, please DO NOT let the review that says it smells like sausages sway you, because it 100% does not. This fragrance simply didn't work with their body chemistry. This is gorgeous, easy-to-love fruity, vanilla, sweet fragrance. I truly think it's worth trying on your skin before committing to a full bottle, but it really is gorgeous and I get a lot of compliments wearing this!

cacemonster

The initial opening was right up my alley. I detected cherry, although it is not listed. Maybe the plum smelling like cherry, or cherry is in and not listed, or my nose playing tricks on me :) too bad it last such a short while. On me this dry down is extremely soapy and unpleasant. It surprised me how much this actually changed. It dissapeared quite fast too, and I dont consider it powerful. If it was more powerful i would say it would been cloying but the lack of sillage make it bearable. The opening made me feel this is a night time perfume, however as it dried down, it was so soapy and weak i would think its more daytime appropriate. I see there are very different opinion on the smell of this so chemistry is key. Dont blind buy, and let it drydown and see how it plays off on you.

ShoGirl

Sweet and rich sexy vanilla, hazelnut, coffee, florals with a touch of darkness in a blend that's pretty for cool weather, I find this pretty at this time of year but not unique; like a lot of other things out there.

WhoKilledCockRobin?

I am really dissapointed. Nico1e2ee is completely right, it depends on skin chemistry and it is not good idea for blind buy. In the opening it is similar like Jimmy Choo Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum, realy great. Drydown on my skin smels like sausages... awful... who want to smell like sausages ? Dog owner? Really strange.

Mdmartinez4

I loved this instantly! It’s so seductive and a little dark. I agree with some people that it doesn’t last long, but I find it helps to layer it! This is the perfect sexy date night perfume.

celestial_scents

Hated this, I bought it after 1 spray because I thought it smelled amazing in store but when I actually brought it home and tested it some more it was awful. It smells 'funky' and doesn't last, its sorta medicinal too. I thought the notes were amazing tho. I don't think it was my body chemistry either because I sprayed it on paper and it was the same thing.

Perlaila

Honestly this one is sooo much better than Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo. This has more of a sweet smell to it and it’s pretty long lasting. The other one (Jimmy Choo) smells more like straight up alcohol and I say this because I tested it out in Macy’s and it was a straight no for me. If you like sweet senses this one won’t disappoint you ☺️.

Rhiannandb

I get a sweet plum and Jasmine with some sandalwood muskyness to it . It's simple and smells nice but definitely far from the notes listed . Not a safe blind buy

brietexas

RED FRUIT. I don't get coffee or hazelnut or vanilla. Sweet, yes, but mainly fruity. Smells like a first "real" perfume for someone young.

Not_a_perfume_junkie

Deep, sweet coffee treat . Smells delicious ! Happy blind buy !

In the smells like section it's going Black Opium and Prada Candy. No. They've got the vibe but they distinctly different. If you like them, I feel you'd enjoy this one t9.

dspire

I am not a professional reviewer of perfume but I love this scent. My husband always tells me I smell good when I wear this perfume.

DameJamie

I'm very particular about smelling feminine, warm, and having a guy walk past and notice "wow, she smells good". This has all those factors.
My husband absolutely knows when I have it on!
It's not a grandma powdery or floral smell. It's more of a warm sweet smell, like the topping of crunchy topping of a vanilla bean creme brulee. It's not overpowering but you also don't need more than one spritz.

Moderately priced for not needing to reapply or use more than one spray. I'm very happy with this purchase.

LightOfJoy

Jimmy Choo's website doesn't list coffee or hazelnut:
TOP NOTES

Black Plum Nectar, Lychee And Grapefruit

HEART NOTES

Heliotrope, Vanilla Orchid And Jasmine

BASE NOTES

Roasted Tonka Bean, Benzoin And Sandalwood

RoseWearsPerfume

I regret buying this perfume. It just smells like nothing special to me. I kind of get a sweet fruit loops kind of smell from it. I have gotten compliments on it though. A few ladies at work liked it and a guy friend said I smelled really good. But for me as the wearer it doesn't do much for me. Its just kind of there in the background and doesn't make me feel any sort of way. At the moment I am trying to quickly finish up the bottle, so I can justify buying something else.

JJscents

I love this one , warm sweet comforting , perfect for autumn/winter only complaint is the longevity isn’t great on me .

Tomadeupjazz

IDK you guys!! This might soon make it to my favorites line up. Ok so to describe this. IMO I think this is UBER sexual. This is a come hither fragrance. Worn on someone who likes sex, is very comfortable with their sexuality, body and inner self. This exudes strength, mystery, depth, and sex appeal. MY TYPE OF SCENT!! I could wear this day or night honestly but for MOST I would reserve this to a night time only scent, a bar hopping with friends, club going, or date night out type scent. It starts off with that really fruity but deeply satisfying plum and a bit of effervescent sparkle. So it's like you're seeing a sexy person, but they're being a tease and leaving some things to mystery. That's the top, mid is definitely a perfumey aspect from the florals for sure. To me it helps the fragrance project and radiate and adds a feminine delicate touch while still being strong. This is when you're seeing all this person's femininity and intimacy. Bottom is where the smooth wrap up of sex comes in. It's the sweet creamy mix of hazelnut, benzoin, tonka, vanilla, all the mouth watering aspects pushing forward in the dry down to give you exactly what you want. Everything about this fragrance was well thought out, balanced, and its again very smooth. I adore this and every time I've worn it I've felt SEXY!! Must have IMO for anyone who wants to feel like what I just mentioned above. You're welcome.

sparklyunicorn

I personally love this fragrance. I bought is after I sampled it in store and instantly fell in love with its richness. I feel like this is the perfect 'hot girl' going out scent. It is sweet but warm and spicy, it is simply gorgeous for fall and winter nights out. Hoping that I can wear this one out soon with a special outfit. Although it may be a bit 'basic' I think it is lovely and was something I was missing in my collection.

Lexiilou91

I wanted to like this but the dry down is too woodsy for my liking, I don’t want to smell like I just got back from being around a camp fire. I like the original better.

mevans

I like this one better than the original. The vanilla and plum are so delicious and then add a little coffee to that. It's sort of like YSL Black Opium in that sweet coffee sort of way but still elegant. Where the original had a clean type sweet, this one just goes for broke and is full on rich and thick sweet. Longevity is decent, sillage is moderate. No, nothing ground breaking but it's a great combination of notes that is really inviting and an easy reach for any time, occasion or place.

Cozysweets

Wow, reading some really negative reviews here. I guess reviews are all individual anyway.... I actually love this one. One of my top 10. I don't find it too potent or overbearing. Not too sweet but sweet enough. Not a LVEB sweet or in your face. The fruitiness (tart) rounds out the sweet. It's not juvenile. I'd wear this as a casual scent but one spray is enough (I'm never the oversprayer)

vickkfleur

I really liked this when I sampled at Macys so I went ahead and bought a 3.4 oz bottle. Big mistake. It is way too cloying I felt so sick after wearing 2-3 spritz. Absolutely disgusting to me. It's just too much for me.

TheLB

I definitely smell the coffee note in this one, but it lasted all of two minutes. Literally, it was like I didn’t even spray any perfume on. Not worth paying full price for. The longevity is worse than a body spray you would find at Target. Disappointed.

afletch

This just aint it. I read such good reviews about this and was so disappointed when I bought it. The scent barely lasted 10 minutes and smelt so cheap and cliche. Not that different to the other Jimmy Choo perfume i tried, illicit, it just let me down immensely. I couldn't even smell it on my clothes despite spraying a generous amount. It smelt chemically and cheap.

seagreentangerine

I am always on the hunt for the ultimate "Party Disco Queen" perfume... One that is trashy yet classy, permeates the air within a 3 metre radius and comes as near to Gucci Rush (original) and Poison (original 80s strength) as possible. This two Perfumes are perfection, today, they are weaker, pale imitations...

Fever smells like the memory of Dior's original Poison, I am suprised no-one has made the connection, trust me, after an hour, you can smell Poison, its quite delightful, but remember, this is not full strength stuff.

There is, bizzarely, violets in here, there really is, it's not listed, but it's there and that's the powder - along with the narcotic Tonka Bean, this juice shouldn't be passed up, at least smell it, it's like a memory of fragrances of yore, all in one hit... It's quite a mind puzzler and for that, it's definitely worth a go.

Colleagues told me they could smell this in the corridor, and they love it, running up to the bottle and photographing it, so that gives you some idea of the projection and likes. It lasts at least 4 hours at full strength, then it's a quieter time for another 3 hours, but it's still there.

Is she the slutty disco Queen I want to be? Unfortunately not, but she's a lovely strong inoffensive perfume that's interesting and pretty intriguing enough to get people smelling you, or the air around you!

aldinatic

It's not clearly a plum scent. Vanilla and the other notes also dominate. It does not last long on the skin too.

karinevandal

This = Prada Candy & Love by Sophia Vergara

PC after it dries/on the skin. LbySV in the opening/on clothes.

I knew I'd love this perfume since I really enjoy those notes/accords.
But now, I have a lot of similar scents.

Very cozy, powdery. Not offensive. Good for office or a cozy Sunday night.
Not bold & loud. Becomes skin scent quickly.

lulu169

Exactly same on my skin - just the sour grapefruit
Weird combination of grapefruit and sweet stuff

Hannehoney

This on my skin is quite strong and the grapefruit is sour and sharp. This was a blindbuy, the notes that are listed sounded like something I would love, but this didnt work out on my skin...the only thing I smell is the grapefruit.

victoriabarretta

I was so sure I’d love this because the original Jimmy Choo is in my top 5 for life.

There is a note in this that I can’t get past, or maybe a combination of notes. There is a slight powderyness to this that I was excited to try out but it is combined with a dry slightly sour (maybe plum?) note that has me feeling like I’m in a stinky cloud of sharp fruit notes for the first hour.

However once it settles it’s a sweet yet mysterious scent that I wish started earlier on.

Surprisingly good performance, I’ll try again in winter.

I love The Only One, which this is sometimes compared to.

Cat R

If YSL Black Opium and V&R Bonbon had a baby this is what you would get. Its very sweet, its a little powdery, and its not totally over the top in your face bomb. Its strong without being overly strong. Its also not mindblowing either but a good date night or going out fragrance. This is not sofisticated nor is it too young. I feel like its a fragrance to have some fun or attract some fun in your life. I wouldnt say this is the type to attract classy men but you will deff get compliments on how good you smell. The longevity on clothes is really good on skin it will depend on you DNA I get about 6 hrs which is bad for me. I do prefer this one over the orginal Jummy Choo. I used to get samples in the mail when this was first released and always wanted it. I got a full 100ml bottle for my birthday. It will probably be used half way through Winter. I really do like it alot. Its an 8/10 for me. Its the Tonka Bean for me, I am starting to realize Tonka is my top favorite note in perfumes.

JasonsGirl

I love it. That's all.

Joshhiggins32

This is a beautiful fragrance if you love sweet fruity scents. Nothing about this is offensive. The blend and performance on this perfume is one of the best in this category. It will fill a room and is very strong, so be prepared to spray less if you don’t like those types of perfumes, but this is very well done! The only fragrance I like in the lineup truly.

sophiejolley

This perfume is basic, but very pretty. It's a warm vanilla fragrance with an exceptional longevity. Great for fall and winter.

MaxieF

I'm surprised that I don't really see people talk about this a lot. This is sweet, gourmand, comforting, projects really well, long lasting, super feminine and overall really lovely and pretty. It's in the same family as Fancy or Gold couture. Heavy amber and very very sweet. I don't personally think it's THAT similar to bon bon. This is louder and more mature. I love bon bon but it doesn't last. Fever is perfect for fall and winter. Too heavy/thick/syrupy for summer days but maybe you could pull it off at night.

Amylya

It´s nice and sweet, but it lasts only 10 minutes. Wasted money.

Leolia

I get no fever from this.
It smells weird, lika a cheap shower gel.

iverson_lyon

I’m not an expert in notes, but I think I smell dirty plum in here. Somehow it always mixes with my body chemistry: sometimes I like the result, sometimes not. It’s definitely a night out fragrance, can’t say it’s sexy, it’s something else, attituded-bimbo maybe? Overall, great perfume, but I can’t say I’m addicted unfortunately.

Zombie Apocalypse

This scent is very plummy and deep. Theres deep and then there's this!!😂 It is sooo deep.. and dense. It also reminds me slightly of 80s hair products just can't place my finger on it. This would have been a perfect Studio 54 fragrance.

MaisonHamada

@AnaRamona If you like patchouli-heavy scents that smell like body sweat, go for the original Jimmy Choo. If you prefer elegant scents that are not overly sweet, go for this one!

AnaRamona

I need a new summer scent. Should I get this or the original Jimmy Choo? I do like sweet scents.

Luyandaam

This one doesn’t quite do it for me. I dunno what it is in the ingredients but does not smell good at all on me, at least not by itself. But I didn’t buy the perfume to have to layer it all the time. I am so disappointed and upset at the fact that I paid full price for this ☹️ It definitely wasn’t worth it for me! It smells like a medicine of some sort. At some point it gave me hospital vibes and that’s not a cute smell at all. I’ve worn it in winter and summer and neither times it works. Maybe it’s my body chemistry because this was a total miss 😔 I wish I hadn’t bought it full price because I so wish I could return this but I’ve opened it so I can’t. Definitely do not blind but, smell it on yourself first!

RSB28

At first I felt indifferent to this scent, as it seemed like it should be more full bodied and punchy than what it actually is, but that is because I was wearing it in winter. However I’ve come to realise that this smells much better in the heat as it’s like a fresher take on a sweet scent, like a summer version of V&R Bonbon. Definitely wouldn’t wear this during the day in summer, but I exclusively wear this on summer nights. This is a perfect summer night fragrance.

kristamb

This is a nice one, and when I first sprayed this, I was thinking "coconut and cherries..." Maybe it was the color of the bottle IDK...then a few hours later, I smelled Fever again on my wrist and I knew I had smelled something just like it before: BonBon! Yep, smells very similar to V&R's BonBon. Pretty and sweet scent, but I don't need to add it to my collection.

jasiepooh

it's a very sweet scent; reminds me a bit of some purple soda though i can't put my finger on which one. i do pick up on the warmth of the vanilla note, but i would say that comes secondary to the sweet hit i pick up on initially. i don't find the scent terribly unique, but it's a pleasant scent that i can appreciate on others.

i agree that this scent is probably best for a fun nighttime event. it gives me party vibes (i can imagine a sequin minidress clad girl engulfing you in the scent at a new years eve party) and the name 'fever' seems very appropriate.

Edemay

Personally I think the plum makes it smell really cheap and juvenile :(

rachelsedge

I blind sprayed this in Ulta - had no clue what it was going to smell like but I like testing different perfumes when I go. I honestly don't remember what the initial spray smelled like, because it goes down into the dry-down scent pretty quickly and stays there. I want to say initial spray was fruity and sweet. Then it dries down into a very sweet, warm scent. It almost reminds me of Ralph Lauren Beyond Romance in the drydown, the same gourmand warm scent, only a bit deeper, probably from the coffee. Because of that similarity, I won't be purchasing a bottle of this. It's not a bad scent, but it is very sweet and not terribly unique. A bit too juvenile / clubbing-age for me (I'm in my 30s).

vivalajuju

I blind bought a mini, and good Dog, am I happy that I have not purchased a bigger bottle... Not because I don't like it, but because that stuff is POTENT. Just a few dabs suffice for 4-6 hours on skin, 48h on clothes. The first two hours being particularly projectile. In a spray format- Lard knows I don't see the point of it - I guess I could use it behind my knees and shoulders to create a powerfull sillage on a night out clubbing (not that I do that, but whatever) or maybe for sipping sangria on a terrace in Old Montreal during one of those disgustingly hot and moist nights.
One of my criteria for considering a perfume as a 'clubbing' frag is, despite the indoor smoking laws having changed so long ago already (gosh, I feel old now), is that it must make me feel like it would pair well with cigarettes. I don't even smoke, but there is something sexy and appealing about the mere *idea* of a hot girl smoking a cigarette... and in my head, every hot girl has figured out how to smell delicious... as if looking like a snack wasn't enough already! Ahh, some of us really have it all!

Something about JC Fever, passed the drydown and close to its dying hour, smells on my skin just like Rocket candies. Until then, during the opening acts the fruit is very obvious. The sweetness, vanilla and flowers combine well. I am adding it to my curated list of favorites.

Bon39

First spray I thought it was slightly too mature fur my liking. I’m 39years old.
The fruits haven’t jumped out at me at all- Shame. the heliotrope must be an old lady flower. 🤷🏻♀️ I’m just guessing.
After 15 or so minutes it settles and becomes a warm, sweeter smell. Delicate. Which surprised me because the first spray packed an odd punch.
It doesn’t project well and I can’t smell it after an hour. If someone gets close and I ask them if the can smell my perfume they say yes but it’s faint. I ask, do you like it. And “they say yeah it’s ok” 😂
I guess my vote is it’s ok.

Becky1992

This is such a gorgeous autumn winter perfume. Quite sexy so perfect for evenings /nights out

Ellenjaneo

A super underated, unique perfume imo. This perfume may have small similarities to other frags but I think its pretty unique and a worthy addition to any collection. For me its a night out, clubbing style perfume. I get the coffee and plum, not sure I get any nuttiness. Smooth and well blended with enough of a kick to make it edgy. Great sillage and if you shop around normally available at a good price.

elizurofsinai

I love this scent so much!
Although... I think it’s just a taaad bit too sweet for my taste.
If I could find a perfume exactly like this, a perfectly balanced fruity, floral, and deep notes to balance it out,
—but just a bit less sweet, I would be over the moon. If anyone knows of one, please let me know!
And yes, I’ve tried Black Opium and Bon Bon.. they are both too chemically/synthetic smelling for my taste.. still on the hunt.

xox-tammie-xox

Maximum two sprays of this perfume for me as on me it is potent and it is definitely for night time rather than the day! I suspect if you spray too much it will go from cozy and warm to giving people headaches. At first i do get a hint of grapefruit and litchi this actually smells a bit misplaced and too sharp so at first it does at first seem to be a bit of a confusing fragrance. After ten minutes i get the smell of coffee but more of the hazelnut and orange blossom as well. I do get a hint of almond from heliotrope. It it is just really messy at the start. However the perfume seems to completely transform after drydown and i just get a lovely warm plummy, nutty, vanilla, sweet scent with almost a hint of spice that is actually beautiful and gets lots of compliments. I would probably spray straight onto skin rather than clothes as the warmth of your skin helps lose the top notes and leave you with the pretty drydown. I like this perfume but it is just confused so i kind of ignore it for the first ten minutes and wait to enjoy the drydown. It lasts pretty well but by the end of the night will be a very strong skin scent. Test it out in store and give it at least 30 minutes before making a decision.

Kikichaaan

A warm, sweet, slightly powdery and sensual. Love at the first sniff. The sillage and longevity are good but not to the point it wowed me. I usually wear this for night time occasions.

If you like the original Jimmy Choo EDP, maybe you should try this one. This one is more fruity sweet compared to the original Jimmy Choo EDP, but it's worth to try.

Not_a_perfume_junkie

This perfume kind of reminds me of Bon Bon or Prada Candy. It's definitely in the same family with them. It's super sweet. I get a good strong coffee note. It's coffee with italian sweet cream.

One thing this perfume does better is longevity. It stays around unlike Bon Bon and Prada Candy. I don't think it's obnoxious though. This was a blind buy and I'm happy with it.

shikibu

Longevity and sillage is good. But i don't like it.
It's just like something many sweet things are all mixed together in alcohol.
I was very confused this sickness sweet smell.
So sweet, but their is no beauty at all.

fanntonyoscar

This is unlike any fragrance I’ve ever smelled. It doesn’t really match the name (or the scent profile, for that matter). I have to withhold a smiley because of the top and mid-notes. This is like a unique train wreck of floral and gourmand, and I could happily do without the floral. It’s definitely weird. The top and mid-notes are what’s strange... I guess if purple glitter had a scent, this would be it. I’m not incredibly fond of it initially, but I can’t stop sniffing it once the top layer evaporates. The dry-down is absolutely lovely, like a lush plum-vanilla. I wish the all around fragrance was like the dry-down.

Scandipersian

Powdery, reminds me exactly of makeup bags with old max factor powders and such. The plum and tonca blend with vanilla does this maybe. Sophisticated but nothing for me personally. Tested this along with Dolce Gabbana’s The only one, the latter being so much smoother and nicer.

kobylnice

The opening is very similar to Black Opium - there's extra sparkly, kind of champagne fizzy scent and also a hint of grapes notes. The mid tones again BO with extra sweetness. The Fever dry down, however, it's very pleasant! Dark sweet fruity, warm notes and also quite velvety. I think it's a beautiful sophisticated and sexy perfume for the right woman who can wear these spicy heavy fragrances. Sadly not for me.

bdragonfly12345

Mmm, I smell grape! (At first spray). Overall, this has a very strong plum opening with some tart grapefruit and a touch of orange blossom. Nuts, benzoin and tonka in the drydown. I don't smell coffee, jasmine, or vanilla in this.

I really like the reviewer's comment saying "this is the sophisticated half sister of Black Opium"--I agree that there are definite similarities between them, but they are different enough that it's not overkill to own both.

Overall, an easy grab kind of scent; I would definitely enjoy receiving a fb of this as a gift, and will be keeping my eyes open at the online discounters!

Tolkashutka

(From a paper Ulta sample that comes in their mailed catalogue):

NOPE. Too sweet for my nose. Reminds me a lot of Black Opium, but far less coffee and pleasant vanilla. It's a plum / tonka party, and I wish to be taken off the guest list ASAP.

vattenmelon

Definitly has a similarity to Black Opium by YSL , its like having a lighter version of Black Opium actually.
Good for me since this perfume is much cheaper,(i love Black Opium)

BUT this perfume has a syntethic drydown..not at all disturbing, or bad, but Black opium does NOT have that.
anyway, this perfume just screams out:
NIGHT*'CLUB*ONE NIGHT STAND (LOL)
..meaning i think this is a perfect sexy night evening perfume. I love it:D

extrasensoryperception

I'm really enjoying this!
It's hard to describe but it's almost sparkly, or fizzy when sprayed. The fragrance seems to linger nicely unlike others in the price bracket.
It's not particularly unique but definitely a lovely non offensive addition to my ever growing collection and one I'll reach for when I want to feel uplifted.

lisajmunro

I'm not a huge fan of this one. I absolutely LOVE the OG Jimmy Choo as well as Jimmy Choo L'eau and Jimmy Choo Blossom, so I assumed I would like this as well. I'm confused by everyone in the reviews saying it's super sexy because, to me, it doesn't have the sexiness of the OG at all. Fever literally smells like a sweet fruity baby powder. Emphasis on the POWDER. Not into it at all.

SeauxGood

This smells like a freshly opened pack of baby wipes. Although it is a smell I’m accustomed to and don’t mind, I don’t find it necessary to get a full bottle of this. Glad I tried a travel size first.

coffeefemme

Spoke with a Jimmy Choo representative via email and they stated that this perfume does NOT contain coffee or hazelnut notes, so I'm confused as to why Fragrantica would have them listed.

clads

Fever is a nice cool weather fragrance. Applies very sweet, plummy, and syrupy, then dries down to a more mature powdery floral-vanillic scent with residual plum. I unfortunately can’t detect the coffee note, which I was really looking forward to. IMO it’s also quite sexy. As a grad student, I wouldn’t wear it to somewhere like the classroom. It’s a bit too sexy for me (I like more youthful (some would say juvenile) fragrances), but I’m still tempted to buy a full-sized bottle because I really like the opening lol.

leahjay1990

I have to start off by saying that I found this fragrance through my search for a replacement for my beloved Amber Blush from Bath and Body Works that was discontinued several years ago. I read the reviews for Amber Blush (on here, actually) and saw several people saying that Jimmy Choo Fever smelled exactly like it. So, I bought a little travel-sized EDT and I am so pleased! Indeed, this smells just like Amber Blush. At first spritz, I get plum with a bubbly/effervescent note that I assumed was champagne, but this doesn't have champagne listed as a note. So, I think it may be from the grapefruit. On dry down, I get the benzoin mixed with the plum (which deepens over time). This is such a beautiful fragrance and I'm so glad I discovered it. My only complaint is that the scent doesn't last long.

sweryn

To me, this smells like a fancy Christmas drink. I can detect the plum, the tonka beans, the hazelnuts, and the coffee. They are all blended perfectly and they smell like something delicious I just want to drink. This is definitely a sweet smell, but more of a "grown-up" kind of sweet smell. It feels sophisticated but easy to wear at the same time.

soumayaela

This perfume is so sweet and delicious, fruity but at the same time spicy! Crowed pleasing perfume, any woman can wear this and feel sexy and feminine, it smells almost like Black Opium, floral and warm vanilla

I wear this as an everyday scent, after shower scent, grocery shopping scent, etc. since it's so easy to wear and can't offend anyone around me

I bought a 40 ml months ago but i just couldn't finish (i gave it to my daughter), not that i don't like but i bought so many amazing strong perfumes that suit my personality more! Strong powerful perfumes suit me more and i feel more confident wearing like Olympéa, L'interdit, Alien, etc.

I rate this 7/10 it's nice and feminine but not surprising and longevity/sillage are not impressive (maaaaaax 1 hour on me)

poppyetpear

This one smells nice, but smells very similar to the Black Opium Nuit Blanche that I just got. I love Black Opium Nuit Blanche btw. It seemed that I applied JC Fever and took a sniff of my wrists and then it was gone in a couple seconds. I'm gonna try it again fresh out of the shower next time.

Gean.Von.Nroe.

i cant stop sniffing myself i find it very addictive, sweet, warm and almost gourmand witch is wired bc the first time i tried it i though it smelled generic like a celeb perfume actually it smells a lot like ari by ariana grande but more mature and alluring and delicious definitely will get a full bottle even though the sillage is sadly some what weak

Celestya

I love this perfume for fall and winter. It is so feminine, sexy and warm. I can smell tonga, plum, vanilla and a touch of coffee. Not for the office, but perfect for a night or a date. I understand the comment about the comparison with Black Opium, there is same vibe with... sweet, vanilla, and coffee touch. I prefer Fever, but I am a gourmand and plum lover! I wear it before going to bed, very comforting and lovely scent.
10/10 for fall and winter. So délicieux!!!!

car0

I know everyone in the comments says it reminds them of Black Opium but for me this is straight up Dior Poison Girl! Perhaps it's just my skin but that's exactly what I get, except taking away Poison Girl's longevity. This barely lasts a sigh, very edible, definetly get the coffee and the tonka, but still smells like a bad-lasting-power Poison Girl to me. Not a fan.

spacedmaggs

This was love at first smell for me! Perfect for a night out with friends or a date night. I do like to wear this during the day sometimes but something about this just screams "night out on the town" to me. Vanilla leaning and sweet but not at all sickly or sugary. Super sexy too, I get tons of compliments on this one and my husband LOVES it. Definitely one of my favorites.

Lixa

Very nice quality, rich perfume, but too nutty and "edible" for my taste. I see absolutely no resemblance whatsoever to Black Opium, which is one of my favorites.
This should be a good (and actually better) alternative to Angel Muse, for fans of the genre;)

Jessica_Jones

First impression: no, no... way too syrupy, very screechy. Like a broken violin.
Second impression: not too bad, kinda girly and shampoo-y.
Third impression: I like the tonka in this... I might get a full bottle. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

JustSimpleThings

This is nice. Not as gourmand-y as you may expect it to be based on the notes. This is a well blended sweet spicy scent. Interesting enough to lure you in but conventional enough to cater to a mainstream audience.

It's like a light and airy hazelnut mousse- that's the closest description I can give. If that sounds like your cup of tea and you don't mind that this is rather a fruity oriental floral than a gourmand, than go for it! ;)

ineslths

I was a bit surprised by the way it smells. When i tried it on paper a few month ago ( which i admit wasn't very wise of me ) it only smelled like vanilla and plum but now that I have my own bottle I find the Tonka bean smell to be very over powering, it almost smells like pepper on me. The dry down smells a bit more like vanilla but it takes a few hours for it to smell tolerable on me so I resold it. My skin really doesn't take tonka well so i'll be wary of that in the futur.

chloeh94a

I LOVE plum in fragrances, so I was excited to try this! I've read reviews down below saying that this smells similar to Black Opium (which I LOVE but doesn't last on me) or Bonbon Couture, so I just HAD to get my hands on it. I've also tried to get my hands on Bonbon couture, but the size I wanted always sells out quickly. I've also loved Black Opium Intense, but that too didn't last on me.

I finally tried this today and at first spray, smells almost EXACTLY like Black Opium Intense, but with a bit more plum! :) If you're familiar with Black Opium Intense, the blue bottle flanker of BO, it smells just like its original version but with a more menthol, boozy-like quality which electrifies it, thanks to the absinthe note. I believe the benzoin in Fever gives it the same electrified boozy effect as BO Intense. However, the dry down of Fever is a bit different compared to BO Intense...it's more powdery on my skin, whereas BO Intense dries down to a subtle coffee note for me.

Sadly, the lasting power of fever is just the same and fades to an undetectable scent, I have to sniff my wrists REALLY hard just to even tell what I'm wearing...this happens around 1 hour in :( I was excited because I originally purchased BO intense and had to return it cuz the lasting power was just so weak. When I sprayed Fever on me, around an hour later I had to ask friends/family around me just in case I was having olfactory fatigue and just not smelling it, and they said they couldn't really smell anything (they said the same with both BO original and BO intense), but they are able to smell when I spray LVEB or even Marc Jacobs Decadence on me. I think it's just fragrances with similar DNAs that my skin seems to eat up :( But the scent is nonetheless divine...so juicy, so delectable and warm...just wish it lasted longer :(

If you're in the market for another plum fragrance, I highly suggest Marc Jacobs Decadence! It's not as gourmand-ish is this and is definitely more fruity and pleasantly grassy, but the plum note is also very present and beautiful. It also lasts longer and some people still tell me they can smell it by around hour 6 :)

AndreaValerie

I first tried this perfume as soon as it was released in the summer of 2018, and I hated it. It was so strong and intense and just too powerful overall. But now when I tried it winter 2020 I fell in love, it’s become my signature scent and I can’t stop wearing it ever since I got it it’s all I reach for. To me, it smells like caramel (even if that’s not a note), a rich plum and then some vanilla and coffee and it’s beautiful. It’s the perfect warm, very sweet and cosy smell that you’d want for around the winter. The lasting power on me, on skin maybe-7 hours but very faint after 4, on clothes around 9-12 but in my hair? It has lasted over a day and is still noticeable. Personally I can’t smell it on me at all times but get occasional whiffs of it but I’ve been complimented on it and have been told it’s still very intense after 4 hours of wear from maybe around one foot away.

Emer0de

What a disappointment. Definitely do not blind buy this one! How on earth does it have so many great reviews? Its lasting power is weak, no more than an hour top! I need a lot of spray to be able to even smell this on me. And it smells cheap, synthetic like a 99p EDT fragrance you find at the poundshop.
Seeing all these beautiful notes and it being an amber and vanilla dominated perfume was what made me buy it. But I think they got their notes wrong! If you're looking for a winter scent that hugs you, it definitely ain't it. This is way too light.

cooke.84

Maybe coffee scents don't do well on me. YSL's Opium, Carolina Herrera's Good Girl, and now Jimmy Choo's Fever all start out smelling sweet and beautiful but fade very quickly. For this one, I get a sugary plum with some vanilla, but it turns really soft in about 10minutes. I do think it is more successful as a plum gourmand than Kate Von D's Saint. If there were an intense version that projected better and lasted longer I would consider a full-size bottle but in its current form, I can't make that investment.

duckiescents

I bought this perfume based off katarsis review back from July 2020. I personally don't think this perfume is necessary for the 30's and 40's age group, it's not strong enough to be in that age group like the original La Vie Est Belle is, or like the original La Nuit Tresor by Lancome those are powerhouse suffocating perfumes. To me Fever is a light fragrance a perfume for night time for people in their early to mid 20's in the fall and winter. I would say this could be a day and night time perfume for people in their upper 20's to early 30's in the fall and winter. I originally smelled this perfume in a magazine, and thought it smelled similar to something else so I didn't buy it, but for me on skin this doesn't smell like anything I have ever smelled and owned, and in the past 10 years I have smelled and owned over 1,500 perfumes. I only have around 200 now. I think if this perfume was stronger than it is in sillage then this would do better overall. I do love this perfume don't get me wrong, it's personally " too soft " for my personal taste. I turn 30 in February 2021, and I like perfumes that have at least the strength in smell of some of the Paris Hilton perfumes like Rose Rush, Platinum Rush, and Luxe Rush, to me Luxe Rush is way more deeper, and mature than Fever by Jimmy Choo, Luxe Rush hits you in the face, and to me Fever is a stay at home perfume, something you would wear around the house, it projects more like an EDT, instead of an EDP. I really like what this perfumer Honorine Blanc has done up to this point. Because of the sillage I have to give this perfume a 7/10 even though I love this perfume, it's one of my favorite perfume releases of the past few years.

BarkyFragrance

First sprits...I like it, but nothing stands out to me as amazing. 1 hour passes, I think to myself: this is quite yummy! It's been 2.5 hours since I tested it and oh my god.. I'm in love ! Vanilla, nutty, warm spicy, deliciousness.

lovelee8

I recently used up a mini size of this. It's sweet, cozy, vanilla plum. To me, this is a fall/winter daytime fragrance or for evenings in the spring/summer. Unfortunately it doesn't last very long but it helps if layered (apply, wait 5 or 10 minutes, apply more). I agree with the comparisons to Love by Sofia Vergara but I think this is more syrupy. It has really grown on me and I also think the bottle is beautiful. I can see adding a full size bottle to my collection.

thefrenchie

This smells like the Dove limited edition body butter. It smells amazing, super creamy, cosy, it is a feel good fragrance, for everyday. I also wear it at home, it's a super comforting fragrance. It hugs you.

Longevity: 7/10
sillage: 5/10

GiBaby

I recently acquired this scent and it is beautiful to me. A deep, sweet almost syrupy plum with coffee. It has a similar vibe to D&G The Only One to my nose. As much as I love it, it has TERRIBLE lasting power on my skin. I pretty much bought an expensive body mist😞. This is the second Jimmy Choo fragrance i loved at first sniff that has NO performance (Blossom is the other one). I was so excited to get this perfume, i was looking forward to it lasting on my skin as so many have talked about the longevity...no such luck.

Scent: 8/10
Silliage: 3/10
Longevity:1/10

alexandradaos

I can smell the coffee in this, same coffee as in Black Opium, not better, not worse. I am very sensitive to this particular coffee note, but some of the people around me cannot distinguish it.

The drydown resembles all the cheaper Black Opium dupes on the market - I smelled Far Away Rebel from Avon the other day, and it is very similar to this.

Something in the opening notes is badly done, because it smells like white glue - one of those fruits was badly done, can't tell which. The mid-notes are badly done, because I can smell that burnt cooking oil smell, which is something I get when things don't blend quite right.

The hazelnut and vanilla are not there in the drydown. There is some fruit (the litchi?) that lingers, together with sandalwood and some coffee remnants.

Is this disagreeable? No, not really, but it's very far from being a masterpiece. It makes me think of purple shower gel, all transparent and gooey. Chocolates filled with fruit jelly too.

If you want to sort of experience this, get Far Away Rebel, and buy yourself a real coffee (or ten) with the money you save.

hannahcartwright

What a disappointment. Synthetic, awful and not worth the money I spent on it. It’s like a faint, fake, berry smell, doesn’t last nor does it project. Jimmy Choo original is the most beautiful complex fragrance, this is an embarrassment to the line. Very similarly to Illicit, both are just nothing.

Catty

Wow...I´m impressed with the quality and the smell of this perfume! I like it a lot!

If you are searching for a young, cool, syrupy-sexy-cozy gourmand...than you found it here! This is very versatile..you can wear it to stay cozy at home, or for a night out, or just to enjoy your day with friends...perfect for romantic occasions.

I´m wearing it unmder 34 degrees...and it doesn´t suffocate me, ´cause it´s smooth, creamy in a certain way elegant too. The flowery vanilla here is PERFECT!

It projects strong 2 hours upon my skin and longevity of 8 hours.

This was a blind and I´m so happy! Really Great!

Stone Sue

The mid notes and drydown remind me of Faberge Addiction (body spray from the 90s)-I like it!

dglightblue

i knew i smelled orange.

fever, skin test, winter.

today this is much more complex than previously, perhaps a winter scent.

i got a pepperyness (usually hate that) along with the sweet and creamy stuff going on.

its a bit orange creamsicle now but its at least a bit of a journey to get there.

there are similarities in terms of the sweet aspect as im also testing viva la juicy, and juicy noir.

this scent was a bit sharp initially, had to let it settle, the tonka is driving the rounded creamy sweet, this sint super fruity, not like the OG, nor the lighter leau ones, nor rose ones from Choo.
tonka - cool rounded sweet, white florals - clean and creamy, theres more to the depth but cant tell what.
its a nice scent - dont know if id call it reliable for me. gove it a go. performs differently in weather hot cold.

peonies and musk

Smells similar to both Love by Sofia Vergara and Signorina Misteriosa, but those are only “likes” for me and are uncomplicated on-trend ultra-feminine scents while Fever is syrupy and has something in its composition that keeps pulling me back in. I love it. I can understand that its overpowering sweetness and meld of notes could translate as cheap to some people though. It has that same quality as Beyoncé’s Heat where all the notes introduce themselves to you at once (not that they smell like one another, just the way the fragrances behave are similar)

victoria.mei1992

Can smell something like patchouli, milky notes. Smells quite cheap. Resembles Lady Gaga - Fame.
