Това е толкова прекрасно 💓
Карамелизирана череша с много добра трайност!

Това е толкова прекрасно за любителите на сладките аромати. Карамелизирана череша с лек бадем в началото.
Прекрасно!💓

Sweet and syrupy. Cherry and almonds mainly for me. After some time the vanilla takes over, yet cherry is the most prominent here. Playful but still ok for office. Surprisingly not clogging - I am not such a huge fan of sweet perfumes, but this is really nice and somehow feels fresh. I have to say I like it more than expected.

Løpasdfkdf

This smells sweet. If you like this kind of fragrances then this is for you. I dont smell it gourmand but sweet. And smells more like cherrys and caramel with a hint of rose. The cherry does not smell like medisin at all.

I was very lucky, stumbled upon this one by accident at a discounter. I was afraid of it maybe being bad, as this was discontinued a while ago, but it seems fine to my nose, even if the bottle is 6 years old.

It's a very nice blend - gourmand but not literal, and not overly sweet. I'm not sure how to describe it, but also because some of the aspects confuse me. Like the French pastries note - I think I smell it, but maybe I just smell the mix of caramel, cherry and almond? I can't pick them apart all that well.

Regardless, it smells great, and I'm glad to have picked it up. It wasn't even price gouged!

I adored this fragrance by Dominique Ropion; I especially love the pastry vibes, like you have been baking gorgeous cakes all day and it's infused into your skin.

It is very sweet and not everyone will love that but it is a great first gourmand for a girl or boy and my teenage sons love it a lot. I cannot work out why they discontinued it really fast. It works really well in the Autumn, but maybe because it is way too sweet for the warmer months as it can be cloying. The opening is a little pop of fizz that dissipates fast leaving you with a syrupy almond cake, almost festive.

I layer mine with Penhaligon's Changing Constance sometimes as they blend well as a gorgeous layering combo. If you have it try it!

karlee79

It's hard to wear at first but I've figured it out , if you spray it in the air and walk through it's better and I can't get over the smell it leaves on clothes the day after is incredible, my coat will always smell like it and that's when I get the compliments

Zedj

This is my favorite perfume of all time. Why is it discontinued? Please bring it back, please, please! I've been looking for this for years. Every time I had this on everyone asked what this wonderful scent was. I won't find anything like this again. :(((((

irlfireprincess

For most of the life of this fragrance, I get very sweet, very syrupy cherry that comes off kind of synthetic and kind of cherry cough syrup-like. Then in the base I get caramel and maybe some vanilla. That's it. I don't get any pastry accord or orange blossom, which is sad because that's among my favorite notes. This is just okay. I'm underwhelmed by it. I don't see myself reaching for it, so I'm going to sell.

Ethereal Love

I can't believe this perfume went so under the radar. I was lucky enough to snag a cheap unboxed tester online a few weeks ago before it sold out. This was a blind buy for me, but I recently heard good things about this one in a YouTube video, so I thought I'd be safe to purchase this one and I was right! This perfume is absolutely delicious. It smells like a cherry cream pie. What a dream! If there is anyone who is curious about this scent and manages to find it for a decent price, don't second guess it. Especially because this is discontinued and will be hard to find if you change your mind. Just buy this!

OneidaWelty

Definitely belongs in my top 5 of best gourmands. It's yummy, and one of the sweetest loveliest (not cloying) cherry scented fragrances that I own.

amyaz

A nice light sweet cherry. Longevity is good. Similar to Valentina blush. Yes its really sweet but it wasn't cloying for me and probably wouldnt be for any gourmand lover. Just not my cup of tea in the end though!

SweetSillage98

is this discontinued? please someone answer me🤔😶

emmayoung537

So much love for this one

snowyvanille24

I got the l’interdit rouge. This one is like a weaker version of that one eventhough the notes are different. The dry down is like rolling in love. I find it’s like that for some perfumes. Like kilian’s perfumes are very much the same except for some minor differences. For gourmand perfumes, it’s like 70 percent the same scent and just add some different notes. Very boring.

Nashira.torres

If Le Petite Robe Noir and La Vie Est Belle had a baby this would be it. Very yummy and sweet gourmand. Super happy with this blind buy!

Emera1d

This definitely smells very close to the original, just sweeter. I love them both though, especially in summer. I would say they are like a grown up more polished version of an Escada summer edition. Doesn't really smell like cherries to me, but it does smell like pastries a little. Definitely for people who like very sweet, yummy smelling perfumes. It always makes me feel elegant, stylish and put together. Using it on days when I put more effort in. Longevity is great, but I do reapply on the 4th or 5th hour to keep that soft delicious cloud around me. Bottle is gorgeous too.

Agar

I find this to be waayyy to pungent, the French pastries note is overpoweringly sickly, it’s the only thing I can smell

RubyRedCancer

I've had this for over a year and decided to wear it for the first time today. I'm a sucker for sweet and cherries and this hits the spot. I love La Petit Robe Noir Legere and this is along the same lines, but without the licorice note. Just sweet cherry. Sometimes I have to be in a mood for licorice/anise, but this one I can wear any time.

Lavandermilk

One of my good friends, she is a gourmand lover through and through who projects sweet smells well, bought this and absolutely hated it. She told me it smelled extremely powdery on her and gifted it to me because I am a little obsessed with it!
On me this is all cherry and almond. The powder really rounds out the sweetness and sharpness of the cherry but is not over-powering. This is more floral than it is anything resembling french pastries. So if you are someone who is a fan of florals but wants something gourmand this would be a great try. If you are expecting something very yummy and creamy then this might underwhelm you. It is not light though, but a thicker syrupy feel.
This has became one of my favorite scents in my collection. It last all day and has a very strong projection for about three hours in warmer weather, slightly less in the winter. When I wear it my bf told me I smell like the perfume section at the store

In short; a tart cherry and almond creme powder puff drizzled with rose syrup.

Nraveles

La petite robe noire and lost cherry mixed to whether.
Take the syrupy rich cherry of LC and the bright fizzy vibe of LPRN and this is it with extra gourmand push.

This is heavenly

Wow this will make Kim K smell cavities on you lmao. I havent tried Girl of Now yet, but this is like a cross between Fleur De Femme with the cherry-almond- rose minus the orange, and Poison Girl EDP with the orange blossom, vanilla and rose (and in Poison Girl EDT there is caramel too plus the tonka & heliotrope -possibly- make the frosted orange smell like cherry to me! But PG EDT is much lighter (neroli thank you) and different than this). This is much heavier than Poison Girl EDP given there is no lemon to freshen things up abit and the cherry here is so bold with the pastries. Orange blossom is what made Black Opium a star in my book and it is one hell of a sweet note! The cherry is as strong as in Fleur De Femme, this perfume here is not light or juvenille at all!! No breath of air in this perfume haha. Fleur De Femme is like Poison Woman, a mature Poison Girl and it is also pungent and deep like this, more melancholy and sharp (jasmine intensifies that) with the contradicting orange/almond/rose blend, and here the cherry, rose, almond and pastries are quite a sharp but a sweet twist as well! This crazy pink delight here comes off VERY very syrupy on me, deep, thick like cooking fruit with sugar and having my head over the pot, and I make cooked fruit in my culture quite often so I know this smell well lol. As I smell my skin it is just like when the fruit syrup becomes thicker and it is ready. It is slightly dusty too from the rose. AT the dry down I get even more of the caramel, almond while the cherry calms down a bit. Very interesting. This is the cherry version of the raspberry/strawberry Hot Couture EDT. And I had thought Prada Candy Gloss is heavy at the drydown, this is heavy aaaall the way, it's like this was created by Fauna, the Sleeping Beauty fairy who couldnt bake but loved to try her luck! I screamed when I saw this available in the UK. Was it worth it? Not mad at it at all. I live for almond and cherry, almond with cherry is tricky though.

So I wore it all day in 74 degree weather. Mistake. This is strictly for cold weather, for someone like me prone to nausea. There is something here throughout the entire duration and the stages of it kinda off-key/contradicting which is slightly nauseating when I smell my skin up close, but the projection of it is charming! This is the essence of the perfume, it softens up after 2 hours but it is strong! It is something VERY milky. It must be the almond, not playdoh-like or like almond essence. The almond here is dominated by the caramel. This milkiness becomes sickly sweet and almost burnt, like condensed sweetened milk mixed with caramel. There is a slight sour touch here, also smokey and rich, must be who else, the caramel (think Prada candy type of caramel) and something VERY earthy almost green, must be the orris root being an earthy powdery scented note made from the villain of the doll-like/makeupy scents, the Iris! Sometimes from violet too but possibly Iris here. These elements smell very unique to me, but they are just an unconventional blend and create an overly sweet, lactonic powdery almost green woody scent. After 3 hours on me this scent gives me almost oud vibes, I hope I do not exaggerate. This fragrance to me is as heavy as Twilight Shimmer by Michael Kors, but a jolly cousin lol That one I call the Evil witch perfume. Delicieuse is no evil witch perfume but it's like a drunk pastry chef composed it... or that fairy. It is unique though, I aint letting go, I love weird unusual scents, and Im gonna rock it in 18 degree weather!
Update: So Shock-In-Scent by Police gives me that same exact lactonic, earthy kinda smokey scent I get from here, and turns out it really is the Orris Root + honey or caramel + almond.. Thats the recipe.

Josie_xo

This smells kind of like lost cherry by TF (of course TF is a bit more boozy-but very similar!)

EDIT: alright maybe 40% alike - LC definitely features more almond boozy slightly Smokey- the depth is there. Whereas givenchy is syrupy (sickeningly) sweet. Almond and cherry with sugar honey and all things sweet- not much else after that.

I don't know what's happened to me. I have become ~ whispers quietly ~ a gourmand fraghead. Yes, yes I have and I have no shame. I'll shout from the roof tops, the treetops, the chimney tops, the................well you get the picture. I somehow accidentally bought a bottle of LVEB Intense (the one with hazelnut cream accord instead of patchouli) and fell like a ton of sugar buttercream on a macaron. Now on to the useful part of this review. Sweet, fruity and almond. Smooth, so well blended you can't tell where the almond paste ~ cherry begins and the floral joins in for a little whiff. It's not going to bring any accolades for uniqueness, but that's not what I want. I want a lovely sweet fruity almond. The almond isn't golden creamy like in Girl of Now, but more flowery bc of the orange blossom and rose (more candied rose IMO). The orris root gives it a nice softness, not too powdery but enough to diffuse all that sugar. The rose and orange blossom compliment the cherry with just a touch of floral but not enough to even come close to calling this a floral, this is all fruity almond paste with a cool touch of vanilla. The caramel gets lost in the vanilla but that vanilla gives it a roundness to bring it all togethor. It's not one to change much, very linear. And beautiful bc of that. I'm not going to buy back up bottles even though it's discontinued bc of that very linearize. I'm just going to spray to my hearts content and enjoy the beautiful bottle when it's done. LVEB I was back up bottle worthy bc of its journey, though.
I'm going to be honest, I got scared. Really scared. I put on my Chanel No 5 body cream and my Nanny-in-laws 80's EdP of 5 today, just to make sure I was okay and the sugar hadn't ruined my loves. I'm happy to report that I'm doing just fine. 😋

mevans

The opening is totally Girl of Now, or maybe GoN Shine which has the additional fruit with the almond would be a closer fit. Délicieuse opens very gourmand with the almond strong and sweet notes dense and syrupy, particularly the fruity notes coming from the cherry. As it dries down though, the sweetness is not as strong and it settles into a fresh, fruity sweet. So although the opening may seem too thick and sweet for a summer fragrance, an hour in it can certainly work in warmer weather as well as any other season. It also doesn't project a huge amount. However, hot summer weather may boost that performance.

I can´t seem to get rid of my obsession with finding the perfect watermelon and cherry scents. The hunt for those are in a quest I find myself on.

This is one of the better cherry scents I have stumbled across.

Cherries ripe and juicy mixed with vanilla pastry cupcakes, caramel and grounded almonds.

Bakery cherry heaven.

Longevity and silage are both moderate. Lovely and comforting scent. Good for quiet moments relaxing with a cup of tea and a book.

LMD

I found this really disappointing. I love the original live irresistible and this sounded, well, delicious. I don't know if I got a dud sample but this barely smelt of anything. I could faintly smell the DNA sweet base notes of the original but it faded so fast. I got no cherries or pastries. It could be me too as my skin seems to either completely eat scent or massively amplify it (typically smells I hate, talk about sod's law).

emeraldwaters

Im not sure if its the rose giving it that powdery note but I could kindly do without it. Cherry is more of a sour scent. I don’t hate it, but it’s not what I expected. Not a safe blind buy. Ill probably end up mixing this with other fragrances to make it more tolerable.

Happyme2009

I have several versions of Very Irresistible Live... live delicieuse, live collector, live blossom crush and live rosy crush.. I have to say this is my least favourite. Surely it's the strongest and longest lasting of all, but it's also the one that smells the least natural ... I still like it, but the combination of cherry and almonds is always a difficult one, as it very easily slides into cough syrup artificial sweetness and flavour territory. Just like the Maraschino cherries, lovely and aromatic when well preserved, chemical when not. I don't know how this gets so many loves, while other versions are not. Anyways, each to their own. It's sweet, strong, very much like cherry-bitter almond with sugar, and still retains the original DNA. Pretty. I got it in a swap, I am happy to have it, will wear it, but it's not my first choice from this collection.

dionne90

This is a lovely perfume. Definitely for someone who enjoys sweet gourmands. When I first spray it I get the cherry almond bakery scent. This quickly changes to smelling exactly like Girl of Now Shine in the dry down. The orange blossom is the most noticeable.

Palmer Eldritch

Scrumptious sweet cherry pastries...
Do you want to smell absolutely edible and enchanting?
Then look no further than Live Irrésistible Délicieuse!

When I saw the opening notes, I was sure this perfume was going to be synthetic and sickly sweet...However it has completely proven me WRONG!

The opening is KING. So incredibly delicious & dreamy - It literally smells like sweet cherries and glazed mille-feuille pastries. The cherry isn't sour like in 'La Petite Robe Noire' or 'Prada Candy Gloss'.

This delectable opening lasts maximum an hour on my skin, by then the caramel, vanilla and soft almond emerge. The orris root gives a touch of sweet powder. Very gourmand, delightful and sexy.

DOWNSIDE: The performance on my skin is a tad disappointing: by the sixth hour the scent is gone. The projection is great the first 2.5 hours. Also the cherry note doesn't last too long.

CLOSEST DUPE: 'Mauboussin A La Folie'- It has better performance on my skin. Both around 85% similar to each-other to my nose. 'A La Folie' is more sparkling with champagne & its raspberry is similar to the cherry. However the raspberry lasts longer.

Love this FAR more than the original 'Live Irresistible', and probably one of the best designer gourmands available without patchouli. It's so sexy, I will be using this like crazy!

VERDICT: Mouthwatering, classy, playful and feminine. A staple for gourmand lovers. Live Irrésistible Délicieuse lives up to the hype.

colorblindlove

I was looking so forward to this scent but it really let me down. It smelled heavy and sickenly sweet plus powdery and it just wasn’t for me at all. The drydown gives me a similar vibe to dior addict which I also don’t do well with (btw the scents are completely different but they must have a note in them that I don’t mesh well with). This is going up for sale!

Like walking through a quieter street in the city of Paris. You're wearing a beautiful sundress and the sun is shining, everyone is staring at you. You're in love, strolling hand and hand with your soul mate. You stop for a bakewell tart in a tiny little family owned bakery, the aroma and the flaky pastry a delight to your senses, your other half steals a bite and tells you how wonderful you smell...

The bottle and Parisian presentation is absolutely delightful. The bottle is even more stunning in person, and the pretty pink juice is just darling!

Delicieuse opened up for me with sweet pastries and almonds, like a freshly baked cherry bakewell. Then a light rosy caramel starts to mingle which is softened out by the vanilla. Very chic and sexy, but not in a dirty way. In a playful "catch me if you can!" way.

A must try for gourmand lovers like myself! I absolutely love this scent. It's youthful, feminine and fun! I don't have anything else that smells like this in my collection.

Overall, I'd say this perfume is super sweet, very delicious and unique.

I'd buy again.

RachelSeun

Pink, pretty and oh so sweet, this gourmand fragrance smells like cherry cupcakes with delicious caramel doused all over! On my skin Delicieuse is intense and it definitely gets me noticed by others and lasts for hours. However, I’ve had people mistake this for a Britney Spears fragrance on me as it is very very sweet, it doesn’t smell like an upscale designer fragrance from the house of Givenchy to be completely honest!

RCDiane

This is so beautiful to me!!! I can’t believe I haven’t experienced this til now lol. I remember when it came out I was so excited to try it but for whatever reason it just never came about. Oh well, better late than never I guess:) Needless to say I have a full bottle on the way now. As to the scent, this has the most beautiful and unique yummy cherry pastry-like opening and for the most part retains that same scent through the rest of the day on me. It seems to sit pretty close to the skin after an hour or so unfortunately but it does seem to really make a huge difference just by spraying it on my neck and hair as far as projection goes. Personally I don’t mind respraying throughout the day when it comes to such a yummy fragrance as this. I’m living for that opening lol:) If you love the idea of smelling like a yummy sweet cherry pastry, than this is probably the fragrance for you.

weegee

Live Irresistible Delicieuse edp smells like a thick cherry amaretto syrup meant to be poured over crepes & topped with a dollop of whipped cream. I'm usually an over-sprayer but honestly, just one spray on one wrist will suffice - simply tap with your other wrist & then tap each wrist to your neck and you're good to go all day or night.

Extremely sweet, almost achingly so, and totally delicious. No pastry to my nose, just cherry amaretto from start to finish and that's fine by me.

I've had my pretty 2.5oz bottle for about 6 months, wear it often and the level is barely below the midpoint on the label. Worth every penny I paid. Highly recommended for lovers of cherry gourmands.

Cal2601

It's ok. Super sweet and delicious smelling at the opening but dries down to a simple sweet, slightly fruity pastry scent in 20 minutes before fading into oblivion. I got no florals at all. To my nose, it does smell young and lacks complexity and interest for me. I'll keep the sample for my daughter.

petitegourmandisesbisous

Not a safe blind buy at all. Very very heavy on the cherry - overpoweringly so. The pastry note does make its presence known and can be pretty fascinating and intriguing but unfortunately not in the right manner. This is the sort of scent that has you sniffing and sniffing and sniffing in the quest to know whether or not you are positively intrigued or not. Ultimately I was not. It didn't smell bad... until it did. A few hours into wearing this one (around 2), the very pastry note which intrigued me became my worst enemy. This note I suspect is what literally made the fragrance smell like a__s with an artificial cheap, artificial cherry spray sprayed over top in a poor poor and nauseating effort to hide the fact. I've never had a fragrance go so wrong except for maybe Fancy Nights by Jessica Simpson (which had a weird fattiness to it). This one is a no go and not a safe blind buy at all. Doesn't deserve its name and has kept me away from Givenchy fragrances completely as I can't afford to take the risk to smell that bad ever again. If you really must try it (hey, maybe it will work with your chemistry and we have different noses), then do yourself a favor and get a sample vial. Can't and never will recommend and am haunted by the mere memory (not being dramatic here either).

P.S. If you're looking for something similar but way better in my opinion, I'd recommend Britney Spears' Fantasy The Naughty Remix, who shares an orris root nose and who to my nose at least does have a bit of a cherry scent even though it isn't a listed note. The cupcake and white chocolate notes there add a sweetness like the vanilla is meant with LID. Fantasy NR gives a similar vibe to what LID was / is meant to be except it is better.

giakerr

If an alien came to earth and asked me what gourmand is, I’d give them a whiff of this. It smells exactly like a buttery cherry tart. I don’t detect any florals. Just pastries, vanilla, cherry and almond. Sweet and yummy, moderate projection, but rather poor longevity.

Ivilee

This is a lovely juice.. It reminds me of Lancome La Vie Est Belle Intense. It very sweet but not as intense as LVEB but super nice. It mellows down after 2hrs last close to the skin for 8+HR. I just wish it was stronger...still delicious!

Hurricane_Hilda

I wanted to like this. The notes sound amazing I bought the vial sample and I’m glad I didn’t go ahead and blind buy it. It doesn’t stink or anything but it didn’t wow me. This wasn’t the cherry I was expecting to smell💔. I was so excited to get this in my hands but I was disappointed. It reminded me of halls yup cherry scented halls minus the Vick’s smell . It does nothing for me sadly. I have smell worse but this simply is not for me

Scentflower

I asked for this perfume as part of my valentine's day gifts. My husband gave it to me soon as it arrived. I sprayed it and thought, this smells like something I have already. Smells exactly like Girl of Now in my opinion. I sprayed one wrist with this perfume other with Girl of now.I smell cherry in the tops notes, some rose on the dry down mixed with almonds. The cherry note is kinda sharp, like when you open a bag a frozen cherries. The cherry smell is hard to detect though. Unless someone specifically tells you it's in there you don't notice it. The cherry isn't enough of a difference to make it worth having both. It's nice and I'll use it but side by side comparison, I like Girl of now even better

HelenaZ

Got this on ebay for quite a steal. put it on yesterday morning, went shopping a bit later, and got a few compliments! A shop assistant asked what I was wearing even (I probably butchered the word deliceuse) so I guess that gives some idea of the sillage from four sprays (wrists and behind the ears) lasts the whole day but softens by the evening. Lasts very well on clothing/scarves.

The smell itself is very lovely, gets compliments

AlexandraTroush

The perfume starts sweet, young and joyful but doesn't have time to evolve before it completely disappears. It is gone within minutes after spraying, even when applying 10+ sprays.

I don't think it justifies the price for this poor performance, however cute and fun it smells.

Also, no pastries or almond in sight.

Tiff Worthy

This to me smells very much like Girl of Now Shine! Almost identical in the dry down. Mostly bitter almond, vanilla and orange blossom. Since I have Girl of Now Shine and it has much better performance,I don't feel that I need this even though it smells really good. You don't need both.

ParisLoveXo

Warm cherry pastries . I think the almond and vanilla and rose notes mix together to balAnce this out because to me the main note is Cherry . I absolutely love this in cooler months and it has great longevity . A gem in a collection .

mychinarose

Cherry cupcakes and caramel sauce. This is a very decadently sweet dessert perfume...I love it. Probably not the best thing to wear in a really hot summer, and probably not a great idea to spray more than once, because in my experience it's really potent. Very girly and feminine, this perfume begs for wearing a big flowy skirt and lipgloss.

lorna.1

I immediately loved this sweet cherry scent, it has such a decadent cakey aroma that warms up with the caramel and rose.
I really enjoyed it and I am quite disappointed that it had been removed from the line. I hope they return it.

I can smell this for about 6-8 hours on my skin and clothes. I love to layer it too.
I am a lover of Gourmand so this is beautiful for me.

KylieBooFace

I loved the idea of this, as I love cherry and pastries, but spraying this on a paper strip instantly turned me off. Cherry cough syrup vibes :( Demeter Cherry Cream is perfect if you want some cherry-vanillla decadence...

Edit: I feel brave enough to try this on my skin next time at Ulta. Maybe it'll transform into a cherry dream, or maybe I am asking for a disaster. We will see, LOL.

Edit 2: On the skin, it starts something fresh and sweet, then dries down kind of powdery and bitter on me. It's goinf to be a no. :/

vlarya

It's just faint cherry and faint vanilla. Neither is strong. I don't get any pastry.

melialyn

I had been saving this for spring, but it's pretty mild today and I wanted something cheerful and sweet. And this is. I get a clean cherry vanilla almond. I had tried it with the jergens lotion (cherry almond) but I find the lotion sharper, doesn't mix as nicely. I like it with a sweet vanilla lotion. Definitely get the cherry Chapstick vibe but with a sweet vanilla almond alongside. Very nice, inoffensive, not syrupy sweet, it's different, lighter but has sillage and great longevity! I remember wearing it to work last summer when I got it and still getting whiffs of a light sweet cherry and caramel (didnt get caramel til drydown later) after a full day of work.

kasey_skywalker

I’m sorry to the reviewers that can’t pick up the pastry or almond notes. They make this fragrance really great! There is a local cupcake shop where I live that makes specialty cupcakes and this smells like a cherry amaretto cupcake from that bakery. I really enjoy this! I was worried it would be too sweet and too girly for me, but it feels right. Definitely not too cloying, considering I’m sick with a stomach bug at the time of my first test and it didn’t make me nauseous. It’s actually a nice pick-me-up during this time of cabin fever. Performance is pretty good as well! I think this might actually be a love for me, but we shall see!

dgambarella

I received this as a birthday gift from my boyfriend and let me tell you this is NOTHING like the unisex, spicy, and warm fragrances I gravitate to when picking my own fragrance. It’s so sweet and gourmand I didn’t know if I should be offended that he didn’t know my taste or take a hint that he’d prefer that I wear more flirty and overtly feminine scents around him.

Although this is very sweet it isn’t cloying as I find other pink juices like La Vie est Belle to be. As someone else mentioned, it smells like baked sweet bread or a waffle with fruit compote. I think it’s a nice choice for cold winter days and reminds me of Christmas parties with all the desserts out for guests.

Longevity was good, the scent is pleasant and I can’t see it offending anyone. Although it’s something I would have never picked for myself I enjoy the almond note and creaminess of Eau Deliceuse.

Longevity was good, the scent is pleasant and I can’t see it offending anyone. Although it’s something I would have never picked for myself I enjoy the almond note and creaminess of Eau Deliceuse.

stephanieklein

I was DESPERATE for a cherry perfume! I own and already tried Le Petite Robe Noire but it's not what I wanted. I was on the hunt for a TART CHERRY that makes you want to bite me! Something you cannot stop smelling, you can't get enough, it drives you mad and you just want to bite it! I thought this Givenchy was the irresistible answer. It was not.

Don't get me wrong. It's lovely. And to me, it's kissing cousins with Le Petite Robe Noire. It's a sweet cherry but not dark or bursting. Missing the tart punch I love!

francescasmith94

I was pleasantly surprised by this one as I had tried cherry scents before and didn’t enjoy them. Cherry is prominent in this fragrance but it also smells (as the name suggests) deliciously creamy and inviting. The dry down smells almost like a really expensive shampoo to me. I think this could be worn by women of all ages.

lnoskin

I had never tried a cherry perfume before and thought this would be a good place to start. And because Givenchy is so hard to find testers/places to test, I blind bought a mini online. I like it. I just do not know if cherry is for me. The dry down I definitely could get used to. I am going to try this out a few more times to see how I feel about the cherry. But I feel like if you are a cherry fan, you will love this. It really does smell like a cherry dessert.

chinna

It is just like Le petit robre noir , Guerlain . But I love almond ... So I get it too.

Sweet-Tooth777

In a word - divine. There is a bakery a few blocks from my house. I don't walk past there very often, but when I do I stop in the doorway and inhale that unique gorgeous bakery smell....and pretend to look at something in the window! Bakeries just seem to have that floury sweet smell unlike any other store. I knew I would love this fragrance due to the notes listed. I'm a gourmand lover but this fragrance is not sickly sweet. I mainly get a French pastries note, nothing more, nothing less. Just blends beautifully with my body chemistry I guess.

I might have to buy a few as Christmas gifts this year and I can see myself wearing this everyday now that the weather is warming up.

I have finally found that bakery smell I have been searching for. I think I've found my signature fragrance!

Christycaxxx

It seems that lately I have been gravitating towards gourmand fragrances and this one from Givenchy is a yummy fragrance I would wear any time of the year. Definitely smelling the cherry notes with almond and the other sweet notes overrides the floral notes that I can just detect but very weakly. Not sickly sweet but it comes off sexy, fun and irresistible. Definitely a safe blind buy if you like fruity gourmands!

cyndz

This is Absolutely fabulous!! I am a gourmand lover - fruity, candy, bakery scents are my thing for a while now. Hot Couture is a Holy Grail of mine and I think this may very well be another! Delicious fruity, cherry and french pasteries - this smells sooo good!! Great for Spring/Summer. Unlike the Dahlia Divins - of which I can only tolerate the "Nude" version - no strong, over the top cloying florals. Love this so much!

Lovelymichie

What a beautiful spring/summer scent!
It starts off as sweet almonds with a cherry drizzle, then it dries down to caramelized nuts with a hint of fruit.
My new fav..

Soofiya

@Honeybee1982
The only thing reaches to my mind is that maybe you had tested live irresistible edt in store?the one with pink juice. It's more about strawberries but I can actually smell a lot of cherry in it too, even more than delicieuse one
If not then there should be a mistake accured during your bottle's production process."live irresistible edp" is among my top ten favorite perfumes and I have went through two bottles of it,I can assure you that it has lots of pineapple and not cherry
I suggest you to test live irresistible edp and live irresistible delicieuse in an other perfume shop to make sure wether your bottle is the real delicious flanker or original edp in delicious bottle

Minnie02

@HoneyBee1982

I'm not a fan of pineapple in perfume and I can definitely smell it in the EDP, which is a turn off for me, and do not smell any pineapple at all in Delicieuse. I get cherry, almond, and pastries mostly. If you look directly on the Givenchy website, you'll see pineapple listed under the EDP but not for Delicieuse. Are you sure you actually bought/tested Delicieuse?

missyumyum

I've tried this perfume at least 5 times to give my honest review and I really don't like it I don't pick up any of the notes listed and it just smells musty on me not musky musty like when you haven't worn you clothes in awhile and they've sat in your wardrobe and you pull them out to wear and they need to be washed again,i keep trying it to see if it changes but it doesn't I'm going to get some other people to try it and ask others opinions on it on me just to see if it's my nose I was so excited for this but it was a fail for me it also feels like the scent somewhat suffocates me

mister_chaz

It smells sweet and fresh, I definitely detect powdery almond in this. Pretty and feminine overall, very inoffensive. Reminds me of a denser version of an old Fleur de Noel by Yves Rocher.

dipisor

Gorgeous scent! The openning is quite powerful. But it settles down to a beautiful powdery lipstick scent. The cherries are the stars here. They blend so nicely with the other notes. It's a warm, sexy scent. Really alluring. The drydown makes all the money. Very good longevity and sillage.

Blossom Dreams

I smelled this today and did something I have never done... On the spot I purchased not one but TWO bottles (75ml and 30ml for my purse). I can smell the pastries and cherry, and the deliciousness isn't limited to the top notes like with a lot of fragrances. This one has a perfect amount of silage (it won't fill a room, but it's not a skin scent) and has excellent longevity. There's something really special about this scent. It's pretty, soft, sweet, and feminine without being sickly or too youthful. It's playful, sparkling, yet alluring. An all-occasion, all-season fragrance. Could be worn to the office, the beach, out in the evening, even for a wedding. The bottle is absolutely stunning too. A total win and I hope it stays around because I think this will be part of my fragrance wardrobe for many years to come :-)

retrodeedee

i just bought this today. it was love at first sniff. i was looking for quite some time now for a perfume with a dominant almond note that would be juicy and caramel-sort-of-sweet at the same time.i felt that intoxicating (in a good way of course) almond right away and right after that came the cherry. normally i would stay away from any cherry perfume since they tend to smell cheap or at least kind of childish and vulgar, but this cherry is shy and sofisticated, it doesn't scream at you. the fruity part is quite well balanced with vanilla and almond that are kind of turning down the volume and warming everything up into a beautiful warm sweet but not cloying autumn scent. i'm deffinetly not a fan of this irresistable line but i'm really glad i gave this gem a try!

MaVieEnRose

Not a common fragrance, I'm always looking for a perfume that reminds me of the amazing 90's an then, I found Live Irresistible Eau de Parfum Délicieuse ... It reminds me a lot of Gale Hayman "Delicious" and it's absolutely sweet, gourmand, with lots of caramel...I'm in love!!!

lalondem

So much better than the original "live irresistible" because of NO patchouli. I am quite tired of the patchouli smell as I have at least 10-15 bottles of different patch smells. I actually bought the wrong one of this (bought the original) on line because the bottles look all alike. This one is delightful , pretty and sweet without being too sweet. One of my new favs....

Livgranger

Jammy, almondy, cakey delight! This IS a gourmand and it lets you know! I think it's fun and different, the 'cakeiness' is amped up with the almonds and cherries. With just enough floral notes to make it wearable. There is an intense cherry note at the beginning, then the almonds emerge. It's like being in a French patisserie, surrounded by posh perfumed French women, all vying for the delicious almond pastries.

For me it is what it is, if I want to smell like a cake and amuse myself, I'll spray this on. I don't mind the odd cherry bakewell!

The dry down is sweet caramel/fruits, my skin tends to cling to a fruity note and I found the other two versions, Live Irresistible EDT and EDP too fruity for me.

Sillage is somewhere in between moderate and heavy. Longevity for me is a full nine hours. I like it.

Edemay

Really is so delicious.
Im over the almond and cherry perfume trend but this is the exception. Smells so realistic and started with bitter nuts and intense tart cherry.
The smell of pastry and florals join the party and at one strange stage i was even reminded of lipstick on.
The dry down is smooth sweet and still has a huge throw.
I didn’t find this sticky sweet or too powdery at all, its the perfect cherry scent to me.

jayde_x

Super sweet in the best way, smells like an actual dessert, topped with fruit & nuts and then decorated with fresh flowers.

aconeyisland

This is Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette singing I want candy (and cherries and pastries and almonds and ice creams and...). Supersweet and cloying after the first two minutes. For the first two minutes it's fun.

bourgeoismisspiggy

While on holiday in Belgium last year, I tried a "Belgium waffle" at Maison Dandoy. It had cherry compote and vanilla ice cream on top. This scent is an exact recreation down to the last delicious bite! The warm waffle, crispy on the outside, chewy in the middle...sweet and tart cherries...loaded with vanilla bean goodness...whoa whoa whoa!!! Almost sinful, but without the calories! If you are ever in Brussels, check out Maison Dandoy! Otherwise, smell this stuff!

Update: Longevity is interesting with this one. It lasts for roughly 5-6 hours, but the most extraordinary note, the sweet/tart cherry, flutters away within the first 3 hours. You're left with something...missing. It's still a very nice fragrance, but without the cherry, you can find similar scents elsewhere. Still one of my favorites due to the incredible opening. Sillage in the first 3 hours is moderate if not great, but sits extremely close to the skin toward the finale.

dglightblue

I haven't tried on skin but smelled the sprayer on the bottle in dept store, its amazeballs!
It might be too similar to the EDP in this line that's already out. Not sure. I have the EDP but not this one. Would have to try both one on each arm to see if worth it.

TrudyAmanda

Smell the spray of this when it's been used a few times and tell me it doesn't smell like fake tan! Not that I don't think it's a lovely scent that changes when worn on the skin it just seems to have a fake tan scent that lingers on the bottle.

milk_in

Like caramel topped pastry with cherry on top..
Delicious, nice gourmand. Warm and very sweet, maybe hint of powdery. I got strongly vanilla, caramel and cherry. And little bit of flowers and almond in backround.
Some days it could be too sweet and strong for me, but I still like it.
Thumbs up!

Minnie02

I've now tested this one 2-3 times and had high hopes for it. And although it is a very pretty scent, I will skip this one. It opens with a bright light cherry, which remains throughout, and then a nice soft and light sweet cake scent appears to complement it on the dry down. It is really nice, very light and carefree, definitely perfect for summer. If I got this for free or as a gift, I'd probably wear it on occasion, but I wouldn't spend money to get it.

My issue is that it simply does not stand out, something is missing to make it striking. However, if you are looking for a very light, inoffensive scent that can work for year round, and can easily be worn in the office, this would fit.

EDIT: I ended up buying this one with points this Winter and I'm now completely in love with it. Maybe I had been trying too many perfumes that week, I don't know. It's not mind blowing but it is definitely special. It's a light, softly sweet comfort scent with no harshness that can be enjoyed from the moment it's sprayed on.

pearlbelle

So glad that I decided to try this, it's gorgeous! I can definitely see the similarities between this and La Petite Robe Noire, what gives Live Irresistible Delicieuse difference to that one, is that pastry note. LPRN was like a cherry wine, this one is more like a cherry cupcake.

rhaineclayton

I have been dying to get my nose on this!
I love the original EDP but I've held off buying because the notes in this sound so much yummier.
Well, today I got to try both, side by side.
The original is the winner for me. I think this one is lovely, but the almond note seems a bit synthetic to my nose.
It also doesn't have the same vibrancy, as the original - this one smells flat by comparison.

genny17

Just got my bottle today, it is nice, but it isnt a love, I like the top notes, I detect some orange blossom, but it gets real pastry sweet real fast/./then the orris gives it a different twist, not crazy about that vibe..I just bought Valentina BLush which I like much better, I find it overall more grown up, and nore classy
Delicieuse isnt overdone, but it reminds of of an Escada perfume..if you like sweet scents, this is definitely a nice option., for me, I find it overpriced for what it is..

jackie.dawn

This perfume was a blind buy based on reviews. I returned it because it smelled powdery and musty, like old lady perfume. Sad because I had such high hopes with such yummy gourmand fragrance notes!

mandashell

Thought I'd love this based on reviews and notes but Nooo! Perfume smells cute and pretty but it's very light and soft. Doesn't leave an impact and doesnt give me that itch to wear it. Mild cherry, mild sweetness a bit of nuts and flowers and that's it.Lasting power as others have stated was good but it doesn't smell great. :(

Overall, everything about it is mild and rather boring. Costing $90+ neither this or LPRN Intense were worth the money. Ah well! It's going back!

kbord777

I think it's safe to say if you like almonds, you'll love Délicieuse.

My first thought after spraying was, 'Oh yum! Cherry turnovers!' It stays that way for about twenty minutes. Then it turns into a pleasant, buttery, semi sweet almond scent, with hints of rose, vanilla, and orris.

Sillage is soft and longevity is excellent. All in all, a charming scent.

craftymaya

Gourmand fragrances lovers, you will probably enjoy this one IF:
1- you like cherry (even though the blast of "artificial" cherries disappears within minutes)
2- you are ready for a very NUTTY creaminess dominant dry down.
Very nutty but LOVE it.

Projection: Good!

Longevity: excellent.

Expensive buy (over $90 + not so cute bottle), so you better know what you really like and what you are looking for!

Arielrose

I had high hopes for this fragrance and was intrigued enough by the notes and reviews on fragrance sites that I blind bought it right away. I also have loved Givenchy scents for many years and love all the 'Irresistibles' including the original Live Irresistible.
I was pretty disappointed with this new 'Delicieuse' version, mostly because I can't detect the bulk of the notes that others say they are getting. I've sprayed it on skin and on a card and there's no difference between what I am smelling. There is rose, some powdery notes, a little Orris - but I'm barely getting any of the Madeleine (pastry scent), the cherry, almond or caramel. I wouldn't really call this a Gourmand, because it doesn't have that quality - it's more of a sweet powdery rosey scent. It's pleasant and unoffensive, so would be fine for daily wear - but it just doesn't have anything special about it.
I also failed to get any compliments after 2 weeks of wearing it.
Contrast that to the tons of compliments I receive when wearing Viktor & Rolf's 'BonBon', YSL's 'Black Opium' or my original Givenchy 'Very Irresistible' - these are all scents that have that extra 'something' which gets them noticed to the point I have people asking where they can get it because they love it so much!
Pretty, but not amazing - beautiful bottle though! For the price, I'll be returning and getting something different.

Jillzilla

I tested this today at Ulta. At first sniff, it was lovely and not overpowering, not heavy at all, so I proceeded to spray myself quite liberally to make sure I would still get a good feel for the scent after I left the store, so 5 or 6 sprays across both wrists and forearms.

For 10 minutes, I felt like I was in a pastry shop! I could smell the pastry dough, custard, glazed fruits, almonds, vanilla, caramel...I was in heaven.

But...low and behold, the orris root took over on me. It is a note my skin chemistry sometimes struggles with, and when it doesn't work for me, it smells flat, woody, and a bit sharp. So my skin chemistry didn't agree with any part of the dry-down, until 4 hours later when I was reaching over a steaming pot while cooking dinner, and the heat and humidity instantly brought back to life the sweet smells of the pastry shop!

So I don't know...this might work better for me if I lived in a climate with hot, humid summers. I think it is beautiful and many people will feel comforted or uplifted while wearing it, provided they like sweet scents. I wish in this case that my skin was more compatible with the orris root note, because this is definitely a delicious scent!

blake.lee

Much nuttier than I imagined and maybe a touch yeasty. Smells like a mix of LPRN Couture and Black Opium to me. It's meh, not bad, not great. I don't really see it as a gourmand. It is sweet but not foody. It fits right in with current trends.

iamoir

Live Irrésistible Original is a fragrance that I quite like but I struggle with it a lot. Dominique Ropion's creations aren't always compatible with me, some of his a swear by, Jungle L'Elephant Kenzo and others are just bad, LVEB Lancome. Live Irrésistible Délicieuse seems to be rather a mih meh scent for me

French pastries? Well the perfume does smell like a cupcake, no worry for that. Generally Délicieuse is less sweet than its predecessor, more rounded, grapey and wine-like very gourmandise, nevertheless. There is something from Si Armani in here in serious doses.
Smells like sweet fruity wine, when you have the vanilla intensifying even more. But that's it! Maybe some caramelic notes here and there, but nothing major.

Suprisingly it is a rounded, bit powdery, little rosy before it starts fading from the skin, sweet scent. It doesn't fall even close to Poison Girl, and I'm not saying that in a bad meaning towards Delicieuse, they are just different blends; in the same family but different. You have more chances to confuse it with Si Armani than any other scent. Even its predecessor has a different drydown, one that is sinking in the skin rather than disappear.

I got a five hour wear out of it and I would live in a sweet cloud for that day. It's a run of the mill perfume; if you like your girly girl gourmands then it's a blind-buy

Daria_21

Received this yesterday from Sephora Canada; gotta love their VIB Rouge 2 day shipping! Of course, because it's not available in stores yet (at least where I live), it was a blind buy. It was a bit of a risky one, as I don't normally like Givenchy fragrances - there's just something about them that doesn't really sit right on my skin. However, the notes really got me, and alas, as soon as I received it, I ripped it open immediately and sprayed a few sprays on myself.

It's lovely! It doesn't quite sing gourmand to me in the true sense of the word, though it does have the characteristics. To my nose, it's a predominantly cherry, orange blossom and vanilla scent, really beautiful and not cloying in the least. Can't say I smell much almond. When I think almond, I immediately think Hypnotic Poison, and this doesn't have that aura of toasted almonds. Actually, it quite reminds of Dior Poison Girl eau de parfum, which I own and love. They're not the same fragrance, but they're in the same vein. They both share the same warm, orange blossom richness that is just divine. Délicieuse is warm, sweet, feminine and very chic indeed - my husband likes it, too.

Projection is moderate to heavy for the first half hour or so, then settles down to a moderate arm's length. I got wafts of this all evening - I applied it around 4 pm, and it was still going strong around 9 pm. I wore it again this morning, so am eager to see how it performs throughout the day. I can smell it right now, and I'm enjoying it.

As we know, scent is so subjective and personal. However, if you're a fan of warm, sweet, vanilla, orange blossom scents with a heavy dose of delicious cherry, I would say that you can't go wrong in blind buying this one. I'm very happy to add it to my collection, and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it. Just beautiful.

Edit:

Now that I've properly worn this for a few days, I have to say I like it, but I don't love it. I sprayed Poison Girl on one wrist and Delicieuse on the other, and I much prefer Poison Girl. Much richer, more buttery, much more complex and with more depth. Poison Girl is also sweeter, and more gourmand to my nose. I don't know. I'll keep Delicieuse in my collection - it's pleasant and inoffensive, but it doesn't make my top 5.

lizzyshreds

Also Ulta has the 50ml for $89.

lizzyshreds

Just so everyone knows this is available at Sephora online in the USA for $105 for 75ml.

OlfactoryLover

Yesterday we received this fragrance in store along with a number of other new fragrances (JPG Superman, Nina Luna, Horizon EDP etc.) so I was testing them all out on my skin and comparing the sillage and longevity against Tom Ford's Black Orchid I had on 10 minutes before. When I first sprayed Live Irresistible Delicieuse I am taken back by the gorgeous gourmand notes of Cherry, Almond and Caramel. Nothing synthetic smelling going on here, you can tell the oils used are the highest quality. It has similar comparability to Guerlain's LPRN Couture and YSL's Manifesto, however Givenchy remains classy and never veers too far into the sickly sweet category.

So this morning I woke up, had a shower and got ready for work and low and behold I can still smell Givenchy clear as day on my wrist! Poor Tom Ford disappeared last night but this wonderful fragrance is still clinging on for dear life. Super impressed with both sillage and longevity and as for the scent itself I have to say I am loving this too.

cmagjo04

Cherry. Almond. Vanilla. Battenberg cake.
Delicious!!

Strongest notes being the cherry and almond for me at first, changes to more of a vanilla / battenberg cake then back to cherry notes through the day as it progresses.
A definite winner for the gourmand lovers. Not QUITE as strong as the original live irresistible, however a few sprays packs alot of power.
I'll be wearing this in the late summer/autumn evenings

knotslandinggirl

At last I have found a cherry almond vanilla scent that I adore this a heaven edible gourmandise scent well done Givenchy.

Although there is a cup cake element to it,the cherry and almond are the two main notes that dazzle this fragrance, and the vanilla backdrop sparkles!

Yes I love Battenberg cake, and yes this smells like this, but boy I came home from work after sampling this, and my husband could not contain himself,I literally have to get this,as ladies and gents this will get you compliments from everyone,as I found, because the longevity and projection is perfect,it will not fill a room but it will make people stop and wonder at such an edible sweet smell.

I do not do overly sweet but I love cherry and almond,Givenchy have made such a good seller....well for me,as I did not really take much interest in the other Live irresistible fragrances.

This is such a fun loving fragrance that will lift your mood.....and will make others swoon!

Berta15

PERFECT!
It's very parisian very chic, sexy, absolutely sweet scent, very sweet. This version is like Poison Girl + LPRN + Live Irresistible edp. Why?
Because the opening is just extraordinary bitter with lof of almond and cherry and I can feel the french pastries smell which is a "dusty"? bitter-sweet smell. After 5min. the middle notes start to pop out and make the whole composition light and fresher. There is just a hint of rose and a very lovely orange-blossom scent, which is incredible but it stays sweet.
The dry down is still sweet and there is the caramel, vanilla and bitter almond. The vanilla make this scent fluffy and the caramel is like burnt sugar(in a veeery good way) and the bitter almond is like marzipan. And there is a point when I feel that the dry down is like the mother scent with cherry-almond accord in it(but it just me).
But all in all is just very fun, seductive very chic, happy scent, for a happy girl/woman who love live. It's 100% in the Live Irresistible family and I love every single version. This version it's like a vanilla-almond cake with cherry cream and next to you is a bouquet of fresh orange-blossom and of course in Paris.
I absolutely recommend it.The sillage is heavy and the longevity is veeeery long lasting.
The bottle is again very lovely with the bright deep pink bottom.I have to say that is perfect for fall/winter and early spring.
I love it and I live irresistible with this gorgeous sweet scent.Looooooove iiiiiit

shannonwheeler05

Every note here looks amazing!!!!

Dina_Saeed

I love the original live irresistible, can't wait to know how this one smells like

lizzyshreds

Oh my!!! This looks great for gourmand lovers. Most likely I will be getting this one!
