First of all, this fragrance smells like christmas. Moreover, in europe there are stores that sell expensive top of the line home decor items and the stores smell just like this fragrance. If you want to smell like an expensive luxury candle, there you go! I am not saying this in a bad way, in fact it is blended perfectly and very addictive, you just can’t get enough of it. It has a strong vibe of parfums de marly oajan and refined nish version of thierry mugler pure tonka. It is not as sweet as these fragrances. As a matter of fact, it has just a little sweetness It becomes creamier after an hour or so and could easily say it is a semi gourmand scent. I also get strong cinnamon smell.
Whoever named this fragrance made a huge marketing mistake in my opinion. They could have named it simply “spice.”
This is not a playful night out or some clubbing fragrance. It has a class and maturity to it. This is a perfect fragrance for businessmen who is educated and wear expensive suits with rolex on his arm.
Performance is great. It lasts about 12-13 hours and at least 3-4 hours of good projection.

Strictly for those who always wanted a more refined spices and coffee elixir than Pure Havane or Pure Coffee from Mugler. Add in quite a few other gourmand leaning concoctions from many other perfume makers. With the cloying nature of many of the aforementioned, what the wearer is afforded is now the chance to really study and enjoy the interplay of the cardamom, bergamot (not mentioned in the pyramid) cedarwood and coffee, with no one ingredient dominating or pushing out the others. This is enchanting stuff, with a degree of sensual satisfaction not usually found in similar perfumes. So good in fact it provides a sense of calmness amid the deft melding of the constituent spices and fruits.
9/10 .....if they come out with a pure parfum version then could see a 10/10 for sure.

From the Spice collection, this is the perfume that I find most versatile. It feels like a refined chai latte with a sweetness that softens after a few minutes. Despite the warm spices, I see it perfectly suitable for high temperatures, as it has a point of freshness (slightly sweet), perhaps because of star anise.
Good longevity and sillage.
Indian Spice does not take me to India, but to the most fancy coffee shop in a cosmopolitan city, but for me it's fine as I'm not on extreme adventures

Since I can't seem to find any other place to post a new fragrance from Ermenegildo Zegna here is it: Madras Cardamom, created by Marie Salamagne. It is a new addition to their essenze line, that is being relaunched in slightly smaller bottles, 100 ml instead of 125 ml. Just the price remains the same... An intriguing Oriental fragrance worth the try. Currently available at Harrods, in London.

Crushed by an astonishingly punchy, deep-brewed, rich-reddy-brown, fiercely spiced, overwhelmingly sweet cup of chai.
No actual black-tea note, and weirdly I get loads of vanilla, which isn't even listed. Cardamom, coriander and anise all formidably present and correct. So sweet it's almost creamy and almost alarmingly strong on both sillage and projection. Like any Bollywood movie it goes on longer and stronger than you might believe possible - one smallish spray on the back of one hand still making its presence very much felt on me all day. Almost nothing survives prolonged contact with me for that long. But I've met my match, clearly. This is so assertive it very nearly cloys - imagine, if you dare, a much more butch and near-masc version of Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant without the mango - that's where this one lives. Or if you've ever tried Jacomo Art Collection 02, wanting to smell like a real cup of chai, and liked its aura but been disappointed with its weak longevity - Zegna Indian Spice is THE ANSWER. In great big Bollywood style flashing lights with a scary amount of gusto. It's big and loud and intense and lovely is what I mean.
No apologies whatsoever about living up to its name and done with real class as well as nearly-aggressive enthusiasm. It's overall too sugary for me and would be way too much on hot/humid days - don't think I could deal with it, or keep up with its whirling energy - but as a fiercely robust winter warming scent it's seriously impressive. True unisex for those who can deal with this much sugar & spice, but not at all ladylike and overall far more macho than I expected. A proper extravaganza and a genuine sizzler!

What an piece of art in this beautiful bottle..
Little bit spicy, sweet, dusty-caramelish smell that you'll have never enough of - trust me - once you sniff the cap, you got the feeling that you must own it.

Very limited edition, that was only available for purchase online. No sample vials or testers available in stores. Discontinued.

This smells exactly like North Indian Khoya Barfi, which is a cardamom milk cake made of cream cheese.
