DKNY Be Tempted Eau So Blush by Donna Karan is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. DKNY Be Tempted Eau So Blush was launched in 2016. Top notes are Magnolia, Blood Orange, Red Currant and Pink Grapefruit; middle notes are Peony, Jasmine and Cedar; base notes are Apricot, Musk and Woody Notes.

Immediately after presenting the new DKNY Be Tempted fragrance from DKNY Be Delicious collection, Donna Karan launches its somewhat softer edition DKNY Be Tempted Eau So Blush. DKNY Be Tempted symbolizes a juicy and tempting red apple, while DKNY Be Tempted Eau So Blush presents its floral-woody interpretation. Both are advertised as sexy and feminine fragrances for confident women.

DKNY Be Tempted Eau So Blush allegedly possesses a combination of notes that is more modern, bolder and stronger in relation to the refreshing debut of the collection from 2004. Invigorating top notes combine pink grapefruit, magnolia, red currant and red orange. A heart of playful peony, sensual jasmine and cedar wood melts into a base of creamy woods, apricot and solar musk.

The face of the advertising campaign is model Abbey Lee Kershaw. The bottle of the standard oval shape and design is available in soft pink with a metallic cap. The fragrance is available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Pretty, airy, fresh, dry, floral.

I can't smell a particular floral, it's a bit of everything, citrus but not, woody but not woody, it's cool, and clean

bbgail01

This is not a super unique fragrance.
I quite liked the perfume, specifically the freshness that occurs as a result of the floral/citrus combination, but it is nothing super special. Although I like it, it reminds me of very generic (cheap) celebrity scents because of the musky base.
I was very surprised by the lasting power! 7 hours in and I can still smell it quite clearly on clothing, only about 5 hours on the skin. The base notes really warm up on the skin, whereas the floral and citrus surrounds you and emanates from clothes.
Overall, It is fun and youthful in an early 2000s way, without being super dated. Though, I would love a more modern version of this since I am not a huge fan of the musk.

Pretty safe scent to me, almost generic. I like that it has peony, magnolia and jasmine in the notes, as well as blood orange, red currant and pink grapefruit to add in some tartness. I'd consider it a dumb reach if only the bottle wasn't a bit challenging to hold. Good as an everyday scent or when you need a boost in your day.

This one was gifted to me so I had no idea of what it smelled like when I got it. Once I smelled it I hated it. My 17 yo self thought that its scent was meant for grandmas. Nevertheless, 4 years later I decided to give it a chance and realized it smells AWESOME.

It's very femenine and I find it quite seductive. Many girlfriends complimented it. It's soft but long lasting. Very unique.

Now I want to get another bottle. LOVE IT!

Let temptation tempt you as a soft woody scent blend with fresh florals in a playful fragrance.

Safe, floral, pretty standard if I'm honest. Was gifted a bottle, wouldn't purchase it again for myself.
Takes me to: Sitting on the porch. It's an "ok" spring day and I'm drinking lemonade. Feeling pretty bored.
Dry down: Jasmine, hints of musk

Im surprised there is no vanilla in this perfume. It starts off sweet perhaps too sweet, more of a floral fragrance. Longevity id say is about 3-4 hours, ok scent, wouldnt repurchase.

I've decided to wear this more often and decide whether I like it or not, and I learned two things about it:

1.) It's longevity/sillage is better than I thought it was.
2.) It smells like Swedish Fish. I'll expand on these two points below.

After getting up around 7 and spraying it on my neck and arm joins, it lasted until 5:30 and was strong enough to be felt by my best friend said "you smell like Swedish fish. That's a good thing.", which honestly weirded me out at first but...as I smelled the collar of my shirt more I realized...it kinda did?

Grapefruit is very prominent in this Be Delicious flanker, with peony being in the second place and apricot holding a bronze trophy...at least to my nose. Very girly and watery, and sweet too apparently. It's quite good for almost any occasion, from school to a picnic date, you name it. It's not especially unique, I'll give admit it, but it's gotten me compliments from people who have never said anything about my perfumes (and I wear them everyday, lol).

I think it's starting to grow on me :)

Not my usual scent pick if I’m honest, but I was gifted this one. It sat in the gift bag for a little while until the curiosity got to me and I cracked it open.

It opens fairly fresh, but the the dry-down happens quite quickly to me and has a bit of a lipsticky scent to it, which I assume is from the jasmine. I will say my mom really likes this one on me and has sniffed me multiple times whilst I’m wearing it.

I agree with some of the previous reviews - it doesn’t last very long and it is a generic, sweet floral but I think that’s sort of the appeal of the whole DKNY apple line anyway. The line still exists today with its mass-appealing, easy going scents at a giftable price point.

That being said, quite honestly, I like it. It’s nice, sweet and safe floral and not too overpowering and is perfect for when you don’t want to start a conversation about your scent. I definitely think that it’s a safe gift for anybody who is into a floral perfume and isn’t a fragrance enthusiast.

just mehh... not lasting power, not special. Nice light fragrance though.

Be tempted eau so blush
Summer test, a few sprays to skin

Starts off Like most of these dkny apples.
It’s a freshie, bit of fruit here and there, some florals, nothing you can put your finger on.

This goes fresh, cool, dry, woody on me after an hour. It’s lasting string still, I am three hours in very noticeable.

For me this would be a layering scent

Just tried this at a Kohl’s near me. I’m going to say I really “liked” it, that’s about it. It’s a fruity floral that would be great for summer....just be careful bees don’t go chasing you, lol. It’s a close to skin scent, doesn’t scream out on your skin, kinda just sits there. The musk is the best thing about this fragrance, of course synthetic. This in my 55 year old opinion is suited for a young girl more like my teenage daughter. Well, I did break down and buy it for my daughter and Kohl’s did have a sale on it. I probably will wear it in the hot humid weather when I travel to Florida ( heading to Disney) perfect right! I’m usually a niche perfume buyer but because I call myself a fragrance collector(over 150 bottles in my collection), I’m equal opportunity to all levels of perfume.

I haven't tried this yet to see if it blends well with my chemistry, but just smelled this on someone... and it is fabulous!

Can't wait to try this myself - and see how it blends with my chemistry!

I liked this perfume in the first few minutes. I'm not a peony fan but the red currant and citrus notes compliment it well. These notes cut off the frillyness. The result is still romantic but it's zesty too. The jasmin note is well balanced and I like the musk. I became dissapointed after the perfume dried down. The red currant and citrus didn't last so it left me with a flat, musky peony scent. This reminds me of a body splash I once tried years ago. Too bad! It's not for me.

pearlbelle

I was quite literally TEMPTED to try this out by its beautiful rosey bottle. Not tried the original Be Tempted, but its notes aren't really up my fragrant alley, but upon reading the notes to this new one, I figured I would give Eau So Blush a try. (I nearly thought it was a new Marc Jacobs flanker upon seeing the 'Eau So' part). It smells seriously similar to pretty everything else in the DKNY Be Delicious line, I'm certainly not saying that it's a bad perfume, but I just found it to be your average floral fruity. Not much left to the imagination with this, but still pleasant, just not anything new or exciting.

ScarlettX

Just like lulu169 predicted in the first review for this fragrance, it's generic and boring.
It's floral, not the nicest kind and very unimpressive.
Most of those flankers have been really awful. This one isn't the worst, but it's easy to forget about it.
I can't say much about notes, it seems to be apricot and floral notes.

iamoir

Citrusy and sweet right of the bat, floral; you know you smelled this thang already in a lot of girly perfumes, floral generic. Don't get high hopes for peony and jasmine... Definitely fresh, has the cucumber note somewhere, some apple too?
Girly, watery, boring, innocent. Donna Karan is making perfumes for 5 year olds now. And since L'EAUX are all the rave now, (thanks to Chanel) you will be offered extra-diluted perfumes. Wait for the drydown which has the toilet cleaner water note intensified way too much with a lipsticky accord.

A no from me

Arlene-Beatrix

Soft fruity scent with a lot of apricot and red currant. I like it but it's a bit nauseating like many apricot or peach scents.

ashypie2004

Pure fruit body spray from Wal-Mart. The kind that 11 year olds like. No thanks.

Jasminalia

Donna, please, stop releasing these f.....g flankers.
It seems they're made by robots. Anyway, it's impossible to follow.
Normally, luxury means quality not quantity.

Michelle12345678

Where is this? Does anyone actually have this? I can't find it anywhere.

jilli

DKNY now has 58 flankers of apples in their arsenal. I have the original one and I once tested another version that I liked. I never noted the name down. And I am not about to sift through over 50 bottles of apples in the stores to find that one. The apple flankers are verging on obsessive compulsion. Can you please do something else now? Like even moving on to pears would be a breath of fresh air at this point.

lulu169

Sounds pretty generic. Boring. Im done with collecting DKNY apples.
