Takes me back to when the gypsies sold real violet posies in spring on the streets of Bath in the '50's. Love it. Love violets. Doesn't last that long on me, or maybe it messes with my sence of smell as violets can do that as they were once used as a strewing herb for disguising bad smells on the floors of churches.

i got this by accident when i ordered the pink one. they sent this by mistake. u can't imagine the depth of my disappointments - i was looking forward excitingly for a sweet tropical praline goodness and got this ozonic fresh masculine non sweet weak nondescript 'scent' which i would describe as a perfect scent for a lesbian or a tomboy girl. not for me, sorry not sorry. I'm sending it back
PS: as fot the scent itself: it's screechy, masculine and the notes don't harmonize even though they are all recognisable - especially the violet leaf and galbanum with some green apple and magnolia hiding in the background. the dry down is all about the iris with some styrax and lightly patchouli. but it's very very weak with very weak sillage so u have to sniff your skin closely to detect something at all. there's is no point in owning this scent

I'm a violet whore. If it's purple and smells of violet, I'm in there quicker than a rat up a drainpipe! I must have at least 30 different versions of violet top noted perfumes - some expensive, some cheap. This sits up there with Berdoues de Voilette - one of my favourite of French violet variety. I had my head turned by the Be Delicious range with their Maccaron (mmmmmmmmmmm) I admit to falling in love with any shiny shiny bottle with a sparkly lid which is why I've not given this brand a second glance. I digress. This opens with an explosion of violet and Iris. The sillage is MASSIVE; husband walked into the room when I'd just sprayed this and mocked coughing. I'm waiting for the full dry down and other notes to arrive - this is literally a brand new blind buy. I'm not disappointed and if you love violet, then you'll love this too.

violet is beautiful as soon as you spritz it, but the drydown is a little too powdery for my taste. still a nice scent and a beautiful bottle.

please give me a break...I used to love and collect those DKNY apples...but they ruined it by doing too many too quicky in too bad Quality and unoriginality....since then I refuse even to try any more of them....just let this melk cow die finally!!! it´s so nineties anyway....
