I can see how others may be tired of the iterations of this, but this is my first Dior regular line fragrance, and this is a beast. A great first introduction. Signature scent worthy, Fruitchuli fragrance. I personally love the woody base. I smell feminine but not super dainty. It’s not groundbreaking, and it smells like a more powerful Attrape Reve. The initial spray is my favorite. It lasts all day.

Dior is special for me. Miss Dior EDP 2021 is my signature scent. I still need to discover perfume which agrees with me better than Miss Dior EDP 2021. Whenever I am in the store trying new perfumes, I will always try MD EDP 2021. I just can’t have enough of this perfume! Well, one day I THOUGHT I was about to try it, as I noticed, it is not EDP but just Parfume! Hmmm, did they make it in a higher concentration?! I sprayed and IMMEDIATELY was repulsed and hoped that MFK did not take over Dior! It reeked of MFK hairspray. Imagine my sadness when I read that MFK did indeed take over Dior house. Buy-buy Dior. I need to stock up on MD EDP 2021 while it is still available and Vanilla Diorama.

As for Miss Dior Perfume, if I had to compare it, I would compare it to Absolutely Blooming, only I like AB more as it does not give me a hairspray vibe.

Now I am afraid, Dior will be moving towards synthetics. Cheap synthetics. 🥲

sandman80

The bottle is too cute for the masculine perfume inside.

Milk0628

This is my first review at Fragrantica. I was trying J’adore Parfume d’Eau at Dior counter two weeks ago but found it was beautiful but a bit too basic and too shampoo-like. Then I spotted very girly pretty decant next to J’adore and sprayed over the blotter card ( Btw, that blotter is also so pretty!) and was drawn instantly. It’s juicy, fresh but somehow deep and sweet. I put the blotter into my husband’s chest of drawers and forgot about the blotter till today. Today I open the drawer and oh my….. it’s still so potent and lovely!!! Even my 7yrs old boy ( he has a good maybe better nose than me!) told me “mum this smells so yummy and beautiful”. Luckily my birthday is coming soon and I’ll buy this beauty for treats for myself!!

lindstb

Yikes. Herky jerky screechy mess on my skin. Also agree with the people saying that it smells masculine… and STRONG. Nauseating. Please don’t disrespect coco mademoiselle by comparing her to this. Really wish I didn’t douse myself in this at Ulta right before heading to a small family party 😆 It smelled pretty enough on the strip 🤷🏻♀️

When my husband leaned in for a kiss, he said I “smell like perfume”. Never said that before

LOST_HORIZON

Miss Dior Parfum is a blend of strawberries, patchouli and amber. It does have memories of Coco Mademoiselle and also of My Burberry Black (at least the latter is created by the same perfumer). If you like chic strawberries you will love it, but after 10 minutes run as if you were in the Boston Marathon because if you don't like patchouli there is a lot of patchouli here... I like it, because in the same fragrance I get a quality fun and playful with a dark elegant quality. Strawberry and patchouli lovers, here is a perfume that will pleasantly delight you.

Soadeperfumada

Please indicate a fragrance that is just the opening of this one.

judearose123

I love this one so much. I have a large collection of sweet florals and this one is one of my absolute favorites. It’s very syrupy and sweet in the opening due to the apricot, but it dries down to a warm woody sweetness that I can’t get enough of. The wild strawberry note is so realistic, there’s something green blended in, nothing like the tart ripe strawberry in Mon Paris by YSL. I’m so glad the perfumers didn’t add a rose note, it’s refreshing to have a Dior fragrance that doesn’t lean towards baby powder in the dry down. To me, this smells like a mysterious Parisian woman out shopping at CHANEL and LV in the spring/summer time, holding a latte in her manicured hands. I can’t decide if it’s sexy or not, the amber & patchouli in the deep dry down may lean a little sultry but overall, this is an elegant woman out running errands in the sunshine. I don’t think it would work for a night out clubbing at all, but I also wouldn’t wear it to church. As for performance, this is how a parfum concentration should perform. I sprayed my wrist a few times several hours ago and I’m still getting strong whiffs of the sweet strawberry/jasmine combo. Highly recommend for spring summer, 10/10.

meriion

After two hours of wearing it, I like it but it’s not for me, and I don’t understand why it’s in such a cute pink bottle, it just doesn’t fit. To me, it feels like a perfume that a witch living in the forest would wear.

marietangerine

I think this is very nice for cooler weather. I get syrupy berries and a woody patchouli. There’s that nice apricot and amberwood warmth underlining the sweet wild strawberry. It reminds me of Absolutely Blooming but with more body. It’s a like not a love, and I do think it’s overpriced (like every other designer frag these days), but if you like Dior perfumes you’ll probably like this. Longevity is about 6-7hrs and projection is moderate.

Florind

SuzanneS

Layers well with Amouage Guidence. They seem to fill in each other's shortcomings.

KingKaris

This gives me a terrible headache in the back of my head. A rough sharp floral.

jess_27

For anyone truly looking for a Miss Dior Cherie, dupe I am talking about the 2005-2009 versions than try Chloe Nomade eau de parfum. It's way more similar to Miss Dior Cherie than the 2024 Miss Dior Parfum and lasting longevity is better.

MareaCamacho

This one pulled very "Sofia Vergara's Sofia" on me.

Also coco mademoiselle

Both are patchouli heavy .

Any and all patch fragrances esp with a buttload of fruit notes tend to smell overwhelming on me. Fruitchouli is not for me. At some point they smell the same on me.

The only patchouli I can stomach is the regular degular essential oil patchouli. Never in a fragrance.

HARD PASS ON THIS ONE

Meli567

I don't want to oversimplify and call this Coco Mad. But it's pretty much Coco Mad. I don't detect any strawberry. I get something a bit syrupy but really I smell a ton of patchouli and wood. If you don't like woody shit, don't buy this. I'm not one to put an age limit on scents but I think this is for a 30+ crowd. It's refined.

MonaMaybe

Testing this now and I find it so lovely. On my skin it sings. To me the patchouli is light and slightly spicy- reminiscent of fragrance memories from the 1980's. Typically fruity florals are too sweet for me, and this strikes a balance of being a tiny bit sweet but also clean and also interesting.

CharlieR3

Tested on paper and from the bottle.

This parfum definitely has the Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming DNA, both feel very close once dried.

I like it because Absolutely Blooming is a 10/10 for me, but this fragrance doesn't feel original. An unnecessary reformulation.

Kurkdjian did it wrong this time.

cutsie587

I tested this perfume today and quickly did not like it at all. It smells good from the bottle, but on my skin, after two minutes, the bottom notes of patchouli and moss is all I smelled. UGH. The fruit is fleeting. And that quick dry down is relentless. I had to scrub to get it off and it still hung on. You will get your monies worth. One spray is forever dirty moss and patchouli. A huge pass for me.

mte

Why do they keep changing this fragrance??? This one is a NO for me.

Lulylovesperfumes

I bought this for my Mother’s Day gift. The opening is as described, fruity floral which on my skin lasts for about an hour. Then these feminine notes dissipate and turns into another FKJ creation, Narciso Rodrigues for Her. I compared them side by side and they both have the same guy’s cologne, woodsy, musc that I struggle with to the point of inducing me a headache. I gravitate towards feminine and elegant fragrance profiles. It also hace a dirt note that reminds me of Mugler Angel and Petite Robe Noir Intense. I found that strange, almost like an attempt to be niche. In conclusion safe blind buy if enjoy NR for Her and or Donna Valentino Born in Roma. To me it’s a resounding NO, I’ll gift it to someone else.

BarbieLongIsland

I’ve only smelled the tester strip but I plan to purchase a full bottle. It smells amazing! - and it reminds me of Hanae, Mori Eau de Collection N° 8 which is a fave. I’m just hoping the drydown doesn’t smell as masculine on me as the Hanae Mori. I’ll update my review as soon as I get my bottle! I’m hopeful, as the tester strip smells lovely!

Update: I received my full bottle, and firstly, as pretty as it is, I was surprised that it’s made out of plastic.
The scent itself only smelled as lovely as the tester strip for the first minute or so, then it immediately reminded me of a man wearing cologne leftover from the night before. I didn’t even have to wait for the dry down for this. Unfortunately, I returned it. At least with Hanae Mori Eau de Collection N° 8, I got several hours of wear before the masculine ending.

Miss Dior Parfum (2024)
(Store test, paper test)

Another Beautiful Amber-floral fragrance with in classic composition floral/patchouli/amber.

This carried on the patchouli that Dior love to use, the clean one but slight amp up the earthiness. Maybe with tint of oakmoss. Oakmoss in this hard to distinguish maybe because of strong amberwood base.

Floral bouquet in this petty much reminds me of CoCo Madmosielle Intense. I feel that one is more beautiful as it is not heavy in Amber and magic of Aldehyde make scent more fresh.

I have hard time call this floral-chypre, the sweet modernwood amber base slightly strong and it is not heavy on Balsumic. Maybe will age better with time.

Still 8/10 even I think that Sweet Modern Amberwood is strong but I believe this will perform extraordinarily.

liquidangel

very disapointing, smells like someone is talking to you with bad breath and cheap floral perfume.

aesthetic_k

Looking forward to test this for a while and finally tried it today just to find out that this is such a disappointment 😭 It opens very fruity then slowly becomes sweeter and sweeter (very artificial sweetness) 🍭 I do not detect any strawberry nor patchouli at all ❌ While i was expecting this to be a fruity, ambery, chypre fragrance, miss dior parfum is extremely generic, boring, and forgettable on my skin. Nothing reminiscence of the 2012, 2017, or the le parfum which i really enjoy before they were all discontinued and this has zero similarity to coco mademoiselle in my opinion 😢 Even the 2021 eau de parfum is a lot better than 2024 parfum to be honest. Totally not worth the money as you can find many body mists that have similar vibes to this 😭

Perfumeluva1744

I was excited to get this on sale during the Sephora sale. This smells similar to LV Attrape-Reves, but I enjoy LV more. The dry down of this one is masculine. Sadly, I returned it within a week of purchasing. Try before you buy.

barry1052

The comparison with LV attrape-reves is spot on!! I’m happy with it 😂 as miss Dior Parfum is so much cheaper.

Love the patchouli dry down asked my work bestie to blind test this perfume she said it smells so masculine LOLL she was so shocked after I told her it’s the new miss Dior ~

Mez0Nez

This is quite similar to Miss Dior Extrait de Parfum, so that is why this is similar to La petit Robe Noire of Guerlain.

Zombie Apocalypse

Smelled this for the first time today. I commented to SA that it smells like the previous rendition of Miss Dior. I can tell she was annoyed with my comment, and she strongly disagreed. I then said "not the one with the Lily of Valley version but the 2019 version." Oi!! So bloody confusing.... I feel like I was explaining a totally foreign concept, that every rendition is called Miss Dior and they all smell almost identical! So new or not... this is not original and definitely not for me. I move on!

alyssarware

To me it just smells like the last Miss Dior with strawberry added, I don't get the patchouli and it doesn't come off masculine. It reminds me of Flowerbomb Nectar but lighter

The dry down kinda reminds me of Lush Sex Bomb bath bomb, like a powdery chalky sweet thing

HunniBoo

I hate the opening on initial spray I get cleaning products screechy vibes. Few minutes later it’s starts to sweeten up. It’s pretty but it reminds so much to attrape-reves by Louis Vuitton. I don’t think I need to own both.

Justinaboo

I have to say I kind of regret buying this. The opening smells lovely, sweet and fresh but the drydown is bitter, scratchy and dirty. As my skin amps up sweet notes, the drydown smells fine on my actual skin but it smells foul in my hair and clothes. I can't avoid perfume getting in my hair unless I don't spray my upper body because my hair is long and it's hard to avoid getting it on sleeves and the neckline of clothes. I've washed my hair and the dress I was wearing twice and I can stil detect that dirty drydown. I like patchouli but the combination with the cedar and moss makes the drydown quite unpleasant.

Odd because the couple of times I've worn this fragrance other people have complimented it. Not sure if that's because it's much stronger than the fragrances I usually wear or because the bitter drydown isn't detectable to others.

LEM922

When I first sprayed this I immediately got patchouli. I was so scared, because it’s not my favorite note at all but to my surprise, and gratitude, it dispersed almost immediately and I was left with this sweet strawberry scent. The amberwood followed soon after. This smells really good, and the lasting power is definitely there. I can see how some people would say this is basic or nothing special, but its smells really nice. I wouldn’t be mad if I received this as a gift, not at all.

jaehyuns

i wanted to love this but it has that same very bitter dry down that i absolutely cannot stand. it’s slightly sweeter than the og miss dior but they both share the same scent profile

Estacey3

I hate the ongoing butchering of the Miss Dior line. Each decade's Miss Dior and flankers have nothing to do with the previous. It's infuriating. And why are they all confusingly named and renamed? Who thought this was a good idea? This version is fruity berry hairspray (as an earlier reviewer hit the nail on the head). I don't get woody, I get sickly sweet and sour, too girly, too expensive for this Victoria's Secret body spray. Yes, I am bitter and resentful.

shaeri87

Mr. Kurkdjian is one of my favorite perfumers, and I have been a collector of Miss Dior's for many years. I think this version is very reminiscent of the Miss Dior's that came out in the 2010's, and also reminds me of Absolutely Blooming. What this also reminds me a lot of is, YSL Mon Paris, it has that same strawberry/patchouli combo. Miss Dior Parfum has very good projection and longevity, I get a solid 6 hours before it starts to dwindle down, and it lasts forever on clothes. I don't understand why the largest size has decreased to only 2.7oz/80ml though... why couldn't they stick with the standard 3oz/100ml? Is it because it is a Parfum concentration? Whatever the reason is, I'm not happy that every Miss Dior bottle I have is100ml, and now I have this smaller bottle... in any case, I still love the fragrance, just wish they could have been consistent with the amount you get.

NicoSuave

MFK makes his unmistakable mark with that fructose-hairspray thing he does. The opening is bright and apricotty-jam cheerful, but the semi-synthetic/thin-metallic way it finishes during the drydown (and worsens over time)… always a miss for me.

The notes are well-chosen but this is a missed opportunity to bring them up to the level your nose deserves.

Grade: D+
Quick take: MFK's amber-floral-jasmine hairspray

katiesimpsonhair

Finally I can dust off my soap & glory clean on me body wash and body butter now I have the proper Miss Dior back in my collection and wear them all together once again! Perfect combo . All had been lost when the last release came out but this new Parfum is everything and it gives me strawberries and cream vibes.

Lilia.Simone

a really sugary and feminine patchouli! i though i didn’t like it at first but overtime i’ve realised how nice it is and have to keep going back to my wrist to smell it <3

it goes from a strong strawberry and patchouli to a nice sweet woody scent.
it’s a perfume that gets lots of compliments and you can smell it as you move about your day 🤍

Elixa

Sweet woman's and masculine perfume having sex... There's some sweating involved.
Two become one...

JennifeRx

Dries down to LV Attrape Reves.

daisybrown

tuesday afternoon, post-dentist strawberry lollipop, pink ribbons, conservative talk radio

VirgowithLeo

Not bad (not sure about dry down)
But not my cup of tea

strokingmyguitair69

Very pretty, classy, beautiful, just like Natalie Portman. It’s just not recommended for patchouli haters. I love the fruity opening, everything about it.

Athena99

Patchouli bomb. Pass.

stella.cherie

If Miss Dior Cherie was living life in 5D, Miss Dior 2024 is life in 1D. A basic, hollow shell of its glorious predecessor with only the innocent sweetness that is reminiscent of MDC. It's insulting to even compare the two.

Princess__manatee

This is magic in a bottle, so reminiscent of the old miss dior Cherie, I get so many compliments when I walk into a room wearing this, reminds me of a spring evening in a Parisian garden - best iteration of miss dior for me

Olfactory Delight

Omg this is a hard pass!!! I am a perfume lover and it’s hard to disappoint me because I love anything that smells lovely and the 2 main no buenos for me are sharp metallic notes and headache inducing sweet notes and unfortunately I experienced both in this new release Miss Dior Parfum. I was so excited for this because I love MFK, I have a lot of his creations and the notes are right up my alley and I was going to blind buy this but thankfully decided to try this in Sephora. I was so surprised at how this turned sharp and metallic on my skin which turned into a headache inducing generic sweet mess of a scent. I absolutely dislike this perfume
and I would say this is not a safe blind buy.

Toocute39

This is too dam strong that’s all I got to say. Patchouli patchouli patchouli! I hate patchouli!

Bombalurina

Well I guess the patchouli lovers can be happy now..... I am not one of them however so I need to stock up on other versions

Just like Coco M Intense, A great scent ruined by the smell of dirt/patchouli ):

Elle's Bells

LOVELY!!!! I could not, for the life of me, get into Miss Dior...until I accidentally sprayed it on my wrist at Neiman's last month. I thought is was Absolutely Blooming. Anyways, while having dinner, I kept smelling the most fragrant fruity patchouli based scent. The server even said that I smelled pretty. Anytime I moved my arm I would just swoon. The strawberry is blended so well with the patchouli. Ooooh, it's so delightful!

Bought a FB the next day. This is a solid release and I'm happy to add it to my collection!

Michylaka

Body heat mama! I was not so sure about this one since the reviews were all over the place. But...I love Francis Kurkdjian. So I skin tested then went and bought a bottle.

Upon first spritz this one comes across as fruity, zesty and lush. And I definitely find it sweet. The Mandarin, Peach and Apricot have a very lovely harmony on the top. I also can smell the berries but they are not syrupy like in Mon Paris yet quite pronounced. I have never smelled wild strawberries so I cannot say how accurate this note is. But I like it.

Patchouli is very abundant after a few minutes and all the way through the drydown. It is beautiful if you are a Patchouli lover. I am most definitely one. I just can't get enough. This one is for us. The Patchouli clan.

Then in the heart there is something... an underlying character that has me entranced. I want to see where it goes. The sweetness starts getting toned down by a dusty sort of facet. I believe it is the Peach and Apricot nuanced by the Oakmoss. It is Earthy. And there is a luxurious type of vibe. I don't find it to be vintage per say but more like upscale bath shops. I love those places.

The Jasmine and florals I smell here at this point as well but they are accompaniments in the bouquet not the stars. The Amberwood and Amber in the heart come out in a stunningly smooth and warm way giving Miss Dior parfum a lot of sultriness. I did find that when I was moving about that my body heat caused a bit more projection. My husband said from across our very large great room. What is that you are wearing? I told him a new addition. He said it was ladylike and very sexy. I went and cozied up to him. He did say that he loved the Patchouli...so like I said if you love Patchouli this one may be for you.

As far as smelling like Miss Dior Cherie...I did not find it much like it really. This Miss Dior is more serious like a classy, older sister. One fragrance that I did find it reminded me of was Chloe Nomade. Not a dupe but similiar. I would say skin test first. I am glad to have this in my collection. A full bodied beauty no doubt!

Emera1d

A tiny, tiny bit sharp and very powdery floral. It doesn't smell like the Cherie from what I remember, and it doesn't smell like Mon Paris, as I don't detect any strawberries. To me it is a predominantly very powdery floral. I don't like it, but I don't dislike it either. I wouldn't wear it, but I think it would make a good gift. I honestly don't get what the fuss is about with the whole Miss Dior line. And the bottles all look kind of the same, which must be super confusing for people who really love one of them. It's almost like it was made on purpose to confuse customers.

DiscoPolga

This is a patch bomb! Dirty, earthy patchouli that lasts forever - I can still smell it on my wrist 15 hours after spraying. The opening is a nice fruity-floral, but patchouli really takes over. It's the kind of patchouli you can find in Fenty EDP, really strong and pronounced. This has NOTHING to do with the MDC or Coco Mademoiselle.

PIИК

At very first it opens as very sweet rounded and fruity and is feminine. But then! After about 40 minutes it starts transforming into a more masculine sweet ambery patchouli perfume and it keeps developing more and more masculine. Now it's been around 4 hours I've been wearing it and I'd really rather not. It isn't that the scent is bad, it is okay. But it's manly. I hate that. The scent overall isn't anything special and doesn't remind me of the 2017 version of Miss Dior either (I really loved that version, and was hoping there would be a resemblance but unfortunately there isn't). Ugh enough with the unisex trend in Perfumery already! This perfume may be marketed towards women but it isn't a feminine perfume.

floralfragrance

I see the resemblance. Cherie and those patchouli dry down versions all have a spesific warm musky feel to them (Oh how I miss the edt from 2013). This one also has it, but it’s almost like one of those versions got mixed with the new trendy voce viva, interdit, prada paradoxe type of synthetically sweet syrupy department store fragrances. The idea is nice, but it’s punching you almost headache inducingly. I’ll be waiting for an improved version of this: lighter, less sweet, maybe peach toned down a bit. Or, Dior can bring Cherie back and problem solved 🌸

Kpick89

This is my only introduction to any Miss Dior scents and was intrigued to purchase when I learned that Francis Kurkdjian worked on this one. I really enjoy it! If I spray too much, it gets stuck in the back of my throat, but it has lasting power. I like that it starts off feminine then throughout the day it turns almost cologne or maybe masculine leaning..? It has performance to say the least. Happy to have this on my shelf.

forvanityssake

Gorgeous.... I was prepared to hate this, since I'm loyal to the 2021 Miss Dior (my favorite perfume) and this lacks my signature rose note. But this is another case of love at first sniff for me!! On my skin, Miss Dior Parfum smells like an exact combination of Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming (my second favorite perfume), Coco Mademoiselle, and Flowerbomb. I'm a goner, I love all three so much!

MDP is a voluptuous scent, with the incredible juicy fruitiness of Absolutely Blooming, the elegance of Coco Mademoiselle, and the floral patchouli explosion of Flowerbomb. Highly recommended if you're a fan of those fragrances!

Richardko

Miss dior parfum je úplne krásna ženská vôňa určite krajšia modernejšie ako EDP ovocná a kvetinova bomba. Neporovnávajte vône nie každý ma štýl a vie čo je dobre 😂. Best od miss dior

Totalcrazys

I loved this on paper , then I sprayed it on my self and thought it was disgusting , few days later I could still smell it on my sweater and I kept on sniffing the sleeve 😂🤦♀️ I came to a conclusion I actually like this . I ordered full bottle … I hope I won’t regret it

roanyoke

The opening is undeniably fruity and bubbly and delicious. The strawberry wasn't too prominent, but I felt like it added the perfect sweetness. The dry-down feels like a completely different story. The patchouli is overwhelming. After 10 minutes I abhor smelling my own wrist! My boyfriend loved it at first and then grew to dislike it. It broke my heart! something so lovely leaving so quickly...

bellaisafraghead

The pretty girl at your school smells like this.

Tuttoo

Er, ummm.... diplomacy fails me. I find this Miss Dior an awful mess. Maybe it is just me, but this one is loud, screechy and so very, very boring. I agree with previous reviewers that Cherie was so much more fun and that many of us would welcome her back with open arms...

Glyceryl

Pretty, classy, fruity patchouli scent.

I feel like I’ve smelled this before, though. I can’t figure out what it’s reminding me of (mind you I’ve never owned or tried any of the previous miss diors). I guess that should tell you that it’s nothing new or special.

Poisonmy1love

Sprayed it on a paper strip!
I liked it it was fruit-adult-sweet but after 10 min it reminded me very musch of Coco mademoiselle intense!
It became CMI. After 1 hours it had the same patcholi as in again CMI.
I have CMI that I never reach for.
Both is a little annoying.
I love Miss Dior EDP 2021.
I have tried all the Miss Dior perfumes. And I also wish they could bring back Cherie.

LuSlovakia

Exactly as @SpringClean bellow said, i tested it today and if i didnt know its new release, i would thought they have old expired bottle in store😳 and yes, it reminds me of Sofia Vergara's fragrance somehow, as some suggestions say.

SpringClean

For reference, I love the Miss Dior 2021, I like the sweetness of it, and I like Absolutely Blooming (now discontinued).
I expected to love Miss Dior Parfum, and blindbought it at full price from av verified seller.

Miss Dior Parfum is OK, but I'm not a fan.
For me, the wood is too prominent, it's not sweet at all, it feels watered down, it smells like it has been sitting on the shelf for ten years already, it smells like some of the older Miss Dior perfumes, which I didn't care for. For those missing Miss Dior Cherie - this is not it either. To me it has old lady wibes, honestly. Disappointed.

Bouquet Bleu

Owning already MD edp 2012 and Le Parfum, (+BB 2013 and EdT 2017) of course I had to try it.
It quite similar both to 2012 edp but less citrusy . Berry sweetness and patchouli straight forward. I wish it had more moss. So do I like it? Yes. Do I need it? Nope. Not interesting enough for Demachy and Francis K. Just another MD, not as bad as the previous ones though.

Adriennne

I do not like this perfume. To be honest, Miss Dior 2021 is better, IMO.
This doesnt smell like the Diors in 2012 for sure.
It smells like fruity perfume but thats all.
Pass.

Daisy Miller 7

very similar to Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Toilette 2012

wallywinthrop

herculano - That is an excellent point! I owned a bottle of Miss Dior Cherie back in the day when it came out when I was a young teenager, and there were remarks and complaints about the sharp, masculine nature of its patchouli at the time. To the point where it was immediately recognizable and not appreciated all the time. That said, it WAS a huge success, but scarcity has definitely played its role in its perception, I feel. If it were to come out again though, of course I would purchase!
I think this Miss Dior Parfum retains a bit of that patchouli sharpness, and it is definitely evident in Montale Rose Elixir. I find all the versions of Miss Dior interesting!

Tsatsenskaya

Smells like Miss Dior. My favorites in this line were Miss Dior 2012 edp and edt. I can find a bit of all versions here. The Cherie, the 2012 and 2017. Do I love it? Yes, it is stronger than me. I belong to a generation of women who wore Miss Dior and grew to feel very comfortable in it. I sprayed this latest release on and I felt immediately at home. It is its own perfume, but it belongs in the family.

herculano

i have not tested this.

i want to.

But i want to share a funny story which may help potential blind buyers make a decision, and have a realistic perspective while doing so.

I research perfumes heavily before i buy them. I spend hours… days… (even months) searching every review site. Its one of the reasons i buy older perfumes, because i can find a history of reviews to read.

So ive been reading the reviews here for MD Parfum with great interest, even though its a new release, because the notes are up my alley. And also because FK (who i am usually MEH about) made my top favorite perfume of all time, My Burberry Black. FK makes, in my opinion, more duds than he makes masterpieces. But MBB is a stone cold masterpiece in my book. This makes me hopeful that he can pull off another masterpiece to suit me, but i dont blind buy him anymore, because his track record is VERY BAD.

All of the above makes me very curious about this release.

(Follow me here. I am getting to the point)

Ive ALSO long been curious about Miss Dior Cherie, without any hope to ever buy it.

Okay so i went to Makeupalley which allows you to look up the oldest reviews first (i SO wish they had this option on fragrantica) to research Miss Dior Cherie, SPECIFICALLY the OLDEST reviews from 20 years ago when it was just released…

What did i find? They sound nearly exactly like the negative reviews here. Similar complaints, and the majority of reviews in the first 3 years were overwhelmingly negative. Complaints that it dried down masculine (people also say this about MBB, but i cant get enough of it, myself, and the compliments come pouring in every time i wear it) or that it smelled like cheap body spray from VS. Many went so far to say they were revolted by it.

Make of that what you will, because there are several different ways to see that. Maybe people are slow to recognize a masterpiece, OR maybe discontinuing a perfume warps perceptions of how good a perfume really is.

Its subjective, of course.

But yeah…just know… the famed Miss Cherie was HATED by most reviewers when it first hit the market. I was actually shocked at how negatively it was perceived in the beginning of its life.

Will we see the same type of trajectory for Miss Dior Parfum?

Only time will tell.

PS. I am 50 years old, love strawberry notes in perfumes, i love Mon Paris and Rose Elixir (both of which i own) (i DONT favor the HER burberry line, though) and i was NOT a fan of classics like the Miss Diors or Chanels until very recently.

MD Absolutely Blooming and Coco Mademoiselle Intense changed me.

Ugh, i might have to buy this Parfum, after all.

chimidoro

HELL NO.
Why do people love scents like this so much? I'll never understand.
I think they're just awful.
I ABHOR this type of fragrance.
TOO MANY scents of this ilk.
They ALL stink.

Fluffyandpuffy

Ah ha, now we’re back more in line with the OG. Previous releases were disappointing to many fans of Miss Dior because they were lacking something, pert the patchouli note. This one is quite good.

hmrls

I got a sample in the mail today and I must say, I’m pretty disappointed.
I was looking forward for a new Francis Kurkdjian scent. But this one doesn’t hit the spot at all.
I honestly don’t pick up on any of the fresh notes and just smell a generic flower patchouli mess. On first sniff I wanted to scrub this one off immediately, but I thought that just a bit too much of a waste.
After 7h I can still smell the drydown and I don’t hate that.

It’s okay, but it’s just pretty heavy and basic.

Golfgal426

I was just in Sephora and almost forgot it just came out. What a loss that would have been. I really like this fragrance. I'm not one for some of the flankers in this line, but I was a really big fan of Miss Dior Cherie back in the day. This reminds me quite a bit of MDC. Light and inoffensive, I really pick up the strawberries.

I actually did not like it when I first sprayed it on. Something rubbed me the wrong way about it. Then a few minutes later I wasn't even paying attention and a couple of guys walked by and told me I smelled amazing and asked what I was wearing. I then smelled my arm and realized it had evolved and that I liked it! The longer it sits on my skin, the more I like it.

I remember being so heartbroken when MDC was discontinued. This makes up a little bit for that. Thanks, Frank.

Ok I got the sample of this perfume. And I wanted to add my point of view. This is really close, not dupes but close to la vie est belle with the opening but less intense than la vie est belle and more powdery. Not a big fan with the opening but really I really like the dried down. The opening has this in your face floral fruity and powdery scent that I don't like. But the dried down is completely different. I prefer the base notes that are elegant in a way. To me this perfume is just an other designer/basic perfume that I smelled a hundred times, not something I would purchase

tealoveZ

To start on a positive note, I love Miss Dior edp (2017) and I can smell the DNA somewhere in this mess. Fruit jam opening. So sweet my teeth hurt. Then I get a dry, dusty, earthy base (a bit leathery even) with white floral nuances which is okay but not mixed with those overly sweet jammy, sticky fruits. Doesn't smell elegant to me, which is one of the things I appreciated in the previous versions. And to end on a positive note, the drydown is nice - a berry rose soap

wallywinthrop

This is really very pretty! It's basically if you took the berries from Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming and layered them onto Miss Dior EDP 2021. The top is distinctively fruity, but the two have the same drydown. Nevertheless, I would say the fruity, deeper notes don't last quite as long as I'd expected, so I don't think you really *need* both scents - although I hope to still own this soon! It's a lovely addition to the line.

Kon-nos91

Whoever said that Miss Dior Parfum 2024 reminds him/her of the Cherie line should probably have a nose check up on an ENT colleague. It's not a dupe of Miss Dior Cherie EDP nor it belongs to the same perfume family.

It took me a while to find my signature scent, it was Miss Dior EDT from the period of 2012-2016, last bottles could be found on market till end of 2018. Yes, the edition that was like 90% similar Coco Mademoiselle EDP, just more warm, less citrusy, more 'sweet' with a caramelized patchouli as I used to say.

So, I have seen my favorite or signature perfume to disappear as a falling star in the sky as millions of you can't forget the older Cherie line (EDP,EDT, even Blooming Bouquet) and want it back. Let's be honest, Dior will never do that. It means that they don't care for their customers or that these perfumes weren't best sellers. No matter what, I wish I had an answer from them. My most commented review was about complaining for the new-new-new Miss Dior EDP 2021 so I think most of you feel the same rage and disappointment. Quality starts becoming an unknown word. Recently, even my 2nd favorite from Dior has changed, Poison Girl EDP but let's not talk about it here.

Now, we all know FK thanks to BR540. He is a man, not a God to bring back to life the discontinued perfume we all loved for a reason. Dior has some kind of a hope if their perfumes undergo his hands but again, I don't think FK has created too many wow perfumes like Francois Demachy (their official main perfumer) did...and yes, I blamed him thousands of times for all the reformulations or discontinued favorites. The one knows what the crowds love, the other has decades of experience on his back. All in all, this just 'Parfum' version of 2024 tries to deal with the new 2021 EDP and Blooming Bouquet. It tries to be a sibling to them but finally patchouli stands out and bring back the chypre character we all want. By the way, what is this thing in middle notes, like "floral notes", you better write "floral blah". In a few words as a specialist now in MD lines, Miss Dior Parfum 2024 starts as a strange floral/powder perfume, then it transform into whatever you can imagine (you could sell it to me a drugstore perfume of 10 euros for example) but after 1-2 hours it finally brings out the quality that FK tried to add. A jammy rose that reminds a bit of Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming (reformulated and discontinued, shame), the fruity aspect of the EDP 2021, the freshness of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, the 'strawberry' that only FK can make that nice...I don't know, it looks like that this Miss Dior doesn't want to grow and get older but time isn't a friend of anyone. The only good think I could find is it's longevity, sillage, versatility (any age can wear/rock it) and chypre base notes.

Go grab it if you like it before it's reformulated, as Dior loves doing, but I have some amazing news to tell you. If you don't like any of the new-new-new Misses, don't worry, soon they will be discontinued...to laugh or to cry, not sure.

fragrance_girl

Nice evening/going out perfume with a classy and feminine vibe.
It has a distinctive patchouli note and it's quite potent - I sprayed a jacket once to test the scent and I could smell it for days every time I opened the closet. It could be as well named Miss Dior Intense.
It does remind me of Miss Dior EDP from 2017.
I would buy a travel spray if it was available.

Nothing new but good, nevertheless.

tmac42

This one smells so pretty! It's very flirty and fun in a classy way, and can be worn for many occasions. However, I don't think it's particularly unique, and I can't recommend it for a blind buy.

Though it's a crowd-pleaser (and why not? on a test paper it smells fantastic!), the skin longevity of it is only a couple of hours, which is surprising considering how punchy it is when you first apply. You'll probably want to re-apply throughout the day, which works for some people, but I think is worth noting.

The reason I don't recommended a blind buy is because as much as I loved the fragrance notes and the spray on paper/clothes... I personally just smell like a bag of gummy bears. No patchouli, no flowers... just Haribo :(

EdenRosa

I have a bottle of MD Cherie (2010 version, i assume it is the first Cherie version), i compared them side by side, even though this MD parfum 2024 has the strawberry and patchouli notes like the MDC, but it smells nothing close to MDC to me. It is a strong perfume that is no doubt. I had just one spray on my sleeve and the smell is very strong even on day 3 and looks like it is going to last as long as a week. Personally, I don't think it is my type, like many ppl mentioned, it is more masculine than feminine to me.

daws

I got a sample of this randomly whilst buying makeup and almost threw it away without trying. I absolutely adored and miss Miss Dior Cherie to this day. I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw a good enough semblance for me to instantly purchase! It helps I’m a patchouli hound, I own and wear Sauvage Elixir and Chanel Chance most days, so I enjoy the dry down a lot, and my mum wears Coco Mademoiselle so I’m partial to it too. I’m fussy but this has really pleased me!

Marie76

Well, I don't know where to start. the initial spray took me straight to Miss Dior Cherie. But that disappeared pretty quickly (what a shame, that classy, citrussy/salty accord just dissipated so quickly on me) and next came a sort of fleshy white floral/fruity miss Dior. She stayed on and on. Too feminine, not cloying, and beautiful for sure, but not classy. Very noticeable and strong. The dry down has that scratchy patchouli I dislike, but it's not awful either. And my God does this last. Even after a shower.

So it's a too voluptuous miss Dior for me. It's not a classy Miss Dior. It's a too curvy, seductive and grandma trying to be sexy Miss Dior.

macaron9

I was excited to try this as the reviews were so varied and I must admit it was nothing I would have expected. It does not remind me of any of the previous versions. Opening is nice but the drydown turned very reminiscent of Sauvage.

anggelloo

I've been waiting for some time to write my review and I'll end up circling back in a few months after letting my bottles sit and macerate and mature. I bought this the day it came out on the Dior website in the US ... sprayed it with a friend when it was delivered 2 days later... I felt that it smelt like VS Bombshell and I was back to my high school days and I was at the mall smelling perfume with friends .. wasn't impressed is what I'm saying LOL. My friend said it smelt like Miss Dior EDP 2021 .. after an hour or 2 I felt I couldn't even smell it anymore. Was shocked sad and mad.. I had tried it a few times for a few days trying to see if my nose was just bad. I wore this to the ballet a week after and could feel it was overpowering so I knew it was probably just me... decided to return to the Dior website. Then I found everyone posting their bottle on Mercari at a decent discount so I decided to buy it and let it sit and not rush the process like I see experts really saying and I get it... It was only produced 5 months ago so I did feel and told myself that could be the reason.. being a MAJOR Miss Dior fan and collector of the bottles I just had to find any reason to love this one even if it meant waiting a bit for that especially being by MFK (not a fan of his baccarat and his personal line but a fan of all the Dior scents he's created for the house since being director)

It's only been a bit over a month and I'm obsessed with this...

When I smell this I get a rose dipped in a sugar pixie stick powder and I personally love that and have that energy to make this an everyday scent but I totally get it.. that is not the vibe for most but as a gay 24-year-old male who loves the idea of smelling like a sour candy flower bouquet none the less with the Dior Label on it and this beautiful pink bottle I'm here for this and I know a lot of gals will be into this too.

Dior is just simply following the numbers and trying to reach the younger demographic and it's most likely going to work with this one as well! I'm sorry for all of you Miss Dior Cherie OGs and fans I know were all patiently waiting for this caramel popcorn accord to come back to us!

AnlisaC

People you need to let this sit and macerate for a while I did and it now smells amazing! Yes, everyone’s nose is different, this turned out very feminine and fruity floral on me. Is it Miss Dior Cherie that would be a big fat NO! Is it my favorite Miss Dior that would be no! It is one to have in your collection if you are a Miss Dior collector and of course because MFK created it! Really, I don’t take fragrance that seriously I like everything a little bit of niche, drugstore designer and celebrity, isn’t that what a collector is? 🥰

PattyLovesScents

Needs to be named Mr. Dior. Very masculine finish on the skin that will linger all day and nauseate the wearer and those around you.

I sprayed two sprays at Sephora today (on the same arm). I was very eager to smell this as everyone is saying it is similar to Miss Dior Cherie. It did open with a strawberry perfume note that was reminiscent of an early 2000's perfume style. A bit too mature for myself but it was nice. As it dried down I did get the patchouli floral vibe that many have described as a Coco Mademoiselle scent. Just a fresh floral patchouli which is fine. Then after 30 minutes the complete dry down is an extremely masculine fragrance that is woody and smells like body odor. I had to spend the whole day smelling this scent. I washed my arm at least 6 times but that smell was still there. Even my husband though I had used a man's cologne or something. Never again. That was horrible.

Melodee

This perfume is like Montale Rose Elixir dancing with Coco Mademoiselle to the music of Miss Dior Eau de Toilette. A magical and sophisticated dance. I finally have hope for future Miss Dior flankers. Step by step we are getting closer to our beloved Miss Dior Chérie.

melodyc

I must be honest, while this parfum was not at all what I expected based on the list of notes, I liked it! It might not be a fav for everyone for a few reasons. It does have a strong artificial smell at the opening. It can be overwhelming. It also reads very bold and masculine. The marketing does not match the fragrance. The fruit notes may be too sweet for some and the patchouli annoying.
On me however, it’s a real head turner. I have men following me around the grocery stores with this stuff on. I wear it for my weekend errands as I feel it may be too strong to wear to the office. I love the dry down. I smell pineapple and sea breeze blowing through a bouquet of fresh cut flowers. Why do I smell ocean and pineapple when neither is listed as a note? I don’t know why. The woodiness of the perfume is very comforting. It’s grounding, earthy, and sensual. It should be called Ms Dior as it is a very grown up scent.
I like it. I can see this being a great evening scent and Summer fragrance. And if you want men to be obsessed with you while running errands in your jeans and sweat shirt, yeah that too. 😆

AinoKaroliina

I sense the sweet strawberry note first. There's peach too. The florals smell generic to me. I surprisingly get a hint of masculinity at times when I take a whiff of the scent. To me it's interesting, but some women could find it off-putting if they are expecting this to be the same kind of delicate, classic feminine scent like the last few Miss Diors have been.

This has an airy, effortless quality to it. Overall I like this. There's something old and something new.

udzyna

Everything has already been said correctly, this is not Miss Dior Cherie 2005 or 2011 definitely. This is a the amberwood perfume, there is no quality strawberry and lightness of scent, but it lasts a long time.

celestial

Synthetic and more similar to the previous Miss Dior than to Miss Dior Cherie (which I love and miss). Too musky and artificial for my taste.

jess_27

Is this for real Francois Demachy is involved with this scent?
Fragrantica where did this information come from ?
No wonder we can't get our lovely Miss Dior Cherie back if Francois Demachy is still co involved.

Dior you need Christine Nagel.

karinatfragrantica

Messy. The patchouli is indeed reminiscent of that in Coco Mademoiselle but somehow it doesnt work with the other notes which seem to be a mixture of various previous versions of Miss Dior. Nothing special, typical mainstream designer perfume.

Candyshop12

The opening of this is beautiful and then after that dies , it turns horrid. During testing this out another day , my husband arrived home and says "Whatever you have on smells horrible!" lol! So my intuition is correct all along...its cheap smelling after an hour. rate :4

jess_27

I do really like this fragrance. However, Dior, seriously, the longevity of this fragrance is horrible so weak I'm so frustrated 😠 for a parfum that this performs worse than an EDT. I have had my bottle for just a month, and it's not getting better.
Dior, please 🙏 just sort this Miss Dior crisis out already. It's been going on for the last 12 years. The solution bring back the very original popcorn version with that quality sillage and longevity. I don't know how others feel but Dior cheapened the quality from the advertising campaign I'm talking remember the beautiful Sofia Coppola directed campaigns that captured the very essence of Miss Dior and also the heavy glass bottle with the lovely metallic bow. Seriously, why destroy something that was perfect? I will never understand the complicated situation with Miss Dior.
A Christine Nagel and Francis Kurkdjian collaboration Miss Dior creation would be exciting 😄.

violeteme

Everyone probably missed Cherie versions so much that they are trying to see it in every new release of Miss Dior. No, it does not smell like Miss Dior Cherie (2011), or the original Cherie. Some resemblance to these scents is noticeable, but it lacks in sheerness, crispiness of each note that the originals had. I agree that this is more similar to Mon Paris. It's somehow tangled and tousled, whereas Cheries were neat, pure, without overdoing. Miss Dior Parfum 2024 is like an over-kneaded dough. Too much and it ruins a good thing. The note list suggests a more interesting fragrance than it actually is. This Parfum version is not too bad per se, just more of the same thing that is available already. I am not sure why everything smells the same, does it sell so well? Anyway, if you are familiar with Mon Paris, you have a pretty good idea how it smells like. Just a tad more woody. The dry down is woodsy, earthy smelling synthetic berry.
I have small amount of Cherie 2011, and how much do I miss it. Such nostalgia.

silthrill

Ok but I'm mindblown that people think this smells like Coco Mademoiselle and yet YSL Mon Paris is no where on the "reminds me of" list. This is near identical to Mon Paris. Actually when the sales associate sprayed the blotter, I had to look at the bottle in her hand to double check that she didn't spray the wrong one.

This is a strawberry-chouli bomb. Objectively it's not awful, but it's VERY designery especially for FK. To be fair, it's slightly closer to the OG Miss Dior, but it's still not "it".

Side rant: how annoying when brands discontinue these masterpieces and then spend the subsequent years reformulating to get back to the original. Come on people, it can't be that difficult, dupe houses do it all the time and really well lol

radicaleah

This is masculine. It truly does smell like men’s cologne or aftershave. I sprayed it on my skin and had to scrub it off eventually because I kept getting wafts of HEAVY patchouli and a stinky cologne vibe. I sprayed it in the air 3 days ago and my carpet still smells like cologne.

If I smell really hard and use my imagination, I can smell the fruitiness which is actually very good. But the heavy base notes, particularly the patchouli, are too prominent. If you don’t like patchouli, you may want to pass on this. I don’t mind patchouli or “fruitchoulis”. But the patchouli in this one is heavy, strong, dirty, and masculine, which overpowers the fruity floral notes that could shine through if it was balanced right.

I’ll let my bottle sit for a few weeks to see if the notes become more balanced, but I’m doubtful. I will most likely return this. If anything changes, I will edit my review.

Edit: Nothing changed and I ended up returning it. Sad because the fragrance had beautiful qualities to it, but I couldn’t get through the masculine notes.

TheLB

This was horrible, very few times has a perfume made me sick. Instant scrubber. Smelled like cheap rose/insecticide.

natalialfonso89

it’s not impressive! similar to coco chanel!

MonicaLV

I was hoping this would smell like my beloved Miss Dior Cherie 2011, but no. This is not it. I am returning as it’s another flop for me.

luftbahn13

The perfect floral sweet spring perfume.
Wish it would last more though. Not strong enough for a “Parfume”
I am a big fan of Miss Dior Eau de Parfum (21) but this is for me so much better.
Delicate and feminine without being overly sweet.
Got the 35ml bottle should have gotten the 80ml 😛

Letmeregister

It's not similar to anything that other people listed. It's a really woody floral perfume. Fruits do not stand out at all. On paper it smells nice, but on my skin notes of moss/forest dirt are overpowering. However the staying power is the strongest I have ever seen. I sprayed it on my wrist two days ago, I wash my hands religiously and the smell IS STILL THERE. I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF IT. WHO TF IS COMPLAINING ABOUT IT NOT LASTING, HOW ARE YOU COMPLAINING. I'M SO CLOSE TO SCRUBBING MY WRIST WITH TOOTHPASTE.

DreamInCream

One spray and ooh this is strawberry heaven with a little sugar and jasmine. Very nice. And suddenly it became a mossy, cedar, flowery concoction. Peaches waft in and out reminding me a bit of Burberry Black and just as strong. But, the oak moss, cedar and amberwood take it to a different direction. A kind of ultra feminine, generic flowery perfume yet strangely quite masculine at the same time. I don’t know about the earlier incarnations, but I smell no resemblance to the last two Miss Diors 2017 nor 2021. I found this to be a nose plugging experience😔

Addict2Perfume

I splurged and blind bought a full bottle of this because I love Francis Kurkdjian fragrances and I believed that he could bring back some of the beauty Miss Dior had lost with the other formulations. Please be aware that no modern edition of Miss Dior after 2011 could ever come close to the splendor of Miss Dior Cherie! I am very happy to say that this formulation of Miss Dior Parfum 2024 has pulled Miss Dior from the cringey depths of the over-sugared-vanilla-soaked-bubblegum-nightmare that the pervious formulations were. I remember the disappointment of smelling the other editions of Miss Dior as they could only be described as sticky and cloying - essentially spraying flavored syrups on my skin. We have pulled away from all that with this 2024 Parfum edition! The real hero in this edition is the jasmine ladies, Dior quality jasmine and she is fulfilling my fresh floral dreams. I 100% agree that this smells like Coco Mademoiselle, you get that exact same blend of mandarin and patchouli but instead of rose you get strawberry as a top note. I will absolutely be wearing this fragrance, I am very happy with my purchase. Mr. Kurkdjian you did it again, this is a win!

JackieM

There's a sharp potting soil patchouli edge to this, though absolutely nothing about this is "strong" or overwhelming. There's fruit, but something about that seems unique too - it's not the fruitiness you're going to find in every Born in Roma. I was a bit surprised by the fact that this didn't remind me of anything specifically out there now, and it's better for it. There's something sly but charming about this. I like it.

I find that the original Miss Dior Le Parfum had the Mademoiselle DNA, this not so much. I can see where people are getting Petit Robe Noir, but to say they are very similar in my mind is a stretch.

There's no point in comparing this to others of its name. Dior simply doesn't do that anymore. I find this release to be the best under FK so far (much, much better than the redone New Look and more likable for my taste than the new L'or).

Candyshop12

I hate to say this but this new version is a hot cheap mess. I do like the fruity of the top notes but none of that stays and once that fades , the rest of the notes just bring it to a cheap smelling mess. I did like the prior version a bit better because it was sweeter but overall , my favorite is the 2011 Cherie version and 2012 version which i have both still. My cherie is still half full and smells fresh as ever. This is ruined by the cedar or something , its ok but will returned this. I was hoping since MFK was the creator of this one it would be phenomenal, but no its worse. Dior just please bring back our Cherie. * I don't get coco mademosielle in this at all. I wish the strawberries were amped up and woods or patchouli toned down!

2nd update : I realized once this is fully dried down after an hour , Im getting a slight hints of the 2012 version which is similar to coco M....so i see the points of that but this is basically the 2012 version much more sweetened up and add more woody patch without the beautiful airy parts of the 2012 version. So, if you dislike patchouli dominating fragrances avoid this .

Marisa36

To me it smells like a mishmash of La Petite Robe Noire, Coco Mademoiselle, Dior Joy Intense and Miss Dior 2021. Heavy on the patchouli, so not something I would wear in the daytime. Nothing original here, but I can’t imagine they can stray too far from this particular scent profile considering the Miss Dior name, unless they just give people what they want and bring back Cherie. I guess that would be a bit of a stretch 😉.

lmnsvgz

Definitely a very interest and unique release!

I smell the strawberries but they are quite different from the artificial strawberries in Burrberry her.

You mostly smell natural wild strawberries and clean, earthy patchouli. Well-balanced. It has the earthy wetness of patchouli with the sweetness of the fruit. The opening is very bright and with time it turns into a more rounded fruitchuili scent.

Bravo Mr. Kurkdjian...as great as always :)

Lady_lv

This perfume is very lovely, almost in the vicinity of a niche perfume! I would say, it’s decadent, and the perfect nighttime fragrance for spring and summer, I will probably wear it during the day also! I just purchased this, so I will come back to update, but so far I can still smell it on my arm and it’s been 6 hrs since I sprayed it in Sephora! I love the patchouly, and the fruit mixed in with the Amber., so far so good!

zestybloom

I love this it's a boozy fruit dessert syrup with a warm amber woody gorgeous addictive sexy with something that reminds me of a hit of Savage, I will smell one area of my arm and smell a pretty sweet fruit and another is a rich amber it's very sexy

MrsJackDaniels

In addition to the undeniable woodiness of this scent, there is a strong, sharp tanginess too it, not unlike Sour Straps candy. The dry-down is extremely patchouli.

elizabeth.grayton

Lately I’ve been rolling around in clean skin scents like MFK 724 and I am revelling in this. This is definitely not my favourite in this line (that is reserved for the original Miss Dior Le Parfum), but Miss Dior Parfum is a fruity floral woody with a smoooth patchouli kind of experience - a romp that will be a crowd pleaser. I prefer the other FK fruity floral; Burberry Her which is creamier and a bit more intoxicating - but Miss Dior Parfum is a perfect springtime fragrance and I will be spraying it into Summer this year.

Goodbye Miss Dior DNA, hello Coco Mademoiselle DNA...

VeroMikaela

When he became creative director at Dior, I had high hopes for him. We thought it would revive the creative spirit of the house, that originality and imagination would lead to new launches that would amaze us. Francis, however, betrayed my expectations and I admit it with regret. What I smelled on the Dior shelves since then was banal, commercial... and that's about it. Miss Dior Parfum is made as if for a he, she... them. It is unisex, it has that olfactory horror called amberwood, synthetic and chemical which gives it a touch of Sauvage. The rest are flowers, some tangerine and a little patchouli, but well distributed. I don't detect any traces of strawberries, nor traces of peaches and apricots. As such, the new release is not even close in intent to the old Le Parfum, Miss Dior 2012 or Miss Dior Cherry 2011. It is not that fruitchouly at all, but rather slightly musky with the DNA of Miss Dior 2021 edp. Cheers!

Rakefet

It’s a gorgeous fragrance, and I’m definitely getting a full-size bottle and possibly a back-up bottle before it's discontinued after all the critical reviews I’ve seen here. However, it has nothing to do with Miss Dior Cherie 2005 or 2011, or Miss Dior 2012, and I’ve had and still have all of those versions. I’ve been really hoping they would resurrect one of those versions but instead, they created a brand new one. It does remind me of Lancome Idole if anything, in the way jasmine opens up. Again, it’s a beautiful fragrance on its own. But with next release, Dior, please reproduce the real Cherie!

AryanasPerfumes

This is giving me the ghosting effect Baccarat has. Probably the amberwood , the syntethic molecules in it give me partial anosmia.
Starts fruity jammy, slightly sour, red berries vibes, more specific those little strawberries you find when you go hiking. Makes me think of Rouge Trafalgar, the berries part, but that is a different perfume. Then,I can bearely smell anything. Fast forward and I smell something woody that enhances the jammy nature of it, making it even sweeter. Some florals come there too, a jasmine, a synthethic jasmine that is honey like and makes you want to get some lemon to temperate it. This perfume is there but is not there, now I smell it, now I dont.
On the blotter did the same, so I applied from my sample on my skin so I get some real impressions, and yea, same thing, Totally unnecessary release. What is Mr Kurkdjian doing? Dioriviera fail, New Look fail. These creations are released so they can say they released something, but where is the passion and the talent of Kurdjian? Ok, I might not have had expectations for Miss Dior, but is PARFUM. Like make me smell something too, not another generic sweet designer creation but with ghosting effect as a bonus. Dioriviera smells like fig and wax, New Look a ton of aldehydes and incense, a ton of incense like I am in the church. Is nice at first, but God is there anythign else going on here besides the aldehydes that punched me in the face and the incense? Disappointed, very very disappointed.

yara.xo

definitely a bit warmer and complex than the other generic miss dior bottles, so for that i’d say it’s the best out of the miss dior bunch. fruitiness reminds me slighhtlyy of poison girl. all round nice but unnecessary addition in 2024, there are plenty of other scents like this.

I have a sample from Sephora, when I tried it my husband said “are you spray my Sauvage?” and he said smell like a man aftershave mix with woman perfume 😂

Amalfihereim

@andrewatic you are 100% right, it’s exactly like petit robe noir. I absolutely love how you talk about the one hour dry down which is the smell we are left for few hours not just the “super feminin , cute , strawberry “ start.

watermelonmami

I received this perfume complimentary from Influenster and was excited to try it. I’ve smelt other flankers of Miss Dior but never loved any of them to buy it. I read the notes on this and thought it’s up my alley.

I feel as if this is Dior’s attempt at a niche fragrance, as it does smell complex. When you first spray it, the mandarin and patchouli are in your face, reminiscent to coco mademoiselle. The dry down the woodiness comes out with a champagne & strawberry undertone. It has incredible silage and lasting power. I sprayed it at 9pm to try it, and my husband asked me if I sprayed it again at 8am the following morning. My husband thought it was very pretty and had a great dry down. He isn’t one to sugar coat things either.

It is most certainly not a blind buy. Could be headache inducing to those sensitive to scent. I enjoy it but I’d only wear it on a date night or night out. Also, because it’s so strong, I wouldn’t consider it work safe.

Alisapopova

It is so beautiful and feminine, a true masterpiece from Mr. Francis Kirkdijan. I wasn't a fan of any Miss Dior, they are were too sweet and generic to my taste. But this one is something different.

🇨🇦 I have a bottle and can decant 3-10 ml (shipping anywhere in Canada). Please pm me here or instagram (alistva). Get your nose on it asap!

andrewatic

Boring floral-fruity of very synthetic nature and weak longevity for a perfume concentration.
After an hour or so, it smells like a cheaper version of La Petite Robe Noire…
Disappointing.

ChiGurl

This was ordered as a blind buy, and after I read the reviews, I worried. Instead, I am delighted. This is a gorgeous scent, and I don’t understand what the criticism is about. Yes, it has a very feminine vibe, but what is wrong with that? It is, after all, Miss Dior.

delicateneonkisses

Somehow this smells like nothing? I had a tester of this and it was like spraying water.. Out of 2 other people only 1 of them said they could smell it but didnt know how to describe the scent.. Seriously I can smell nothing.

sarrah_92i

I'm so happy, I will be purchasing the 50ml next friday :D I had time to use my sample and I can't wait to finally get my hands on this new MD flanker which has the old MD 2012 version! For once, i'm glad this new MD is the closest to the good old Chérie with the strawberry notes and that mandarine and patchouli that reminds me of the 2012 edp <3

onceyousmellit

I’ve waited so much to find this in stores where I live and once I could smell it all I was is dissapointed! Weak longevity, weak projection, an awful smell overall! Mr. Demachy’s versions still are amazing and can’t be matched. At least that is my opinion after testing some of Mr. Kurdajan’s releases for Dior. There is too much manipulation and inducting opinions lately in the parfumery market that I don’t understand. I thought the Miss Dior Cherie which was an masterpiece will be brought to life although as far as I saw Mr.Kurdajan is no longer credited for that perfume anymore. I will buy a couple of backups of Miss Dior Absoutely Blooming which is amazing!

yzmo91

Smells like Miss Dior 2012 with a sweeter strawberry twist. Kurkdjian seems to do well with strawberries imo (Baccarat Rouge 540, Burberry Her). It is a dupe of MDC? No. I'd say it's closer to MD2012 than to MDC, especially at the dry down (it even reminds me of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle a little). However the strawberry does give an ode to MDC. It's somewhat transparent smelling but I wouldn't say it's ordinary. It does have complexity to it and the layers do progress beautifully. I think they are sticking in that direction to keep the market universal/global. Lighter perfumes marketwise do well in Asia and it's a big market. Is it groundbreaking? No. Is it something that we've smelled before? Yes. But in retrospect this might be my second best favourite after the MDC from this line (and I think that says a lot).

MandyBloom

Heavily diluted JPG Scandal is that you? Well I see that strawberry-ish note of white flowers (btw the official info from brand is that there are no strawberries, it’s just special kind of jasmine smelling like them) is a trend now but did we really need another one frag of this kind? I was hoping for something as interesting as MD Le Parfum used to be, brand training made me even more curious and when I finally had a chance to try it, I’m bored and disappointed. It’s the most basic of basic fruity white flower blend, no sillage or serious lasting power.

Harley522

The last time I bought Dior perfume was many years ago. But this magical perfume really tempted me. It has that magnetic young, care free and classy vibe of older Dior’s discontinued creations like Addict 2, Miss Dior Cherie, Chris, ….
The smell of strawberries is really subtle, but is present all the time. It’s not fake, artificial strawberry smell. Later I also detect VERY clean patchouli ( not the dirty hippie style ) and soft ALASKAN cedar ( not Atlas cedar, Fragrantica is wrong. On Dior website says Alaska cedar ).
Alaskan cedar or Nootka cypress is a very interesting type of cedar. It’s the softest, dare I say more feminine, if compared to the other types ( Atlas, Lebanon, Virginia ).
In Native American culture the story of Natsilane describes how this cedar was used to carve the world’s first killer whale ( this was also in Free Willy movie ).
Anyway this perfume is really good quality and signature worthy.

RhettB27

This smells really good! Kurkdjian definitely bringing his touch and flair to the Miss Dior DNA, im immediately hit with the fruity strawberry that reminds of other Kurkdjian creations but of course blended seamlessly into the Miss Dior DNA with its own personality. The peach and apricot still present too bolstering the fruity top that starts to temper as it dries, revealing a great ambery base with the always amazing Atlas cedar. Really really pleasant stuff and I will have to have my fiancé give it some wear! Definitely has this fruity yet classy vibe to it.

Darkrain91

ok so i just recieved this today. I have never smell how miss dior cherie smells like. but i was kinda expecting it to smell similar to the 2012 version, but it turned out i enjoy this better than the 2012 version because of the sweetness. It is not a very young scent though. It opens so fruity and delicious then midway i smell it bubble gummy. The settle down is a little bit musculine, i can see where people get the aftershave from. but 1 hour later i keep smelling something sweet and it was the perfume on me. It goes back and forth, its like playful. If i smell it very closely i can smell the musculine (i'm 9 month pregnant btw). But if not, i smell sweetness in the air. This perfume is not strong, it is pretty light. I feel like its like a little sister of absolutely blooming. Like innocent. Absolutely blooming smells better though, it's like a sexy deeper syrupy version. Miss Dior perfum i feel like u can wear it anytime, I definitely think it can be a signature scent as well. My kids that is 15 and 11 years old compliment me when they smell it, theyre like, it smells really really good.I do not find this to be for the teenage audience, i do find it to be more mature. But u wear what you like, I will definitely keep this in my collection. But i am happy i enjoy this flanker. It is playful

Myrtthe

Hm, what to think of this. Just got a sample. Personal note: I hate the samples of Dior, they seem to leak sometimes/evaporate very quickly. They have bad sprayers and certainly aren't full or even half full.

Anyhow, sprayed on clothes: for me the opening was super fruitry, a bit over the top too sweet for me. (For a younger audience I would say). But not much long after I get a bit of perfumed shaving cream. Male shaving cream. And something very vaguely reminds me of JP Gaultiers original Le Male. The shaving cream part is the dry down, it gets super strong. It's a bit better and more feminine than Le Male, but still. Dry down also reminds me of perfumes my uncle wore in the 90's. Not bad, but certainly not worth the price. Dry down is a mess (shaving cream + how a perfume store smells). Family member said she knows no young ladies who wear this.

Cassandre Paon

This is so generic... Not bad certainly not good, smells average fruity floral sephora with mossy/patchouli base with a clear synthetic undertone.
Okay designers don't release original scent anymore , but come on ! This scent belongs to cheapies not luxury.
I guess OK you won't arm anyone nose with this, it's kind of pleasing, but it lacks everything.

Dior, Francis, you are making fun of us. And it's so sad to see.

suzanne_ronald

I wonder if Mr. Kurkdjian feels like he's in the movie, Chef, where he's forced to make the chocolate lava cake again. It's not that it isn't good, but...well...this is Francis Kurkdjian we're talking about, and chocolate lava cake has already been mastered and had its moment...

Viviennek

Drydown is like the female Version of Sauvage - it's a no for me

girldeadbug

I don’t understand all the blind loyalty to the house of Dior. They obviously only care about making profit. I mean of course that’s what every company is trying to do, but Dior is just disrespectful! It’s like they’re seeing what they can get away with and rub it in people’s faces. And people just follow like sheep? They don’t care if an original fragrance was perfect just the way it was. They will reformulate until it makes no sense to even be connected to the OG scent, but bet on customers to continue purchasing just because it is associated with the name. Also, Dior has a dedicated team of assholes that goes looking for people selling decants of their scents. They report so people’s listings get taken down, or get their account shut down altogether. I don’t give a shit “iT’s AgAiNsT tHe RuLeS u AgReEd To” this is a beyond-successful company that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. And they’re worried about folks making $2 off a decant? They also report completed transactions. Like the customer’s been had the product, the item is sold and delivered. Wtf is the point of that? Someone *please* enlighten me.

As far as I’m concerned, modern Dior fragrances are for the basics of the world. The ones that have money, anyway. It’s like the fragrance equivalent of Uggs or white Air Force 1’s. Money can’t buy taste. 🤷🏻♀️

Miss Dior Parfum 2024.
A very special launch from the house of Dior with in-house perfumer F. Kurkdijan.
For those who know and love the Miss Dior Originale series from 1947, this might be too sweet and modern, but try to give it a chance, and wait for the drydown to appear with its woody, ambery and almost vintage like aspects. I think Mr Kurkdijan has honored the notes from the past.
For those who loved the Chérie version, or the Miss Dior 2012/2017, this Parfum may be very welcome. Fruits, florals, subdued and crisp sweetness make room for an ambery, woody base that lasts and lasts.
Me personally, I love the Originale from 1947 but find it too dated. It’s mysterious, chypre to the core, and truly French.
I never tried Chérie, never owned miss Dior 2012 or 2017 because I found them too sweet. Rose ‘n roses is my light rose scent with surprising longevity and depth.
The eau de parfum from 2021 has completely won me over with the iris, the fresh and warm combination, the beautiful drydown, the longevity.
And now the Parfum.
For me it’s a bit too sweet in the opening but that fades away quickly and gives room to softer jasmin and other flowers.
I love the mid and drydown and lasting power is truly amazing. The next morning, it is still on my skin.
Will play with it a little bit more, and think this will be my social occasion perfume.

Astara_Elaria

I think it's important to describe the fragrance, no matter if you like it or not, so thankfully anyone who doesn't like patchouli is warned...😉
On the other hand, patchouli and woods have been an important part in different versions of modern Miss Diors since 2005, maybe most prominent in Miss Dior 2012.
I was a patchouli hater back then and learned to love it in MD edp 2012. So, I prefer a Miss Dior with Patch - without, it isn't Miss Dior to me...so, who liked or loved Miss Dior 2012 (like me), could fall for this 2024 edition easily, although they are not the same, of course (time moved on)...They just keep a similar vibe.

Sonia Sonia

Sampled it recently .. I could immediately abd very clearly identified the striking similarities to Miss Dior Cherie and Coco Mademoiselle .. although I really can’t stand those two and every time I received as presents I gifted them to friends and family ; I must admit with the new Miss Dior I am on the verge of liking it ..

Latetothescene

Hmmm, I'm not the best reviewer as i've never smelled Chérie nor do like fruitchouli's. In fact, I hate patch. Only when it's blended well and is a clean one i can tolerate it, and even fall madly in love with a fragrance which has patch in it. (Because i don't smell it)

I don't like most of the miss Dior line in THE DRYDOWN because of the patch. I have several samples of the miss Dior line and I only liked blooming bouquet. (no patch haha). That's such a beautiful blend, but lasting power is shit.

A little sidetracking but i don't know why good ol' Kurk likes a sour note so much. It's in the new Dior J'adore (dislike that one because the sourness ruins it along with cheap laundry soap) and it's in the new miss Dior, atleast for me. And don't get me started on the massive amount of patch.
Why don't they try to be original and release a miss dior fragrance without patch (that lasts) instead of overloading it with it? You will have a much bigger audience that will buy it. I think you really need to love patch to love this one.

For me, yeah...unshaven sailor kinda says it all, lol. It doesn't feel clean.

I really did like the opening (strawberries and mandarin, jum) but it was a little too sweet for me to love it. Think absolutely blooming sweet. (man, that one performs and then some). Longevity was really good. Don't get the "was gone in two hours" reviews. The patch makes it last and last and last...till the next shower. I'm calling noseblindness on those reviews.

Not blind buy safe but what fragrance is?

Hope this helps a little bit.
First impression review, bag of salt as always.

Jeleemo

OK, so this was a blind buy in the hope that ot was something of a take on my beloved and discontinued Miss Dior Le Parfum.
My mistake. This is nothing like it and I think using the moniker 'parfum' is somewhat misleading.

This juice is weak. Beautiful, complex but weak. It lasts a mere two hours and then I just can't smell it anymore!

It opens heavy on the strawberry and then the moss is almost immediately apparent. The combination of the two gives an almost medicinal aroma. Medicinal, woody sweetness. Some complexity playing around between the notes but that's......it.

It's pleasant, I'm going to wear it for spring and summer and it may be a favourite for people who aren't a fan of beast mode frags.

My signatures are Tobacolor, Le Parfum, Poison and Addict. I love the house of Dior.
I merely like this scent.
Will I repurchase? Possibly if the scent blooms in warmer weather and I can't find anything else suitable for spring and summer.

Underwhelmed by Mr Baccarat's creation to be perfectly honest....

Nicole79

Miss Dior Parfum! I don't even know how to describe It! So dissopointing! I felt a little jasmine? Something creamy and... that's it! Very light, no sillage, nothing to write about!

MomBomb

After sampling a couple days:
It’s a more complex absolutely blooming.
It’s like Absolutely Blooming with an overcast of Alien Goddess Intense which makes it a bit dirty (in an angel muse sort of way).
Seems to be equal intensity to AB as well. (Not intense)

Elisabeth M’s comment got it right saying it reminds her of an old unshaven sailor… ((it’s in the dry down.))
This is a no for me.

LSAUG

I rather like this new Miss Dior. Will I buy it? No. Even though I have other fruitachouli fragrances and enjoy the genre. They are fun, sweet without being sickly and they are easy to wear around others, especially those who are not big into perfume. But I'm long past being a Miss, so the name is a bit off putting for women of my age bracket. And BTW Portman is to old to be the face of Miss Dior plus She's married. But I think this is a charming fragrance for a young lady from teens to mid 20s. Big fizzy fruits in the opening with a major focus on strawberries. The flowers are subtle but still noticable and the amber and woody base keeps it going for longer than many others in the range. A nice sweet but not to sweet fruitachouli. Like many women in my day thought being able to afford a bottle of #5 said hey I've made it I think the Miss Dior line has become that for a new generation. A new status symbol.

Goosegal999

When I heard this new fragrance was being compared to Miss Dior Chérie, I knew I had to have it! Like many of us here, I dearly miss that beautiful gem and am always searching for a fragrance to fill the Miss Dior Chérie shaped hole in my heart.
I took a chance by ordering the largest bottle of this new Parfum from the Dior website, I don’t typically buy large bottles of a fragrance I haven’t tried yet.
My risk paid off well because I’m head over heels for this fragrance! I will say I don’t find it to be a dupe for Miss Dior Chérie, I suppose if the 2 fragrances were songs, they would be in the same music genre, But to me, that’s about as far as I would go.
Even tho I do not find them to be the same and only mildly similar, I still really love the new Miss Dior on its own! Over time I may come to love it even more because I do find it stronger and longer lasting vs Miss Dior Chérie!
To my nose at first spray, I’m met with a bright sharp, slightly fizzy and almost syrupy (but only for a moment) orange and strawberry that very quickly mellow as they greet the denser and less tart peach and apricot.
The bright notes of the fruits soften as they dance with a calm and gentle, non-indolic jasmine and I swear I get a bit of creamy lily in there somewhere!
The sweeter notes are anchored by the warm amber and moss. The moss isn’t a green, wet moss, it’s soft, sweet and braided with perfect balance into the amber. I hardly get the patchouli because it’s blended so well that it perfectly flows into the warmer notes creating a solid delicious base for this beautiful fragrance.
So people who struggle with patchouli may still enjoy this Parfum.
I can see how the lovely warmth of the moss and amber could remind people of the popcorn and Carmel notes in the old Miss Chérie. They both give a rounded, warm density to the fragrance.
I personally find this to be strong and long lasting and most fragrances never last on me so that’s saying a lot!! Hopefully those struggling with lasting power will have better luck as their fragrance macerates over time! Also the sharp, tart, fizzy top notes lasted much longer on clothes vs my skin, just a tip for those wishing the sweet, bright notes lingered longer!
I find this fragrance to feel youthful in spirit (not necessarily age)! Beautiful and feminine but also playful and a tad sassy!
I think for me, it will be a perfect spring/summer scent but because of the warm base, it really is a great all year scent.
I’m already calling this as my new spring/summer go to!
My husband doesn’t love fruity floral scents on me, He prefers it when I wear deeper, spicy and creamy fragrances but he does really like this one on me!

Dianette

Let me start by saying dramatically, but truthfully that I’ve literally cried when Miss Dior Cherie was discontinued. I can push it to even higher level of dramatism that I did not know how to exude the inner ME without wearing ma Cherie. She released my alter ego, made me become one with it and gave me the absolute faith that I can conquer everything. Decades and decades of restless search in recreating that feeling, going through thousands of bottles of house name or less known perfumes- nothing ever had made recreate that experience that only Cherie was able to give. The closest I came - not in notes, but in how it made me feel- was the first release of Mugler Alien. It was not the same emotion, but it was close, and yet it was not IT. And here it comes Miss Dior Parfum. She is a masterpiece, an epiphany. I suddenly understand where Cherie was all this time. She - the most alluring tasting wine was skinny dipping in the most precious oak barrel, curing, aging to perfection. And then she was released to take over the world. The wine turned into whisky, then smoked and aged into the perfect blend of bourbon. Miss Dior Parfum opens with the sparkling juiciness of peaches toned down by understated sweetness of apricots and by a hint of crushed red berries. She makes you close your eyes, take a deep breath and smile. And then the real magic begins. A sweet dryness settles, with accords of wood, cedar and moss- like a muted camp fire in a forest, slowly burning still after the rain. A sugary dryness, a continuous release of split open cedar blocks. She is the ultimate femme fatale. Mesmerizing and exquisite, elusive and allusive, she takes over your senses, she exudes charisma and sensuality but she cannot be tamed. She doesn’t give you wings, she makes you see your wings you’ve had all along, she opens them up slowly and pushes you into skies. Miss Dior Parfum is not a fragrance to wear, she’s an intricate emotion that you must experience completely to your core.

Maya lilac

Testing this from a blotter gotten from a sales associate that was handing blotters to the people walking past the Dior counter. So kind of superficially, but here’s my first genuine impression of Miss Dior 2024…

Surely not what I was expecting after seeing the promotional photos. No big bouquet of roses and peonies, more like a fruit basket type of scent.

Opening, very tooth rotting sweet if you get what I’m saying. Synthetic and sickening sweet! Some non-descriptive fruity-floral notes that clash overloaded with an artificial sweetener type of sweetness. It made my nose tingle from that much sweetness.

After about half an hour I think I am getting all the fruits mixed together: wild strawberries, mandarines, peaches and apricots and some rose and jasmine. Like I am smelling a pleasant perfumy smell finally!

The dry down is very heavy on amberwood, that maintains the sweetness from the initial spay but on a more natural and balanced scale. I can say that amber and cedar are somewhat present but not getting the patchouli from the base notes. It remains a forward sweet fruity floral with a warm base.

I think this is an ok scent, not the smoothest or the most realistic or refined to be honest but not something that I would consider buying! I am expecting better from Francis Kurkjian…

I will try to get some sample to give it a fair chance, but as first impressions, it’s not my cup of tea! And I love a sweet, fruity scent in general.

Seems to be fairly long lasting from what I can gather from the blotter, and it should be, because it is expensive!

AnlisaC

Wow Dior does a great job with their presentation. I ordered yesterday and received it today (live in NY). I hated to open the box that’s how lovely it was!
Now this fragrance has the DNA of OG (I mean the OG from 2010 or 2012) It does have a different fruitiness to it in the open. I smell the peach mixed in and once it settles with the strawberry making it a sweet drydown. To me this doesn’t smell like Cherie, it doesn’t have that popcorn addition at all. FK is an excellent perfumer and I do enjoy everything he puts his hands on. Honestly would I run out to buy this (like I did) 😂 no it fades quickly which I am surprised at because the other flankers don’t. I am going to let this macerate for a while till the warmer weather and see what happens then! 8/10 because I love Miss Dior perfume! I only got the 30ml because I wanted to test first!

Elisabeth M.

Tested this one today at my local perfumery. The opening has wild strawberries (only a slight reminiscence of the original Miss Dior Cherie from 2005) followed by sour and slightly sweaty notes, most probably the mandarin orange. The background and drydown is rather oldfashioned masculine, heavy on patchouli and moss (reminds me of an unshaved old sailor). The notes clash together, not very well blended. All in all this is a weird concoction. Not a safe blind buy.

MCW7

Just got my bottle and hoping I am wrong. but right now this is very weak. I am somewhat disappointed because considering the perfumer is known for his strong, beautiful scents. So far I can barely smell this on the skin and I've had it on for about two hours. It is, however, staying on my clothing fairly well not strong though. I'll be at back with an update, but I do love the perfume it's just not as strong as I was hoping.. beautiful strawberry scent and peach. Hoping it will macerate and change.
UPDATE:
Wow, I am totally going to eat my words here. although it does not last long on my skin, on the clothing, I am still smelling it today, so I kind of think this might be a little deceiving, and I think it is absolutely a strong perfume. only one spray on my clothing, and I can still smell it.

Diamondsarahb

Just received my bottle and I really am impressed. No, it doesn't smell like Cherié but it does have similarities. Mainly in the strawberry/fruity notes. This new Parfum is definitely inspired by MDC and a very nice tribute. I do see the similarities to Soki's Empress more than I do to MDC although Dior's version is much more well blended and refined.

I'm incredibly pleased with this new Miss Dior. It does have that sparkling something that MDC possessed. This will definitely be a going out scent as MDC was for me at the time.

Well done, FK!

Edit: regarding longevity, some are saying this goes immediately to skin scent. Not so on me. It's been 5 hours and I'm still getting strong whiffs when I move around. I think it's one that some go nose blind to easily. Not for me!

Astara_Elaria

Just one short note at the moment: the reviews saying this version has some similiarity to Miss Dior 2012 and Miss Dior Cherie are right, imho. It has indeed.
Of Course, it isn't identical, but it is really close, especially in the sillage. Main difference is the lacking of the rose note in the middle notes, but the whole sensation is a tribute to Miss Dior Cherie and its siblings. Beautiful!
Will buy for sure, but it might be more appropriate in fall/winter.
And as I said: close, but still different. But much closer to MDC than to MD 2021. Love. These. Memories.

RepairYourNoseBro

I don‘t think it‘s weak, I had to scrub my hand several times and can still smell it on my watch I accidentally sprayed it with a day later.
Actually I think it‘s pretty good in performance, maybe more longevity than projection but it‘s
not weak to me.

I tested it in a store on blotters and myself to see if it’s a good present. I wanted this to smell like Blooming Bouquet 2023 which I love when my gf wears it as it’s not so sweet and more natural smelling but which has to be reapplied as it is so weak.

This one smells like the Miss Dior Eau de Parfum from 2021 but in a more refined and smoother less sweet but still way too sweet way.
This still gives me old lady vibes unlike Blooming Bouquet, so it‘s a pass for me unfortunately.

Graceless

I was so excited to try this after hearing reports that it was very similar to Miss Dior Cherie. But no, it's just another basic Miss Dior. And it's incredibly weak especially for the price

MoonInAries

On first test, this reads as a greatest hits package of prior Miss Dior classics. The strawberry-mandarin burst of Miss Dior Cherie is immediately noticeable in the opening, before resolving into the woody/patchouli chypre base of Miss Dior classic. So far so beautiful.

Unfortunately the syrupy-sweet fructose overdose of the most recent iteration of the eau de parfum is also lurking in the background, forever threatening to leap onto the stage. Any rose present is minimal, overshadowed by the deep cedar/amber notes in the base.

The longevity is a good 6-8 hours and the projection is impressive for a parfum concentration. Obviously feminine leaning, although by time you reach the dry-down this almost tends masculine due to the abundance of amber-woods which have dominated almost every mainline mens release of the past 5 years.

It would be fascinating to know how much of this concoction was Francis Kurkdjian's original intention and how much was directed by the powers that be at LVMH who surely wanted some continuity with the current eau de parfum.

jess_27

I have to say thank you, Francis Kurkdjian. You have been listening to our cries and pleas for Miss Dior Cherie, and you have revivded it and brought it back, not exactly the same but close enough. So happy
😊 😃 😀.

Definitely very similar to the Miss Dior Cherie 2011 version more so than the 2005 version. Oh and news parfums.com ship out of the EU.

I hope Francis Kurkdjian is working on a new formula for the eau de parfum following similarly to this parfum and hopefully even more resemblance to our beloved Miss Dior Cherie only time will tell. I am feeling excited about what's to come for the Miss Dior fragrance line under Francis Kurkdjian.

sarrah_92i

My mom got me a sample 2 days ago because I didn’t want to blind buy. I’ve been wearing it since then and the smell is very different from the Miss Dior eau de parfum (2021) which is a light powdery rosy-vanilla. This one is kinda similar to the edp from 2012 which I love, you can smell the mandarin, a bit of strawberry and the patchouli and amber, it’s a fruity almost sweet scent well balanced by the woodiness, plus, the longevity is huge! I’ve washed my hands 3 times today and I can still smell it. I’ve unfortunately never smelled Miss Dior Chérie so I cannot tell if the scent is similar but it does reminds me of the 2012 version, even though I guess this new fragrance is more of a flanker. So I’ll definitely purchase a bottle very soon 😀

perfeptions

Mossy earthy part of the base too prominent to my nose in the dry down for my liking.

Mags322

I just received this today. I love it. On me it smells fruity floral. I only bought the 35ml but next time it will be the bigger size.

rabbitmoon

Is the amberwood/moss/cedar really prominent, for those who have tried this? I'm generally not that big a fan of a woody dry-down, seems quite masculine to me.

cmschluter

This is now up on the US Dior website.

Baba_Yaga1996

Miss Dior Cherie Reimagined? Yes, though her presence is not the main feature. Kurkdjian brought back a treasure for the modern age, but added his own spin on it.

In the opening to early dry down, the presence of Cherie is felt. On my skin, I feel it is due to the Strawberry/Apricot/Amberwood combo that gives it the characteristic warm, fruity, popcorn-like accord. Hiding beneath this lovely accord is a hint of fresh white florals, reminiscent of the freshness found in J'adore L'or. The base notes of moss and patchouli helps give some depth to this.

To my nose this is extremely pleasant. It's got some oomph, and it feels like the distant more popular big sibling to the 2021 formulation of Miss Dior EDP. Miss Dior Cherie took a vacation, went on a character journey, lived it up around the world and came back with her essence in tact and several more nuances to her character.

I am head over heels. This is fantastic!

I have a bottle of this on its way. For those outside the EU, News Parfums based in France sells this and ships internationally.

I think that Mr Kurdjian produces nowadays safe crowd pleasers for Dior and masterfully follows that brief.

However, I miss the avant-garde attitude of risk-taking, when big fashion houses were producing memorable fragrances with charisma like Angel by Thierry Mugler, Fragile by JPG, M7 or Opium by YSL, or Coco by Chanel. Dior used to be good at that! Remember Farenheit - a soft tarmac bomb, or the original Dior Homme - a powdery gender-bender masterpiece, or Poison - an oily, purple vampire blood - the polarising stuff.

The market is currently saturated with boring releases on the same theme. Enough of the anticlimactic Gucci Elixirs, common Blue de Chanels and criminal offences like the 2020 reformulation of Dior Homme!

With this flanker, I'd agree that if you liked the Cherie flanker of Miss Dior, then you'll likely respond well to Parfum 2024; just give it some time and spray your clothes rather than your skin.

That's because it's a fruity floral fragrance with a synthetic strawberry-natural jasmine core, a drop of patchouli and a brush of woody earthiness that doesn't evolve into anything ground-breaking.

It suits anyone who wants a delicate, universal feminine fragrance for good girls that wear natural fabrics and go to picnics.

I love the bottle, but the ribbon should've had a bold red and gold instead of the silver thread - just to express the contrast of the fruity note resting on the waxy, white floral bed.

Still, a solid 8/10 - not a masterpiece but a great perfumery!

Don’t buy just based on initial spray at the drugstore! It does have a similarity with Miss Dior Cherie on the initial spray and for a little bit after you can definitely detect strawberry like in Cherie. It’s sweet and smooth…and rich syrupy notes dominate for a bit. However on the drydown it is quite masculine/unisex to my nose. 4hrs later and I can mainly smell the base notes with most if not all of the sweetness gone. Cedar, moss and amber. I feel like the base would be a great scent for a man. It’s nothing remarkable though. All throughout it is strong and projects very well.

Jacklyn's Perfumery

I’m hearing Miss Dior Cherie? Could it be true? I have the original Miss Dior Cherie and 2010 and 2011 versions and I’ve tried the 2012 so I’m familiar with them. For those questioning below the biggest thing to look out for to be close to the original Miss Dior Cherie is the sparkling Strawberry note the most. Felt almost champagne like and it isn’t heavy on the patchouli like the 2010-12 versions were. That’s what made Miss Dior Cherie different without the patchouli base it’s more effervescent. Like when you don’t want a patchouli base and want the fruits to come out so you put musks instead. It leans more refreshing than earthy. Hope that helps all who are unfamiliar with MDC.

Does this really smell like the unicorn miss Dior cherie????

katiesimpsonhair

First full day wear. This has lasted on my skin and clothes all day. Just have to add that. I love this, can you not tell! 🤣🤣

First impression:

Strong resemblance to the latest Miss Dior EDP with slight touch of the Miss Dior EDP 2012 DNA. My feelings are mixed as I feel like it's too sweet to my taste. The sweetness is more refined than EDP as you got Strawberry popsicle so I can admit that this is a little comeback of the older versions.

After 1 hour:

Sweetness disappeared but it's slightly there, the DNA from the past is more prominent. I sprayed only on my wrist and I can strongly feel so I dare to say it's potency existing and let's hope will stay for hours.

As time pass by I like it more and more so I don't recommend to judge this version by first sniff. I will try it on my clothes and come back here

I get Today my bottle. On the Dior Website they say its intense. Sorry After 1 Hour its more Like skinscent very soft. And i personally find francis kurkdijan overhyped. So i hope to get a Miss dior like in 2017 or 2012 its smells different like the actually miss dior but the longevity is so bad.edit: i think it Must aged. Its new produced.. Thats Why i think its Not Strong enough

katiesimpsonhair

My 80ml bottle arrived today direct from Dior with the most beautiful packaging. It’s so good. It’s sweet, bright with a warm amber base, it makes it smell more gourmand and how it used to smell. The sugary amber and strawberry is what’s making this delicious. It’s very long lasting and strong. I detect some pachouli. The bright fruity notes are in the opening and throughout and the sweet warm amber starts to intensify as it begins to dry down, it’s beautiful. I can’t wait to hear what other people think of this. This is probably most like Miss Dior Cherie 2011.

MomGodess

Love at first sniff gotta buy! Details will follow! ❤️

laramharam

why would this replace blooming bouquet? they just relaunched it last year, gave it the new ribbon and everything. afaik absolutely blooming is discontinued, so that makes more sense.

Erianwyn

I am very keen to try this one, the note combo sounds divine! According to the Dior website it does still have patchouli in the base though, which isn’t mentioned above. I’m full of hope that Francis Kurkdjian has worked his magic and restored something of our beloved Miss Dior Cherie.

Edit: Meh. Watery, gone in no time. Don’t get your hopes up.

Vstar1

I am so stoked to try this! Will this replace the 2021 EDP or is this a Parfum concentration flanker? Either way FK creates gorgeous scents so I’m excited, the mandarin sounds divine!

katiesimpsonhair

Ok I’ve just got a sample of this with an online Dior order and I was convinced it would be rubbish but it’s not it’s AMAZING!! It smells so much like the original with hints of Miss Dior Cherie. On the Dior website it says there’s strawberry fruity facets which was one of the best notes that it used to have. I’m now desperate to get my hands on a bottle. Well done MFK this is what people were wanting!

vanillaflower77

This looks amazing! I was hoping though they would us the metal bow instead of the fabric one. The metal bow was just so deliciously feminine on the older bottles and I think it looks expensive too, like perfume jewelry

Clws

I don't think this is "flanker". Miss Dior has always been changed, for years, accounting for new tastes. It's a gateway perfume for a younger generation, they change it periodically to bring in a younger audience and introduce them to Dior in the hopes they'll continue to explore the brand. Go back to the first Miss Dior iteration of 1947 and you'll find a spicy green floral with no sweetness that was very popular then. Marketing data shows a new trend, Dior is simply following the numbers; money. If you like a particular version and never want to be without it, buy backups.

I've loved a couple of them, especially the famous popcorn note but eventually got interested in their other lines. Marketing paid off for them.

KitKat

I am here for it! Whatever FK reformulates it has to be a masterpiece. He did a great job with Jadore and I can't wait to smell this as well. It will certainly be better than what Miss Dior is now.

katiesimpsonhair

My fave Flanker is the Miss Dior absolutely blooming, it’s the closest to how it used to be which is sweet but strong. I don’t own any bottles anymore I’m tired of the different and confusing versions that smelled weak, vague and floral. Fingers crossed this one is a good one, I like MFK so we shall see. We all Miss Dior Chérie it was the best, no idea why it had to go?

Mez0Nez

Old parfums (extrait de parfum) are dead... they killed them. and now new parfum? why?
Don't blame the CD (perfumer). he is just a puppet of LVMH. haha. LVMH always kills Dior's legacy.

efulki

This perfume is going to replace Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, which is now discontinued. Not the same scent, of course, but quite similar

Stella D'argento

Hmm,I honestly thought that next going to be new EDT because that's what happened before. New edp->new edt in a year or so.
I really hope it's not the full pyramid at least, too simplistic. Then again,Miss Dior Cherie L'Eau was a masterpiece and it had like three notes. No rose,no patch, nowhere near chypre again,we'll see. Definitely going to test it properly.

Erianwyn

I’m looking forward to giving it a try. I’m trying not to get my hopes up, but the lack of patchouli is intriguing as I’m bored with it. I’m probably never going to love a Miss Dior as much as I love Cherie but I’m willing to give this a chance. (It’s not nostalgia, thankfully I bought the biggest size just before it was discontinued and still have some left).

Amalfihereim

Such a reformulated parfum... this has such different notes from the original... they should be honest and tell people that it’s a new parfum, a parfum that has nothing in common with Miss Dior!
I was never fun of FK parfums, never liked Baccarat Rouge and I really don’t like to smell it on others... apparently he is idolized by many

b__ty

nothing like uneducated fragrantica users. nothing like them!
this is a new *flanker* , not a reformulation. let’s not act like we don’t have the resources to find out if it’s a reformulation or a flanker.

SniffNWhiff

These comments are ridiculous. This isn't a reformulation. It's a new flanker in parfum concentration. No one has taken away the others. You can still get them. Everyone being judgmental about a new fragrance that they haven't even tried yet.

Also, If anyone is tired of woody and/or patchouli dry downs, maybe the Miss Dior line isn't for them. Most of them have one or both of those.

Lastly, no, the amazing, legendary, Iconic Francis Kurkdjian is not driving Dior into the ground. What an absurd statement.

Amalfihereim

I’m sorry, but the new in house parfumer is destroying Dior parfums. Why and why we need to have an pungent woody/oud dry down on Miss Dior new flanker. I’m so sick of pungent woody or patchouli dry downs 😳🙄

Classi

I'm sure the comments are generally addressing the ridiculous numbers of flankers and reformulations, the printing out of safe and easy sales and promotion of questionable consumer behavior (which I myself am a victim of). It kills the idea of perfumery (innovation, art, uniqueness) that many people here long for and instead pushes the fragrance representation of late stage capitalism

LEM922

To everyone jumping the gun, this isn’t a reformulation. This is an entirely new flanker. Stop being overly reactive and blinded by your emotions. It’s just perfume. No need to hate something that isn’t even here yet… I’ll more than likely be buying it, I love the whole Miss Dior line and I’m sure this will be no different. 🤷🏻♀️

evavidal62

I own and love the last edition (2021?) which is a pretty powdery pink rose floral vanilla woodsy scent. Does the nose and the Dior brand plus the buyers that this fragrance sells to not tire of another and another and another and another Miss Dior? The first one the vintage and maybe like one more reformulation and one flanker should have been enough. I'm sure that Natalie Portman is sick of all the Miss Diors too and only wears the one she modeled for. I also only like the last edition of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. Why doesn't Mr. Kurkdjian know how to create anything NEW and interesting and creative instead of just reformulating and re-making Miss Dior a billion times? And why make so many flankers the way they did with Gaultier's Classique and Le Male. Late stage capitalism is horrible! How about creating a MISTER DIOR for a change at least? But this is just about making $$$$ not about making a truly complex and beautiful piece of scented ART. This is just all about making the big bucks. For shame.

DreamInCream

Seems rather soon for another Miss Dior, but I see this is a parfum rather than eau de parfum. I’m really surprised to see that it’s jasmine and no rose. I definitely want to try it, but it sure seems like it should be a whole new perfume.

kristoferiscariot

what is francis doing!? purposely sabotaging dior to improve his brand MFK?

Vergil Sparda

Will the real Miss Dior please stand up?

Maya lilac

Seriously?!?!? Another reformulation of Miss Dior!!! Why Dior?? Why not creating something new??

Francis Kurkdijan cannot create a new perfume just reformulate existing classic from your catalogue… You lost me, Dior!
