Fahrenheit 32 by Dior is a Amber Woody fragrance for men. Fahrenheit 32 was launched in 2007. Fahrenheit 32 was created by François Demachy and Louise Turner. Top note is Orange Blossom; middle note is Vetiver; base note is Vanilla.

After Fleur du Male, launched by Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Dior released a new, spring version of Fahrenheit 32, which is also a floral. Florals are finally in fashion in masculine fragrances. Both fragrances have orange blossom as a dominating note along with woody notes harmonized by a fresh accord. Its special floral freshness combines orange blossom with incensy, woody and fresh notes which we also find in aromatic Fleur du Male by Jean Paul Gaultier and oriental Fahrenheit 32. Among main perfume notes in the new Fahrenheit fragrance, are iris, rose, violet, orange blossom, vetiver and vanilla. This gentle and light masculine composition can also be interesting to women. It was launched in 2007.

I pray to the fragrance gods every day that they bring this gem back. Down to my last one and a half bottles and if they brought it back even for a day I would snap up two or three more. To my nose the greatest Dior fragrance ever created and easily in my top 10 fragrances of all time. Don't listen to the haters, this is exceptional stuff! People just don't know how to use it, this stuff is super strong and lasts a long time so take advantage of the Dior variable sprayer and make sure you don't apply more than 3-4 sprays(otherwise some people find it cloying or too sweet).

Was deemed too unisex back in the day for your average bloke but could easily be rebranded to be a genuine unisex fragrance release and marketed that way. In 2024 with changing sensibilities I see this thing selling like hot cakes or vanilla infused mojitos which is what this actually smells like(not listed but I am almost certain this has mint in it). Clean, fresh, soapy, cool, sweet, nosegasmic, are a few words that come to mind but I guess another comparison could be cool vanilla soap with just enough vetiver to balance it out and make it wearable for a man.

So come on Dior, don't sleep on this one, bring it back! Don't make me shell out $400 for it on ebay, cause you know I will, but I would rather give that to Dior and grab 3 bottles instead.

If this fragrance ever came back in its last form, I'd buy it retail without hesitation.

For now though being discontinued, this is like that beautiful woman that you saw at an airport. She was having a martini waiting for her flight, presumably to an event or conference and you sat at the other end of the bar having your Heineken. You notice her eyes keep finding their way to you out of your perephrial as she twists her hair a few times out of interest and girly shyness. You're being just as shy with a mouth closed smile as you both notice each other for about two seconds. She's hygienic, with captivating eyes and you don't see her aesthetics around every day. Unfortunately, you hesitated to at least say something, anything - a compliment on her hair, a brief introduction: nothing. She grabs the handle to her suitcase and looks back at you one last time hoping you'd at least wish her a safe flight but you just smile again im that same subdued manner, holding back your enthusiasm.

But the game is over between you two as she heads to her gate. You'll board your flight shortly after heading back home saying to yourself: 'I should have at said something,' and for the next few weeks you'll wonder what her name was and what may have happened if you introduced yourself with thoughts of you holding hands and making plans.

It happens, but you just never know what the future may hold in having you cross paths in life again.

Wow I didn’t know how so many people felt about this fragrance, Or how expensive it had became!..I remember almost 7 years ago buying two 50ml bottles somewhat scratched out of the box from a Dior rep for a low low price because he didn’t take care of them..And shortly after bought I think three 50ml tubes of the aftershave balm because I found them cheap! I thought I was getting a steal! But I think it was because this wasn’t selling...I definitely get the vanilla, But it had that pungent kick to it too…Not that sure if it was violet, But this had something that made it beastly stout & for whatever reason I stopped wearing it! & my co workers would even say it was awful lol!! Maybe I was over spraying…I wouldn’t mind parting with my couple of used bottles and a couple tubes of Fahrenheit 32 balm to someone who really wants to re live this one for something diff I’d actually wear because I haven’t touched mine in a while

I'd never buy the bottles on eBay going for 500+ so I had to find a solution to get back this absolute masterpiece.
Can't believe I found a way. Had to go through reddit subthreads and dig deep to find comments swearing that a UK company was able to clone it almost perfectly.
I'm literally shook. 50$ later, I finally can wear this chef d'oeuvre again. It's exactly the same, the nostalgia that hit me when I opened that clone, wow. Perfume parlour 0575 freezing only.
Thank me later.

I will agree with Mr. Capitalist. This masterpiece needs to be back on the shelves for a while!! I have never smelled anything like it, and the magic of the vanilla flowers combined with the incense made this fragrance a unicorn for me. The mythical animal that was impossible to catch and imprison.. So is fahrenheit 32..

Capitalistic

Dior really need to relaunch Fahrenheit 32, at least for a limited time for people to experience an absolute masterpiece!

fomo when I know I never got to try this one - was just a kid in 2007 and probably still a kid when it got discontinued. I have all the other °F - love the series. but who knows maybe one day I could own this too.

LostSock

Too vaninillic for me personally, but Fahrenheit was my first fragrance love and I've bought every single flanker since and I'll keep doing so. This will stay in my collection despite the fact I haven't worn it in at least a decade. Had a sniff before this review and it seems to have survived well, still smells exactly as I remember. High quality vanilla ice cream, an expensive one that uses pods not cheap essence - it smells like that, sweet, creamy, decadent. Definitely nothing like the petrol woodiness of its namesake, I'd say it's more feminine than masculine myself, but in 2023 everything seems to be unisex anyway.

Apart from Grey Flannel, beware of any woman wearing that, something ain't right. 😂

I have a 100ml bottle for sale. Located in Canada but can ship world wide. PM me if you’re interested

Oh, eatherorrisviolet, your words brought back a flood of memories. Your review encapsulates the sheer magic of Fahrenheit 32 so beautifully. I can't help but travel back in time to December 2008, a moment frozen in my mind like the snow-covered landscapes of Northern Italy.

The air was crisp, and as the winter wind gently caressed my face, I found myself in awe of the surroundings. Italy, a country brimming with history and romance, was the perfect backdrop for my encounter with Fahrenheit 32. It was a fragrance that seemed to embody the very essence of that wintry wonderland.

As I inhaled its intoxicating aroma, it was as if time stood still. The vibrant notes of orange blossom danced through the chilled air, creating an ethereal symphony that resonated deep within my soul. The juxtaposition you described, between overwhelming cleanliness and natural dirtiness, became palpable. It was a harmonious blend of purity and allure, a fragrance that whispered secrets of sensuality and mystery.

The snowflakes fell delicately around me, each one a unique creation, just like Fahrenheit 32. Its vanillic warmth intertwined with the cool embrace of winter, painting a vivid olfactory portrait of contrasts. I couldn't help but be captivated by its allure, like a young professional traversing the streets of a modern European city, their breath mingling with the snowy air.

In that moment, time seemed to lose its grip, and I became lost in a world where memories were woven into the very fabric of scent. The fragrance became an extension of my being, an invisible cloak that enveloped me in a tapestry of emotions. It was a true masterpiece, an evocative symphony of aromas that transported me to a realm where beauty and desire converged.

Oh, eatherorrisviolet, your review not only resurfaced the emotions of that enchanting encounter but also ignited a longing to relive that chapter of my life. It's 2023 now, and yet, the magic of Fahrenheit 32 refuses to fade. Its presence lingers in my thoughts, forever intertwined with that snowy winter in Italy, forever etched in my heart.

Thank you for reminding me of that extraordinary fragrance, for sharing your experience, and for allowing me to revisit a cherished memory.

I miss it so so much ! It was my signature scent (i'm a woman). I can't find anything that good and i really hope Dior bring it back. I still have 2ml of it and sometimes i smell the caps when i'm feeling down. IT WAS SO SO GOOD.
It nothing compares to the original Fahrenheit, they're absolutely nothing alike.
It's just pure Vanilla, not sweet, not cloying, just perfectly balance and wearable on any occasion.
Totally unisex for me.

This fragrance is pretty nostalgic for me🔥 if anyone has a bottle of this and would be willing to trade it for another fragrance go ahead and send me a message so we can negotiate a deal for a swap exchange

I went to a super small old non chain Perfumeria in poblenou Barcelona today and my eyes saw a 50ml tester hid behind the normal Fahreinheit and I asked the lady since there is no stock of it already can you please give it to me for free? She was not sure and then I just bought whatever a small thing in her shop and the tester now is mine!! It is a 50ml bottle and still 35ml ish remains!! I can’t believe my luck, I am on cloud No.32 now!!

ssslus

I wish I still had this one. Beautiful fragrance.

LMBelvi

I won’t buy more than my sample but it was enjoyable to use. Clean and spare. Professional.

SkinInTheGame

Owned this for a long time. Whenever I give it a go, the vanilla is too strong and sweet for my liking. If I do wear it I have to give it a half spritz.

kdzu

My first quality fragrance, passed the torch to Eight & Bob The Original. Superior.

Let_it_be

Why did CD stops making this? It smells like a tub of vanilla ice cream from the fridge - fresh, cold, creamy and refreshing.

No it doesn't smells like grandma, you have an old rancid bottle. I find many reviews are based on perfume that has already expired - these reviews gave false impressions to the readers here.

leatherorrisviolet

I went to a new discount fragrance store that popped up at my mall. I couldn’t believe my eyes: a 50 ml bottle of Fahrenheit 32 for $45. Immediate purchase, no questions asked.

First spray, nostalgia overcome me like a tidal wave. Back when I had no experience with this hobby I got a sample of this fragrance from a nearby Sephora. I remember it being puzzling and challenging and not something I was able to pull off at that time because orange blossom was so foreign to me and the basic, mainstream reviewers I was watching at that time said they didn’t like this fragrance. Of course they said that, and of course Dior discontinued this gem.

Well, I can say with great confidence now that this fragrance is a masterpiece and it is an unforgivable crime that it is no longer made. How the hell did they manage to make a vanillic orange blossom fragrance that was also easily identifiable as a relative of the oily, mechanical Fahrenheit? Wizardry.

Once you smell this and get accustomed to it, you want your whole life to smell like it. It’s mysterious and wintery, but not in the way that you think. Usually when one says “wintery” they mean it smells woodsy or boozy or like it has tobacco or incense in it. This is a winter fragrance for a young professional who lives in a thoroughly modern, snow-covered, high income European city (in 2008). This person takes at least 2 baths a day and scrubs their body profusely, but rarely washes their hair. Except they’re also a model, so the dirty head of hair is actually a plus somehow and not a minus. This person could be a guy or girl, Fahrenheit 32 is pretty unisex. Does that make any sense at all? Well that’s what I get. It’s that juxtaposition between overwhelming cleanliness and natural dirtiness and muskiness that makes this fragrance a must-have for anyone in search of a holy grail for their collection. If you can find it for under $250, just buy it. If you don’t like it right off the bat, give it time cause it is almost guaranteed to grow on you. The bottle design and colors suit the scent profile perfectly.

APULIAN

White, pure, tender. That's how i can describe fahrenheit 32. It's a simple, pleasant high quality composition, very far from the firy, edgy and bold vibe of the original. The notes are clean and easy to detect: orange blossom, white flowers, vetiver and vanilla. That's all. It' s the relaxing side of fahrenheit, very conforting and calming. If the Orange blossom gives freshness, the vetiver is the masculine touch of the blend. The vanilla in the base has a very soft sweetness, so it's not cloying at all. Everything is balanced here, the scent is soft but not weak, the performance is not Amazing but not disappointing for sure. The best season to wear fahrenheit 32 is spring. I think the hardcore fans of the original can dislike this edt, because they are very different. The smell in itself is nice, it"s not your tipical refreshing-summer edt. So if you find it be careful what you are looking for. Personally i like it a lot.

Pleasant vanilla and orange blossom. Lowkey underrated, actually. I don't know anyone who dislikes it. Discontinued so grab one if you can. Loved by my wife!

Delicious perfume! A sublime combination of orange blossom and vanille! 😍
I had the opportunity of buying 2 spare bottles (100ml and 200ml) from a local perfumery last year. The owner told me that their Dior customers were never really interested in the Fahrenheit 32 fragnance - so the bottles were stored away in a closet for quite some time. They sold the new old stock to me for a bargain - lucky me!

Do not do business with below reviewer currently going by “wyattwadlow” He’s a scammer and offers to trade on a lot of different pages. (also writes elaborate reviews to sound legit) Sent a package with trash/household items and claimed the one I sent was empty. Return address was in Bradford, PA. You can check his page for the many perfumes he posts on all around the same date 🙄. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Christian Dior Fahrenheit 32.
Best vanilla I’ve ever tried!
I’ve been wearing it since 2007!
I have like 6-7 bottles now.
Vanilla/vetiver/powdery and I get OG Fahrenheit DNA creeping in.
My nose gets zero floral in this one unless they mean the sweet 5 seconds blast upon spraying it?

DustyMemphis

@Wyattwadlow, That has to be one of the most sincere, original, and nice posts on this site!!!

I used to wear this back in the days. It was INCREDIBLE. I really miss it. Anyone knows a fragrance close to it ?

aqua_de_la_vita

I have a 50ml bottle of Fahrenheit 32 for several years and will continue to use it occasionally. I don't know why out of all Fahrenheit colognes, after this frag settles on my skin and the vanilla subsides, I get this weird reaction of a water note. Imagine coming out of the ocean, after drying off that odour you get from the water? This is my experience..I can only think of one thing...drinking coffee.
I know drinking coffee has a reaction to your ph balance. The bitterness of coffee must be effecting this amazing juice when I spray it on my skin...ugh.
I don't have any issues with the rest of the Fahrenheit collection.
I either have to give up coffee or try to manage the offsetting vib I get when I use this juice.
There's no way I'll give up coffee...first thing in morning and at least 2 more through the day.
The only other collection that I can not enjoy is the Acqua di Gio. I've tried them all, same problem.
I don't know what I'll do.
I would be interested in knowing that I'm not alone with this experience when I use this frag?

The BEST vanilla scent I ever purchased to wear. I bought it while purchasing a bottle of Fahrenheit on a buy one get one half off at Macy's decades ago. I continued to purchase it until Dior discontinued it. I was shocked at just how many heads turned along with all the compliments. It should be brought back exactly how they left off without a single change to the formula. The BEST Fahrenheit formula out of all of them in my opinion.

Ggrisu

I bought a full bottle from the flea market for 10 euros. This is great. Very familiar smell - maybe some of my co-work has used it.
Vanilla is "cold" and it suits well with the orange blossom. I classify this more unisex fragrance. However, the performance is great.

bolancb

I had this masterpiece back in the day and i gave it to someone very special to me at the time and she just loved the smell on me which at the time I kinda of found it a bit feminine so she would use it and maybe it was her skin chemistry but OMFG on her let's just say THE TIGER in me that animalistic Thang Thang well you know what I'm saying! BRING THIS BACK DIOR!!!!! ✌❤🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥

fragrantbaker

Wow this was one of my favourite scents as a teenager. Probably the first perfume I was totally in love with. I remember finding this very comforting. It was so gentle and smooth whilst very masculine. Although would have worked on a woman for sure. Such a shame it’s gone. I would be thrilled if this came back.

Managed to aquire a 100ml sealed bottle from 2017 for a pretty reasonable £89 and I must say, I'm impressed.

I'm not one for ascribing seasonality to fragrance and although I usually lean toward the masculine classics, I've been in search of something lighter and less formal for a little while & this fits the bill nicely.

As others have said, it's a very well balanced blend of very natural floral, citrus notes with a non - too cloying vanillic base which manages to strike just the right chord. The Fahrenheit DNA is subtley present throughout, although it'll be hard to detect for those who don't regularly wear the original, yet still affords the blend a deeper, more masculine vibe.

Projection, sillage & longevity are all excellent - which is just as well, given that I suspect it'll be a long while before a bottle crops up for as reasonable a price as this. Heartly recommended - but you'll probably have to pay silly money to discover it for yourself.

picknenders

After I sprayed this the first time, I felt like it reminded me of something I really used to enjoy. I couldn’t put my finger on it…and then it hit me…it reminds me of Fahrenheit…lol. That’s a true story by the way…I racked my brain trying to figure it out.

With that said, the original Fahrenheit is in there…albeit, way beneath the floral surface.

What a scent though. This is beautiful. I’m baffled - as to why this would be discontinued…especially considering Dior pumps out endless variations of sauvage.

At any rate, this has a little bit of Fahrenheit bite in the opening, but it fades within 10 minutes and transitions into a floral/citrus/vanilla. While that might sound boring, it’s not. It’s beautiful.

Considering I’ve paid far more for niche fragrances that don’t hold a candle to this, I’m a full send on 32 - even at “discontinued” price. Full send.

AmbuEnak

bought this in 2010 then 2017 i search again for backup bottle unfortunately this f 32 is discontinued... oh my

this f32 was beautiful masterpiece by dior besides original fahrenheit it self
vanilla creamy vetiver and little bit gasoline vibes yes only a little doze of gasoline ..
different than vintage Fahrenheit with boomm gasoline.
and make this perfume is more wearable for some people who dislikes strong Fahrenheit vintage...

i owned 2 modern fahrenheit and also 1 vintage Fahrenheit from 90's batch

i prefer this fahrenheit 32 than current original fahrenheit... but still vintage fahrenheit is my fav of all...

and today i got this f32 again.. so happy that i have this masterpiece again.. batch from 2008... such a vintage formula of f32.. still strong and seduction just like an old days

for those who curious about this Sillage projections and longevity... easy to say.. this is a beast form early 2000 perfumes.. so sad this is already gone on market...

dr.gevic_vet

Unique scent..creamy floral with trace of Fahrenheit..Maybe its better Dior puts the other name for this brilliant scent...Good longevity up to 10 h and 4-6 effective sillage....early spring and fall is the best time for this, maybe cloying in summer for very hot regions... I don't understand why the company discontinue this lovely scent?????

I find Dior FAHRENHEIT 32 on Amazon but it was sold buy Amazon I don't understand how then got it back in stock when is been discontinued anyone know how ?

eric.cius

Blind bought this recently just out of curiosity and I'm glad I did. What a beautiful floral. In the opening there is that slight Fahrenheit dna and I do detect some cucumber. The vanilla isn't cloying and works well with the florals.
The quality in this great. I rated this as lasting eternally because it does, projects strongly too.
Another one that was ahead of its time, it probably also suffered because it was marketed as a flanker to the OG and it wasn't similar enough causing lovers of the original to balk at this beauty.
Honestly if Dior released this now with a completely new name it would be a hit. I think people are getting tired of all the bubblegum, oud and ambroxan dominated scents.
Glad I got the chance to experience this one, a perfect spring scent.
10/10

I wish they would make fahrenheit dior 32 I got a little bit left I won't use it.till I can find a other one somewhere. Noting smell like this that why I love it

Kevinpar

I’ve been using this fragrance since it first came out in 2007. It could easily be a signature scent. It is fresh but has depth and sweetness to it. It is floral and dense enough to use it in winter. I receive lots of compliments every time I use it. Some say it is feminen but I do not agree. During all these years I’ve been using, not one person mentioned it is feminen. It does not smell like strong masculine fragrance but it does not mean it is feminen. I cannot stand the note vetiver but on this one It is not really heavy. It is a vanilla based white floral semi fresh fragrance basically. It also has a little mineral like cooling effect.

It has great longegivity, 8-10 hours. The projection is around 3 hours and it is moderate. I think this is the best flanker in the line but also has nothing to do with orginal fahrenheit.

Andy the Frenchy

As the pyramid suggests, this is neroli on top, and sweet vanilla (benzoin?) in the base, possibly with a pale support of violet leaf. That's it. Performance on my skin is modest (both performance and longevity). Not sure why this was marketed as a flanker of Fahrenheit, tbh.
This is the 4th version of Fahrenheit I've tried (after the original EdT, Parfum and Absolute), and there is no appeal: the original remains unequaled in terms of pleasure, by far! Another fragrance that got hyped because of discontinuation. Don't get me wrong, this one is pleasant, but the $200 ebay price tag is just a joke. Wouldn't spend more than $50 on that one (if I did). Had you to spend big bucks on a vanillic neroli fragrance, I strongly suggest MFK Apom, that is vastly superior.

In a nutshell: nice-ish, but nothing groundbreaking. Next in line, please!

AmbuEnak

dear dior please make this Gem available again...

Cucumber floriental ★★★★☆

If there was one word to describe Fahrenheit 32 it would be efficient. It’s the scent of making things work without a drop of unnecessary drama or hindering doubt. Unsmiling and serious yet a joy to work with and does exactly what it set out to achieve. In feminine perfumery, the straightforward crispy greens like Bandit, Cristalle or Envy have a notorious unsympathetic aura to them and who knew that same trait would be found in a masculine white floral vanilla giant. F32 is a ménage à trois of three distinct entities: soapy orange blossom, smoky vetiver and unsweetened bourbon vanilla. Their affair would otherwise be like thousand others, but like a stroke of genius, the whole is held together by the hissy cucumber accord from original Fahrenheit. The result is a flirty floriental vanilla cryopreserved deep inside an arctic stronghold, dissonant but interesting. Truly a shame that Dior guillotined F32 barely after a decade had passed albeit I do admit it’s miles away from a typical masculine and perhaps too reminiscent of the daddy Fahrenheit which likely crippled sales.

Soundtrack: Les Sins - Bother

Schnappo90

Definitely opens up with a cucumber freshness. It's weirdly fresh despite a fairly heavy dose of vanilla. Really nice - I remember trying this when I was 18 and it wasn't for me, 10 years on and I'm quite a bit fan of it. Shame it has been discontinued.

For fans of this (those of you based in the UK), Perfume-Parlour has a clone of this which smells identical to Fahrenheit 32, it's called Freezing Only For Men 0575. If you're not keen on paying the crazy prices of Fahrenheit 32, do grab yourself the PP - unless you care about the presentation, I see no reason to opt for the original given the circumstances. I'm not generally a fan of clone houses, but I'm all for them creating scents that are no longer being produced.

LukeS

A simple, yet satisfying concoction; anything I could add at this point would only be redundant because it's all been said before, only more eloquently.

One thing I will touch on though is about a possible substitute. If you're a fan of 32 then you know it has been discontinued, and that purchasing one of the rare bottles that remain on the market has the potential to significantly dent the bank account.

Several people have suggested Eight & Bob (The Original). Before I weigh in, it's important to understand that there are actually two versions of this fragrance: an eau de toilette and an eau de parfum. The eau de toilette came first, yet is now discontinued. It is still available from some sellers, but goes for an extremely high price. If you buy this fragrance now at either retail stores or from online discounters you will be receiving the eau de parfum.

I have the eau de parfum, and in my opinion I find it to be nothing like Fahrenheit 32, except maybe for the late dry down, and that's a big maybe. Ironically though, I think it could easily pass as a summer/cologne style Fahrenheit flanker. I think that's mainly due to the large dose of violet leaf present in the fragrance, which also happens to be the main ingredient in Fahrenheit's DNA.

I'm disappointed that I haven't found a replacement for 32, but whatever; I guess I better start saving up for one of those rare bottles that are still available. :)

LordAventus

Wore this only once- for a date at university. Got stood up. Never wore it again. Probably the reason it got discontinued.

Still, I smelled epic.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

savacsaian

I'm surprised there are only 2 mentions of cucumber. This is an aqueous and smooth cucumber blast with a little vetiver and the slightest floral aspect to it. The Fahrenheit DNA is there, but I find it very pleasant and fairly unique for a flanker.

Another strong fragrance. The key is to use in moderation. If you apply too much it has a negative effect.Just relax, use sparingly & enjoy.

The first time I smelled this perfume was 2007 or 2008 I think. Since that time I added it to the (I want) section in my profile in fragrantica. But for some reason(s), I've never thought of buying it. Forward 12 years later, I got it last week as a blind buy thinking I still remember how it smelled back then, seriously? How would I remember a perfume I smelled one time in my life 12 years ago? So, the first impression was that I didn't like it although I loved how it smelled when I tried it the first time. I almost returned it but I thought, lets give it another try. Well, it turns out to be a very nice perfume.

The problem with this perfume - which is not its mistake- is that, people tend to compare it with its father Fahrenheit. To me, they are completely different. And people want the 32 to live up to its father while they come from two different generations and completely different notes. If you want to really enjoy this perfume, forget the name Fahrenheit and just think of it as a Christian Dior perfume, you pick your own name for it, then I promise you will love it. I'm glad that I have finally bought this Freshy.

This is such an underrated fragrance. I finally pulled the trigger on a discontinued 50ml bottle of this hidden beast. I own Fahrenheit Le Parfum + Aqua Fahrenheit and love those too for very different reasons. I can’t wear the OG Fahrenheit. So I was always intrigued by Fahrenheit 32 because it was so differently presented than all of the other flankers in this line. The light colour of the bottle and the juice are a total red herring. If you think this is going to be a light summer frag with a fast dry down into skin scent transition, you will be in for a seismic shock. This is a beast mode fragrance. Some do not like the opening, I really enjoy it. The sharp collision of floral and vanilla hits you right out of the gate. Then it settles into a smoother creamy vetiver vanilla base that carries you through the rest of the wearing. Over spray this, and it’s dangerous. Two small sprays will last you an entire day, easily. It’s that potent. You can wear this Spring / Fall ideally and can for sure be worn in the Winter as well. In high heat of Summer, it’s possible, but only if you have mastered the art of less is more. I love this stuff. I’m sad it’s so hard to come by now.

Punkrockbebop

I almost wrote this fragrance off completely. The opening is just godawful, cacophonous, too strong of vetiver and orange blossom, a traffic jam of opposites I can’t identify that are competing with one another, like when you are on a job site and there are two kinds of music playing in two rooms you are working between. I had my first sentence written in my mind as, “this fragrance needs to decide what it’s going to be....it’s a mess”, but then the dry-down happened within 15 minutes and it is beautiful.

This scent is very manly to me, but the right woman could pull it off. Thank goodness, the dry-down is soft, and light. It is a mix of genres.....yes, it is fresh and sharp with the vetiver and orange blossom, but then the spices and vanilla pull it down into an almost spicy exotic, but.....not quite all the way there. It always remains fresh, but with something else interesting and intriguing going on.

I can faintly smell the relation to Fahrenheit, but it’s really it’s own fragrance.

I compared it to a spray of L’Occitane Eau de Vetyver, out of curiosity. They feel in a similar vein but L’Occitane Eau de Vetyver is heavier, and not fresh. Layered with some orange blossom, you’d almost get something similar this scent, with more punch. The Fahrenheit 32 is the more sophisticated, however.

Forever Neil

This fragrance is an insult to the original Fahrenheit. It's readily available at your local Sephora (well at least at the Aventura Sephora where it's fully stocked). I have to admit I loved it for the first 2 or 3 minutes, and was considering purchasing it just to have a son to the original. After a couple of minutes it becomes extremely floral (but not a masculine floral), and after 20 minutes it becomes cloying. There is some of the DNA of the original, but honestly nothing can compare to the original. The original is one of my favorites and most complimented fragrances.

I agree with the reviewer who said this fragrance is clean, a bit cold and razor sharp. This is a very accurate description, and reminds me of the headache it gives me.

Mr. nose it all

The best Fahrenheit.. and that means I could maybe even be the best thing in perfumery depending your taste.. it’s a crazy world

DarlingNikki

I'm not sure if this scent has been discontinued because I just saw it at my local Ulta and it's 9/2/18. I sprayed it out of curiosity as a woman who loves smelling men's fragrances and wow, what a beauty this is! It almost seems unisex because of the white floral vanilla mix, but I can definitely see a confident man rocking this one. I just might have to sneak a spray onto myself the next time I go into Ulta and see how it reacts to my skin...

EDIT: okay, I resmelled this one after letting it dry-down and...no. That damn orange blossom (I hate it, sorry) and vetiver (hate it, too) mix and create a really gag-inducing dry-down to my nose. The vanilla in this is delish, though and it sticks around through the dry-down, but ugh, that vetiver smells funky--like a sweaty man trying to cover up his smell with orange blossom and vanilla, LOL!

Unmodernize

How can such a refined classic powerhouse beauty be so hard to find?

I hate that all the best ones disappear and gets replaced with watered down shitty flankers

Martin__

I guess it is discontinued :(

I had a bottle within 2010-2012. Didn't appreciate it then. Learnt to respect that fragrance what it is. And I have to admit it's an unique, hidden and unfortunately forgotten gem in a fragrance world.

For me it's a vanilla-orange mousse with a lot of floral elements and a nice woody drydown.

Interesting thing is that from time to time I can smell traditional, classic Fahrenheit in it.

Longevity is around 6-8 hours, sometimes more. Sillage is soft to moderate.

A hidden gem. Glad I bought it again.

Alconichiwa

What happend with this scent? Is it discontinued? Because it is not for sale anymore.

I really loved the smell and would buy it again.
It reminds me of Eight and bob's Eight&Bob, only a different drydown, this one's stays the whole time to it's topnotes.

If somebody knows were you can still buy this scent for the originally price (€70 not the ebay €160 price) please PM me.

Fragrance -Fahrenheit 32 Christian Dior
Bottle from - 2016

He's got that undefined vibe going on.
Fahrenheit 32 opens on my skin with a fresh, futuristic and a bit ozonic citruses with dominant mandarin and bergamot mingled with orange blossom and with the tender trace of melon.
During mid development, violet starts to emerge. At this point,in the middle,it is all about orange blossom and violet with a nice touch of vetiver and with a wisper of warm spices with dominant caraway.
This all leads into a woody, spicy, creamy, powdery and a bit milky base with dominant vanilla and with a wisper of cedar.
Fahrenheit 32 has some similarities to Aqua Fahrenheit.

Longevity - 8/10(8+ hours)
Silage/Projection - 8/10(moderate to heavy projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours, than sits closer to skin for the duration of the scent's evolution)
Weather -For more or less any time of year.
Age - 25+
Compliments - 7/10
Scent - 8/10

Main notes according to me - orange blossom, vanilla, vetiver, mandarin, bergamot, violet, caraway.

The drydown is woody, spicy, creamy, powdery and a bit milky and I get some -spices,vanilla,vetiver and cedar.

Emotions -undefined,futuristic,blurred,cooling.

Occasion -perfect for nights out and semi-formal events.

Don't blind buy this one.Try before you buy.

HundredScents

Smooth vanilla bomb with orange blossom/vetiver in the background. Long lasting and a love or hate fragrance. If you love vanilla is definitely a buy. Is also a unisex fragrance.

YKem

Although Floral, this scent is very masculine
The Orange Blossom in combination with Vanilla triggers a dopamine kick...and the vetiver makes it so harsh and fresh at the same time.

Fahrenheit 32 is obviously different from Fahrenheit...

The orange blossom stays for a few minutes... after 8 hours you'll be able to smell only Vanilla in it's glory.

Good Job!!

Crowleysviles

Another one of my all time favorites. My gf described this as like a beach towel used to dry off and let dry in the sun

zesty_calco

32's vanilla is soft and without much sweetness. The orange blossom is smooth without that heady, sour white floral feel. Vetiver here isn't spicy or too strong but well rounded. Like many have said I detect just a hint of the original Fahrenheit and get lots of similarities to the Aqua flanker. I think F32 also reminds me of JPG's Le Male in some ways. Late dry down smells like Dior's Eau Sauvage Parfum (2011)

Sillage and projection are nice on this year round fragrance. Lasted a solid nine hours before becoming soft. "Masculine" and for most ages but a lady could easily wear this. Maybe a little mature? Okay for work but not particularly sexy. An interesting direction to go with Fahrenheit. Very nice, high quality scent but, like Aqua, when I wear it I wish I was wearing the original Fahrenheit. Not interesting enough to me for a full bottle but still a nice release from Dior.

aqua_de_la_vita

32 Fahrenheit ...I'd betcha that if wasn't for Dior's name it may not of had so much attention. I don't say this in a bad way, because of qualiy that Dior has put out...it would of been in bargin basement sale.
About the fragrance, I dont smell vanilla, pick up more of softer Vetiver/orange blooms. Vanilla does rise above the other notes after it settles.
Longevity and Silage both are very good lasting more than several hours
I label this juice as a clean sweet /green fragrance. There's a definite DNA of Fahrenheit.
I managed to find a 100ml bottle, the aroma is more of summer fragrance. the. What I enjoy is the softer clean vib with a definite sweet non-cloying type. This fragrance does remind me of Aqua Fahrenheit. The main difference is the aquatic notes. Overall 8/10

JovanMNE

Excellent one.
Clean, a bit cold and razor sharp at moments, even if cozy. Hard to describe, but it makes ypu want to wear light pastely colors.
Not for everyone, as it is very unisexy and reminds of a maled up version of Lou Lou by Chacharel.
You have to be man enough to wear this one with confidence, but it kind of suits males who are not afraid to wear what they want.
Strangely enough, even if it is miles apart, somehow it does ring a familiar fahrenheit bell. No petrol feel or strong pines in this one, but it has this kind of bitterness in the background that reminds of the basic FH. If it wasn't for the name, it would be an almost unnoticeable similarity, but knowing the family, one spots the resemblance.
Good to excellent longevity. 8 to 10 hours consistently (2011 bottle) and strong projection and sillage. It is a monster for the first hour or so, so beware of overspray.
This is not a sweet vanilla as you'd expect. It is surprising.
A-, only because it's not a stand alone scent, as it should be.

Hastey

This is such a great fragrance. It's fresh, a hint of sweetness with punchy florals. You could make this work in any season, but it's freshness and coolness make it perfect for spring and summer.

It's inoffensive and I love that. It's packs a punch and has great staying power, but it's not overbearing. Great for casual days or even as an office scent.

Job well done, love it!

Buysblind

I've been mesmerized by Fahrenheit 32 for some time, for better or worse. I've owned bottles which I've sold only to buy it again and again. In some years it's seemed the vetiver is very strong, others not so much, and in some bottles the vanilla is thick and rich and in others it's much lighter. The same goes for the orange blossom. Either way, I currently own a 2017 bottle and it seems to me that somewhere along the line Dior made a few (well-needed) adjustments to Fahrenheit 32. There used to be a certain unclean stickiness that would pop up not long into wearing 32 that seemed like some kind of conflict between the fresh top notes and the vanilla and vetiver in the base. I've noticed a similar problem in Cartier Roadster, which also has a base of vetiver and vanilla paired with fresher top notes. Something occurs where rather than a smooth transition into a blended whole, the vetiver and vanilla seem to get tangled up and out of sync with one another while the fresher top notes are repressed, becoming lost in the fray. The result is a sort of awkward, heavy, dirty feeling that is a drag to wear. It's the reason I've always ended up selling my bottles because, no matter how fresh and beautiful the opening, it always devolved into this kind of mess. Well, whatever the problem was, I think it's finally been cleared up. In my new bottle of 32 the vanilla is exceptionally smooth and light, and it seems as though it's almost paired more with the orange blossom in the upper register of the fragrance, along with some mint and perhaps a light iris note, while the base is reserved more for the vetiver and woody facets of the scent. In fact the orange blossom and vanilla blend wonderfully in this new version, to the point where it can become kind of difficult to tell where one ends and the other begins. Also, the vanilla remains on that lighter, smoother plane the entire time, even into the base. The awkward heaviness that used to appear and screw up an otherwise great fragrance is no longer. And now we're left with just that--a great fragrance. Cheers to Dior for fixing this one up!

There are a couple other interesting things about Fahrenheit 32: First of all, it's a completely different fragrance than the original Fahrenheit. The notes could not be further away from each other. But it's like there's this bizarre, inscrutable soul inside each of them which makes you identify them as siblings almost immediately. Fahrenheit 32 is absolutely Fahrenheit, despite not sharing any (obvious) notes in common! I've always pictured the original Fahrenheit as this red, atmospheric, gaseous and swirling universe, a planet all unto itself. It would make sense if 32 were the other side of this planet, with swirling white mists and frozen silvers comprising a soft dream-like landscape. To that extent, it's almost a work of genius. The ability to capture the soul of Fahrenheit, but reincarnate it in a completely different being.

Finally, just as you could describe Fahrenheit as violets, gasoline, and honeysuckle, it does the fragrance no justice. It's one of those scents that absolutely needs to be smelled to be understood, because nothing else like it exists. The same can be said for 32. I could tell you this has a light cooling vanilla with a touch of frosty mint and a sweet, fragrant orange blossom over medium bodied, woody vetiver, but you'll still have no idea what this smells like because it's totally its own thing and unlike anything out there. Certain fragrance have otherworldly qualities to them. This is one of them. Just get your nose on it.

joenick68

Compliments right on!
It takes me a while to get back to this one, basically only in the Summer, but as someone here said: it can be worn any time, all the year round. I think this is one of the flankers that has put more distance from the original version, but it has part of the main core, but yes, it is floral but it does a great job being a fragrance for men.
Get it while you can if you are a Fahrenheit fan.

Greco

I swear I can smell Coconut in this.

TheFragrantPrince

This is similar to Eight & Bob, but E&B's quality (especially the drydown) is FAR superior. In fact, E&B's drydown is even better than the top. I own both. I only wear this when I don't want to waste the good stuff. E&B is for special events only.

9/10. I like 32 it's nice

I tried Fahrenheit while on Summer vacation three years and found myself going back to the local Macys/Sephoras to re-sample this fragrance every few days. Although I have Fahrenheit, Aqua Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit Absolute (big Fahrenheit fan) I was not expecting much out of this one based solely on the notes pyramid.

Well, I fell in love with Fahrenheit 32 and picked-up a bottle while on vacation and, surprisingly, I find it to be an excellent year-round fragrance and I receive a number of compliments while wearing it. IMO, Fahrenheit 32 is a highly underrated flanker but it is not for everyone since it retains a pinch of that telltale Fahrenheit DNA (not liked by some and not enough Fahrenheit manattitude for others) wrapped in vanilla and white florals. Yeah, I know...it doesn't sound all that appealing, but the folks at Dior make it work - and it works well in my world!

This fragrance lasts 10+ hours and projects above average; so very good performance. As mentioned, it has some (not a lot) of that familiar Fahrenheit DNA going on in the background and it is surprisingly a cool/refreshing vanilla scent for the summertime. My only complaint is that I detect a lot more ingredients in this fragrance than those listed on the above notes pyramid - iris and other floral notes, at minimum.

A must try if you're a Fahrenheit fan; a try if you don't like Fahrenheit; definitely not a blind-buy; and one of the most underrated scents in the Dior lineup IMO.

nelsongil13

"The Frozen Flower"

Fahrenheit 32 is inspired by the freezing point of water (32 ° F / 0 ° C).

In addition to the notes described in fragrantica, other notes are: solar aldehydes and vanilla.

According to my 8-year-old daughter, this scent smells "like coconut and vanilla ice cream".

For a coworker: "at the exit is intense and unpleasant, then it smells very rich and I feel a lot of vetiver"

If this is a Flanker of the line Dior Fahrenheit, then I have the fragrance that is less like its predecessor, I explain; while fahrenheit mother is soooo oily (l love it) Fahrenheit 32 has it in FLORAL, diametrically opposite, the only thing in common is the beautiful shape of the bottle, but not the color of its containers.

It is a floral fragrance in a superlative degree, raised to the "32th" potential.

This feature gives you a feminine vibe without losing your masculine touch.

Linear, heavy to moderate stela and good longevity.
Use in cold seasons, for offices or romantic dates, and supposedly to females smells sexy.

Disgusting to some of my companions, to others a Jewel, in my case I am in a neutral position, and i would only recommend it if you are ready to wear a "Liquid Garden" as a scent.

8/10

erha69

The composition is simpler than the original of Dior Fahrenheit but the smell is better. The smell tenda to calm & deep sweet. Also quite long lasting.

cameroncaleb12

What a lovely scent. A true gem. Wore this gem to bed last night. Woke up getting whiffs of a very pleasant smell.

HusseinR

This makes me feel some years younger, and takes away any tiredness.

Basey85

Fahrenheit 32 is a wonderful fragrance that entices you in and then simultaneously leaves you breathless with its floral freshness with notes of iris, rose and burst of orange blossom. Now I like the iris and rose notes, but I found the orange blossom to be overpowering the iris and rose for which I am a little disappointed. After a while we get the vetiver which I love for its woods/earthy quality, lastly we get to the sweetness of the vanilla at the base of the fragrance which stays around for quite a while.

I’ve just received this bottle today, but I took a 2 ml sample of Fahrenheit 32 with me on holiday recently and I absolutely enjoyed this fragrance during the day, as it performed extremely well in the high heat. That’s what inspired me to buy a bottle of this brilliant fragrance, it maybe a flanker to the original Fahrenheit, yet this fragrance shines on its own better without me associating it with the masterpiece that is Fahrenheit. Longevity is quite good for this kind of fragrance as I get a solid 7-10 hours easy and sillage is heavy and you will get noticed by those around you and trust me that can only be a positive outcome.

Overall, Christian Dior’s Fahrenheit 32 is a superb fragrance in its own right, with the fresh florals tempting you in to discover more of the earthy sweetness that the aroma has as the notes progress, well it’s made me buy a bottle. So, that 2 ml sample must’ve been doing something right while I was on holiday.

Rerik

Fahrenheit 32 is much more than only 3 notes. It´s a fresh oriental fragrance with sweet and flowery components.
It would be a great successor to Givenchy Insense, but Fahrenheit 32 failed as Insense did. Men don´t like to wear sweet flowers. The situation when you are in the mood to wear fragrances like this are too rare. So we keep this fragrance for special times. That´s why nobody needs to buy it often again and the manufacturer discontinue it.

The air is alive around me - every breath is tinged with new life...it beckons me to join in its harmonies. I fear what may happen...but I submit. I am awash in whites and golds, a gentle tolling of bells amongst the songs of angels - this is of otherworldly origin. You materialize as if from thin air - your hair made of golden tendrils of vetiver, floating, your skin an earthen vanilla, warm and loving, the humid chill of rose and iris linger on your breath. I am paralyzed in your presence. You reach out and gently touch my hand - my mind is electrified in this transdimensional union. I see in waves and helices - space and time are my playthings. I feel grey, I feel blue, I burn white, I am endless. Our heated skin becomes honey and pepper in a moment of elusivity. Here we linger awhile, lost in fields of radiating orange blossoms. Your words setting off endless chain reactions, resurfacing the neural pathways of my brain, illuminating the infinite possibilities of existence. Eternity passes before I open my eyes - you are gone. I am pierced by this transaction - my skin still bears the mark of a heavenly vanilla and a soft floral vetiver. I stare out at an endless sea mirroring the still sky. For a moment, the tranquil sea and the pale sky become one - you are lost in its endlessness...a pale blackness permeates. This is my existence.

Day 56 - Touch
Listening to: The Gathering - Black Light District

Notes: This is definitely one of my favorite florals - something about white florals gets me all giddy. Over time, my opinion on what's actually in the fragrance has shifted (I'm able to sense more as certain notes are less overwhelming - I could not handle the scent of fragrances until I was 21. I would get physically ill from smelling anything in fragrance form. It's odd to be able to sense more as your senses lessen...). This opens in a flourish of radiant orange blossoms contrasted with the cool touch of violet, rose, and iris - these notes are quickly met by a golden vetiver and a decadent yet airy vanilla. This is one of a few fumes that actually makes my mouth water. Somewhere in the heart, a lively pepper note joins the vetiver to make it more earthy and grounded. All of this slowly dies down into a rich honeyed vetiver and cloud-like vanilla with the gentlest nuances of orange blossoms to carry it on to its end. It is surprisingly durable with longevity somewhere around 8 to 12 hours on my skin. Of course this would be beautiful on anyone, that is, if sweet and beautiful is your thing!

Smells like a slightly sweet vetiver to me. The orange blossom disappears pretty quickly after being sprayed, unfortunately.

It's good if you like vetiver, at least.

Le_Coeur_Gothique

You give me ice, my heart will burn.
You give me fire, my heart will shatter.

These two verses were originally created in my mind about Horizon by Guy Laroche, but during a wrist to wrist comparison between Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit 32 they unveiled a whole new meaning. For some moments they had me pondering over what would be the lesser evil for a heart; to burn or to shatter? Since "burn" could also be followed by "with passion", I finally decided that "burn" it is. Right after that I suddenly realised that the verses could be the national anthem of Flankerland, cause by their very nature they actually are an inversed harangue scolding the stupidity which thrives there. For what has 32 got to do with the original behemoth of the '80s other than the very same thing that its name indicates when converted to Celsius degrees? Since I'm quite sure we all can do the math, then zero, nil, zilch, aught, cipher, squat, you name it. However one more synonym of the aforementioned words is "love" and the prime meaning of this word is exactly what I feel about it.

Now, if there had to be some subliminal connotation for the word "white", I guess it would be immaculacy for half of us, and coldness for the rest. I belong to the rest. I could also belong to the very few who think of white as the colour of madness, and although cold suits madness way better than immaculate, that's another story.

Fahrenheit 32 is the younger brother whose heart froze with terror upon seeing what his elder sibling had done to the world. Therefore he searched for the most far-flung and sparsely populated place possible, so as to avoid any future contact with his brother's volcanic temper, changing a few letters in order to turn "sulphuric" into "soporific" in the meanwhile. For sleep is the ultimate nepenthe and the world suddenly found itself with too many ugly stories that needed to be forgotten after 1988. Deciding that any eternal icescapes would be the perfect place to invest in oblivion and save face, Fahrenheit 32 moved to Antarctica and rendered its niveous self invisible in its endless whiteness.

Am I the only one around here who always conditions himself into smelling vanilla upon seeing vast planes covered in snow?
Am I the only one who believes that howling glacial winds is what's actually unleashed every time I press the sprayer of Fahrenheit 32?
Am I the only one who keeps its bottle in the fridge during hot summer days for I fear it will thaw if I don't do it?
Could it be the sole fragrance outnumbering (or is it outfreezing?) absolute zero?
Could it be the wedding perfume of the Snow Queen?

I've always believed that it's nigh impossible to tell whether ice prevails over fire or vice versa and the very existence of the universe (and Iceland) keeps my question unanswered. However, in olfactory terms this is one of the very few cases where this question is no more, since according to what evaluating credit my nose might hold, Fahrenheit 32 has won over Fahrenheit by a landslide. Oh, and it's also the sole case thus far where a flanker has outdone its begetter, despite being a weakling compared to its infernal majesty. I bow before the mighty Fahrenheit, but it's the kind of bow that's motivated rather by dread than respect. And then I ride the winds with Fahrenheit 32 and go to watch the polar lights reversing the spectrum of its icebound whiteness in the night sky over its frozen kingdom. Join us. It's certainly worth it...

Saru21

32 Fahrenheit is the temperature when water turns to ice, but there's nothing really cooling or refreshing about this scent. It opens with what smells like a mixture of citrus and Vanilla, then some floral scents, and then a woody vetiver base. Does it smell anything like the original Fahrenheit? Not one bit, but it's still a good cologne nonetheless. Soft, pleasant, sweet, spicy, and inoffensive. I personally would of preferred if a soft leather basenote was added as a nod to the original Fahrenheit. It could of added a bit more of an interesting element to that whole scent, but it's already a great scent as it is. As for the longevity and silage: This isn't something that will leave a trail behind you everywhere you go. However, 8 hours after application people can still smell it on me from an arms length when standing still. That's good performance in my book. I don't understand why some fragheads think a cologne has to suffocate everyone in a room to be considered a "good performer". Overall, I consider this a great Spring scent for everyday wear. Might work well for the Summer too, or it could become cloying in hot weather. I guess I'll wait and see about that.

kamie

Hey folks, I've heard rumors that in the recent years the projection power of this cologne has been toned down. Is that true?! :(

multipleM7man

under-rated gem for the warmer weather. this one grows on you, just don't over spray. I do get the fahrenheit feel from this one but toned down with sweet vanilla and white floral notes. 9/10

The year was 2007 and Fahrenheit 32 came out. It reminded me of another scent that was new at the time, Jean Paul Gauthier's Fleur du Male. The similarity being that both erred on the side of being more unisex (read: feminine) than usual for a masculine fragrance. I've never been one to not wear a scent due to it being marketed to women, or smelling too feminine. In fact, this was right up my alley. What does it have in common with Fahrenheit? Not that much. Flankers are an unnecessary evil I've learned. I liked this one because it had a floral edge with vanilla in it, it was just weird enough for me to work. I wore it all the time when it came out.

Through moving from one city to another, I either misplaced my bottle of this or gave it to a friend. I can't remember. Recently, I came into posession of it again. I was ready to be transported back in time so to speak, even though it's only been 8 years or so. I quickly sprayed it on my wrist and chest (as I usually do). At first, I was comforted by an old friend. Minutes later, I had a headache. Then I felt nautious. I quickly showered it off as I was at home. I tried it again another day, with a lighter hand. It seemed okay. Then I wore it a few other times, and the sickness I felt before came back. Obviously it's been reformulated, and it's not quite the same. Sad...but Dior has been doing this with their scents A LOT lately.

Unmodernize

First off, I'll echo what many have already said. Yes, it's kind of a love or hate type scent. It is pretty unique for a male scent, it reminds me of other vanilla scents of course but no other is quite like this in my experience. Le Male is somewhat on the same track but much dirtier and sportier and "pointier". F32 is really mature and smooth. It's on the feminine side (feminine translates to sophistication, sweetness and allure).

But I also want to counter the notion that it's fresh or cold in any way, to me it's a heart warming fragrance that works up a temperature during the dry down.

It was instant love for me when I got this as a gift a long time ago, maybe a decade even. I remember the smell like it was yesterday, it had such an impact on my nose. My first thought was along the lines of "wow this is totally new".

Back then it smelled like the 1950's to me, that is to say it awakened my vision of how a movie star from an earlier era wore it. It smelled glamorous. As it was a Christmas present for me I personally always think about winter, open fireplaces, candy and nuts when I smell this.

I still have a bottle stored that I sometimes take the lid off to smell the nozzle and, incredibly enough, I still smell this beauty after all these years right there in the cap.

As a boy I never really took it for a spin out in the open because—while I felt it was delicious enough to lick of my skin—it was for an older and more laid back man.

This is the kind of a fragrance that I could just buy a 100 ml of to spray on me each morning to get in a good mind state. Or just spraying it on my shirt when home alone watching a movie, or maybe before going to bed to enhance my dreams. I want to marry this one.

spray_and_pray

Am I the only who gets a hay note in the opening? The opening reminds me so much of hay bales on a farm. Maybe my nose precieves scent differently. I love original Fahrenheit. Infact I just ordered a 6.8oz bottle of the original so I'm deff not hating on Dior or the Fahrenheit name. With 32, I just can't get past the opening. Not that it is a bad scent. It's just a scent I don't see working for me personally.

smellavision

Ohh, I was so soo close to blind buying this based on the reviews here, luckily I got my hands on a sample from a fellow Fragrantican... and boy, am I glad I did.

First time I tried it, the opening disappointed me heavily with a synthetic sweet cacophony of florals. As I got to the drydown it was bearable. Now after wearing it three times, I must admit the slightly incensed vetivery orange blossom heartnotes with hints of mint are pretty ok and the drydown where vanilla and fragments of pine forest ?! is added is actually lovely, but - exactly as with the original Fahrenheit, whose gasoline/tar-ish opening I just couldn't stand having to overcome to get to the lovely drydown - this is just unbearable to me for the first hour, going through a synthetic powdery floral neroli mess before it finally settles quite nicely.

Shame, I really thought I'd like this. Also, I can't really put my finger on what time of year you would want to wear this... too sweet for summer, too happy wannabe-fresh for winter, hmmm....

Still searching for my first Dior to really love, I hope that one of the original Eau Sauvages may be the one....

texaspete

Just realised this is meant to be the exact opposite of the original Fahrenheit. And to that effect this is great, florals - the complete opposite to a gasoline/greasy smell.

ConsumerThis

Well it's nothing new to say this is a quality juice as it comes from the house of Dior. I can't get past the gasoline note in the original, and this one to me is the original without the gas and some added floral. Just beautiful. Lasts long and projects very well. I think this could be worn year around as I'd wear it as a signature scent too since its quality and unique.

Scent 8/10
Longevity 9/10
Projection 8.5/10

Year round frag. Great quality. If you haven't smelled this, please do. Don't overlook this gem.

Lmuradian

At first i adored this scent. A different Fahrenheit soft vanilla floral with hints of the orginal when i say a hint i mean maybe 5 percent. But i made the mistake of buying this fragrance for my father.Who has the tendency to overspray all fragrances about 15 sprays. Went to visit them for a family dinner and due to his overp spraying i have been disgusted of this scent since then.Cloying is an understatment.

dmirror

Nice scent makes me think of ice cream vanilla & Orange sherbet it's a little unisex but leans more towards a men's scent I think women would like this one cause of the vanilla as long as it's not over applied it's a little heavy on the sweet spicy side probably should only use about two sprays in warm weather and about 3 or 4 cool weather if your a jpg le male or chanel allure type of guy this would be a nice change up because of the strong vanilla note & spiciness not saying they smell the same they just share that strong vanilla note 7/10 different and a little better than average

dioraddictfan

If you think this is anything like the original Fahrenheit, think again. This came out in 2007 when more floral type scents were creeping into men's fragrances. It is not a girly scent though, just different. I revisited it again, and I love it as I did when it came out. It has orange blossom, but there is woody vetiver and vanilla. It's a really unique scent. Not everyone will love it, but I do.

Kai1977

Walked pass the Dior boutique and "hmm...I've never smelled the white bottle before....why not give it a sniff?"

WOW! It is really, really hot here where I am. 36 degrees celsius. How can Fahrenheit smell so fresh? I LOVE IT!

So the first thing I did went I got home is to order one from our local dealers. (Yes, I refuse to pay retail).

It opens with an refreshing, airy, minty vibe. Flower blossoms. As you go deeper you detect the old Fahrenheit ...oil/gasoline leathery vanilla(or are they in my memory of the old Fahrenheit?). It smells so unique! Something reminded me of JPG le Male without the "sting" of Le Male. A white scent with a twist! Summer, Spring friendly!

Checked how ladies thought of it on the web...disappointing.

As for most Dior scents. I don't care! I buy Dior knowing it is not at the top of women's list. But this is for my individuality. For me it screams, "I don't care whether you like it or not! I like it and I'm wearing it! I'm the man! And I am comfortable wearing scents you don't like! Yes, it is a bit feminine BUT I am as secure as a man can be!"

Just as its siblings, it is a daring, in-your-face, like it or hate it type of scent.
Knowing half the people who smell you probably won't like your smell and still wearing it= confidence!

It reminds me of the movie "Vanilla Sky" or impressionist paintings from Monet. Just like paintings...some will love it , some won't. But it doesn't mean it isn't art. It is GREAT art.

llloyd

extremely sweetened vanilla in a floral mess with a cucumber on top is what i get mostly out of it. it's very "french" in sense of being decadent, a bit snobby, eccentric and perverse but always classy. it's not exactly suit and tie fragrance, but don't think it's casual enough too, since it's a pretty much thick and cloying juice, i don't get any fresh or light notes from it.

02098888

One sentence review: linear and synthetic; floral and unisex, we got Fahrenheit 32.

samlovefragrance

Dior really did push the boundaries for male fragrances. Fahrenheit 32, like the Dior homme line is a good example.
It starts more like floral ozonic and then warms and "spicens up" quite a bit.

It's a brilliant airy, fresh orange blossom, vanilla, and a woody spicy under-hum... very blended as to become dreamy, no delineated flowers & vanilla, but impressionistic; the effect is luminous, watery and really different. I often get subtle violet leaf and melon even.
Very versatile, pleasantly summery, yet cool and warm.

The snow covered bottle is great match for the juice inside.
Charming:)

After reading a number of negative reviews about this fragrance while trying to decide between this and the original, I still went ahead and got this masterpiece and believe me I'm not disappointed. I have an acquired taste for unique fragrances that are not generic and Fahrenheit 32 fits quite perfectly in my inventory... its fresh in a floral refined way but also evolves into this flamboyantly swanky vanilla vetiver union. Its definitely not for everyone but its rich ingredients might lure a couple of people though I think this is a must have for every collector with an acquired taste. I love this fragrance and really enjoying it.

9/10

UPDATE: I really love this fragrance, I enjoy the sweetness with this rather fresh accord right at the back and the vetiver too is well crafted. I find myself sniffing my wrist like a bloodhound throughout the wear, sometimes I miss it so much when I wear something else that I still wear it on my wrist when I get home just so I could sniff it every now and then, its sooooooo addictive.

"Hmm Hmm Good" is my opinion of this fragrance. I don't care what anyone else thinks in the trail of my scent bubble.

Fahrenheit 32 was launched in 2007 and had, as a concept, to bring to market the power of male florals, as if it was a surprise. The flowers have always been present in fragrances over the centuries, in several variations and combinations. In 1966, the creator of Eau Sauvage (Edmond Roudnitska) shocked the audience by including floral notes in a masculine scent. And we're talking about a creation of the same company. That is, it is the kind of concept to make you a fool.

Apart from this, Fahrenheit 32 has another subliminal concept: freshness. The temperature unit that became the name of this fragrance is equivalent to zero degrees Celsius, i.e. the freezing point of water. However, more controversy lies ahead.

Composed by notes of orange blossom from Tunisia, Iris, and violets, in the output; Rose and vanilla from Madagascar, in the heart; Aldehydes, Amyl salicylate, and Haitian vetiver, at the bottom, this fragrance can't freeze anyone. It is a scent of soapy and floral nuances, sustained by a soft and perfectly unisex note of vanilla.

On my skin, during a long time, a powdery and limpid scent remained. Those who do not know the composition will think that there is a note of musk in this scent. But this is the aroma of the Amyl salicylate (very common in shampoos and bath products), which can introduce nuances of orchids, as well as green florals. In Fahrenheit 32, the orange flower is fresh and slightly sweetened. But I consider a sin when I read comparisons of this scent with Fleur du Male, whose result is very different from this. I don't see also any resemblance to the original version of Fahrenheit. In my opinion, it's more a predecessor of the Absolute version.

But it's not, in any way, a bad cologne. It's just floral, synthetic, and unisex, with a delicious, but weird fragrance. Although it was not officially released as a limited edition, it has disappeared from shelves.

The bottle is the same as the rest of the line, in a soft white gradient. And worth saying that both projection and durability are excellent.

joenick68

I finally got this one to add to my Faherenheit collection after searching for a good price online...
I gotta say I am pleased but not delighted with it, today was the 1st time I wore it, so maybe I will add an update when I get to know it better.

Dior's answer to Fleur and Power. Super smooth French vanilla, clean blossom and some earthy vetiver to ground. Such a comfort scent. Last all day and prejects above average. One of my fav floral'ish for men. Yummm!

hoodie

Just sprayed this first impressions, very bitter and sour, vanilla in the back. Kinda like if you got vanilla shampoo in your mouth. After about an hour the bitterness takes the backseat and it seems ok but another hour later all that is left is a cheap nauseating vanilla.

mikedvd5588

how can i tell about this fragrance, wooww!!! works well with any situation, have a amazing scent and performance.. my mom detect me (am wearing this today) before go work this morning and she said probably this is the best fragrance in my collection that shes like a lot. well, i like it too and will give this baby more opportunity to prove his power and i will consider if Dior Fahrenheit 32 will be my next signature scent for some reason of that.
u should try this scent man. by far i give this baby 10/10 absolutely!

georgequeue

To me, Fahrenheit 32 is a beautiful rarity; it's strong and powerful, yet pleasant and calm. This is the kind of scents that you - dare I say - get to appreciate more when you run out of it.

A well-deserved 10/10.

silentman26

Strong attitude ... quality juice. Floral, sweet and a bit powdery. A blast of flowers, iris, rose and a hint of vetiver. A mix of orange blossoms and overpowering vanilla. Cool vibe, perfect for the summer with a hint of coconut. A great scent.

brucifer

This is definitely my favourite from the Fahrenheit collection. Noticable orange blossom at the start which isnt all that sweet and then beautiful vanilla comes through as it develops. I feel this can work most of the year day and night perhaps with exception of if you live in a country with very hot and humid summer days. The vanilla may be abit too intense then. Safe blind buy if you like vanilla fragrances Id say.

Houdini4

In hindsight in my review below I went far too easy on this fragrance first time around.
This is my third wear and I've formed an opinion which is...Fahrenheit 32 is not to my taste at all.
I still get the tiniest hint of powdery violet (am I going mad/wishful thinking this IS a Fahrenheit flanker?) at the back of this but 32 is mainly a cheap smelling vanilla and white blossom fragrance.
It's not that particular combination of notes because at times it smells okay but more about the poor quality which lets it down.
The apple has fallen far from the tree.

kingderella

A complex fragrance. Very fresh at first, but becomes more heavy and vanilla-y as it goes on. So it's not for hot summer days. More for days when the sun is out, but it's still a bit chilly.

Mrbigbigtoe

This is beyond wanting this! I'm just going to die if I don't have it before next year!

Jay T

Fahrenheit est mon favorit cologne donc j'ai eu certains haut espoirs pour ca. Pour tout les parler sur que est fleur pour homme bien fait, ce eu tres décevant.

I get a wonderful blast of the orange blossom when first applied and the vanilla and vetiver come through as it dries. It's a truly wonderful fragrance and I have made it one of my top 5. I got a compliment within 15 minutes of trying a sample on my wrist. My body chemistry just works with this. It's a strange scent, though. I'd warn you of that. Most certainly try it first. It suits my skin and my personality but YMMV. 10/10 in all aspects of this one for me.

Amparo Noir

The opening is icy-cold, frozen and slightly powdery scent.
Yet, i could detect the 'fahrenheit' dna in this at the beginnin,
then it becomes woody-powdery. I personally think this could be a flanker to Dior Higher, because this is also has the clean and fresh scent. This could be named Higher Intense.

Also, its powdery vibe reminds me to Dior Dune Homme, but Dune is more airy and lighter.

Smyle12

Sameh, your bottle is fake.

garmonbozia

Fahrenheit 32 is nothing like the original. Actually it has very feminine feel to it. I don't like this scent. It's sweet, flowery and watery. It smells like the essence of some flowers was diluted in the large quantity of water. The result is strange. It is sweet and strong but at the same time very bland and watery.
And it's not fresh at all. It's icky. The sour note (orange blossom I guess) makes you feel stale.

Pianomelody

Very good! Sweet to the right place .. feel the orange flowers of tunisia, vanilla, vetiver and in the end .. it is a perfect parfum for spring to me .. in fact I'm using it at this time. I want to say to all of you not to go overboard with the spray (it only takes 3 or 4 sprays, lasts 8 or 12 hours on the skin) I find it very good :) I like!!.

Vitalik

Dior House told me it had been discontinued.
That makes much of my favorite fragrances gone!

ladyone1

someone gave me this - we did not know if it's male or female? after searching on the web, we recognized it's supposed to be male... it's not really bad but not fresh enough for my taste.. kinda too strong & woody

Laurdess

I was very shocked by this one. I do not know what I expected. It was ok, but nothing like the org. Its light, for spring or summer. A vanilla mint is what I got. Not really manly. It was not bad, but it was not good either.

Pyrzy

I have had this scent now for two months and have worn it quite often during the cooler spring months.

I must say that the first thought that comes to mind when smelling this is strange. That is not really a bad thing - infact I find this cologne very compelling and interesting.

The vanilla is smooth, orange blossom is sweet sharp, and the vetiver bring it some backbone, a "dirty" feel if you can imagine that. In my opinion has similarities with original Fahrenheit (I love Dior Homme - has nothing to do with that one!) in that there is this certain dirtyness, an edge to the scent. It is somewhat sweet, cool, powdery, floral woody. Oriental this is not in my opinion.

I must give thumbs up for this one in my own opinion - it smells very unique and has a razor sharp edge of both dirty and clean, hot and cool. Solary notes I could say. Very hard to describe what it smells like.

I wouldn't call this feminine by any means because of the rugged vetiver in the smell giving the smoothness some kick in the ass.

This is a definite try - I understand how some may not like this, but to me it is strange, unique, powdery rugged sweetness in the best degree. I like this more than original Fahrenheit on me - but that is just because I am not a very manly man, loving cars and leather jackets.

I would recommend this to any stylish, light hearted and unique-wanting young adult and up.

Scent: 8/10 a very strange scent, very intruiging.
Sillage: 8/10 very good sillage for. Be easy on the trigger, gets very cloing easily. Keep it light, you will get noticed!
Longevity: 8/10 lasts all day on me -8am to 6pm.

Closing words: Unique, fresh and sweet rugged fresh scent for men. Very unique, very good quality. Try it before buy! Keep an open mind and you might just hve found yourself a friend.

8/10!

Osmo

this is so 'sweet' for a men's scent in a quite nice way though and yet so light and smooth, you cannot be sure if the feel you get it's floral, at first, or anything like vanilla.. it's a kinda weird but really feelgood sweet kind of a greatly mixed blend yet quite clean.
Dry down is interesting yet with some flashes of a too-sweet-saliva-feel-kind-of-experience like with jpg's le male, rochas man, joop and so on (or some women perfumes also).
Easily unisex of course while really evolving with the consumer's skin (smells different among different skins).
All in all i feel that doesn't reminds me of the original (which i also love) but it considers a nice original scent itself! support, although not for everyone i guess.

bonanza1

I tried this one today but it doesnt smell the same to me as the old stock they had at Macys. I didnt get that strong vanilla... what gives I get a pine scent with only light hints of the vanilla. Has this been reformulated.

fresh_scents

I imagine that it took a lot of restraint to keep the ingredients so simple to make this great cologne. That was the best move because I love it!

When I read reviews I often wonder how different bottles can be so different. I recently purchased this used and the longevity and projection are so much greater than the new mini I bought unopened from a store a while back. This fragrance is great and I think it's rather unisex. It smells a little close to gucci guilty in the dry down but doesn't make you want to choke like GG. The opening is fern spicy and warm, but not dark. The opening is much better when sprayed versus splashed. I get a violet vibe as well from thr original, nothing close to the same by any means

respect1983

Great choice for fans of gentle and sweet aromas of vanilla.Because of vetiver and orange blossom which exist in F32 , vanilla has a sweet cream form.In early moments presence of excessive orange scent may remind you of feminine fragrances but in this case you should give F32 at least fifteen minutes till show its real masculine vetiver and vanilla aromas.
Longevity is great so that your clothes visibly emits sweet and nice vanilla scents for a long time.this perfume actually is versatile that can be used in any situations and weather conditions. The projection is great too so that everyone around you, will notice F32's smell and usually will ask its name.

curtmaster

@ Dan_d yes it has been reformulated like everything else lately. Smh

On MY skin turns very smooth and weak. I cannot detect the amount of vanilla that others smell. Nice smell though, but I expected an overpowering scent...I just get a very subtle floral scent...dunno...

Marciu

OK, to be fair, I had to give this Fahrenheit next chances, no matter how bad I've said it is earlier...

I have to say, that I started to appreciate orange blossom in it. It gave the composition a kind of depth... Besides, there still aren't many men frags that contain this flower.

However, I still cannot see any connection with original Fahrenheit.

3/5 is all I can give it.

drummerboy1986

this is good as a stand alone fragrance, but awesome as a base.... I tried this yesterday when my girlfriend and I were going through the mall... I sprayed this on... then I thought to myself "fresh", "shower clean", "icy", Hollister?..... Versace?... I sprayed this on both hands, and spray Eau Fraiche on one hand, then went into Hollister, sprayed SoCal on my other hand both are harmonizing with this awesome scent

Marciu

I've had one 1,7 fl oz(50 ml) bottle of Fahrenheit 32 since late 2007. I really tried to like it. And I can't...

To me, this is unfortunately a primitive fragrance. Smells... generic, I would say. Like a light version of Givenchy Pi without its richness. Pure vanilla, actually vanilla and sugar - that's what I get on my skin. It didn't impress me at all. Longevity is decent - about 5 hours. And I can't see ANY similarities neither with original Fahrenheit, nor with Fahrenheit Aqua. It's a different fragrance to me.

It's sad I have to say it, but... Big thumbs down, Mr Demachy(and Mrs Turner). For the first time...

It's a pass for me. A big pass.

elvis944

Might be considered unisex, but you know what? I don't freaking care! This stuff smells amazing! DIOR spells quality!

F32 is a masterpiece in the designers world, this perfume provides calm and inner peace as the white of the bottle wants to show.

In the first moment, the opening of orange blossom reminds me when you go into a candy shop. After few seconds, the scent becomes more concentrated with a vetiver and vanilla afterward.
The drydown reminds vanilla ice cream of the Mc Donalds heheh.

Very good fragance. I agree with my friend, he says that this perfume, in the future, will be discontinued and rare heheh.

Houdini4

Of all the various Fahrenheit incarnations I kind of had it in my head I wouldn't like this one
Because the bottle is white? Nah... not really.
Maybe it's because I felt Dior had gone a little far in stretching the fahrenheit brand. It was too much of a departure or dumbing down of what is a powerful and provocative fragrance which you either love or hate and shouldn't be tweaked to appeal to the masses.
However, just as with the aqua version it retains enough of the characteristics of the glorious original and puts a nice new spin on it.
It's very nice, floral quite vanilla but still has those violet and vetiver notes in there and is arguably more wearable than the original.
Not for me personally though...I find the vanilla a touch too feminine.
Despite this positive review I'm not rushing out to get myself a bottle either, just glad they didn't ruin an iconic scent.
I'm excepting of the fact that Fahrenheit needs alternate versions as it does get a bit much after a while.

Somehow I gave it another chance. And I didn't like it again. Smells like vanilla. Too sweet for a man, would be great on a woman.

Vanilla and Orange Blossom gives a female touch, then enters the vetiver and puts things in place, beautiful fragrance, more usual than the original, I think!!

Great Fragrance; the point is that it is very weird and like no other is the best part of this masterpiece;with a market of identical perfumes and releases every year; this great frag will always stand out..in the dry down I can find the personality of the original Fahrenheit...great fragrance for the great house DIOR..:)

Very nice smelling fragrance. I get a rich, gourmet vanilla. This one is one of my oldest daughter's favorites and it reaped a compliment from a co-worker which is always a blessing.

So... I erased my review from last night (did you notice?), donned a pink shirt (ala Marc's ancient video on this fragrance). Did he fix his teeth? And wore this guy (girl?) to work today, courtesy of Sephora and a weekend job at the mall. I couldn't get this fragrance out of my head. It's truly other-worldly, probably, the single-most unique fragrance for men I've ever smelled, and released about 15 years "ahead of its time". Man, if I didn't already love Dior enough, I admire them even more for having released something this progressive as a designer fragrance. This is the polar opposite of the original Fahrenheit. It's its doppelgänger. It's every single thing that the original is not, and in that regard, is an equally timeless, revolutionary, masterpiece. Just like it's dark half, Fahrenheit 32 is not for everyone, but also like it's more brooding brethren, one must be just as masculine, if not more so, to pull this modern iteration of the original off. The definition of contemporary masculinity has radically changed since Fahrenheit was first introduced a quarter century ago, and this fragrance release by Dior is keenly aware of this ongoing trend. I must say, I'm in love. To me, this smells like an icy, balmy, vanilla, floral/honeysuckle-covered watermelon, with touches of vetiver to keep it all in check. What could possibly be more opposite then the red hot smell of gasoline and motor oil of the original, yet still remain as ground-breaking, modern, masculine and as timeless to a new generation of men 25 years hence?. I believe that this was exactly the challenge Dior presented its perfumers in developing this perfume. They succeeded masterfully, and although many people will fail to appreciate or understand this fragrance, that's perfectly okay. Give yourselves another 10 years or so.

10/10 Beautuful, Modern, Masculinity, at its Finest. Another masterpiece by Dior. Wow.

Dries down to a balmy, beautiful, divine, coconut-accord of well lotioned, sun-kissed, healthy, glowing, skin. Heavenly.

so sweeeet but it is,of course,a good and quality fragrance, though it is not for those under the age of 30 years old

I like this a lot better than (what I suppose is the reformulated) Fahrenheit!

I didn't smell orange blossom when I sprayed it - I smelled a light mint which dried down to a mildly floral vanilla. Nice. Not great, but nice.

Note: There's vetiver in this? The same rather pungent grass that's in Guerlain's Vetiver? Wow. I do not smell any at all!

Today I sat next to a man for three hours, he was wearing Paco Rabanne Million, so it was a sillage battle between my Fahrenheit 32 and his Million. I could barely smell myself; Million won by a clear margin. That stuff projects like a toxic waste dump.

I do not smell any florals in Fahrenheit 32, to me it's all about musk. If put metaphorically, this scent smells like baby powder minus the innocence. It is still powdery fresh and soft, however its moral purity is somewhat...out of question. Great unisex fragrance!

Very unique to contrast vanilla against dry vertiver one of the most daring men's scents from Dior since the original Fahrenheit

Bought this after reading the positives, I purchased blindly fully knowing that this was considered to be a feminine fragrance, I can see why this would be considered feminine but I wouldn't say it is 100% I think it is more unisex if anything but a guy can pull this off without someone thinking he's wearing his girlfriends perfume. I get the sweetness, the freshness . I detect the vanilla and the vetiver no problem and this blends nicely together. I really like this one and it works well all year round, I wouldn't use it as my winter fragrance but my spring and autumn scent when it's not too warm and not too cold. Lasts well and projects well too. Seen a lot of people saying it's nauseating and causes headaches. I take severe migraines and suffer from partial sight loss and nausea with my migraines. Usually easily triggered but I never get this with any of my fragrances. I am easy on the trigger and use sparingly just enoug to do the job. Suggest others do the same

I brought this thinking it was something else, I had 5 different fragrances on and one that I liked I confused with this one and when I wore it the first time I realized the mistake I had made. I wore it out and got so many compliments and I love it ! so warming I get a smell of gingerbread sweetness. worth it if you like winter fragrances.

ryanmorgan

this is such a cold but not fresh smell, I get a pine sort of cypress smell at first then a cold vanilla.
This actually reminds me of Yves Saint Laurent La nuit d l'homme, without the warmth, I love it and great day time smell. and to transform into and evening smell just add YSL :-)

I don't enjoy this one much on men, but I do like it on myself occasionally. A lot of creamy vanilla plus some chilly citrus freshness, to me this fragrance is somewhere between warm and cold. Soft, light and not exactly masculine (this could easily be an unisex fragrance), it's not a safe one for a blind buy or a present.

It lasts very long, with moderate/heavy sillage.

i love orange blossom and vanille scent and it's have both. i love it. it's great perfume with great last longing. i had very compliments from that.i'm sure it's best dior perfume for men. 10/10

Many reviewers have expressed the notion that this offering from Dior is a love-loathe type of fragrance. I have to say, I bought it a couple of years back on a whim and found that I very rarely used it. Subsequently I gave it away to a friend. I now find myself drawn to it and feel I may have been a little hasty in terms of appreciating and understanding its subtle charms.

Powerhouse it definitely isn't - i feel it's a bit of a slow-burn. Patience with this refined offering will certainly pay dividends - so long as there was a little light inside you when you first smelt it. Dior, Dior, Dior - wonderful!

F32 has always been a magical kind of scent to me, very interesting, smooth and cool for an oriental, yet still a bit dry. I find this to be the odd-man-out in the Fahrenheit dept., but in a good way. This is vanilla, and it's center-stage, very well executed-not cloying or pastry like, sweet but masculine, grounded in soft woody vetiver. I've smelled this so many times but couldn't quite place it before, until it finally hit me: Alien EDT with its hint of citrus, even in its composition. Surprised it took me this long to notice the similarity, anyone else?

I just bought a 100ml bottle of Dior's Fahrenheit 32 and, although I paid the full retail price, I was like a kid in a candy store. This fragrance is nothing like La Nuit de L'Homme and that particular fragrance is one of my top five. Fahrenheit 32 has a very calming affect on me that's very much like the feeling I get when wearing Hanae Mori HM.

You simply cannot go wrong with the fragrance houses of Chanel and Dior, and they know it. Also, this is the first time ever that I'm saving the package. The mirror like box of Fahrenheit is pretty cool.

Caution: ONE SPRAY TO THE CHEST IS ALL YOU NEED!

Opening vanilla and orange blossom gives a fresh oriental tone that pleased me greatly. There has a proposal to Fleur du male, orange color associated with a sweeter note, however Fahrenheit 32 vetiver begins to emerge with about 15 minutes and gives an equilibrium point leaving less sweet fragrance and also less unisex. I used one spray on the wrist and lasted about 8 hours, but still need to wear a full review better.

I don't know what's wrong with my skin or with my nose, but to me longevity is poor, it hardly reaches the third hour. And I'm not even satisfied by the sillage: I have the impression that after less than half an hour it's already hard to smell any trail. But as far as now I used it only in the summertime, so I hope it is a question of excessive perspiration washing away the perfume. Hope to change my mind in winter.
About the fragrance I find it a bit annoying in the opening (too much "after-shavish", I would even say too much masculine, maybe that's the vetiver). Then after a few minutes the vanilla note unbridedly breaks out mixed with leaps of orange blossom and the scent becomes sweeter and really really enjoyable. But as I wrote above after half an hour it starts fading away (at least on my silly skin) and the idyll sadly turns into a slow decay: after ten hours I can still smell the scent close to my skin but by that time it has fatally turned into something much worse (something I would describe as harshly masculine and old-styled).

To put my review into context: as you've probably guessed, I'm new to the world of fragrance.

fresh_scents

I'm not sure if I either love it or hate Fahrenheit 32. Maybe I'm just not a fan of it's opening, but I do find myself going back for more after the dry down. Ok, I will buy a small bottle. It's definitely a unisex fragrance that I'm digging now.

is the vaporizer spray version of this as good as the original?

garett

Cuz , it might get discontinued , i got it yesterday , i couldnot control myself. This is like i am on some mountain eating ice cream , with snowy winds and frosty droplets on green leaves and grass all around.Longevity is good too, dont know how else to describe it.Frosty frosty fu**ing aura around it.

Sophisticated perfumers know that green notes and vanilla work beautifully together when done right (Pour un Homme de Caron, Green Valley, Habanita, Colors de Benetton), and Demachy was aiming for this classic effect in Fahrenheit 32. Did he hit the mark? Somewhat. The fragrance opens with a sumptuously soapy orange blossom and citrus accord, which dries into smooth floral notes of violet, rose, and honeysuckle - an ode to the original Fahrenheit. This floral stage isn't particularly attractive to me, as it seems a little grandiloquent and lipsticky. However, F32 continues to dry into a pleasant vetiver, enshrouded in cool vanilla. The vanilla here is truly frigid in comparison to others, and makes the base intriguing. Altogether a pleasant offering from Dior, but do test it with the original Fahrenheit, just to see if a truly avant-garde '80s honeysuckle composition from the same line is a better bet.

harlemmal

This is one of my top three cologne. It has great projection and it truly last all day. I always rec
eive compliments when I wear this.

karthiktas

Great Projection... Very Good Longevity. Unisex...
Caution: DO NOT OVER SPRAY....

This is among Fahrenheit is the most versatile. It reminds me of Yves l'homme as far as it what you can do with it. It's can be used anytime like l'homme...both have some floral notes in it with some sweetness. This o.e however but this one is more musky. kept some of its DNA from Fahrenheit but I like this one better.
