This perfume is so delicious. It’s creamy, sweet, and a little bit musky to the skin. I can see why on some people this might be too sweet or could smell very powdery, but for me it smells so so pretty, and I can’t help but continuously smell my skin when I put it on, which lasts a very long time. When I put it on in the morning I find that it lasts into the next day and melts into a skin scent but better. It’s definitely a more intimate scent where someone has to be next to you to smell it, but for me, that’s what makes it a great every day perfume! Absolutely in love with this perfume as a girl really trying to embrace my femininity more. Highly recommend if you want to smell pretty and sweet but not sickeningly so!

berimari

This is nothing like the other Chloé. It smells tropical, like mango and pineapple! I’m surprised these aren’t in the notes. I also smell the jasmine, the vanilla & the balsamic notes, which throw me off.

loveofparfum

A light floral perfume with a bit of sourness. It could easily be a signature scent. It can be used everday and every season. It’s very clean and calm. Longevity is about 4-6 hours on me. Sillage is moderate.

Biraz ekşilik barındıran, hafif çiçeksi bir parfüm. Kolayca imza parfüm olarak kullanılabilir. Her gün ve her mevsim kullanıma uygun. Temiz ve sakin bir parfüm. Kalıcılığı bende 4-6 saat oldu. Yayılım orta düzeyde bence. 8/10 bir parfüm. Genel beğeniye uygun.

vargadorkaluca

I am surprised it doesn't have any fruits in it. To my nose this is a simple fruity rose scent that is vanillin while maintaining a fresh profile. All year round wearable everyday scent. Nothing outstanding, reminds me of the Chloe Signature and Rose Naturelle but more vanilla.
For me it's a pass, it didn't impress me.

coquettelobotomy

Metalic rose, bit of jasmine, bit of powdery amber... I used to love his scent when i was younger, but now that i developed taste its too linear, too simple and too offensive. It dries down to JUST rose and lasts long, has a great sillage... it would most likely be great as a layering perfume but havent tried it yet. IF you like rose and rose only this is the one for you!

blackberryvines

I did not like this. Dusty florals and heavy and overwhelming amber, in-your-face kind of perfuminess.

I got this as a sample and tried it on 2 different occasions with my friend.

The first time, we both agreed it had too much of an older lady / office colleague vibe (we are both 25 and we were heading out to the club in that moment). It's fresh, slightly sweet, but overall, not outstanding in any way. It's a safe buy for a lady who likes floral fragrances.

The 2nd time we tried it, my friend mostly kept her original opinion, but I felt like this Chloé grew on me. Maybe it was because it had just rained, maybe it was the outfit I was wearing (more elegant, with flower patterns), or perhaps just the mood of that night, but the simplicity and femininity of this scent suddenly appealed to me.

The gorgeous bottle design and the latter experience are tempting me to buy this... But I will do more testing first. :)

Melis.t

Smells sweet in a cloying way. Maybe it does not match with my body chemistry and vibe. I like when sweetness is balanced with fresher notes.

vivaLVmarie

80% Dolce Devotion. I have both but this one WINS! Issue I have is that this perfume doesn't stay long unlike the previous flankers. What changed? Someone says Hi-chew? YES! Smells like candy. I even thought there was lemon note here but there's none. I like it tho. It's so likable. Smells less soapy compared to the OG.

radicaleah

My favorite fragrance. Absolutely beautiful. Very calming and comforting. I can't stop smelling myself when I wear this. It's versatile because it works for any age group, any season, any occasion, and any time of day. Can be worn to work or on a date.

Lasts all day on clothes and in my hair, and lasts about 6-8 hours on skin. It smells expensive, decadent, regal, cozy, creamy, classy, charming... and somehow, it's both fresh and warm at the same time. It's strong but not overpowering or cloying at all. It's just perfection in a bottle. It’s an addicting fragrance.

This smells like a woman in a cashmere sweater, reading a book with a candle lit. It's dreamy and sophisticated. Very feminine, inoffensive fragrance. It's an absolute LOVE for me. I can never be without this fragrance, so I will order backup bottles. Out of all of the fragrances I own, this one holds the #1 spot.

Edit: If you want to amplify the rose in Lumineuse, this layers very deliciously with Regime des Fleurs "Little Flower" by Chloe Sevigny.

sunnyviolets

I really feel like there's a note of mirabelle in here. Deliciously fruity on me without being too young. Love love love.

I understand the slight comparison to Hanae Mori, but Chloe Lumineuse is way more modern and doesn't smell like cleaner once it dries down.

A breezy sort of sophistication seldom found.

Honeydew Hi-Chew.

I have and love both the OG chloe and eau roses, both of which distill a sweet girly effervescence without becoming sickly or overly artificial. In all honesty I bought the largest bottle of lumineuse on sale at sephora a few days ago, hoping that this would be a realistic vanillic rose and curious to see if the bottle without a metal cuff would hold up over time (my eau rose is gets tarnished so quickly!). I have realized over the years that I prefer realistic and aromatic florals and this checks neither of these boxes, but will remain in rotation as it will certainly be a good everyday school scent.

Lumineuse opens as a slightly harsh but sweet artificial abstract floral, very amateurish, nothing new. It settles to a simplistic creamy floral, continuing with the slight astringency (this could be from the patchouli which can lean sour) that doesn't blend very well to my nose. It is disappointingly cheap smelling due to this clash and the prevalence of patchouli vanillas in the market. Throughout, to me, it is a sour fruity sort of vanilla - the sweet and common vanilla smelled across drugstore body lotions - as opposed to the nutty, pure, edible or savoury that I tend to prefer. The dry-down is sweet, soapy and creamy, with a little floral waft, pleasant and inoffensive.

There is something about this that is charming to me out of the bottle and on clothes, and though it took me a while to figure out what this perfume reminded me of, now that I smell it I can't UNsmell it, especially on paper/clothes. A Hi-Chew! It is a very realistic experience of an overly processed sweet. Opening the paper of a chewy Japanese candy, the waxy, sugared surface under your thumb and the imitation flavour, made in the same factory as the scents for a fluffy floral body lotion flooding your taste buds. The combination of vanilla, abstracted florals and patchouli so well approximates that little green melon candy to me!

vibrant.girl

This is a beautiful classic amber-vanilla-jasmine. I could see this being a great "first big girl" perfume, a gift for a new mother, a wedding scent, or a lounging-at-home perfume. It is a little more traditional floral than I enjoy, but I'm so glad I sampled this little lovely -- it is absolutely signature scent worthy!

Elixa

Jasmine - vanilla all the way through

Very first spray is strong, bitter-sour jasmine.
After a while, vanilla starts to come out.
Dry down is beautiful vanilla with jasmine in the background.
It's rather crisp (bitter-sour vanilla) on my dry skin.

Sillage is moderate. Quite long lasting.

Veronica.johansen

Wow ! This took me by surprise ! I love the OG Chloe chloe. This is totally different. Warm, vanilla rose scent. Clean girl vibes & certanly work friendly. At the same time I feel like this can be a signature scent ❤️

cookygirl

This is not for me.
It smells very synthetic and one-dimensional to my nose.
Gives me the same vibe as that butter-flavored extract in my pantry that I can never bring myself to use because I just know that whatever I bake with it will have that tell-tale artificial and ever so slightly bitter after taste.

DarlingNikki

Chloe has slipped into a glittery little black dress that skims above the knees, cloaked it with an ankle length faux black mink coat and is quietly purring next to you with promises, promises twinkling in melting dark eyes. This is a 9 out 10 love at first sniff blind buy knock out! Sweet, balsamic, round, full, amber-vanilla scent that is cocooning and welcoming. This smiles and winks and coyly begs to be snuggled into for close sniffing. Definitely not what I was expecting, but slay me queen, slay me!

Ofirofka

I think this is definitely one of my top 5 of all times! I love how feminine and delicate that is, when i smell it i feel like im in paris walking down the street with a bouquet of flowers i just bought wearing a flowy dress and the sun is gently striking my face.
First i smell most the white floral with the powdery notes, after it sits on my skin for about an hour the vanilla note rises and im in love

Thesmellofmynose

This is just a beautifull scent. A creamy warm and soft vanilla that lingers all dag close to the skin. Longlivity is great. Think its best cooler weather as the vanilla night get too powering during hot summer days but havent tested it. It stands out from Chloe caus the other perfumes of this brand are not my taste at all. This is beautifull though.

girldeadbug

Oh man I tried this on a whim at Sephora yesterday, was NOT expecting to fall so hard, I had to have it, I was so sad to leave it there (cus fk paying retail lol). Can’t even remember what I smelled. I had zero clue about what the notes were. I just knew I had that OMG I MUST HAVE IT reaction and took a pic so I wouldn’t forget how much I loved it.

I don’t like this bottle design though. The bottle is all glass, no kitschy rusting metal cover on top. The ribbon is almond beige with red stitching. Ugly, sorry.

Lykopa

This was a total impulse purchase. I smelled this once, and immediately bought it. It’s smooth and buttery, but still bright and floral. Flirty and feminine and ambery in a very light sunshine way. The smells like you just woke up after a great night in clean sheets to pancakes made by your partner.

MareaCamacho

I absolutely love and adore this flanker. I tested this at Macy's and when I walked out I immediately got a buttery vanilla amber scent that reminded me of something I used to know. I went back that night right before they closed and bought me the 3.3oz.
😍

I've never been wowed by a Chloe fragrance before, though I've thought some were nice. This morning I was browsing the Penhaligon and Creed counters at a department store that doesn't exist where I live, and someone came to give me this sample card from the Chloe counter. I was certainly wowed by this one. After leaving the store, I was still sniffing the card so I went back to try it on my skin, and tonight I bought the travel spray (to fit better on the plane). After a couple of hours it became a skin scent that I still smell, after just 1 spritz to the wrist. It was very beautiful in the beginning with notable florals, the rose was refreshingly blended with the jasmine and didn't get into the territory of "stuffy tea room with prim old ladies." The warmest vanilla that almost has a sandalwood quality is still lingering 10 hours later. For comparison, I did test Luna on the other wrist and this outlived it by a long shot.

Lunele

I was just going to write "delicious" and leave it at that. But then I thought it would probably be good to leave something more specific. And that is that the projection and sillage... isn't. And that's fine, because I like to wear fragrances primarily for myself and inhaling this one throughout the day has a real and immediate uplifting effect. It doesn't have a lot of staying power, so I have to re-apply - also fine, because I like the opportunity to go through the notes again. They are blended so well that it's mostly an amber experience but the initial hit of jasmine layered on top of that is primo. It becomes like a skin sent for me. I got the travel size as my first purchase, so a re-spritz or two during the day is that much more do-able. I think it's very versatile - day, night, year round.
Update: I bought a full bottle and it's a lovely, vanilla-y layering scent, in addition to being yummy on its own. Today, I layered it with Delina La Rosee and it was orgasmic.

Casbag11

Wow… i love this… a modern less soapy and more sexy version of the original edp. Good lasting on me. I love the Chloe line and was recently leaning more towards nomade edt which I love and wear a lot but it doesn’t last very long… this smells similar but more sexy with the amber note. New signature scent. Not boring at all… this has depth and can be worn year round for an amber floral fragrance.

Also.. I own nomade natural… this does not smell like that… way less sweet. I love that one too but no not the same

Elle's Bells

So friggin' pretty. I let my bottle sit for a couple of weeks due to being shipped in freezing temps and I'm so glad that I did. When I sprayed it again, I first recognized the infamous Chloe DNA. There is certainly an effervescent feel when you first spray, but as it begins to settle the jasmine and amber come to the forefront and that's when I swoon. It's the same jasmine note used in Nomade Jasmine Naturelle.

I wouldn't call this a linear fragrance as it takes you on a journey throughout the wear. I found myself constantly smelling my arms with anticipation of what I was going to smell next. It's a LOVE!!!!

ShayChan

Someone in the comments referred to this as dopamine inducing and I totally agree 😍. Whenever I put the nozzle to my nose my eyes roll back ughhh it's sooo good! The only other perfume that has the same effect on me is BR540 but they are different perfumes. This Chloe is my white crisp button up shirt with medium wash jeans, a black belt with gold buckle and accessories; a clean look with a laid back luxury feel.
❤❤❤

gabriellereina

This perfume is so lovely and dopamine-inducing. Smells like a floral caramel orgasm in a Brooklyn apartment with the sun shining through the windows that are slightly open to let in a sweet breeze.

The opening is more bright and floral, and the scent develops into a warmer, cozier creamy vibe. This fragrance is so versatile that it can be worn in any season, and I can pick up memories and the vibe of every season with each whiff.

The only downside is that it either doesn’t last super long or I become noseblind to it. However, being a fan of many perfumes with natural oils in them, it is to be expected to need to re-apply with high quality ingredients. It’s not a deal-breaker for me.

This perfume is a good fit for those who enjoy Burberry Goddess, Mon Guerlain and MG Intense, and maybe even fans of Flowerbomb. This quite possibly may become my signature scent due to its versatility.

08310831

A very generic sweet amber with something tropical at the background. Good projection and huge lasting power.

Astara_Elaria

Just an addition to my former review: my husband complimented me several times on this one, maybe it's my most complimented fragrance by him.
To my surprise, he doesn't perceive the amber/balsamic notes as sweet or as thick/buttery, but as "maritim/marine". He really said: "How fresh you smell, like Venus coming from the sea."
Maybe it's a very individual experience with this one. I also think, the sillage smells quite different compared to the smell close to skin. In the sillage, it remains (sweet) Orange blossom, Rose, Jasmin and Magnolia to my nose, close to skin it's all about amber. The whole is more than the sum of its parts, and I'm happy that there is no hype on this one, so it kind of belongs to me 😉.

meganlamode

When I first sprayed Lumineuse, I thought there was sandalwood or some sort of woodsy note - I got that dreaded pickle smell that sometimes occurs with heavy woodsy fragrances. I guess it's the balsamic notes? It fades away, though, and the dry down is more pleasant - very creamy from the amber and vanilla. It's just an ok scent to me, though - nothing special, and is even reminiscent to BR540 and all of its imitators.

ballerinanoir

Very House of Chloe.
The drydown is a lot similar to Love Story, that peculiar apple-ish scent I recognized pretty well.

For the ones who like Chloe Signature, I suggest you give it a try. There is a bit of vanilla in this, but is a very delicate scent.

Low sillage. Average lasting power (5-6 h).

fragrance_girl

A big like at first sniff and a positive surprise. It immediately brought a smile to my face.

I like it so much because it's quite different from the original Chloe that I was never a fan of. It's Chloe for those who don't like the Chloé-like florals.

How does it smell?
Based on the name, I was expecting something more light and effervescent, but it turned out to be something different and better than what I expected.
It is more of a sweet, warm floral. Well-rounded. The drydown is lovely - sweet, honey-like, in an almost syrupy way, but still bright enough. Think of a sun in a leisurely afternoon in the late summer and warm air near a fragrant garden of flowers.

I would wear it anywhere in early spring or late summer, day or evening, low humidity weather.

Among my top 2 scents from this line, next to Chloé Intense Natural Rose. Well done.

paulamurrrz

I have to say, this perfume is gorgeous, it definitely has the chloe DNA. I’ll almost get like an efervescente bubbly scent. It’s definitely on the sweeter side, I’d have to say this would be a great summer perfume or perhaps for those transition months. I really like it but I wouldn’t pay full retail for it..

Astara_Elaria

The saleswoman at the Chloe-Counter told me that this perfume would contain a lot more notes, especially Orange Blossom and Magnolia. I thought, she was maybe confusing it with another fragrance from the Signature line. Nevertheless, I did a skin test that evening.
When I woke up next morning, these two notes were exactly what was left on my skin: Orange Blossom and Magnolia with an amber backbone and only a tad of vanilla. That made it much more interesting! I did the test again, and while I am recovering from Covid, I can smell it now also in the top notes: Orange Blossom, Magnolia and Mandarin! It evokes the image of an amber colored light - so it is "lumineuse" for me, even a bit glowing.

To sum it up, this evokes Christmas feelings for me. Yes, it has a *very* pronounced amber note that you have to like to enjoy this perfume. And of course, I know that it contains ambrox. But if I can forget that fact for one minute, I don't sense it as amber, but as a woody scent that is full of fir resin. Together with the Orange smell in the top note, it gives this christmas feeling. Smells like preparing the Christmas tree with my father, while Mum fills up our plates with mandarin oranges; she is wearing her holiday fragrance. Oh, happy memories🌟. So, some good and simple joy in the designer segment, that has a bit of an edge, enough to keep the interest going.

lilyfarwest

In the very first opening i strangely get this fresh mandarin note that ,unfortunately, quickely fades into this sweet jasmin accord.
As it dries down i get this solar vanilla, amber blend.
This frangrance is happy and uplifting and it wears its name 'Lumineuse'.

13Sweetness

The first 5’ I feel like a young girl but after that just like 50+. Too strong!!!! I wouldn’t recommend it.

Kristen_Marie183

Something maybe solar or buttery here, it's got that thick warm creamy feeling that those two accords can give. Not getting much rose or patchouli at all. I usually don't like the Chole line but love this one.

aldinatic

Nice and feminine, creamy vanilla, slight rose
...but headace inducing for me

joikgirl

What a surprise this one was! I didn't even see the news in the summertime of it coming but few weeks ago was in my local perfume shop and was confused to see it- so of course I tried it..next thing I did was purchase it!

This is my first Chloe fragrance but not the first one on my ’want list.’ I love how versatile it is, literally wearable every season, every occasion or time of day. Light, ambery and fun would be the three words for this fragrance. Every single note is out and noticeable and all of them suit together. A huge pluss is how long-lasting it is, even after 5+ hours.

LSAUG

This reminds me of Cody vanilla fields. If you are going to spend a lot $$$ for a natural perfume this isn't the one to do it on. Pretty but not unique or special enough to justify the price point. A nice slightly floral (rosy) amber vanilla. Expensive for what you are getting.

miarose

On the paper strip, this one had a lot of promise. It was heady and creamy florals, with a lovely, slightly resinous amber/vanilla base. So, of course, I decided to spritz it on my arm in store. Sad but necessary. On my skin, it turned into a disappointingly basic amber and vanilla, and lost most of that lovely creaminess and that bit of balancing spicy resin. This is why I always have to test on my skin. What a complete turnaround for me, and a sad one at that. Such promise. I hope this works better for others, so definitely test it on skin before buying. I have my favorite amber scents, and this one doesn't come close to those as an amber scent.

gardenia9

Sorry to the lovers in advance. If I had smelled it blindfolded I would have never guessed it was a Chloé.
Unbalanced floral notes, extremely sweet vanilla and the seemingly trending popcorn/nutritional yeast/ butter accord.
Boring and outrageously expensive for what it has to offer.

kianilla

I wanted to like this but it’s just not for me. It doesn’t smell bad just not my vibe I guess. Like Park.K.Bae said there is a weird savory butter smell. If anyone has smelled le mond Gourmands perfume MAÏS SOUFFLÉ EAU DE PARFUM it smells like that kind of sweet creamy popcorn? I saw some lady make popcorn ice cream on TikTok and how this smells in the dry down is how I think it would taste 😭. It also kind of smells like Ariana grandes thank you next. Definitely test before you buy if you can. I blind bought this because my Ulta didn’t have a tester out and I hate to return it but at least now maybe they can use it for a tester 😂 it’s just not worth keeping for me but if I smelled it on someone else I would think they smelled nice

Safira

Both not what I expected and then exactly what I expected! It's beautiful, well-rounded and creamy once it settles. It has a very fresh, tart opening, almost citrusy that quickly settles into blissful sweetness (maybe the opening is the lumineuse part?). Sillage is moderate, but longevity is actually pretty good and above average. It's nothing like the original, and I barely get any rose in this one, but it's delightful - and really shines on cool, crisp autumn days. I blind bought this, and consider it's pretty safe for blind buying, but then again I've yet to encounter a Chloé perfume that I don't care for.

Ethereal Love

This is absolutely beautiful to me, but you have to love amber for this fragrance. For me, this is an upgrade from the original which is very soapy. I agree with another previous reviewer that there is nothing light or luminous/sparkly to me about this fragrance (to my nose). This is a sweet resinous amber with a hint of floral. My only complaint is that I wish there was just a bit more rose in this fragrance. The rose is very much in the background but that doesn't take away from its beauty.

Park.K.Bae

This is almost all amber and balsamic notes to me, with a bit of jasmine. It smells very buttery and almost savory. Almost nutty? It has a warmth to it. While I couldn't detect rose, it does share a certain delicateness with the Chloe line. The wear time is decent (5-6 hours). I think less sprays are "more" with this one. I'm glad to see a departure from the usual fresh floral style of Chloe. Personally, I don't enjoy buttery scents.

bear_junior

As already mentioned - this one is quite different than the original one, it's extremely sweet at the very beginning, as for me it smells a bit like a chocolate on my skin. I was full of hope regarding this one, as I love jasmine and vanilla and roses, but in fact I'm a bit disappointed that it has nothing in common with signature one. However it is a nice, sweet scent.

islandgirlmaranda

This doesn't have really any of the original Chloe DNA that I have come to love and become my signature scent over the years. This it to me is nearly identical to Irresistible Velvet Rose which I already own. No need to have both. This is getting returned.

violeteme

Chloe? This seems like another similar to Paradoxe, Voce Viva creation. Very sweet, lots of vanilla, I don't get any luminosity. Beautiful dry down, cozy sweetness, but it is quite overwhelming at the start.

ninaaeyo

Too much amber

Nataja

Very beautiful scent ❤️

celestial

This does indeed smell heavenly and somehow angelic. It's ambery, rosy and has gentle sweetness. Chloe Lumineuse is completely different from the original Chloe in that it's not fresh and the rose is not as strong as in the original. As it dries down I get wafts of airy sweetness/amber and something unpleasant/chemical/synthetic. This scent is somewhat nostalgic as it reminds me of something I have smelled a long time ago.

camilla15

something about it reminded me of the amber in BR540. very different from chloe edp which is a fav in my collection. very syrupy and sticky

Aurorecita

This new flanker of Chloe has nothing to do with the original and reminds me more of Good Girl by Carolina Herrera although à little bit softer. The jasmine really sparkles and even if not mentionned in the ingredients there seem to be some citruses which add freshness. I can also smell the vanilla and amber which make it soft and creamy. A very enjoyable and sparkly perfume, which sends good vibes. Very easy to wear and pleasant. I recommend it!

HannahRosesAreRed

There is nothing like a clean, white floral, especially Chloe style. The balsamic notes in the base sound promising. Maybe it will lend a piney accord, or even better, a little longevity. The amber and vanilla also suggest that this could be a good cool-weather white floral. Time will tell.

I'll probably test this as opposed to blind-buying it–I could see this potentially veering into Mugler Alien territory where it could be divisive but super cool.

Anastasiajn

Sounds like a must for me! I love the modern Chloe's and the Nomade's. I will blind buy this, because they are so consistent. I think they've done a really great job of converting to "naturelles". I think they ae leading the industry and setting a great example!
