212 Sexy Carolina Herrera for women

To me it sounds like a newer version of Cerutti 1881, and a worse one. Even though the notes listed are different, it's extremely similar in the sum of things, not the same, but the vibe is extremely similar (I have tested them sprayed on different hands, it's not a comparison from memory!). This one is sweeter, like a cheap candy.

Musks sit well on my skin, to me it's not "chemical" or "sharp", it's fine, no issues. It just doesn't last over 4 hours on skin (I have a tiny tester, so I didn't try it on clothes or hair).

However, while seeming negative, I actually do recommend you try it. It's nice and inoffensive, it's girlishly cheerful, but not fizzy, just positive. It's one of the better typical 1995-2005 perfumes.

I would never have bought this based on the packaging and name. I always find CH looks tacky, but I smelled it on a friend back in 2007, she was Brazilian and I understand this was quite popular there whereas I had never heard of it. I thought it was gorgeous so I got a bottle so it reminds me of that time in my 20s.I loved it then and I like it now, though these days I usually only reach for it at bedtime. It's nice after a shower, it's soft and sensual, I like to keep a bottle in my collection even if I don't wear it much.

It is sexy, and while it has cotton candy sweetness, it's soft, fluffy and delicate. Not a screechy in your face gourmand which I don't like. If I was a man I would love to smell this on a woman, it evokes sexy soft woman's skin, very sensual.

I have wanted this perfume since it came in the shops, about 2004, and now finally it's mine!

The sexiest perfume I've ever owned!

This is and has always been, one of my must have perfumes since its release. I’m never without it and buy direct from their website. I find it intoxicating. I don't class this as gourmand, even though it leans ever so slightly sweet ish. I dont think perfumes that smell of full on gourmand sweets or cakes are sexy, more motherly woman baking cookies type. This perfume, well, It’s a class of its own and timeless. Out of any perfume i’ve ever worn, this has given me the most compliments from both men and women. Its the one perfume I will never let go and also the only perfume in the Carolina Herrera line that I love. Good girl etc seem to have a somewhat metallic chemical strength to them that I cannot bare to be around, but this 212 sexy is exactly what it is, sexy, but also classy with a glamorous feel.

This is so good. 20 years later and still sexy as hell. The name is awful but the scent it’s a sweet musky heaven. Just found out that in some European countries is still sold and I couldn’t resist. Lovely and in your face sexy and fun.

This is far too powdery for me and I just don't see it having much sex appeal at all. It feels rather dated, but man is the longevity on this insane! I have slept and showered after a full day of having it on and it's still there. So, if you happen to love the scent, you will appreciate the staying power. Just not my vibe.

Eu coloquei no meu braço. Tem um cheiro puxado pro talco, bem comum e com projeção bem baixa. Pode ser usado por qualquer pessoa, idade e hora do dia. Mais sobre o aroma, tem cheiro doce de roupa de uma mulher madura, uma roupa que está limpa e cheirosa mas a muito tempo guardada. Uma mistura de talco com guarda roupa com um docinho delicado jovial mas que se mescla muito com o fundo que se destaca um pouco mais e lembra essência de senhora (aquelas que as mulheres mais velhas gostavam de usar antigamente, um cheiro de rosas bem fechado).

Não é ruim a ponto de não conseguir usar mas eu não gostei. Não é um perfume que bateu aquele click e me incomoda o cheiro mais maduro de fundo. Só que é um usável por ter um aroma tão suave e genérico de um "perfume bom" que creio que a maioria das pessoas poderia usar mesmo que não fosse um preferido também.

This has been one of my favorite perfumes since I first got it 10 or 11 years ago. "Sexy" is truly the perfect name for this. I definitely get the pink pepper and musk, but it is the smoothest pink pepper and musk ever. The cotton candy and caramel add that beautiful sweetness, but I take it one step further and layer this with Sweet Like Candy for the most delicious, sensual, musky cotton candy scent.

Perfection in the bottle! It's sexy, a little fresh, floral and musky. Not too sweet either just perfectly balanced. Great lasting power as well. I just hate the bottle though, but still it's a love at first sniff.

Well, wouldn't you know, just as I was thinking about revisiting this old friend, I find out it's been discontinued. Stock up now, or just have yet another fragrant memory?

I can see where it wouldn't fit the bill these days because while it is sweet, it is not gourmand, but also doesn't fit into the currently popular Woody/Musky/Floral category either. A lovable oddball that doesn't always behave (heat and one spray too many make it downright torture), but handled with care, can be catnip. Part hippie, part 2000s party girl, this sweet, peppery gardenia and I had some very good times together, and for that I will always be grateful.

This is weird: i've never bought it in the end, but each time i was trying it in the store, it smelled differently!

Baby product type musky rose and violet mixed with some sort of fresh green note and airy sugary smell. I don't get much pepper. Maybe a little kick in the opening but it's not prominent throughout the life of the fragrance.

It's inoffensive, cute, but a little sterile and not as gourmand as I imagined (I thought I'd get sweet and spicy with a musky kick, I got a clean musk with a slightly sweet-spicy kick.) I think if you liked Pink Sugar as a teen, you might graduate to something like 212 Sexy for a work scent. They aren't similar but the hint of sweetness in 212 is the kind of sweetness in Pink Sugar (rubbery cotton candy with a burnt sugar feeling.)

I don't see this as a sexy, trashy, clubby '00s scent like other people seem to.

I find it funny when people get mad when fragrances get too mainstream. At some point in life, all parties started smelling like 212 sexy, and because of that, people connect the scent to a "vulgar" place. This is so silly. It got mainstream because it was a solid 7.5, easy to buy, and a crowd-pleaser with a great price, not because it is vulgar. Isn't it what has been happening with Dior Sauvage now? Should we disregard the amazing fragrance that it is only because we smell it everywhere?

I got this baby when I was 18, and I don't regret it. Went to a fragrance store, tried whatever they had there, and chose it. I only chose It because I didn't have the money to buy it. So, I asked a friend that was coming from a US trip to get it for me for a lower price. And, man, I wore it until the last drop. All year long (but summer), day and night. If you controlled the spray, you were good.

For me, this brings memories of what my 2010s smelled like: clean, soft, fresh, young, and sexy.

Side note: If I had tried 212 VIP at the time, I would probably have gone for it instead of Sexy -as, after all, I am a vanilla sucker.

Just came in the mail. At this point in collecting I'm not able to pick out notes. But I can say this is a very satisfying fragrance. Opening is good and dry down is especially good. I can see myself wearing this often. I would wear this in all seasons and look forward to seeing how it performs year 'round.
IMO this would be a great blind buy with no hesitation.

Calling this perfume "sexy" is quite the stretch... That's all I can say. Good thing it's discontinued.

Offensive, vulgar, cheap.

Misleading perfume name. You might think it’s fun, girly and SEXY but all I got was a weird cloying and unisex scent instead.

Just found out this morning (3/8/2023) via a Carolina Herrera online chat representative that this fragrance -- along with "212 Sexy Men" -- has been discontinued.

I guess this explains the absence of them on CarolinaHerrera.com as of late.

I found my perfume. I never thought it would be such a popular, sweet fragrance, since my last signature fragrance was the discontinued Versace Versense (R.I.P.), an utterly fresh unisex fragrance. Well, after searching and searching, I'm happy with this new one. Before 212 Sexy, other strong contenders for my signature were Chance Eau Fraiche, Chloé, Idôle, Hypnose, Aura, and Alien. There were also some others made in Brazil that are unknown abroad. If you took the time to read all of this, I wish you find a fragrance with which you'll fall in love, if you haven't yet!

Pleasant, soft powdery sweetness with a little kick of spice - I like it, however not enough to repurchase. That said, it has piqued my interest in similar perfumes that I wouldn't have previously considered. Based on this, I would say it is a good introduction to soft, musky perfumes.

The pink pepper, cotton candy, musk and caramel notes are all prevalent to me. I would say it is more romantic and comforting rather than sexy, I like an element of mystery to my more alluring perfumes, and mysterious this is not. It is attractive in a cosy, girl-next-door sort of way, and while I can't say I will reach for it an awful lot it does tick the box when I want something inoffensive and comforting.

Longevity is moderate, projection sits closely to the skin. All in all, a pleasant fragrance, but no 'wow' factor for me personally.

Edit - contrary to my previous words, I actually reach for this often - enough to have purchased a full bottle! Great when I want to feel feminine, pretty and put together. This one really grew on me - lovely perfume.

I was anticipating a nice, subtle gourmand, but all I got was citrus light florals!

At first I found this a bit old fashioned but now I'm really enjoying it. It's not sweet in the gourmand, cotton candy sweet that it's listed as. It's a subtle, powdery sweet with enough oomph behind it to be mature.
Would I call it sexy? No. It's not date night material, it's better suited to day time wear and it has weak sillage.

Would I repurchase? Maybe. It has a vibe that's unique in my collection. If I could describe the scent it would be; nostalgia and peach bellinis at a garden party.

It's OK. A bit too powdery for me but it's a good occasion scent.

I dont mind this, its not particularly show stopping to me. Inital hit is peppery citrus and to me that pretty much sums it up. It has a touch of sweetness but honestly to me its not overly complex. Slightly peppery, slightly powerdy. But overall I can't sense the cotton candy and I can't get past the pepper.

I purchased a sample vial, but I'm wondering if I received the wrong fragrance.

I love pink pepper and sweet fragrances. But I don't detect any pink pepper or cotton candy in this fragrance. I smell a strong white floral scent mixed with with sun-dried linens. It's not a bad smell, just not what I was expecting.

14 years ago, someone gave me this as a present and I thought it was too sweet and strong for me, despite all of the compliments I used to get anytime I wore it. Now, I got it with a very good price and close to my forty's, I get what people arround me used to smell and I adore it. Though my favourite fragrances are floral and citruses, I really find this one so sexy without being intrusive or vanilla sweet. So glad I gave it another chance.

When I use this perfume, I think I have the duality of being both fragile and strong. The sugary sided 'damsel in distress' vibe from flowers and cotton candy becomes distressing, as notes of musk and patchouli begin to emerge. Loved to wear this, I come back to this perfume from time to time.

My nose really likes this, although it's not "love" yet.
In the opening it gives me slight "masculine, spicy" vibes. Then it proceeds into this interesting and peppery sweetness (I assume it's the cotton candy and caramel note). After that what I get is slight powderinnes (almost like iris or violet or something like that) but it's not that noticeable. Beside that, I definitely get the patchouli in the background.
Overall, it's a sweet perfume, but not that sweet. :P sillage and longevity are moderate on me.

212 Sexy is a nostalgic scent I grew up smelling on my sister circa 2006-2009, I've always thought I'd get myself a bottle since I love the original 212 but I never got around to it until my boyfriend (who also takes a keen interest in my fragrant hobby) got me a 100ml pill.

The packaging is unmistakable, a satin metallic cylinder to which two 50ml orbs of perfume attach at either end, a really unique way of packaging perfume in my opinion and I like that I can just take an orb with me when I'm traveling rather than taking the whole bottle, it saves so much space in my bag!

This is undeniably a 212 flanker, the opening is bright, sharp and crisp with mandarin and bergamot, something reminds me a lot of the original 212 at this point which I think is the combination of mandarin and bergamot, pink pepper pops out and smooths out the sharpness from the citruses giving some sweet spikiness. By the 30 minute mark, I can smell some soft florals which I presume are the gardenia and violet with something a little bit metallic, its a similar metallic undertone thats present in the original 212, but there is some sweetness, its not sticky or sickly sweet its more airy and fresh, I think maybe its the cotton candy note. After an hour, 212 sexy turns into a fresh sweet musk which is warm but not cloying, vanilla, musk and sandalwood help to give the base some heft, but it never feels heavy or like it imposes on anyone else.
I do believe 212 Sexy is the right name for this, but its not outwardly sexy, it accentuates the wearers natural sexiness and allure, its not bitchy and never screams for attention but it always turns heads and gathers compliments (I got 2 in one day when I was wearing it on the train!)

The longevity is excellent with 212 Sexy lasting 8hrs on my skin, I get a moderate silage which gets noticed but is in no way choking or sickeningly sweet, if anything I find it so easy and enjoyable to wear. I'd say its suitable for winter spring and fall, maybe quite possibly also summer since it is quite light and airy, I can't see why it wouldn't work in an office setting but I think its better suited to casual wear and going out though.
Repurchase worthy for sure!

A sweet spicy musk. Love it. It is a clean but sugary sweet scent at the same time. I get the cotton candy, pepper and musk the most from this fragrance.

This is quite a nice fragrance, it's not too intense so can be easily worn during the day. I really loved the combination of its musky, powdery and floral accords. However, I must add that I got disappointed with it after third or fourth application because for some reason the scent started resembling soap 🙈 so I'm definitely not going to buy the whole bottle

To me the opening is almost identical to Angel Muse--very sweet and juicy. I really had to struggle to perceive a difference--maybe I get the florals, a bit? The dry down is definitely more floral. I adore Angel Muse, so I'm okay with the similarity, but I hope something else will open up with this one as I continue to wear it.

Update: I've worn this a few times now, and it's so pretty! I still find it very similar to Angel Muse at first--I think the pink pepper and caramel are really prominent in the opening. The dry down is much lighter, and the florals really come through as this evolves. I get the powdery accord on my clothing, but not on my skin, which is interesting. I wore this to bed last night, and when I woke up I was really feeling the rose and violet. A lovely fragrance.

It's all about musks n spices. I dont get any other hints like powder and anything sweet. Maybe yes a little bit after a few loooong minutes. The citrus is just fine, but I expected it could be something more sophisticated n classy from carolina herrera.

I bought a 100ml bottle. The peppery spiciness resembles Chanel chance edp opening. If I don't have Chance edp, I will be impressed. I think it's not as enveloped or strong as chance.
I do agree to some reviews that it is spicy to a point of minty at first.
After a few wears, I am used to the spiciness. In the air, It smells a bit flowery and candy sweet, very clean kind.
I like it in the same way as Armarni Si. They are of the same vibe to me. Feminine, soft, pleasant, a small dose of innocence, long lasting with pach and musk as base. They're definitely sexy in man's eyes. I simply like plain beautiful scents.

This perfume actually morphs on me! I love it in warm weather. When I'm in the house 212 sexy smells like a sweet , cotton candy with a little musk but as soon as I step outside it smells so different! Outside it is a clean sweet rose and has a green bitter fresh note...i don't know what it is. Its not patch...its possibly iris a very green bitter iris mixed with sweet rose and musk a little pink fluffy cotton candy. Its so strange to me that this greenness appears outside and smells so different than worn in the house. It lasts forever on my clothes and skin and sillage is incredible. I love it!

Wearing this and didn't think about it as i was wfh in front of my ltop.. my bubble thought popped up this fresh minty sweet toothpaste. Mmmhhh.. it's not bad just not singular.

Unfortunately powdery scents and my chemistry do not get along. this turned into a nasty bouquet of santi-hut stench, covered in air freshener and baby powder. Had to shower immediately. I am very grateful I only purchased a tester vial of this. powder gets completely out of control on my skin and completely dominates the whole smell.

Soft & sweet with a hint of spice as well as some beautiful rose. This definitely isn’t the beast type fragrance I typically prefer but it's nice for hot weather or a romantic date.

It's funny to watch myself changing: back in 2014, I would die for this bottle. I was young and poor so couldn't afford to buy more than one bottle of perfume so I remember how I would come to the perfume store to spray myself with this perfume and many others as well. I'm so happy I trained my nose and now I see 212 from a different angle. How generic it is. Plastic rose with plastic spices with a sweet vanilla base. It's funky and fun but not for me. I'd send this bottle to me in 2014 to make myself happy back then.

I finally got my hands on this. I tested this years ago in the store and remember pink pepper and sweet musk. Now I only smell the sweet notes? I can barely smell pink pepper? Has this been reformulated? Or did I get a fake bottle? The bottle looks very legit but I have come across very good knockoffs. I remember a strong scent but now its like a weak sweet celeb scent? Smells like Can Can by Paris Hilton.

I’m so confused by this fragrance... it smells like cologne. If this is one of those frags that smells like crap until it really dries down, forgive me. I was repulsed by the initial spray. I sprayed it on paper but it was so unpleasant, I didn’t want to spray my skin. I’ll give an update if I change my mind.

Sweet, feminine, sexy, sultry. It is a great perfume for those who like sweet perfumes but are sensitives when is about sweet smells or perfumes in general. I use this for years and didn't have a problem in feeling sick from it. I smell mostly the cotton candy with vanilla and sandalwood with a little wax in it but not in a disturbing way ( the same wax I feel in Very Irresistible from Givency). It's definitely great for an romantic date night. Always this perfume will be special for me because I wear it the first time I met the love on my life so I consider somehow that brought me luck, lol.

When I take a whiff of this I mostly get the pepper and bergamot at the top, followed by rose and then the sandalwood barely there in the background. 212 Sexy is quite sharp from the pepper and spicy more than it is sweet, to me. I really don't get the cotton candy at all and would not have guessed that was a note. I picked up on a white floral, I'm guessing the gardenia although it didn't scream gardenia to me. I can smell the musk and vanilla but only a bit. After it dries down, I find there to be a soapy quality. StarryNight2 said "damp skin after you just took a shower and the smell of a bar of soap still lingers" and I immediately understood and could see where they were coming from, perhaps just a spicier bar soap. I honestly find this too spicy and not rounded or creamy enough for me. It smells a bit generic, something easy to find at a department store and I prefer more unique, indie fragrances.

Used to be my signature and for it I left my first review here on Fragrantica, back in 2010.
It was love at first sniff.
The only reason I no longer own it is because the market is so diverse and I kept exploring other options over the years and my wishlist is a rollercoaster and I try to keep in line.
It was my first gourmand and it will always have a place in my heart.

212 Sexy by CH is one of those perfumes that came to me as a gift, many years ago, and for that reason I was grateful to have it, but being honest, the packaging was the thing I liked best of this perfume; I was glad to have the bottle in my collection, and relieved to be done with the content.

The perfume itself is pretty much all cotton candy and synthetic vanilla, and maybe a glimmer of sandalwood (also very synthetic-feeling) and pink pepper, which was what made it wearable for me at the time.

Even so, this type of scent to me is anything but sexy: every time I wore this perfume, I could never get rid of the feeling in the back of my mind that I’d spilled on myself a fizzy drink full of sugar and questionable additives. I don’t like this type of drinks, let alone smelling like I had an unfortunate accident with one, so to me this is not something I would ever wear again or recommend.

Just what I was hoping for! Smells amazing. Sexy, fun, flirty. Makes you smell like the sexy woman you want to be! At first spray, I get the pink pepper. It dries down to a beautiful warm soft scent. Can't stop smelling my wrist. CH fragrances have shot up to the top of my favorite list recently. You won't be disappointed!

Love this perfume, it's warm / sensual & makes me feel comforted (& sexy); a scent that I'd wear on a date night or with a cosy jumper. Its sweet but not in a sickly way, classy, perfectly balanced. The sillage is impressive, I can smell it on jackets I've not worn in a while & it still smells amazing, reminding me to wear it more often.

This to me smells like a sweetshop, but for grownups: vanilla turning to lightly-spiced chocolate on my skin (I used to think of it as 'the chocolatey pill perfume'), yet this is evocative and subtle rather than obvious and direct: it's not really a gourmand, and there's a classy and understated oriental cocktail of rose, patchouli, violet and sandalwood silky smooth in the background too.

Uurrrkay, alright. I like this. I usually prefer sweet, heavier scents with a hint of depression, but this is a bit lighter and fresh. I would definitely wear this. Seems like it would work for all seasons, but it gives me a spring or winter vibe. It seems like something that would be in the Juicy Couture line. I don't get the cotton candy note, but maybe powdered berries with a bit of caramel and musk. It's very pretty. The bottle is awkward. Like, what is this giant pill haha. It's double sided (lil bottle of juice on both ends). You kinda have to insert the little round bottle and twist it around to fit back in place.

Sweet, cozy and powdery. Like a wolly sweater, but a bit more sophisticated. I definitely get the cotton candy, the caramel, pink pepper and the violet (which I think gives the powdery feel). Also a hint of earthy pelargonium, like something sharp. I don't really get the musk or the patchouli (I normally hate patchouli fragrances on me). I had to warm a bit to this fragrance. I borrowed it from my mom, and slowly I grew to really like it, and she gave it to me (she is a patchouli perfume lover). A nice, sweet and pretty inoffensive scent. What I don't get is sexy. Definitely no sex in this perfume for me :D

A little disappointed in this one. It didn't live up to my "perceived" expectations. I'm not completely sure what I expected from 212, but I find it rather generic and unimpressive. I've smelled this kind of scent hundreds of times before over the years. I only get the caramel, cotton candy and violet on my skin. No gardenia; no bergamot; no rose; no orange; no pepper. As time goes by, it's settled into a powdery sweet overload. I liked CH Good Girl but I'm selling this one.

Super sweet!!! I hate it!

I remember trying this years ago and thinking it smelled so pretty while still being mature. As an adult I smell it and think it smells beautiful, but I don’t think remember it having a slight boozy smell to it with roses in the beginning. After a bit it does settle to a pretty gourmand with a delicate floral smell to it. This smell is definitely still very pretty but I can definitely say say that although it’s a beautiful scent I myself just find it on the “not quite for me” side. I love gourmand scent with a spicy sweet smell to it and this does have a spicy gourmand kick to it, but it just kinda just doesn’t quite get there for me. I thought about it for a while and kept smelling the scent and couldn’t quite get why I didn’t love the scent till I sprayed some Prada candy on my wrist to compare. I finally realized that it wasn’t that the scent didn’t quite get there for me to be a favorite, but that the floral smell was strong enough my skin even after it settled that it kinda of distracted from the sweet gourmand scent. Usually that wouldn’t be a huge deal and some scents can blend that very well, but this scent for some reason has a strangely vibrant rose scent that just never blends with the other sweet notes on my skin. I don’t remember this the first time I tried it but I probably didn’t mind it at the time either. Anyways, the point being was that the rose note ended being a bit strong and just didn’t blend in with the rest of the scent that was pretty balanced. I can say that although that kind of ruined the perfume for me I still think this is beautiful seductive scent that I highly recommend. I also have to mention that although I smelled a strong rose note on my skin, when I spray it’s on a sweater that rose note did eventually blend with the rest of the scent while still having a balanced yet present floral smell to it, so the smell I’m kind of thrown off by May have more to do with my skin chemistry.

This is pure perfection. This is everything I ever want in a perfume! It has the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, creamy, and powdery notes. I get mostly pink pepper, cotton candy, gardenia and vanilla. None of them is too overpowering, they actually combine together to create the most divine smell ever.

It's very unique and it smells like nothing I've smelled before. I have received many compliments while wearing this. Perfect for autumn and winter, I can't imagine wearing this during summer.

Shame on you CH for discontinuing such a gem!

I blind brought this recently as from the notes I thought it would be sweet but I’m a bit confused.
I have been trialing it for the past few days and the first thing I smell is the pink pepper and it’s quite spicy on me. Then it’s a burst of florals. Nothing too spectacular and I forget I’m even wearing anything. After a few hours I have been noticing a sweet smell that comes in wafts now and then and think it is this! I wish I got more of the sweet scent at first spray though.

I kinda like it but not really, the sweetness isnt there as much as i imagined how the caramel and cotton candy listed on the notes. All i can smell is spicy, very very spicy but in a soft way maybe cus of the musk, still has that bit of sweetness but probably from the vanilla, and floraly. Its beautiful but sometimes in a warmer days, the spices can get a bit too spicy on my nose.

I didn't get anything sweet with this? To me it smells much more mature than expected. Some older type florals, fresh, woody and quite frankly, masculine. There's no vanilla, no cotton candy, no caramel. Just pink pepper, citrus, woods and pelargonium. This just wasn't what I expected. I don't know what I think of it..

It is almost masculine to me and a little too powdery and spicy for my taste.

I just bought this to my wife and I can't stop smelling on her! She has never tried it before and loves it. The projection and longevity are both very good, and the notes that we both get are pink pepper and Vanilla, however the dry down is all about the cotton candy.

Its a fantastic fragrance!

This is the only perfume which I went through a 100ml bottle and recently ordered another 100ml bottle. I first had it around 10yrs ago when I was in high school and now I suddenly started craving it again after all these years despite having a relatively big collection of other perfumes. Vanilla + cotton candy perfection with a slight sharpness of pink pepper. Just yum 😋 (I hope it smells the same and has not been reformulated)

Edit: my bottle arrived and it smells exactly as I remembered it to be. I’m so happy 😍 I’m surprised how this perfume is not more popular than what it is. I think it’s a semi-hidden gem 😁

Why this good be sexy: It is notes like;sweet and vanilla mixed white flowers,pink pepper always get bunch to then musky,with a sandalwood(it is easts gift for wood for to make it deeper) in to settle and slowly caramelwood(not thow sweet but serious)and patcouly.
Some how, I havent liked CH before, and this was slightly better but it had also noticeble notes, which was kind of same that had in clear bottle (I still have it)
I have to say, one perfume was kind of same spirit that Ch sexy has, and it is Giorgio Beverly Hills Gold, which is more stronger, but there was kind of same notes - I dont know if someone has noticed..

Got an old bottle from my mother. Holy smokes, is this potent! One spray fills the room, and I'm not sure if that is a good thing here.

I can see how this could be headache-inducing. It's very sweet and a bit spicy. Smells very perfume-like, none of that "my natural scent but better" vibe over here.

In my opinion this is suitable for more mature women (for reference, I am 24 years old). It is impressive and noticeable for sure. Not for the office, but potentially perfect for a fancy dinner party.

I don't get much of the sweetness that people are alluding to. I also don't get the "nighttime" smell that people are smelling; maybe my skin just pulls different. To me, this is the perfect everyday scent. It's definitely still a little sexy, but I wouldn't say it's only a nighttime scent; it's definitely appropriate all times of day and I feel like it mixes very well despite the fact that it has several notes, because it is very well blended. I like to put this on top of a sweet or fruity perfume to help bring out some of the sweet notes in this perfume, or on its own. We can't really go to the office right now, but I could definitely see myself wearing this to the office, as well.

I honestly could not make out any notes of this because all I could smell was my mother. She has never had this fragrance before but it smelled just like her. I ended up giving it to her and she loves it and described it as when "you are at the club and men just keep coming up to you saying that you smell good" if that helps any of you lol.

Update: My mom asked me where I got it so she could buy another one haha. She said that she sprayed a little to go to the store and 2 different people followed her and asked what she was wearing and complimented her fragrance even while wearing masks!

My favourite perfume! Love it, always using it when I’m going to parties or celebrations because it’s pretty intense. The smell reminds me of cosy winter nights, it’s really warm and classy. Smell is really sweet, I wouldn’t recommend for people who likes fresh smells.

After 14 years, I missed CH 212 Sexy a lot and i bought it last week again. It's still so beautiful, warm, sexy and seductive in a classy way.

After hearing the rave about this perfume for so long from women and men alike, I finally got the EDP off of ebay for around $39.

Authentic or not, it smells AMAZING. It smells soooooo good and heavenly.

Definitely a gourmand scent and the red pepper is definitely there, but I love it. I sprayed it on my brother and I can smell the perfume from feet away.

I recently purchased a preowned 212 Sexy tester on the 'bay for cheap, based on the positive reviews here. I *expected* that this would be a sweet version of the original, "dry" 212 (which is one of my favorites and one of the only fragrances that I can wear consistently without becoming queasy or lightheaded). That was a mistake.

This contains NONE of the original 212's DNA. This, to my nose, is a very generic, too-sweet, too-"woody", too patch-y, headache-inducing disappointment. I'd so eagerly waited for it to arrive that I was actually really upset when I "test drove" it.

too much retro for me . I belive I cant stand the peper , pelargonium..or is it the cotton candy ? and yes, it is soapy.

The fact that this has been around for more than 15 years makes me feel old. 212 Sexy still smells young to me, but at the same time already a little retro. It‘s just very different from what something with the same notes and bottle would smell like if it came out now: Sweet, but not heavily gourmand and drier than many of the lush and creamy scents of today.
It‘s more of a musk than a vanilla fragrance to my nose, with just a hint of sticky sweetness from the cotton candy and a lot of pink pepper. It smells very warm, hot even, in a spicy/peppery way. Some light florals are noticeable, too.

Is it sexy? Yes, kinda. In my opinion it smells like warm clean skin, sugar and spice, and I find that alluring.
But I would still rather wear it in the daytime than for parties or special occasions. It‘s easy to wear, only in colder weather though. I made the mistake of spraying a tester bottle on me on a hot summer day 2 years ago and still remember how it turned so soapy and artificial smelling in the heat.

This scent smells divine. It does smell gourmand, but in a very soft way, that you do not relate bluntly to a dessert. It is very sweet but in a nice, balanced, non cloying way. I love it. I am not sure about the sillage, but have the impression that it is not great. Staying power is ok. I quite like the fact that the 100 ml bottle is in fact two smaller bottles, so that you can carry one of them without much weight. They should do the same with other fragrances, because some 100 ml bottles end up being too heavy.

This is one of those fragrances that I wear when I just want to smell nice and approachable. It's a simple sweet and soapy scent with a hint of pepper. There's nothing complicated about it.
Having read other reviews about its good performance I suspect mine is a reformulated one because it barely projects at all and disappears from my skin in about 2 hours.

The first time I tested this I had Musc Ravageur on my other wrist which made the difference in quality painfully obvious. Regardless, it's a great everyday fragrance - I can't imagine this offending anyone.

I wish the bottle and the name weren't so tacky though.

One of my two signature scents and has been since I smelled it on my sister as a teen and fell in love! This is the only perfume I have tried to have super lasting power while not being overwhelming and smelling truly gorgeous on skin and clothes alike.

My boyfriend always comments on how much he loves it and my sister even text me once and said 'Were you over my house today? The cat smells like you'. Haha.

This is a perfume that works across all seasons, the pink pepper and caramel notes are warm and comforting in winter and the candy and citrus notes are fresh and pretty in the summer. The notes in this complement each other so well, nothing is overpowering and it's so well balanced. I've tried and tested no end of high end and dupe alternative perfumes over the years and this, despite being a more affordable perfume, outshines them all. I pray they never discontinue this!

If you want a perfume that projects, lasts and delivers a beautiful, layered, stick your nose into your neck and inhale type of scent, this is it.

Delivers lovely subtle wafts of warm clean skin, ever so slightly sweet and ever so slightly plasticky in the best “better than real” kind of way. Almost chlorine-like, like Burberry Body. Nose to wrist, it’s more of a peppery sandalwood that settles into mostly sandalwood as it lingers, similar to Estée Lauder’s Sensuous on me. I can see how it might be perceived as sexy to some, although it’s primarily comfortable and calming to my nose. Sillage and longevity are fairly humble but those gentle wafts are the best part of this anyway.

Edit 2023: Not long after my review I went off this in a big way. I went off sandalwood in general for a while and that’s primarily what I get from this. (I couldn’t wear Crystal Noir either but thankfully that’s back in favour now). Unfortunately, 4 years later, this one’s still turning my stomach. I stand by the Body and Sensuous comparisons (which I also can no longer wear), and I just realized another one it’s reminding me of: Bvlgari’s Aqva Divina. There’s something about that honeyed wood/sandalwood note they share that manages to knot my stomach and cause a gripping pain behind my eyeballs. I’ve withstood this as long as I can for the purpose of this update and now need to wash it off.

Super sexy and long lasting perfume

A perfume perfect for the nighttime like on dates and dinners but not my favorite despite the rave reviews I heard about it. To be honest I’m not a fan of the scent but it did peaked my curiosity about it.

Good scent but not just for me,

There is a definite harshness to the current formulation, when this was first released, it was somehow much prettier. The opening is a little abrasive, that pink pepper note is a little harsh, I just remember it being more polite, more refined. Fortunately as it dries, it gets much nicer, a white floral musk. The cotton candy note eludes me, but the gardenia comes through, and that is beautiful.

It needs a rebrand, she may have been sexy in 2004, but now she's a bit more subtle, more refined. Very nice. Longevity is very good.

This was a bummer. My cursed anosmia to synthetic musks strikes again! :( I’ve got the same issue with Narciso Rodriguez for her, SJP Lovely, etc, and have learned to avoid scents that are heavy on musk because I simply can’t detect it.

I got a sample of 212 Sexy after reading a recent Fragrantica article about cotton candy fragrances. The most I can say is I can tell there’s a light, sweet, pleasant enough scent where I sprayed it. I can’t smell anything at all unless I put my nose right up against my skin. So, I leave this review as a warning to others with musk anosmia lol!

Can't for the life of me understand why this is called sexy, it couldn't really be anything further from it. It's very musky and overwhelmingly herbal, every time I smell it, it makes me do a sad face.

I was absolutely adiment that I would fall head over heels in love with this, I love all of the notes so I was so shocked when I totally didn't "get" the scent, on me it was just musty, I couldn't make out any of the notes it was just a strong sorta bland undescript scent, I finished my sample so gave it a chance but it just didn't smell of anything on me really, I really wish that I had the same experience as others have had with this perfume, I don't know if it is my skin or my sense of smell who knows but it was sadly a flop for me x

Oh how I love the smell of this!

I have just discovered it after buying a bottle for my friend for her birthday (she's been addicted to it for years) - I got myself a bottle too, as it was reasonably priced. I went to work (in a pub) last night and 4 people asked me what fragrance I was wearing. One guy said he wanted to buy it for his girlfriend, another said "ooh you smell GOOD!"

I usually stick to my 2 favourite perfumes, Chanel Chance Eau Tendre and Ralph Lauren Romance, but I will be adding this to my top 3 now. It seems to be long lasting and I can smell it on myself, which I don't always do with my other perfumes.

Its hard to describe the scent, but its a mix of fresh and sexy, I can detect the orange and bergamont, but its not at all heavy or cloying or 'too much' Its perfect for day or night, summer or winter - I love it!!

The only downside for me is the odd shaped bottle - it doesn't stand upright and the 100mls comes in 2 x 50mls bottles either end of a central capsule. I would have liked to have 2 lids on these so I could separate them and put one in my bag and one in my desk drawer, but they don't come with lids. Never mind, its not a deal breaker for me.

Hmmm I had it some years ago. Somehow it could be nice scent but sth makes it weird and dirty and also casual . I don’t know how to explain but it is not so much fascinating. Better for young girls under 25. This is my taste I mean it would be nice for the others.

Every last drop of this frangrance is very dangerously sexy. I remember wearing it every single day in my 18s, it was such a statement at the time.

It can be a bit sharp at first, but if you give it some time to settle and mix with your skin, the magic begins. Sweet, musky and intoxicating. It has a unique sultry vibe. Very bold and extravagant.

Projection is good and lasting power is very good as well, +8 hours on my skin.

Oh I love this. Adore the pink pepper, it's pretty linear thru the entire scent but it floats on this fresh floral slightly sweet musky cloud. It's easy to wear, lasts forever and silage is good for the first few hours. Inoffensive and sexy.

The moment I got home, I HAD to spray myself, I went with 4 spritz, held my breath, had a smile on my face, eyes closed, I waited for 5 seconds, when I exhaled, I was wrapped in a cloud of cotton candy, pink pepper & musk.
It really is SEXY! My mum said it smelt like baby powder, but in a really good way, she then said "mmmm it smells different now" which was after about an hour.
I have CH's 212 VIP & good girl; what I love about her scents are, they don't smell like each other, each one of her scents have their own sexiness.
212 VIP is one I'd wear to a beach party, with cocktails and booze.
Good girl is one I'd wear on a date night, the tonka note plays well.
And 212 sexy.. Well, let's just say I'll leave that to your imagination ;)

Smells sweet at the beginning but dries down to this mildly spicy scent (yet very feminine).
I’ve tried this on my hair too but this way the smell stays more linear. It develops quite well on my skin though! Perfect for the office according to me! Was a risky blind buy but worth it :) got the 100ml version which is actually two 50ml mini bottles. Good size to keep in your bag for top ups :)

I just cannot stand pink pepper, which basically means I cannot wear 212 Sexy. This has a LOT of pink pepper.
The vanilla + cotton candy + musk + gardenia is indeed very sexy, but the pink pepper ruins the fragrance for me.
I'm gonna wash it of now because I'm getting a headache.

I didn't notice the cotton candy or vanilla at all in the first spray. I usually don't like sweet or gourmand perfumes (although I do love vanilla, when it doesn't make me smell like a walking sugar cookie), so I'm not sure I would've given this a chance had I known.

I'm so glad I did! The citrus and pepper hit first, and the word that came to mind was "refreshing."

The drydown was really surprising, though. That's when the vanilla and cotton candy came through, but it was just a hint of sweetness to brighten up the musk and cool off the pepper, as well as add another layer to the florals.

I love vanilla when it's done like this. Subtle and warm and sultry. This definitely lives up to the Sexy name.

My skin eats fragrance, but this has decent sillage and longevity. Which is so surprising for the price.

This was a blind buy for me. I got a 100ml bottle at 37USD on ebay and reading at the reviews, I thought it was a jackpot but I'm so disappointed. It smells like a cheap cologne. I dont get anything sweet in this. No vanilla either. It doesn't smell bad. Just didn't expect it from Carolina Herrera. No lasting power, no sillage, not sexy, nothing special about it. It's fresh, ok for gym session.

What a surprise! I agree with raiza, the word "sexy" in a perfume usually makes me skeptical, but this one actually is. I should hate it-cotton candy, pepper, and musk? Not for me, or so I thought. The musk is actually nice and clean, the pepper is not too sharp, and the cotton candy is never beers too close to bring sugar territory. All the notes are soft and balanced and this perfume is not sugary like you would expect, it smells delicious and edible but is airy and a little salty, almost like a gourmand version of Hermes Eau de Merveilles. I don't know if I would buy a full bottle but this would definitely make a great gift or blind buy for any age, it seems like a total crowd pleaser (in a good way).

Normally, when i read "sexy" in a perfume bottle, i get instantly sceptic. It is seldom that the fragrance is really sexy. It is usually just sweet and that is it. With 212 sexy this is not the case. It is really sexy. Almost sexual i would say. I get a very musky fragrance, creamy, with a light floral background. It reminded me of the original 212,but this one is more erotic, if i can say that. It is not vulgar or loud. It is discreet but remarkable. At the dry down, i get a very light powder. It pairs well with the musk.
The only thing i don't like about this fragrance is a light soapy smell at the heart, but it disappears quickly.
Apart from that, thumbs up for Carolina Herrera!

The splash of citruses and piquant pink pepper open this chapter. It may not sound sexy at first, but if you are willing to wait for a drydown, there comes your reward.

Vanilla hugs the pink pepper note and cotton candy seconds to it. The musk gets very prominent. I don't get powdery notes at all.

Some may say this doesn't smell sexy. Well, I can see the point. It doesn't smell sexy in an obvious seductive way, but it's more like a provocative offer for a cuddle and who knows what next.

Soft, incredibly sensual, mysterious and unique creation.

Edit after one week: I ordered a bottle. I just wish I could bath myself in it.

From me as a men point of view. This dry down trigger my 'something' inside me. Very irresistible drydown. Age 18-30.

- Fragrance: Beautiful combination.. I just adore this scent! I have not found something similar yet, this pink pepper is just delicious, sexy and sofisticated in my opinion. I feel it is suitable for a romantic date, a meeting at work, a nice dinner out with your friends, etc.
Though it certainly matches winter and autumm better, I feel you can easily pull it off during spring and also on the summernights.

- Sillage: Moderate to Low on me..
I wish this projected more, I have hardly gotten any compliments wearing this one because no one smells it unless they are too close to me, which is a shame for the price you pay and the quality you expect.

-Longevity: I get a good 8 hours, 10 hours max.

- Bottle: I find it very inconvenient, not easy to manipulate, and actually quite fucking annoying hahaha.
In shorter, I HATE the bottle design. I do like the color, the feel of the material, and the dusty rosy liquid.
I just wish this thing could be steadier to keep it standing. You should not have to be worrying that it will roll over every time you slightly touch it...

Yes this one IS sexy, if you like your scents with a little power and want something more sophisticated and grown up then the average sweet celebrity fruitchouli then this is for you. Be forewarned, this is MUSKY. It's very seductive and sensual; my only gripe is that this one is touted as one of THE cotton candy scents and I get zero cotton candy lol it’s sweet yeah but it’s doesn’t smell like caramel or candy floss. the soapy gardenia and heavy musk are the major players here for me and it’s really hard to smell anything else through them. I actually didn’t like 212 sexy for a long time because it wasn’t what I expected, after awhile I cane to love it for what it is. To me sexy 212 will always be a grown up vanilla/gardenia musk. Stellar silage and longevity.

This is tough for me, I really want to like this! It's just settles waaaaaaaay too musky on me. When I first spray it, it smells so delicious and sweet, I don't get cotton candy, just a sweet general vanilla smell, at first the musk is in the background and gives it a little something different, BUT the final dry down is just straight musk on me, and I can't stand it.

I'm sad to say this is a definite no for me. 212 sexy smells like pure bug spray. I have a small bottle and have sprayed it on multiple occasions to see if I'd eventually like it. Nope not going to happen.

It's difficult to define 212 Sexy, because everyone has a different idea of what "sexy" is (not to mention what it should smell like). With that being said, I personally think that 212 Sexy TOTALLY smells sexy! Powdery, clean musky fragrances are my favorite and the only type I wear. Why? Because when I "go for powder" it works every time without fail. Regardless of the occasion or the time of day, this perfume is always wearable and very agreeable in any given setting. Love it!

I see why `sexy` is an addition to the name of this one - there is something dirty about this scent, it`s like sweat on a scent..I can`t decide if I like it but it is definitely interesting. Male feedback is positive, so it is sexy. But the sweaty powderiness is something a bit too much for me, I have the same with JPG`s Classique also - nice, but either doesn`t match with my skin or the powder upsets my nose..I do recommend it tho, especially if you really want to be sexy - wearing this without knowing it, you will be..

So glad I got a tester size of this before blindly buying the bottle. It smells old fashioned and grandma style...nothing sexy about it at all. Way too sharp that it hurts the nose, must be the gardenia. I'm not getting any sweet cotton candy notes bummer.

Edit: this went from a complete hate to a love! It's crazy I couldn't stand this before and I'm so glad I gave this perfume a chance and when I did I realized how good it is. It starts off very sharp and that's what I judged it with negative review, give it time. When it dries down that's when the sweet and sexy come out. I then notice the cotton candy but not like a little girl sweet, no a sexy sweet. I wore the tester just to finish it and as I wore it more and more I realized that I needed this in my life. This is a perfume that lingers all day which is always what I look for. The muskiness resembles chance chanel the perfume and no it's not the same just could be in same family. My husband even complimented how much he loved my perfume which is rare because he normally doesn't do that. So now ordered a 3oz full bottle.

I've worn this perfume for a month and I could say now I'm starting to love it! It was a couple version, my husband wears the 212 Sexy for Man and I use the woman version. I love the Man version on my hubby but mine has been waiting in line until I used up my La Vie Est Belle perfume.

CH 212 Sexy For Woman to my nose is a floral-spicy-a lil bit woody perfume. I'm a gourmand lover so I rarely has this kind of scent..and like most of the comments above, it took me a while to get used to it. I smell citruses and roses and sharp spicy on the first spray, then to the flowery notes...and dominant patchouli I think.. then the musky sweetness lasts a very long time (more than 8 hours on my skin). Well I live in a very humid country so these notes are the ones that comes up to me, might be different if I live in a cooler country...

I made a mistake though, I wore this to work once and I felt very dirty lol. It was very inappropriate... It drawns too many attention from men, which is very uncomfortable if you were trying to do your job! Now I only wear this if my husband at home or if I'm going out on a date with him :D very sexy scent, leading to very sexy, steamy stuff waiting to happen if ya know what I mean ;)

I honestly don't know what I'm smelling here, outside of the strong musk, but I like it just the same. Imagine the powdery sweetness of Escada Magnetism mixed with the spice from Chanel Chance...weird, I know, but somehow still enjoyable.
I expected to make the usual La Vie Est Belle comparison (yes, I know this came out years before LVEB-but most people know it), but the sweetness level here is a 2 on a scale of 1-10, LVEB being a 10. Apologies for all of the comparisons!

I admit, it took me a couple of wearings to get used to the musk, but it won me over. I think 212 Sexy can come off as sexy, confident, cuddly or even relaxing, depending on how you're feeling and what you're wearing. It lasts 12+ hours on my clothes, but it doesn't radiate very far. Anyway, very nice!

I thought I would be in love with with this scent. Cotton candy and caramel in conjuction are a magical treat. Sadly, I expected alot. I can not really smell anything girly or pretty about this fragrance. I remember going to congregation with my fellow Jehovahs Witness and always catching a sniff of this very peculiar scent. It just smells very mature, confident and dare I say, sexy? It's a beautiful rose gold bottle which should emulate on its pretty, airy and sweet scent but sadly I think I'll stick to Aeropostale Tokyo Darling for now.

It smells really nice really pretty girly! It's not as sexy as I imagined but more of a beautiful scent. Pretty is the word that suits this fragrance best. "212 Pretty or 212 Girly" they should have called it.

These 212 bottles are so interesting to me! But especially this one it is a rose gold color (which is my fave color as well) and the pink pepper and vanilla blend makes it smell like a sweet cinnamon smell to me! I have never had a scent that smells like cinnamon, can't wait to buy this!

I bought this perfume, based on the notes, and first try was sharp and strong. Kept trying and I began to like it more, but not enough, sadly. I think the patchouli/sandalwood is too much for me. it is very sweet, which I do like. But I'm a novice regarding perfume, so maybe this was not the best match for me.

edit: I have since changed my mind about this perfume... I do like it. Just took some time getting used to it.

Once again, this is an underrated type of fragrance. Although I don't think this is unique to my nose, the spiciness and the small hints of vanilla and cotton candy is what gets me into this perfume. The bottle is very unique and gives a futuristic vibe; also reminds me of medications for some reason. The scent is a bit of a 'meh' to me, the pink pepper is strong with this one. The musk is also intense from the bottle. I could also smell bergamot in the given notes. vanilla? not so much. Cotton candy? yep. I only use this fragrance whenever I'm on a night-out because of the strong scent. Gives a sexy and wild type of vibe to me. Overall, these are my verdicts:

I recently purchase this perfume and I have used it before. I have received compliments. I love the scent spicy and sweet.

Slight Peppery opening that seemed to sit very close to the skin before beginning to shine through. I get no Citrus at all. Not that I mind :) For the life of me I could never detect any individual Floral note - but the the overall effect is surprisingly sufficient to keep me interested. I was able to pick the Cotton Candy at random times but Pink Pepper is definitely the dominant note for me.

I was surprised at how quickly this scent shifts to well blended Vanilla Sandalwood. Just as I'm really getting my rocks off on the mid note cacophony - its over :(

There is a slight 'sexy' feel to this scent.. but its a natural sexiness...no make up, beach hair, tight jeans, frilly top, big smile and a bouncy step. Far from a sultry sexy or a just made love sexy (Boudoir I'm looking at you). With the Cotton Candy element, 212 Sexy could actually be quite girly dull without the right outfit and attitude ;)

The opening of this is VERY soapy. I suppose it's a combination of the pink pepper (which dominates the opening) and gardenia?? This fragrance takes a while to move from the soapy opening, but once it does it is very pretty. I would not call this a sexy scent by any means. Once this moves out of the soapy phase, it is a sweet floral, with lots of sandalwood and musk. I really enjoy this phase of this fragrance. It's unfortunate that this phase has poor sillage and longevity. On me this needs to be reapplied within 2-3 hours (then I have to tolerate the opening all over again). Sometimes I run a hairdryer (with a diffuser) on hot over the areas where I applied it; this helps move fragrances out of the opening. I do this with other fragrances that I don't like the opening of. Too bad I can't take a hairdryer with me everywhere, lol.

So, is this sexy... well, perhaps in a subtle sort of way, if this works with your skin chemistry and you love pink pepper. 212 begins with a blast of green patchouli and strong pink pepper, that quickly mellows out into softly sweet fairy floss (cotton candy) and smooth sandalwood accompanied by a background of florals. The florals contain something a little bit fruity and musky, and I'm not sure what the fruitiness could indicate here. The pink pepper sometimes reappears during dry-down for an edgy sort of sexiness. I like the soft, feminine spiciness that this note gives the composition, and in my opinion, it totally makes the scent. This would not be the same without it.

I do like how the patchouli disappears very quickly, because it's not my favourite note, although I will be experimenting with this scent over the passage of time to determine if the patchouli will annoy me in warmer weather. So far I'm enjoying this in the cold.

The overall impression is fresh, sensual and modern, and rather different from other kinds of "everyday" scents, at least in my country (I understand this is very popular in Brazil). So I suppose this depends upon where you live, but despite it's popularity, it would work really well as a staple perfume. Sillage is moderate; longevity was only for about 4-5 hours.

Was a gift from my love and wow! Love the combination of notes. Definitely a new favorite....such a subtle, warm sweetness, yet it seems fresh with that tinge of vanilla, citrus and lemon. Like a stronger DNKY Pure. Nice! :)

First spray was great, pink spiciness, but after that it turned quite manly smelling.
Which is what i find happens with all carolina harrera fragrances I've tried.

I own two of her other fragrances and they also turn into cheap manly smelling scents. Its a big disappointment because judging from the notes you imagine it will smell amazing, but no, i guess the juice is low quality.

This is a fresh, a little sweet (despite the cotton candy, caramel, and vanilla) and extremely sexy perfume. I wear this as an evening perfume. Very smooth with no note completely taking over the composition, although wood and musk become dominant once this perfume drys down. I find it wearable all year, but you will need to adjust the dosage. A warning for you to go easy on the trigger to see how it wears on you, because for me, a little goes a very long way. Very good sillage and longevity. This is an absolute favorite of mine.

First of all, i want to thank the beautiful Rosita Applebum from Youtube for showing off this perfume in one of her videos. She has very good taste and if it wasnt for her i might not have found this treasure. I was getting tired of the same old thing and this is so unique! I have never smelled ANYTHING like this. I dont normally like Pink pepper in perfumes but i LOVE it here. Its perfect....not too spicy but just enough to give it an extra kick! It opens with citrus...then dries down to a musky powdery vanilla...i love that this is sweet but also clean smelling...just a little bit soapy. I have been looking for a 'signature" scent to call my own....i finally found it in 212 sexy. I also LOVE the bottle.

Tested this because of RositaApplebum (youtube) recommnendation, she mentioned this perfume in several of her videos and she has similar taste to me, and since I've owned VIP sexy by CH before and liked that a lot, i thought it wouldn't hurt to go smell this one too.

All I can say is I have fallen head over heels in love with this, it left me literally speechless. It's the PERFECT mixture of floral, warm, spicy and musky but without being a headache in a bottle. From reading the notes I can distinguish the musk, pepper and vanilla (in that order) on my skin the most. The sandalwood also lends it a slight creamy base when its completely dried down that gives it a luscious and seamless quality. I don't detect cotton candy so i assume it's merged with the airy vanilla that I smell in this.
Take my review with a pinch of salt that this is a love or hate fragrance, you have to smell it and test it on your skin to understand it.

This is also probably the most lasting perfume I've smelled in a very long time too. This shockingly lasted longer on me than the Armani Prive MI. This forms a nice scent bubble around you that you will get a whiff of every time you turn your head or move your arms. i have washed the jacket i was wearing when I tried this and can still smell a faint trace of it on that jacket. in fact, when I wear the same jacket some of the perfume left on it transfers back to my skin and I can smell it again. This sticks around for a very long time and the price point is fantastic, I'm asking for this on my birthday :)

I just bought this after reading the reviews because I wanted to smelly 'sexy'. Wow is all I can say. It has everything beautifully. Sweet, floral, spicy, musky with no part of the fragrance dominating the other. My skin clearly loves this and on me it is truly sexy and I feel sexy. On me this is a vanilla, musk sandalwood bomb with a subtle hint of flowers. Truly gorgeous.

I was so interested in this fragrance as the notes were very appealing to me. And also because I watched a youtube video with a girl that has the same taste of perfume than me and was raving about this particular one ! I had such high hopes for it.

I went to the perfume store today and was so excited to test this one out. I HATED IT ! Either the tester bottle was already very old and the scent has changed or it just did not work at all with my body chemistry. It smelled like strong pee on my skin. It was so harsh and it did not really change throughout. After waiting for about an hour I could only smell a faint soapy musk. So disappointed. I do want to try it again in another store though just incase it was a bad bottle. But overall, very bad first impression.....

Fun, extremely feminine and sexy! Very peppery and sweet. It has the right amount of girliness without going overboard. Seems to last very long on my skin with a moderate-heavy sillage. This one isn't vulgar or in-your-face raunchy but, as the name suggests, 212 Sexy is a solid choice for cheerful sex appeal.

Just got my first scent off scentbird, and this is the perfume I chose for this month. I'm definitely liking it as much as I thought I would. It's fresh, yet sexy, and no one note overwhelms me. I can see myself buying a full bottle, now that I've tested it. I imagine I'll blow through this quarter ounce pretty fast. I've bought so many full size bottles, sure I'll like them, and they just sit. I'm hoping my husband likes 212 Sexy on me, because I can see this being in my rotation.

Update: As I wear this, I'm really loving it. It's just a gorgeous scent. I can smell in quite strongly, and I like that. I'm sick of watered down perfumes. I just bought a full bottle of Gucci Guilty Intense and it fades in about an hour. If 212 keeps going strong, it's going to be full bottle worthy.

I love this fragrance! It is my go-to perfume and I have been wearing it for about 5 years now. I always get compliments, it isn't overpowering. It's good for daytime but even better for evening. It gives you a kind of warm sensual glow and it smells great throughout the night. My boyfriend also loves it :)

Its fresh and sweet at the same time. I like this perfume i had it back when i was 18. Its very long lasting. However the scent seem unnatural.

I picked up a bottle of this today with my Boots points :) I love this its really modern and sophisticated but also says 'I still know how to have a good time' I can definitely detect the vanilla in this but it's not a sickly sweet vanilla! Also musk in there too with some woody notes at the base! I would happily wear this every day! Ladies of any age could wear this - in my head I am still 18 lol!

I don't know why, but I can't stand this perfume! I love sweet, fruity or spicy scents and this one sounded perfect for me! Well until I sprayed it.It must be the pink pepper that turns me off. I keep trying to like it but just smelling the bottle makes me cringe. I bought it blind and I learned my lesson to stop blind buying!

My mother received this for her birthday from a friend and i couldn't help but try this one out :p I thought "Well, she has a different taste and preferences, perhaps it would be lame"...but what a surprise, i loved it! I told her that I even want to buy a bottle for me. It must be the vanilla and musk that got me. That longevity is so freaking huge, man! Whenever i turn my head from left to right and move around, i feel the smell after hours... And look at that design aswell. 50 mls for both sides. That's my definition for "woman in a bottle", it's not girly and candy-ish: it's sweet in the feminine way. When i have the opportunity, i must definitely purchase it.

P.s. - here it is, in my collection now, 1-2 months since the upper comment. <3 I'm definitely enjoying it. Such seduction, such sensation of sexyness, so smooth and soft. Oh wow, this fragrance is all about that "S" :D I think every woman must have "212 sexy" at least once in a lifetime.

THIS is what Pink Sugar Sensual should smell like! Definitely a sexier, grown up version of cotton candy deliciousness. The pink pepper and gardenia add a touch of spicy freshness to the warm vanilla sweetness. For those who like Pink Sugar but want a more dainty, everyday version of it, 212 Sexy is the way to go!

Pink pepper-heavy, some florals, and gone in 15 minutes. My chemistry really doesn't like this one.

I really didn't kno how to describe but CH 212 to me is a perfume that was screaming : Hey look at me! Am trying to be elegant here or at least sexy!
Well it doesn't work for me..not on my nose nor my body chemistry....if you're into this good news for you since it last 4-5hours on skin and longer on clothes :)

I like the bottle and also smell of this perfume but I don't love it. Smell too spicy and peppery for me. Long lasting on my skin more than 6 hrs. Anyhow it's not my scent. (My English not very good...Sorry) ^^"

At first I felt a cinnamon-ish vibe to it which actually appealed to me (although cinnamon isn't a note that's what it reminded me of). I guess that's the slight spiciness. Then later that settles and I get the vanilla and flower notes. I don't really feel much citrusy stuff in it. If you ask me this is just an average perfume, no wow-effect.

A lovely scent especially for night prties

I'm sorry. I just can't do this one. My skin turns it into something sticky, overly sweet and cloying. The only notes that I detect are cotton candy and synthetic flowers. Lasting power -for my misfortune- is huge. It is the first time I have to scrub a perfume off. Anyway, the smell on other people is good... I wouldn't say lovely... but just ok.

Whoa, I do like this, just not sure if I love it. Sweet, sexy, nice sillage and longevity was a pleasant surprise. I just received today and I definitely do not regret the buy (it was a blind buy) just not sure it really stands out enough to me to buy another bottle were I to use all of this.

I LOVE the sweet notes, it has a little bit of a peppery kick but it's not biting or burnt at all, it does really flow. Some candy, some vanilla, I do keep smelling my wrist, I could definitely see this growing on me. Best sprayed with a VERY light hand.

I don't like gardenia, but in CH perfumes that gardenia is more fashionable.

This is a fragrance for an assertive, confident and sexy woman. This is my go-to when I'm feeling bold, sexy and fierce. It's strong but has so many dimensions. My aunt gave it to me when I was 18 and even back then, it made me feel strong and independent. An alpha female scent.

To me it is bitter sweet: peppery, rosy and sexy. it has a note, that mostly all perfumes of that times had. I guess it is pink pepper.
(I have only a sample, that almost evaporated since the time I was given it. Finally, I decided to review all my box of samples collection bit by bit)

For me, it isn't very sweet, nor sweet in a gourmand-sickening way. It's a little bit sweeter, sexyer and more confortable version of Versace Crystal noir! So it suits very well my skin, and I like it very much!

Wow, they got the name right with this one, it’s a very sexy fragrance. This may sound strange but I get a really strong buttery custard smell with this one. It is also a bit reminiscent of Versace Crystal Noir with the Gardenia note. I don't detect any cotton candy at all. The only negative I have to say about this fragrance is the lasting power. It doesn’t last more than 3 hours on my skin. 

To be honest,I am not into sweet scents,but this one is an exception.Its sweetness is somehow comforting and definitely not overpowering.Longevity is pretty good too:-)))

Very sexy. Very vixen. I love the sharp pepper and creamy gardenia. The drydown is a little less exciting, but still pleasant.

Well for starters, I'm a HUGE Pink Sugar fan and this smells NOTHING like it.

The pink pepper is something I get straight away along with some beautiful sexy sweetness with the gardenia and orange. I really love those top notes on my skin and they last a couple of hours before the beloved bergamot and light florals take over.

I wore this to a hospital recently and couldn't even smell it on my skin anymore but the vitals nurse walked in and said, "Girl, you makin' me hungry! Smells like oranges or fresh baked pie around here! Is that you?" When I confessed I hadn't spritzed it on for hours she asked for a piece of paper with the name because she LOVED the way it smelled on me!

Perfect for a warm night out on the town but also works nicely in this cold winter December month. Feels very sensual and sexy to wear.

Sweetish, but "cool" or ?? Get's better as it dries down, but still not worth the wait. Can get the candy vibe and sugar from Pink Sugar. Too "clean" for me.

Very recognizable scent, but amazing nonetheless.

The most prominent notes on my skin: Pink Pepper, Musk and Cotton Candy. The citrus part (mandarin and bergamot) are very well blended with the sandalwood, which gives me a warm (but bright) embracing feeling.

Is indeed a "pink" fragrance. The bottle describe it well. Simple but sophisticated, pink, slightly frosty.

I think it suits days and nights, preferably warmer weather. In cold weather i think that pink pepper tends to become harsh and a little annoying.

Translating it to a few words would be: Bright, musky and spicy. Is indeed sexy, but a sorta "in your face" sexy. The kind of think a Victoria Secrets' Angel would wear, i guess, so if you're into subtle fragrances, this may not be your cup of tea. And did i mentioned is VERY recognizable? So if you're looking for exclusivity, turn around.

Making comparisons, i would say this one is the naughty side of Mademoiselle Ricci. They look alike, but MR is nicer, softer, more romantic, while this is louder, sexier.

Sillage is great for the first hour, then it turns into a skin scent for me. Longevity is around 4+ hours...

Spicy and sweet. Exactly what the notes read is what I smell and that's rare for me. If you don't like pink pepper in your perfume then you won't like this high quality fragrance. For me the heart is slightly bitter. Really smooth warm opening that is quite nice.The dry down down is(incredible) the best part. I just don't quite like the geranium/pink pepper combo. (Slightly sharp)Absolutely lovely warm spicy sweet.If I could go straight to the base this would be a keeper. Pepper lovers rejoice. The cotton candy note is not too heavy and is blended well with the spicy.

Sexy 212 is one of the alltime favorites of mine. I wear it really seldom though. For me it`s definetely a winter eavning parfym for those special occations like dates with my boyfried. It makes me feel confident - and yes - sexy :)

This is sweet with a nice kick of spiciness. It is definitely a pink scent. When I smell it, I immediately think of the pink pepper and cotton candy. To me, that's pretty much what it smells like. The musk makes it all come together nicely. It gives it a certain sexy quality which the name implies. If you don't like pink pepper, I wouldn't recommend this as it is a very prominent note. However, I find pink pepper very pleasant; it has a fresh feminine quality that I really enjoy and that's exactly what I enjoy about this scent as well.

I bought a bottle of this last year on an impulse, and it's nice but I decided it's too peppery for me and I have too many others I like better, so I won't wear it. It's the one in the photo with the two 1.7 oz bottles linked together. I have probably only sprayed it twice. Too strong, too soapy, too spicy. Too much of everything... nope!

This is my evening winter go to fragrance. I like to wear it during winter months because it's a little heavy with the spice. I wore it during holiday parties and evening dinner dates. For me, it lives up to the sexy name!

After the initial bergamot and spice blast, this dries down to a cross between Camay and Dove soap. Slightly rosey - floral,very soapy, elegant, creamy, musky (clean, safe musk, though), clean.

I wouldn't say this is particularly sexy. It is for when you just need to feel comfortable in your own skin, a scent that evokes clean skin, moisturized with a white-coloured, lightly scented body lotion.

I tested this after reading the notes and seeing that it's got some of my favourites (pink pepper, vanilla, some citrus and the sweet candy floss). It was love at first spray!

The sweetness isn't overpowering, and it's strong in a warming way. I love this so much that I apply it sparingly for day wear.

This one is extra spicy.
I sensed pink pepper immediately after spraying. In a few minutes it got floral and after that it got soapy.
I sense sweet floral freshness in it.
The thing I don't understand about it is "Sexy". What makes that perfume more sexy than the others? It's spicy for sure, but if I had to pick a sexy perfume it wouldn't cross my mind.
