This is one of the best put together green florals I have ever found - beautiful, airy and vibrant without being screechy at all. For me, this one is a genuine 'Love'.

Small print, however, I totally agree with other reviewers in that the initial spray is a bit of a punch in the face so go 'well ventilated room', also unless you are going 'power statement' maybe minimise a bit on fabric overspray because it will be in your face all day.

Obviously, if you are looking at Bond you know the price point, but tbh, if you can get a good deal this one is worth it.

Springtime in a bottle! This one is a true beauty and one of my favorites from Bond No.9! Go easy on the trigger with this one cause it's silage is strong!

Love it. Green, grassy , tangy . Had a feeling I'd like it because Madison sq park has been my scent for over 10 years. It's the same brightness as that but like the green version (versus crispy floral/watermelon-ish/. When I first sprayed it it reminded me of the grassy version of HoS Avatar. That quickly disappeared but nice either way

Another overtly synthetic nothing special fragrance from Bond 9. Like all of their offerings. I own only one bottle from this house and it’s Chinatown. Imho this is their best. I consider Bond 9 same as Le Labo. Gimmicky overpriced heavily synthetic fragrance houses for pretentious fake ppl. There are masterpiece perfumes out there to spend my money on than this garbage .

Obviously this is far far from the image of the park. This parfume suits more the idea of a poodles with pink ribbon on cultivate grass in city centre.
I smell grass, yes, however the chemical smell of flowers is overcharging it. The bergamot is nice here, makes the scent spicy and not fading. It is modern and fresh but there is nothing else to add. Very common, syntetic and pink. Overall - High Line is dissapointment for me. Pity, the annotation was more charming than the product.

Crisp. Freshly cut grass. Very green and clean smelling. Perfect for spring and summer daily casual wear. More than moderate sillage and longevity.

Everyone here mostly had good things to say about this perfume so I purchased a decant on Etsy. I rather like this blend. I have several green leaning perfumes and this is probably my most favorite blend. While the green is first forward and most prominent it is balanced by the lemon quite well. The dry down on me was a soft orange/oak that lasted well over 10 hours. And that is what I'm looking for -- a faint reminder of the first spray long after. I will definitely purchase a full bottle.

For those saying that it leans a little to floral for their taste; I would suggest you try layering high line with chez bond. I did and was pleasantly surprised.

Definitely getting Amouage reflection vibes, also vibes of the blend I made @ The Perfume Studio. (I recommend everyone to go and try the experience if they want a high end perfume mixing experience) This is super green, fresh, floral, like walking by a flower market. It starts green and turns creamy floral. Perfect for spring, although I do enjoy a bit more emphasis on the green and less on the floral aspects personally. This one is not too indolic, but definitely a fresh spring bouquet, with honeyed and creamy aspects. I am not getting the rhubarb I was looking forward to but there is a twist of citrus more floral though orange blossom maybe as bergamot is usually more distinctive aromatic (although it is in the notes.)

Second testing - feels really rich, a little too intense for the weather (18*) but may be my mild hangover skewing the picture. That said I think this is more of an early spring scent, for a crisp fresh morning rather than for a warm sunny day when it feels overwhelming (especially on a sunday after a night out!)

I went on a sample spurge last year after finding out about Bond 9 perfume house . (Strange name but I assume there’s always a background ).
I would say , I found four florals that I liked and two that I purchased bottles.
One notable compliment to the House is that longevity is nearly always predominant , hence the hefty price tag.
High Line is an unobtrusive , green floral that is safe to wear as a day scent .
However , after buying a bottle of Amouage Reflection , I would say I have only room for one crisp , green , pretty floral.
I believe the price is not justifiable as the scent stays linear and is nothing unique .
However saying that , if I didn’t know of Amouage Reflection before trying High Line , I would possibly love it even more .

Freshly cut grass! This is basically a salty green floral, almost aquatic, very clean and feminine. prefect for spring-summer. Longevity and projection are fantastic.

Furrreshhh, green grass, white sunlight, a chilling early spring morning breeze with a very clean linen accord. It’s brisk and optimistic, invoking imagery of a perfect blue sky and a beautiful Park embedded in a bustling city. The mature, sensible and powdery sister of Madison Square. It’s very corporate and appropriate, if that’s your vibe then you do you.

WOW I LOVE THIS!! Sooooooo fresh and light! Clean with a tinge of green apple and a very subtle hint of fresh cut grass! So crisp and airy! This is DEF a keeper!

This scent is right up my alley. It green but I would say it's more aromatic than fresh. It has a sweetness that isn't in most green or spring fresh scents. It's extremely chic and sophisticated. It's unisex but I would prefer this on a woman I think as ti would be more unexpected.

Spring “Green” bottled. Fresh cut flowers with tangy citrus, I don’t pick up the rhubarb note. It’s still winter here where I live and I’m anxiously awaiting spring so I thought I would wear a scent that matches my mood.

High Line is like so many other perfumes where tulip is the star: Amouage Reflection (better performance with a watery cucumber), Byredo Tulipe (more realistic tulip) and Cartier Carat (much less expensive). I used to think tulips did not have a scent, but I planted some rarer fragrant ones in my garden, and High Line plus the others mentioned above have the unmistakeable scent replicated.

It would be hard to not like High Line, and I do, but I like the others better. For me, the grass note makes this one different but not enough that I feel like I must have it.

This is really feminine, when I first smelled it I thought of spring, teenage girls and shampooed hair, herbal essence to be specific. Very fresh and clean and last forever. If you are one of those ladies that like to skip showers during hot sweaty summer days just spray this on your hair and bum bum before stepping out to mask your funky ahh, no one is gonna tell

Clean and very pleasant but rather boring, not clever enough to justify the price IMO. The sweet grass note is more abstract/perfume-y than a realistic one (which is what i tend to prefer). Maybe I'd consider it if it were drammatically cheaper... It might work on someone else. I think the High Line park deserves better.

Spring and green floral in a bottle. I’ve always loved this fragrance. It is so pretty and to me bright. Grass does take center stage which I love. This is so well done, I’ve smelled fragrances with grass notes and they were skanky with way to many aquatic notes.

Longevity, superb. Sillage very good on me.

It’s a safe fragrance to wear to a summer dinner date, garden party and wedding.

One of my staple fragrances. I discovered this beauty during my quest for the perfect freshly cut grass scent -which I haven't found yet- and I fell in love with it. I couldn't possibly describe it better than Hoxx down below -thank you for your beautiful review- though personaly I can't smell the rhubarb note. Which is quite strange because I am a rhubarb lover and I can smell it in Burberry Brit Red, some Nina Ricci fragrances, Hermès'rhubarb etc...
So what I like about this fragrance is what many reviewers mentioned: it smells like spring. It is fresh, green, floral and maybe a little bit ozonic. If the scent of fresh tulips could ever be captured, that would be that smell... I have Byredo La Tulipe in my collection. Though I love it I think it is a poetic interpretation of that flower. High Line is the tulip. At least to my nose.
Anyway the longevity of this fragrance is not subjective. It is just amazing. So ok, High Line is very expensive but definitely worth the money it you like that kind of grassy green fragrances!

First of all, longevity is great. Can smell it on my skin clearly 24 hours after spraying.

I'm a pretty "masculine" guy, but I tend to like lighter citrus and florals. I try not to get caught up in the masculine/feminine issue, if I like it I like it, but even this seemed too feminine for me... at first. I've worn my sample a few times now, and I've actually come to enjoy it a lot, to the point where I'm mulling a FB. Women can definitely wear this, but there's a hint of something greenish (what the hell does a color smell like anyway?) that takes the feminine edge off and makes me more comfortable wearing it as a man. I haven't seen iris mentioned, but all the notes combined come across similar to other iris notes I've tried. It sort of reminds me of a slightly brighter Atellier Iris Rebelle with some added white floral.

I think the the idea that a man's scent should be woody, spicy, tabacco, ambroxan, etc, is played out. I think scents like this and Sag Harbor are great for men because they're unexpected and attention-grabbing without being aggressive. Don't let your preconceived notions get in the way of what you enjoy. Man or woman, if you're looking for a light, airy, slightly green floral with great staying power, this is at least worth a sample.

I am sampling a bunch of the Bond fragrances and wearing this one tonight. This is ultra feminine IMHO and very much like Victoria's Secret Pink in the DNA, although the marine notes here are something not to be found in Pink. I think the reason I wanted this sample was probably because I really do love Pink and I must have picked up on that and was somehow enthralled. Honestly though, the ozonic quality is just a bit too much for me personally. I can see many people loving this scent as is is beautifully done and is long lasting and uber fresh.

This is simply pretty. Very light and beautiful. I disagree about the 80's shampoo description. I've worn this and received many compliments. It's not seductive by any means - it has that young pretty girl next door vibe. Inown a large bottle of this and I wear it often. However I sprayed some on my sister so she could try it - at first it was delightful on her too... we went for a walk in the summer heat with my dog at the beach... and after she perspired it somehow mixed with her sweat and smelled like Purell hand sanitizer!
This hasn't happened to me but it did happen to her so be warned.

I was finally able to sample this one. Lately I've been kind of a Bond junkie, so I've been trying to sample the many scents that I've bypassed for one reason or another, such as High Line.

Immediately, I get a noticeable similarity to Sag Harbor; it's a early-90's sharp "shampoo & hair spray" type perfume, largely feminine to me. There's a "greenness" to it that I almost feel like I'm being tricked into smelling by the beautiful packaging =) Quite strong and two sample-sprays filled the room, but it mellows out and isn't too cloying. WAY feminine though--oh yeah I said that already. . .

Not much else I can say about the aroma, other than now I smell like a 25 year old girl going out for Girl's Night. I hope this review is at least helpful for anyone who's like me, wants to sample some Bond's but wants to know if it's mostly for him, for her or good for both? In my personal opinion, this is DEFINITELY for her. It really does smell nice and lasts a good while. Worth trying, not sure about blind-buying because even though this a generally likeable aroma, women are very particular about what they wear =) hit her with a sample (not literally).

AMAZING! One of the best scents ever. Incredibly fresh and light. It has a crisp, coolness to it with the right amount of fruity and floral. I'm generally a fan of Bond No. 9 perfumes, but this is my favorite. It's a combination of Madison Square Park and Hudson Yards. Takes the best from both! I do wish it would last a little longer than it does. It doesn't have the staying power of an ambroxan scent like Madison Avenue. But if you're looking for a spring/summer scent that's airy and just beautiful - High Line is it!

There are "warm" fresh scents and "cold" fresh scents. This is definitely a "cold" fresh. Examples of a "warm" fresh are Bond No 9 Bleeker Street or Scent of Peace. High Line has an iciness to it. It's crisp and sharp and and stays airy even in the drydown. I like it as a wear to work scent because it is non-intrusive and will not offend but I should have waited till summer to buy....I bet this scent will rock on a hot summer day.

That's a very very nice grass scent! I like that it's sweet.

For Those of you who remember the 90s craze with all the design houses putting out perfumes, called "camellia" something or other-this is a throwback to that time.
There was a fragrance from St John called "White Camellia" and High Line is a dead ringer for it.

This really doesn't smell like grass anything-Its a fresh floral but not common or generic. I can definitely smell roses and tulips and its basically what this scent is about.
It lasted several hours on my hand(I only sprayed very small spray, once so lasting power is good).
If it was not so dang expensive I would have bought it.

It reminds me of St John's fragrance and makes me very nostalgic about that time of my life

Fresh green floral, not cloying or heavy

im the type of guy who isnt afraid of try something not so A typical when it comes to mens/unisex scents but this one shouldn't be classified as a unisex !


its very floral to the point that it made me feel uncomfortable :( and i had to run to the bathroom while being out to attempt to scrub it off

i thought i was safe with only applying 3 sprays boy was i wrong

anyways over all my initial thoughts on this scent was that it smelt nice on paper but after 3 sprays i felt like i had a cloud of this stuff covering me


all and all if your a female give this a go but if your a guy id stay away or at least stick to 1 spray lol

I bought High Line mainly because: a) it was 50% off and b) it was in the middle of a perfume buying flurry with a sort of pushy Sales Associate peddling Bond No.9 perfumes. From the ones that managed to stand out was this and Brooklyn (which I was already interested in after seeing it on here and Sephora's website). I thought High Line was a sweet fresh grass scent and the bottle drew me in as well.

However, upon smelling it again at home, not surrounded by other louder perfumes, it strikes me as sharp green scent with a whisper of vegetal cucumber-like sweetness. It's not for those sensitive types who can't handle heady scents. It's quite intense and doesn't really mellow out in the drydown.

I like it, but I don't really like wearing it on its own so I tend to layer it with another green scents or with creamy white florals (e.g. Kim Kardashian's self-titled fragrance) to round it out.

Let ignore two things for a moment... One... that this is a Bond No.9 fragrance and as such fairly pricey. and two...That it smells like many fresh scents you've smelled before.

I'm perhaps slightly biased as I sampled this scent in the Bond no.9 shop which is almost directly at the end of the High Line, shortly after enjoying a sunny stroll down it. The High Line is truly a great idea by the way and something more cities with similar elevated train lines should adopt, if they can.
What I did notice was lots of hardy grasses rather than colourful, delicate flowering plants. (although there is some of course.)
Anyway High line the fragrance opens with a burst of that freshness and citrus. I have to say... I wish I got rhubarb from this but I just don't sadly. The sales assistants assured me there was tulips in there and without being specific I'd say a non-sweet floral aroma is there. Hyacinth is absolutely present not something I'm over keen on when pungent but here it gives a nice 'WET' grassy quality.
This has to have a woody base for it to sit on and adhere to, I'm sure it's there but I can't really detect it. Maybe it is getting lost in a clean floral musk, which is green and pleasant till the bitter end in the drydown.
I like the fact that some thought has gone in to this fragrance about the high line and although when all is told it smells like a generic green/floral scent, the quality of ingredients is still apparent to me.
Performance is good and subtly projects as long as you don't go mad with application.
High Line is a lovely smelling scent just not one for me and not something I would be looking to add to my wardrobe.

Anyone know why there aren't more fragrances and votes for the "This perfume reminds me of" section? I smell this scent a lot on women. I'm sure there's a lot of fragrances that smell like this. Maybe tons of Bond No 9 workers are voting "No"? It just doesn't make sense to me. For what it's worth, this is a great fragrance. I'm sure it's extremely overpriced, however.

At first whiff, I thought, "floral", but no not floral. I smells like the outdoors on a spring day. The lawn has just been cut and there's a hint of rain that is about to fall. As it begins to dry down, I begin to sense the aroma of fresh flowers. Not strong enough to hide the grassy smell but there, nonetheless. I don't get oak or bergamot until the end. This is a very clean, fresh fragrance that I would wear during the day. If you are looking for a sexy, musky scent, this is not for you. I usually lean toward florals.(I own four different Michael Kors scents, if that tells you anything). Bond No 9's High Line doesn't scream FLOWERS!, it subtly introduces them after allowing you to enjoy the fresh, clean scent of the outdoors. I really didn't care much for it at first, but I'm warming up to it the longer that I wear it. I think that I've made a new friend who can sit between my Kors and my all time favorite nighttime fragrance, Joy!

Synthetic and Screechy, almost painful to my nose. It seems out of balance and just like many of the bonds smells. Just Like you have been sprayed by many different brands of hairspray by a hairstylist who is vaguely trying to tame your silly mane, and you are left dizzy and nauseous.

There's a note here that I can't quite describe. It has this silver sparkle. I've definitely noticed it in other women fragrances.

EDIT: Yes! There's an ozonic note, that's what I'm smelling.

green, green grass and flowers, great for a bright early summer day, enthralling and nice but not in my Bond's top ten..surely an easy target for all the Bond - haters out there!
got stopped in the street by a guy asking what i was wearing and...immediatly he checked it out on his smartphone...

I think it's lovely but not at all unique. Reminds me a bit of Pleasures and the flankers. Not sure why someone would pay so much for this experience. By the way, as an avid gardener I get a laugh out of the idea that it smells like pink tulips. Tulips very rarely have a scent. The ones most likely to are apricot in color.

Have in mind that I am a floral "maniac", but oh my god, this is really disgusting, cheap and soapy.

This is much too sharp and sour for me. The grass stays with me and mingles with the oak, which doesn't work on my skin. I unfortunately get very little of the floral. It's a nice smell in the bottle...I think this might be better as a candle.

The longevity on this scent is absolutely crazy. Put two sprays on at 3pm yesterday, today at 1pm, 22 hours and a shower later it stills smells so much that I don't need need to put on anything else!

Spring in a bottle!!!! It begins very floral and green. Reminding me of a fresh spring rain. Then after about an hour or so it becomes a sweet clean fragrance that will be very refreshing once it begins to get hot and muggy outside. Unfortunately, it is a fairly strong floral that I ended up sending back because it gave me a bad headache EVERYTIME at the initial spray.

HOTEL FLOWER SOAP

I have been continually disappointed with Bond. I find their fragrances unrefined and unnatural.

This is no exception.

I recently stayed at a Howard Johnson's hotel (more like a motel), and the little cake of soap in the cellophane had this exact scent.

I'm sure it's great if you like florals! I smelled Jergen's lotion every time I got a whiff.

Very floral. Im not much into flowery scents, so swapping it will go!

A lovely, light, mouth watering fragrance very similar to Eternity Summer 2011. Very grassy and fresh with hints of floral and sour fruit. Smells like cut grass on a cold day. Much better than (in my opinion) the horrid Astor place which even though people think smells similar, to me is completely worlds apart. High line does not have that soapy undertone that turns any kind of floral fragrance into smelling like old lady soap. Probably best worn in the summer months and only for day time.

Green grass, bright tulips and juicy rhubarb -- it's all there in the opening and very fresh composition. Stays true to these notes all the way through. The hyacinth comes in but since that's fairly grassy anyway it just contributes to the grass note. Doesn't last as long as the rest of the line, about three hours.

So far out of the 4-5 Bonds I have sampled, I like the scent of this one the best. First impressions, fresh and green. However, I sprayed it on at 4:30 and now it is 7:00 and only a trace remains. For the price I find this disappointing. Will edit once I've sampled again.

High line is one of the most bodied I ever smelled in my life. You can wear it during the day or for a Disco during the night. The women loves when I'm wearing it. And I have about 80 bottles of perfumes from "commercials" to most rares. From Bond no.9 I have 39 fragrance. High line is my top 2. My top 1 is no dobout the "mustang" New Haarlem.

For a change, I do not own this Bond... it came in a bon-bon set.

But boy, I can already tell I'm going to want to sniff this more, once my small sample is out...

I gladly describe this - and I say gladly, because this is a happy scent. Smile! I quickly think of cool green grasses, white/yellow floral, very light rose, and a 'clean linen' notion. It's very fresh.

Being a completely obsessed person with scents (I know, I'm in good company!) I oftentimes give my new samples a 'test run' in front of family or friends: people who will tell me things bluntly. Oh, you know, a quick pass in front to get a good wiff.

For whatever reason, my mother has commented each time when I'm wearing this. What are you wearing??? You smell GOOD! Shes a big jasmine nut (Elie Saab, Alien) and I think I can see why someone loving white florals would love this.

After sampling so many Bond no 9s, finally one that I like (along with I love NY for mothers, which is my all time favorite scent). This one is fresh, clean but not overly masculine, though a guy would probably be able to pull it off. I sampled about 10 different Bonds and this it a winner in my book.

smells just like fresh cut dark green grass (chlorophyl) after the rain and pink tulips in a vase filled with water, very feminine with rose lingering in the background with the slightest hint of dry wood. It's very grassy and floral, not very suitable for a guy but awesome for a woman especially during spring days.

I first tried High Line at the Bond No. 9 Saks Fifth Avenue counter last fall - but since it was fall and I thought it would be my next spring fragrance. Between last fall and today, a couple of lovely frags were added to my collection, including Seville a l'Aube by L'Artisan Parfumeur and the gorgeous Beloved by Amouage. However, as I was waiting for the long winter to end, I repeatedly caught myself revisiting that first encounter in my olfactory reverie. Spring finally came to NYC, hyacinths my favorite blooms came out, and my longing for High Line got stronger. Long story short - I ordered a full size bottle and it arrived TODAY! Jubilation! It is a masterfully crafted fragrance, and, as other reviewers pointed out, each note opens beautifully! I am now in my third hour of wearing it, and I have to say, it is magical how it develops with slight nuances on my wrist compared to overall: more woodsy on the wrist and still lovely middle floral notes elsewhere :-) This is my first Bond No.9, and I feel it is a very fortunate introduction to the house. Can't wait to wear it to the office tomorrow!

Spring in a bottle. I can't think of a fragrance that smells more like spring to me. Green, floral and fresh. I'm not usually a floral lover but I like High Line well enough. What stops me from adding this to my collection is after awhile it starts to give me a slight headache, there is something in there that kinda reminds me of cleaning products and I think that's whats doing it. It reminds me of Bond No 9 Astor Place. Sillage and longevity excellent as with all Bonds. One of the most beautiful bottles I've ever seen, wish I liked the smell well enough to display on my vanity.

This is very similar to Madison Square Park except where that is fruity and tangy, this is floral and fresh. I like this one much better. It starts off grassy but then dries down to a soft, somewhat powdery floral. Spring in a bottle! It's fresh in a shampoo way that reminds me of DKNY Golden Delicious, without the apple. Mmmm. I want!

If you could somehow extract the essence of spring and make it a center of your fragrance, can you imagine how would it feel? With this fragrance, Bond No 9 did it instead of me.

Imagine a walk through the park, or a well groomed garden. At the entrance you have a fine lawn, with all the blades of grass cut to the same size. They’ve been cut a day ago or so, so you can totally feel its freshness and greenness. As you walk you see a bunch of flowers of different colors and varieties. Getting close to them you can discern them. You see yellow and red tulips, blue hyacinths and a pink rose here and there. Can you feel its bouquet? If you can, you can have a guess what High Line is about.

Naturally, there are some differences in the real perfume compared to this story of mine. At first, while the opening is as grassy as it gets, it has a strong dose of sourness coming from citrus and rhubarb. Some of it stays during the heart too, especially the tart rhubarb note. Aside from that, it’s pretty much as I described it above – a green, very green floral, very refreshing and relaxing perfume.

Longevity is great and sillage is excellent. This perfume is spring in a bottle, so I see that same season as its most certain aim. However, due to its lightness and complexity at the same time, it can be worn whenever you want to feel fresh and youthful. I’d say that this one is more on a feminine side, yet a man can wear it with ease. A beautiful creation by Bond.

This starts off quite fresh I can definately detect the bergamot and in the first few mins is comparable to DKNY be delicious. However this really does develop and soon you have a really fresh powdery floral scent which smells very cheerful, perfect for a spring/summer day. I can't really comment on the lasting power as Ive only been wearing this for a few hours but Bond no 9 fragrances usually have good lasting power on me so fingers crossed.

Just got it after waiting & wishing for 2 years! Soooo excited!i love this fragrance! It is clean, fresh & feminine with out being fussy. Just perfect! It's expensive so I just couldn't buy it on a whim but then I found a great price on overstock.com & went for it. It's going to be my signature scent from now on! It does remind me a bit of Micheal Kors Very Hollywood tho!

this one is so lovely. i received a tester but still havent decided if i want to invest in it or not since its very overpriced for a perfume.

this one is a crisp green green, fresh and a little bit sweet scent. it has floral notes in it but its definitely very clean and sophisticated. its very soft but still distinctive. really really like this fragrance and how feminine it is. it reminds me of a confident woman.

Fresh, crispy, grassy with soft florals. So beautiful and feminine. Out of 3 Bond samples I tried, I love this one the most (the other two Madison Square Park and Chinatown). Will buy full bottle, despite poor longevity.

Edit: After second test decided that I like Madison Square better. Ordered a large bottle. MSP is more floral and feminine, while High Line is greener and fresher.

Out of the few Bonds that I have tried and wanted to like, this one finally gets the big nod and albeit the exorbitant price ( they could at least have put it in a baccarat crystal to make sense of the $400 it costs here), I find myself wanting a full bottle. I am tired of using the word "fresh" to describe a scent but unfortunately no other word suffices. Just as L'Heure Bleue makes me literally a little blue and sighing, this scent is a complete 180 and perks me up, like how blue eye drops are supposed to make eyes bright. In a phrase, this is a bottled garden. One with lots of grass and wildflowers as opposed to the hothouse flowers of Jean Patou's Joy. What wildflowers exactly, I can't tell you, but there's a whole bunch in there, with sprays of greens to temper the sweetness. Words that come to mind for this somewhat linear but pleasing scent are: bright, fresh (once again), energizing,(another overused word but does describe this), floral(subdued). For those who like big, loud scents, I would advise to NOT get this, the sillage is close and gentle, the longevity meets approval, about a full working day. For those looking for an understated, gentle fragrance, this would be an elegant choice.

I generally love green colognes and EDT's and I was anxious to try Bond's new green attempt. The initial notes? Great! I wish it kept them, b/c it very quickly dries down into a floral bouquet of smells. No more "green" after the quick dry down. All I could detect the rest of the day was floral notes. Not what I consider a man's scent, for me anyway. :)

Aldehydic roses, rhubarb and a dash of linseed oil. Smells like a very sexy woman in a woodworking shop. Cheery scent. The kind of scent that ladies who like lilies and sunflowers would like, orange and yellow. Energetic. Sporty.

Intense silage 10/10.

I have been wanting to try this for months. I finally stopped procrastinating and ordered a sample. I'm a lover of green scents, tulips and and...well...every other note attributed to Bond No. 9 High Line. It seemed like the quintessential fragrance for my tastes from the reviews I've read. So many times, I will set my expectations high over a scent I've read about, seen, or heard of, only to be disappointed. This is not the case. Every note is perfect, from opening to finish. Two hours after application, the burst of green has settled and the tulips and hyacinth are sprouting. Half-way through the day, the rose opens her bud. All the while, the sweet-tart rhubarb provides a background chorus. I am in LOVE, and if I don't own a FS bottle of this soon, I feel I shall perish. Sillage is wonderful; lasting power is amazing. Win!

I smelled this about a year ago and I ruled it out as an option for me. I thought it was much to feminine/floral. This spring, a friend sent me some samples and I loved wearing it. It is great alone, and as others have said it has amazing longevity and projection. I am absolutely hooked on blending it with NY Oud or Bond No. 9 Signature. I will definitely buy the 100 ml bottle next time!

I agree with the other reviews that describe this as a clean, greenish floral, but unfortunately my chemistry is uncooperative with hyacinth notes, and the hyacinth quickly drowned out the beautiful rhubarb, tulip, and grass notes, which I can still barely detect in the background.

I would love to know what this smells like when it's at its best on someone!

This includes Purple Love Grass... and I had to stop when I read that on their site. It is such a funny and carefree name for a grass! Maybe hippies named it, but I can declare that I've never heard of it used in a perfume before now. It's described as "the world's first railroad perfume with wildflowers, grasses, and urban renewal." I've imagined a subtle sweet grassy wind, when train windows are open in the Spring. It's not a fast moving subway car kind of fragrance.

Can't wait to try this one. The bottle is gorgeous. Just may be one of my favorite bottles ever!

One of the better recent Bond's. For me, Highline will work best in the warmer months.

The bergamot and grass get this started in a splendid way. A sold, clean green floral that is not especially natural. Lasts fairly well.

Since fragrances are a moving target, what wears well for one will not for another (don't you hate that!). I have been told by a number of women that they love wearing it.

Compliments (unsolicited, by strangers) are my measuring stick of how well a frag is working for you and I have received a number to date. That being said, since this wears well on me, I'll be wear it out and fish for compliments! lol

Bond no 9 HIGH LINE does not smell anything like any of the other Bonds I've tried to date (33!). That's already some good news--and especially for a collection which could benefit from a bit of editing... And HIGH LINE's exciting combination of notes holds a great deal of promise to a floral-green lover such as myself: rhubarb, grass, rose, tulip, hyacinth! Yum!

Unfortunately, when the spritz hits my skin, HIGH LINE just smells like another synthetic peony frag. A somewhat watery, greenish synthetic peony frag, but a peony frag all the same. As I have a personal peony problem, finding it very difficult to wear certain renditions of that note, some components of which are clearly present here, HIGH LINE is definitely not for me. If I had a bottle of this, it would sit idle on my shelf--for decorative purposes only.

However, anyone who likes peony fragrances will surely appreciate this creation by Bond no. 9. As for staying power, HIGH LINE fully conforms to Murphy's Law of Longevity: the less wearable a fragrance is for me, the longer it seems to last!

When I first tried this in a well aircontitioned room it was love. Cut grass, dry hay, and faint roses came together and it was breathtaking.

On another occasion, I tried it in humid 90 degree NYC weather, and I couldn't stop gagging. The calone that gives it the "watery" quality does not agree with me in hot weather. In the summer, I find Union Square to be a beautiful alternative.

Got a bon bon of this and it is fabulous! I can't stop sniffing my wrist- I have tested this now for past 3 days and it lives up to my expectation every time. First you get the grass, oak and touch of citrus, then it develops these yummy floral notes that are so artfully blended. This lasts well over 5 hours on me. My experience has been wonderful, and I want to buy a bottle of it when my bank account is a little fatter.

A "smelled it a million times before" green/marine fragrance, but it is very well done and should appeal to those folks who like their scents squeaky clean. Marketed as unisex, men could easily wear this. If you're looking for a green scent that is richer and more complex, I recommend Covet by Sarah Jessica Parker.

I took the high road to one of my favorite perfume watering holes, Bond No. 9 NYC as I was anxious to try their latest so I picked up a sample of High Line and also I wanted to try Success Is A Job in NY. I've been wearing High Line for almost two weeks straight and I guess you can say yes I'm a little hooked and high on High Line. This is surprising for me as I usually steer clear of the outdoorsy green scents.
The opening is none other than a extremely fresh citrus mixed with enough grassy weed greenery to satisfy every nature loving enthusiast. Next comes a huge blast of the semi sweet,sour, tart and energizing rhubarb. Now that's a good start!
Next stage the lightly fragrant tulips quietly tiptoe in and join a smidgen of grape hyacinth and a touch or orange until the stronger sent of rose takes over. Perfect combination!
Last stage, a wet like moss mixed with musk with a tinge of wood that lingers on long enough to last the day. This is a unique and unisex fragrance that I will wear on occasion but this will probably end up in the hands of my husband as green scents are his thing and he does wear them well. Overall its a great scent for green lovers and Bond No 9 rarely if ever disappoints. For me though I'm on to Warhol's Success next as I need that hit of patchouli!
