Fatale Intense by Agent Provocateur is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Fatale Intense was launched in 2015. Top notes are Licorice, Dewberry and Chili Pepper; middle notes are Champaca, Red Rose and Lotus; base notes are Vanilla, Leather and Amber.

Fatale Intense, the new fragrance by Agent Provocateur announced for June 2015, comes after the original Fatale (or Fatale Black) from 2014 and flanker Fatale Pink, also from 2014.

The new fragrance is announced as a spicy and floral oriental. It opens with an unusual combination of licorice and spicy chili peppers. Floral notes, which include lotus, form the heart of the perfume. Black leather, vanilla and amber are in the base.

It is available in a red bottle and box of the original design as 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

A basket of fruits that are into BDSM

vixen1995

I don’t get all the comparisons to the Angel line and calling it a dupe, I’m very familiar with those, But, This is very much its own fragrance, Warm and sweet, Spicy and kind of “hot” feeling from the Chili Pepper note. I really like it, The price is affordable, And the bottle is gorgeous! Hard to go wrong with Agent Provocateur.

TDSollog

On me, this is as if Mugler Angel (original formula) and the original Lolita Lempicka "did the nasty".... this is the product of their union. Spicy, sexy, with licorice and leather. I've gotten compliments from powerful men who want a powerful women to (ahem) "influence" them.....

Justysiab

I think this is great for the price. Although it has similarities to Mugler’s Angel, it’s not the same fragrance. It lasts well, the dry down is musky in my skin. One of my favourites .

Chuneyes

A very interesting scent, I hated it when I first sprayed it because of the spicy chili note. However now that it's macerated it's very provocative, to me it smells naughty. It gives me sweaty skin after sex and you are enjoying a cigarette and your lipstick is smeared while you lay in the arms of your man.

IanaM

the bottle has been waiting for unpacking for 5 years, the collection is large, there are many more interesting new products, but... this is a pleasant, addictive and a very budget version of the classical Angel Mugler, very suitable for the winter holidays

RoseAtDusk

Licorice with a dash of chili pepper. Even though it's not listed in the notes, I also smell patchouli. This perfume shares similarities to Lolita Lempicka, namely the strong powdery licorice note, but this scent is much warmer and more syrup-y. It's a unique fragrance; Sweet with a slight edge. The lasting power and sillage are so-so, but this is a cheap perfume so perhaps that's to be expected. If you like licorice, you'll wanna try this.

LouD23

First of all, the bottle is gorgeous. A mysterious deep red jewel nestled in the palm of your hand, and so I expected the juice inside to reflect that.
Alas, I have learned - never judge a perfume by its bottle. I wanted to love this, I really did. I was hoping for something sweet, dark, and spicy, but what I got was a disappointing mush of unidentifiable notes. It is sweet, I'll give it that, it is spicy. It is a little dark. But not in the way I imagined. One note is largely indistinguishable from another, and I had to sniff real hard and focus to pick anything out. Eventually I think I picked out the dewberries, and the bitter chilli pepper, and something dusty in the background that might have been patchouli. I guess the sweetness must be the vanilla. It's not unpleasant really, in fact, it smells quite nice and it will probably get you compliments. I'm sure that men will like this on a woman, but I didn't like it. It just smelled like a generic woman's perfume to me, the kind you smell on drunk girls at the club - the ones wearing a lot of dark eyeliner and red lipstick, maybe a pair of fishnets. It's got a bit of a boss babe vibe, but she's a little bit trashy, a little bit skanky.
She may or may not try to sleep with your husband at the office christmas party after a few too many glasses of wine.
She comes on too strong, and wants to be the centre of attention. It has a bit of something masculine to it - might be the chilli and leather.
If I smelled this in the air, on someone else, I think I'd like it more, but for me, it just doesn't work, even though all those notes sound like they would be incredible together - I just don't think they were blended well enough to balance each other out.
Done right, this could be a beautiful perfume.
I will say that it's nice and strong, and lasts on the skin, but Fatale Intense is not for me. It just doesn't suit my personality.

Flared Maple

I got this in a trade because I was really curious to see how similar it is to Angel.

It is quite similar, but also not really. This is a much friendlier version of Angel, a bit softer. Still heavy on the patchouli, but a little bit more crowd pleasing. I feel like more people will be able to pull this off.
I also get far more compliments on this than on Angel.
I'm the DM for a D&D group, and this has become my go-to scent for this occasion. Its mysterious, dark, sultry and spicy. Fits the vibe perfectly.

That being said, this will never replace Angel for me. I like the complex funkiness Angel gives even if its not so crowd pleasing.

jetpet

I'm really attracted to novel scents. However, when I first opened the bottle and sprayed - I detected a note that immediately made me think of the nitrous oxide mask at the dentist's office.

I put the bottle back in the box for a few months and then tried it again yesterday. I sprayed a couple of sprays on my bed blanket and then left for a bit and forgot about it. When I came back into the room later I picked up on the fragrance and was more intrigued.

I'll probably edit this again later - but my thoughts right now are that I plan to give it a full blast/full day run soon. There's definitely a note here that hits me as wtf but also something very elegant about this fragrance.

brandyalyssa

To me, it just smells like cleaning products. I don’t know if I got a bad bottle or what, but I really don’t like it. :(

sunnybird

My husband loves this perfum he always asks me to wear it
Although for me I think is very warm and sharp perfume smells more Licorice to me

twoski

For a cheap designer fragrance, this one is alright. I think i got 100ml for about 40 bucks.

As with most designer fragrances this one has that "mass produced" vibe. It's 'perfume-y' in that none of the notes really stand out as authentic or real and there's no jagged edges, everything has been sanded down to create a simple, streamlined olfactory experience with no challenges for the nose. The sweet generic fruity florals make this a very stereotypical femme fragrance.

I get a tangy sweet fruity floral with a pretty tame leather backdrop. It's unique as far as designer fragrances go but it still feels like it's lacking a bit in personality.

Performance on fabric is pretty weak, overspraying this fragrance doesn't really help since its longevity is pretty meh. Feels like more of an eau de toilette if we're being honest.

Do i like the scent? Yeah, it's pretty mass pleasing. Would i recommend it? Nah... I think this perfume concept would have potential if it took more risks. Make the leather a bit more punchy, make the pepper a bit more zingy (add something like ginger, idk) and maybe reduce the generic bland floral mishmash into something a little more interesting.

astillwind

I've been collecting fragrances for over a year now, and this one is my very favorite of any perfume I have tried thus far. When I first sprayed it, I was a bit disappointed. I thought it was good, but also quite ordinary.
However, as it began to blend with my skin, I felt like I had found a scent that fits me like a glove.

For hours I get these wafting bubbles of such a heavenly scent. I'm not sure how chili peppers, leather and licorice can do that, but they do. It doesn't blast itself out into the world, but stays close to me so I can enjoy it, but also can garner compliments if someone is close.

I love all my perfumes, for different reasons, but this one feels like it was made just for me. What a wonderful experience!

Blyth33s

I love this fragrance it’s seriously in the best for the price that I have in my collection. I don’t have a huge bottle but I know that the 1 ounce that I do have will be gone through quickly. It is the most sexy fruity floral warm fragrance it’s so feminine and so inviting I love when I can smell it on myself and it pairs well with many other fragrances since it covers a gorgeous accord

Julmatee

I love it! It's spicy, but light - great for everyday. It lingers on my skin for a long time, without being overpowering. Not offending

Iloveperfume8695

Longevity: very good. After spraying it on at 7-8 pm I wake up the next day & it's still on. It lingers well into the rest of the day. I swear i smell it on me 2 days after I've applied it.
Silage: people smell it on me from far away.
I get all the notes especially leather, pepper & amber. Hope you have the same luck as I do with this scent & body chemistry. On me it smells like a sweet leather, pepper & amber perfume. It's really a different type of perfume for me. Ive never worn something like this. The leather, amber really grew on me overtime. I love the kick of the pepper.

FBRADLEY

I brought this when I first began my extensive fragrance collection. I loved it at first, loved everything about it. Wore it today for the first time in 2 years. It does smell like a softer Angel when first sprayed and a hour or two later. I do not care for the dry down after 2 hours. I can still smell it but changes to something just ordinary. It starts to smell more sweet and just ok.

caulfieldholden

angel edt and the lolita lempicka mon premier had a quite synthetic and hairsprayish baby.

MaySabty

One of my favourite Parfums 🥰 .. it’s pretty and loud and amazing.. I get so much complements when I wear it.. great Parfum and so cheap.. love it ❤️

Dzai

Love this! Perfect for a sexy date. Interesting spicy opening with contrasting pepper and licorice notes. Develops into a sexy powdery spicy vanilla and amber glory! Very provocative, sizzling hot confident fragrance!

kittywhiskers

This is a perfect dupe if you like the drydown of Angel, but only in the scent itself - longevity and sillage do not compare to Mugler's fragrance, at least I can barely smell it on myself after a couple of hours when sprayed on clothes. So kinda disappointing in that way. The licorice note is nice and soft and balances well with the floral and berry notes. Can't wait to try it in the summer, I think it may perform better. 6/10

unicorn1

I got this at Rexall for $19.99 and I stood looking at it and then read the reviews from here. It was funny because many said it didn't resemble Angel at all, and many said it did. I wish I would have listened to the ones who said it did. I smell zero licorice or vanilla or dewberry in this perfume, which was so disappointing. To me it smells very much like a cousin/sibling to Angel but with a very manly cologne scent as well (could be a good unisex frag?). I will let it sit and try a few more times and I'm hoping it will change because I find nothing sexy about this perfume so far yet so many raved about it. I hate when blind buys go bad...
EDIT: I wore this again today and perhaps I was a bit harsh in my first review. I’m not sure if the perfume needed to sit and open up or if a week of me wearing gourmands made me appreciate this a little more. All day I have been smelling it and thinking “ok, this is pretty sexy”.:)

Georgie7979

I received a sample of this fragrance when purchasing Angel Muse EDP and was excited to try it because of the reviews here and the interesting notes listed. I have worn it a couple of times now and I can smell most of the notes (except the florals) as the fragrance develops, a characteristic that I love about it! The dewberry and chilli creates an interesting sweet and punchy dynamic with the licorice adding a slightly masculine but cooling edge. The leather is rich but adds a fairly subtle dimension to the fragrance which helps to balance the sweetness out. The vanilla base is nice and rounds out this fragrance well (I am a predominantly Angel (and its flankers) wearer so I love vanilla bases). The projection is quite weak and the fragrance (on me anyway) disappears very quickly so I need to spray a lot and re-spray every couple of hours (I am used to the Angel range so my assessment of projection and strength is held to that standard). I actually really like this scent and the way the sweetness of the dewberry and vanilla wafts up from my clothes and skin, however I enjoy big loud fragrances that I can smell strongly on myself all the time. A co-worker who is used to all my loud Angel's commented that this fragrance is pleasant, but the Angel line is really what suits me, I have to agree! I would consider purchasing this fragrance if it came up on sale as its suitable for occasions where a light skin style scent is appropriate.

Kiwigoddess

OMG I fucking love this! 😍For me, this is everything done right in a perfume. Those below saying it has poor performance, obviously have the wrong skin chemistry for this. Due to a back injury, I can't sit for long so was pacing back and forth during a meeting online 12 hours after putting this fragrance on and was walking into a trail of Fatale Intense in all its glory.

This is a night time fragrance worn by a woman who commands respect, knows exactly what she wants and how to get it and her lingerie alone would probably just about make any man cum in his pants. She is bold, provocative and not afraid to take control in the bedroom where her perfume is not the only thing which will be intense. Fatale Intense screams corsets, suspenders, fish net stockings and stiletto heels. Sex in a bottle 🫦🍆🍑❤️

itsamarshmallowworld

Fatale Intense is all about contrasting notes and evocations that harmonize beautifully together. The licorice and leather balance each other out. The heat from the chili pepper creates a sultry heatwave, followed soon after by a contrasting coolness from the dewberry. It’s a torrid, yet sweet affair on the skin, beginning like a hot summer romance, and phasing out to a slow, resonant burn.

Marina.Klr

Not my cup of tea. Dark and leathery, with a dusty background. Spicy and mysterious. Heavy and wintery, or suitable just for the night hours, it definitely requires a commanding personality to wear it. It has a unique smell, it's worth a try, but I wasn't crazy about it.

_jenevieve_

In the 80’s my bachelor Uncle was super cool. He made neon art, had a chopper motorcycle, and drove a Fiero sports car. He was super handsome and had lots of girlfriends. He came to visit me one time when he was on a road-trip around the United States. Agent Provocateur Fatale smells exactly like the trunk of my Uncles’ Fiero.
Now, I don’t mean it in a bad way at all. There’s just something about this that’s a bit like sweet cologne, mixed with light sweat, dried onto clothes, and stuffed into the trunk of a sports car. And I love it! It never stops reminding me of this scent memory. Every. Single. Time. Lol.
I don’t find it similar to OG Angel, maybe there’s a slight resemblance to the newer formulation. On the dry down I really get the dewberry. Fatale is one of my heavier patchouli frags, and when I’m in the mood- it totally hits the spot.

brand117

I initially got this since I love Mugler Angel, but it truly does stand on its own. It's almost like a close cousin, but the licorice and chili pepper allows it to stand alone without the heavy dose of patchouli that Angel drenches you with. I don't think one is necessary if you have the other, but I do love them equally.

AutumnJewel

Note For Myself:
Compared to Angel this is wayyyyy less intense which I prefer as Angel smells horrible on me! The only issue with this fragrance is it doesn’t last long and (odd comment ) it’s not complex enough??? Maybe adding a lotion next time I purchase.

mandalynnwin

A much weaker, more boring Angel. Not unpleasant, just lackluster. Projection & longevity both very poor.

CatOwned

This smells great to me! This is sexy or just powerful.

I definitely get the spice and licorice smells. I think a get a wee bit of leather, and definitely notice the amber element to it. This is just intoxicating to me.

editing to add: This smells nothing like Angel to me? I get a lot of licorice out this one. There is nothing manly about this scent, at least not to me nor on my skin. It smells very sexy and very dominant to me. This also has good projection and longevity on me 🤷♀️ This in fact smells sweet to me, so idk how this is masculine lmao.

Gail14

This is a beautiful, sophisticated amber fragrance. So sexy! I like this one and it's very affordable.

GUADELUPA

Amazing fragrance of pepper + dewberry + licorice. It's very beautiful and attractive. For extravagant ladies will be perfect! Dating or business negotiations - it's suitable for everything. Wearing the Fatale Intense, you will be the real star. Extraordinary and positive scent. Heavy and light at the same time. Longevity and sillage are eternal on the clothes. It has immediately become one of my all time favorite fragrances! And the price is affordable.

vulcano

I was absolutely seduced by the bottle and the notes.

The top gives me spicy licorice with a contrasting cool as from frozen berries. Soft spicy captures it well. Then it kind of fizzles out into nothing, like the notes cancel each other out, but I have a cold so I will update later.

DonDonna

I was surprised to see how many people like this perfume. The opening is beautiful but as the perfume dries down it starts to smell synthetic and well... like a bug spray.
I didn't want to get rid of it because the bottle is stunning, and as I said the opening is lovely, but I started to get headaches because the scent is so strong and even after washing my clothes I could still smell it.
I gave it to my friend, she liked the perfume at first, but after time she couldn't stand it anymore.
Let's end this on a positive note, at least it's a unique scent!

CeliaLee23

I don’t get the hype around this one. The opening smells nice to me but the dry down is horrendous. It reminds me of the cheap aftershave my grandfather used. I ended up giving my bottle to my daughter and she absolutely loves it but I can’t even stand to smell it on her. Smells like a dusty leather glove and old patchouli. Nothing sexy or pretty about this perfume.

yunoh

Because i like licorice i obviously like this. The price is really reasonable and it's my most complimented fragrance. It smells really sweet. If you like angel and lolita lempicka you might like this. The performance is fine for the price.

Udacha

For my nose, it's a very dark, drunk even fermented rose ....Not my fav...say the least ..I will leave it in my collection just for layering ..but with what? hmmmmm

Rober7a

Not gonna lie, I bought it for the bottle, that red glass shaped like a gem is gorgeous 😂😍, so since it was cheap I bought it hoping I would love the smell too. And it's nice, not a love but it's quite interesting. Leathery sweetness with a bit of licorice and a hint of spiciness. Something is missing though, it feels really cold, I wish other notes could shine a little more. If anyone has layering ideas for this, let me know. This would definitely blend well with a leather jacket or a coat. Still it's fairly sweet and feminine, not in a girly way. Projection and lasting power are below average, but I prefer it that way. This type of scent is better in gentle whiffs as if your own skin smelled like this after wearing some leather garment, rather than filling up a room when you walk in.

ThaLeena

I only bought this because someone rated it similar to Queen. I desperately have been trying to find Queen, I paid a good chunk for a 3/4 filled bottle of that, which I'll ration to my grave. I think this is a good substitute. It gives me the spiciness and warmth I love of Queen, with the licorice. I'll definitely wear this more often So I can save Queen for special times. I really do love the price point because it's reasonable. I agree with the other raters who said it doesn't last long. I suppose for the price though it's a good trade off. I don't smell Angel, which is good cuz I already have two bottles of that--I guess everybody has their own unique nose.

madonnatella

this is a fabulous perfume. it works more as 'one cloud' which nevertheless does not refuse to let the scent send, now and then, a single note 'up and forward'. so I smelled the fruity accord of 'dewberry', while I'll guess I often take the liquorice wrongly as sandelwood. I did got a nose full of pimento which is great. it is in one of Diana Vreelands perfumes too. it is a fierceful perfume, stemming from the heritage of their mother [and mother in Law] Vivienne Westwoods Boudoir, and their first magic fragrance Agent Provocateur. so the 'clôche' of the perfume isn't inconspicious. Champaca, Rose and Lotus make for a rich flowery heart. here, the vanilla is certainly heavy but sufficiently perfume-y. I simply love this present, as well modern as nostalgic trail of the 'Fatale Intense'.

AnlisaC

Too bad this doesn’t last on me at all. It is pretty but disappears in 2 seconds flat! I can still faintly smell it on my clothes! Such a pretty fragrance with NO projection or lasting power

Gigiija

It was the blind purchase. Too sweet and strong for me. Sometimes it seemed sweet that my head was beginning to hurt. I tried to like it, but nothing worked out. My nose didn't like a few notes.

elenaprozorova

I really liked it at first, and it reminded me of Angel EDP with licorice aftertaste. But the performance was awful: the smell went away without a trace in minutes (did I receive a fake perfume?). Had to throw it away

jeanharlow

I really thought I would like this perfume as I love a few other Agent Provocateur fragrances in the egg bottles, but alas this is on a completely different realm to those. I can't shake the Angel vibe and I am not a fan of Angel. After about 15 minutes it settles into what is essentially Pink Sugar with extra caramel, soap and chilli. The caramel wafts are quite nice but the combination of soap with it feels weird and stings my nose. I think I would quite enjoy this on someone walking past me but only for a moment, otherwise this is just too sweet for me. There is something addictive about it because I keep sniffing it only to remember I don't like it and then I sniff it again...not bad but not my style.

Seldarius

Bought a sample because the notes seemed interesting and the bottle quite beautiful. When I opened it it seemed vaguely familiar. Then it hit me - it’s Angel (which I haven’t had in several years). I don‘t know how, since it doesn’t seem to have much in common, but I don‘t get anything in the pyramid, just an Angel dupe. My husband hates it, he describes it as cherry cough syrup/chemical liquorice. I find it pleasant, but I doubt I‘ll get a full bottle.

Hypnotic Flower

Just got it in the mail. Okay, lemme say that the red bottle is GORGEOUS, so sexy, elegant, provocative.I LOVE IT. This smells like Angel to me, I cannot tell the difference or detect the single notes because I have never owned Angel, only smelled it a billion times and it's all I'm smelling upon first spray. However, I do detect the spicy note, I love this modern twist, very particular and unique. I will come back to update you about the sillage and overall performance.
Update: This lasts days on clothes!!

Soccergreat88

I really enjoy this one. It was a blind buy in a swap and I was hesitant to get it because I wasn't sure by the notes. I do enjoy angel and I see similarities to it. I would say it is in between angel muse and angel since the patchouli is toned down and is more sweet. It has more of a perfumey quality than angel and is more enjoyable and easier to wear IMO.
I get a sweetness with a licorice quality but its hard to depict the notes, to be honest. It's really nice and addictive in my opinion but I wouldn't recommend this for a blind buy as not many people would like it.

mimircks

Licorice and spicy chili peppers. Oh. My! This is the dark, slutty-but-yummy, heavy-duty ish that you're not sure if you like or not. Fatale Intense is that next-level deep "black" fragrance that could go either way. I'm so here for it all! It's a whole mood up in here!

DESJava

This is Angel Mugler but more tone down.
It was a great blind buy in term of :
Price : €10 /:50ml
Scent: 7 / 10 (not unique)
Longevity: 6 hrs on skin and days on clothes
Sillage : Heavy
Projection : Arm length.
The bottle represent the red scent, spicy, sexy.

Elfactory

Anyone knows if Fatale Intense has been discontinued? Other than ebay and some small time sellers, the big online stores haven't had a restock of this bottle for some time. Just when I've fallen in love all over again...

Miss_Nathalie

I just dont know. I have the feeling that its overhyped. Ill give it a few tries but I dont find this sexy so far.
It does has the same vibe as Angel but my throat stings from this one. It has no sweetness...and where is the think syrupy berry note with vanilla that I heared of? Im just gonna keep trying.

*update* ok now were talking. When its completely settled but like completely. Its not even close to Angel. The opening only has a Angel vibe and yes vibe...not a dupe or clone. I get a powdery/dusty spicy vanilla now. With a tiny bit of black currant scent. And thats something I do like. And please dont compare this licorice with Lolita, because its nowhere near. It was my signature scent for almost 20 years. But I replaced it with This is her. 🙂 I know its a completely different style but 🤷♀️

GirlOnFire

This absolutely has the Thierry Mugler Angel DNA but is in some ways even better? I love Angel, by the way, and this is a slightly spicy (chilli pepper) chocolate patchouli but is not as skanky as Angel. There’s a vanillic creaminess to it that drives me wild with euphoria, blending scrumptiously. This is an incredible perfume. Highly recommend.

arin90

Honestly, INSANE. Purchased 100ML many times now - at £10 what a bargain! It smells incredible, sweet, alluring, sexy, perfect. One of the cheapest perfumes in my collection and it still beats many of my expensive ones.

mothmama

Hoo boy, now THIS is something else. I absolutely love it! My first thought after spraying it on my hand was "chili chocolate!", but after a while I only smelled chili. I don't smell licorice sadly, just very floral, slightly sweet chili (which is still amazing). I wish I brought a bigger bottle.

lovealwaysalisa

Was looking for something to give me the same vibe as Queen by Queen Latifa since it is now discontinued and getting so hard to find. This was suggested numerous times. First impression...the bottle gives this fragrance a luxe feel even before you smell it....it captures the feel of this very well. I agree with the opinion that this smells like Angel by Mugler but a softer, fruitier version. This is a beautiful fragrance and I know I will reach for it often come cooler weather. I get the leather, vanilla, berry and chili pepper.. Very sexy, intoxicating and cozy. Doesn't smell much like Queen to me though. This is spicier and slightly tart from the Dewberry.. but the 3 are all in the same family so to speak. To my nose anyway.. Angel is quite chocolate/patchouli dominant, Agent Provocateur, spicy fruit/leather dominant, and Queen is coffee/cognac liquor dominant. I now own and love all three.

Mystères du Château de Dé

Syrupy synthetic for teens, and more the boys than the girls. Smells familiar, like a pleasant car fragrance, or a body spray. I think it would mix well with BO and sweet booze breath. Nostalgia for High School.

BabyDoll______

I blind bought this today as I scored the 50ml for $11.
I opened it as soon as I got in my car and it instantly reminded me of Rebelle by Rhianna. I was not impressed at first and I waited about an hour to sniff my hand again and while it still reminds me of Rebelle there is somthing different in this that makes this much more tolerable and delicious! It just a super sexy deep leathery vanilla with some spice! 😍

CheriLyn

Does anyone else get strawberry chapstick vibes (+ PATRUOILLI) from the drydown?
I don't hate it, but not super excited about it either. I should have know... most strawberry/raspberry scents smell like chapstick on my skin.
( •̥́ ˍ •̀ )( ̄へ ̄)

Glad I only spent $11 on the 30mL.

GabbyVersusThe

Hours after I spritzed my wrists with a few test sprays, Fatale Intense is still going STRONG.

EDIT: The more I think about Fatale Intense, the more I dislike it.

bel.gravia

So similar if not identical to Angel EDP, sweet chocolaty patchouli 😋 Mostly like the old good first Angel, not EDT, not anything else. It smells more like Angel than the actual Angel EDT 2019 I have on my wrist. Doesn't have the enormous longevity and sillage as Mugler but for the £20 or less I can't complain.

MsFaith89

I can’t understand for the life of me the comparison to Angel. Angel is no where near sweet or sugary it is a heavy patchouli bomb. This is more feminine and sexy . It isn’t the best but it isn’t the worst. Not a must have IMO. It does have good longevity and sillage I will say. But it’s nowhere near in comparison to Angel AT ALL.

Ellsa

Is not exactly the same as Angel but it’s the little sister. Angel is more sweet and sugary and this one is like men’s aftershave lotions. So happy that this time I was smart enough to buy only the small bottle because of the reviews that said it smells like Angel. And of course as all the perfumes that I dislike, the longevity of this one too, is enormous. I think for a man this perfume could be great.

hexed

I wouldn't compare it to Angel. It's a bit like having a berry ice pop melt onto your leather glove. Berries always make me think of booze as well... It might sound kinda kinky but it's really very sweet and girly. It's a fun party girl scent, not sexy but attention-grabbing and energetic. I do wish the leather was more prominent, it's not really enough to balance out the sugar, a little darkness would make it more interesting.

At the beginning of my perfume journey I thought this was great, now I find it incredibly synthetic. It project very well though, I'll give it that! The notes make it sound a lot more interesting than it is. I can see why many like it though, it's very contemporary and sweet. I wouldn't mind smelling it on someone else but I can't stomach to wear it myself

SimplyShandi

I honestly can't believe all the bad reviews. I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I smell peppers and vanilla... I really wish it smelt more like licorice. I DO NOT understand why people thinks it smells like Angel... NO WAY. I really wanted to like Angel... I like Nova, love Alien and ADORE Aura. Angel just smells like a clean gas station bathroom. I might have to list this as a favorite! It has been the longest lasting perfume on me. Normally when I'm out paying bills or shopping, I spray before I go into a place. So, quite a bit. I like to smell my perfume! Anyway, I sprayed this literally twice all day. Love it...

Bubbles1964

Always have been curious about this brand, and now I get a chance to try it. Fatale Intense smells like so many others on the market; synthetic, too sweet and fruity.

Also, the place were I sprayed my carded sample caused my skin to feel like it was burning. I had to wash it off before Fatale Intense fully developed. Maybe it was going to get better in the transition but I don’t think so. At least they got the name right: it is fatal and it is intense.

nuhashuna17

A bit overhyped but I’ll finish the bottle. Original fatale is way nicer and just perfect

Ferra_Verto

Fantastic dupe for Angel surprisingly enough! I don't really smell the chili pepper note, just a wonderful blend of dewberry, licorice, champaca, and vanilla. Sweet, but with a lot of fantastic depth.

dalia-banna

I have got this from winners for 35$ CAD, this very similar to Alien, I did not expect a lot from it, but it won't stay in my collection.

noircat

I was excited to try this after hearing such great reviews and ughghfh. Was this disappointing. First off, there's nothing "Fatale" or "Intense" about it. This is some weak juice. With that bottle and those notes, I wanted some punch, some guts, some glory! Total. Letdown. Its mild berries and mild spice. Mild. Soft. Gentle. Unsophisticated. Boring. I could only find this scent interesting if I tried really really hard to and lied to myself. I cannot for the life of me understand the comparison to Angel, and I didn't like that scent either.

Galya_

Maybe I had too high expectations for Agent Provocateur's parfumes. Unfortunately, their quality corresponds exactly with the price.
I don't find anything feminine or sexy in the Fatale Intense. It reminds me cheap masculine odecologn. Will remember this fragrance only with the headche, that it brought me.

d_silent_one

This is an exact dupe of Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo. I couldn't stand it and gave it away to my best friend.

I forgot to say that I'm sad I didn't like the fragrance because I find the bottle breathtakingly beautiful. (One of the main reasons why I bought it.)

RubyRedCancer

I wouldn't say this is a dupe for Angel, but it is along those similar lines of Angel, Hypnotic Poison, etc. The opening on this is marvelous to me. It is so juicy and full of licorice and pepper. I have to just sit and let the top notes wash over me while I enjoy them. I love them that much. I have no idea what a dewberry is supposed to smell like. It doesn't smell syrupy to me. The opening has great silage. My family could smell me as soon as I walked into the room.
Then, it is almost as if the perfume disappears on me. The middle notes are very subdued and watery. It becomes more of a skin scent, which is a touch disappointing after such a great opening. However, my family enjoys the middle notes when I'm close and hugging them and I get a waft every now and then.
Then the base notes start coming into play and the vanilla and amber are so warm and comforting. I sprayed 12 hours ago and just woke up to the beautiful dry down. It isn't strong, but it is just enough. I do get more leather with the middle notes which i think is why it's more difficult for me to smell the floral as I just think leather tends to smell more like masculine skin.
Lovely fragrance. Like I said, I can't say it's an appropriate dupe for more expensive perfumes, but I just love it.
Definitely more appropriate for cooler weather and evenings: fall, winter, and even some crisp spring days/evenings when I'm feeling extra. Not for the office or church, but it can be a daytime fragrance for a more bold and mysterious woman that wants to strut around with no cares about whether her fragrance is "appropriate or not".

justfloral

CHERRIES, sweet candied cherries in syrup + strawberry syrup + chocolate + cotton candy/caramel + buttery note + orris + patchouli.
It really reminds me Sweet by Lolita Lempicka (but without lipstick, without "cat-pee"-like medicinal patchouli and with extra chocolate). It is also Angels younger sister (watered down without gingerbread and the horrible mildew note).
I love the bottle's colour.

Kswhittaker

I have blind bought it because I quite like angel.
I would say it does smell similar to angel EDT.
Very chocolaty, even tho it doesn’t have chocolate in the notes. Longevity 3-4 hours.

ssss4ssss

I can't stand this on my skin. It was cheap and highly recommended on social media by the fragrance community, so I blind bought it. From the bottle, it has a masculine touch to it that I love in a perfume. However my skin just pulls spiciness that smells rancid and I have to wash it off because it smells like pepper and plastic

Do not blind buy this!

gothika.427

Super similar to Mugler’s Angel!

xpetra82

i bought a pack of 10 samples for 2 euros (so 20ml)...and immediately that became my night out perfume! i have 2ml in every purse i own! So unique so seductive so compliment magnet ! longevity is not the best....but.....as i said....2 euros!!!! i thought that i should buy some more of that cheap samples as long as the offer exists ....but i will buy the bottle because is beautiful <3

louiee

Blind bought this based on notes and reviews.

I totally love it...it has a faint resemblance to Angel...but only a faint one.

Love the licorice, dewberry, red pepper blend...its fresh and sexy at the same time. The leather/amber base notes are perfect for the top notes. I cant pick up on any lotus notes.

Lasts forever on clothes 4-5 hours on skin. Silage is a perfect moderate.

Wonderful scent for a cheap price.

mapache

When I first sprayed this on.....I thought....oh....another "typical" scent.
However, after a full wear and letting this develop on my skin....I am very impressed with this fragrance.
I can see the TM Angel "vibes"...but this is not a clone/dupe.
I am still rather confused....picking out the notes....???....but in a good way.
I get touches of Angel edt....Lolita Lempinka original,and even a V&R Flowerbomb-ish vibe....if that makes any sense...lol
Half way decent sillage/longevity so far .
For the price you can get this for, I have to say, this is a great buy.

vanillaliebhaber

Unfortunately on me this pulls very leathery and animalic, it smells very masculine. I get none of the fruityness or vanilla :( Not for me.

Carlysfx1

Fatale Intense is beautiful, but in a very unconventional way. The Anjelica Huston of perfumes. On my skin it’s quite a linear fragrance, with the chili, leather, tobacco and vanilla coming out immediately. The notes would make you assume it’s a warm fragrance but it’s strangely almost cold. It’s Sexy, unique and incredibly elegant. Sillage is moderate, longevity is about 5 hours. This is one that I get a lot of compliments on, and many comments about how it’s “different”.

Madyana

This is not for me. Licorice and syrupy sweetness are reminiscent of molasses, fed to horses and cows, and it's combination on the leather smels like a licorice pork roast or broth to me.Uh.

cirkva_V

Fell in love with this.
Wish it would last longer on my skin, fades after one hour.

Mashaismary

I blind ordered this perfume after watching a few reviews on YouTube. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but so far I love it. Perfect winter scent. But i’m starting to get a feeling that it is mostly a skin scent. You have to get close to smell it after a few hours. But in times of Covid we spend most of our time at home, so you don’t need strong projection right now. Back to the smell. At first it’s harsh and spicy, probably because of that chili note. Thankfully it goes away quickly. Then I smell dewberry with some warmth from vanilla and amber. The dry down is mostly vanilla and amber with a slight jam like fruity touch. If somebody here doesn’t know what dewberry smells like think of wild blackberry or mulberry. Not the tart big ones that you get in the supermarket, it’s closer to the very sweet tiny ones that you find in the wild in South Europe.

ShoGirl

I like this very much: light spices, purple fruit, red roses and just the slightest note of licorice, a note that makes me go weak at the knees in a perfume, but, other than Kenzo L'Elephant, I've only noticed elsewhere in sugar-bomb supersweet perfumes I sorta like but get headachey with and feel way too old for. Fatale instead feels like a magic veil of confidence floating round me and a spray from first thing this morning is only getting richer this afternoon. This really doesn't smell like Angel on me; I absolutely adore it on others, but on me Angel is sickly and vile, I'm envious of others who can wear it but I can't, and I'm *very* pleased with Fatale, even if this fragrance was designed to be a dupe.

Deutsch100

Since I have never been without Mugler Angel edP since about 1994, I KNOW Angel ;) Out of my 50-60 scents in my fragrance library, Angel edP still is in my top 5 Favs. This perfume, to me, is just a cheap knock off of Angel. It smells good, since it smells almost identical to Angel ;)

Without offending anyone...I do not think anyone smells dewberry (since most have no idea what this smells like, LOL) and I do not smell any licorice (which is very prominent in say Lolita Lempicka). This AP Fatale Intense serves two purposes: A) Those who love Angel but cannot or do not want to pay for genuine Mugler Angel or B) Those who like Angel, but want something even shorter lasting & weaker than current Angel edP.

Speaking of long lasting....any current review of Mugler Angel edP (in the last few years) must be reviewing what used to be Angel edP. Since Clarins and now Loreal took over...where 1 spray of vintage Angel would last 12 hours; now many, many sprays are gone from skin and even clothes in less than 1-2 hours. Please do not believe any current review saying Angel is a room filler. Those days are LONG gone :(

Nikaa

I've been deciding for a while if I should blind buy this perfume and get the full bottle or just get a sample. I am very glad I ordered a sample.
This is the first ever perfume that has actually made me feel nauseous, never experienced that before. All I got from this perfume was chilli. Nothing but chilli.
Asked other people around me for opinion on it - 'It smells very cheap'. And I agree.
Had to wash it off, was excited to try it, expected more.

JessLH27

Wow this one really blew me away! I get juicy red berries, vanilla and musk, with a tiny hint of licorice which is quite subtle. It smells SO much more expensive than it is and doesn't have a synthetic feel at all. I got this for an amazing price in the Notino sale - only just over £12 for 30ml delivered (the 100ml was only about £5 more so a much better deal but I just don't have the room for more large bottles!). I had the original Agent Provacateur Fatale which is quite different altogether and potentially has better longevity and sillage than this one on me (a surprise), but this flanker is just so gorgeous I can't stop smelling it. I've seen a few comparisons to Angel, I personally don't like Angel massively and don't smell much similarity here, but everyone is different. Super sexy and sultry and worth a go if you like this vibe of perfume. The bottle is also to die for and looks so pretty.

Natabeth

SO similar to Angel when first applied (my nana used to wear it). A little medicinal too to begin with.
That stage lasts for around 30 minutes, then it settles into a smooth licorice with some bitter red berries to stop it getting too sweet.
The patch in Angel has a rather menthol-like scent, to me, however this fragrance doesn’t have that. I find this much warmer and wearable than Angel but that’s just on me.

Very, very nice for the price. If you like Angel, this is a really decent substitute. Great stuff!

Mariviv

The first spray: dewbery licorice and vanilla, also the liquorice is there to stay. Soon is accompanied by the pepper and a present hint of the muskus/amber /leather, also the dewberry is there. Then with the drydown the vanilla comes up more, but:also the musky wooden scent. They are mingled together so it is more meant for grown women. Vanille isnt sweet not gourmand, it is more the candylike end of the sniff, a sublye hint of warmness only noticeable when paid attention to. Overall on my skin the Dewberry and the leather x musk /patchouli 1kind of wooden segment of the pyramid- are mainly in control.
Mind you : this js on my skin! And it is also very easy (acceptable/not weird) on my boyfriends skin.. It is certainly NOT meant for young girls skin!! And wear this with fur or leather - also DO YOUR MAKEUP. I know this sometimes has to be stated bc ppl underestimate the power of a perfume.
A scent is >50% of your total appearance amd you could fuck this up very easily!
It stays vanilla ish and also fruity for red awret berries but the animalic muskus/ amber scent is there along the entire journey. Be a classic lady, and maybe top/mingle it with a strong powdery/Rose scent you already have.

egetoerikaget

Elsee

This scent is near perfect! It smells Christmassy and elegant. It resembles Muse somewhat but it has a personality all of its own! You must try this! Perfect for the holidays.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!!

Siani320

I was going back and forth as to whether or not to purchase this because I’m not a huge fan of licorice - at all. But my god, upon first spray all the notes marry together so beautifully. Yes the licorice is there, but the dewberry adds a different dimension to it. In the dry down the vanilla becomes very prominent and adds a beautiful layer of creaminess to the scent. Honestly, with the price point - I say take the risk and experience it for yourself.

Zana1970

Ohh my gosh what a delight, so good..nevermind that it last only 4 hours on the skin, but it will project the full 4 hours, you can put it on your hair and clothes, and than it will take a longer time, for that price, I have no regrets, I can spray again!

wanadib.yusofislam

I used to own Queen by Queen Latifah and Fatale Intense smells a lot like but wayyy less intense. It’s like a flanker for Queen which was more boozy, sweet spicy and gourmand. I blind bought Fatale Intense expecting it to be so much more but i’m a lil disappointed. It still smells great by the way. i get the spiciness and warmth and the fresh sweetness but only for 1-2 hours. Weak projection. Good for those who don’t want to be loudly noticeable. This is my review after almost 3 hours wearing it. I need to give it a few more wears because i really wanna love it.

Update:
I doused 8-10 sprays of it instead of the regular 4-6 sprays, now i get the hype. It smells a lot like angel but a lil warmer. What a true delight.

sria

Addictive sexy - I got it yesterday les than 20 dollars. This is worth so much more than what I paid

maria1106

Definitely a unique fragrance for cold days and nights. The smell is just a bit sweet, but most velvety and deep, spicy and delicious. Every time i wear this one i discover something more, another note.. So interesting and unique indeed..

PinkRainbow

This scent is bright and intense like bottled vanilla sunshine! The slight bitterness of the chili pepper gives it balance, and all and all, it is very unique. Although the beautiful bottle looks like something akin to evening, to me this is a soft daytime spicy scent perfect for an autumn afternoon. Longevity is good. Silage is decent. I have just used up my sample, and am going for a full bottle!

lorihollie

Just got a bottle. Unfortunately this smells almost exactly (I would say 90 %) like the 2019 EDT version of Angel, just less potent. Unfortunately because I already own Angel, lol! People that say this has nothing to do with Angel hasn’t smelled the EDT version. My biggest disappointment with this fragrance is that you can’t smell the leather note.

echurch1979

This perfume gives me a bit of a giggle. Look at the Perfume Pyramid - just look at it! Ramona Quimby took a shot at perfumery! It's wild; it's madness; it's counter-intuitive -- and it works! Each layer of notes plays well together, but visually shouldn't get along with the other strata. And this is where my mind shakes; they enhance each other in such a way, as to make the original compounds smell like something different than what they are. Take a second there. Lord knows, I needed to. I'll explain: Licorice, Dewberry and chili pepper are the top notes, and if you really concentrate, you'll get each note; but put with the heart of Champaca, rose and lotus, the combination smells of a deep cherry, bright raspberry and even chocolate. It is crazy fun, like winning the 5th golden ticket! Vanilla, leather and amber compose the base; but set against the mid-notes, there is a freshness similar to mint and spiciness like mahogany and leather. It has been such a thrill discovering each transformation! The dry down does not disappoint either - it's like being left wearing powdered sugar - praline and cherry blossom. Despite the Wonka-like surprises, it is a very approachable, sexy, scent. I've heard talk that this makes a decent dupe for Mugler's Angel, but until that company makes his perfume more affordable to us common folk, I may never know. I almost want to say it is the daylight scent to Dark Cherry and Amber's sultry night seduction. An interlude of constant nuance variations and absolutely affordable prices make this perfume distinctively delightful! No matter what evolution you discover, disappointment won't be ranked among them.

Nadia_998

It is a very beautiful scent I love it, but doesn't project and the longevity is very bad too after you spray it like 10 min you would not be able to smell it.

n_bogi

One of my BEST perfumes ever. Perfect for the winter, very unique. I can smell the leather, but it is still very warm, sweet but not too much sweet. Simply AMAZING. Very long lasting. The licorice is the strongest one in this.

Morbid85

This is a very unique scent. Something that I will remember. Its giving me some kind of middle eastern type of perfume. The first few minutes of spray is quite strong, it gives me a warm spicy vanilla, I really love the dry down of this as the very sweet amber is getting strong, I also notice the leather which is blended perfectly. I did not get any floral notes on my clothes or my skin but its no big deal because i think that this is already a masterpiece . It's not for everyday use though .. You need to be in mood to use it, I will wear this mostly in the evening party, events, date night.

Sillage on the skin is moderate but very durable if you spray on clothes.

Good for winter or cold weather only, it can choke someone on a sunny day summer :)

Astroditz

Like most of you, this was a blind buy on Demi’s recommendation. At 15£ for 100ml I said, why the hell not! I didn’t know what to expect tbh and I was afraid of the licorice which I detest but it’s fine. I get a hint of leather, vanilla and amber certainly. Not much of the florals listed, nor the dewberry, perhaps only slightly. To me it’s a sweet, warm, spicy powdered vanilla so I do enjoy it! It’s not super strong, so to me it would be appropriate for both day and nighttime wear during the colder months. I think this would be a great choice to wear during Christmas time because it’s really cozy! Not sexy to me more like a big family dinner at Christmas, with a fireplace and twinkling lights, laughing with a drink in hand. It’s cozy and reminds me of my moms friend, who was very nice and gave the best hugs.
I see people getting mad about the comparisons to Mugler Angel but I have to agree! I do like angel but cannot wear it because it’s just to cloying. It’s mostly similar in the opening and drys down much much softer and more bearable to my nose. The silage is pretty weak so don’t fear overspraying, in fact for the price point, indulge yourself! I’m relived I’m not totally offended by this and thankful my chemistry doesn’t dislike it either. In dry down it’s powdery spiced vanilla, slightly musky. I think I’ll get a lot of use out of it in the coming colder months! Definitely my pick for Christmas this year! If you have other spiced vanillas don’t bother purchasing. If you’re just beginning your interest in fragrances like me I’d say it’s a nice addition, a great cheapy fo sure! I’m happy to have this cozy vanilla in my collection.

Janeskii

Unique Smell! Strong Projection, Average Longevity. Good addition to my collection.

irca.spurna

Woman, this is the bed, the secret date, the Mr. Vampire-seducing, the me-time imaginations scent. Do not smell it, just spray it on you three times and experience it as the afternoon turns into a night.

VelvetTrance

This fragrance, for me, embodies the magic of perfume. Going by the note breakdown alone, I should hate this. For one thing I really dislike licorice. AND YET, blended together, this is the most beautiful fragrance I've ever experienced. There is some unique and bewitching alchemy at work here! I can tell you too this would not be for everyone and that only adds to the appeal. It's not an entirely "safe" scent but good lord it's beautiful.

I get great longevity from this too. And the bottle is absolutely gorgeous! It blows my mind that you can get a fragrance like this so cheap. My number one fave, 10/10

Chanel de Lanvin

Many perfumes are alike, you have to be honest to recognize it, and this because it is often the same materials that are used, and of course in different ways, that is why many perfumes are accepted in the crowd, and when a designer in make a different ... it's hard because this, because that.
Intense provocation looks like Angel, however nuanced in another way, so it's no coincidence that many of us compare him to him.
I wear it with pleasure in cold weather, its outfit is honest but of course not in the nuclear wake than Angel, and I admit that it is not worse.
If in addition Angel has been reformulated,so much to have fun with this one.

SapphireSun

The bottle is so beautiful and a stunning deep crimson red. I wish people would stop comparing it to Angel it seems on here 99.9% of perfumes get compared to angel, why? It's not angel and even if it does share some notes, thousands of other perfumes share the same notes. Every perfume is a unique creation that can be copied but never exactly completely replicated cus of the measured notes etc.. This I absolutely love and after reading so many negative reviews I knew it was going to be good, many of my fav perfumes have got negative reviews so I trust my insight besides very few perfumes I've ever disliked I either like, love or completely adore all perfumes. But this one is up on my fav list. Its spicy, and sweet and delicious, smells so much more expensive than it is. I do get a chocolate smell despite absent chocolate note. I recognise the leather note as I have another perfume with leather in, else I wouldn't have noticed the smell. I was put off for months but I found this in tkmaax for a steal so I just couldn't resist. Best buy and I'd defo repurchase.... I highly recommend this and if you are put off from all the negative reviews at least try a tester of it. ❤❤❤😘

Chanel de Lanvin

I own this scent, although it is not revolutionary it is nice for me to compare it to Angel that I do not have but that I have smelled on other people.
Less commercial too, he has his qualities, the outfit is perhaps not like Angel, some of the ingredients that compose it do not resemble him but his aura is there.
Mugler partums are not for me too big a public, you can smell them in the metro and the aisles of department stores.
There is nothing intense about this Fatal, just a little more personality.

Millicake88

Everyone here experienced something different when it comes to this perfume lol 😆 so I just had to try it for myself. 1 spray and wow that's spicy. Tons of licorice, something very herbal green plus the sweetness from blackberry no tart.
Once it dries on skin it's calmed down. It's quite pleasant. The fruit is gone, I'm getting floral banana sweetness from champeca, bright amber and licorice is still here and so is that green patchouli/fig leaf note but they're smoother. It's fresher, less synthetic and less vanilla than Angel by Theirry M. IMO also not as potent and aggressive. I didn't get any leather note...sux...I like powdery leather notes.
Everyone's body chemistry is different. F.I wears on me fresh/spicy aromatic vibes of Florabotanic...which I prefer over Angel's gourmand sugar bomb.

Strong start but does not last 🤷 3hr gone. Projection moderate. My Eternity Intense is lasting longer on my other wrist lol.

lilioka

I'll probably get downvoted, but this one just doesn't work for me. I mostly like the APs made by Christian Provenzano, the other ones smell cheapish to me, and Intense Fatale is no exception. I can smell the "intense", but there's absolutely no "fatale" in it to my nose. It takes me back to the ex-Soviet 90s, possibly it has notes in common with some cheap deodorants of the times, or something, not quite sure. It is intense indeed, but it's as "fatale" as a cheap stripper. There's something vulgar in it for me, and the intensity of it only makes it much worse. Sorry.
Definitely test before buying.

ShannonIk

This is a very odd experience for me; and, I don't seem to be having the experience that others are having with this scent.

The opening smells like brown sugar and molasses. It is quite syrupy, to the point of being cloying. As it dries down, the sweetness subdues, and I get some of the pepper. It's like opening a new container of smoked paprika. But, that's kind of where it stays. I'm not getting any floral notes with this one. And, I'm also not getting any licorice - which is fairly unusual for me.

I truly hate giving up on a fragrance. But, this one just isn't for me.

Victoria58

This is an absolute bargain for the price! So unique, expensive-smelling and delicious. It's like a rich, fruity, chili chocolate to me, although I don't see chocolate in the notes. Dies down into a warm vanilla. I was trying it before bed and could still smell it in the morning, so it's also long-lasting.

Recommended for a party or night out, might be a bit much for the office!

ky4r4

This is for an alpha woman! Spicy, with a hint of masculinity, openly against the gourmand trend of last years. I see this on a badass woman wearing a leather jacket and/or on a boss lady with an unusual job (no office). Performances are on average but fine considering the price.

JolieSucre

This is everything I always wanted Angel by Mugler to be, but far better, warmer and more expensive feeling. I love sweet bombs but could never wear Angel because of its strong, pungent opening note that just stayed on and kept reeking. Thanks to Demi Rawling for mentioning this, it is indeed the absolute best of my most recent purchases.

I don't know what the Angel opening note is, but to me, it always felt like a loud kick in the nostrils, a minty-plasticky- patchouly whatevery smell I just could not deal with, even if I loved the undertones and the overall caramelized sugar aroma of that perfume.

This one is 100% that, minus the reek. Spray it on, wait a few minutes, let the patchouli dissipate, and enjoy. Basically delicious, expertly caramelized fragrant sugar with a hint of expensive vanilla. Lovely and beautifully concocted, hats off to AP for this one. FI is creamy, warm, and reminds me of Rihanna Reb'l Fleur vibe, in a way- just the 'approach' of the composition, not the scent. This is nothing like that one, thankfully.

If you like how Angel smells but find it 'too much', give this one a try. Totally worth it, as a far better (more wearable) and much cheaper dupe.
One important aspect- this does not last at all on me. It's ridiculous how little it survives on my skin, I sprayed it when going out for a small errand and less than an hour later I couldn't smell it at all. Not sure if it doesn't last on others either, or if it's just me.

EDIT: I see many reviewers comparing the dry down of this one with Pink Sugar. They are both sweet perfumes but this is more aromatic while PS is 99% burnt sugar that dries down as vanillated sugar and nothing else. FI dries down into a powdery, creamy and slightly musky rich caramel.

LawmaLlama

I bought this as a cheap, let's see, blind buy. I was pleasantly surprised. At first, I was confused. It seemed too strong and completely out of my wheelhouse. Then it became my first true beloved leather fragrance. The opening is intense, but the dry down is just hot and sexy. It is strong, with both longevity and projection. I love it!

grapefruit352

This perfume reminds me Cacharel "Amor Amor" with notes of berries, but much heavier version of it, its darker berries and licorice+ heavier base, quite a masculine after all. Typically I always like vanilla perfumes, but here vanilla is not dominant.
Edit: By the way, now it is colder season and I have started to use it again and...it has opened quite nicely and I even enjoy it finally! So, I am not gonna judge this perfume heavily anymore! Its just requires the right time of the season!

frangiris

I was pleasantly surprised with Fatale, as to me it is a cheap fragrance which smells a lot more expensive and sophisticated. I hoped Fatale Intense would be similarly good, but it turned out way too sweet, in a heavy, cloying manner. It is not flowery sweet but rather syrupy and it made me feel a bit ill. I donated it - hopefully it suits someone else better!

nurism96

another bad blind buy of mine... i got it because of Demi Rawling's videos of it. We kinda have the same taste so i decided to give it a try. Bad decision. I should have paid attention to the similarities reported with Angel by Mugler, which i totally hate. Indeed, this smells very very similar to Angel, so if you don't like Angel don't even dare to try this one 😂 it has some differences though: i get a very spicy note in here that i never found in angel. The licorice is very prominent too. It is like a "light" version of angel. So if you do like angel but think it's too strong for you this one might be a better choice.

jinixx

I bought this based off of recommendations by Demi Rawling on youtube. I've had this for about a year now so I can really comment on it.

At first spray, I get a lot of the leather note and the spices and the sweetness isn't very prominent.

I mostly wear it to bed now due to the warm spicy notes, it almost has a masculine touch.

Not my favourite but for the price, it's a great scent for anyone who loves more of a masculine leathery scent.

bintTapputi

Really beautiful, what I hope for with a licorice fragrance. It's fruity, sweet, a tiny bit spicy... Honestly I love it. I love it even more because you can get it for under $30. Really a steal! Sexy, simple, a bit musky, I can't stop returning to my wrist -lovely!! 8/10

I had my doubts about this fragrance. I was a bit nervous blind buying it, but because of its price I felt that it wouldn’t be a great loss. Well let me tell you, never underestimate the underdog! Fatale Intense is one of the most sensual and sexy scents that I own. It beats the high price one’s in sensuality I can tell you that. I don’t know if it’s the chili, or the dewberry - but this is an aphrodisiac. Perfect for winter date-nights or if you’re just feeling yourself!

Lesson learned, never underestimate the underdog!

Angeldaisy

well, this certainly is a bit of a sticky confection. Certainly an oriental, but where are the florals? I was suspecting something with Lolita Lempicka or indeed Angel DNA, as a few of us have picked up on. Not really.

Upon opening, I do get the resemblance to Angel for a few moments. in fact it smelt like pineapple Angel. the pineapple continued for a while and then linear sweet stickiness. This fragrance is nice and lasts a good few hours. but I could barely detect the florals, if at all and not the rose. I am afraid the liquorice eludes my nose too, so too the raspberry. in fact if I were to draw up my own list of notes:
pineapple, sweet patchouli, vanilla confection similar to a Caramac candy bar. Mostly linear scent that has little complexity, but is not unpleasant to wear. I have gifted my bottle to my 9 year old for her collection, as the bottle is "fairy palace" and she finds the fragrance "spicey sweet".

Nataliemarie

I love this! I agree, I do not get licorice & I guess what they are calling Chili Pepper gives it a masculine twist? I also do not think this smells like Angel. If you mixed LVEB, or Flowerbomb, w/ a black leather accord..that is exactly what I get. Anyone can wear anything..I def think this is so sweet, it leans feminine, but, a could def see a guy wearing this that likes sweet fragrances. Nice!

I blind bought this based on Youtube reviews, and it's not my cup of tea. My first impression is that it's spicy, soft, plasticky, and not as sweet as I would like. Surprisingly, I don't smell the licorice. This does not smell like Angel at all, so I'm surprised they're being compared. Angel is extremely stand out and unique, however in this perfume, no note really stands out to me, and this scent is not unique or a head turner in my opinion. It all blurs together into something "Blah" for me. As a sexy perfume, I prefer something like Hypnotic Poison. Sorry if I offend, but smelling this makes me think of sleazy, gaudy, tacky and cheap lingerie. At least on my skin. I really wanted to like this, but it doesn't do anything for me. The bottle is stunning though, but I don't think it's worth the hype. I wouldn't recommend blind buying, but also it can be found for a very affordable price and it's not something that smells bad per se. Not sure if I'll wear this - it all depends if my husband thinks it smells good haha.

Melodiarose82

Hi beautiful gals and handsome gents, if you're on here. It's perf review time! Hehe. And this gal.... wow, she truly develops on my skin! It's so much fun to experience! She starts off sooo rich in a butterscotch scent. Not the butterscotch candies. In no way confectionery sugar. On my skin, Fatale Intense is pure butterscotch. Dripping and oozing authentic just made butterscotch and not with cheap ingredients either. Picture walking into a bakery with a highly acclaimed award winning baker, handing you a spoonful of her freshly made butterscotch syrup to try, and picture this bakery in France or somewhere where everything is made with the best quality ingredients! Decadent and savory.

Then the cayenne pepper kicks in.. and this is one spicy lady. No sweetness. Hot spice, a total pepper in your mouth! After awhile, it turns vanilla on my skin. At the end it's powdery, like the original Agent Provocateur. But the thing is, this perfume doesn't just evolve on my skin in one sitting. I discover new qualities each time I spray her on.... I didn't experience the cayenne the first few sprays!

I just love how this develops. It's amazing! It's a tease. That butterscotch is divine.. and then the cayenne stays long enough for me to miss that deep deep jewel toned sweetness... a sweetness that's deep, I mean deep. Not fluffy, but rich. And then she comes back! Then she goes away and turns into something different. It's a ride. So much fun.

P.s. At first, I didn't get the Angel comparison at all. But at times during the stages of this perfume, I get a sense of it a little. But let me tell you, this one is in a league of its own and in comparison, to my memory and nose, there is no comparison. This fragrance is a million and one times better! But so many people still wear Angel, I can't even stomach the scent of it anymore.

If you wear this, I can assure you, you won't smell like everyone else. Unique and addicting and might I say, intoxicating too! Drunk on the decadence of your own yummy lovely skin. Plus, the cayenne pepper. What other perfume has that?? It's different... And I happen to be a cayenne pepper fanatic, I put it on everything I eat. So, it's truly befitting.

EDIT: after I wrote this review, I never sprayed the bottle again! She's packed away somewhere. After reading my review though, I'm intrigued by my own words. Why did I never reach for this again? It sounds so nice! Haha fickle, flittery, personality, I guess...

livelovelaugh0810

it's kind of sharp when u first spray it.
i blind bought this and I was expecting more of a red berry syrupy sweet with like a twist of licorice and a kick of pepper maybe. I don't think it's really sweet, but when i smell it from different angles, i really get the licorice in a good way and kind of the dewberry. To me, it just smells a lot more like a spicy leather and a pang of the licorice note. when i say pang, it's legit like. it goes up ur nose and kinda rings in there if that makes sense. it's honestly for really confident, night out, bold girls, so not someone who's looking for something low key. Also before buying this i really wanted to be able to argue it doesn't smell like angel but honestly it really does. so i want to put it out there what ur imagining if ur considering a blind buy, its probably not it so go smell angel and just imagine something along the lines of that.

dishcooper2

As a big fan of the original Agent Provocateur, this was a blind buy big disappointment for me. Firstly as seemed so weak and more like a spritz than an eau de parfum.
Not that I did not like it ... just it seemed so very faint and what I could smell, I did not really rate any more than pleasant and a little synthetic.
Love the big bold original but this is a timid mouse in comparison.
I got it brand new from a reputable perfume firm so am presuming this is the real deal but just seems so watered down.
Will be looking for a new home for this.

KennedyH

This scent sits really close to the skin. When it opens you get this syrupy berry note that is nice and sweet. That quickly fades away and you are left with the deep licorice note. The licorice is not super off-putting but it makes the scent really unique. Nothing I know smells quite like this. I wear this more to bed as it does not last super long at all.

CurlyTabby

This perfume shocked the hell out of me. I blind bought this and immediately thought it was going to be a blind buy regret. Leather and licorice? CHILI PEPPER?? Oh no... I sprayed it, closed my eyes and hoped it wouldn’t be too awful....

Guys... this stuff is crazy good. This is sexy, femme fatale, dangerous woman. You would think from the notes that this would be a disaster. But it’s not!! It’s SO GOOD. This is my new go to night out scent. If Angel and Pink Sugar are bubbly, girly and fun younger sisters, Fatale Intense is the badass, rebel, older sister.

Leather jacket, thigh high boots and tight jeans. Honey, this stuff is lethal.

arlufkin

Angel clone.

ladyofthebrook

I’m not sure how I feel about this one. I think it’s a really good perfume, but I’m not positive whether or not it suits me personally. It’s definitely unique and smells more expensive than it is. The licorice root is really strong on my skin, however. The result is a heavy smoky sort of licorice, with maybe a hint of spice and sweetness. I wish I got more of the vanilla and chili on my skin and a little less of the licorice, but if you’re a big fan of that note or want a perfume where the vanilla sweetness is toned down, then this could be for you.

Hello_kieren

To me, it smells like a lot of super sweet lollies inside an expensive leather handbag. I'm unsure how I feel about it, I think the leather is a bit too much.

olga.olga

This perfume is an overly complex surprise, the notes are well distingushed, fistly i got a hit of blueberry, then the main accord is lotus and rose/vanilla and it has a very sophisticated drydown of smoky wood, a hint of leather and spices. It's a perfume with strong personality, sweet, but not nasueating, quite mature and modern at the same time.

Zackkcaz

Lovely start; kind of like angel without any kick. Drys down fast to a pungent Clean baby Diaper smell. The powdery diaper stink lasts for hours :(.

CrazyRussianChick

You guys have no idea how sad this makes me feel realizing the time between I learned about this perfume and the time I got it... I didn’t expect much from it. It was like “Ok, they say it’s good, maybe I should try it”... You absolutely should! The minute you read about how good it is - go get it! It’s over 3 hours since I applied it, and it’s just out there, smelling awesome. Sweet, and soft, and warm, and sexy (yep, on me, sexy). Leather is not too strong on me, it’s overall something very vanilla-berry-ish, I had to double check the notes... Freaking love it!

MooreBeans

This was a total blind buy....ZERO REGRETS!! I’m in love with this affordable warm spicy leathery fragrance!! On my skin, the leather is very prevalent, but I love it!! Paired with a nice leather skirt, bodysuit, and heels, smelling like leather....I’ll definitely turn heads in this fragrance.

Seaworthy

I am loving this one! I enjoy watching the Youtube videos "Notes from Josephine" and she loves this one so much that I had to give it a try. I am so happy that I did! To her it seems to resemble a York Peppermint Patty but I don't really get that, it's more floral than that to me although as it dries down I do faintly get a bit of chocolate note in there that is not listed in the fragrance profile. The first spray is pure bliss, sharp chili and then some floral and patchouli which I love. As it dries these notes dominate and are joined by the chocolate (which may be the licorice) and on dry down the leather makes an appearance. Glorious! Thanks for the recommendation Josephine!

Linnealicia

If you love vanilla/gourmands and like a tiny bit of spice in it - I believe this to be a potential safe blind by! I blind bought it myself and I really enjoy the scent. It is not at all as crazy as the notes make it seem. Overall a syrupy, kinda sweet vanilla/gourmand with a bit of an edge to it.

Longevity is so-so, but it's cheap enough to overspray/reapply and it has pretty good projection! I clearly smell myself when I wear this one :)

I would put this in a similar category as Pink Sugar and Angel MUSE. Not a dupe, but similar vibes.

Nijntje

Blind buy. Love the warm-sweet-spicy opening, it makes me so happy! It's not too sweet though, just right. But then after 15 minutes Fatale Intense dries down into this drab powdery dirty vanilla. I've figured out that I don't like vanilla in fragrances, I barely tolerate it. There's a LOT to tolerate in this scent. Pity, I love everything else about it. The vanilla makes it too sweet and cloying to be sexy.

If you're a fan of vanilla scents, it can't hurt to try this one. Mine was 10 euro's for 30ml.

peonies and musk

Layers gorgeously with Pink Sugar!

Avian

Fatale Intense is interesting! Though it definitely has elements of Mugler Angel and Queen Latifah Queen combined, it's more than just a mix of the two. The chili pepper is noticeable and does indeed smell like a juicy and fresh pepper. There is a dry and slightly rough patchouli that reminds me of Angel, but it lacks the muskiness of Angel. I do smell some of the same melon and fresh fruits of Angel too. The majority of the rest of Fatale Intense is a fresh spray of Queen Latifah, with prominant boozy vanilla and white amber. I have no idea where these smells come from, as the notes are dissimilar.

Overall- if you like super sweet almost-orientals like Angel and Queen, you'll like Fatale Intense. If you like interesting notes, like the chili, you'll like it too. An interesting combination of scents that smells pleasant and unique!

Scentflower

Huh, not sure about this one. Heard lots of reviews on this saying how great it is. I've been liking spicy perfumes lately and was excited get this. Its really strong with the licorice, kinda sharp. When I smell it the amber is trying to come in and mellow out the licorice. The licorice stays strong and pushes it back down. In the background theres touches of sweetness. The smell kinda reminds me of the dashboard cleaner for your car mixed with a sweet background. I don't think this is my cup of tea but because it's so original I don't want to get rid of it.

olliesmom

This is a sweet warm and spicy perfume. It is heavy and projecting, and pleasant smelling with sharp liquorice wafting once a while. I wear this to bed during cold weather, I wear it when i am feeling spicy and confrontational.

The only spicy one in my perfume collection. When i wear this, people around me knows better to leave me alone. I love that my perfume regulates my emotion

Pinyae

@stardust808 "Not sure if anyone else mentioned this as I’m just too tired to look, but this is Pink Sugar."

You're not alone with the association to Pink Sugar.

I felt like it could be sort of an adult version of Pink Sugar, with some Angel and an on and off reminders of pieces from Black Opium. Like some others, I too thought there's patchouli.

I don't hate it at all and even with the similarities I find, I think it's in a way unique or different. Still, I barely ever wear it and something in it keeps bothering me.
I don't find it particularly sexy either, even if rather adult fragrance. It's also one of flattest perfumes I've ever smelt.

Great price though for something a little odd or different like this :)

sarage

I am glad I trusted some You Tube perfumistas (Demi Rawlings, Josephine etc) when they praised this scent.

Fatale Intense is really a warm, rich oriental floral fragrance. The smell is very familiar, and I don't know Angel or Queen Latifah, but it reminds me of LR Harem that I used to wear in the 90s.

I am glad the liquorice note is not too strong, it blends well with everything else. I think leather is the masculine note that sort of brings the scent down to earth and forms a strong base. The notes are definitely different than in any other fragrance I have. I think I smell also patchouli, but it's not mentioned. Maybe the combination of some other notes produces a similar smell.

I love the spicy drydown of Fatale Intense.

This is a cold season scent but I think it might smell fabulous in the evening in warm weather, too.

The bottle is gorgeous.

Nyrahe

Yes, it is very similar to Angel, they are almost identical besides the opening, that is much sweeter. I think i can smell cinammon there even tho it is not listed. Someone here said it smells like a Christmas and it is true, it smells like very sweet cinnamon tea with cloves and honey. We had a tea like that, it's name was "Magic moments". So Fatale Intense and Angel has some differences but they are overally very very similar to my nose. So if you love Angel and want something cheaper definitely try this one. I paid only 12€ for 50ml (For real).

876Beauty

No idea what Angel smells so no comments on that. This fragrance is however a sultry, spicy gourmand that men seems to love. I wear it at nights as a date night fragrance. It's sweet without being cloying. My favorite night fragrance so far. In the notes I mostly smell the Amber, Licorice and the vanilla. It doesn't last as long as I'd want it to but it's good for the price.

Bollen

This was a blindbuy and I am so confused. This smells like a heavy patchouli gourmand. But there is no patchouli in it?! It is similar to both Wish from Chopard and Angel by Mugler but not as sweet.

Not disappointed at all, was just a bit surprised.
The bottle looked better IRL than in pictures.

mevans

Right away you get the almost masculine leather, spicy and woody notes but they don't take over. It's also sweet from both berries and vanilla. This combination makes it a very sexy evening fragrance. The floral is there but in the background. This is one you can walk in a room confident that no one else is probably wearing it. It's inexpensive, I got my 100ml for $20, but not widely available or common to smell on other people so it has a bit of a niche quality for not a lot of money. In terms of performance, it has decent sillage but not so much longevity. It's undetectable after about 4-6 hours. I always keep performance issues in perspective with price and so it's not a deal breaker for the price I paid. You can bring a small decant with you to reapply if you're out for the evening. This is very worth a try if you're into edgy, unique fragrances.

ajjava

Wow, this is nearly identical to Angel, about an hour or so after application. Which is funny to me, since patch isn't even listed in the ingredients.
I like it...less of that urine smell found in Angel (I do like Angel but it definitely does have urine undertones).

madiidii25

It reminds me of Rihanna Rebl’l Fleur but maybe a little bit sweeter and softer .
If you like Rihannas perfume then i bet there is a chance u like this one.
Chili note is really great in here, gives this sweet but edgy feel.

lollipopsneeze

Such a beautiful, smokey, and spicy scent! I've never owned a perfume with chili in the notes, and it's very fun to wear this one. It's perfect for cold and rainy days, and seems to warm and wake up my senses. I hate to compare this to Angel, because even those who aren't Angel fans might like this a lot. I smell a lot of red berries and it reminds me of drinking Spanish style hot cocoa under the stars at night with a bonfire.

lnoskin

I just received this in a swap. When I first sprayed it I was not a fan. To me, it smelled like a strong, old lady version of angel. But..... just 10 minutes later I smelled my wrist again and it was a beautiful leathery woody vanilla. I'm excited to spray this on me when I go out to confirm I truly like it and can get past the (imo) horrible opening.

Shelacious

In short, it's a cross between Rhianna's Rouge and Queen Latifiah's Queen. If you like either of these (I do, but not my favorite notes), get this for a good price at a discounter like Marshalls. Another poster mentioned it was similar to Ellen Tracy's Love Notes, and I can smell the similarity to that fragrance too. It's not a bad fragrance, just similar to a few others.

northstar

Hmm...almost like a fruity Black Cashmere. No real comparison, BC is so much superior, but I say that because the (much less) amber, vanilla, rose, chili pepper bring it into that zone minus the fruit. Less rounded spice and less amber but a softly peppered fragrance. Worn with something a bit more deeply spicy (licorice? cinnamon?) or woody I might like the combo and similar to BC this for me would be good in cool weather on a sweater. Still, more spice or patch or soft wood would be better for me and I will try a layer. Also Fatale Intense has a powder scent to it that makes it softer. I like it and the bottle is very pretty on my dresser. Fatale Intense is also better, imo, than Fatale, which I have in the smaller bottle and is too floral for me with less sillage and really isn't the same as this at all.

africanabrit

Wow! I bought this for the licorice note. I'm also an Amber and tonka bean fan as well. This reminds me of lolita lempicka in the apple shaped bottle. The original formula. I'm so pleased! It doesn't seem to change from that on my skin either.

I'd say this is an evening scent. You could day wear it if your a woman with a strong personality who makes her own rules up 😁

Longevity is average, I got 5hrs from this, but I did receive compliments so others should smell this on you.

adrienn99

I think this is a lot closer to Queen Latifah 's Queen which I used to have than Angel.
Much softer than the aforementioned tho, which is a good thing in my book, and smells more natural if you know what I mean, it's sexy but it does not scream ...Now, Angel is too harsh to me and never got the nicer notes , just the chemical soup, and with this one I can enjoy the patch, the spices , vanilla nicely agreeing with my skin.
yay!

kasey_skywalker

I’m testing a sample of this tonight. I figured why not. It smells just like Angel and Black Opium Intense (the newer blue one) had a baby. If I had to say, it really just smells like a spicier version of Black Opium Intense. That berry and licorice note is very reminiscent of that perfume. The chili pepper and amber make this a very red warm version of that, though. I don’t think you’d need both in one collection, but this is an affordable alternative!

stardust808

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this as I’m just too tired to look, but this is Pink Sugar. That’s all I get on my skin. Nothing else. I already own that and grew tired of it so I’m disappointed with this blind buy.
I think this did not pass go and went directly to the base notes. All vanilla. This smells almost like a vanilla oil that comes as a rollerball. Very linear so far. I would’ve loved the berry, pepper, and leather 😑
Edit: Thinking about this it’s actually as if I layered Pink Sugar and Gold Sugar because it has the creaminess of GS.

nuruluyungoktavia

I can't compare with Angel Mugler but if I already smell it, I will update this review.
This perfume remind me with adult woman which has strong characters, little flirtious, naughty but sweet and pamper.

Pro's:
- I noticed dewberry, followed by chilli scent and flowers. Then the chilli scent mixed with leather scent and vanilla. And after 15 minutes-30 minutes, all scents blended and created the great smell. So unique and sexy
- Longevity is in my skin literally good, and when I swatched on my clothes, I dunno why this perfume has different scent. More flowery and fruity. And if swatched in my skin, this perfume more warm and sweet.
- Sillage of this perfume is so so, not too enormous and not too soft. But, probably your workmate will smell it
- This perfume probably fit for occasionally, night events or dinner and evening meeting.

Con's:
- Too pricey. It's about 100 bucks. But if I should spend 100 bucks for this perfume, I will use it rarely.
- About the chilli scent, actually I was little bothered for first time even finally, this scent blended well with others scents
-This perfume so rare and difficult to get in my country. So I should buy abroad

diamond74

I just smelled this at Marshalls. Smells just like Angel without the b.o!! The bottle is beautiful and smells way more expensive than it is. 1 oz for $9.99. I think I may have to go back and pick this up.....

tessiebee

I just really like this perfume. There are higher quality, more niche samples in my collection but this is one I return to again and again. It's similar to a lot of scents (angel, the only one 2, in love with you), nothing outstanding but it's warm, spicy, fun and flirty rather than intense. The chilli pepper adds a nice zing. I'm an Oriental Floral fan overall, and this is exactly in my wheelhouse. Plus it's pretty darn cheap so spritz away!

I should add, this is not sweet on me. I'm a sourpuss, so sweet things lose their edge, aromatics go very bitter. YMMV, but at this price point it's worth a blind buy

natluvly

Ok so I picked this up at Tjmaxx yesterday on a blind buy. They had the original fatale, fatale pink, and fatale intense.

I hadn't smelled any of them but they were so cheap I had to at least give one a try. This one piqued my interst the most so I got it.

So, when I got in the car after purchasing it I couldn't smell anything from the sprayer so I sprayed it on a napkin. It's summer right now so the notes were a bit potent but I smelled some freshness also. Still hadn't sprayed it on me yet. Ok so today again I sprayed it on a tissue and tried to figure it out, I kept getting whiffs from the napkin I sprayed it on while I was napping but with the summer heat I wasn't sure. Ok so a few moments ago I finally sprayed it on myself and I think I dig it.

The reason I chose this one is because I knew it was in that fruitchuli category and I have really been wanting a scent like that but one that worked on me. Those types of scents tend to turn kind of dirty on me and I just don't feel fresh wearing them which is something I look for in most of my scents. I read reviews saying it smelled like Queen by queen latifah and that scared me because I really liked that one but found myself never wearing it. It was too heavy or too something.

So when spraying this one on I feel like this could be the fruitchuli (even though there's no patchouli) but this could be the one, that's that type of scent, that actually works on me. It's like Queen but so much fresher not so thick. Maybe it's that pepper note saving it. Ok I really think I'm happy yayyy. I keep getting whiffs and it's yummy. I got the 1.7 for $12.99 btw at Tjmaxx. I hope it doesn't develop into that dirty vibe but so far it seems good and it's really surprisingly smooth not sharp or screechy. Considering the price this might be a love. I will update.

Albiretu

This is sweet, syrupy, somewhat evocative of Angel, but lighter. It’s very warm, sexy, and flirty. It’s the second time I see dewberry in a perfume, the first being Heat Seduction by Beyoncé, which I unfortunately hated..I can see a woman in her late 20s or 30s wearing this on a night out, it’s sexy but not too serious or dark.

pipergirl

This is all syrupy, sweet, red berries, vanilla and leather. I don't get any licorice at all which is good because I don't care for licorice in perfumes. I definitely get the comparison to Queen Latifah but the leather in Fatale Intense sets this one apart. To me this is a cool weather, going out, dancing at the club sort of scent. Decent projection and longevity. Great one to have for the fall.

Seducianne

Angel+1. Toned down a little.

minizelda

Red berries and Angel (The Étoiles des Rêves version). Smooth, not crisp. I imagine this scent exactly the same ruby red they used for that bottle.

sandifitzg

Reminds me of Queen Latifah....even the bottle is similar. Since I adore Queen Latifah I also love this one. Vanilla, liquorice, sandalwood and some sweet floral or fruity note. Really lovely. It doesn't have any high notes but more of a low frequency hum. I used 8 sprays. Sillage is arms length and it projects for a couple of hours and then becomes a skin scent that lasts hours.

Bigsly

For me, the licorice never lets up and it dominates. Now that can be a bad thing, but here it's a smooth/soft licorice with a touch of sweetness, and I find it quite pleasant. I didn't get chili pepper and instead of anything leathery it seemed a touch woody, with perhaps a bit of patchouli. Also, I don't see why men wouldn't want to try this, as it's more or less unisex. It lasted well with two full sprays and the projection was at least good. Overall, an excellent fragrance at current prices, but not like typical "feminine" scents.

UPDATE: After several hours it seemed like a touch of something chocoately was present, but the licorice was still stronger.

Holli

The chili pepper makes this a very smoky berry! Wow. Very dark. Very spicy in a sharp way. A scrubber for me. I'd compare it to Ultraviolet more than Angel. Like a dark version of Ultraviolet.

shelley2633

Smells like Angel I agree. Love it.

dilqna

This perfume is nice . It reminds me a lot of Rihanna Rebelle . It is definitely a sexy fragrance Smells like chocolate & patchouli on my skin. There’s something dirty and masculine about it .

DulciusExAsperis

Stunned that patchouli is not listed in the notes because I agree with the below reviewer that this is reminiscent of Angel.

however for me it's not that the berries are amped up,it's that there's a salty/buttery note on top of everything, and this is not nearly as loud/in-your-face as Angel.

oddly, the drydown turns less sweet and Angel-like and becomes a bit "cleaner" - not soapy exactly but definitely clean.

This is nice but it's definitely not unique, I'm a little surprised to see it come from the AP house.

aspirina

Very weird scent!First blast is very "vegetable" like, maybe it is the red pimento note? honestly unpleasant to my nose. After a few minutes licorice and red fruits, finally a gourmand note starts to develop and becomes a coffee-cacao scent, very yummy!Longevity and sillage have been poor on my skin. Just 2 hours. Similar to Angel but way more friendly.

yankihan.1

I have a collection of 30+ bottles and I have to say, my taste has a very wide range. Only this particular one bottle really has a disturbing sweet. I used it once and needed to give it away.

I like sweet normally - Elie Saab Le Parfum Intense EDP; Shalimar (Strong stuff!); Terracotta EDT; but all of these were just elegantly sweet which feels wonderful. Except this one.

If you like the perfumes (listed in my profile) - stay away. Not for you.

The other Agents Provocaeteur EDP (pink eggy)does not have this problem, much nicer.

Blingmad

This perfume seemed right up my street ,all the reviews promised a strong warm sexy fragrance. I ordered a bottle from fragrance direct and was I dissapointed ,after the first waft of hay it smells of nothing..fd have offered to refund me as I tnhink its a fake .

gorjess

i was on the hunt for another perfume when i stumbled upon this one. i spritzed this on my left wrist along with the other perfume on the right. and on my way home i unknowingly kept sniffing my left wrist and thinking “wow that smells so good i need to buy this!” and abandoned another perfume that i supposed to buy lol

to me, it is such sweet and creamy vanilla fragrance with a dark berries and nice spice. it is on my skin somehow smells just like chanel coco mademoiselle! i didnt realized that at first but when i met my friend she thought i was wearing chanel coco mademoiselle! so do my boyfriend! well i think im lucky i dont have to buy another coco in near future lol

Nataliemarie

NIIIICE! I get the comparisons to Angel. I like this better. Now, it's different than Sucre' tho! I get the Leather note very well done, first. The Ambery Chili spice, then the Cocoa. It was a blind buy from reading the comparisons to the Angels, yet talking about this Leather! YES! I love it! I have most all of the Angels. I like this gem better than any of them & I even have the leather one! It's a 10 from me :)

SailorV

I was eyeing Fatale Intense for some months when I finally found a bottle for cheap at TKmaxx and bought it. The notes sounded so good to me, but I found the scent a bit disappointing and not as exciting as I hoped it to be.
Strangely, I can detect most of the notes that got me interested, except for the leather that I can‘t find here at all. The dewberry is very present in the opening and I can also sense a hint of red chili to spice things up. Vanilla and licorice are the strongest of the listed notes, and I get an additional hint of patchouli and dark chocolate. Unfortunately, the fragrance just doesn‘t smell very well-blended or unique to me. It‘s really sweet, dark and sticky and misses some balance and finesse. It doesn‘t smell like Angel or A*Men to my nose, more like some cheap drugstore fragrance inspired by the famous Muglers. To be fair, I paid 13 € for it, so you could say it is exactly that and it does the job just fine.
In one sentence I’d call this a generic vanilla-patchouli-berry blend with a spicy undertone.

Now, I don‘t hate this fragrance at all, but I don‘t like it enough to keep and wear it. I have many gourmand-oriental fragrances that I‘d rather wear, so it‘s redundant for me. If you‘re on a budget and looking for something vaguely Angel-like, it‘s worth a try. I have to give credit that it‘s very long lasting.

Suprinsingly different in a very good way!!
A wonderful, fresh and bubbly scent at a bargade price.
Sparkling, fun and feminine.
Warrmth from the chili notes, sweetness from licorice and dewberry. Leather, amber and vanilla in The bottom.
This smells like youth, unicorns and rainbows. Count me in, in the looooove group.
Longevity is really long and projection i a little above average and perfect for me.
AMAZING !
Gratitude for this little masterpiece.

The leather and chili notes pair beautifully in this. It's sweet but not a gourmand - I'd say it's more of a spicy sweet fragrance. It makes me feel like a vixen who's prepared to lead men to their own demise. It'll make you feel empowered, in control, and sexy in the evenings.

MsKayJae

This is surprisingly enjoyable, the fruity chilli opening is great and settles into a warm cosy scent thanks to the champaca/leather/amber combination.
It's funny that everyone says this isn't for younger people. FI actually reminds me of my younger self - a little bit hippy/boho - scenting the house to cover up a recent indiscretion... alcohol and cigarettes people geez ;)

100ml of Sass

Syrupy sweet, a dash of spice with depth from the leather and the juiciness of the dewberry. An overall blend of mystery and sexy vibes. I blind bought this and wasn't disappointed!

trabuquera

Can't make up my mind about this one really. On the minus side: it's cheap and cloying, bringing the dreaded dewberry* back from the 90s, far too sweet, far too femme, and almost toppling into air-freshener/ fabric softener on me. First burst was almost repellent in its artificial aromacharge. Too fruity by far.
(* I live in the UK and Body Shop dewberry soap/scents were the smell of virtually my entire early 20s ... that stuff was absolutely everywhere, high and loud and piercing enough to be inescapable. For me it's now a don'tberry, in perfume at least - I've had enough of it and don't want any more.)

BUT On the positive side: A Provocateur Intense is really cheap, it has unexpected tinges of spice, the licorice and leather do add some more character, it's wearable (no hideous surprises or deliberately bizarre choices) and the sweetness is nuanced enough to be not-horrible. If you get the right whiff of burnt sugar every now and again it might even be considered very vaguely related to MFK BR540, though without the woodiness of that. So this one continues my bizarrely inconsistent history with the brand, as I LOVE smoky/tarty L'Agent, but hate the rest for excessive and slightly tacky femininity. I can see some immediate appeal to this one - especially at the tiny price - but it really is too cloying overall for me to want to wear. Still, much better than I'd thought at first. Worth a go if you like sweet, femme things and need a bargain. Personally I'm still on the fence. A very weak like, perhaps?

Instead of its silly name it might as well be called be called A*men pour Femme ;) Together with "Agent Provocateur (what Fragrantica calls) Menage a Trois" here is another AP fragrance to top my list of "perfume names you'd rather not say when asked" LOL

As for the fragrance, it is a delightful blast of liquorice goodness that can be had at a fraction of the price compared to the scents it has been compared to. So, nothing gobsmackingly innovative, but a cute bottle easy to handle. oh and now that I really really concentrate on it perhaps I can actually smell that dark red berry and the chilli, maybe I can! It's one of these scents that I can just put on without thinking too much about... it wears really round and pleasant. There is not much leather I can detect but I wouldn't mind trying to layer with a leather fragrance, such as Nabeel Macho Man or my Monotheme Leather. These tend to go well with sweet gourmandish vanilla and or berry fragrances.
Edit: I find myself reaching for this scent quite often... it is very rewarding, well composed and the drydown is delicious. Very glad I blind bought it.

As for the brand, this bears absolutely zero relation to AP's earlier offerings.... I haven't tested all of the new ones but it seems they are all geared towards a different target audience.

If you like this scent you should keep your eyes peeled in TK Maxx, it can be had at bargain prices.

Totally agree with Cohno (below): a replica of Angel Eau Sucree. Nice, sweet, warm frag.

Anyone gets the occasional whiff of burnt sugar towards and in the drydown? You can catch it when sprayed in the air. When I do get it, it's intoxicating. Wish there was more of it, but it isn't always there. Still, I love the sweetness of the middle notes and the vanilla of the drydown. My only complain is that it is too light on me (skin or clothes) and nothing less than six sprays really shows up. As a result, my bottle is finishing rather fast.

cohno

This is the exact twin of Angel Eau Sucreé(2017). Same intense scent that lasts forever on clothes, same personality.

Will test them both for a comparison.

For now I can only say that whoever created the combination first is a genius, I love it. The intense scent and the personality it creates around you when you wear it are phenomenal.

If you like a strong perfume and like anything sweet but mysterious, then you should definitely give it a try.

Re1na

Absolutely love it ! For such a low price very unusual and sexy well blended perfume with longeviy over 4 hours and moderate projection. I am going to get it and use it as a winter scent this year during day. .

Pet Ams

I used to love angel, angel just didn’t do my head any favors as it caused me to have slightly annoying headaches. Reading the reviews on this scent I took a chance and blind bought a bottle, risky I know but I do so love angel.... glad I took the chance! It’s so much like angel yet it’s not causing me any headaches. I havent checked which nite may have caused the headache, or what it is in Angel that causes the aches, at this moment I’m just psyched to have this lovely gourmet type of fragrance. I always think of chocolate when I smell it. On me it wears relatively close to the skin yet noticeable enough.

Christycaxxx

Sweet and spicy fruity scent that is sexy and fun for colder nights out that is perfect for date night when you want some close physical contact with your partner.. Projection good and longevity over 4 hours. The red bottle is very sexy and fun. Price is inexpensive and one of my successful blind buys.

I would think that I can make out some pimento, but the liquorice gets its way into the foreground. There is liquorice in the fragrance. I am actually reminded of "Au Masculin" by Lolita Lempicka, which may underline that this could theoretically be worn by everyone. I did not like the barbershop element in the before mentioned and because of this association, I thought initially that this was present here as well. I find liquorice to be a tricky component, as its refreshing and vegetable nature tends to wear itself out over time. I happened to first wear this on the eve of "All Hallows" by coincidence and interestingly it seems to fit to an atmosphere of masquerade. This is an interesting fragrance, but my impression is that it could do with more of an intriguing character. It is not the explosive and bold red that I was searching for. The bottle is rather nice, though be advised that the cap features some sharp edges. If you think about it, you might be able to make out a certain irony about that. It could also have been glued together better as there is a creaking present when interacting with the cap to access the atomiser.

Cherry_Darling

Great scent for price, very gourmand to my nose, sweet and rich. No licorice or leather to me. I am testing again to see if it is the headache inducing sweet, there is an overwhelming quality to it.

Testing 2: UM, yeah, no. Way too overpoweringly sweet, but in that plasticity, basic, cheap kind of way. I love sweet frags, but this is the kind that even I can't tolerate. It's like a knockoff Angel that is trying way too hard, you get what you pay for here unfortunately

adrienn99

it is pleasant and agreeable, nothing bizarre in here to me.
I was a bit wary to try this one due to liquorice which I find overwhelming in high concentrations. I went for it nonetheless (thanks for the sample Corkscrewcurly ;) ) because of the red chilli note.

based on reviews i was ready for fatale to kick me in the face when I sprayed - but then I was like... uhm... no drama at all. Bit meek if you ask me :D but again, my babe is Habanita and she puts all timid girls to shame haha

now, to me, the sweet notes, vanilla ,amber & champaca combined make up about half of the frag, while leather liquorice and chilli the other half. I don't sense fruits in here.

gtabasso

fruity in the top but then intense depth with patch and musk; at first like a Deep Euphoria or LPRN but then these lovely florals come in and some amber; this is just a beautiful blend
