Para quem ficou órfão de Azzaro Now Men, escolha Le Beau Paradise, que está somente um pouquinho mais doce que este. Vai a dica!

The fact that I have a bottle to even use im greatful. Such a masterpiece in terms of the freshie genre for the time. Wish azzaro didn't discontinue this gem!

woomanmoomin

People commenting on how good the litchi note is when it's actually lichen XD

pronose

A great fresh & spicy scent! Sadly has been discontinued by azzaro once again🤔a bit sad

Roman86

I had this one years ago in 2008 and remember really liking it. It was super bright, fresh and uplifting and not generic like the fresh scents nowadays. You used to be able to find it all the time at the discounters like Marshalls for dirt cheap. It's a shame Azzaro discontinued this one because I would love to have it in my collection again without overpaying for it.

The smell of the future, unfortunately production has stopped😢😢

@msajoy That’s interesting, but for me it’s similar to the Acqva flanker and not the Marine. Everyone’s nose is different but if that’s what you got, so be it! Discovered this similarity when revisiting Acqva within the past month. Smell same as first impression after it settles 30 mins..but I picked up that sweet sour fruity shampoo note this time in the beginning, which I think is the “Litchi” in this Azzaro Now. Not sure what it could be, in the Acqva except for the Tarragon or how it reacts with other notes. I don’t wear this often, but it’s nice after a shower or after a swim. I prefer the classics from Azzaro and certain Chrome flankers. Projection just right and longevity above average. Curious as to why the decant resembles a ladies shaving razor?! Lol

im surprised how no has mentioned this till now, this is identical to bvlgari aqva marine...amazing neroli, peppery deep sea quality fresh perfume....love the bottle design.very hard to find now,one of my dear brothers went through 5 bottles f it and he lent me his new bottle to review.
Azzaro you always have my money n respect :)

Follow me for a second... First things first I love this stuff. I was hesitant blind buying it because when I checked the pyramid there was a rose note in there and I hate rose in a mans cologne. Heres the thing though, it's so subtle you can barely pick it up, but it makes all the difference. The reviewer below me mentioned that it has a futuristic vibe, and I agree 100% with him. It does start off metallic, and then it almost turns a little sour smelling (most likely due to the tea and cardamom, but the magic happens in the mid and the dry down. I know this is going to sound crazy but there is almost a melon type of vibe going on. I'm going to assume that its because of the litchi and rose combination... Whatever it is it makes it work, and work very well. As far as I know this cologne is a little hard to find as well, and I bought it for 30$ for an 80Ml bottle. I would buy this again quite easily. It's a very unique scent that could in my opinion be a unisex scent because in the dry down it becomes so damn aromatic, but very subtle and not obnoxious. Azzaro hit a homer with this one, and it literally flew under the radar. I’d also like to add when my gf came home she said I smelled amazing and demanded to know what I was wearing. She is SUPER picky, almost to the point it’s annoying. She asked me to spray some on her, that speaks volumes. This is a solid 9/10 for me.

ProtonN

Contemporary fresh scent.

It is unique, a bit artsy
Starts with sharp metalic note mixed with rose and some green spice, gives a futuristic vibe (as the bottle).
Then mellows and mellows into a comforting, relaxing scent.

It is long lasting.

narjatiz

I like wearing it on hot weather

In 2007 Azzaro released Azzaro Now for Men. At that time I was 17 years old, and the only perfumes I've ever had were Versace Blue Jeans, Ralph Lauren Polo Sport & Dior Higher Energy (all of them were gifts).

I wanted to find a fragrance on my own, I had the urge to choose the way I would smell, so I went to the largest shopping mall in central Athens to browse the fragrance court.

There must have been adverts of Azzaro Now everywhere since it was released at that time, I have no recollection to be honest how I ended up with a bottle, but that strange looking bottle is hard to forget so I remember that it was the fragrance I chose.

Last week, I saw this in a vintage perfume store. I smiled because it was the first scent I chose for myself, but my memory of how it smelled or the appeal it had to me back then had completely vanished. My only memory was the "raindrop" bottle. I asked for a tester of this and sprayed it on my hand. One spray: a time capsule.

-------VROOOOOOOOMMMMMMM-----------

Just from the first sniff, I was embraced by a blanket of nostalgia, caressed by vivid memories and felt young and pure...

It was a smell I have completely forgotten that I have experienced before but by the time my nose and this Azzaro Now were reunited this fragrance revived in me that whole experience from the past. Such a rare feeling to be reminded of beauty that was once forgotten...

When you spray Azzaro Now, you get a cloud of cold and damp greenery, almost like a strong wind current blowing all the rain drops from green leaves towards you. The first freshness lasts a couple of minutes, and right after, the heart of the fragrance envelops, which is a metallic unique aroma: some facets of plastic nature, others watery (but not in a calone manner). It's the tea note paired with the violet that make the heart of this fragrance smell both refreshing, futuristic and unique. A contemporary masterpiece without being challenging or pretentious! The heart notes last for a while (6 hours on my skin) and then you are left with the base, which is a very soft and realistic white hued suede leather note... a marvelous finish. Delicate and seductive.

Bare in mind, the rose, the amber and the lichen are ghost notes in this one. If I was to describe it as an overall scent I would say that you get mostly green notes, a refreshing tea note and soft leather in the end.

Well, what else is there for me to say? Nothing smells like it, the creativity and vision is of a niche fragrance, even if it doesn't smell natural. Smelling synthetic and artificial is also a concept, and if it's done right then you have the absolute success of futuristic beauty.

Truly underrated, I am happy that Luca Turin agrees with me and gave it 4 stars in The A-Z Guide. Easy to wear in every occasion, unique with a capital U, great longevity for the style (7+hours) and soft but noticeable sillage. (you need to spray this on clothes for maximum results)

I'll stock up before all the remaining bottles disappear...

I'll finish this long review with the four words written on the box of Azzaro Now:

Magnetic. Fresh. Woody. Green.

almondbreakfast

Strangely, I like it..

socorrosouza

I like it very much, long lasting, fresh without being your typical citrusy scent, ideal for extreme hot summer days, has good sillage and can be used by both sexes, not too sweet. And original, there is no other scent quite like it.Perhaps because of its different features never got the wider audience that it richly deserves (in my own opinion and on my skin) . Although most people complain about the sameness of scents, when faced with a slightly different product people balk at the relative newness.

Fraggie2100

I didn't like it, glad I didnt buy as it was not as pleasing as the bottle ( The DILDO bottle )

sameh

Azzaro Now Men Azzaro for men is a nice average freg with affordable price & unique bottle design , good longevity & sillage.

R_M

As stated by a couple of other members, the correct note is LICHEN not LICHI. These two are completely different things.
I'm not sure why this keeps happening on this otherwise wonderful site. Bogart Silver Scent has the exact same error in the pyramid!

tige60

Here is the correct note pyramid (in English) as another member brought to our attention a few comments back:

Head Note: Cardamom, Rose Oxide, Frosted Metal

Heart Note: Violet Flower, Driftwood, Green Notes, Tea

Base Note: Amber Note, White Leather, Woody Notes, Lichen

I actually really do enjoy this fragrance in hot tropical weather as it shines wonderfully in such weather; whereas a lot of my other summer fragrances don't withstand the humidity & heat of the tropics. This is one of my go to frags while in the tropics.

alfrued

Very metallic not green on my skin
Like the smell after the first hour

saintlunaire

Please give the real pyramide !

Pyramide olfactive

Note de Tête : Cardamome, Oxyde de Rose, Métal Givré

Note de Coeur : Violette Fleur, Bois Flotté, Notes Vertes, Thé

Note de Fond : Note Ambrée, Cuir Blanc, Notes Boisées, Lichen

So modern and comfortable, nothing like it.
Lichen and floated wood on metal aldehydes, very original and difficult to classify. wonderful flacon .
Mineral and calming like a japanese garden, i love it.

mirul

refreshing fragrance~ so green smell like grass and leaves~ and a bit sweet. Very powdery on the drydown

2scents91

An OK scent IMO. Performs wonderfully in high heat. I have a love-hate relationship with this. When I first started testing this frag out, I found that I liked it on initial spray, hated it after a couple of minutes, and liked it again after a couple of hours.
There's an accord in it that reminds me of piss. (cat piss). The suede?
Anyhoo, my advice is; DO NOT BLIND BUY! May be challenging to wear. I've grown to like it more now though. Funny looking bottle too.

This fragrance is beyond description .
I wear it , smell myself .. smell myself again .. once more .. again ..
I simply enjoy each and every breath !
A lot of people don't know it , they keep asking me about it's name , I keep answering : " Extra classified " .. lol

ralopa

VERY UNIQUE ONE!
I have barely seen others similar to this one. This is so fresh, so clean, and long-lasting for 8+ hours, with 1x spray, at least on my skin.
If you are looking for fresh juicy with a green vibe for hot days especially for high-humuid ones, you cannot miss this shot.

Rating: 7.0/10. If it was less synthetic, I would rate it as 8.0

Forget Freeman

Tried a sample and must say I like it.
It's a fresh light scent and it performed well with me.

I would class as a spring/summer daytime scent, apply sparingly and it is perfect for the workplace, a couple ladies at my work actually approached me to ask what it was and took down the name.

There is a floral note in this that helps give off a calm approachable demeanor, it's masculine but relaxed and from my experience some girls seem to be quite fond of it.

I believe it is well made and very well priced for it's level of quality

Nice :)

I prefer Now man to woman. Azzaro retreat from China market. What a pity! This brand perfume is lovely, i mean for real perfume lover. For the first several minu, it smells cardamom spicy and street boy scent . Half an hour later, wow, it upgrade into very charming smell. Soothing, cooling, aromatic.Very green, some floral. This is for woman, i believe. Lasts 5-6 hours on me. If the opening cardamom replaced by lavender,it would be perfect to me. Worth trying!

kanak

I bought NOW purely based on Luca Turin's review of it and I have to admit it's pretty darn good. Not ground breaking or anything, just a good, nice modern masculine that hits all the right notes. What I get is mostly a Tea note surrounded by greens, some cardamom, and some woody notes in the dry down. This is a Tea frag as far as I am concerned. The opening is a little harsh and synthetic but then it settles down nicely. Projects well for the first hour or so and longevity is not the best, about 5 hours tops on me. It smells more like a stripped down Bvlgari frag than a typical Azzaro. I think this is an overlooked frag that works great in spring and summer and is available online at pretty cheap prices. Really worth a try. 7/10

Edit- This is one of those frags that fades from skin but seems to last longer on cloth. I can smell it on my clothes at the end of the day but it's gone from my skin in about 4-5 hours so if you have it. spray your shirt a couple of times to get extra mileage out of it.

Mr.Bobby.N

Such a GREAT smell, but so weak.

I have the underarm stick of this fragrance, and it's strong, lasts all day and smells fantastic! (It's my favorite stick).... so, I bought this EDT thinking it would have the same projection/strentgh. It doesn't.

The bottle is just ridiculous to me. It looks like a shaver, and it's impractical to store amongst your other fragrances. I'm all for fargrances being different, but this is just austentatious. In terms of the physical design, simplicity and practicality is what impresses me. This is odd.

Only the 'smell' itself is exceptional in this fragrance. It's such a subtle/weak scent as an EDT, but it smells really, really beautiful... I can't deny.

The underarm stick I'd rate a 10/10 because you notice the smell all day long and it projects well. The EDT i'd rate...

---------------------------------------------
SILLAGE: poor
LONGEVITY: moderate
SCENT: Tea/Rose/Litchi (so good)
BOTTLE: strange/impractical
PRICE: expensive (for what it is)

OVERALL: 7/10
---------------------------------------------

UPDATE: I've just discovered that the missing strength and projection of AZZARO NOW can be found in the dry-down of CERRUTI 1881. It's not exactly the same smell, but it's the same 'feel'.... also, don't be afraid of CERRUTI's opening. After an hour you'll smell the smoothness.

taskalizer

Green, metallic tea is all I get from this fragrance. I had a sample of it when it first came out in 2007, and I was instantly in love then. I bought myself a bottle in 2013 coz I just couldn't forget how big my love for it was (and I was 26 then, with a bit of an untrained nose) and I got a bit disappointed because of the overwhelming sharp metallic smell all over it. It smells of cheap materials too. It shares some qualities with Chrome (it's as well sharp, clean and metallic) but to me this one is more young and modern in a more playful way. It will stand out among the rest of scents on the market as not so many guys wear it or know it. Can be your signature scent? I'm not sure. For people who have never smelt it before it may come off a bit weird, since it instantly gives you a number of "contrasting" smells in your face that take you onto different directions (green on top of metal on top of some more flowers and some more citrus, which all keep interrupting each other). This tells you it's not that well made. Buy/Try/Pass? I think somewhere between Try and Pass.

Fabio Dondeo

Delicious, green, fresh, clean, exotic (despite apparently simple), with a sharp note typical from azzaro fragrances. Ideal for cardamom lovers and tea lovers. It would be an excellent option for tropical summer days, however its longevity during hot days is short (2-4 hours) for an azarro perfume . To 'increase' longevity, an alternative may be using Now at warm nights. Since my wife adores it, this is a good reason to use Now when going out at night.

Sam37

me no like.

flaneur

i totally agree with carlos05. very synthetic.

CARLOS05

I bought this blind and my god what a silly mistake, this edt is one of the cheapest smelling things I have ever smelt.

Stay away from this, I sold mine straight away.

Lance

Love it! This is the only one from Azzaro that has uniqueness IMO! Fresh, green, aquatic, exactly what Im looking for summer! And litchi must be the star of this. Very elegant!
But doesnt last long as well, that's a shame.

Pierina

A blind buy for the husband based on reviews here. It opens very nicely but has no longevity.
The green notes, tea and rose combine nicely.
I really feel this fragrance has no staying power and finishes quite soapy. I was rather dissappointed.
I tried the Now for women in the store (there wasnt one for men) and liked the open but also found a weak finish there.. I should have anticipated that they may be similar in longevity.. oh well.
Oh yeah ~ What Amber?

alfarom

I've to say I'm a bit disappointed with Now Men as I expected something more edgy and daring. The opening is incredibly conventional and banal. Citrus plus an acquatic feel that's pretty cheap. In the drydown it gets a little better with an interesting mix of (syntetic) woods, but still nothing that really catches my interest. Unnecessary.

its amazing i love it since ive tried it in the store. its smells like grass and green and green again. when i smell it i imagine something fresh summary like a big green valley. i bought this but it doesnt last long on my skin .

Papi

The best Azzaro fragrance ever. Simply, fresh cucumbers.

Summer, summer, summer ONLY!

Amazing : my husband used the men version and it was perfect, very sensual and attractive. I used the women version and it was really bad on my skin : I tried and I tried because I like the idea to have the same perfume as my husband. But it was too strange or too spicy or too woody : I don't know how to define it, but I really felt it was not for me. Only for my husband...Good lasting.

himankr

I like it.
Its very fresh. And the first time I wore it, everyone asked me what am I wearing?

Will get you noticed, surely!

gypsy parfumista

This scent reminds me of a Tori Amos song (Bouncing off Clouds) where she says: "Wrapped in meatal, wrapped in ivy, painted in mint ice cream..."

nattonline

I always like the scent of litchi. It is like my own catnip, and it is actually rare to find it in men fragrances. Azzaro Now for Men has the litchi note and it works wonderfully here. Without a doubt, this Azzaro is refreshing and uplifting. Litchi gives it a fruity floral aroma but it doesn't appear feminine here, but yes, it is green and light. It's not trying to make a bold statement but a soft clean impression. I can actually detct litchi throughout the scent but more obvious at the end.
I ain't gonna say that I recommend this for everybody. It's a pleasing fragrance but part of me want to keep this scent very low profile because I wanna be the only few people who wear it and it's also a way to keep the price from jacking up!

FYI, there is a similarity between this and Lacoste Essential. Only that Azzaro Now is more fruity and less green: comparing to the Lacoste.

Deetron

Just got it today. It is a very nice clean smell. The rose and the litchi notes are great and extraordinary . They give something special to that perfume. At first I wasn’t so exited, but soon AZZARO NOW turned itself into a modern, complex, woody scent. The silage is very good, and the lasting power is excellent – maybe more the 6-7 hours on my skin. Great summer choice.

cowboykenny27

I love this fragrance from Azzaro . Its a very linear fragrance (it smells the same throughout on your skin )

I like this in my fragrances . This is an amazing fragrance - very fresh and clean in an 'airy light' sort of way

I can smell the Rose and lichen in it - Everyone always says how nice it smells in the office when I wear this one so it must be okay :) I personally Love it !

loveperfumes

After reading Luca Turin's rapt review on that I've tried and realised what's all about. Deliciously fresh, breath-takingly naturally clean, smth dancing in the air, divinely sexy with angel's dust feeling. It's a very open scent to me, reveals very natural self like let's say Trussardi Essenza Del Tiempo, though they are different. Imagine mature Creed's Himalaya in early youth... I like that fresh modern a bit metallic aesthetics in general. 'Now' is unoffensive but not suitable for serious office surroundings in my opinion, as lacks weight, depth, status and protection, but seems truly worthy of romantic heights. A good scent for falling in love. And I think, it's more sensual than Now for women.

ezdravkova

absolutely mesmerizing.. I wear it myself..
for me this is a metallic scent.. no such group, I know.. but it still reminds me of metal shavings :))

vin570

Extremely sharp, not my type. I think its problem is the rose note. But it has undeniable quality and lasts very long.

ahnafuz

einfach super, very nice perfume

This fragrance is beyond description .

I simply enjoy each and every breath !

urobian

i agree, this is simply underrated.. cute and unique, some strange fruity is there mixed with a soft spicy-fresh base.. sillage and longevity is more than ok. manly, versatile and very original.

Auguszta

This is a brilliant and sadly, a totally underrated men's scent. To me it smells like pencil shavings with a metallic edge on a sharp bed of vetiver. It's rather original and very, very pleasant. It's a high-quality scent with decent sillage and great longevity. I'm surprised how few men actually wear this!

Vader_GR

It' s an excellent fragrance with great longevity...and it is something different making a way out of the common stuff...the scent is quite intense so be careful of overspraying...

deox

When i asked for it, even the perfume boy in the shop mumbled "this one would be somewhat...challenging", after first smell it lost the challange. It is really sharp and reminds me thyme.

Giv1952

the rose and lichen notes is so exciting. Love this fragrance so much.
Azzaro is the best fragrance house for men

Pez_Enelrio

its one of the worst perfumes ive ever smelled, ususally i like the different mens fragrances but this one is so sour and sharp and strong... i really dont like this one, either the women

tuky

very good! romantic.. , sexy, seductive. I like it !
