Coca-Cola-ing dizzy sour vanilla winks at Hermes = kiss me intense. Especially these days many vanilla based fragrances smells like VS bare vanilla, yves rocher vanilla on everyone to my nose. My shy opinion is there is no way to wear a vanilla by being different. Even nishane ani vanilla does not smell unusual to me. But I find kiss me intense different. There are shalimars poemes or creamy airy woody vanillas... but this is neither them.
Yeah, I agree that there is something offputting at the top that seems to be coming from spices. But this is cool in outdoors in winter autumn and cold spring 🧡👽 I really liked everything about this scent.

Frogette

Immediately reminded me of L.T. Piver's Heliotrope Blanc with slightly more complexity and better sillage. Feminine and gourmand. Leans younger, more feminine.

rasteria

Very realistic ylang ylang scent with some almond and vanilla. At first it almost smelled like tuberose. Not very complex, but creamy and cheerful. Too indolic for me. Turned almost aquatic…🤔

I love this fragrance. Wore it yesterday and it still is in my hair and lightly wafting off of me this morning. Obviously its longevity is excellent. I get florals and definitely the yellow florals. It’s so nice and soft on my skin. Can be worn by anyone and you will get noticed because I got a compliment in Kohls yesterday! At first spray you do get the anise in here but it settles nicely in the drydown and becomes vanillic and floral. This isn’t a gourmand fragrance just slight touches of vanilla. Heliotrope gives it the rounded smoothness which I love. It does give off a slight makeupy vibe, which comes from the almond and heliotrope mixing on your skin.

Do I recommend, YES! If you want a beautiful vanilla floral with a hint of spiciness! 10/10

Bordo

Wow, this is exactly what I was searching for months!!! Love at first sniff 😍
Hard to describe how beautiful it is, but I will try.
To me it mostly smells like some delicious gourmand concoction of real Italian zabaione (egg cream) ice cream, fresh bananas or maybe banoffee pie (can't decide), rum raisin ice cream. At the same time as being gourmand it is not so "in your face" food. One could say there are some florals, but they are not bothering me here (not the case with sine other gourmay + floral fragrances) all is blended very nicely, so if anything, florals just beautifully support.
The main reason why it is so amazing is that it smells delicious, but I can't quite put a finger on specific notes. Okay, there is vanilla. But anything else - it is not so obvious. Also, I love that the scent dies not change much throughout the wear.
Only con is that it is not that intense. But the issue maybe is the fact that I've got a small amount on the bottom of the bottle (no more than 10 ml), so maybe it's a bit old and that is impacting the performance a bit. Still, for the scent alone, it is with it! :)

Xela_529

I absolutely adore this perfume. To me it smells like hot, sensual, s*x! Forgive me. Lol

I must admit, the opening is very animalic and pissy. But after about 5 min it goes away. That being said, I can see how this wouldn’t be for everyone. You definitely need to like almond notes to appreciate this.

Meganliliane

Way spicier than I was expecting! I expected honey and floral based on the comments but really all I get is a complex cinnamon. Not to say that as a bad thing, just not what I expected.

This was suggested to me as an "astrology" pick from Lucky Scent and I thought why not. I was a little worried about anise as a top note but I don't detect that at all. As it's drying down I'm liking it more and more but this is definitely a fall, night time cozy scent. It is quite intense as the name suggests, I would not suggest this for an office scent nor a blind buy per the other reviews, everyone is smelling something different. I could see it causing a headache for some but so far I enjoy it as a decant.

onebadbaby

I really expected to love this-it's sweet, almond, vanilla and some florals. However, there is something off about it and I'm not sure what. If the notes weren't listed I d say it had a melon note (which is always disgusting to me in a fragrance), but it doesn't seem to.

dcjimr

When they say "intense," they mean intense. Still going strong after 9 hours. An incredibly strong floral. This recalls a scent memory of being in a funeral home when I was a kid surrounded by floral bouquets. Beautiful for what it is, but it makes me a bit nauseated.

Kristen_Marie183

Smells like champaca flower to me, indolic. Still good but not at all what I was expecting.

asjkfbs653

This smells like going to the sauna in Austria, a mix of warm wood, herbs and infusions.

Goddardjenniferb

As soon as applied all I got was the scent of flat root beer. By the time the perfume was applied the scent was no longer there. I thought I smelled almond but was gone to fast to tell.

Anniefrgrtc

Immediately dig out my Diamond Jubilee (Grossmith) sample after smelling this. Kiss me intense is 70% less powdery, a younger, more modern, easier-to-wear version of Diamond Jubilee.
Sweet, nutty, vanilla and flowers, a great perfume for a cozy day.

Dina France

Do you know delicious shower gels by COTTAGE? This perfume smells like "Banana Shake" and this deliciousness of creamy, yet still a bit green (not fully ripe) bananas is created by a mix of heliotrope and almonds. These two notes dominate while vanilla, orange blossom and opoponax make a great base. Other notes are hardly identifiable unless you read the description before you try the fragrance.

This is really lovely! Initially I was confused by the name "Intense" as I find it a rather soft fragrance by nature, but my mom gave strong compliments as it apparently radiated off me. Personally I found this to lean on the floral side, just slightly. It makes me think of being in a hotel lobby, everything reminds me of hotels, with either a beautiful fresh flower arrangement or a garden emanating inside, intermingling with a bakery not too far away. My mom however seems to find it purely gourmand, reading it as a very high end chocolate shop. We are both almond fans and neither of us found the note too apparent. More akin to almond extract being snuck into a dessert along with vanilla than just extract smelled plainly. I could say the same for the anise component. "Well-blended" may be an overused term in reviews, but it really is the case here; every note melds into each other and is complimentary. I do get the minty quality and personally quite like it. Not enough to call it a true note as much as it gives the impression of talking to someone who had an after-dinner buttermint within the last fifteen minutes. This smells pretty natural and is easy to reach for in the morning, unlike so many scents that I otherwise enjoy but just do not have the stomach for before noon. At this point I find the prices for this whole line to be very reasonable, better than most anything designer. My only complaint is that longevity is a pretty meh fourish hours for me, otherwise Kiss Me Intense comes highly recommended.

ugly_sara_turns_it_hard

Smells like candy! If it had a colour it would be pink. The name is spot on (well… except for the intense part, I’d say it’s quite intimate), this is the kind of sweet flirty bubbly scent that just makes you happy! It doesn’t smell at all cheap or sickly sweet either, a quality flirty comfort scent. I think that this is what Elle Woods would smell like. 🍭💖

Silverquick

Gorgeous and comforting yet also alert and a bit playful. I woke in the middle of the night (sick pet wanting attention) and couldn’t settle - it’s Sunday and there’s no rush so a 5am latte with extra fluffy milk and some Kiss Me Intense are required. I feel more settled and the gorgeous fluffy, marzipane/orange/musky goodness smells wonderful. It’s late autumn almost winter I have fresh sheets and a warm and fluffy feather duvet. This is perfect. The scent cocoons and holds. I also feel this will work so well when I’m back in the office, but don’t want to be.

TheSweaterGirl

Kiss Me Intense is a floral bubblegum cola to me. I sampled this for the almond note. Sadly I get no almond or nuttiness of any kind.

The softness of the spicy notes is what I think contributes to that cola vibe I am picking up. Overall this is soft, sweet (but not overly or overwhelmingly so) and a slightly gourmand floral. Feminine and summery. No almond to my nose. Not at all my style, but a nice light scent. Sample before you buy.

minamartin

For some reason i get the same scent when i open my Sacrebleu test vial. Overly sweet something with a hint of minty something. No for me.

Mouse011

Awesome everyday spring summer fragrance, which can put smile on my face everytime i smell it.
The beautines of almond and helioptrope shine really high and most important, it's very well balanced, never goes oversweet.
Airy, fluffy, soft powdery, aquatic and overall heavenly good and really pleasant.
Smells like thousands of sincere kisses at the same time.

Excelent work Mrs. Patricia!

Lindsalot

was lucky enough to stop by Nicolaï Parfumeur in Paris and picked this scent up rather unexpectedly -- I thought I wanted a winter scenet, but came out with this thoroughly springy one instead! Heliotrope dominates the scent at first, along with an intensely sweet bubblegum-esque note. At first it was off putting, but then it develops a really nice almond note (that I'm a total sucker for) with a sparkling vanilla tinge after. Throughout the day a pleasing spiciness comes through. This to me is a kiss of sunshine, blooming bouquet scent. Definitely try it in person or get a sample and give it a chance to develop past it's super sweet opening!

Celestya

More for fall and winter, I can smell Heliotrope, Almond and vanilla. Heliotrope is the star of the perfume. Feminine and delicate, a powdery scent. I don't understand the suntan lotion vibe of some comments (banana, why not). Dont blind buy.

Sarah E.S

Kiss Me Intense marries together two of my favourite genres; the powdery, heliotrope/almond genre and the buttery, suntan lotion-like summer florals. These two are mediated by the noticeable warm spiciness of clove, cinnamon and opoponax which certainly enhance the sophistication and sensuality of what could otherwise be considered a slightly childish scent.

Each spray is a fluffy cloud of pure joy and irresistible beauty to my nose!

Adam's Oud

Nice juicy and creamy floral with gourmand like nuances. Ylang-ylang and heliotrope giving a banana like vibe that is... interesting.

Very sweet mixture so avoid it if you are not in to sweet scents.

Spices balance the creamy florals nicely. Just a touch but enough to be worn by a man... if one doesn't mind banana vibes.

Base is soft and refined... vanilla, musk and touch of myrrh making it a bit oriental.

Good stuff!

applejack78

Kiss Me Intense smells like an almond/ylang-ylang bubblegum! It's sweet, fruity, and reminiscent of some kind of creamy tropical dessert. If you're a gourmand fragrance lover, please give this a try. I got a sample from Luckyscent before I bought a full bottle.

Scentedalterego

Love the opening of semi-sweet Marzipan. Then something slightly minty and somewhat animalic comes through. I suspect the aniseed & opoponax combination, although I normally like opoponax. It makes it unique, but also keeps me from loving it. I prefer my (vintage) Hypnotic Poison by far for an almond dominant scent. Definitely not blind buy safe.

PowderViolet

Literally all I smell is artificial banana. Not at all something that says "Kiss Me."

fanntonyoscar

The initial spray is everything I hoped it would be - but the dry down is completely floral. For those of us who avoid florals at all costs, it’s a no-go. It’s sweet, juicy honeysuckle with an unparalleled performance. However, I’m a gourmand fragrancier, so it’s just not for me.

AnlisaC

In my eyes or nose this is a gourmand floral. I get both! They mix well and I really like this fragrance for the price, I got the 1oz bottle from Luckyscent (my love for over 10 years). This is very sweet bubblegummy ylang ylang which comes out on my skin. I wore this to bed last night and I can still smell it on me this afternoon at 11 am. Wow that longevity for sure. Sillage is also very good. Going to put this on today and see if I receive compliments LOL.

Ok so generally a great fragrance and I blind bought this so it was a win win. I knew by the notes I would like it almond, anise and ylang ylang.

Annabear

Carnation flavoured bubble gum, no lipstick vibes here.
Average projection and longevity, but somehow the whole thing is addictive and alluring and makes you want to keep wearing it.

JuneBug_89

Cozy, warm fragrance perfect for Valentine’s Day.
‘Kiss Me’ is the perfect name for it!

katrinawhitney

I got a dabber sample of this and came to look at the reviews, because I thought I may be crazy, all I could smell is bubblegum! Looks like I’m not crazy, and this indeed smells of some spices and bubblegum. I actually really like it. I don’t think I’d ever need a full bottle, but a decant would definitely be nice.

supersaiyan

Reminds me of so many things, all listed in past reviews: artificial doughy cherry/marzipan cake, flat root beer, licorice candy, lots of clove and anise, banana lipstick, the list goes on. You feel like a princess in candyland wearing this, complete with the pastel pink dress and candycane stockings. Not a lot at first sniff, but definitely grew on me, if only it was more affordable!

LanaDP86

I would love this if they didn't put the anise/clove note in the fragrance. The rest of the notes are my cup of tea!

Babesabe1

I get buttery rich ylang-ylang with some soft cinnamon and vanilla upon first applying, The dry down softens and becomes soft orange blossom, almond, and candied lemon peel. Sexy and almost lipsticky. I Don't know why I get lipstick scent because iris isn't included in the notes. But I smell sweet lipstick.

Edit*- Kiss me intense reminds me of Maison Margiela Lipstick On. Not that they smell like, but I get a sweet lipstick from KMI just like LO. Makes sense because Lipstick On has a lot of Heliotrope, Tonka, and orange blossom. The Ylang note in KMI makes it unique. It took a note from summer and included it in a sweet warm fragrance to be worn in cooler weather. Takes the wearer back to days on the beach wearing suntan lotion. Just a whiff to remind you that the seasons will change eventually and summer will be back again. I think this is a perfect Fall fragrance.

kl99

This smell like a supersugary cherry cake. Really disturbing. Overdose of sweets note. Overboard scent.

tessture

Banana, tropical floral and vanilla. The banana goes away after awhile, leaving a lovely light vanilla floral with a tropical feel. I rather like it, but it's very odd to get banana when I was hoping for aniseed and almond!

kumquat2

Gorgeous! On me smells like a sugar cookie with lots of cinnamon. Vanilla, Heliotrope and cinnamon are the main notes I get and the cinnamon is the most noticeable. Lasts a long time and I can smell it in a lovely sweet and spicy haze around me for houurs. I love it!

marymag

Almost blind bought this, but I’m glad I didn’t. Almond and heliotrope are two of my favorite notes in perfumes, so I had to try this. But unfortunately all I smell on my skin is root beer hard candy. Not a terrible smell, but also not what I was expecting. Still, an interesting sweet light smell.

drouhin

A sweet gourmand that even people who insist they hate sweet gourmands -- like me -- may love. Simultaneously bright but dainty and soft, it fits a sunny spring day perfectly.

A plate of homemade sugar cookies with lemon and anise, slightly browned around the edge but soft in the middle. (My mother made cookies like this, and the perfume reminded me immediately of them.) Maybe there's a teacup of chai with almond milk nearby. Sweet, but not at all overpowering, with a richness and depth implying the presence of at least some natural materials.

btw, I'm pretty quick to complain about Iso E abuse, but to my nose, this perfume is not an offender.

dsty

I got a sample of Kiss Me Intense by chance and I was pleased, because looking at the list of notes it looked like I might like it quite a lot, but it turns out this is one of those fragrances where the list of notes is accurate, but at the same time useless when it comes to shaping expectations. I have to agree with other reviewers on this page: it might be ylang-ylang and heliotrope and almonds and vanilla I'm smelling here, but the way they are combined translates more to banana. More precisely, above all this scent makes me think of bananas growing in a hot and humid jungle somewhere; in the foreground is that banana-like combination of sweet notes, but the base is suprisingly green, albeit the spicy kind of green, and with a feverish kind of warmth to it. Definitely original, and worth a try if you like the scent of bananas, but I don't - so I'll leave this sample behind without regrets.

Pixiedust2

Finally got my hands on this to try, and I'm happy I didn't blind buy a full bottle. This is an ISO E Super bomb on me. It's all I can smell. I don't get any Heliotrope (which is a favorite and what I was hoping for). It's raining today, so maybe it's affecting my nose. I'll give this another try on a clear day. I can appreciate tiny amounts of ISO E, but I'm getting pretty tired by how many fragrances seem to use it as a crutch. Will update if this changes on a sunny day.

Kots_Tanya

This too intense in anise and cloves, I can also smell heliotrope but I don’t like it at all. It’s like bananas marinaded in cloves and anise.

giakerr

The opening really does smell like bananas, or some type of banana sweet (not really a natural banana though). The middle stage of this, which I really love, is heliotrope, cinnamon & cloves. But mostly a really pretty heliotrope which is not dominated by the spices. When it dries down I have trouble distinguishing what the notes are, but I primarily smell a grassy hay-like aroma. “Kiss me tender” lists fresh hay as a component, so maybe it is also in this?
I do like that this smells very different from what I was expecting from a vanilla-almond-heliotrope scent. I like the middle, but the opening and drydown are not for me.

jujucherry

This smells like banana bubblegum🤩 it's going in the same direction of velvet vanille by Mancera i love them both so much

stacia79

I was a little worried about this one because sniffing from the sample vial it seemed so medicinal... bitter almond and anise in abundance. Wearing it on my skin however, helped the other notes to come out and play. Lots of powdery heliotrope, sweet vanilla and hints of smoky earthy opoponax. Does not come across like a typical gourmand, as it is not overly foody. More of a beautiful rendition of heliotrope. Sillage stays fairly close to my skin.

Madrona

Heliotrope is definitely the star player here. Something about the composition also reads suntan lotiony to me, creamy, almost coconutty. I actually don't find it that sweet, there is a bitterness to it, indeed kind of like when you accidentally get lotion on your lips and it tastes bitter. I realize now that my description isn't necessarily the most appealing thing in the world, it's just different from what I expected. L. T. Piver Heliotrope Blanc comes to mind, and I much prefer the utter subjective loveliness of said perfume. I don't think Kiss Me Intense conjures intense images of to kiss in imperative, to me it reads like puppy love.

I haven't tried this but it seems some notes are missing. Here's the description on lucky scent:

A soft veil for a distinguished and opulent orange flower, ylang absolute, bitter almond and drops of anise which give this fragrance a sensual and smooth vibration. Heliotrope is the most enchanting of perfumes, both intense, sweet and mysterious. It is one of those flowers whose essence cannot be extracted. Like lily of the valley, lilac, violet or gardenia, it retains its perfume jealously and gives it up only to those who go near. And in the right conditions (the time of day, rate of humidity, temperature, stage of flowering, etc), you will discover a scent that takes you from vanilla to aniseed, via almonds and freshly-cut hay: truly an olfactory journey.

shushkin

Its very yummy and a sweet gourmand fragrance. I dont know where its coming from but I definitely get an unripe banana skin smell. I think its the combination of vanilla, ylang ylang and heliotrope creating this fragrance. Its different to many of my fragrances so I might get fb. The whole fragrance conjures up some exotic paradise island. It would be perfect to wear on a warm romantic evening. I keep thinking I should have an exotic sweetly fragrant flower in my hair. Moderate sillage and longevity.

LaDomna

Missing quite a few notes here... Official notes from the brand:
Top notes: Lemon, Almond, Anise
Middle notes: Heliotrope, Jasmine, Ylang, Orange Blossom, Clove, Cinnamon
Base notes: Vanilla, Opoponax, Musk

LiliShineOn

Firstly, my EDP is Kiss Me Intense - there is no Tender in the name, nor can I find it on the Nicolai Official Site.
Secondly, it reminds me of a memory that I can't place, which is driving me crazy. I think it is the hay, reminding of summer days riding my bike! I have never smelled Heliotrope, so I can't recognize it, but I do get a sugar cookie sweetness smell.
No Star Anise for me, but I hope that develops later on.
Great summer fragrance, I think...

Ok tried it again and I am definitely getting the star anise! I think my perfume education has definitely begun!
