I did the same thing as the person right below me but actually find myself liking this EDT more! It’s got a bit more of an airy, green thing going on thanks to the LOTV. The EDP is very dense, candied rose and iris. They are both nice (not much more than *nice*), suitable for casual everyday wear, but different enough to justify owning both. Personally, I’ll be keeping this one.

Blossomlove

I bought this when I intended to buy the EDP and I suggest you save your coins and get the EDP. This is straight powder-baby powder. I was really looking forward to the iris note but unfortunately they left that out of the EDT composition. I'm not a huge fan of LOTV and this is powder and LOTV. I only spent $31 on this so I'm not too bummed and maybe I'll find a layering combination for this in the future but I'm really bummed I didn't look on here before buying it to see the big differences between the EDP and the EDT.

valevaleria

Starts with delicate rose, and then, it settles in the caracteristic NR musc. Lovely.

rasteria

It’s ultra feminine and fluffy, dusty roses with some sweet powder and musk. A modern version of Tocade by Rochas. Perfect for winter days, cuddles and carelessness. Best blind buy in years.

Omg, I feel like the Musk of this perfume is a bit wrong. It's really not right, when I spray it on my skin it smells cool but a bit fishy and very unpleasant. And I shook my head immediately.

jackieoprean

this scent has a soapy note that i dont get with the edp. it's worth the buy because the two scents are so different it's almost like it should be in a yellow cube its a scent of its own. no powder note just clean sweet and musky. i will wear it till its gone but will repurchase the edp next. this is a real summery scent daytime for sure

i get many compliments on all the cubes especially the poudre i didn't realize i was purchasing the edt but i will say it lasts very well for a edt

jackieoprean

has a note i dont smell in the edp. a bit more bitter than powdery. Not much of a powdery scent at all you can still smell a bit of powder in the edp. I love it though its different enough to even consider it an entirely different perfume by Naciso. That's how much different the two formulations smell to me but I love them both but will be repurchasing the edp after this bottle is gone. I tsmells sweet and musky and has a clean soapy scent that I don't pick up in he edp will wear it till its gone worth buying due to how different they are it is like it should be in a yellow cube. Yellow is the color for this scent.

Lovely smell, but sooooo light.
My bottle was empty in no time because if I love a good scent, I want to smell it.
For me it was a really light version of Kenzo Flower, what I really liked, because I thought that Flower was a little bit too much sometimes.
But this one was really airy.
Maybe should had bought the perfume and not the eau the toilette.

SophiaViolette

Stunning and elegant musky floral opening, very soft initially, and becomes more intense, rose, white florals and woody fresh, as it settles on your skin. However it’s not a suffocating rose nor a powdery lily-of-the-valley, the two are well balanced together.
The base notes subtly bring green freshness.

At dry-down, I mostly get a sensual lily-of-the-valley. This is feminine, gentle and wearable daily.

one of the best lily of the valley I've ever tried. really beautifully done! and considering I really don't enjoy lily of the valley I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this.

tr_is

In warmer weather, the opening was very medicinal and slightly unpleasant but turned into beautiful soft rose with sweet vanilla scent after an hour or so. Less powdery and musky compared to EDP.

In colder weather, the medicinal opening wasn't noticeable and smelled like cozy warm powdery vanilla that I'd love to fall asleep to. Even more similarity to the EDP but still slightly lighter, definitely much prefer it this way.

Nocciola23

I bought this while travelling as it was on sale and I'd heard good things about it, but I decided the musk was very sharp to me, like bug spray.
I wore it for a couple of days and several people approached me to ask what perfume I was wearing. I even had to write the name down for someone.
I was so shocked! I decided it isn't so bad after all but I still find the musk to be very medicinal.

supersaiyan

This is my favourite NR cube! The opening is a bit sharp with sweet musk that never becomes cloying, just melts right into your skin. The sweetness is natural, not overtly sweet as in the gourmands filled with vanilla and caramel. Rouge is not a love for everyone, but for me it is a holy grail. I think it might be the first perfume I empty in my mega-collection, and that's definitely saying something as I near 200 bottles (eek!). It is the closest to "signature" as I can get - I feel fine wearing it everywhere (work, sleep, etc. just not the nightclub!) and never get tired of the scent.

Coriemulvey

This is a Lilly of the valley that is done in such a sophisticated way. It’s not a skin lotion, or dewy LOTV scent, but rather a LOTV accentuated by a powdery rose. This is the best Lilly of the valley that exists today. The bottle and the color red do not suit this scent. Also, if you don’t like or love this scent right away.. give it some time… it will turn into a love I promise. There is nothing else out there that smells quite like this…

Also probably the only LOTV that lasts all day… it’s definitely worth the money spent..

LMD

Hmmm I just can't make up my mind with this one. It's very much a perfume of two halves. I'm least keen on the opening, which is just a bit too something I can't put my finger on? Greenish? I think it may be the lily of the valley that isn't sitting right for me. But once you get past that, the rose makes a subtle appearance and the dry down is wow. So soft and musky woody yet sweet and comforting without being sugary. The tonka is lovely in this. I absolutely love this part, but this is also where it very much has become a skin scent so you have to bury your nose in your arm just to smell it. I may have to experiment with whether it would work better sprayed on clothes or a scarf. But at present I feel like I endure the opening to get to the beautiful ending.

Lalouve<3

oh, I love this one!So easy going, so beautiful and airy, yet noticeable when you wear it!This is a soft combo of freshly sharpened pencil and creminess and a bit of musk (a more wearable, classy, delicate musk-not the usual strong musk of the rest of the narciso perfumes that makes it smell like mint chewing gum).

This one is the perfume that your hand will daily be gravitating towards when you just want a soft beautiful perfume to go about your day... that is what I meant by 'easy going'...

It is a soft, fluffy elegance and totally appropriate for people that found the rest of the Narciso perfumes, too musky or too sweet, or too sour or too masculine-woody...this one guys is a balanced beauty... ethereal and just pretty.Oh, so pretty... <3

sarahvianares

This Parfum reminds me of a Faber Castell pencils, not in a bad way. I actually love it, it's woody rosy and powdery. To me it's sensual not sexy, delicate and fresh, it's perfect for a first date.

anidamasceno

Very similar to the EDP, but softer. Makes a great signature scent.

Luckyed

Blind bought a large bottle. Loved it from the opening, the rose note reminds me of Modern Muse Le Rouge or somewhere between MM Le Rouge and MM Rouge Gloss with a hint of a vinyl note. It differs in the dry down with the lily of the valley note which is sharp and green enough to perceive through the musk and powder.

Very wearable and comfortable scent. It is a day scent for me and suitable for any occasion including the office. I already know I will finish this bottle. It has left me very curious about the EDP but that will have to wait.

Elle Ayah

Just got this today. As I predicted, it is reminiscent of the discontinued L'eau for Her. Pretty, musky lily of the valley. Fresh, soft, powdery but not unbearably so. Can be an everyday scent all year round. Keeper.

jenn.ca

Oh wow. I didn’t expect to be so enamoured by a fragrance. Gorgeous and delicate, soft like a whisper.

EDIT: After smelling this a few times (and FYI, still loving it), I just had to change my review. This fragrance is Johnson’s baby wipes with added je ne sais quoi. Like a posh baby wipe, that is heavily perfumed. Yet it keeps its freshness and its pretty quality. If you want less of the baby wipe and more of a sweet, balmy musky type smell then spray on your clothing rather than your skin. I enjoy this because I have nothing in my collection quite like it. :)

latafan

Short review for this one.

Good dose of Lily of the Valley in the opening. The dry down is a clean and creamy musk with the softest underlying touch of rose. Sillage is moderate on me. Longevity around 4 hrs. I have to say though this is based on the two tiny spritz's I took from my sample vial. I'm positive if you apply it more liberally it'll last longer, especially on clothes.

I have to say I quite like it. It's not overly complicated and would make for a perfect everyday scent for daytime wear - for office, school, free time, you name it. I feel it's the kind of scent that people would comment positively on when you hug them. I just remember friends of mine smelling like this in the past and me telling them they smell nice. Not sure I would go out of my way to pick a bottle up myself, but if somebody gifted it to me I'd happily use it.

If you know someone likes clean musk based fragrances, this would make a lovely gift for them.

awesomeamiyah

My Mom had it last year and I love the smell! It's luxurious and natural.

rostov14

All Narciso line flankers have a common trait- predominant woodiness of their musk composition. This one is no exception, but to a far less extent. It comes across as a very attenuated version of its famous predecessor Narciso EDP.
Rose with tonka bean together create the veil of delicious sweetness around you, whereas the lily of the valley only adds some piquantness to it.
There are no pockets in this shroud, no rough edges, exceptionally well-blended scent; warm and fresh, delicate and charming; comforting and yet vivacious.
Wonderful summer choice! However, strong lasting power and sillage are not expected. Subtle aroma.
Somehow, I'm in love.
Update: Actually, it's quite a potent scent. After eight hours of having worn this perfume, I still get complimented on its beautiful aroma. Amazing!

lrobin8205

It reminds me of Babe (which I hated back in the day) but I love this to death and am buying a bottle.

Edit 12/14/21
This is finally mine. I get a very “dressy” vibe with this and envision wearing it to formal events, polished to the nines - -although I wear it daily and to sleep. Supremely underrated.

Philoxenia

After I spent days reading about the scent and looking at pictures of this magnificent jewel of a bottle, I finally pleasured myself with a blind buy.
Oh my oh my... the satisfaction when it finally came.
Unpacking the box, taking out this gorgeous bottle, holding it in my hand... just looking at it gave sooo much pleasure. But then, le moment suprême... one spritz is all it took to give me that last push straight into the heavens above!
It is fresh. It's romantic. It's sweet. It is tough. It's complicated. It is nothing like I ever smelled before.
It is what I have been missing with Fleur Musc, which is pure rose. This has more orange and red to it. More complicated. More thougness. Less nice. More danger. But at the same time more fresh.
I finally found my signature scent.

nadiadncr

This was a blind buy for me based on the reviews of my fellow Fragranticans. As with all the NR fragrances there is some undeniable quality and elegance. This one has the NR DNA very prominent like all of his fragrances. It is musky but with an unexplained freshness to it but not in the traditional sense. Even though I can't recall how the edp smells from this line it does remind me a little bit of fleur de musc and NR for woman the white bottle. It's an edt with a good lasting power and good projection. It sits close to the skin after a while and it gives you a feeling of comfort and freshness. Perfect for the office and daytime. The bottle is GORGEOUS!

auroramaria

I love original Rouge in EDP but I must admit that this EDT is equally good.It is less rich and less powdery than the EDP and also it is a tad fresher. It is still very cozy and a bit sweet but what I like most than anything is that this EDT is soft and airy easier to wear than EDP

Soft, elegant, feminine, demure, and completely unapproachable; the epitome of femininity

"Narciso Rouge Eau de Toilette for women"

"For women"

The effect that these labels have on some people's minds is borderline mental slavery.

I work at a big fragrance retailer and one too many times I get a customer who absolutely loves a fragrance, but ultimately refuses to buy it simply because the marketing "gender" of the fragrances wasn't the same as theirs. It's a shame that they let their eyes trick their nose.

I'm writing this under this fragrance because when I first smelled it, it felt almost identical to Amouage Lyric MAN.

The damp and citrusy floral opening, the super powdery musk and the dry base of woods are all too similar to Lyric Man.

I'm sure they are not completely the same and if I do a side by side comparison, I'll be able to identify the differences.

But as of now, all 3 times that I've smelled Narciso Rouge EDT, it conjures the exact memory I have of how Lyric Man smells like.

Two fragrances that are all too similar. One is niche and is marketed for men. One is designer and is marketed for women.

The sooner these labels die, the better people can compare and appreciate fragrance for what they are and not with the campaign and image behind it.

Very nice parfum.. very soft powdery so soft Lily of the valley very feminine.. fun and sexy.. not overwhelming smell's so nice.. I'm enjoying this creamy dreamy steamy sweet parfum.. the Lily of the valley is lovable in this parfum..so luxurious

masako_30

Narciso Rouge EdT deceives me, it confuses, it disguises itself. It presents a poudrée puff, the trail it releases is balmy and powdery, I think it's the tonka bean.
Contemporary.
Like a magician who messes up the cards, only when I'm closer to the skin does it show with charm the fresh green scent, perhaps the lily of the valley, a bitter botanical.
After a short time the game reverses, musk appears on the clothes, and my skin smells like a slightly rubbery balm. Inviting, caressing. Enchanting, deceptive. Intimist.
I applaud it for this dualism and naturalness, aswell for its different kind of simplicity.
I will have it. Soon.

When I was a kid there was this candy called FIZZERS (similar to the Love Hearts). Think of that when smelling Narciso Rouge- mouthwatering!

Since the Edp is one of my favourite perfumes I had to get the EDT !
There is a relatively small twist on the Edp. A touch brighter. A little less powdery , a little less dense , a tiny bit more fresh.
The EDT is less dense and has the iris replaced by Lili of The Valley. The vanilla has been taken out here as well which makes the scent less rich. They are both excellent , creamy and fresh, clean soapy and elegant. Top shelf !
Maybe I will wear the EDT in the daytime and Edp at night. Or EDT in the summer and Edp winter .
Update , as I have been wearing it more I can notice a bigger difference now. EDT is definitely much fresher I can smell the lily of The Valley quite strong and not nearly as much powder and vanilla in this EDT. So yes quite different and nice for summer or mornings .
Surprisingly the edt version is stronger in the sense of musky freshness. Almost like dryersheets , Sharper and fresher and brighter . I love it now so much that I can’t get enough. I am thinking I like it a touch better than the EDP. It’s a creamy fresh fantastic musky perfume.

raiza1990

A lighter and sheerer version of the original. Musky, a bit sweet, very feminine and elegant. I like it more than the edp. This one is softer and classier. Would be a good signature fragrance for a romantic and dreamy lady.
Those who like Narciso Rodriguez’s scents will surely like this one too.
Sillage is soft, longevity is moderate.
Final note: 9/10
