I had high expectations, maybe too high. It's weird because based on the notes listed here, the only thing that could be the problem is the heliotrope. I'll let it rest and try it again in the fall and winter.

HoneyRum

Delightfully artificial. This fragrance is fun and sweet and doesn't take itself too seriously. The cherry is similar to the cherry used in the la petite robe noire line, so if you're hoping to get something like lost cherry you're going to be disappointed. I'm almost done with my little travel spray and I fully intend on getting a bottle at some point

Prunel

Of course I'm talking about MY nose on MY skin. But this is not good imo. It's rare I that I really don't like a Mancera fragrance, this is one of them. There's no exciting quality about this fragrance imo. I LOVE almost every single note on paper, yet this doesn't smell good at all to me. It's a very synthetic fragrance that opens up super sharp. The cherry note is very unnatural and not well made at all imo. It remains pretty sharp on my skin for the whole wearing experience. The drydown is way better than the first 1h30. Performance isn't as good as many Mancera fragrances. Disapointed, this is just ok for me.

roxyrako

LOVE IT! It smells intoxicating on me. The smell lingers on my clothes and skin for a while and I get compliments on it all the time. This is an all season scent for me, don't care lol.

ursula368

Weird to me. Used to love it at first, and then felt like it turned different, way to strong or alcoholic. My fiancee hated it, then I've resold it.

Alejandro.e.super

I absolutely love this fragrance! It was a blind buy for me and it was totally worth it. It starts off by smelling kind of like Dr. Pepper but in a really good way. Then it smells kind of shampoo-like. It remains sweet the whole way through. I am not a huge fan of TF Lost Cherry and Wild Cherry is different than that. WIild Cherry is beastmode! So watch the trigger because you can choke people out.

Esna

One of my preferred layering scents. I’ve tried so many cherry scents; TF Lost Cherry, Mula Mula, Cherry Punk are perfect on their own, but this is perfect for layering for an added cherry pop because it morphs to compliment the fragrance it’s layered over. It plays very well with a plethora of fragrances for transforming or enhancing them. It’s never cloying nor smells cheap on me at all. I even add it to my BF fragrances and it gives his scents a cherry coke boozy facet. It gives cool girl scents a clean cherry musk vibe and so on. And when there are scents I don’t really like, I layer with this and bam! You will get a different type of cherry (tart, syrupy, fresh, synthetic, black, etc) depending on what scent you layer over. 🍒 But when worn alone, it gives me cherry flavored Pop Rocks candy sprinkled over real maraschino cherries and a few fresh cherries as well. But if that bores you, give it another chance and layer with it instead. 👌🏻

buggaluggachug

very fake cheap cherry note. smells like a gas station and porter potty water lol.

TallButShort

Lesson learned, never blind buying anything ever again! I was so excited for this perfume and was confident in my purchase due to the comparisons to some Guerlain fragrances. Unfortunately it gave me a headache at first spray.

The cherry scent is very syrupy (to my nose at least). The strength and longevity is no joke. It's been 24 hours and the scent is still stuck on me despite taking a shower and trying to scrub it off! The quality of the perfume and bottle is great, it's just a shame that I can't stand the smell.

EDIT: A reviewer above says it smells like Pop Rocks over maraschino and fresh cherries, which sounded heavenly so I decided to try the perfume again after leaving it alone for a couple of months. It is important to note that skin chemistry can change the scent dramatically and unfortunately my skin doesn't want me to smell like delicious candy and cherries. That being said, I'm not sure if the perfume itself matured or my nose became more tolerant of it, but I'm able to enjoy it now. This still isn't a scent profile for me but I do now get why other people would like it.

For me, it does have an Arab Royalty vibe to it (which makes sense considering it's Pierre Montale). I can imagine a character like Princess Jasmine wearing this. It is more feminine leaning but a man with confidence can pull it off. It's thick, syrupy, loud, and grabs attention. The perfume is sour/tarte in the beginning but after a couple of hours it turns more sweet with the jasmine and vanilla notes. The cherry stays throughout, starting off as a sour cherry and turning powdery near the end. When it becomes a skin scent, it smells like MMM Lipstick On but with a cherry twist. It isn't the most complexed perfume. It can be layered but it has enough depth for it to be worn alone.

Do keep in mind Mancera/Montale fragrances are known to be very loud so the smell can be screechy and overwhelming if that's not your thing. The more projection and longevity a perfume has, the more synthetic the notes need to be. I can see how this would be cheap smelling to some people. For me, two sprays are more than enough. Anything more than that will give me a headache. One time I sprayed it four times and the entire floor could smell me. There were no complaints and only compliments but it'd be stuffy for someone who is sensitive to perfume. Not office friendly if you overspray.

I don't understand the comparisons to the Guerlain fragrances. The dry down of Wild Cherry might be similar in terms of it being powdery but thats after hours of it being bitter and sour. I can't think of any cherry perfume like Wild Cherry- that's not to say it's better (wouldn't be my first pick), but it's definitely unique.

None of Kayali's current fragrances have the same scent as Wild Cherry, but it has that rich arab vibe that Kayli tends to have. If you enjoy Kayali then Mancera/Montale might be worth exploring. But always sample before buying- it is NOT a safe blind buy.

Healthy scents

No matter what other reviewers think of it, it's a compliments getter for me. I definitely love the way it makes me feel and it last the whole entire day.

emgailba

This scent has been on my wish list forever, so I purchased a little dabber sample from FragranceNet--the package was branded correctly, but maybe there's been some mistake? Not only do I NOT get cherry, I get this strange, powdery, bad men's cologne vibe. If my sample is legit, perhaps I'm only getting the heart, just heliotrope and patch. The sample did rest, but of course that doesn't mean the sample I received wasn't old or degraded.

This is a first impression. It smells wild in the opening. I get a tarte and bitter opening then it turns green and powdery on paper I don’t get much cherry. On skin it smells like a red cherry candy. Imagine a girl sucking on a red cherry lollipop and when she is done with it her lips are stained red and you can still smell cherry on her .She is wearing a nice sophisticated perfume and the smells mixed a bit. She is in her mid 20s and decided to have a treat that day or she might have stolen that cherry candy from her little sister. She decided “I’m going to eat and I won’t feel guilty about it”Hahahah after 15 minuets you ask yourself she looks like she is in her 20 but I think she is 30. Sweet powdery cherry goodnes . The opening is wild but it mellows down as it dries down. It doesn’t smell like cough sirup to me. Not sure about the longevity as I’m smelling and writing this first impressions. I’ll get back to ya.

LauraAD

Cherry and lemon sherbert, but without being sugary sweet. A little powdery. The vanilla and heliotrope come through in the drydown, but they're always background to the cherry/lemon combo. I was surprised by how much I like it and want to reach for it in the spring weather. Big projection, and lasts for around 12h.

The other day I layered it with Instant Crush, and that was amazing!

SuzScents

Wild Cherry has a few of my favorite notes: Sour Cherry, Iris, Heliotrope and White Musk.

The opening is BIG sour cherry and citrus. After it calms down a bit, it goes sweet tart powdery candy-like on my skin. Not at all medicinal. It's an uncomplicated mood that suits me, at times.

It can be overwhelming if over-sprayed; but just two sprays offer amazing longevity.

Jenbug23

Oh man. Looking at the notes I was so excited but the actual perfume was terrible. It was a thick cherry flavored cough syrup smell that I just could not get with. Over time it intensified. It was okay when layered with something else but for the price I don’t want to force myself to use it.

Laurus

Not like real cherry but more like cherry coke. The powderyness mixed with artificial cherry in this makes me think it smells like makeup. I am happy I did not blind buy. It is not bad but I do not wish to spray makeup smell on myself. It is also very linear. It smells the same from beginning to end. I feel this is a safe choise. It will not annoy anyone, and it it does you can say youre not wearing any perfume but it is your makeup theyre smelling haha.

Shaina87

I get a sour, medicinal cherry at the opening. Then it quickly turns to a sweet, creamy and powdery floral with a lot of tart and juicy cherry. I love it! I wear this year round but use less sprays in the spring/summer. It's a beast! And the bottle is gorgeous. Mancera is one of my favorite fragrance houses.

Edit/ this isn't similar to those syrupy and boozy cherry fragrance. This is a very tart and juicy cherry. The kind that makes your mouth water. It's really nice during the warmer months. I also like layering it with a vanilla if I want to tone down the tartness and sweeten it up a bit.

Skinterpreter

This is my first cherry perfume. What I get from the scent is a very potent and delicious sour cherry note that is still very prominent to my nose even after some time in the dry down. Actually, to me it's quite persistent.
Beside that, there is definitely strong patchouli note, which makes me think of the rose, Iris and patchouli combination in Dahlia Noir by Givenchy. It feels very similar to that. Yes, Wild Cherry is really about cherry and powder. :) It's also quite sweet and intense, I'm loving it so far.
I wanted to try if me and cherry would get along, and this fragrance convinced me I can take a look at some other cherry perfumes... Based on the comment below, I really want to get Cherry Punk at some point. :) the notes also sound quite promising.
So far, Wild Cherry by Mancera seems like something I will enjoy wearing a lot. :) and the bottle is so nice, too!

LMBelvi

This is just a comment for fellow cherry lovers--don't ignore Cherry Punk, which is my hands-down-favorite, no-joke, can't- be-beat cherry fragrance. I recommend it a lot because I don't want it to go out of production!! LOL.

EmpressVision

I love gourmand cherries frags but this was a big miss for me. The cherry + powder=cloying. I gave my FB to my daughter. On her, it smells the way it's supposed to smell. On me, it's gives old church lady vibes...she keeps butterscotch candy and peppermints in her humongous patent leather black purse for the kids at Sunday school. :-(

Fendi L'Acquarossa Elixir is juicer because there's no powdery note.

PerfumedParrot

I like how patchouli dominant this take on cherry is. I prefer this to Lost Cherry (it lasts longer at least). And I prefer this to Zara’s Cherry Smoothie.
Wild Cherry is so bold and loud, that it becomes a bit too sweet for me. Especially when it amps-up it’s power and almost gets a Poison type of loud nectary sharpness.
But my favourite cherry is still Una Tira L’Altra.

zura87

Reminds me of Dior J'adore which I don't like.
When it dries it's less powerful, but the opening is too sweet.

Mysticmiah1970

I’ve been on the lookout for another cherry perfume after falling in love with guerlain black perfecto edp.wow this one is beautiful to I get the citrus at the top with the cherry before the creamy florals come into play the patchouli is there but is a lot softer with the musk and vanilla keeping it from going to earthy. It lasts all day on my skin I’m so happy to finally having this in my collection. This to me could be worn day and evening where I think black perfecto is more a night time scent. They don’t smell identical which I’m glad about wild cherry is brighter where’s black perfecto is a darker fragrance.I can’t stop smelling my wrist every time I wear this.Another successful buy from Mancera which is fast becoming one of my top 5 brands

Jexy

It’s so strong parfume... cherry scents that note predominates for sure... all days you can smell cherry 🍒. After 12 + hours it becomes more powdery and not so pronounced... long lasting, and for me look similar lika some Arabian parfume.. 10/10 ...it’s better to use for winters seasons 😊

dearfawn

Spraying this is like opening a bottle of carbonated beverage; I get an effervescent sensation and aroma of cherry limeade and then Mr. Pibb. The powderiness of the orris acts like carbonation, an airy veil that obfuscates the syrupy sweetness of the liquid.

On my skin, I only get the cherry note for the first hour and then the fragrance becomes something entirely different. From hour 2 through 12+ it becomes powdery violet vintage soap. If you enjoy gourmand scents, the first hour is unisex. After that it leans feminine but it’s a clean smell, like if you washed up with your grandma’s soap. Not unpleasant but a surprising twist.

I like to layer Guess Seductive Red over this and some kind of strange alchemy between the two perfumes enables that cherry cola accord to last 12+ hours on my skin. It also dampens the powdery effect. If you want that cherry note to stick around wearing just Wild Cherry, you have to spray it on your clothes. After 7 hours, I could still smell that medicinal cherry lozenge everyone is referencing (in my opinion, it smells like I spilled Mr. Pibb on my shirt).

piahellgren

Lots of gorgeous cherry and earthy patchouli. I also smell the slightly violet aspect of orris root and a non-shrieky Mancera style musk. Very beautiful. Don’t get how some reviewers don’t think it is a cherry bomb! Best cherry perfume I have tried.

karlee79

This don't even compare to any of the perfumes mention in comparison above , not even close. This smells like a extra powdery Parma violet candy bomb , there's a slight cherry smell in the beginning but it's gone so fast , this is a less sweet version on choco violet by mancera , all I can say is extremely potent violet. Still beautiful and will wear it lots but if you want a Chery cherry perfume try Zara's new cherry smoothie

Sanrio

The opening is absolutely punishing Halls red coughdrops, and it takes awhile to settle in too (especially on clothes.)
After about 20 minutes, the most gentle sweet-sour fresh cherry scent settles in. I highly recommend spraying this on skin and not clothes (clothes really hang on to the cough drop smell.)

I get a little bit of orris/iris and patchouli mentioned in the note period but zero vanilla and heliotrop- this is NOT an almond-cherry-marzipan kind of smell. It is pure cherry and all it's facets- cough drops, jolly ranchers, cherry pie, fresh juicy cherries from the tree.

It's great for layering as well since it's pretty one note cherry. For example, I think if you were to layer this over Lost Cherry, it would enhance the longevity and keep the cherry smell in the dry down.

To compare it to La Petit Robe Noir, it has less of the generic "fruitchouli" undertone LPRN has, doesn't have the rubber balloon note you get sometimes with LPRN, but Wild Cherry does have way more of the dreaded cough syrup smell in the opening which LPRN doesn't have.

Slickchick81

I am wild about this cherry, it's wonderful. It is almost gourmand but still perfumey. Wearing this has turned heads, both men and women asking what I am wearing. No issues with longevity, lasted the whole workday without the need to top up, also sillage, let's just say you will leave a trail behind you. 10/10 I like it more than Lost Cherry, I said what I said.

Nanalvzpink

I purchased this thinking that I was going to get cherry, but instead I got NIVEA CREAM. I’m not kidding, it smells just like NIVEA. Ugh! So yeah, it’s definitely powdery.

Hopefully in the days to come I get cherry😔🍒

Update: I still don’t get much cherry, but I do like it a lot.

Update #2: The cherry is coming out to play now. I’m not sure if it’s because the bottle has aged a little or I’m getting accustomed to the other notes, but the cherry is there.

Again, this is still very powdery. In no way shape or form is this a dupe for Lost Cherry by Tom Ford.

Longevity is amazing! This is definitely a beast mode fragrance!

photonparable

This stuff is hilariously strong. I first sprayed it on my skin, gave it a whiff, and couldn't help but laugh!

As others say, it's a very saccharine, artificial cherry that projects like crazy. A bit of powder, but can still be worn by a man with a dash of confidence. Could be a great layering tool in the right circumstances. Make your Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EDP go nuclear, or add an unexpected twist to your BR540. My first couple wearings, the opening was borderline abrasive, but now that most of my nose hairs have been singed off, the fakeness of the cherry is almost addictive in an odd way.

This is one of those fragrances that grows on you the more you wear it. I never would have purchased in store, but after blind buying and forcing myself to deal with the consequences, I'm having much more fun than I expected. While others may assert their olfactory dominance with musty, fecal ouds, Wild Cherry does so with its almost satirical level of projection & simplistic artificiality. Wear with pride, or caution.

FirstSense

Yes, this Wild Cherry from Mancera reminds me of La Petite Robe Noir. it has the same heavy sour cherry opening. But this synthetic cherry is so thick and strong that it over powers The Guerlain. And the performance is absolutely stunning. I tested this at the perfume store and weeks! later I could still smell a lovely sweet cherry scent on my wintercoat. I wanted a cherry fragrance for my collection and this is a good one for the Xmass days and winter season. It leans a bit towards the feminine side, but I don’t mind that at all. The linear performance is not annoying, it’s cherry what I wanted and it’s cherry what I get. With cherry, cherry and cherry and some other sweet notes like vanilla, jasmin and musk. The other mentioned notes do not enter my olfactory system.

Cherry_Darling

Not in love with this one, the orris root ruins it for me. It has a real medicinal / powdery aspect to it - synthetic too and just too much vintage vibes here. A few make up bag perfumes have this same effect that puts me off personally (thinking Antoine Lebreton Incarnata) but if you like the vintage makeup bag tart almost sour vibe, you might enjoy this. I do enjoy the cherry note though.

Gruhlanska96

Exact same perfume as La petite robe noire!

Veronika95

A little weaker version of La Petite Robe Noire. Very nice, if you like cherry you can't go wrong with this. It's warm cozy and sexy but I don't smell too much cherry perfumes around me so it's quite unique to wear 🍒 honestly I can't detect anything besides the cherry. Not that it's not there, I just can't point my finger on anything else.
The bottle was a big selling point for me

katariina9

Floral powdery vanilla berry scent, its quite nice, and in no way wild :) Cherry is there, but more like a cocktail cherry, slightly jammy and it quite soon transforms into nondescript berry jam. For Mancera, it is a very well-behaving scent, its floaty, comfy and beautiful, plus has some depth, and projects in a gentle but persistent way. Its also nicely blended with none of the florals coming out too much. I like the orris here a lot, it counteracts the heliotrope and the latter is not too strong. Also patchouli is quite tamed. Its a good winter-wear with grown up berry top, very cosy, and relatively unisex imo.

What comes to cherry scents overall, I've sniffed a lot lately and almost given up in finding a realistic cherry scent. Come to think of it, fresh cherry doesn't have a strong scent, its more recognisable in pastry and various flavoured floods, such as candy, coke, chocolate etc. Therefore most of cherry fragrances also imitate either artificial cherry flavour or pair it with almond and tonka for a cherry pie/cake effect (looking at you TF Lost Cherry). In fact, I've found my most cherry-like creation in cinnamon accord in Kensington Amber that has not even a remote cherry note in it. Whilst Cherry Punk achieves drawing attention to cherry really well in dry-down by contrasting it with leather.

This one has a cherry look-a-like in a seamless supporting act. And its not bad, but its really well-behaved lovely berry rather than cherry. (Btw, finding this potentially slightly smoother wear than L'Homme Ideal EdP, sorry fans!)

penguinrabbit

The initial scent is very synthetic and chemically, it improves in the dry down into morello cherry and almond with a hint of vanilla and a bit boozy. Sadly, the synthetic edge never quite goes away which makes it a no for me though it has promise. Its a shame I wanted to love this.

Shan101beauty

Reminds me a lot of Lolita Lemprica. A powdery cherry scent with some muskiness some sweetness

innocent_elmo

Super excited to get this perfume. Amazing initial scent of sweet, powdery, morello cherries and almonds but this quickly dissipated when on the skin. I was then left with the scent of musky, woody, earthiness which is too heavy a scent for my liking. Possibly just the way it reacted with my skin, but there is nothing I can do about that! If only there was a way to keep the initial scent I would have easily rated it 5 stars.

Punkrockbebop

For me, there isn’t much going on with this perfume. It smells a little harsh at first, then settles down into a powdery very musky perfume with a hint of cherry and heliotrope. It also comes and goes and is quiet, I think because I’m slightly anosmic to some musks. I’m disappointed that I don’t get much of the medicinal vibe that some mention. I wish there were more cherry and more wildness going on.

$¢enta$ti¢

Powdery, fizzy/sparkling, cherry, limeade candy? 🍒 🍋 🍬 🍭 🤔

To my nose I get a powdery and fizzy like cherry vibe from this fragrance.

I own TF lost cherry and Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP. This does not compare to either fragrances because it does smell a bit synthetic.

However, I’m not mad this fragrance. Mancera wild cherry is very sweet almost candy like. 100% I get a cherry limeade feeling from this scent. If you like cherry and citrus mixed with vanilla and musk you should probably should get this. Majority of the time this fragrance is sold out almost everywhere at discounters that alone should tell you if it’s purchase worthy or not.

I don’t get any medicinal cherry accords that everyone says. I have smelled tons of cherry frags and own a bunch and my favorite is BDK rouge smoking. I think that cherry accord is very intense.

This fragrance is definitely unisex. If your someone who loves cherry limeade this fragrance is for you. This does not break the bank. If you want something in the guerlain Dna or TF lost cherry this does the job and goes in a different cherry/citrus direction. The vanilla and cherry in this shines in the dry down. They compliment each other.

I get shit load of compliments when I wear this fragrance from both females and males. Fragrances vary on skin chemistry. On my skin at the opening and 2 hours in. This smells refreshing like cherry limeade candy but once it settles it gets warm and the vanilla and patchouli and musk comes through mellowing everything down without killing down the projection and sillage. I would say this fragrances has many stages of smells.

joey.w

Man, I hunted and hunted for a full bottle of Wild Cherry, almost to the point of obsession. I've always loved cherry scents and the idea of a "stronger Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP" was a very appealing idea. I ended up finding a bottle after half a year of searching.

The first 3 hours of Wild Cherry is it's biggest letdown. I was expecting a dark, sweet, edgy cherry, much like Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP. However, this cherry is a synthetic, sharp, bright, fruity, almost cordial like cherry that stings my nose. Somehow my taste buds react to this fragrance too which is really unpleasant, I always end up tasting this somehow.
As Wild Cherry dries down, it does a full 180. Somehow this goes from intensely tacky and synthetic, to smooth and natural. The cherry note mellows out and gives way to sweet vanilla and orris. This is the highlight. It's a really pleasant dry down that lingers for the rest of it's lifespan. If you could amp up the dry down and replace it as the top, I would have loved this.

Performance is typical Mancera quality. 10 hours + and strong. Appropriate for autumn, winter, and cool spring days.

I ended up selling this and keeping a 10ml decant for myself. I let myself hype this up in my head, and it ended up mostly disappointing me.
It's a nice fragrance with major flaws. Made me appreciate L'homme Ideal EDP even more.
Gets an "OK" rating from me.

Wait for the dry down.

Will Bagwell

Sprayed an hour ago... Calling it early on this one: Pure hype.

Powdered-cherry-soap.

A bit of woods and a lil spice would have gone a long way if they were added to this fragrance.

This gives me a Thierry Mugler vibe. Can't say that is a compliment.

Might keep it in the rotation and pretend it's Guerlain's L'Homme Ideal EDP. Wild Cherry shares that vibe, but lacks the superior blend of L'Homme Ideal.

Blacktundras

I have no idea why a man wouldn't wear this. Do you guys know how hot it would be to smell this on hot guy smelling like dark cherries and vanilla??? Oh well, more for me.

mariustao

heliotrope note is making this more feminine

FlyGirl81

I agree 100% with TotallyFrenzied.

Powdery. Not like cherry liquor.
Disappointing.

I'm not sure if this gave me a headache or I already had one coming on. But in any case, I'm not a fan.

Rhialto the Marvellous

So I got a generous sample of this at Mysc.

I'm wearing it now. I reaaaaaally wanted to love this, because I have been looking for a cherry fragrance, but alas, this isn't for me. Not because it's too feminine, nothing like that. After reading the reviews here I was about ready to drop the cash on this, but thankfully I sampled it first!

What you need to realize about this one if you're considering a purchase, is that it is very powdery and soapy. Despite what others may have written, this is absolutely nothing like cherry liquor. There is nothing boozy or syrupy about it at all. And I guess that is what I'm looking for, and this is not it. It really is extremely powdery. On my skin, the cherry fades quickly, and what remains is a powdery, soapy, somewhat old fashioned rose-like scent. It is fresh and not balsamic. It is a totally different fragrance than Tom Ford Lost Cherry, so if you're looking for something like that, this is not it.

Now I am not saying this is a bad fragrance, it is not. For some of you this might be exactly what you're looking for, but you really should sample it. Do not blind buy!

Also, this gives me a solid headache, and I rarely experience that, even with completely synthetic fragrances.

My search continues for that gorgeous, boozy, syrupy cherry fragrance with excellent performance... I'll take suggestions!

Mancera Wild Cherry opens with a moderate to a strong projection of sweet, citrus, and cherry notes. The opening is fresh, fruity, sporty, versatile, refined, delectable, and very pleasant. The bergamot, cherry, and vanilla are the opening most noticeable notes. The bergamot and lemon have a brief visit, their citrus and sour notes are short-live but create a great opening for the rest of the notes. The cherry is a natural, sweet, fruity, tart, almond-like, delicious, and slightly sour note. As soon as the bergamot and lemon start to calm down, the orris and heliotrope add their powdery and delectable floral accords enhancing the cherry and soften the citrus notes. The orris is a prominent, very powdery, earthy, and violet-like note. The heliotrope has an almond, cherry, vanilla, sweet, and powdery accord, and seat side by side with the orris. The vanilla is noticeable as soon as the fragrance is applied, a sweet and delectable accord, it fully develops toward the dry down. The patchouli adds a very light green tone, but just that. The last noticeable note is the white musk, which adds a powdery, fresh lemony touch. The fragrance has a simple but noticeable opening to dry down change; the opening favors the citruses, cherry, and sweet vanilla; as the fragrance moves to its dry down, the citruses relax a bit, three very powdery notes develop, the orris, heliotrope, and white musk, the patchouli adds a soft fresh green touch, and the jasmine remains shy with its white floral accord. For nightout type.

OMG, it's like smelling straight from Guerlain's Black Perfecto bottle, smells great, it is cooler than Black Perfect but more intense, It's practically the same perfume at 95% of similarity.

Sweet cherry with vanilla.
For my taste it is too powerful, it makes me dizzy a little.

A longevity of more than 8 hours in my skin and projecting more than 5 hours with a huge sillage.
If you like Black Perfecto, try this one too :)

Sweetlady 123

Sweet and sticky cherry liqueur. That's what I get from this one. Totally unisex, in fact after first spray I thought it's pure male fragrance. After a while it's more wearable but tbh I don't know if I can pull this off. I think I should stop my blind buys for a while 😆

Printeza7

This is one of the most powerful fragrances I've tried.

The cherry is THERE undisputable! Sweet, cute, happy smell.Love it BUT you only need a tiny bit otherwise is too powerful. Good scent, interesting, a winner in one word! And it last for a veryyyy long time. Well done to the creator!

alvinzm

Elegant, a bit mysterious, and smooth. It is natural smelling and leaning towards feminine.

A great scent, but it is too feminine for me.

Cherrybubble

Oh the cherry in this scent is wonderful. It's like a luxurious cherry yogurt but not overly sweet. I get the medicinal note that others have mentioned but it's very faint and it just adds to the beauty. In no way at all does the cherry smell synthetic. To me it's a black juicy cherry that's nice and ripe. Stunning, I love it and I am delighted with my blind buy.

Hello, daddy. Hello, mom.
I'm your ch-ch-ch-cherry bomb!

A very powdery, soapy cherry bomb in the beginning (not my favorite stage, almost scrubbed it off).
After a while it turns fruitier, the citrus comes through with the vanilla to make a sweet and tart cherry bomb. Last long on skin and ages on clothing.

Zentocs

This is a hidden beauty! Much black cherry with creamy florals and a hint of vanilla- good to wearing, so pleasant. Very good sillage and longevity. Try if you love cherry!

Naji

The only luscious cherry I’ll ever wear. Masterfully blended.

Lamark

@Galiba to me it smelt just like Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Intense (or my nose is dead :s)

theelectra

I got the synthetic notes everyone is talking about. Right now I'm obsessed with Mancera because the musky base is always done so well, and a lot of the perfumes are not afraid to play with sweeter notes. Wild cherry does have a great musk, but the cherry note is synthetic. Wild Cherry, Wild Candy, and Wild Fruits are all two synthetic. Vanilla Exclusive and Roses Vanilla are worth checking out though.

tayyabforyouth

Mancera Wild Cherry is the most true to life cherry scent I've ever smelled. I really liked this way more than I thought it would. It smells like a cherry liquer. It's extremely pleasant and more in-your-face cherry than even Bogart pour Homme or Mugler Pure Havane. Very beautiful scent. The cherry in here is dark and supported by a musky accord in the background, but remains throughout the fragrance duration all the way to the end of the drydown. Projection (as with most Manceras) is superb while longevity is also superb, running at over 6 hours solid projection.

After reading all the nice reviews, I really wanted to love this, but sadly, when I tried it, it had too much of an almost vinyl effect on me. Objectively I can say that the smell of it is really nice: the cherry, vanilla, and heliotrope notes are definitely there, but it wasn't as gourmand as I wanted it to be. For me it was like a bouquet of flowers wrapped up in cherry and vanilla scented paper, which sounds nice - because it is nice! - but not quite the baked cherry pie smell that I had hoped for. For that, I much prefer Café Chantant by Nobile 1942. But if you like your cherries less gourmand, this might be perfect for you. And yes, it's very long lasting as well.

kumquat2

I love Mancera Wild Cherry! Cherry from start to finish, but the cherry is tart and fresh in the beginning with the citrus, then when the musk, heliotrope and vanilla join in it stays a delicious and bright cherry, but softens, grows cuddlier. I think this would work any season, but I am loving it now in the Fall. It's sweet, but not sugary. I feel almost drugged when I wear it, like the cherries have a soporific effect. So I smell amazing, and get a legal high, too! Longevity about five hours, longer as a skin scent. All in all, a 9 for me out of 10. Good stuff.

ayasafwat2

This one for me is not an easy one of the house of mancera to like since it's very very very powdery -i think it's from the orris roots probably- and cherry. At first i felt it was medicinal but i sampled it many times on my skin and now i feel that powdery cherry thing and it is VERY VERRYY STRONGGG!. I think the dry down is very nice it has that cherry cake tarte syrupy vibe which is yummy and delicious , and it's for a grown up person not less than 30 years also i think it's for the fall and winter time because it's very strong i think it would induce headaches to some people . for me i would probably layer it with some fresh cherry scent to make it better and less strong for me.

peppermoon

Mancera Wild Cherry opens with a promisingly tart cherry - not syrupy - then abruptly shifts it's textural track to become a blanket of fuzzy heliotrope and musk, tinted pink by the barest drop of cherry. There's something I love about the heliotrope here; it's delicate and has an addictive almond and licorice aspect. But unfortunately there's something I hate about the musk used here, something a little too "dryer sheet" that tickles my nose. I often have a problem with cheaper musks. Overall, neutral. Not something I'd reach for.

dinaia

I get synthetic and slightly medicinal fruit on a creamy base. First time I tried my sample I hit the dislike and like button in turn for several times. Couldn't decide whether I disliked the almost pungent opening or enjoyed the intriguing creamy-earthy undertone quickly coming thru. In the end I decided it's a like, as I found it surprising, original and it kept me guessing.

msajoy

mancera is pure love, own 5 so far, love 5 of them...aoud lemon mint, cedrat boise, red tobacco, lemon line and now this wild cherry, i get authentic cherry just like guerlain lhomme ideal edp...but this baby lasts all day...cherry bomb...it is unisex for sure but both genders can wear comfortably, will review on my channel Joy Amin soon,

So after one wearing I can safely call this a cherry and vanilla frag. It's pretty basic but smells great and performance is at 8 or 9 hours with heavy projection for at least half of that time so that's a big plus. It's way more unisex than Mancera Sicily but still is on the feminine side. The thing that I keep telling myself is that this frag is so simple hasn't one of the mall stores came out with something similar? Victoria Secrets, B&BW or somebody? I would prefer it on a female but I would wear it on a occasion.

corkscrewcurly

I need to add:

Following my accident with this the other night, the whole room still smells of Wild Cherry DAYS later (I've changed the duvet cover, but not the duvet as I don't have a spare winter-weight one), so I've reviewed my previous assessment of sillage and longevity to "enormous" and "very long lasting" respectively.

corkscrewcurly

This is not a review but a warning.

The bottle top of Mancera Wild Cherry which I own screws on; what I didn't know was that the atomiser also screws onto the bottle beneath.

Tonight I unscrewed the top, to sniff the atomiser head before spraying the perfume, when I was deciding what to wear tomorrow.

As I wasn't wearing my lenses, I didn't notice that the entire mechanism on the bottle top had disconnected, so sniffed the (open) bottle and moved it away from my nose, tilting it and spilling a considerable amount of Wild Cherry perfume onto my duvet, which - although fragrant - is now sodden.

Please be careful.

I purchased this a few weeks ago blind and was somewhat disappointed because, although I liked the scent it leaned VERY feminine on my skin. Finally grew the balls to wear this to work and got several complements, The cherry is beautiful and unlike most fruity frags the cherry does not die off - you will smell cherry from start to finish. Also be forewarned - this is a BEAST and keeps on going and going. Sprayed it on a t-shirt 6 days ago and when I pulled the shirt out of the hamper to wash it could still smell it STRONG on the shirt. Go easy on the trigger. If you are tired of short lived colognes give this a try, it will not disappoint. I don't get the medicinal cherry smell others describe. Just dark, rich, authentic cherry with a good dose of heliotrope. One of my favorite Manceras (and not a hind of OUD anywhere!! LOL)

I bought a bottle today, and I'm loving it. A great mix of Cherry, Orris and Heliotrope with a hint of Vanilla and Musk - and om my skin - softsweet Saffron - not listed- I guess the Cherrynote that teases me. I can't see this as a unisex-scent - its too sweet in my opinion to fit a man. longlasting, about 6-7 hours on my skin.

warlockss

Just got this. Opening smells like a caramelized burnt cherry toffee which then mellows out to a sweet honey leathery tobacco with a juicy dark cherry note . This kind of reminds me of Thierry mugler pure Havane in many ways . I'm loving this very much . Nice and sweet .

shushkin

I definitely get the sweet cherries, heliotrope and Orris. The vanilla makes it smell very tasty and almost gourmand. It's fresh and juicy.
The dry down stage is different. You are now more aware of the bergamot and musk with the other notes having faded back considerably. It's more fresh and not very sweet.
I think it could be unisex.
Both stages are very nice but it does smell rather chemically as sadly do many Mancera/Montales.
Good longevity but after an hour of good spillage it retracts back to a skin scent.

MoreScentsThanDollars

Sampling, Strong, Tart, Gorgeous Cherry, went straight to the must have shelves.
It's all about Cherry and Orris here not alot else going on and it's a big love for me.
A+
Update: This lasted around 15 hours on my skin, I kid you not. ❤
When first sprayed it's full on like hard core cough medicine , Someone said I smelt like wasp repellent lol but I just smiled at them as I knew this was going to be a long ride of bliss with lots of love. The longer it was on the nicer it gets, Cherry heaven! The orris and heliotrope give it a depth and a fluffy, soft place to fall. Sweet Cherry till the very end!
Oo-la-la!!!
Second update, Had to get myself a bottle just before Christmas because it's that darn good! Ho ho ho ❤

Naji

Addendum to my review....
What's not to love?? After 12 hours I'm still haunted by whiffs of Wild Cherry emanating from corners I visited in the house after a spritz or two. Love it!

Naji

Cherries, of course. Dark red cherries. Crushed breathless by sumptuous scarlet!
Mancera Wild Cherry opens like that. Cough syrup it definitely is not. Nor is it an economy synthetic concoction. Gently very gently the cherry subsides into a sweet mellowness. Sleepy red velvet. In the drydown, it reminded me of Balenciaga, tho no violet is listed.
Lovely for winter, though I'll wear it in any season. And thank heavens, no deluge of agar!
Masterfully rendered, well balanced. Mancera has strayed lately into tepid, generic blends. With this, Mancera stands redeemed.
I give it an 8 out of 10.

lucifera

ordered a sample of this, a very good replacement for when my beloved delice de cartier is running out! i can really say this is a good brand! not gone in a few hours and i like that.. gonna try more of them

supertw94109

Ha ha yes, like Kerion said medicinal cherry cough drop. Very strong projection one spray can be smelled across my small office and the vanilla and Musk notes linger for days in clothes. I actually like smelling it on other people from a distance because you can appreciate the sweet vanilla smells better without the crazy cherry menthol in your face, although I do like that too. Hard to find in US got online at Notino. This is my first Mancera and I just love the super heavy glass bottle with the wacky leopard print and the security of the screw on cap. This one bottle will last you a while.

kerion

WOW! At first spray this will knock your socks off! lol The opening is to me quite medicinal like one of those Halls Cherry cough drops BUT give it a minute and it settles down to a gorgeous, syrupy, powdery dark cherry. A sweet/sour cherry so it's not overly sweet. Smells very authentic.Be careful spraying jackets unless you want to smell it the next day or wash the jacket. Very unique with nothing sneaking up on you, just Cherry goodness.

AveParfum

Wild Cherry is a gorgeous, gorgeous, sensual, dark perfume that makes me want to wear cherries like never before. If I were 21 again, this is something I'd absolutely want to wear to go clubbing. It's nothing like Le Petite Robe Noir nor any other cherry perfume I know of (there aren't that many to my knowledge). It smells just like dark, juicy bing cherries. I would say that the cherry note is by far the biggest note, it is not subtle, it's in your face. The perfume smells like a rich, ambered syrup, so it has an oriental feel to it. Everyone around me clearly smelled cherries, nobody felt it was immature, and every single person said it smelled wonderful and wanted to sniff over and over again. I adore the sexy animal-print bottle. It matches the scent perfectly! Gosh those topics come up on the boards about stripper scents, and so many people get mad and offended about those topics, but sorry, I'd say this would be my #1 choice for a stripper. It's hot!--Fruity, sweet, dark, sensual, and erotic. No good girls here!

Madrona

La Petite Robe Noire without the liquorice and the smoke, thus rather close to the Ma Premiere Robe verison.

alberto1964

Lately Mancera did not miss a beat but this time .....I would expect a more daring fragrance. Old fashion style with the predominant musk and cherries just mentioned. Heliotrope remains a long time after 10 minutes after sprayng. Harmless, not for me.

DutchKarma

Since there is only one review for this, i decided to write my own.
I only have worn this for one day yet, so please bear this in mind. I also don't have any experience with other cherry fragrances so i cannot compare them to others.
That being said, i like this one very much! In fact i like it so much that i instantaneously bought a bottle after smelling this in the store.
The title of this perfume is very fitting since cherry is really the head star of this fragrance and stays (almost) till the end.
Especially in the opening you get a real cherry combined with the freshness of the bergamot and lemon. Its definitely on the sweeter side, but certainly not sugary sweet.
As it dries down the vanilla gets more pronounced and the scent becomes a bit more flowery (because of the jasmine and heliotrope i guess).
The development is quite linear, no surprises there.
Longevity is reasonable, on my skin it lasts around 5 hours. It turns into a skin scent for the last hour of those 5. On my clothes however longevity is prolonged with at least 3 more hours.
So in my opinion this is definitely an ideal scent for the coming spring & summer. The cherry really makes it stand out since its not that common of an ingredient.
And it makes me smile every time i smell my wrist :)

I give it an 8 out of 10 (if it would have lasted for 8 hours instead of 5 i would have given this at least a 9)

Tamirah

I could handle smelling like cherries... not to mention what a tantalizing base this would provide for endless layering possibilities. Want!!
