Just got this and the pineapple note is too sharp and cloyingly sweet for me! I much prefer the original Girl
of Now to this one! Yes they do smell very similar but the original doesn’t have that piercing/loud tangy note IMO.

I absolutely loved the first one, can't wait to try this. Tbh I didn't like the first one at first but it literally grew on my and became my favorite. Everyone around me loved it.

I found the original boring and this contains a combo of pineapple and patchouli which previously proved to be my kryptonite. I am sure this one will make someone happy but it won't be me.

I have already tried it on paper. So far, I like it better than the original, which smells just like cloyingly sweet almonds to me. It's a bit lighter and more faceted. But it's not the most exciting fragrance ever, it smells very similar to many other current almond/vanilla fragrances to me. I'll definitely try it on my skin though, I hope the roasted pistacchio and pineapple will stand out more then.

The top notes with the pistacchio and freshness are divine! Dries down a bit Chanel No. 5 ish....which is a bit dissapointing. Very cozy, not a girly scent to me.

This has problematic notes for me, but I do want to try it. I wanted to love or at least like Girl of Now, but it smelled too much like almond scented baby wipes to me. This might make my happy place happy, LOL, but I am worried about those heart notes and the patch in the dry down. Still, one never knows until one tries! :)

Sounds like a sunnier version of the original. i liked the original and i have a feeling i will like this one even more.

I'm just testing it. I received a sample yesterday, thinking it's original, not even knowing a flanker is out.
While the original has a beautiful drydown but to me too sweet and at times suffocating opening, Shine is addictive from the beginning. It's lighter, so easier to wear, while still having the original's sweetness and DNA.
Of course I should test them side by side to compare but after first impressions to me Shine is much better than the original.
