Topic: The best tuberose scents?

Over the past year I've come to realize that I love tuberose in most scents. I looooove when tuberose is creamy and smoothes out a scent. Please help me find more that I'll love! I seem to have a strong preference for frags with a bit of sweetness in them along with tuberose such as:

One of the sweetest tuberoses I know is Honore des Pres Vamp à NY , tuberose and rhum. Molinard Tubéreuse Vertigineuse is in the same vein, tuberose and coconut, very sexy!

Also, Gucci Gucci Bloom is an amazing scent, interesting because it's a little bit different, drier I'd say.

Other lovely tuberoses: Coquillete Moramanga , L`Artisan Parfumeur La Chasse aux Papillons (tuberose+linden), Miller Harris Noix de Tubereuse (very very creamy), James Heeley Bubblegum Chic (opens likea bomb, but becomes very wearable) and Gucci Flora by Gucci Gracious Tuberose , Nishane Tuberoza

The alternative without tuberose, but with a similar scent (ie. Ylang-Ylang) would be

  Samsara

Both tuberose and Ylang-Ylang are highly narcotic and intoxicating.

Maybe that's what you're looking for.

The Grandiflorum Jasmine in most vintage French perfumes is also narcotic.

All 3 are interchangeable.

These are my favourite tuberose scents:

Robert Piguet Petit Fracas - sweet and wonderful

L`Artisan Parfumeur Nuit de Tubereuse - a more spicy and fresh one



Robert Piguet Douglas Hannant - a lighter Fracas

Also, of course, the ultimate tuberose Robert Piguet Fracas.

I didn't try this one but I have heard it is a sweet and beautiful scent: Pantheon Roma Donna Margherita.

You should also try Dolce&Gabbana Velvet Desire and

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Le Beau Parfum

Diptyque Do Son is my favourite tuberose oerfume. It is incredibly smooth, so buttery.
