I bought this perfume at a low price, packaged, it was long forgotten in some warehouse. The liquid in the bottle is much darker than in the photo and it is dark purple (others notice this too). Smell: I have yet to come across another perfume that is similar to... coffee flavored with milk with a splash of brandy. I've been trying for an hour and the smell doesn't change: it's coffee flavored with milk, maybe caramel candies - that's what it smells like. A very pleasant, intimate evening scent.

Bath and Body Works just released a new fragrance called "Coffee and Whiskey" that comes pretty darn close. For a more expensive alternative, consider For Him Bleu Noir Parfum from Narcisso Rodriguez. The BBW is less smooth and the NR has more iris, but both will get you close. Doubt that Zara will ever bring it back, but heck, they brought back Gourmand Leather so you never know!

After 1 year of searching this i managed to get a bottle online at a very resonable price. This is probably one of the best fragrance that Zara has ever done, it's a delicious, gourmand and sensual scent, really a masterpiece and i was not expecting that at all. This has some similarities to Zara 9.0 when you first spray it, so yes, it has that Valentino Uomo vibe. After that initial blast it becomes different and goes to a chocolaty, coffee, caramel and tobacco smell, astonishing quality for the price here, i really don't know why Zara discontinued this.
I have the 2017 version and i have extreme longevity, like 10 hours but with low projection, probably it has been stored badly in these years by my seller or my skin just kill it, i don't know. By the way the liquid has turned purple like others said.

I got this 5 years ago for my boyfriend, we had just recently started dating back then. He still has it and says that it is the best smelling perfume that he has ever had!
Unlike most of Zara´s perfumes this one is of high quality something like a Dior fragrance!. I remember when I got this for him, I sneaked out to buy him a birthday present, It was snowing and the streets were empty, I went to a Zara shop and when I smelled this I fell in love, up until now whenever he wears it I remember that snowy night and that amazing magical feeling when you newly have started dating someone special...

If you're wanting a strong coffee, chocolate, gourmet type of fragrance try diabe bleu by creation lamis. It was a bit strong for me but it look's like it smells similar to zara indeterminee going by the review's, I won't be hunting down a bottle of this as the zara fragrance's I've tried have been very disappointing there overhyped and short lived. Maybe this is an exception, the prices are probably way too high anyway .

I smelled it, bought it. Hated it. Tried it again. Ditched it for 3 years and the liquid has turned purple.

I actually appreciate this now. It took me years to accept gourmand notes and finally this one isn't so bad. A blast of vanilla and sweet tobacco kinda reminiscent of Rochas Man. I remember it stayed very present all day on my skin.

I don't think I'm actually ready to wear this again, but I'm good smelling it every once in a while. Check back in a decade.

I am a huge fan of Zara fragrances and the whole mistery surrounding this particular one really caught my attention. I'm from Spain myself so as soon as I saw it I threw myself in the wild to see if I could find it somehwere. First place I searched was Google, of course, with no results whatosever. Then I get, after much time lost surfing the net, onto a second hand plattform knowing that of course nobody would show up selling it. Was I wrong. Found someone who happened to be a member of this community as well. He happened to own a few bottles and sold me one at a very good price. Of course I got one. He really insisted in the quality of it, and how amazing he was that it had only cost him 9,99, but I just thought he was exaggerating a little bit.

Not at all. This here is BY FAR the best Zara fragrance that has ever existed, and I've put my nose in lots of them, including Rich Warm Addictive, which was in my top before this. But, IMO, this is miles better than that one. It could perfectly compete with a 100 dollars fragrance, if not more.

The scent is absolutely delicious, elegant and mysterious. In the opening you get this chocolate, Baileys kind of smell, really dark, really pleasant, that sits and blends perfectly on the skin (I've applied this to 3 different people and it was amazing how the fragrance just got into their souls). This juice, once settled, starts to evolve on its own, giving notes of tobacco, and a weird thing I could not tell, which may just be the pomelo. It is absolutely delicious. You are a walking sexy caramel basically. Gourmand, but you don't want to eat it, you just want to admire it. Weird to explain I know, but that's just how I feel.

My parents are not into the whole fragrance thing and they were AMAZED by this fragrance. Longevity is incredible (I get 12+ hours, and wake up smelling it as well after a whole day) and it pretty much rules whatever other scents may be in a room. Do NOT spray on clothes, it doesn't compare to what it does on skin.

Presentation is just fine. Classic Zara. I like the packaging, and the bottle is decent. Atomizer is pretty good as well.

This is a masterpiece. There's no other way to put it. If you happen to find it, go get it no doubt.

People say it is similar to Valentino Uomo... well yeah, maybe? I don't know. Not really. Maybe there's also that chocalety sweetness in the beginning, but that's about it.

9.5/10.

I've been waiting on this to return for years now. Zara currently has a scent in Zara Woman called Gourmand Addict. The notes are different but the dry down is spot on. I still have some Tone Indeterminee that I never plan on using and just smell the bottle from time to time because it is so amazing. Comparing the two, Gourmand Addict is the closest thing since the release of Tone Indeterminee

socorrosouza

This on me is delicious. A creamy almost chocolate-y tobacco , almost liquid, very sensual, like a cozy cashmere scarf on your skin but with a gourmandy appeal.Plus it lasts for 6 hours and more with moderate sillage and is not expensive. Although they are diferent scents Tone Indeterminee has the same aura of creaminess as Valentino Uomo.

moreorlessa

Deliciously buttery and unissex. I think this is a very unique way to go about a gourmand fragrance. Another reviewer said they smelled baked bread and I believe they are onto somehting, because I feel like there are some facets that link this to Jeu de Peaux and Vanille Charnelle. A slight popcorn note, very creamy and cozy, think ordering a hot drink and warm bread in a boulangerie to keep warm from the weather outside sort of vibe.

The first instance my nose met this fragrance, it was love at first sniff.

The perfect balance of gourmands and masculine tones like tobacco filled the room where I had stayed, and the moment my friends came in, they were welcomed by the edible scents, made them crave for chocolates and pastries! Two of my lady friends even asked me what was I wearing, and I gladly shared with them. When they knew about the price vis-a-vis the quality of the fragrance, they declared they would get one for themselves, and they did! They even gifted me with a bottle, as a symbol of gratitude.

I live in a tropical country, and there is absolutely no issue with the chemistry of this; it probably even hightened the many surprisingly beautiful olfactory layers of this frag.

Seems I would be having a long-term relationship with this scent, longer than my previous relationships with others. And I am a frighteningly loyal to anything I love.

Can anyone help me to find a bottle of this in Australia?

Perhaps someone has a bottle they don't want/need?

Sometimes when my cat is in a playful mood, he will gently bite my arm. And sometimes he bites at the spot where I applied my cologne. He then whimpers off and will comically open and close his mouth a couple of times, trying to get rid of that cologne taste in his mouth. Now, fast forward to Zara's Tone Indeterminee. I applied Z.T.I. a couple hours ago, so I'm still experiencing the best part of this scent (the drydown). Then my cat comes over to me and inexplicably starts licking my arm in the exact spot where the Z.T.I. is! He licks that spot for at least half a minute. So Z.T.I. must be good if it's "cat approved", right?!
That cat must be onto something because this is delicious! Delicious and the tobacco leaves give it enough of a masculine edge that it doesn't become too sweet. I can't believe I paid only $7.99 for a 100ml bottle. There's a striking resemblance to Valentino Uomo, only this is better. It's the cinnamon bark and ambrette that make this so yummy. Yes, the very same ambrette that is probably best known for its use in the extremely popular Dior Homme Intense. Interesting that Fragrantica has this classified as an oriental fragrance. Hmmm......perhaps, but to me as well as many other reviewers this smells gourmand-like. So to all gourmand fans, fragrance fans, and apparently cats too (just kidding of course because I would never hurt that cat); Z.T.I. is worth a try/buy and it's definitely the best "bang for the buck" fragrance I've ever bought.

CHEERS!!

I'm not going to describe the already very well known notes and similarities with other expensive and respectable fragrances (or mix of them), but just want to say that what I get here is simply one of the best smelling fragrances in my collection at such an incredibly bargain price (I paid €7.99 for 100 ml) that it's really hard to believe.

I get, in addition to the described notes, a very delicious and addictive spicy anise vibe to it.

It opens more oriental / spicy and it dries down more sweety / gourmand. Absolutely exquisite.

Extremely well blended oriental / gourmand fragrance, better for Fall / Winter, although wearable in Spring I presume and fresh evenings in Summer too.

Very good performance (projection & longevity).

Best value for the money without any doubt. For the price, the BEST purchase I've ever made.

Highly recommended. 12/10. Cum Laude.

as usual the zara accord list is (more than) a bit off.
i smell bitter almond, milk, baked bread, rum, nutmeg, iris and cinnamon in the opening. it mellows down to a sweet, milky-caramel vanilla+tonka with a hint of tobacco spice and iris in the back. yes, in case you're wondering, it's just as amazing as it sounds. i'm gonna wear the hell out of this in the fall/winter time, it's such a cool gourmand scent and the price tag is unbelievable for the quality and price. don't expect niche quality, but do expect a decent designer fragrance--this is what ferragamo uomo should have been. also, i'm not sure why rich warm addictive was hyped instead of this, this is far better rounded, and more complex without that annoying cheap coconut and honey accord. anyway, grab it while you can, i don't think its gonna make it past the summer, as it has just gone on sale.

woolfie

Wait, this is marketed for men? Oh well, who pays attention to any of that today anyway? I don't!
What a phenomenal gourmand, I'd like to thank those that recommended this over spending beaucoup for the super cool packaging of Kilian (I get it, that chic black skull box!) but this literally does smell every bit as delicious and almost exact to Black Phantom.

The only notable difference was a hint of anise in the initial application but I actually think the dry down on this is better and has much better longevity. I get caramel, hot cocoa and a bit of vanilla here also.
This is ideal for a cool/chilly special evening out with someone you want to know better, it's too sexy for itself and you will be too (if it jives with your chemistry). This is slow, sweet seduction par excellence.

Update 6/29/2017 I just received the full bottle I ordered shortly after confirming it's spot on from a small tester buy on eBay (sadly, Zara frags are not avail. in US) and I still adore this scent.
The only difference I notice now is a more distinct tobacco note all the way through from start to dry down. Not previously smoked tobacco but the delicious 'fresh leaf" scent.
The more I smell it, the more I love this syrupy sexy juice.
Esp surprising to not only myself but friends who know my scent palette & are well aware this is not my usual style at all!

I'm also picking up more on the rum, neroli & cedar wood in that order after the fresh tobacco.
Thanks for reading, I would encouraging trying a tester if possible before ordering an entire bottle but if you're a sucker for sweet, cinnamon/vanilla/caramel hinted tobacco gourmands you're probably perfectly safe with this affordable gem.

socorrosouza

Like it a lot. Rich, warm and Addictive felt bitter on my skin, i was prepared to love it but didn't gel, the smell was like rotten food. But Tone Indeterminee is a spicy chocolate, it is soft but not quite chocolate, has some spice nuances, like a thai made with chocolate instead of tea. Longevity of 5/6 hours with soft sillage.

MrHonest

"HOLY. FREAKING. GOD."

I went to Zara the other day and tried out all of the men's frags they had on display (like 16). Most of them were pretty boring and generic apart from 3 - Indeterminee, Aromatic future and rich, warm, addictive (RWA).

And yes, Aromatic future is a straight up Sauvage clone (and a good one), but the other two were simply fantastic. So I sprayed one on each arm, and asked a few women about them.

6/6 women LOVED both scents
5/6 women said that RWA was more feminine
4/6 women preferred Indeterminee overall

The first time I sprayed Indeterminee on a test strip, I IMMEDIATELY thought - Yes! Valentino Uomo! Wait...Dior Homme maybe? Definitely some chocolate in there...

After about 10 minutes on my skin, this stuff went from being fantastic to Godly, and then to something else entirely, since every time I smelled it, I had a fit of expletives:

" Mother F**king YES! "
" Jesus H. Sh**! "
" Holy God!!! F**k! "

and so on...

But seriously, this smells like a better version of Valentino Uomo, with some cocoa butter, vanilla and sweet goodness. It's definitely got that deep hazelnut opening that becomes sweeter and sweeter with time. Imagine a chocolate dessert suncream or maybe a thick, black forest cake with a hazelnut glaze. That's it. I don't care what the notes say on the box. This is dessert SEX.

And eventhough it's a straight-up gourmand, somehow, I can still see this being an all year scent, dressed up or down; and like most people have said, TOTALLY UNISEX.

But for $15 CAD????!!!! ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME???

So although RWA IS very addictive, I find Indeterminee to be much warmer, richer, slightly more masculine and wearable. That's why I picked up a bottle.

Easily THE BEST bargain frag I have smelled so far. Better than a hooker. And cheaper too.

JanneMan45

Also a good one from Zara!

I like the smell of this gourmand fragrance, get cinnamon and some tobacco from this. In the top of my Zara fragrances!

I got a compliment on this from someone who is not into fragrances.....it smells good!

Got a decent 10 hours out of it that I smell this on myself.

Could be Unisex.

Javz05

Interesting Smell, interesting and good. When I first sprayed it I could only think of cookies and coffee. That's what I get. It could be totally unisex.

samuelgustav

Too bad they only sell a bundle of aromatic future with the aquatic one, would love if there was a bundle with this one.

Very good fragrance, much better then the tobacco collection indeed, a bit redundant on my collection that's why I can't justify buying it on it's own, even though is so cheap.

ropb2982

imagine valentino uomo and salvatore ferragamo uomo in the same bottle and you get this one...simply divine

Calvini

This was pretty nice, sweet and light (my 2nd favorite on the entire shelf). Without reading the notes I thought it was some kind of milky tonka (probably because I misread the name); I didn't get any chocolate nor coffee (I also consider those 2 rich or dark notes, but this is neither).

JoeMacchiato

A very nice gourmand with notes of coffee, caramel/condensed milk, vanilla. Grab it before it's gone. For the price it asks, there should really be no complaints.

muskymark

It's like spashing on dark chocolate ice cream after going inside a cigar room. Fantastic frag, I'm in love.

Barze

So nice its like vanilla ice cream or milk
Like it

Plantus

I also smell more coffee, chocolate and tonka/vanilla. I don't get the tobacco at all.

To me Tone Indeterminee is a crossing between Rochas Man, Pure Tonka and the new Ferragamo Uomo.

Great quality, especially for the price, the performances are awesome, but is just a bit to sweet for me.

Maybe I will enjoy it more in the winter.

But for the price I still rate this fragrance 10/10!

fabb59

Lo uso en combinación con Zara woman oriental y su resultado es una mezcla de tabaco, canela, ámbar y vainilla maravillosa. Su duración es buena y su precio también.

I use this perfume layer with Zara woman oriental and its result as wonderful mix of tobacco, cinnamon, amber and vanilla. Good longevity and good price too.

KyleN

I smelt this and immediately thought of Sticky warm syrup poured over freshly made pancakes and/or waffles.

Sugary sweet with slightly better than average performance.
Perfect for day or night use in colder temperatures!

I shown my girlfriend this and she said it reminded her of a vanilla & cocoa scented candle she smelt once. Interesting. She wears it too!

leviegalapon

Smells like sweetened iced coffee

Davna listed the correct note breakdown from the box

But if I had to list notes I could smell it would be

Coffee, sugar, rum, cinnamon bark, and cedarwood.

Very good overall, definitely one of my favorite coffee smelling scents, very good longevity and sillage as Davna stated too.

Also a cold weather fragrance, this will get cloying in the high summer heat.

rhr

Very sweet and dry tobacco. Longevity is not the best.
Edit: longevity is better than good, tried it out again.

davna

As printed on the box....Oriental
Top notes : Grapefruit zest, Cinammon bark
Heart notes : Neroli, Tobacco leaves
Base notes : Rum, Cedarwood, Ambrette.

IMO, it smells like Valentino Uomo. Super longevity and sillage, even on hot weather.
