How does it work?
Step 1: Choose
Choose your Brussels Card duration (24hrs, 48hrs, 72hrs) and personalize it with your preferred options (public transport, Hop on Hop off buses, Atomium).
Step 2: Buy
Buy your Brussels Card online, in our app or at one of the physical sales points. From this moment on, you will have one year to activate your card. Your Brussels Card is available as a Home Print, Mobile or App ticket.
Step 3: Activate
Activate your Brussels Card by scanning it in a museum (or at the Atomium if you take this option). From this moment, you have access to 49 museums for 24, 48 or 72 hours.
With the Brussels Card, you get free entry to 49 Brussels museums. You also get a whole range of discounts. To benefit from the discounts, cut out the desired coupon from your Brussels Card booklet and give it to the person in charge where the service is available (or simply show it via your mobile or your Brussels Card application). Discounts are only valid once and can be used until 31 January 2023 included, regardless of when your Brussels Card expires.
- Atomium option gives you access to the Atomium and allows you to cut the purchase line. Go directly head to the entrance gates and scan your Brussels Card to enter. You must do your visit during while your Brussels Card is valid.
- Public transport option gives you access to STIB buses, trams and metros for 24, 48 or 72 hours. If you choose this option, you get an event pass code that allows you to pick up your paper public transport ticket at one of STIB’s 375 GO ticket machines. You can find them in all metro stations and at major bus and tram stops, see locations here. The validity of your public transport ticket starts from your first use in the bus/tram/metro. This first use doesn’t have to coincide with your first museum visit, as the two tickets operate independently of each other.
- Hop on Hop off option gives you access to the TOOTbus Hop on Hop off buses for 24, 48 or 72 hours. If you take this option, just have the Hop on Hop off driver scan your Brussels Card. The validity of your Hop on Hop off ticket starts from your first use in the bus. This first use doesn’t have to coincide with your first museum visit, as the two tickets operate independently of each other.
